Propaganda : decked out is not only an incredible build on the OUTSIDE, with a great colour scheme and a lot of detail, it's also a hugely important build for the season in general - being the place most people would hang out for the last few months of the server - and importantly a redstone MASTERPIECE. how did this man create literally an entire game with a point buy system and effect cards and randomised threats in minecraft?! like this is vanilla. i think the only mod used was for the disc system and even then he was ready to run that without mods. on so many levels this is such a fantastic build.

The Winter Cabin

Builder : Technoblade and Philza

Propaganda : techno and phil's cabins are THE build they're what minecraft is to me maybe not impressive or huge. they use common materials. there's no redstone mechanics. but they're what minecraft is about: making a place yours. making something with your friend. genuinely the most meaningful build in my opinion because it was simple and cozy and made sense for these characters! the stable with carl right in front. the dog house. the soft glow of the beacon. the fact their cabins are connected. similar but not the same. that's my propaganda op. that these cabins sum up what makes minecraft so lovely. and are a great memory for techno. | It's cozy and safe. The perfect hideaway for anyone looking to plan revenge and hold political book clubs. Includes three main houses and a giant training area. It has many adorable animals, including Steve. A polar bear.

pov i revive an old project from 2021 because i watched one sorry boys video

this is the 'rustout au', its a combination of TWD, fallout 4, and rust but i shoved silly block men (and ted nivison) in it. essentially its a zombie apocalypse au that takes place at some time in the 80s or 90s following a nuclear fallout that occurred due to undisclosed government activities with foreign global superpowers. none of the normal civilians really know why the nukes went off and only a few of the most wealthy in the community really were able to get down to the bunkers in time

there are a ton of characters i want to include in this au, but considering i made this in the peak of the dsmp fandom i have to be kinda careful to not pick out any ccs who are still a part of dream's posse.. :pensive:

so far, the other characters in this au who aren't displayed here are fundy, techno, philza, bizly, grizly, condi, connor, jack, eret, and a few others i cant think of rn >_<

some character information below ^-^

WILBUR G. SOOT - the widowed father to fundy. wilbur lived in a house in a suburban neighborhood with his teen aged son before the nukes went off. once the initial fallout occurred, will and fundy had an argument about where they should shelter. the day after the argument, wilbur awoke to find fundy had completely disappeared. grief stricken at the loss of another family member (under the impression that he was the reason fundy had 'ran off'), wilbur risked his safety to search for his son, traveling from settlement to settlement. he hated himself and blamed himself for his son's disappearance. by this point, he wanted to lie in the dirt and rot with the corpse of the land below him

TOMMY ZA - the adoptive son of phil, a single child. tommy was at school during the blasts, thus he was separated from his father. he and the rest of his school were ushered to the basement following the explosions to protect them from fallout. when given the all clear, tommy ran down barren streets to find his way home, and never did. too frantic and unable to navigate his way properly, he became stranded and lost. the crushing anxiety of being alone seemed to summon a taller man with a guitar case from a local town. he had found himself wandering into tommy's neighborhood. and therein, an alliance was formed.

"RANBOO" - ranboo is a mysterious creature who doesn't really appreciate questions about his history. tommy and wilbur found him a month or two into constructing their own settlement. ranboo was found uncomfortably asleep in a cramped car not far off from Dome. he was rudely awakened with a violent mugging from tommy. wilbur caught up to the shorter brit and apologized for his actions, suggesting that ranboo could stay at their camp as compensation for the troubles that tommy had brought to ranboo. ranboo reluctantly agreed and now is a part of the dome's settlement. tommy speculates ranboo is secretly a mentally mutated creature-freak-thing and must be put down immediately, ranboo just wants to eat dinner in peace.

CHARLIE SICKLE - charlie is the latest member to join the settlement. the former front man for the hit pop group Roll With You. during an england tour, the nukes went off and front man charlie had been stranded during his burger lunch break. separated from the rest of his band mates. charlie has faced deterioration in his mental state due to the stress of surviving during such a gruesome time period. by the time wilbur finds himself at the receiving end of charlie's gun, he is already unhinged. wilbur manages to talk charlie into submission carefully, and decides to see if he can form a fragile alliance with charlie for some sort of twisted protection. charlie agrees, as he is so *sick* of being alone. charlie simply insists he is just a silly billy, everybody else thinks hes clinically insane

DOME- dome is a passive settlement founded by wilbur soot to bring in local survivors and give them a small and safe community to rebuild humanity. although this is a large goal in such a hostile and dangerous situation, tommy gives wilbur hope to keep going. who knows, maybe while scouting for survivors, they could stumble across phil or fundy

TED - ted is a serial killer, plain and simple. hired by schlatt to be a bodyguard after the fallout, ted had escaped his cinder block hell to essentially be a guard dog thanks to the nukes. it turns out prisons arent explosion-proof. ted is silent, he doesnt speak much, but he has a clear cut focus on what he wants. when he does speak, he talks clearly and normally. mostly, about his travels with his good buddy 'eddie nine pins', whom he apparently did everything with before getting caught

J. SCHLATT - schlatt is a larger than life business mogul, the ceo of a handful of companies that produce clothes, products, music, etc. hes an incredibly creative and intuitive man who knows how to get what he wants. he is the forefront leader of his settlement in the bunker. schlatt is falsely married to quackity, both of them agreeing to commit marriage fraud when they initially entered the world of entrepreneurship as it looks better and improves both of their charisma in social situations. their 'marriage' is entirely superficial and loveless, purely for aesthetics

A. QUACKITY - you might say quackity is a strange last name, he'd tell you to mind your own business and call you poor in two different languages. quackity runs a small 'medicine' dealing business on the surface. in exchange for fancy goods and food, quackity will give out medicine to needy survivors with no real idea of what any of it does. indirectly, quackity has killed 15+ people with his medication and harmed countless others. he doesnt feel bad, as long as he gets something out of it. he's been spoiled by his previously lavish life and just can't stand to let it all go

TOBY "TUBBO" SCHLATT - tubbo is the adoptive son of schlatt. while schlatt opted to adopt tubbo purely for aesthetics, just as he did with his marriage, he ended up getting somewhat attached to the little guy (and so did quackity). adopted at the age of 13, tubbo was quickly exposed to the inside mechanisms of business, the lying and cheating that goes on behind the retina and he has no interest in becoming a mogul like his father. rather, he opts for weapon studies and collecting a massive arsenal of different types of guns and bombs. tubbo sees the fallout as more of a playground than anything, being able to collect and test as many 'toys' as he wants. tubbo and tommy have crossed paths on several occasions, wherein they both will have a bit of a scuffle until theyre tired, then sit and talk. they consider each other friends, and neither of them know of the conflict between schlatt and wilbur

THE BUNKER - the bunker was once a safe haven for the one percent in england, but only a week into shelter, everybody was slaughtered. quackity and schlatt performed a hostile takeover of the bunker for no greater reason than the fact they wanted more space and more liberties. theyve now claimed the entire bunker as their home, and they want to see how far they can expand their power and control.

I've seen people say you can't compare the QSMP to the DSMP because they're both completely different servers with different starts.

The thing is you can compare them. Not the stories told themselves because of course they're going to be different as they're 2 servers with different starts with 2 nearly completely different sets of people.

You can compare the treatment of the creators by the fandom, players (other cc on the server) and admins though.

Foolish for example. He made SO many amazing high quality builds to use and be shown to people. Ranboo and Tubbo had him build a giant mansion for them to live in! Yet it was entered maybe once after being finished. Foolish was able to use his builds for his own lore maybe once. Only a few people like Bad really acknowledged them by messing around in the area of them or adding something easy to get rid of to them as jokes.

Bad's treatment on the DSMP was frustrating to watch. He was the butt of the joke every time he was around. People would constantly swear on his streams because it was so funny for them! They constantly destroyed his and Skeppy's house and griefed the front of it. No one other than his friends really listened to him about things. And the egg arc was supposed to be something that was a massive danger to the server! But how does the server and fandom not directly involved treat it? Like a joke. Bad and his friends clearly worked really hard on this arc to include more than just the 'main characters' and their small circle, yet it was brushed off as if nothing by the players and fandom, treated like it was stupid.

Quackity's lore just kinda- happened. There isn't much I can say as I don't remember a lot of it tbh which isn't a great sign.

Philza and Wilbur probably got the better end of the stick for lore due to being connected to the main lorr, but it still wasn't great for them either.

A lot of CCs not on the QSMP have mentioned how the communication for the server was terrible too. At the start of lore on the DSMP, it made sense as they were purely doing improve so there wasn't really anyone to run things through. But the fact the issue was bad the entire time made the CCs on the server feel ignored and not want to play on it.

It was rare for people to interact with others outside their already established circles unless they're friends outside the server.

Now with the QSMP

Foolish has built multiple things on the server and has been acknowledged by everyone at this point. Bad might mess with them a lot still and encourage others to join him but you can tell the respect people still have for each one. Vagetta wants a version of the statue Foolish built him on other servers. People and fandom admire his builds and always make sure that if there's any damage to it, it's easily undone. Cellbit has made the castle Foolish built him his home the moment it was finished, he's been using it since. He paid him fully and made sure he was fully supplied and had company while building, staying on for hours to talk to him as he built.

Bad is respected by everyone on the server. He's taken seriously by everyone. Everyone trusts him with their kid's lives. Phil asks Bad to babysit Tallulah and Chayanne if he can't. The french trust Bad more than anyone outside their language group. Forever trusts Bad the most on the server other than Baghera. If someone needs something they'll go to him. All the eggs love him and so does the fandom. He's part of the joke instead of the butt of it. He can laugh along with the jokes made, even ones directed at him. When people swear on his streams and he languages them, they immediately apologize and switch to one of Bad's replacements (fudge being the main one) and no one makes fun of it either! They don't start swearing relentlessly at him to annoy him.

Even though Quackity doesn't show up often, when he does people are happy to interact with him and update him on what's happened if he wants it.

People can be off the server for weeks without being isolated because they're not keeping up with major lore, especially as people are happy to update anyone on anything they want to know. Hell people can be on a lot without being involved in lore but still be included as much as anyone else! As soon as there's a threat to the eggs or a new way to protect them, it spreads to everyone like wildfire and everyone's taken it on within a week.

The new arrivals are always welcomed by the islanders already there. They support them and treat with the same respect they do with everyone else. They merge with everyone else nearly immediately and become part of the community without hesitation.

The communication with the admins is clearly amazing too. Philza has pointed out how appreciated he feels compared to other servers. When an egg dies unfairly they're quick to get back to them within hours. If there's a general issues they're quick to get back to them and fix things. People are allowed to have their own stories alongside the main one. Events are planned and discussed so everyones aware before it happens. Anyone who wants to take part is welcome to if it's a big thing due to how open they usually are (rescuing Cellbit and Felps, travelling to Bobby's death site, etc). Thinfs are adapted and changed when needed and all CCs are in the loop.

Being able to watch the QSMP and not feel like any POV I watch is being mistreated or ignored is great. I couldn't watch anything but lore streams with the DSMP because Bad was my main POV and it made me so uncomfortable to watch him being made fun of constantly and be treated as a joke.

The QSMP feels like a community of people, instead of factions trying to go against each other. DSMP was my first and only smp experience and while it was great at first, it quickly soured. The QSMP treats it's CCs and fandom as if they genuinely matter, making sure everyone is welcomed and no one is isolated.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I began this bookbind before February and was well on the way to completing this (actually my second try, more on that later) when the whole abuse situation with Wilbur and Shelby became known. I was incensed, but channeled that anger into finishing this project out of pure spite.

This man will not destroy the love I have for this fic and the passion poured into it by both the fic author, fanartist, and me.

I rarely get engaged with the goings-on in the QSMP, and even then it's mostly towards my blorbos Philza and Missa (see my previous ficbinds). But Quackbur or TNTDuo has a certain small spot in my heart due to their tension and chemistry within the Dream SMP, and it was through that which I found this delightful number of a fanfic.

Before anything else by anotperegrine is a DSMP + QSMP fanfic where Quackity from Las Nevadas wakes up in a different world, where wars did not happen and a familiar face has a child. Cue extrapolation, angst, and a yearning for something he thought he could never have.

This fanfic is a sewn-board bind with inter-layered color papers (printed with black designs or title belts) glued on top of each other to make the covers. But it wasn't meant to be this way.

I had actually tried to make a 'first edition' of this bind, so to speak. It was supposed to be a bradel bind with a similar cover design. Unfortunately; (1) I did not measure the back cover properly, which (2) led to rough adjustments, which (3) led to improper casing, which (4) led to scrunched endpapers, which (5) applied pressure which distorted the text block, which then (6) forced open the front cover... it was a mess.

Also, I did not anticipate a gap between the top/bottom covers which became noticeable when I glued the middle strip. Ooops.

Hence, a 'second edition' redo.

The second try went much better, and I even made a successful experiment! Up till now, I have used tissue paper to strengthen the spines of my binds. After consulting some people over in the Renegade Publishing discord I decided to take a chance and applied an altogether different material: medical gauze.

Surprisingly, it worked! After gluing, the spine became stiff yet opens with a flexibility that exceeds using normal tissue paper. I'm definitely using gauze for my future binds!

Favorite depiction of techno and phil's friendship is them as adoption duo - phil will adopt every child that even looks at him just slightly sad and techno will adopt any animal that comes within a 10m radius of him and they raise them together as weird queerplatonic coparents. They go their sepatate ways for the day to do their own thing and arrive back home in the evening at the same time. Stand-off in front of the door.

A closer look at panel 3 of my gift for the mcytblrholidayexchange!

This is my favorite of the three panels!! Love getting to mess around with outfits for the emperors and I'd actually never drawn AE!Philza before this!!

Long haired techno and short haired philza as an illustration of their opposing strategies in AE my beloved.... + long haired philza and short haired Techno in DSMP to show how their experiences since changed them...

Some fun details!! Techno has the blood god symbol on his cloak clasp and the symbol I use to represent sounder (Hooves around a heart) as his cravat clasp. He also has an earring where I draw the tear in his ear in my dsmp design. His crown is the AE symbol with two upside-down hearts. The upside-down hearts are used in techno's design to represent pig snouts while still tying him to the hardcore hearts used in Philza's design! (Also I forgot to mention Techno's ace ring in the last one so shoutout to that). Techno and Phil have the same layers to their ae design, except Techno's corset continues into sashes and starts behind the belt and Phil's doesn't so it's tucked in front of the first layer of his belt. Philza has boots with a heart and wing design that mirrors the AE symbol and wing design on his crown. Also! I sometimes model the AE sun more off of the Macedonian star than the flag, although I didn't in this piece.

i've been wondering what's the clothes layering situation of your c!philza design (dsmp and or hardcore, i see you kinda have different designs for them!). like i can kinda understand what's going on but just to be sure. for possible cosplay purposes...

Here's a poorly drawn guide of it lmao :D

The progression of his hardcore design is shown in the creature pmv if you want to check it out! It's got more layers but the material is thinner and looser to keep air circulating, while also keeping him from getting burnt in places like the nether (plus stuff like the undershirt having a buckle so he can put it on by putting his feet through and pulling it up to his chest, then stretching the top part over his head and clasping at the neck. The shirt is like a button shirt type thing, so he can put it under his wigs then shrug it onto his shoulders, then pin it down by the waist. The poncho has wide slits at the back where the wings can slip through.)

For the dsmp design it's pretty new but simpler. The sweater underneath is thick and pretty fitted, and then the 3/4 sleeved shirt goes overtop. The reason why there's a v shaped cut at the back and the strings at the front was because this shirt was from before he lost his wings (the sweater was made after), and then the scarf from Kristin. There are these wrapping type things on his lower arm to wrists which I got inspiration from bird gloves, archery arm guards, and compression gloves haha. They're pretty tight and wrap up until his palm

It makes so much sense. How did I not see it. I even thought how strange it was that Quackity went back to reply to wills tweet pic of the capybaras. It was in front of my face.

But it makes sense. Realizing right now why Quackity did it this weekend. BBH and Philza are gone. And no, I don't mean he wanted to spare those egg. He doesn't care about that.

BBH and Phil have seen this story. They'd know "wilbur" was a metaphor for the tnt. They witnessed wilbur do it.

Wilbur was there.... and at those coordinates. And Quackity knew Phil and Bad would have figured it out.

No one else on that server was in dsmp (Charlie was but only streamed it like 2x and just messed around on other streams).

How did I miss that....

Comin' Down Is The Hardest Thing

Okay so shapeshifting into The Crow was objectively a bad idea, but on the other hand, he got to literally wear a mask in public and nobody was saying his real name. He could mess up, and it was like a whole different guy had messed up! Social anxiety life hack, simply do not be yourself when you make mistakes and then you won’t make mistakes. Technoblade had even spent a couple evenings at home in the shapeshift, eating everything in his fridge, and the wounds he’d presented with had slowly closed up. He’d washed the blood out of the suit too. His bathtub had looked like someone had died. The Winter Cabin

Propaganda : techno and phil's cabins are THE build they're what minecraft is to me maybe not impressive or huge. they use common materials. there's no redstone mechanics. but they're what minecraft is about: making a place yours. making something with your friend. genuinely the most meaningful build in my opinion because it was simple and cozy and made sense for these characters! the stable with carl right in front. the dog house. the soft glow of the beacon. the fact their cabins are connected. similar but not the same. that's my propaganda op. that these cabins sum up what makes minecraft so lovely. and are a great memory for techno. | It's cozy and safe. The perfect hideaway for anyone looking to plan revenge and hold political book clubs. Includes three main houses and a giant training area. It has many adorable animals, including Steve. A polar bear.

this isn't a plural culture is but think it's important, (probably long and kinda vent-y but I think this will put into perspective how some people struggle with doubles and being unable to interact because that was a boundary for the other party)

If you can't handle at least being in a room with 60 different versions of yourself(like we have to and need to- since we don't have a choice in our high numbers "6 different techno, tommy, wilbur, philza superpower au introjects in two days on top of the previous double digit numbers of guys who are sourced from versions/interpretations of them")- not in the "exact down to core you" way but in the "several of these guys are different genders, transitioned medically or cis, has had entirely different disablities, are entirely different speices and whatnot than me, have 6 different outfit things(can be as small as a necklace), has been married/dating x and y in source or sys, these are more like if I got aued into an entirely different character and they are Nothing Like Me" I'm sorry but you're just uncomfortable by the fact they were vaguely considered you at some point. NOT that they ARE a version of you.

it's like this case of a dsmp tommy fickin on quotev who's blocking LITERALLY PEOPLE WITH THEMED TOMMY ACCOUNTS OR THE NAME TOMMY WHO AREN'T EVEN INTROJECTS OR KINNERS(??) going "doubles dni" man we're a SYSTEM NO ONE HERE IS GONNA BE THE EXACT SAME BECAUSE ONE EVENT COULD'VE BEEN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THAN CANON AND THAT IS ENOUGH TO TREAT THEM AS THEIR OWN PERSON!!! DO NOT "doubles dni" and "people named tommy dni" THEM JUST BECAUSE THEY ONCE HAD THE SAME NAME OR FACE AS YOU BUT ARE THEIR OWN PERSON WHO DOES/DOESN'T IDENTIFY WITH THEIR SOURCE NOW AND HAVE THEIR OWN NAME THAT ISN'T FUCKING TOMMY!!!!!

(sorry I just, NEEDED someone to see/hear this because it's extremely frustrating to hear "doubles dni" after so long especially when no one in our system can do so, we can't control when some get new sources or when we mass introject multiple versions of certain people, unless you're a double down to EVERY BIT of your version(which is HARD to do and NEAR IMPOSSIBLE unless you've got nothing besides canon and have not deviated any which means exploring as a person and having relationships platonic, familial or otherwise in and out of your system) you're NEVER a double, and it's extremely better to view it as a different person who was in your shoes. It's extremely frustrating because we can't control it and no matter what we have to interact with doubles no matter what. None of us can do any sort of doubles dni because that means cutting off IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION within the system and many people being unable to front because the front room introject is easiest to split from: thus any "failed splits" became sources- so they're gaining MANY SOURCES of other versions of other alters.)
