Honey is a fantastic natural ingredient that can effectively hydrate the skin and fade acne scars. Its humectant properties enable it to attract and retain moisture, keeping the skin hydrated and supple. Additionally, honey contains antioxidants and antibacterial properties that help fight acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation. When applied topically, honey promotes the healing process of acne scars by stimulating collagen production and improving skin elasticity. So, incorporating honey into your skincare routine can be a beneficial and natural way to achieve hydrated and scar-free skin.

Holy grain skin or beauty products?
I’ll make a separate post for my beauty products.
AM: this random toner I found in Spain, sunscreen, moisturiser.
PM: glycolic toner, retinol, moisturiser.
I use the body shop face mask 1-2 times a week.

Y'know #skinneutrality and all that but some days I just really wish my skin didn't hurt, itch, or make others think I don't wash

Why am I doing it to myself, why am I picking on my acne again? I didn’t do it for a week now which is my record but I felt so distressed I needed to feel some kind of pain and my face is obviously always available because it’s not covered by anything. This is such a disgusting coping mechanism and the pain is temporary but scars are forever. I hate myself. I wish I could wake up with a crystal clear face with everything healed but it’s not how it works obviously.

Ceramides play a crucial role in nourishing and safeguarding the skin barrier against harmful external toxins. These wondrous molecules act as the body's natural defense mechanism, keeping the skin hydrated and supple. By forming a protective layer, ceramides prevent moisture loss and shield the skin from environmental aggressors like pollution and UV rays. This helps maintain the skin's integrity, preventing dryness, irritation, and potential damage. So, in a nutshell, ceramides are like the superheroes of skincare, ensuring our skin stays healthy and protected.

Friendly reminder for my acne prone sunshines to check the product's ingredient list from the store you purchase it from for pore clogging ingredients
Apparently the same product has different ingredient lists based on the store
A product that has non pore clogging ingredients on yesstyle doesn't mean it will have the same ingredient list in a store in your country, learnt that the hard way (fucking beeswax in "acne-prone friendly" product)
Be safe<3

Hello friends, I need some skincare help
I am wanting to come off of prescription Clindamycin for acne because I have to start paying for my skincare by myself soon along with a bunch of other adult stuff
I have dry, somewhat acne prone, sensitive skin and cannot use fragranced products and I used to have oily acne prone skin but that changed when I grew up- I'm 18 so I don't need like peptides and wrinkle stuff, just acne (if that helps)
Do you guys have any acne products that you recommend?
