In the Sunshine Airport track in Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, three different messages can be heard faintly over the intercom. These are difficult to hear in-game due to being drowned out by the music and the sounds of the race. Here they are extracted from the game's files. In order, the lines are:
"Paging Galaxy Airlines, Flight 2218, passenger Ms. Birdo, please proceed to the information counter on Floor 2."
"Passengers departing on Galaxy Airlines, Flight 2580, bound for Dolphin Shoals, should proceed to customs and immigration at this time."
"This is the final boarding call for Boomerang Bros. International Airline, Flight 117a to Sweet Sweet Canyon, departing from Gate 3."

A Good Roommate Is Hard To Find Part 3
Synopsis: Ben has harbored a secret crush on his roommate for a long time, only to find out that said roommate is the newest villain on the scene during a robbery at his job
CW: blood mention, wound care
Part one here:
Ben’s job offered him a transfer to another bank in the city but he declined. Despite jumping every time the automatic doors opened, he figured lightning wouldn’t strike twice and Adam’s team wouldn’t target this bank a second time.
The next couple of weeks were almost unbearable.
That next morning Adam returned Ben’s phone with all the nonchalance as if he just merely updated it. Ben snooped around a bit but couldn’t see anything new in his apps. Of course, he wasn’t a programmer like Adam was. God only knew what spy-ware Adam put on his phone and he had no hope of getting rid of it.
To Adam’s credit, he tried valiantly to act as if nothing happened. He did dishes without complaint, always cleaned the bathroom to spotless perfection when it was his turn, sat in the living room with one of their favorite shows on or Mario Kart to tempt Ben into the living room.
But Ben did not know how to act. It wasn’t even that Adam had gotten himself involved with bad people who robbed banks and shot guns at innocent bank tellers like Ben. It was that Adam would threaten to kill him at a moment’s notice. That Adam felt comfortable and skilled with a knife at someone’s throat.
It felt like living with Jekyll and Hyde and he didn’t know when Other Adam, Knife Happy Adam, would leap out again. So Ben played the Normal Game for as long as he could stand it, which was approximately the length of dinner and maybe one youtube video before he disappeared back into his bedroom. Sometimes Adam would try to coax him out again with temptations such as running down the street for ice cream or renting a movie that just came to streaming, all things Ben would have loved to do Before and now which he declined.
Eventually Adam stopped asking. Eventually they both played the We Pretend We Don’t Have a Roommate Game. Adam disappeared from the living room, coming home late at night or sometimes into the next afternoon.
Ben avoided the news as much as possible because he didn’t want to know but he couldn’t help overhear what coworkers and customers talked about: bombed warehouses and robberies and a body or two in the streets.
Each time he heard something the guilt and fear of his secret burned up his throat like acid. It felt like it was stamped on his forehead, that anyone looking under the shaggy bangs he needed to trim would see it, spelled out to the world.
A month of this passed in slow agony. Ben missed the Before so much he dreamed about it, about the whole thing being some elaborate joke or nightmare and he could return to a life where his biggest problem was hiding his stupid gay crush on his roommate.
A month passed and then Adam didn’t come home for two days. Ben paced the living room for two nights, gnawing his nails down to stubs and wondering if he should put in a missing person’s report or if that would just make the whole situation worse.
And then Adam stumbled in at 1 in the morning, covered in blood.
“Holy shit,” Ben yelped.
Adam looked like a zombie extra in a movie, shuffling on wounded leg, blood splattered down his neck. It’d almost be funny if it wasn’t so heart-sickeningly real.
“I’m — I’m fine,” he mumbled, staggering to the shower.
Fine? Fine? Ben stood right in front of the shower door as the water ran, listening for the tell tale thump of a body falling. He didn’t hear that, but he did hear several pained grunts and hissed curses.
Did he need the hospital? Would he even let Ben take him to the hospital? Oh god, what if he died in the apartment? How the fuck was Ben supposed to explain that? How was he supposed to live with himself, ignoring his best friend the last month of his life instead of trying to — to —
The water shut off and the door wrenched open, steam billowing around Adam wrapped in a towel. The blood was gone save for scrapes and cuts that still wept.
“We still have that first aid kit, right?” he asked.
Like he scraped his knee playing basketball at the park.
“Yeah,” Ben said faintly.
“Cool.” He waited a moment and then cocked an eyebrow. “Are you . . .going to move? It fucking hurts to stand right now.”
That kick-started the panicked fog in his brain.
“Sorry! Shit. Okay. Just sit on the couch and I’ll get the — the —“
He didn’t bother finishing, zipping out to the kitchen, where he kept the kit stashed above the fridge. Thank God he kept it stocked, knowing how often he nicked himself cutting vegetables. Not that the stuff in here would help much if Adam needed stitches.
Adam leaned back on the couch, chest shuddering with his breathing, his mouth pinched in a tight, painful line. Ben perched himself on the edge of the coffee table and plucked out the pain killers first out of the kit. Adam dry swallowed them before Ben could offer water.
“Go to bed,” Adam said tersely. “You don’t need to see this.”
“Don’t be stupid,” said Ben. “You’re hurt really bad. Maybe we should go to the —“
“Don’t. Don’t you dare even suggest that.”
“What if you die?”
Adam snorted. “I’m not going to die. Just get me a warm wet washcloth and pass me the antibiotic cream.”
Happy to have something small and manageable to do, Ben immediately complied. He picked the softest, most worn out washcloth they had and soaked it in warm water. When he returned, Adam was already dabbing at a scrap on his knee with rubbing alcohol and hissing. He took the proffered washcloth with barely a glance at Ben, using it to rub away the excess blood that had started to leak from a gash on his side.
“What happened?” Ben asked.
“You don’t want to know. I just . . .wasn’t fast enough this time.”
“This time?”
Adam gave him a flat look, as if to say Quit asking, I’m not telling you shit.
“You don’t have to stay up, Ben. Really. I can take care of this. I’ve done it many times before.”
That’s not reassuring Ben thought. It was heartbreaking.
“I can help,” he said.
“I don’t want you to help.”
“Too bad.”
Feeling daring, he took a cotton ball and smeared the cream on it before dabbing it onto a scrape on the back of Adam’s forearm. To his surprise, Adam allowed it, propping his arm on his knee and watching been with those keen eyes.
This was not the time to pop a timid, curious boner but dear Jesus.
Whatever Adam had been doing the last several months had whittled his body away into a lean, muscular machine, so much of it on display dressed in just a towel. He had to lean in , smelling Adam’s body wash and the sharp scene of the alcohol, getting close enough to see the light constellation of scars on Adam’s chest and arms.
It all felt strangely intimate, the only light coming from the dim glow of the living room lamp. Their breathing the only sound in the room.
Once he was done with the arm, he taped gauze to it and wrapped it. Adam held perfectly still, his gaze a heavy weight that Ben could not hold. When Ben finished and started to pull (reluctantly) away, Adam’s hand darted out and gripped his wrist.
“I’m sorry,” he said.
Ben chanced a glance at Adam and flinched at the intensity he saw.
“Don’t,” he said, swallowing. He took the hope in his chest and crushed it. “You don’t even know what you’re sorry for. You just . . . want to manipulate me into liking you again.”
“I know what I did. It was wrong. You didn’t deserve it.”
“And yet you still did it. You didn’t even think first.”
“I was afraid.”
Now Ben gave him a flat stare of disbelief. “You? Afraid of me?”
The fucking audacity when Adam put a knife to his throat.
“You were never supposed to find out. I didn’t plan on it. I didn’t know how to react.”
“You have a plan for everything.”
“I never know what I’m doing when it comes to you,” Adam said softly.
Ben froze, his mind drawing conclusions he didn’t dare to dwell on. “What does that mean?”
Adam went silent. The bright intensity of his emotions shuttered off in his eyes, like a shade being drawn.
“I was bluffing,” he said, voice calm and even. “I don’t need a knife to hurt you. But the threat should have been a last resort and I’m sorry. It was a knee jerk reaction and you didn’t deserve it. You’ve been nothing but a loyal friend and good roommate.”
Disappointment — stupid disappointment that came from a hope he should have never fostered, not even for a second — tugged down like a lead balloon in his chest.
“Good roommates are hard to find,” he added softly.
Adam’s mouth curled up in a wistful smile. “Exactly.”
Ben tried to pull his hand away again, but Adam didn’t let go.
“Ben,” he said softly, squeezing Ben’s wrist until he looked up. “It will never happen again, okay? You don’t need to walk on eggshells around me.”
“Okay,” Ben said, nodding.
Later that night, as he tumbled into bed sometime past two in the morning, he could hear Adam’s voice echoing in his head.
I don’t need a knife to hurt you

even if you don’t add anymore parts to that story, i just wanted to ask how you think it would be between reader and nando in the future. and if luna gets a new sibling ☺️

So, a few head canons about the life after, in wreck my plans:
- You went back to social media after a while, and the followers were surprisingly receptive to you. There, you shared small snippets of your life (nothing too personal), pics of you, of Luna, your pets and even pics of Fernando (but they didn't show his face or anything recognizable).
- You found out you were pregnant again a little bit before your 3 year anniversary with Fernando, so you decided to tell him about the baby with a cute little present (a box with a custom AM baby onesie, baby socks with the number 14 and the positive pregnancy test). You moved in together around that time (Luna also started picking up spanish because of the familiarity of living with Fernando).
- Luna took the news very well, you and Fernando were scared she wasn't going to like it, but she was very excited about a little sibling. And because of Luna, it didn't take long for her to tell her dad about it. Which resulted in a frantic call you got from your Lewis late at night asking if it was true, he went ballistic once you confirmed and before he could do anything, you hung up on him.
- Only two weeks later, a paparazzi posted pictures he took of you, Luna and Fernando walking around in his hometown. It sent the world into a frenzy. You calmed down an angry Fernando telling him it was a coincidence, but deep down you knew it wasn't. Luckily, your pregnancy wasn't showing at that time, so no one noticed.
- You sent Lewis a big rant via text, and all the screenshots of the texts the woman who he cheated on you with sent you when you were pregnant with Luna. Then you blocked him before he could reply. There was a big wave of hatred towards you when the news came out, not only on social media, but also in general media outlets.
- Only a couple of days later, Lewis was questioned about your (now public) relationship with one of his rivals. Surprisingly, he said you were a single woman and he just wanted you to be happy. He also held himself accountable and came clean about the cheating that caused your relationship to end.
- Fernando wanted to retire immediately after finding out you were pregnant, but you convinced him to think better and at least finish the current season in Formula One. When the season ended, you were around five months pregnant.
- You went to the last race of that season with Fernando, a pretty dress that clung to your body as you proudly showed the baby bump and a jacket with a big 14 on the back. That was his last race before retirement and there was a small symbolic ceremony to celebrate his career.
- Fernando and Luna got a great relationship, and she even asked him to take her karting in his track frquently. She enjoyed time with him, and Fernando always respected his role as a step father. Eventually, after her brother, Vicenzo, was born, she started calling Fernando "Papá Nano" because her brother called him "Papá". (There was a long conversation with Lewis about his opinion on the matter, and after some discussion, he said Luna could call Fernando that as long as Lewis kept being the only Dad/Daddy)
- You and Lewis manage to get a good, respectable relationship for the sake of Luna. You never found out if he was the one who leaked your relationship with Fernando (and you never cared to ask).
- You and Fernando got married in a little intimate wedding ceremony on the beach, just the closest family and friends. Vicenzo was 2 and Luna was 7 when the wedding happened. You got pregnant again by accident after the honeymoon.
IDK I JUST THINK ABOUT AN OVERALL HAPPY ENDING BECAUSE READER DESERVES IT.

3 MONTHS, 3 DAYS, AND 33 MINUTES MASTERLIST
SUMMARY II you've always had feelings for your gray haired senior. To the point that you'd confess to the man in front of the whole Akademiya. Pitying you, he gives you 3 months, 3 days and 33 minutes to make him fall for you. Let the roller coaster of chaos begin!

CHAPTER IV — arcade date?? more like FNAF lore dump
“ COME ON, KAVEH!! ”
A loud, hearty voice was heard outside the dorm room, with loud banging coming from the door.
The day has come where both [Name] and Kaveh finally have a free day and they have decided to go to the arcade for fun. Maybe, try to win some prizes.
For it is currently 9 AM, and Saturday. Seriously, they couldn't thank god more as it is the weekends where they're finally (temporarily) free from assignments.
So when the door finally opened, [Name] expected Kaveh to answer it.
Not the big, bulky, strong, big titty, gray haired senior they've been crushing on.
“ Kaveh's at his studio. Stop banging at the door already. ” Alhaitham stated, clearly annoyed by the endless amounts of continuous door knocking.
“ ... ” “ ... ”
“ OH- WAIT WHAT?!?! THAT LYING CUNT, HE PROMISED ME TO GO TO THE ARCADES TOGETHER TODAY. FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT. ” [Name] yelled, finally realizing what he said. Too busy to stare at his fat tits earlier.
“ I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO IT, THE FUCK. I EVEN DRESSED UP FOR THIS. ” More yapping came out of the [Hair Color]'s mouth.
“ Will you shut up already?! I didn't sign up for you yelling your lungs out. ” The [taller/shorter] male massaged his forehead in annoyance.
“ ... Fine! You're going with me in exchange of Kaveh. Go dress up!! I ain't taking you out looking like this. ”
“ .. Excuse me? ” “ BLAME KAVEH FOR THIS, NOT ME. I CLEARED MY SCHEDULE FOR THIS, MAN. ” “ Alright, fine. Jesus Christ. ”
Kaveh, I swear to god. If you come back, I'll throw your art to the trash compacter.
FONTAINE ARCADE PALACE
The sign glowed in bright blue, as the two main protagonists stand in front of it. From the looks of the building, it seems to have 5 stories, and each floors glowing with bright lights.
“ Holy crap. It's beautiful. ” [Name] remarked, amazed by the sights.
“ Who'd waste their money on some arcade instead of public libraries. ” “ Uhh, Fontaine Co’ . Obviously. ”
As the two entered the building, glowing arcade machines were placed everywhere, claw machines, Maroi Kart machines, Cap Man, and more. Heck, there's even custom trash cans and posters from multiple TV shows and games.
“ This is truly heaven. ” It was so beautiful, [Name] couldn't help but tear up. While the [taller/shorter] man just deadpans.
“ C'MON!! Let's go to the dispensing machine and exchange our money. WE NEED THEM COINS TO PLAY. ” The [Hair Color] exclaimed gleefully, taking the male's hand before running to the nearby dispensing machine.
It's gonna be a long ass day and we all are here for it.
The Pokachu Doll falling from the claw for the fourth time was the last straw for poor [Name]. As they finally screamed in annoyance.
“ ARGRHSGSHSGSKHS STUPID RIGGED CLAW MACHINE. GIVE ME THE POKACHU DOLL DAMMIT. ” [Name] shouted, almost punching the machine before realizing that they could get a fine for it AND get banned from Fontaine Arcade Palace. Before putting their fist down.
Seeing this is so funny even Alhaitham couldn't help but chuckle.
“ Let me try. ” He spoke, gently pushing the [taller/shorter] person aside. Finally putting 5 coins in the claw machine.
2 minutes haven't passed yet, but he somehow got the Pokachu Doll safe and sound.
At first try too.
This man is too dangerous to be left alive. (And a virgin).
As the Pokachu Doll came out of the claw machine, the male took it before giving it to the [Hair Color].
“ HOW- I THOUGHT YOU DON'T LIKE ARCADES?? WHAT. DID YOU USE SOME KIND OF SORCERY?!?!?! WTF. ” [Name] beamed, confused as hell.
“ It's easy. I just use my brain and some calculations here and there. How ‘bout you use your brain next time? ” The man mocked them, a slight smirk showed in his face.
“ FUCK YOU AND YOUR STUPID BRAIN. I CAN DO THIS BETTER THAN YOU. ” The [taller/shorter] person declared, “ Pfft. Yeah, we'll see. ”
[Name] lost by 21 dolls Alhaitham managed to fish out from the claw machine.
“ Oh, Five Nights at Friddy's. ” Alhaitham claimed, as he saw a FNAF game machine while trying to get more Fontaine coins.
“ The game? I know that. It's really hard- ” [Name] scratched their cheek, having a slight flashback of them falling off their chair while playing FNAF 2 at their lecture.
“ I love the part where we find out that the one we're playing all along ever since the first game is the son of William Efton, Michael Efton. ” The male stated, “ What ” [Name] questioned.
“ You didn't know? Some player you are. ” Alhaitham sighed, “ YOU- ” “ Basically, ever since the start of the game. We were playing as Michael Efton, we've both seen that we keep signing up as a night guard at the restaurants of William Efton. The story starts when William Efton had a restaurant with- ”
Oh, no.
He's rambling.
No....
HE'S LORE DUMPING.
“ Can we just get the coins an- ” “ Shh, shh. ” [Name] was shushed with Alhaitham shoving his finger inside their mouth, forcing them to listen.
Taking it out, the [Hair Color] couldn't help but blush a bit. “ I'M NOT A BABY WTF DON'T SHOVE A FINGER IN MY MOUTH. ”
“ It silenced you, though. ” [Name] was speechless upon that statement, now letting out stammers and stutters.
“ Now, where were we? Oh right, William's son, Evan, was severely terrified and had PTSD signs near his father's creations, the animatronics. His older brother, Michael, found out and took advantage of it and.. ”
[Name] got lore dumped by the very same person who they have a fat crush on in within 2 hours.
By the time night arrives, and the clock strikes 8 PM, the two finally decided it was time to call off the day.
“ You may have won our bet of the claw machines.. BUT I STILL WON A PAIR OF KEYCHAINS!! ” [Name] stated, refusing to admit defeat. “ Good for you. I still won, technically. ” “ Ugh.. ”
“ Should I give the cookie keychain to Kaveh as a souvenir? It looks like the type of thing he'd like. ” The [taller/shorter] person asked, “ Don't know. It's yours. ” The gray haired male replied.
“ .. I'll give it to you then! ” [Name] remarked, giving the male the cookie keychain, while keeping the milk keychain with them.
“ Huh? ” “ It's for you! To remember this date! Ehehe! ” The [Hair Color] smiled gleefully, as the man finally takes the keychain with him.
“ Plus, milk and cookies! It's a good pair of a late night snack! You know? ” [Name] added, as Alhaitham kept looking at the cookies keychain.
A small chuckle was heard as Alhaitham couldn't help but smile a little from this stupid action.
“ You're so childish it's stupid. ” “ WHAT- UGH, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, JUST GIVE IT TO KAVEH THEN! I'm going back to my dorm! ” [Name] grunted, stomping away angrily.
“ Hey! Did you tell [Name] that I was busy and I had sudden plans today? Where did you go anyways? ” Kaveh asked while the other male takes off his shoes at the porch of the door.
“ First question, yes. Second, I went to the arcade with them. ” Alhaitham replied calmly, “ WHAT?! AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?! PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU SAVED A SOUVENIR FOR ME. OR, MAYBE [NAME] DID?! ” The yellow haired man exclaimed.
“ They did. But I'm guessing they're still petty that you had sudden plans and didn't tell them directly, so, they gave it to me. ” “ WHAT!? Oh god... Fine, I'll apologize directly tomorrow. Just PLEASE give me the souvenir!! ” Kaveh begged.
“ Hmm, let me think. No. Will you let me go now? ” Alhaitham answered, finally going to his room.
“ UGH, FUCK YOU DAMMIT! YOU'RE THE WORST OF THE WORST! ” Kaveh's yappings slowly stopped as the gray haired male closed the door on him.
Looking at the time from his phone, a little Cookie Keychain was seen dangling at the bottom of his phone. Before finally deciding to get to bed right away after such a long day.
He could just do his assignments tomorrow at 5 AM anyways.

・﹒・ i'm just a warp pipe away [2]
Summary: You were a human who ended up going to the Mushroom Kingdom through a warp pipe and discovered that falling in love is possible, just not with who you think

▶ The kingdom was beautiful, to say the least, as you exited the castle. The Mushroom Kingdom was unlike anything you've ever seen but Kong Kingdom was one with nature
▶ Then he brought you to what looked like a go-kart but extremely modded and custom, something that never could exist in your world
▶ The kart was big, it needed to fit DK, but it was stunning. Blue and orange stripes and it had one of those side-cars you've seen with motorcycles
▶ "I originally had this added so Diddy Kong could ride with me…you don't know who he is that's right…well it doesn't matter!" He didn't show Diddy Kong the side-car yet so he wanted you to test it out first
▶ Getting in, he made sure you were in snuggly and safe before getting in himself
▶ Then he went at a moderate speed as he took through the kingdom, the sight of the village below took your breath away, noting how they are all huts above water with wooden paths
▶ You slightly stood up and gripped the front of the car as you watched the citizens live their daily life
▶ "You like it?" He had a smug face as you looked back at him, seeing as his expression softened
▶ "It's so beautiful….you must love nature huh?"
▶ DK claimed he never particularly care for nature as its his way of life, but you could tell he didn't like urbanism as he went on to gush about how much he loved his home
▶ Sure, it could be the fact that he's very prideful about his origins, but you suspect that he had a passion for the environment around him
▶As you rode into the village, you could see all the monkeys staring at you, waving and saying hello to DK in the process. They definitely were curious about you, another human from the Mushroom Kingdom
▶ DK said that Peach has visited a few times to establish ties and keep the two kingdoms in good spirits, but she wasn't seen by many
▶ After going through the kingdom, he veered off onto an unbeaten path before parking and getting out
▶ "Come on, I wanna show you something" he held his hand out as you stepped out and grasped it
▶ But you didn't let go- or rather he didn't want to you and gripped on tight as he hauled you into his arms, causing your face to feel extremely hot and eyes wide
▶ He said that since there aren't humans that ever use this path, its not fit for you and he doesn't want you to be in any danger
▶ With one arm, he held you, and the other he trekked on using it for support
▶ His fur was surprisingly soft, despite the heat- or because of the heat making you tired- you couldn't help but snuggle into him
▶ You didn't know when you fell asleep, but you woke up by DK shaking you and telling you to open your eyes
▶ So you did, and what you saw was even more beautiful than the kingdom himself
▶ It was sunset, on a cliff looking over at the ocean below. You were in a clearing of the trees and there were some yellow flowers around in bunches

Cupcake has a story and a half, it all started with a stupid suggestion in this video, which he took seriously. This man spent 2 months hunting for a shiny wooloo on route 1 of Sword and Shield, he did not play further than that point until he got his shiny wooloo in this video. I feel the need to emphasize this, he spent 50 hours and 11 streams hunting wooloo, killing just shy of 3 500 non-shinies all while not touching the rest of the game, and then when he caught one he named it cupcake and proceeded to beat the entire game with her.
Also not to brag. but I was there live when he found Cupcake - I even commented on it because he broke my bloody ears when it happened

CANON FACT TIME! (See fact 18 for the charisk)
This time I’m going to tell you all.. get this: 25 AZREMI FACTS!
Number 1: Azreal has a few custom sweaters based on their favourite shirt to wear whenever the shirt is dirty. They gave one to Emily because she really wanted one. Now sometimes they play something Co-op like Mario 3D world or cuphead as “sweater buddies”
Fact Number 2:Emily has met Azreal’s sister (who’s name is sarah) after everyone was freed. Emily told Sarah off for what she did to Azreal, and let’s just say: It worked and Azzy won’t have problems with his old family any time soon. (Note, I said any time SOON.)
Fact Number 3:Emily and Azreal always do their homework together. They get a plate of cookies and get to work.
Fact Number 4:Azreal and Emily sometimes fall asleep on the couch when watching a movie or playing a game, so Toriel or Asgore picks them up and TRIES to bring them to their beds, but they don’t let go of eachother, so Toriel or asgore end up just putting them both in Emily’s bed because it’s closer.
Fact Number 5:Azreal and Emily will match their Halloweeen costumes every time.
Fact Number 6:Scorch and Water put Azreal and Emily on their Tomodachi life and rigged it so they’d start dating

The Chrimer: 2016, GP3.
In 2016, Charles returns to ART Grand Prix as one of their GP3 drivers. This would be the first (and only) time he'd race under their name in single-seaters; previously, he had karted for the team in 2012 and 2013. It's a good team. By the time Charles joins the roster, they've come off of winning five teams' championships and three drivers' titles in just six seasons.
Their success isn't the only reason why this partnership is advantageous to Charles. It also puts him with some familiar faces.
ART GP was co-founded by two men that would be very integral to Charles' career: Nicholas Todt and Frederic Vasseur. Todt would be the manager that saved Charles' career in karts, and Vasseur would later be Charles' first F1 Team Principal.
In the press release, Charles says:
"I am delighted to be back with the big ART Grand Prix family after my karting seasons in 2012 and 2013. GP3 is a very competitive category and I will be in the best team in the championship. The atmosphere is good and everything everyone is working with a common goal: to win. I am excited about the car they have prepared for this season and I can't wait to start the championship. My objective is clearly to fight for the title."
GP3 would eventually be merged with the Formula 3 European Championship-- the category Charles had competed in the previous year-- to form present day F3. In 2016, however, GP3 was considered a minor step up from F3: the cars were a little faster, and the tires were a little more difficult to master.
Somehow, Charles' announcement that he would be graduating to GP3 with the top team wouldn't be his biggest press release of the week.
On March 1st, Ferrari formally announces Charles as the newest member of the Ferrari Drivers Academy. This had been rumored for months.
Ferrari goes a step farther by also announcing Charles as a Ferrari Development Driver and "on the books" of its F1 customer team Haas. The position with Ferrari would mean that Charles would be working on the Maranello simulators to test data for Vettel and Raikkonen, and the connection to Haas was rumored to be structured so that Charles could gain experience by driving in FP1 practices during the season.
At this point, Haas was the customer team closest to Ferrari; Sauber would not rebrand as Alfa Romero until late 2017.
Charles is the favorite going into the 2016 GP3 season, to the point where Motorsport.com titles their season preview "Can anyone stop Leclerc?":
“His karting record and early campaigns in single-seaters suggest Leclerc might be one of the biggest talents of his generation, but with that has come the burden of expectation. Still, early indications suggest he won't buckle and, if he doesn't, he might be unstoppable. [..] No wonder our entire panel picked him as the champion, Leclerc is the whole package - super fast, quick to adapt, consistent, strong racecraft. It might put too much pressure on him but not winning the title, which is as option in this field, would be a disappointment.”
Charles starts off his GP3 career dominant. He impresses in tests by going fastest:
Before the GP3 season starts, Charles gets his first taste of the future by testing a F1 car for the first time.
He drives a 2014-spec F14T at Fiorano with the goal of completing the 300km needed to be granted a free-practice-only super license. Charles is the first GP3 driver who tests that season.
The FIA super license is the qualification needed for a driver to compete in the F1 World Championship. In order to get a full one, a driver must (as of 2021):
Be at least 18 years old at the start of their first F1 competition
Already have an International Grade A competition license
Have a valid driving license
Pass an FIA test on the F1 sporting codes and regulations
Completed at least 80% of each of two full seasons of any of the approved single-seater Championships
Accumulated at least 40 points over the previous three seasons in those championships
Getting a full F1 super license is critical to Charles' hopes of bypassing F2 for F1 next season. He comes into this season with 17 super license points: 10 from finishing runner-up in the 2014 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps, and 7 from finishing fourth in the previous year's F3 European Championship. In GP3, 30 points are given to the winner and 20 to the runner-up; this means that anything less than first would eliminate his chance of jumping to F1 in 2017.
Charles would continue to excel through the end of the season. Unlike in F3, he would come out swinging and continue strong until the very last race. Charles wins the series opener in Barcelona; he goes from second row to leading the race by the first corner, and never looks back.
According to reports, Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene sneaks away to see Charles' first win as a member of his FDA.
Charles finds his only rival that season in a familiar face: Alex Albon, an old karting teammate and fellow member of the ART GP team. If you want in a more in-depth look into their relationship this season, you can read Part 2 of my Chalex primer.
It is important to note that Alex and Charles trade wins and share multiple 1-2s throughout the season, like so:
In June, Haas would officially announce Charles' first Grand Prix weekend as a test driver. He'd replace Esteban Guiterrez in five practice sessions throughout the season, starting in Silverstone.
Charles does well. He says to NBC Sports:
“It’s been an amazing experience for my first time in a Formula 1 car. I was struggling quite a lot at the beginning, as Silverstone is quite a hard track with lots of high-speed corners, and I found the steering wheel quite stiff in comparison to anything I’ve driven before. However, it was a great session and lap after lap I gained confidence. The last run was on old tires, so we couldn’t show our real pace, but I think we were quite fast. We completed the program and that was the main aim, so I’m happy with that. It was probably one of the best days of my life, and to do it with Haas has been even more amazing.”
Gunther Steiner, the Haas Team Principal, agrees:
“I found it quite good how calm he was about the whole thing, and we must never forget this is an 18-year-old kid in an F1 car - the fastest racecar in the world. I wasn't surprised by him, but I was impressed by him and what he did. [...] He was very professional, he did a good job, and he showed he can do it.”
Four days later, Ferrari brings Charles back to Silverstone to test in one of their cars. He describes the difference to Autosport.com:
"It's two different things. In FP1 with Haas that was mostly for the team because they had a weekend after, and I had to work for them and do as many kilometres for them as possible. With Ferrari it was a long day so we could plan it a bit better. Unfortunately we couldn't do many laps because of a little problem on the old power unit, but both experiences have been amazing. It's still good to get experience in two different Formula 1 cars. The more cars I try, and the different ways I see of working, the more experience I get."
It's very clear that Jules is on Charles' mind as he tests at Ferrari. He talks extensively to the press about his mentor:
“Jules advised me really well in the past, and all his comments he gave me in the past I keep in mind and try not to make the errors he told me not to do. [...] Jules was one of the talents who would have gone [to Ferrari] if the things that happened hadn't have happened.”
Jules' memory weighs heavy on him for that entire season.
Charles continues performing at a high-level both in GP3 and as a test driver: rumors for his next season remain abundant, especially as he stays at the top of the standings. One of the largest rumors is that Charles will bypass GP2 for an F1 seat with Haas the next year.
These hopes are soon dashed. In September, Gunther announces that they will not be signing Charles for 2017. He says:
“In the position we are in, he's too inexperienced. I wouldn't say too young, as Max Verstappen does a good job. We highly respect what Leclerc is doing in FP1, he was on the gain immediately. But what we need as a team is somebody who can score points. We need to train the team, we cannot train the driver. It [taking a rookie] is not an option at the moment, it's not a thing we want to do."
The comparisons with Max continue to loom over Charles, both in F1 and GP3. An F1 junior driving ranking says in the lead up to the final race:
“In an age in which every junior driver is seemingly being measured against Max Verstappen, Leclerc is one of the few who clearly compares favorably. His Euro F3 campaign in 2015 was in my view every bit as impressive as Max Verstappen’s the year before. In 2016, Leclerc stepped up to the considerably more powerful GP3 cars and generally looked strong since winning the first race of the season. He leads the championship going into the last race weekend and most importantly leads another Ferrari junior, Antonio Fuoco, who is now in his second year of GP3. While a Formula 1 seat cannot be out of the question, I expect Ferrari will promote Leclerc to GP2 next. They may still be wary after their previous top junior, Raffaele Marciello, struggled to continue his earlier junior successes in GP2.”
The final race weekend of GP3 ends up the most important: Charles and Alex go into Abu Dhabi each with the chance of claiming the Championship.
Alex says:
"I think Charles' gap is a bit big. In a way I don't have anything to lose, there is no real pressure or anything for me. It's just about doing my job doing the best that I can and let's just hope Charles has a bad weekend."
Neither of them actually finish the feature race. Alex– who had gotten pole position that weekend– hits Jack Aiken while fighting for the lead and has to retire. Charles doesn’t make it much longer in the race; he gets run off the track by Santino Ferrucci while fighting for third.
It doesn’t matter. With the way the points are, Charles wins from the sidelines.
He says:
“It was really strange to be champion and finish in the wall at the same time. When I heard on the radio we were already champions because Alex was out, then I took the risk. […] But it’s an amazing moment. So much dedication into this season - it’s amazing to finish on a high, on a low, but winning the championship.”
He also makes it clear that sometimes you can be a champion and still make time for drama:
“To be honest what Ferrucci did was completely stupid, I will have to go see him and talk to him. What he [Ferrucci] did already from the beginning of the race was really crazy, I already had problems [with him] this season and he kept going knowing I’m [competing for] a championship, which is really stupid.”
Charles finishes the season with 202 points to Alex’s 177. In December, it is announced that Charles will take Pierre’s-- who has just won GP2-- Prema spot.
And if ART GP is good, Prema is great. It sets Charles up for another banner year.

Only if it’s not too much trouble and if you feel like writing it: may I request something with either Tommy or Michael about a reader who’s hard of hearing/ deaf and they feel very insecure about it. Especially since people always get annoyed and impatient when reader doesn’t hear/ understand them properly? So maybe one day the reader just has enough and goes out to get drunk, trying to drown the feeling of helplessness they get in interactions with others? And Tommy or Michael gets worried because it’s already night and it’s not too safe anyway, so without hearing it’s even more dangerous out alone? I’ve been having a hard time coping with impatient customers and people because I can’t hear and everything’s stressful enough already because of my frail health and other issues… so now I need some serious angst and some comfort and sweet words.

i swear to god im going insane, if anyone ever happens to care about specifically the sugar rush speedway adaptations i'm making this post for them and also so i don't forget this stuff. also i just have the energy to write about the stuff today lol
Info may be incomplete because I wrote this at 2 am and set it to queue
Sugar Rush is one of the fictional games from the Disney movie Wreck-it Ralph. it's a kart racer game similar to Mario Kart, but with a sweets and candies theme. alongside other games like Fix-it Felix jr, Hero's Duty and Turbotime, this game had multiple game adaptations and related minigames. here im gonna talk about 3 adaptations: Sugar Rush Speedway, LEAP Motion Sugar Rush Speedway App and the "Baking" and "Racing" games from the Wreck-It Ralph Storybook Deluxe. i'll be ignoring the Sweet Climber minigame from the wreck it ralph app because its a simple endless jumping game.
ill try to go from my percieved idea of which one is more popular, in descending order.
Sugar Rush Speedway
if you remember having played a sugar rush game, it was probably this one. available as a browser game until it stopped being playable beyond the first map because of a game error and it was later removed somewhere in 2018.
can you still play this version of sugar rush? yeah...but not officially, it is available and fully playable on Bluemaxima's Flashpoint (god save flashpoint)
its got 4 cups, each cup being 1 track normally, in reverse and flipped. you go trough 3 laps in most of these.
it has all 10 sugar rush racers, plus you can unlock king candy trough the code KINGCANDY (wow, original) but it does not include vanellope or the recolors. there is also a lost japanese version whose only diference was that it replaced Minty Saki with Minty Sakura and the code to unlock King Candy was 7ELEVEN (lol). items work just like any common denominator kart racer, random items from an item box.
since this game was released very closely to the movie's release, some of the stuff is based on concept art and deviates from the game we see in the movie, also the graphics are a bit unpolished as it is expected for a browser game from that time, more info and images on the wiki.
Wreck-It Ralph Storybook Deluxe Games
the wreck it ralph storybook deluxe app was a paid app that, as it says, has the story of wreck it ralph in storybook form, alongside a game you can play. the app costed money and its been retired from both the play store and the app store.
is this version of sugar rush still playable? no. unless you have the app still installed on an old phone, i have the apk but it doesnt work on modern phones.
there are two "games" from the wreck it ralph storybook app, the Bake one, which corresponds to a simplified and less gimicky version of the bake-a-kart minigame, where you get to customize your kart. and the "Racing" game, which is, of course, a few sugar rush courses. 3 in this case, and 3 diferent difficulties as well.
unlike the other game, this one only has 4 of the sugar rush racers, but it also has vanellope, which automatically makes this the superiorest version of them all. in this version instead of random items you get character specific abilities.
LEAP Motion Sugar Rush Speedway
im kicking and biting and maiming and
the sugar rush speedway app for leap motion it's a purchasble app from the leap motion store, while its meant to be used with a leap motion device that tracks your hand movement it can be played without, its the same game as the browser sugar rush speedway with a few key changes: the races are only one lap, the graphics have been enhanced, and it had a bake-a-kart mode more similar to that in the movie.
is this version of sugar rush still playable? hell no, unless you had it installed previous to the shut down of the leap store.
some other changes are that king candy is no longer playable and one of the items is missing, i've only found 6 videos on youtube and a few screenshots of the game, more images and info on the wiki.
while some of the game content is out there and someone probably still has a copy, at least in my opinion, the playable game could be considered partially lost media,

Multiple KH Characters and Their Favorite Video Games!
Destiny Island Trio:
Sora: Fighting games- preferably Smash. He mains himself main characters (Mario, Link, Kirby, FE protags). He sucks. He is the guy who button mashes and corners players to beat the hell out of them.
Riku: Fighting games- preferably Tekken or Street Fighter. Mains Jin or Lee. Attempts to be strategic but gets way too competitive fast and is busy mashing all the buttons off the controller.
Kairi: Way too good at fighting games. But she’d probably play lots of Pokemon or monster collecting games. She has many setups that are both competitive or just fun ones for a fun challenge.
Sea Salt Family:
Roxas: Persona fanboy. He hasn’t played 1-2 but he can’t pick a favorite between 3-5. Plays all the spinoffs or has someone else play them for him. His favorite characters are the protagonists. Hears jazz music and assumes this is a Persona 5 reference.
Xion: Resident DMC and Souls-like player. Girl is a monster on the controllers despite being just being born. The way she can effortlessly combo and dodge all attacks makes her a fearsome opponent.
Axel: Mario Kart. Axel is pretty average at video games (unless they’re like, retro or arcade) but Mario Kart? He’s on it like Donkey Kong. He mains Funky Kong.
Saix: He has two wolves inside him- the logical gamer and the second, more absurd gamer. Sometimes he wants to unwind, so he might pick up a basic platformer like Mario or Sonic, but on the other side- he’s a menace in a Warriors game. He’s hacking and slashing. He’s killing everyone in his path. Also, he’s a completionist. He has to get the best markings and everything. Won’t settle for less.
Wayfinder Trio:
Terra: Minecraft and fighting games. He tries his best lmao. He’s just got pretty big hands so often he messes up with combos but he’s also pretty impatient and tends to spam certain moves.
Aqua: Rhythm games definitely. Watch her effortlessly get all perfect scores in one try. Even the hardest OSU! map has nothing on Aqua. She also kicks ass at fighting games.
Ventus: He likes Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario Party. He always loses at almost any game against his friends though.
Bonus Characters:
Namine: I feel like she enjoys visual novels and Okami. She really loves aesthetic games and is a patient player.
Xemnas: does not play video games beyond Candy Crush or Solitaire. You kids and your “Splatoons” or “Bayonettas”, go pick up an old Final Fantasy game smh.
Xigbar: Call of Duty. Fortnite. PUBG. Overwatch. He’s a menace and plays all sorts of FPS games. His sniping abilities IRL translate very well into games. Also likes the Hitman games.
Vexen: Bookworm and civilization manager games. He’s big on Age of Empires and is a top talent within the community. He loves playing as the Vikings or Mayans for competitive play. He’s also made many custom maps.
Zexion: Tower Defense managers and Ace Attorney. He loves deducing the crime or finding the best way to defend his base with the minimum amount of units possible.
Xaldin: He doesn’t play games (lie). He plays romantic visual novels. Plays all kinds of them. Otomes too. He is a lonely man. Also loves cooking games.
Lexaeus: farming games. He just has a fun time playing Story of Seasons. Rune Factory is nice too but he prefers SoS because he loves the farming aspect more.
Demyx: Guitar Hero. No argument. This man did all the crazy achievements and was going at it for days.
Luxord: Yeah yeah solitaire and gambling- have you considered he loves playing the Yakuza games? Well now you do. He loves the games dearly and cherishes them and likes to be the biggest Yakuza on the block. Also yeah, he plays lot of gacha games.
Marluxia: Doesn’t really play video games, but he’d most likely play some horror games with Larxene or town management games.
Larxene: Horror games or multiplayer games where she can troll people. Banned from multiple servers and people refuse to play with her minus Marluxia. Aesthetically though she loves Trish from DMC and thinks Vergil is number one.

The Schumacher Dragon: Michael
In August 2009, when Michael was working towards a comeback, it was reported in a Chinese newspaper that he had ordered 3 "Chinese style" helmets. The article reported that Michael had said, "When I first went to China, a newspaper drew a dragon as my symbol." Later that year, he also spoke about this helmet in the lead up to ROC, which was held in Beijing that year.
However, the first glimpse of the dragon logo appears to have been in July 2004. At the German GP, Michael was seen with a temporary tattoo on his right forearm with the logo.
He would win the 2004 WDC two races later, at Spa. Following that at the Italian GP in Monza, the dragon would appear as a logo for the first time, on the back of his baseball cap.
The week after that marked the occasion of the first Chinese GP in Shanghai. It was here that the dragon logo would appear on his helmet for the first time. It appeared on the top of the helmet, temporarily replacing his seven stars, as well as on either side of the helmet.
This initial iteration of the dragon logo had, in addition to the large “力”, the character for “strength”, it also includes four characters - "迈舒马赫", which roughly translates to "Mike Schumacher". This would later be removed.
The dragon would not be seen on his helmet throughout 2005, but Michael continued using it on his personal merchandise. It featured both on the back of his cap, and also on his drivers shoes.
This continued into 2006, where it again featured on his caps.
However, Michael also opted to subtly incorporate the dragon back into his helmet design for 2006. This new design featured two large dragons, as well as the names of his family in Chinese (Mick “米克” and Michael “米克尔” on the right, and Gina “吉娜” and Corinna “科琳娜” on the left).
A special version of this helmet was commissioned for his final race for Ferrari, and to mark his first retirement, this time with the dragon and his family’s names featured in gold. It also included a list of his race victories around the top of the helmet.
During his retirement in 2007-2008, Michael was still frequently seen around the track in his new capacity as an adviser to Ferrari. He continued featuring the dragon as part of his personal branding.
Michael also tested for Ferrari during both seasons to help with development. During at least one of these testing sessions, Ferrari had it placed on the engine cover.
As mentioned earlier, Michael was planning a return to F1 in 2009 to replace the injured Felipe Massa, though that was ultimately called off due to a neck injury suffered earlier that year. However, pictures from when he was karting in August 2009 showed the “Chinese style” helmet he had planned to use. It was very similar to the helmet design he last used in 2006, but with details in white instead.
Michael made a return to F1 with Mercedes, driving with them from 2010 to 2012. He used pretty much the same helmet design throughout this time, with 2010 featuring the more subtle red version of the helmet:

2011 was also Michael’s 20th year in F1. For this, a specially designed gold-plated helmet was commissioned and used at the Belgian GP.
He returned to the silver dragon for the rest of his time in F1, with the exception of one more custom helmet made to commemorate his 300th F1 race at the Belgian GP in 2012:
Michael also continued to feature the dragon on both his shoes and gloves, seen here in 2010 and 2011:
You’ll notice that for a brief period of time, Michael went back to the original iteration of the logo featuring the additional four Chinese characters, "迈舒马赫", translating to his name.
Although Michael retired at the end of the 2012 season, that was not yet the end of the dragon in motorsport. Michael used it one last time on his race suit at the Race of Champions in 2012, which he and Sebastian Vettel won for Team Germany.

- logan letting baby girl “do his makeup” (he looks a bit like a circus clown at the end of it)
- (angsty lol) logan not knowing what to do when baby girl just wants mummy but she’s on a night out or smn so he’s near tears trying to figure out what to do for his baby
- jv.f1 buying baby girl one of those kiddie f1 cars and at races which are close to mum and baby’s home, u r very likely to see baby being pushed by one mechanic or another in her wee race car
- (have we just decided logan’s a girl dad cause low-key i can also see him being a really good boy dad)
- logan getting really protective over his baby if she was being bullied at school, like literally STORMING into the principals office absolutely FUMINGGG
- logan, jv.f1, oscar, liam, alex, dalton, and mum all cheering for baby girl when she enters her first go kart race
- even if she doesn’t get on the podium, they have their own celebration at home, complete w rose water champagne bottle popping and one of logan’s old f3 or f2 trophies (they duct tape over his first name and write hers) (do the trophy recipients get their names engraved?)
- logan taking her tiny hand in his to get a handprint for his helmet, she doesn’t like it cause now her hand is all inky and log has to rush after pressing her hand on the blank paper to wash it off before she cries

TODAYS THE NINTENDO SWITCHS BIRTHDAY????? SEVENTH BIRTHDAY?????
i love this console i love the nintendo switch i love it so much. yeah i wish it had more whimsy and customization in the menus but i like how its very organized and easy to understand. and my goodness does that whimsy go right back into the games bcuz i think we're living in the best nintendo era right now actually
we got almost the entire 3d mario series and the amazing mario odyssey. super mario rpg remake. upcoming paper mario ttyd remake. soon enough a new princess peach game and luigi's mansion 2. mario kart with like almost 100 courses. breath of the wild (WHICH ALSO HAS ITS BIRTHDAY TODAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOTW!!) tears of the kingdom skyward sword links awakening. we got amazing pokemon games that i love so much legends arceus is one of my favorite games and i love sv so much and i find bdsp very charming and we're getting legends z-a next year. we have two perfectly parallel fire emblem games that are so amazing and wonderful. we got 3d kirby and return to dreamland and a kirby game with like almost every major kirby character playable. we got the entire pikmin series we got splatoon games we got the entire xenoblade series we got animal crossing we got persona 3 4 and 5 we got miitopia we got sooooo much other stuff
and we can play all this Anywhere or on a tv or detatch our joycons and play it like the wii whatever we wanna do we can do whatever we want i love it its so good
i love the nintendo switch so much. i honestly think it may be my favorite video game console (i say as someone whos favorite games ever are pokemon black/white and fire emblem awakening so the 3ds is giving a REALLY good competition)
like honestly im running out of things to Want. like another fire emblem would be nice. maybe some info on the next kirby game. maybe a more traditional animal crossing or a port of new leaf. maybe a smash game with trophies and side content or just port brawl i love brawl. and then just keep adding gamecube games like they did with pikmin 1/2 and metroid prime and ttyd. but like yeah at this point im just kinda going with the flow of whatever nintendo wants to do im loving it
i love this console i love the story of nintendo rising from the ashes of the wii u i love how much happiness it brings me i love how much happiness it brings others i love how it has something for everyone i love how it can be played in so many different ways
the nintendo switch has brought me so much happiness and countless memories. i dont really want a sequel they can just keep adding onto it for 20 more years and ill love life.
