This lovely crown, accented with glass stones and pearls, and  surrounded by a circlet of fleur-de–lis like designs was first seen on Jeannette Weegar as Princess Regina in the 2001 film Black Knight.
It was next seen on Helena Bonham Carter as Anne Boleyn in the 2003 mini-series Henry VIII.  In 2007 it was worn by Claire Danes as Yvaine in Stardust. In 2008, it was worn in the second season of The Tudors on Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn.  It appeared again in 2010 on Amber Beattie as Jane Grey in an episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures entitled Lost in Time. In 2013 it was worn by an uncredited actress as Anne Neville in the BBC documentary The Real White Queen and Her Rivals.  Lastly, it was worn by Claire Foy as Anne Boleyn in the BBC’s 2015 production of Wolf Hall.
The piece does seem to have undergone some minor adjustments over the years. The clear glass jewel in the front of the crown appears to have been replaced by an orange piece, and the fleur-de-lis, which were just slightly pointed outward, seem to have been straightened.  However, close inspection of this jewels does reveal it to be the same piece.

📽️ Enola Holmes (2020)
I didn’t actually watch this movie until after the second one was out. I was refusing to watch it on principle, although now I don’t even know what that principle was. I enjoyed this movie quite a bit more than I thought I would. I thought it was going to be another super corny, super woke Netflix movie. I was surprised to find I genuinely enjoyed it. I rarely try to figure things out as the movie goes on because I love the big reveal at the end. I do agree with some that have said there was too much going on, but I think it all works out in the end. I would watch this again.
Sex/nudity: 1/10 (breasts shown in an art book briefly)
Language: 2/10 (nothing too bad but there is some)
Violence: 3/10 (there are quite a few fight scenes but nothing too graphic, mild blood)
Overall rating: 7/10

Some collages I've put together in honor of today... The top left is a collage of Anne portraits, the top right is (nearly) every actress who's played her in a movie/TV show, the bottom left shows art of May 19, and the bottom right shows film/TV portrayals of May 19.

RIP Queen Anne Boleyn (1501/7 - May 19, 1536) 💖❤️💔👑
Historian Eric Ives: "She had been a remarkable woman. She would remain a remarkable woman even in a century which produced many of great note. There were few others who rose from such beginnings to a crown, and none contributed to a revolution as far-reaching as the English Reformation. To use a description no longer in fashion, Anne Boleyn was one of the ‘makers of history’. Yet historians see through a glass darkly; they know in part and they pronounce in part. What Anne really was, as distinct from what Anne did, comes over very much less clearly. To us she appears inconsistent - religious yet aggressive, calculating yet emotional, with the light touch of the courtier yet the strong grip of the politician - but is this what she was, or merely what we strain to see through the opacity of the evidence? As for her inner life, short of a miraculous cache of new material, we shall never really know. Yet what does come to us across the centuries is the impression of a person who is strangely appealing to the early twenty-first century. A woman in her own right - taken on her own terms in a man’s world; a woman who mobilized her education, her style and her presence to outweigh the disadvantages of her sex; of only moderate good looks, but taking a court and a king by storm. Perhaps, in the end, it is Thomas Cromwell’s assessment that comes nearest: intelligence, spirit and courage."

Try, try, try again: Andrew Pelling, Tory MP, Labour councillor, now a LibDem candidate CROYDON COMMENTARY: Yesterday we reported how a former Croydon MP is standing for election with his third political party.
