• independence • Sometimes I think I’m not so sure if I should be that pleased/happy that we’ve raised such worldly and strong young adults, part of me is a little sad that our kids are so independent but a big part of me is extremely proud that they are who they are, independent (and self funded financially stable also) young adults..... It’s almost been a year (in two weeks) since Taylor moved out of home on her own without any help physically or financially, and we did not have one worry as we knew she would handle it so very well.... Our only worry was, missing her... And now today I’ve dropped Dan off at the airport for yet another solo trip to visit his sister for a couple of days.... It doesn’t mean that we don’t have a care for these kids and push them out into the big wide world at a young age!!!! It just means we’ve taught them along the way to be independent, strong, caring and responsible people!!!! I think we’ve done pretty good......
