I was tagged to do this by @dandylion240, @eljeebee and @bagesims; thank you all for thinking of me.
I did this for my current main characters (yes, I know we hardly see Sarah, but I still think of her as part of the main crowd).
I consider them all around average height (by Western Europe - or the tall Dutch - standards), but with slight differences. Since I consider James to be on the tall side, I figured Sarah (twin sister) would be too. Jill is the shortest; she's my height. Her brother, Finn, is the shortest of the boys. Seth always seems tall to me, so I wanted this chart to reflect that, too.
I won't tag anyone, since I'm already late to this party. But if you want to do it, the link to the website is here.
Barenaked Ladies are one of my Canadian friend's faves so it's one of the first ones I think of with Canada. but I agree on Three Days Grace and Metric too they have bangers
Ah yeah yeah I should've said /j after it I'm so sorry- I jab at like half the Canadian bands out there that are just like. You can literally trace them back to older Canadian bands in a way? It's actually kind of a neat spiderweb of things with Canadian bands because you hear newer bands and you're like "Ah I know what you listened to and liked" that can be traced to what feels like 5 bands (I can't name them but they stem from them and one of them is the Tragically Hip). And through that you can find other bands (of varying quality). Like Barenaked Ladies is kind of a more 00s pop version of The Tragically Hip (although they became more popular internationally than Tragically Hip, I think mainly through the One Week song and the (unfortunately) Big Bang Theory theme song, which is probably why they weren't on the list because they're too popular for that reason?), and also Saga (and Triumph too in a way) is like an 80s pop version of Rush. Although Sum 41 is like the Canadian version of Blink 182.
I mean TDG was probably not on there for the same reason as Barenaked Ladies not being on the list as they're a bit too popular internationally (I prefer TDG and yeah they have bangers). But also I figured Metric (female lead singer rock band) would be on there, although they had a song in the Scott Pilgrim film. Alexisonfire was also not on there although City and Colour (one of the band's singer's solo projects) got quite popular.
I'm glad that your friend's fave band isn't remembered solely for that BBT intro theme and that they also have One Week. I think Weird Al did a parody of that one so maybe that's why they weren't included either...
Followers from slovenia portugal and germany how is the social culture around trans people where you live? And if you know, how easy would it be to get prescriptions transfered from overseas?
After speaking to one of my relatives from europe over christmas/hanukkah this year im uh,, seriously considering a major life change. Theres nothing really for what i want to do where i am and with what i have but if i could get into one of the grad schools that accepts foreigners for free overseas and get my masters and potentially a phd i could have a REAL shot at my more ambitious dreams
And like,, im 24 years old with no dependents. Whats stopping me? It would be a hell of a lot of work balancing going back to school and supporting myself independently in a foreign country but hey, i basically did that for my undergrad and i was fine. I got honours with distinction! I can do it again!
