Are you going to Change the Negative 10 Line Up? If so Whats the new Team?

The Forever King, the Forever Harlequin, Charmcaster, Hex, Doctor Animo, Clancy, Zombozo, Psyphon, Kraab and Vulkanus. I'll go through each of them to explain my reasoning. The Forever King is obvious, the original one to have created the Negative 10. But I will showcases a bit more of an insight of the Forever Knights, and how they are split into four factions, Driscoll only being one part of it, same as Enoch. The Forever Harlequin is my replacement idea for the Forever Ninja, as he always felt out of place. The Forever Harlequin is a mysterious, voiceless female figure who appears to be the one middle ground member of the forever knights, making sure they don't do anything too stupid. She also has a wide arrange of strange attacks and weapons, and Ben doesn't like fighting her much as her tactics are normally annoying to deal with, haha. Charmcaster and Hex, to give more time to showcase their relationship, and the problems behind it and why they happened. I'm thinking of including a scene that has Charmcaster finally snap at her uncle, before running off to later appear in Alien Force again, while Hex finally starts to rethink the things he's doing. Perhaps Gwen even being the reason this outburst happened. Doctor Animo, cause I'm not gonna leave out best crazy sciencetist man. And I like the idea of showing him and Clancy sort of have this weird friendship, that only they get one another, due to their connection to animals. Zombozo instead of the circus trio, because he's supposed to be more of the major threat compared to them. I want to also keep playing into the mystery of what he is, and make him more horror-focused like in his first appearance. Psyphon is an interesting case, but basically, I've decided to have him from the start being Vilgax's minion, so he can be a showcase of one of the many worlds Vilgax's has conquered. His presence is also going to help me explain how Vilgax got out of the null void after the team-up with Kevin, as Psyphon manages to open the null void after sneaking away into the Plumber base, and basically ditches the Negative 10 the moment he gets Vilgax out of there. Meanwhile, Kraab was hired by Psyphon, without the others knowing, to make sure everything goes smoothly for him. Kraab pretending to be there because he hates the Tennysons (When really he doesn't care, he's just there to get a job done). While Vulkanus is there because he hates the Tennysons after their last encounter, stuck on earth due to his ship being destoryed. I would imagine him being the one to start a lot of arguments with the Forever King, due to the Forever Knight's hateful views on aliens.

in her introduction in the dlc,Zelda wears an obsidian harlequin bodysuit with turquoise diamond appliques. Her sleeves take a bishop style, her right sleeve having a pale Columbia blue base and her left a black base, both with sapphire accents and wide cuffs resembling whipped cream. The jester wears a ruff collar from which hang curling coattails with a ghostly blue lining and a black outside.She wears his eye-like Gemstone of Deceit as a brooch on her collar in the same place that Creampuff wears her own Gemstone.

personality:Zelda is a theatrical villain, changing reality into an illusory counterfeit carnival stage to host her performances. She holds herself in cartoonishly-high regard through these shows, showering herself in praises and titles while forcing her victims to stand audience. Unlike what her clownish appearance suggests, she is mercilessly conniving and intelligent, presenting outrageous lies carried by nuggets of truth to entice her enemies to play along. However, such showmanship serves primarily as a means for her to enforce her own twisted perspectives upon those she seeks to entrap.Although Zelda behaves with sardonic playfulness, unexpected changes to her script from her audience can cause her to drop her act completely, as if her personality was nothing more but a facade for the blackness and fury that drives her. Ever the showman however, Zelda composes herself quickly as she reshapes her show to accommodate such unforeseen developments. A perfectly-executed "finale" where she stands victorious is the only other time her true self emerges with wicked laughter, the only soul left to applaud her own dark performances. however,she is shown to have a short temper,getting easily angered with one wrong move. 

story: She was once known as the worlds greatest "playwright, poet, director, actor, clown... Everyone's most beloved trickster!" When she noticed that people were more attracted to creampuff's preformances more then hers.In a fit of rage,she clawed Creampuffs left eye out and chipped her ear with her claw.flipping her brooch upside down and returned to the lost hex,where she restarted her plays but they became more chaotic,dark,and a lot of death and gore.

concept: a fan asked if zazz has a crush on anyone, Kyle awnsered yes and that it was someone who had a short temper just like him and she was like a jester of sorts. Ian flynn backed that up while stating she was inspired by shadow milk cookie and credits will be at the end of the game for the inspiration

looked at the gene guide and immediately found an art error. I would avoid using Ivory Harlequin/Jester for now everyone. It appears to use the same color twice, causing some of the gene's markings not to show. (comparing an Ivory Obelisk to a Flaxen Obelisk as an example. It's so bad. look at the wings and eyes!)

Happy Birthday Helbram!

Helbram is my favorite character. I love him to hell and back, so I'm not super pleased with myself that I couldn't get a drawing done on time for him, I am working on it though! The best I can do this moment is an analysis post. So here's an in-depth-to-the-best-of-my-ability wing analysis!

Here's another post I've made talking about Helbram in regards to how his sanity effects his movements in battle -> 💖 And here's another wing analysis post, this one for Gloxinia -> 🦋 And one that's really not in-depth for Harlequin -> 👑

As an author's note, I am not an avid reader. Never have been. So, my primary source for any and all information I use - especially visual/design information - comes from the anime. Secondary sources include the Grand Cross mobile game and, of course, character wikis.

This is actually rather important to note in this particular case because there is a stark difference between the manga and the anime in how Helbram's wings are designed. It's also noteworthy to mention that the manga is actually inconsistent with how many wings Helbram has. Some frames have 4, some only have 2. So even if I knew the manga better, I'd still use the anime exclusively here simply because it's actually consistent about his design.

As far as I can tell, Helbram's wings are typical in position and spacing. They're in the middle of his upper back, and the bases of the lower set are right below the upper set. The lower set appear to be slightly more inward, closer to the spine, on his Grand Cross model, but that still falls within what should normal since the lower set is smaller. What's actually noteworthy about Helbram's wings are their resting position and their actual appearance.

Helbram appears to have moth-like wings.

They way the rest in a downward position, they base color and the fact that they're not transparent* are all reminiscent of a moth rather then a butterfly, dragonfly, or bee like most other fairies.

*Note that the opacity here is assumed rather than proven, as in the anime and in the grand cross models no one's wings are actually see-through. Though the models in other 3D media, like the Grudge of Edinburgh movie, do show most fairies having transparent wings. But of course Helbram isn't in that movie, so this can only be an assumption based on the base color and the general moth-ish-ness of the design.

The primary color is actually a very pale green, though it looks off white compared to the blue bands on the lower portion of each wing.

The Hex code for the primary color is E5EBE0 and is described by colorhexa.com as "light greyish green," and colorxs.com gives it the name "Acropolis." The lighter of the two bands is 89D7D3, which colorhexa.com describes as "slightly desaturated cyan." colorxs.com calls it Blue Green Pastel*. And yes, the asterisk is part of the name, I don't know why. The darker band is 4196A9, described by colorhexa.com as "dark moderate cyan" and called Blue (Munsell)* by colorxs.com.

So the bands are cyan rather than blue.

Helbram also moves him wings in an up-and-down kind of motion when he moves them at all, rather than the in-and-out, fluttery, motion that other fairies typically have.

This was...actually really hard to conclude with any degree of certainty XD. What I had to do was watch previews of his skills in Grand Cross, specifically using the AR feature it has for some reason, so I could get this weird angle on his model while it was moving...it was a nightmare.

So Helbram has both the most typical and the most unusual wings of the ones I've analyzed so far. I wish I had more to say, really, but since their size and position are so...exactly how they should be, all I can really pick apart is the appearance. I think they're lovely! :) I do really like his wings.

And now, just to fluff this out a little :p I'm going to add every drawing of Helbram to date! Plus an outfit I designed but haven't actually drawn him in yet.

I made a cryptid for Fenrir__74’s on twitch cryptid contest and forgot to post them

“Harlequin Hex”

It was the 5th of October 2022 when I first noticed its presence. At the time, when I found the deer carcass, I had paid little attention to the puncture wounds that ran down its body. I’m not sure why it had abandoned its kill.

October 13th:

I caught the first picture of it on my trail cam. It’s six eyes staring from the void as if it knew I was watching. I started searching the trails during the day, making sure I brought my shotgun with me. Not sure how much protection it would give me but at least I could blow some of its eyes out. It seemed to only be active at night, killing more of the local wildlife for food. The other carcasses, or what little remained of them, we’re keeping it satiated.. for now. Whatever it was it was certainly massive, with footprints around a foot.

October 15th:

I followed the trail again, but it had led me back around to the previous day’s tracks.. was it following me? Maybe it’s just walking the same path as it did. Diverging off the tracks should help me figure out if it is actually hunting me.

October 17th:

My fears have been confirmed, I haven’t noticed any new carcasses and it has been following my trail for the past couple of days. I hope it’s had its fill and is full and not hunting me. Given what I can only imagine a several ton creature, I doubt it's full.

October 17th update:

It’s currently 3:44 am. I was woken up by a strange shriek? Roar? It sounded human but not.. like a bird imitating a person’s voice but deeper. I don’t know how long I sat there, frozen in my bed before I got up. I couldn’t sleep after that so I made some tea and checked the cams. I nearly dropped my mug, spilling hot tea all over my hand. The cam caught a photo of the creature. It was far more terrifying than I had imagined. The cam had only caught a blurry picture but I could see that its mouth was extremely long with a similarly long tongue. Weird little graspy arms protruded along the upper jaw. It had darker swirls along its body, harlequin like in nature. While it’s hard to see how big it actually is, I can say now that it’s much bigger than I had first thought.

October 18th:

The forest seems rather quiet today with no sign of the creature. I can’t stop thinking about its eyes and how wide it can open its mouth. I can only imagine it uses its little arms to help the carcasses move down. I called a local cryptid hunter, Ghosty Bones, yesterday but they never picked up. I’m hoping they can get back to me very soon.

October 23rd:

I took the photos I had with me to Ghosty Bones place. I couldn’t see it, but I knew it was following me. It felt like it was breathing down my neck but every time I turned around, nothing was there. The trees shifted in the corner of my eyes but suddenly stood still when I looked at them.

I finally arrived at Bones’s house and my heart stopped. There was blood across the front of the house, bits of flesh and clothing. The creature had gotten here first

I felt its presence even closer than before. I clutched my shotgun, however, when I turned around, I saw its caraten like plating and brilliant gold, outlining the deep blue swirls, unable to stop staring into its 6 eyes.

I was unable to move or shoot my gun, my body was numb as I drifted apart from it, a euphoric feeling washing over me.

The Harlequin Hex as it’s known is a large creature standing around 10 feet tall and around 36 feet long. Its dark blue and gold patterning gave the creature its name. Some say that it wanders in search of a long lost item. No one has decided on what it is. People will swear it’s a flower, a large crystal or egg, and some think that it wanders to consume people. Not many have lived to tell the tale as it hates being perceived and will track down those who have seen it.

June Reads

Hi, everyone, every month I would like to tell you about the books I read this month and what a delight it was. I read 10 books this month, six of which are in the Stay a Spell series by Juliette Cross. I would say a little about the series I have already talked about, but you can go read the post I made last week on the series. So, let’s talk about them in the order I read them. As always, I am going to have their Goodreads links:

1.      The Golden Ball and Other Stories by Agatha Christie: A collection of short stories with topics from mysteries to supernatural and romance. A clear stand-out for me is “The Golden Ball” a story about a couple who fantasized that they were married and looking for a home with an unexpected ending.

2.      The Harlequin Tea Set and Other Stories by Agatha Christie: A Short Stories Collection with topics from mysteries to many others. A clear stand-out for me is “The Lonely God” about a painter and a rich girl who met in the museum looking at a statue.

3.      Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie: An Hercule Poirot with a lullaby about a long-made murder and Poirot’s investigation with the main suspects. It is a wonderful example of her novels with a country estate, good characters, and a twist no one is going to see coming.

4.      Wolf Gone Wind by Juliette Cross: A good start to a good series of books about romance and sisterhood; this one makes you want to go and read the rest of the series. It says about the four creatures and the lives of the sisters and gives you clues for other books too.

5.      Don’t Hex and Drive by Juliette Cross: I liked the characters of the books and the plot I also liked the magic and how the author incorporated Indian culture in this one. We dipped more and into the world of the supernatural world of New Orleans as we follow the second sister going into her love story.

6.      Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross: I loved the friends-to-lovers romance of the series about a snarky witch and a lovable werewolf with a little obsessive behavior. I loved the issues of equality it had and how without saying something about the current issues in the real world she talked about them in a new way.

7.      Always Practice Safe Hex by Juliette Cross: I love in general the enemies-to-lovers romance and this had it all. Amazing characters, good rows, a work environment, and steamy sex scenes in a delight of a book.

8.      Resting Witch Face by Juliette Cross: I thought the two characters had chemistry in the previous books but in this one, it exploded with the bonus of going to the United Kingdom for a setting. I loved also, the one-bed plot in this as it was a good one early in the book, too.

9.      Grim and Bear It by Juliette Cross: Did you know that have a soft spot for blond sunshine girls and grumpy dressed in black with a soft spot? I have and this has the addition of butterflies, necromancy, and a murder mystery to solve, all with steamy scenes. Also, it has a romance book club with real books in it and most of them historical.

10.   Ties That Bind by Kika Hatzopoulou: I loved all of this book. From the great world-building to the mythology woven in. The murder mystery in this one and the social issues feel very real as it depicts a city with gangs and immigrants. Also, I loved the characters and how they were connected to ancient mythologies and the powers possessed by the descendants of ancient gods like the protagonist, Io who is Moira-born, the descendant of the Greek Fates, and the threads they weave to connect people and their life. It is a great beginning of the series and I can’t wait to read the next when it is published.

I'm 24 years old and I'm a bona-fide circus freak- but I guess, these days, with my tourin' opportunities on hold- I'm fillin' slots as a Police Dispatcher. I arrived in town in with my traveling troupe Seven years ago, and I still live with the surviving members in an abandoned house on the edge of town. I'm not sure how I feel about the Commune, because far be it from the clown to judge anybody else- My greatest vice is my inability to mind my own business, and the fact I'm a hellish gossip."

Peppy and vibrant, they can often come off as 'too much' for the unprepared, and has been since her arrival nearly eight years ago. They don't seem troubled by their new lot in life beyond a lingering sense of wanderlust, and her tendency to make new friends quickly has done her well, despite the fact her reputation as a nosy gossip is well-known.

Occupation: Former Circus Act, Presently working at the local police station as a dispatcher.

Affiliations: The Marvelous Menagerie Traveling Circus, The Huntsville Police, Arkadeon Sidon- their husband, and the Menagerie's present ringmaster, 39 years old.

Scent Profile: Sweet, like sugar and fresh cotton sheets, Like lanolin for violin bows and honey candies made by hand in the kitchen- like sweet flowers for bees they rear and the harsh copper of blood.

Aesthetic: Canvas strips from tents torn into bandages, rubbing alcohol biting into split knuckles and ignored bloodied lips. A painted on grin in white and blue paint hiding a frown beneath, everybody loves a clown- and you've been a fool for some time. Bees sting but once and then they die but they follow the will of a Queen. It is femininity made dagger sharp and deadly- Fear my sting, fear my sting, please do not hurt me.

You've ruined me and everything that used to seem Pleasant to me Is now a broken mockery- Nostalgic lost reality. But now it seems within these dreams the power all belongs to me!

CHAPTER ONE: LIFE IN HUNTSVILLE POST ARRIVAL

Hex has adjusted alarmingly well, all things considered, they miss the glamour of touring and performing that they saw in their teens, but there is a comfort in routine, and her fondness for the bees she keeps, and those who live within her strange little family of circus freaks tends to keep her on the straight and narrow. While their tendency to spread rumors and gossip hasn't earned them many favors, it's also not garnered many detractors in their life, most finding her more than enjoyable to be around given their plucky personality and eagerness to participate in anything she's invited to. She's the public facing presence for the Menagerie, a bright eyed, plucky young thing who garnered her fame in the cirque with her work as a clown and a tightrope walker. She tends to wilt, in the presence of her husband, though if asked about this, she'll quickly change the subject to something else, choosing to think about anything else aside from the man who heads her circus, and the fact their numbers are far smaller than they had been, that faithful night their traveling troupe rolled through the town of Huntsville. They remain close to Mercy, another freak in their circus who headed the sideshow, largely defaulting to his judgement of others when they're together- And with notable friction between Mercy, Arkadeon, and herself, the people of the Menagerie are a frayed tightrope bound to snap someday- Hex simply hopes that they're not the one to cause the break.
