Full Of Grace

Morticia’s mouth grows dry as she walks through the dimly lit hallways, moving slowly despite the underlying excitement about being alone with Principal Weems. Larissa isn’t going to be happy with her, which is intriguing, but there’s also still a part of Morticia that wishes to please her former teacher and it makes her gut pinch to know that she has upset her.

No matter how slowly she walks, though, Morticia realizes that she will soon run out of hallway and be forced to walk through those double doors like she always did after causing trouble as a teen.

Her heart pounds harder and harder within her chest as the Principal's office comes into view, her ribs at risk of being shattered to pieces with each step closer that she takes. Maybe she could just run back to her room and pretend that she never received the note summoning her to the office, and put on the best performance of her life when questioned about it tomorrow morning.

No, she thinks, the older woman would see straight through those lies.

She knows Morticia all too well and, no matter how angry the principal may be right now, it would be nothing compared to how irate—and secretly hurt—she would be if Morticia lied to her.

Lying erodes trust, isn’t that what she always used to say?

Morticia wrinkles her nose and sighs, her shoulders sagging as she reaches the office door and raises her shaking fist to knock. The call to go inside is instant and Morticia wastes no more time, her breath catching in her throat as she steps inside to find sharp features sternly watching her.

Larissa Weems hasn’t changed.

A teacher in her late twenties when Morticia was only a child in her first year at the academy, Miss Weems had been her very first crush. Stern, unyielding, but willing to help whenever a student required it, she had been the focus of many an adolescent dream.

Dreams which, now, seem to be coming to shocking fruition.

Returning to Nevermore had never been the plan, especially not to be a teaching assistant, but with Gomez in prison and his bank accounts frozen, his nefarious schemes with his brother finally catching up with him, Morticia had been left with little choice but to find another way to earn the money she needs in order to return to college one day.

It’s just unfortunate—or perhaps fortunate—that Larissa’s demands are still very much the same.

She still expects the very best from Morticia, expects that she will reach the high standards set for her, that she holds the values and work ethics that every young woman should have by now.

Apparently her young marriage to Gomez had never quite instilled those in her just yet.

Principal Weems sits behind her grand desk, entirely unimpressed with Morticia’s conduct and wearing the same frown in her forties as she did whenever Morticia displeased her over fifteen years ago. This time, though, Morticia knows that it’s not a detention and a firm lecture coming her way, not with the way those icy blue eyes glare at her and hold the threat of a storm.

A reckoning is soon to be upon her, it seems.

No explination is needed after mentioning this simple 'huge' fact #until things shomehow change in the story... this is my unshakable belief

Just an OC Redesign of their “True Form” they’re a gender bent of the actual OC and so I thought
