Your blog gives vibes of sneaking into a museum late at night and running around in the halls, footsteps echoing as you glide from one room to the other. It smells like coffee and rain and a certain smell that you can quite pinpoint, but it feels like home. It is longing for a life that has not yet been lived while missing one you never had. It’s two friends catching up in a library discussing art and planning the next literary revolution. It’s comfort and discomfort, a rebel in disguise.
I hope you become the subject of an artist’s art one day . Whatever form it may be.

old paperbacks, messy hair, mismatched socks, disorganized playlists, kisses on collarbone, smeared mascara, crumpled paper, art galleries, museums, rainy sunsets and gothic architecture, coffee, studying under dim light

There is something thoroughly intimate about reading someone's annotations in a book. Reading their exact emotions and feelings at a particular line. It's seeing a part of theirself that most people, if any, do not. Its understanding their mind, and there is nothing more intimate or beautiful than that.

reading a book isn't enough i want the book to, as julian said, consume me, devour me, unstring my bones. then spit me out reborn.
