- jackie was the most popular girl at the wiskayok high school. being the captain of the yellowjackets was a big help but her personality was the main reason. she was born to be the leader. she the one to enchant people with no big efforts except for maybe just a smile or a charming look

- you didn't care about being popular but it was a consequence of being jackie's partner. it was really easy to notice all the looks directed at your girlfriend but you weren't much of a jealous person. you trusted jackie and knew that, to her, it wasn't anything but friendly attention or jealous fake people

how to improve drawing kinda fast:

ditch lineart for a bit (this way its easier to part with things that aren’t working)

use a REALLY thin brush

copy, copy, copy art you think is ✨art goals✨

don’t post that stuff tho :O

if you need to trace at first, thats fine lol but break away from that eventually!! you gotta train your eyes to draw what you see, spatial awareness is very important

copy hands, poses, expressions, anything you wanna get better at

don’t copy from refs that are way too simple to be used as a “master study”, like from the calarts shows etc.

copy from stuff thats kinda complex bc if you learn how to draw it in that complex way, you can always simplify it if you want ^^

im pretty sure this is how many of us have become obsessed with hip dips details LOL

if something looks off, flip ur canvas, mess with ur sketch, or even delete (or hide) parts of the sketch and try again. if you drew it once, u can draw it again. (erase or hold up the page to the light backwards if drawing on paper)

being cool with parting with your sketch if its not working will make you a better artist

youre allowed to frankenstein refs together lol (a hand from here, a mouth from there...)

if youre having trouble making your sketches look like theres actual shapes, try shading :D

literally the only reason i shade now is to show the shapes of objects in more of a painterly way (its not just for paintings btw, its just easier to describe it that way)

try new things that youre excited about like perspective, anatomy, blah blah

copy!!!! while youre copying it’s gonna be cool to see how much you remember when you try it on your own

scribble a doodle as often as you can, not like urgently, but like as something to look forward to (like how lots of ppl look forward to wordle everyday lol)

this list can apply to anyone but its fine if you wanna take some advice and leave some if it doesn’t work out. this list is mostly just to get you comfortable with sketching and learning, not performing.

I mention that “not performing” thing bc its easy to want to please social media platforms because that attention and validation can feel amazing! 

but its also addicting because many of us crave being in a community and talking to ppl who like the same things we do

there are many communities out there from artist youtubers, artist streamers, etc. and many of them have discords and stuff and it might be fun to join! and/or join fandom ones if u want ^^ 

that way you have something thats not bound by if ig decides to not show your post to your followers or something

there’s also lots of other platforms that aren’t social media based specifically for artist communities too!

with this said, please be safe! never give out private info and you’re always free to block/report ppl who make u uncomfortable or ask weird things. 

on the topic of being in communities... reblog art you like! comment the nice things youre thinking in the tags or in an actual comment! share art you like on your ig story!

ummm now I'm drawing a blank but I KNOW I've been to more shows and the stupid brain damage is making me forget. I've always been to see a fuck ton of tribute bands at this supper club, and tbh they were almost all really good. The Pink Floyd one especially. Also lol in middle school once this club I was in had a band come perform and they were like... a hair metal Christian band that took mainstream rock songs like "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi and changed the lyrics to like... "LIVING 'CAUSE I PRAAYYYY" and it was fucking hilarious. It's driving me crazy tho because I know there are more actual real concerts I am forgetting -_-

so i guess if you count all the artists I saw multiple times, it comes to... *maths* 28 concerts? Which tbh does not feel like nearly enough.

I did get Taylor tickets last year HOWEVER they were... beyond atrocious, the seats. Like, upper upper deck, BEHIND the stage with like no visibility, not even of the screens, because again: BEHIND. I had like three people trying to get tickets that day and 2/3 of us failed but my friend succeeded and she was like "do you want me to buy these? they're upper deck" and I was like yeah yeah that's okay! We can look at the screens! And then I saw the "OBSTRUCTED VISIBILITY" thing and looked at the layout and I was like...kind of devastated, honestly? It's really hard for me to do an outing like that physically, it was outdoors in April (which translates to HOT in Florida) and I just didn't see myself able to endure 5 or 6 hours at minimum in the heat without like, passing out and dying. Not to mention I'm still really scared of being in a large space with that many people because my disease-modifying drug destroys most of my immune system. I ended up selling them, and... buying my vinyl collection lol. Taylor got a lot of that money again because I bought a lot of her records. I'm kind of bummed that maybe I missed my chance forever, but again, I don't think I could have physically swung it. Plus, of the three nights she did Tampa, the show I was supposed to go to had meh surprise songs while the other 2 nights had AMAZING ones, so I know I would have been salty about that too. ONE DAY THO.

Ruben, Antonia, and Russula - Ruben is definitely grumpy, I think the only thing that could make him smile is if you present him with some nice cheeses, or do something really stupid :p Toni, ofc is beautiful, she takes a lot of pride in her appearance, oh the style!! i wanna be her!! Russula.. isnt "evil", not really, but shes a demon lady so thats as close as you'll get x

Wren, Delilah, and Jay - I like thinking Wren would, at some point, have a guide dog, though it's not really canon unfortunately. Delilah is one of my Ace Attorney OCs! The daughter of Ron & Desiree, she definitely has a knack for mechanics, even at such a young age. Jay is like the "fly on the wall" of the Maedas, so is Robin tbf, I think both of them sit in a corner and stare, but yeah totally quiet, unless he feels like being snarky, he just sits and is judgemental

Copper, Angel, Blaire + Ginger - Copper is handsome!!! thats all really. Blaire and Ginger are beloved to me, best friends who found each other thru drag!

Season 1, episodes 1-6

I forgot how good the writing and animation are in the first season, like they truly thrived under aniplex😔 the brief white blood period in I think season 3 shows us just how good we had it

I love seeing Hawk and Meliodas's relationship, and his star Boar earring😭 plus having the Boar hat as the main location is just so comforting !!

Also I JUST realized his name is hawk because of a ham hok😭😭 this is like when I realized toe mater's name was tomato at the ripe age of 18

I miss the holy knights being powerful. Like I get that the Sins are always more powerful than them, had a long way to go in terms of power ups, and meliodas straight up had most of his power sealed but like DAMN. They were so cool in season 1 !! Gil was such a badass😭 I guess I just wish that the holy knights powered up along with the Sins

Seeing the very first episode got me thinking about the original pilot Manga (chapter 0) and how cool it might have been !! Like I love the story we got, but I do think those versions of Mel and Elizabeth maybe would have been better than the ones we got😳 like I just really like Meli's original design, I feel like he looks a bit older, and chapter 0 Elizabeth is simply superior ngl. She's funny, brave, and assertive - a lot more like Liz and goddess Elizabeth, except funnier

The first half of season 1 has one of my fave intro and outros like damn I forgot how fucking cool they were. Some of my fave songs to !! (my all time fave is def howling from season 3 part 2 (i think lol) tho)

Also Gil is such a badass in early episodes, I love his strength !! This moment is the fucking coolest and you can't convince me otherwise

Overall, I think the attention to detail is just better, the sounds the armor makes, the animation and drawings (esp background characters), Meliodas just sounds a bit older too (and I have theories on his voice here if u want them 👀)

The whole perv thing is really exhausting really quickly. Almost surprised 14 year old me made it through this as the 2nd anime I ever watched and the 1st I watched alone

I feel like Diane got shorter through the seasons. Like she doesn't compare to Hawk Mama like she did in season 1, and I think that's a damn shame. Let my giant girl be giant !!

She's also a decent bit more violent and I enjoy that thoroughly. She's just a silly goofy kween😌

This scene takes place 12 years before present (bp). Does this mean Ban and Meliodas were friends before the formation of the Sins? Or was Ban the first after him and Merlin? It’s 3 am, I can’t sleep both because I’m too awake and because my cat keeps getting in my face, and for whatever reason I’m in the mood to talk about my aromantic journey.

I’m not sure how many aros/allos had this experience, but I distinctly remember trying to force crushes as early as elementary school. I’d have no real reason why other than ‘hey, the girls in the cartoons I watch have crushes, so I should too. If Helga Pataki is out here daydreaming about her wedding, I should too!’

Never mind the fact that I barely even knew the boy I was drawing myself at the altar with, I just knew he was nice - and after a month AT MOST I’d just never talk to or think about him again. At that time I really was so much in my own world that I really did have one or two close friends and then a bunch of acquaintances because we had all went to the same elementary/middle school.

The closest thing I ever got to a ‘boyfriend’ of sorts was this guy in high school who was a year older than me. We were both in our school band’s brass section (different instruments tho, I can’t remember if he was trombone or tuba) and he was practically the definition of a safe guy.

Beyond the fact that we were both in band, we both liked cartoons and liked talking about cartoons. I even shared my fanfiction with him and he was always nice to me. We were good friends, and again with how many Friends to Lovers plots I saw on TV, I just had kind of a “yeah, if this happens I could live with it” mentality.

I told myself that I had a crush on him, but honestly I think I was just really happy to have a close friend. All our ‘dates’ were to the movies, but I always cared more about the movie itself and then talking about it with him afterwards (wasn’t that the whole point of going to the movies with someone, I wondered, completely missing and ignoring the OTHER point of movie dates)

We held hands once while watching one of our school’s musicals (couldn’t focus too much on whether or not I enjoyed it tho since I was suffering with a headache at the time. fucking Annie. Still hate those songs :P) I also remember him giving me these hugs that felt very long, and I remember asking my one friend if that seemed weird to her, not hating these hugs but not enjoying them as much as I probably should have either.

Things reached a culmination with prom. We had a two-hour late start on Valentine’s Day that year, and while I had bought him a Reese’s heart, I remember feeling nervous about possibly receiving some sort of grand prom-posal in return, and was relieved when the late start messed up his plans. I was already not feeling the whole prom thing, with my mom straight up telling me “if someone asks you, you’d better accept!” as a response. Sure enough, he asked me and I wasn’t sure how to say no.

Thankfully as I said, he was a truly nice guy, and when he saw my hesitation he suggested an alternative: a movie, supper at Applebee’s (aka the closest thing you get to fairly nice dining in a small Midwest town) and then the after-prom carnival. I instantly agreed. At the time I told myself the reason why I didn’t wanna go to actual prom was because I was shy, hadn’t had good experiences at other school dances and didn’t want to get all dressed up. All honest reasons that I’m sure did play a big part, but I think my unknown-at-the-time uncomfiness with personal romance also played a part.

Before then, I can remember pondering over my date-lessness, acknowledging how weird it probably was that I had never kissed anyone and how possible it was that I’d just stay a virgin… and those thoughts were just that, thoughts. No angsting, just a passing “yeah, I guess that is weird” and then moving on, never really feeling passionate enough or worried enough to properly dwell on it.

Anyway, as I said before, the most enjoyable and memorable part of my prom night was seeing Aardman’s “Pirates: Band of Misfits” (still a great movie). Afterwards, we continued hanging out until he graduated and went off to college, and while we hung out a couple more times after, it didn’t take us long to loose touch.

I remember the last time we hung out feeling so damn anxious and not really knowing why, to the point of nearly canceling our meet-up. Then we did meet up, we talked, had a chill and friendly time - and again, SUCH a relief without really knowing why.

My last real ‘experience’ with romance was in college with another ‘safe’ guy from one of my classes. I thought I liked him, he somehow noticed and asked. I said yes, he said he wasn’t interested in a relationship at the time, and i was just like “oh, okay, no worries”. And that was that, no second thoughts.

Outside of that, I explored my maybe-bisexuality through RPs with the person who had not only become my best friend (love you Tessa ^v^) but who first taught me what asexuality was. I came to a conclusion that ‘hey, I think I’d be okay with dating girls actually, cause girls are pretty and these girls I’ve been hanging out with during study abroad are really nice’. Again, when you grow up with 1-2 close friends AT MAX per grade/per school, genuine friendship seems like the biggest thing in the world (and tbh it is, at least to me but I’m sure not to others, not to the same extreme I mean).

I graduated college without ever having a boyfriend, a girlfriend or even a first kiss - and being pretty okay with that. I knew 100% at that point that I was a proud asexual who thought sex seemed sorta boring at best and gross/painful at worst, easily falling into the neutral/repulsed side of things. I kept using the bi label (and for what it’s worth, it still half-fits since, when it comes to the animated characters I’m attracted to, I’m still good with both) until a year or two ago when I fully accepted that I was likely somewhere on the aro spectrum as well - and much like when I realized I was ace, it suddenly made a lot of things make more sense.

So here I am, a happy ace/aro woman who gets to live with my best friend and our two cats - and after over 10 years of friendship (longest, most meaningful and least fairweather friendship I’ve ever had, next to the one I have with my brother) and about two years of getting to live with her and have fun with her and be there for her in all the ways she’s there for me - in all honesty, I truly can’t think of a better outcome ^v^

Okay but what if he doesn’t think about it until high school when he met a girl with the same name as him and he realized that hey maybe that’s what was missing, maybe that’s the piece that had been rattling around in the dark of her mind.

IIRC, he said he got scouted at 14 and idk if they do co-ed football academy (this could be totally wrong tho, I have both a shit memory and approximately 0.5 knowledge about sports career tracks).

But this would be cute! He'd have a phase where he didn't know if he wanted to have her or be her, and probably they would date about it a little bit and then after they were done with that they'd beard for each other because she's a lesbian and he doesn't know what's going on with him yet but boy he sure does like looking at Roy Kent a lot, and then after they were done with that they'd date again for real because actually they are both girls who are gay for girls. Serendipity.

My personal headcanon, I think, is that he was genderqueer as a kid but in that kid way where adults are just like haha aren't kids silly they don't even know about gender.

And then he got scouted(?), and his dad started coming around, and on one hand he simply did not have time to think about it and on the other hand it would suddenly be scary anyway because of James. But tbh mostly the former.

So, to his perception, he just feels really fucking bad sometimes, for no discernible reason, and then he gets over it. Whatever, it's not interfering with his career so it doesn't matter. And like he'd just have every now and then on an off day or the off season or spending the night with a girlfriend where he'd kind of indulge in girlishness, like, for fun 'cause it feels good, but he doesn't really connect those because the girly fun is so lighthearted and, like, whatever. It's so simple and surface level and shit, there's no way it could have an effect on that terrible bad feeling.

And then eventually, he ends up on the team he wants to stay on for the bulk of his career now, and James goes away, and training is not exactly easier or less time consuming but it takes up a little less bandwidth metaphorically speaking because he's surrounded by friends all the time.

And sort of in between, the less and less James is around and the more and more comfortable he gets with the people he's around and who he is and what he's allowed to do, he does more and more girly things, still not drawing the connection, but because he can do whatever he wants now the bad feeling becomes less and less frequent because he can, like, subconsciously make himself feel better before it gets that bad now, with like easy shit like painting his nails or wearing a gayass little outfit or whatever.

Buuuut, because now he has more brainspace to think about things, and he's free to do so too, now when that bad feeling comes up he can't so much not think about it anymore...

So, they are childhood friends (there is actually a third friend, it was a group of 3, but she has her own stuff going on). They are orphans, and well, grew up on an orphanage. The girl with the side ponytail arrived after an accident that took away her parents, and she, reasonably, was a crying mess and was badly depressed. The girl with the long hair kept insisting and insisting to look after her, to befriend her, and would pull her along on her silly adventures.... Actually I feel bad for not talking about the third one

The girl with long hair is kinda... Hmm... Innovative let's say, and she loooooves nicknames, so she just calls herself A, and that's how the other two girls know her as, and a nickname that stuck the rest of their lives (her name is Arely). The side ponytail girl goes by M (Mimi), and the green haired girl is K (Karen).

A would always pull M along everywhere, and M is extremely grateful for that, she feels like she saved her. K was also dragged along and as much as she hated to admit it, she enjoyed the other 2's company.

K was serious and easy to anger, she had very little patience and would prefer to so stuff on her own instead of dealing with others, and used to be like that until one day after M's arrival she did something for her. She saw her struggling and without hesitation went and helped her. Later on M told A about this and A adopted her into the group, despite K's complaints.

Each of them have her own little details like how M loves to learn more about flowers, K collects different color laces and stickers, or A trying to come up with her own language.

But yeah, as they grew up, at some point they got separated, they went their own ways.

Even as an adult, M always missed the other two very much, she just wanted to see them again. She also noticed that whenever she thought about A she had a pain in her heart, but she wasn't sure what that was.

On her own life, A became a designer for a popular fashion magazine, while K is doing her own thing (quite literally has her own story, but she's some sort of wizard that helps to watch over the world).

One day because gay destiny, M and A finally cross paths again, they recognize each other instantly, despite how much they've changed. During the whole time they talked M kept feeling her heart beating loudly. They parted ways but not without exchanging their phone numbers.

They continued in contact after that, and at some point M noticed that she was badly in love with her childhood best friend, and as she started reflecting about it, she notices she had always felt this way about her and is like "I've loved her for all my life?!?" And gay panic lmao

A is REALLY DENSE and she's not gonna notice anything unless explicitly said, and even tho M is more confident, she still can't dare to do that and keeps trying to drop subtle hints. On the other hand, while A has less energy, she is still really affectionate and does some gay shit like placing her hand on M's cheek or playing with her hair, which absolutely kills M. Non functional lesbian lmao.

I don't really have a sexuality assigned to A, but the girl is obviously queer lmao. And I'm pretty sure she also likes M, but is unaware of it and just thinks it's because she loves her childhood best friend, will notice her type of love isn't the friendship kind when they meet up with K.

"The weird romantic choices in Naruto: Naruhina

Warning: This is mostly anti-naruhina.

Well, here we go again with another ship analysis, deconstruction, criticism, however you want to call it lol.

You see, to me this is all tided with that bland aftertaste of Naruto's ending, because it just wasn't necessary. They canon ships don't add anything to the story, if any they make the overall message further dissatisfying.

Before I continue, this is still important:

I won't pretend to understand Japanese culture. I was born and raised in a Latin culture, which probably has a completely opposite view of romance (we are loud, we kind of take pride in PDA, and we wear our hearts in our sleeves). So, it's more than possible that I'm making a misinterpretation of what Kishi wanted to say. Nevertheless, Naruto reached an international public, so I won't feel bad about making an interpretation of it either.

I'm not an anti-shipper or pro-shipper, this is just an analysis, please feel free to ship whoever you want (whatever makes you happy while you don't hurt anybody in the process).

That said, I think what upsets me the most about Naruhina are the expectations.

Naruto is a shounen, romance is already trowing the expectations of the genre away. But at the same time, it doesn't take too much risk or screen time on developing this subtopic. Now, it becomes problematic in the sense that it's unclear if it is important to the story or not, because romance can play a big role in the story (thinking of Hell's Paradise for comparison) or not (e.g. Jujutsu Kaisen).

Allow me to elaborate.

Naruto states on chapter 3 that he likes Sakura. It's weird and shallow. But whatever, it gives the character some personality."

Naruto really doesn't declare in chapter 3 that he loves Sakura it's just a crush and not romantic feelings because if it was like that Naruto wouldn't have been so worried about Hinata in the tsunin exams after she got hurt Kishi wouldn't draw his grave holding hands with Hinata In fact Kishi thought of Naruha before the manga started

"Needless to say that Sakura don't like Naruto at all. So, expectations are that a) Naruto somehow wins Sakura's heart (which is kind hinted as a possibility in the same chapter 3), or b) he realizes that he has no reasons to like Sakura (beside her physics) and gets over it. However, none of that happened.

An option C is later added with the introduction of Hinata. The girl is obsessed with Naruto just the same as Sakura is obsessed with Sasuke. Now, Hinata's feelings have a bit more development in the sense that Naruto pays attention to her where she is the black sheep of the Hyuga. This stuff is not healthy (wanting validation from another person and thinking "it must be love"), but at least it makes sense since she is insecure about herself.But Naruto doesn't see Hinata that way. Most of the time he's being friendly."

Here's another idiot who didn't read the manga right Hinata is really not obsessed with Naruto Naruhina and SasuSku are two completely different things don't you dare mix them up obviously Naruhina is forced in your opinion otherwise why would Naruto hold the hand of someone who is just a friend for him in the chunin exams and more everyone including Sakura is watching him

Naruto wanted fought for his future wife so much he sacrificed for her Something he never did for Sakura

So, the story is set up as: Hinata wants Naruto, Naruto wants Sakura (tho he shows more interest in Sasuke), Sakura wants Sasuke, Sasuke wants revenge.

And there are so many possibilities you can play with with that narrative elements. Yet at the same time, the author could have just let it all blank because it is a shounen. It's not about romance. And for a while, he kind of does.

Then this happens:

Yet somehow Naruto and Hinata end up together (I'm not going to get to The Last or the added scenes in the anime, this is manga only).

Naruto doesn't get over Sakura at any point in the manga, from chapter 3 to 631. Even when he knows she's obsessed with Sasuke. I don't think this was necessary. Naruto could have realized that they were better off as friends at some point of the story, which ironically could have been a weak motivator for Sakura to keep pursuing Sasuke.

So what's the issue?

Well I would argue that Naruto never truly loved Sakura which was explained in the last. To me Naruto only thought he liked Sakura because he had literally no other female friends and when he did get them he still hardly hung out with them. 🤦

Well, what is the message of Naruhina? Could it be persistence? Wouldn't that be the same as Sakusasu? And that's hammering down on terrible advice as I said here:

From Sakuras POV it's: "it's okay to be obsessed with a guy who's not-that-into you because he'll come around." This is something I would never say to another human being. Again it could be the Latin blood in me, but romance should bring fireworks. If a person doesn't SHOW that you are their sun and moon, it's not worth it.

However, besides that, it's a waste of story to have something happening twice. Let me rephrase that. It's a waste of story to have two relationships to say the same message. It's just not necessary, but repetitive. And don't get me wrong, repetition is an important element on any story, but it has to be balanced or it will be either predictable or boring.

In other words, characters on stories (if done in a highly efficient manner) represent different concepts of the themes in the service of saying this truth at the end (the message). For example, in an initial concept of team 7 (because this was retconed) Naruto is the shinobi rejected by the village, Sasuke is the one that is admired (for his bloodline and genius status), and Sakura is normal, just another shinobi fulfilling her duty. They represent 3 different viewpoints of growing up in the shinobi system. And their stories had the potential of delivering different complementary pieces of this big message (maybe it is, but I dislike the idea that the message of Naruto is something like: conform and obey).

To illustrate better, you can think of the story of The Lord of the Rings. Each character of the fellowship is different, they not only represent different races but also different conflicts inside the world. And each of them get a different conclusion at the end of the book which ties up in the different forms of unity (because the message of the book is: "evil can only be defeated by joining forces and working together").

Then again, it's evident that the author wanted to stretch as long as possible the idea of Narusaku. Why else having the scene of Naruto holding Hinata's hand before the scene of him telling Minato that Sakura is his girlfriend? However this relationship is always portrait as one-sided (even more than Sasusaku). Naruto had no chance there.

I would dare to say Naruhina it's not in-character for Naruto. Kishi made sure of two things to support this argument: 1) Naruto's infatuation with Sakura, and 2) his desire to have a fireworks kind of love. For what other reason would he reject Sakura in chapter 469?

Hinata also not need the moment that she is holding hand with Naruto. kishi always planed NaruHina and not NaruSaku. Naruto never loves Sakura. Before the war things happen beween him and Hinata Sai said that Naruto lovesc Sakura but the words never come from Naruto. so shut up Why Kishi would he did it? for comedy sometimes autors writers put it in their stories naruto was joking he didn't really say sakura was his girlfriend

He could have accepted Sakura's fake love confession, but he didn't, even when his initial reaction is pure joy.

For Hinata, I'd say it's in-character because she doesn't get much development. Her two main traits are being shy and insecure, and being in love with Naruto. In her case, Naruto is actually a positive figure because he believes in her when no one else does. Then again, he also caused her almost dying at Neji's hands during the chunin exams (there's a point when you need to acknowledge that you're not strong enough (need to work on your skills) and accept defeat, Naruto encouraging her to keep fighting until she dies is... stupid). So maybe I'm wrong in saying it's positive.

Well stop it please this person only said his opinion why you toxic? Kishimoto never said that he kill Neji for NaruHina why you put to him word to maut? Naruto close to Hinata before that he is dead Neji literally look on them

Finally, I can't get over the fact that Neji literally died in front of Naruto and Naruto didn't develop some kind of PTSD while looking at Hinata's eyes. It should be triggering. For contrast's sake, there's Tsunade's fear of blood because she saw Dan dying on her arms. Not saying is the same, but strong emotions get attached to senses, like sight. (This is just me, so take it as a headcanon).

Sorry that this didn't turn out as poetic as my post on Sasusaku lol, but there's not much to say about Hinata, she's heavily sidelined. And, even if they are friends, it's portrayed as a one-sided romance during all the manga. Just saying, Hinata doesn't get this reaction from Naruto:

Cassandra should be younger than the twins and we're missing both Vesper and Ludwig.

Also Percy being too depressed to appreciate Vex looking like that is not as funny as the memes about it are, but is it still pretty funny.

Keyleth being her usual Disney Princess self is lovely! But her reaction to Vax's greeting is annoying, he has food in his mouth Keyleth, what did you expect? Vax singing good morning? Come on, girl, give him a break lmao.

Then Grog ruining Vax's day before he even has breakfast is such a brother thing to do. A+ sibling representation there.

Then Allura!! The door!! Vax getting revenge!! Scanlan flirting with Pike!! This scene is so good, poor Percy trying to save face with an unimpressed Allura always cracks me up.

Then the dinner!

There's a slight animation error that has Vax looking a little depry when they first arrive, but the curtsey more than makes up for it - also, he looks so pretty!

("No thoughts, just pretty boy" is the biggest mood of the season.)

Also petition for Vax to have a ponytail in season 3 if we don't get the beads and braids. So much nicer than whatever he has going on normally.
