A book asks the reader to imagine any sensory input of the story, whereas a film or TV show provides both sound and visuals. Audio fiction lives in the space between these two approaches. I think there's a unique power to that middle ground. I love how audio drama asks the listener to co-construct their sensory experience of the story.
Audio drama allows me to simultaneously experience 'This character feels real to me because I've heard their voice' and 'This character feels real to me because I've pictured them myself'.
What the characters are experiencing is both directly presented to me and left to my imagination. There's no page or screen between me and the story. It's there in my ears. It's there in my mind's eye.
There's a strange sense of intimacy to that, the intimacy of feeling like a fly on the wall during a conversation or of hearing a character speaking as if directly to me. Perhaps it sounds contradictory to say that experiencing a story only through sound allows me to feel uniquely connected to that story, but that's one of the reasons why I love audio fiction so much.

Do you have any tips to keeping to a schedule of learning? I'm in germany right now and very aware i',ve been lax.
Heya!!
What works for me is to have a fixated time of day when I study, and for me, it's usually my lunch break (1 hour) and in the evening after work. I also study in the weekends, but that's more if I have nothing to do and just wanna chill in the house and study a bit just bc I can.
For me, having a fixated 'established' hour of the day when I know I can study works to keep a routine and not slacking off too much. What also helps is differentiating activities, for example doing some grammar exercises one day, writing short paragraphs and practicing my writing another day, and doing some listening exercises another. If you do the same thing over and over again, you're going to start dreading studying because it's going to become a boring chore you feel forced to do, while keeping it interesting with varying activities and also doing some more 'fun' studying like watching a movie/tv series/youtube videos in your target language for example, is going to keep your interest high. I think it's important that you don't feel forced to study what you find boring, if you're studying by yourself as a hobby: find fun activities that keep you engaged like playing mini games in your target language, writing some letters/short paragraphs if you like doing that, listening to podcasts... stuff like that. Study doesn't have to be leaning over a book every single day, honestly just find a way that works for you. It could be watching a shitton of youtube videos in german to practice your listening, and that's a really important skill to acquire.
Another thing that helped me a lot was buying an exercise book for the language I'm studying, and doing the exercises/lectures on it. Having a book that you need to go through and read fills you with the objective of completing the exercises and finishing chapters, and by doing so reaching a certain material objective that you can see, and for me that helps immensely. I'm really not able to focus and feel motivated if all I do is staring at a web page on a screen all day, I need to have an actual pen in my hand and paper to write on, that makes me much more focused and 'in the zone'. But that varies from person to person, you might not feel that need, but even getting a PDF version of an exercise book you can go through during your studying time could be a good idea!
And honestly, if you're studying by yourself as a hobby/passion project, don't beat yourself too hard over being lax. It's good to put effort into studying and mantaining a routine, but you're still making progress everyday just doing your best and practicing. The effort WILL pay off and it will get easier the more you practice and get into it, it's just a matter of finding a good way to keep your attention/interest high. Best of luck!!!

New Year Resolutions - 2024
I'm not typically someone who thinks long and hard about my New Year's Resolutions. I tend to always have the same vague goals in mind that usually involve losing weight and trying to look better (sad, I know).
I think the fact that I turn 30 this coming year has made me reflect more on the type of person I'd like to be - I'm entering a new season of life here soon and I'm not satisfied with where I'm at as far as my own personal growth is concerned.
And really, the things I'm dissatisfied with are all things that I can easily change. Nothing is so drastic or monumental that it's impossible for me to start working on. I just need to start.
So moving forward, these are my goals:
Goal 1: Pick up on reading again
I read a total of I think...2 books in 2023. I used to read 2 books (sometimes more) in a week. It's just sad. I read a lot on my phone, but I'd like to swap screen time for book time. In the same vein, I'd also like to utilize the library more.
I think a very reasonable goal for me to is to complete 1 book a month. I started the book "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" a couple of months back. I'm only about 4 or 5 chapters into it, even though I was hooked at the time of reading. I just sort of fell off reading it for no reason (it's still on my nightstand, collecting dust).
I'd like to get back to that book and finish reading it by the end of January. Then try to read a book per month? That sounds reasonable.
Goal 2: Pick up on working out/moving more again
Pretty self explanatory, and probably a goal on everyone's NYR list. I know I feel better when I move in every way, even if I'm not actively losing weight - I have more energy, my body feels flexible, my clothing fits better, I don't feel achy or stiff. Really no excuse for this one because our gym isn't that far from us and we have plenty of sidewalks to walk on outside.
Goal 3: Don't spent frivolously/try to only keep to the essentials
This one is a bit of a newer thing for me. I've been very into watching no-buy videos on YouTube, and while I don't think I can be that strict with myself, I know there are many things I can cut down on spending wise.
I'm working on taking things down to the bare essentials, especially in the bathroom. I only want one of each thing: one shampoo, one face wash, one moisturizer, one serum, etc. Sometimes I have had up to 2 or 3 products for one purpose, and it overwhelms me.
Honestly, I'm almost already to the point of having figured out my favorite products that work for me, but I do have some spare items I need to use up (but do not plan on repurchasing). I only want to buy these items when I need them, nothing more, nothing less. I'm tired of letting things go bad because I don't use them. I'm producing unnecessary waste and losing money!!
This basic idea also applies to other things, such as food, home goods, etc. Like am I buying something I will really use or enjoy as a treat, or am I just wanting the high of purchasing something I don't really need.
Sometimes it's unavoidable, but I'd like to try and be better and more mindful about my purchases.
Goal 4: De-clutter, tidy, and be on top of donating/selling stuff
I try to de-clutter at least a couple times a year. I think I'm pretty good at it, but I need to be on top of donating and selling stuff I do not intend to keep. I tend to make a pile for each and then...procrastinate actually donating or selling the items. I just need to act quickly and get rid of them asap.
If my space has less stuff, then it is much easier to routinely clean. I'd also like to focus on cleaning more this year, in a way that doesn't force me to do a huge deep clean that stresses me out and exhausts me. If I keep spaces relatively clean throughout the week on a regular basis, then I have less to clean when I really need to dig in and deep clean...y'know?
Goal 5: Stay hydrated
I just need to work on keeping hydrated on a regular basis. That's all!
Goal 6: Save money
Saving is always a goal of mine. I'd like to save up a little more than enough to finish paying off my car this year, and build my savings back up to a comfortable amount. It's currently not terrible, but it's not where I'd like it to be.
I think this one is easily do-able, especially if I cut back on spending on things I don't truly need.
Goal 7: Take the time to learn new skills
This mainly pertains to me needing to sit down and actually learn SQL...my boyfriend keeps encouraging me to learn it. I also want to learn it to hopefully move on to a better paying job, but it intimidates me.
I'd like to start taking small steps into learning it this year. Maybe I can finish the year with a certificate or something.
This also applies to crafting. Not that I myself am an avid crafter, but I think it'd be fun to do small crafts here and there throughout the year. I'm thinking mainly for gift giving occasions. I stretched myself so thin money wise this year for Christmas, but I think I can plan ahead and spend less money but give better gifts...if that makes sense.
/ /
But yeah, I think that's about it for my 2024 goals!
All in all, the theme for me is to be more mindful and proactive in many different facets of my life. I've felt quite thoughtless in regards to myself, and I want to put in some more effort to feel like a whole rounded person again.

Hi, idk how to call that question so I try to explain it with an example: I want to learn something so I tell myself "For every page read, you may have a cookie". Then my (usually pretty small and inactive) part of me that does the self-care kicks in and says."Why? You never got anything good in your life without working for it. Why starving yourself of good things too?". Which is a valid point for me. So I will eat the cookies and then learn, but not as long and concentrated as I (imagine) I'd do if I still had a motivation to do so.
And if I force myself to do, I will very quickly get issues eating cookies without learning beforehand. That link "Treat X only after work Y" will be bound fast and strong. This doesn't only apply to food. And also long term rewards like "If you learn 10 times you may buy Y" don't work bc A I need my reward immediately or B I don't have the money.
Maybe worth mentioning that I had anorexia and back then did the same "You are only allowed to eat X after Y", as firm rules.
But most motivation tips work like this and tbh I have zero intrinsic motivation. Also stuff like "My bf tells me how proud he is afterwards" doesn't work.
I also don't want to make this a bigger issue than it is by "training my brain to stop making the link". You know, forcing myself to eat cookies after learning and when I eat cookies in my freetime saying to myself over and over "You may still have those without learning!" it might still work (after some weeks or months) but those will feel like full of punishment and the issue isn't big enough for that.
I hope you have some ideas how I can motivate myself in another way or how to overcome that issues without making it a long term project.
Have a nice day
Hey there nonny!
Motivation can be a really tricky thing, especially for people who are smart. Let's be real, why would I want to wait for something I could have now? Things that you can move up on your own to have before doing the task almost never work for those who reason like we do. If you're set on that method, though, I suggest giving the reward to someone else for safekeeping, so you can't give it to yourself early, or, eating half of it now, and half of it later if you have the self control for that, satisfying that "reward now" part of you, but still leaving some motivation.
If you're looking for other motivation mechanisms, try activities or things that come in steps. For instance, I enjoy art a lot. If I have something I need to get done like an essay, I'll sketch out some ideas for a new piece of art, and either a certain amount of paragraphs into the essay or after 45 minutes, whichever comes first, I'll do the next step of my artwork. That serves as both motivation for me, and a resting period from work.
A lot of times, a big part of not finishing tasks is because our brain can't stay engaged for that long. A good idea is to set some breaks. Ie: once I've finished this much of my project/once I've worked for this amount of time, I'll be able to take a 20 minute break. Then set a timer, and take your break. When on that break, it's important to stay off of things that will get you "hooked," or things that aren't easily stopped for you. Things like scrolling tiktok, watching shows, etc, tend not to be the best for you because you either "haven't finished the episode," or "it's only another 30 second video," etc. Things that make you get up and really take a mental break or physical break (depending on your task) are great. If I've been sitting for a while focusing, it's nice to go outside for a bit and put on some music or something. If I've been working outside, it's nice to come in and get some water and rest for a bit.

Hi, what would be your best tip to read more efficiently with ADHD? I just can’t read only one book at a time, because I’m getting bored very quickly. So I read a few pages in a book, then I switch to another book, and so on, so that it seems less annoying because it’s different books. Thanks.
Hello!!
I honestly I have no clue when this ask came to me. It might be months and months old. I'm bad at checking my notes because I don't really have this interaction anymore, so I'm very sorry!
I have no idea honestly, I don't have ADHD (as far as I know) so I'm no expert on this matter. But if someone reading this can relate, please reply!
The only thing I'll say is I stuggle so much with reading. It started after I turned 20 and it went downhill from there. I read like one book in a year because actually sitting down and just reading doesn't stimulate me in the slightest and I can't sit still.
What got me back into it after about four years was listening to books. Because then I could paint, clean and even play video games at the same time. It's easy to zone out of the story tho, so make sure you're doing something that doesn't take most of your focus. Now I like embroidering and podcasts.
Then after a while I got into just listening to Agatha Christie books. And because I loved her, I missed reading, so I slowly started buying physical books just to read her specifically. And she is the only author I've read for the past year. The reason I can read now is because she reminded me what I like about reading. I tried other authors but I went straight back into bored again. So try to find why you love reading, don't force yourself. It's also ok to just not read at all. There are so many hobbies out there! You might have also grown and don't find the genres interesting anymore. Think about what movies and shows you like and see if that lines up with the books you read. If it doesn't, maybe try something new and more similar to what you're watching?
What also helps is I only read on transport, for work mostly. It's the only time I feel like I can focus on a physical book. No way in hell I'll sit down at home and do it. I just absolutely can't.So find what works for you, adapt. Nothing says you HAVE to sit at home in bed with a blanket and a cup of tea (even tho the idea of it sounds nice). Reading isn't a mood and/or an aesthetic, reading is an activity very well suited for many locations and times.
Hope this helped!

Anon from last night:
Nah, I was not the anon who asked about a kink with Basim*.
I would send in a fic prompt about top!Desmond and bottom!Ezio but I have no actual ideas atm, it’s just a concept in my brain, but if I think of something I’ll send it.
If I could send a gif to convey how I felt about your smutty!headcanons it would be a gif of the end of the Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf Music video, when Shia give the one person standing ovation. *chefs kiss*. (I forgot to mention that altdes is also my ac otp last night). Everything that you put down I picked it up and was like ‘yes yes good’ and put it in my pocket like a shiny rock.
*ok, so like, to be honest (and adhd over shared mood activated), I haven’t played very many ac games. I’ve only completed ac1, and I played half of ac4 and then watched my brother beat it. I have watched other people play bits and pieces of other games, but I honestly know nothing about the newer games. That being said, I did in fact read your Desmond #destroys Basim fic and it was very very good, #goodsoup (why am I in an old memes mood today oof). I really liked how you did the whole Desmond (clone? Half?) and his Ancestors thing that was really good, and kinky and nice.
Mmm, one more thing before I go! Thanks for letting me know about the whole won’t post an ask if you ask thing, it’s really good to know! (I don’t….. need that for this ask, unless you just don’t feel like answering it🤣🤣🤣🤣).
Take your time with your prompt, nonny :)
Hahahaha, I'm glad you enjoy my headcanons. I had fun writing them.
Yeah, I can understand why some people don't play all the AC games. Honestly, AC wiki is a good site for summary (and TVTropes too).
Since we're sharing our AC games experience (long rant ahead), the first time I played Assassin's Creed was at my best friend's place and she just gave me the controller and told me to whack people with a broom as Ezio while... I think we were waiting for her printer to finish printing our report or something? I don't remember anymore, all I remember was my main idea of Assassin's Creed before was that I can whack guards with a broom that sounds like a freaking hammer. We were in college then and I was a pure 'JRPG' purist back then so I was really confused by what this game was supposed to be. I know it was related to Prince of Persia in some way and the only reason why I know about Prince of Persia back then was because I watched my brother play all the games on the PS2. How times have changed, hahaha. Anyway, it would be a couple of years before I even actually play AC1 and AC2, then half of AC Brotherhood before dropping it, only coming back like maybe 3 years ago to play the entirety of Syndicate and its DLCs because my childhood friend suggested I would love the Victorian-era setting (I did) and I've been buying AC games either 2nd hand or when it goes super cheap in PSN as they've been part of my backlog since my best friend was a huge fan (she stopped playing after AC3 though XD) so I have all of them just gathering (digital) dust. The truth is, I finished AC Brotherhood to Valhalla only like... last year. From September last year to January this year, in fact. While it's never too late to play the other games, I'm not going to tell you to play them if you don't have the time or if there are any games that you want to play more. I do believe that if you can't play a game, watching let's play (with or without commentary) is an okay alternative and sometimes you can let it play while maybe grinding on the game you're currently playing. (just, FYI, all of the AC games except AC1 are available for free if you are subscribed to PS+... I think the 2nd tier at least? Ezio's Trilogy to Valhalla is free in PS+ as far as I know.)
Anyway, back to the Basim fic. Thank you! I really enjoyed writing about Desmond (considering the narration calls the ancestors 'shades', I think it's okay to call him Desmond's shade as well) and his questionable relationship with the other shades.
No problem! And I like answering asks so, yeah, I'm posting this hahahaha

I just got my Samsung Z Fold 3 a day ago and so far shits been... Interesting... 😎
Obtaining the device!
So I ordered it unlocked and lavender straight from Samsung and I really liked their deals and payment plan options, particularly their 4 payment plan (splitting the cost into 4 payments, one every two weeks) so I don't have to get stuck with a 24 month commitment but I also don't have to fork over $1000 bucks upfront!
(Plus Samsung has lots of bonus deals, like they threw in a pair of galaxy live buds for free. They don't come with the phone as a default, but just something they threw in to sweeten the pot a bit more, and I kinda like these beans, I feel like they are way more comfortable than my gen 3 airpods and somehow feel like they won't give me tinnitus as bad as some other earbuds.
First impressions compared to last phone
The phone itself is interesting. I got a case with a ring on it and gave up my popsocket so I could utilize the wireless charging capabilities. It charges easy, though I am mourning the loss of my beloved aux cable port!! 😣
My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy A51 4G
The aux cable from my phone to my car has been my 1# favorite way to enjoy music, and even though my car has Bluetooth option, in the past I've been hesitant to use it because whenever I did in my siblings car, there would be a solid couple seconds of lag with YouTube videos and with pausing/playing music on Spotify, but maybe a better phone with a mightier processor might help with that!
But it is so much faster and the screen is really beautiful, it's fun to just watch it flex it's really cool
Also I really super love the fingerprint sensor being on the side of the phone and not on the screen!! I'm a Cheeto eating being!!! I don't wanna smudge my screen more than I have to!! (Also it's way quicker than waiting for your screen to turn on, register your thumbprint, only for you to have to reposition so it can read it again, etc)
Plus I love being able to close it and feel like the screen is protected from whatever's in my pocket, and not have to worry about accidently leaving the screen on and accidentally typing shit and draining the battery in my pocket!
An ADHDers perspective....
I REALLY LIKE TOUCHING THE CREASE!!!!
You'd be surprised how feeling the crease in the smooth plastic is like stimming sensation!! Like I just really like touching it and feeling the space where the top and bottom squares meet. The plastic is really smooth and soft and my brain just really likes the feeling of running my thumb over it.
Plus, the crease gives me a good idea of where my thumb is on the screen spacially. I think that's a good thing just because it is quite a tall phone, so knowing where the middle is just by touchjng it makes me instinctively want to grip it at or below the crease. Personally it makes me feel like I have a more solid grip on the phone.
Also just the act of opening and closing the phone or just bending it is almost a stimming sensation for me. Its just fun to hold it at a 90 degree angle like a Sci Fi star trek device, to watch something while it's on the wireless charger, or just to prop it up on my desk vertically.
THE OUTSIDE SCREEN
I dunno about you, but I think this works wonders for keeping me from getting lost in my phone when I'm just checking a notification. I glance at the cover screen, and make the active choice whether or not I wanna open up the phone and engage with it or not, which is WONDERFUL and keeps me from zoning out for an hour on my phone not even remembering what I was looking for in the first place.
The same goes for the time and the weather widget and timers and pausing and playing music.
Also phone speakers are GOOD AND LOUD!
----------
Closing thoughts!!!
The battery is a tad lacking but I'm getting a magsafe battery pack to compensate.
It's hard to say this any other way, but, only buy this phone if you WANT a folding phone! If you feel like opening it every time would annoy you or whatever else, then this isn't the phone for you.
On the other hand if opening and closing it would bring you joy, then this is a good phone for you. It runs really well. The only downfall would be the shorter than average battery life, but there are settings you can adjust to compensate and it will last you just fine.
♥️♥️♥️

Define That Are Used For Starting Your Dream House Internet Business
Bluetooth ideal for known for your increasing availability of wireless earbuds. The use of earpieces is more popular as states begin enforcing laws prohibiting use of phones in cars with out them. The state I live in doesn't possess a law to do this (yet), nonetheless personally couldn't drive my car and talk on the telephone without a bluetooth (my car's a manual). It's actually too difficult and risky. Everyone has unique talents to tell the industry. What are your yours? Craft your experiences into a great read, as well as could end up having royalty checks from a publisher throughout your time. All you need is your creativity and even a computer. Seeing that we can be found in the chronilogical age of the internet, consider writing an e-book as easily. I could've taken an image with my phone around the other hand would've been hard liposuction costs without pinching and zooming all within the place, which gets cumbersome after a little bit. This thing showed up life size. provide event wifi service It had been amazing. If I'd been near a Best Buy, I would've been cracking out the cardboard right so therefore. Once the artist is found, regarding the ideas of exactly what the tattoo look and feel like. They generally will write up the design and get the person returning in 2 or 3 days observe the final draft. Guaranteed it entirely what is wanted, when he can make adjustments for it. A career in events could watch you working on the television show, a fashion show, an active music festival, sporting events or events. All events need people with preferred skill, if you decide to think you've not got the ideal skills thing again. A percentage of jobs in this particular field are based around audio visual such as video technicians and venue technicians. Other sorts of jobs possess been in sales for sales managers, account managers and business development people. https://vnptvinaphone.net.vn/cho-thue-wifi-su-kien-vnpt-ha-noi-internet-hoi-nghi-mang-hop-truc-tuyen/ They also need venue finders, IT managers, coordinators and project managers. Some creative jobs such as 3D designers and Graphic artists are also part for the invents market segment. Here come the "Don'ts": don't wind up in watching the "Soaps", they've a powerful time wasting effect done to at this time; don't abuse food or chemicals, you could possibly get further depressed, gain excessive fat. Moving is really a nightmare, but almost everyone moves at last. Often this requires temporary downsizing while you search for just about any new home, and in many cases a house will be smaller rather than the last. Downsizing is especially common come retirement, but few consumers are ready to part their own extra stuff in a rush. This is the reason the storage business might be so profitable. Each unit might bring in a reliable monthly revenues.

The Stanley Parable iceberg explained in simple short words and not a video because god....
Tumblr media
A while ago I made this iceberg and said I would explain it in a video. I lied. Had like 5 major technical fuckups with it and then completely lost access to that hard drive so that plan flew out the window, but hey! I can try to explain it simply and quickly here. At least. It's nothing as in-depth as I think it should be, but it'll do as far as basic rundowns go.
Broom Closet - A very popular part of the game. Head through the left door and just before the stairs there will be a room marked "Broom Closet" that you can enter. Que funny dialogue.
The End Is Never - An infinitely loopable sentence that can sometimes display on the loading screen instead of "Loading Loading Loading".
Go Outside - An achievement acquired by not playing the game for 5 years. I'm never gonna get this one.
Out Of Bounds - "Ending" you can get by climbing on an employee desk, crouching, moving onto the desk right next to it, and jumping out the window. No I don't remember what number the desk is but it's the one with the pulled chair right beside the window in the first room outside Stanley's office.
Baby Game - In the Blue Door Ending, The Narrator has you play a game where you continuously press a button to stop a cardboard cutout of a baby from going up in flames. The Narrator says you should play it for about 4 hours, which you can actually do and get a separate Ending.
8 - Refers to a lot of things. Typically an edited voice clip of I think Davey Wreden saying "EIGHT". First showed up to my knowledge in the demo. The achievement in the full game if I recall correctly is acquired by just pushing "8888" into the keypad behind the desk repeatedly.
Random Rooms - The rooms you travel through in between important game content are randomized. Pretty sure William Pugh says it's to make the player feel like the game's more complicated or smarter than it actually is.
Input Received - An ending you get by finding computers in the office that say "awaiting input", pressing them, restarting, and doing it over and over until you end up in button heaven.
TM - If you check the game's captions, The Line™️ always has that "TM" after every reference to It™️. Weird gender.
The Beginner's Guide - Another game by Davey Wreden. Has some fanbase overlap with TSP. Very very good but doesn't have anything to do with TSP outside of a mention at the start of the game.
Demo - Game's got one. The whole thing's basically a big gag. The Narrator spends the whole demo trying to get the ACTUAL demo to start but it keeps going wrong and he keeps getting upset because without a proper demo, the player has no idea what they're getting into if they buy the game. The joke being that the demo is literally a perfect gateway into the full game.
Unused Dialogue Room - I'm always a whore for the unused dialogue. In the Museum Ending, there's a room you can visit with faint cut bits of narration for you to listen to. Technically a monologue. NOT EDITING THE PICTURE AGAIN
Raphael - An allegedly real man who allegedly really emailed the fictional character of The Narrator to tell him how bad he thought the original game was. Email was read and parodied in a trailer for the HD Remake. You should watch it it's very very funny.
Portal Assets - The game uses some. You can even spawn in companion cubes using the dev console and I think also get a portal gun.
Unachievable - An achievement in the game. You can actually get it but every time someone thinks they've figured out how the devs change how you get it. Sometimes awarded randomly.
Once You Go Secret - You Never Go Becret. A dumb phrase used throughout a few secrets in the game.
Serious Room - A room The Narrator will teleport you to if the game catches you trying to activate server cheats. The Narrator scolds you for trying to break the game. If you do it a second time you get more dialogue but after that it's not much until you restart.
3 Minutes Song - A song by Tim Minchin. There's a corner of the red screen that pops up when you turn on the mind control that has the end of a YouTube URL for this song. Joke is that the Explosion Ending lasts about 3 minutes.
Bark - Command you can enter into the console that changes all button press sounds to barking.
Bathroom Wall Writing - Sometimes the game will let you into the bathroom in the bosses office. The writing on the wall in there is randomized.
Aperture Experiment Theory - A theory that looks at the game through the lens of Portal canon and explains the game as a psychological experiment by Aperture Science.
Explosion Ending Buttons - Some buttons you can find in the Explosion Ending are references to other games.
Facepunch - Type this out at any point during the game (without pausing) and the game will swap most textures out with the Facepunch logo.
Whiteboard Ending - In one of the random rooms, you can open an employee door and enter the "Whiteboard Ending". Not an actual ending, just a room.
Clippy CCTV - On one of the CCTV monitors, Clippy makes a cameo. You can't really see it in game, but you can see it in the game files.
Monolith - For a while the very last part of the Baby Game Ending featured a strange, Kubrickeqsue black monolith. This was a glitch in the way the game displayed a door and has since been patched.
Vinh - Typing this during the credits triggers a weird easter egg that I'm pretty sure is probably an inside joke.
Alt. Escape Pod - A fan-modded alternate escape pod ending. Featuring the real Kevan Brighting!
Chell's Body - A glitch that can occur if you stand juuuust right (er. just wrong?) in a certain doorway. Allows you to see yourself in 3rd person, revealing that the playermodel is actually a glitched model of Chell.
Choice Video Changes - In the Not Stanley Ending, you'll encounter a video presentation about choice. You're introduced to a hypothetical real person named "Steven", and told he could either help or set fire to orphans and citizens of impoverished 3rd world nations. Originally, it featured him lighting an orphan's cigarette and then setting him on fire, but this was changed to be more subtle after a schoolteacher complained that the joke was insensitive and Davey Wreden agreed.
CCTV Room Pit - There is a large pit at the bottom of the CCTV room that you can actually jump into by climbing up on a chair. This is unintentional, so there's nothing down there.
Actual Unused Dialogue - I don't remember what this is referring to.
Second Stanley - Exiting the first part of the office fast enough will sometimes let you see a second Stanley walking his own path through a window. Some people theorize that this is actually another employee.
432 - Said other employee. Has a lot of very mysterious references to them throughout easter eggs and whatnot. Thought to have escaped before Stanley.
Demonstation - A typo the team accidentally made during the making of the demo, but they thought it was so funny that it stuck.
Dallas's Mask - An easter egg you can find in the Confusion Ending.
The Narrator And Stanley Are The Same Person - A theory about the game basically stating that The Narrator only exists as a part of Stanley's imagination, and is therefore Stanley himself.
Dr. Langeskov - A very similar (although shorter) game that William had a part in making. If you play both this and The Beginner's Guide, it'll give you a little insight into what parts of TSP were Davey's writing, and what parts were William's.
Hidden Dev Text - There's hidden dev comments and jokes in the game files. Particularly, there's a cup texture that features a full unseen rant from one of the texture artists.
1947 - Code to the keypad in the original version of the game. Putting it into the keypad in the HD version will trigger the old dialogue to play.
Purgatory Theory - Theory that Stanley is trapped in purgatory after having died.
The Narrator Hums In The Elevator - In the bosses office, there's a room that will sometimes open that features an elevator you can really walk into, though it doesn't go anywhere. If you stay here long enough, you can hear The Narrator hum along to the music and comment that he's getting bored.
Narrator Letter - A letter from The Narrator in the Collectors Edition guide book. Features his signature! I really recommend finding the book online and giving it a quick read it's great. Everything about this game is lovely.
Canceled Mobile Game - The Stanley Parable had a mobile game in the works that got canned because Davey Wreden didn't sense any passion or love for the project from the team working on it.
DOTA 2 - There's a Narrator announcer pack for this game. You can find the full pack on YouTube and it's very charming and funny.
Broken Short Start - A glitch that can occur at any time but is known to occur on fresh installs of the game. Activated by getting the shortest randomized office, (the one that's just a hallway) standing in the doorway just before the two doors room and just kind of moving wrong. It'll lock you inside the office until you restart. As you could maybe tell, the game doesn't load doorways very gracefully.
Octodad - If you look up at the ceiling during that part of the demo where everything's going to hell in a handbasket, you can see Octodad. I don't know why!
Maladaptive Daydream Theory - Maladaptive Daydreaming is a psychological condition wherein the sufferer daydreams so often and for such incredible periods of time that it becomes detrimental to their daily life. This can escalate to the point that the person starts to have trouble distinguishing memories of daydreams with memories of things that happened in reality. This is explored a little bit in the game, where in one ending, the game is revealed to be an elaborate daydream Stanley is having that is bleeding into his home and work life so much that it's ruining him.
Narrator Loudspeaker - All Narrator dialogue is actually coming from a loudspeaker aways just out of bounds in each map. This likely has nothing to do with game canon and is just the easy way to get dialogue to play with the engine the devs used.
Collectors Edition - A limited edition physical copy of the game distributed by Indiebox. Came with a lot of limited merch.
Soundtrack Titles - Refering to the idea that all of the titles for the game's soundtrack are from The Narrator's perspective.
Franz - A guy who existed? Who maybe died? It's very weird. You can find more info about it on the TSP Wiki.
Demo Surveys - Though hard to see, there are papers lying about in the demo waiting room that feature surveys filled out by Davey and William.
Workplace Harassment In Menu Audio - There's audio of a busy office workplace constantly playing on the main menu. A few people noticed that you can hear a guy being scolded by his boss in the background and some people say it sounds like he's being let off the hook for workplace harassment. There was an Oddheader video that featured this discovery and he pulled a classic YouTuber move and asked "why on earth they'd put this in the game" but I think it was probably stock audio thrown in last minute that nobody cared to check and the guy who made it just recorded his office for a while to sell for a quick buck.
Reddit AMA - Held by Davey, William, and Kevan one day. You can still find the full post. Has a lot of funny moments.
Hi Timmy! - A weird text file you can find in the game.
4 Jokes - Okay so during a talk William Pugh did on stealing ideas and masking uncleverness he told the story of a game called "4 Jokes". It's a ridiculous, hilarious, and very obviously fictional story, but I have no idea if the game it was based on actually existed. As far as I know, it didn't.
NA NA N AN ANA NA - A strange bit of unused/placeholder text for the Baby Game Ending.
Lost Mobile Content - By way of the game being canceled, we have no idea what a lot of the content looked like, but when the cancelation announcement was made on the now defunct blog for Galactic Cafe, Davey released some interesting clips of Narrator lines that would never see the light of day. Because these were never archived by the wayback machine, unless someone has them archived personally, these previews are lost to time.
ui\office_soundscape.wav - A "glitch" in the game that causes the whole game to lock up and not start if it detects a problem with the file "ui\office_soundscape.wav". This is actually caused by the game failing a Steam validity check. Though Davey claims that he has no idea how this happened, it's thought by many to be an attempt at DRM. It doesn't work very well, if that's the case, because it's known to trigger on legitimate copies of the game. It happened on my copy just by me not being on the internet for a bit too long (about a year).
And that's it! There's probably gonna be more when Ultra Deluxe comes out, but that's for another time. Thanks for reading

I love everyone single of my followers and readers who took the time to read my content. Tumblr media
A= Admiration (How do they admire you? What is their thoughts about you? What is their reaction in meeting you for the first time? Do they instantly like you?)
Gojou loves staring at you and he's not afraid if he gets caught.
Even if you're doing chores or you're laughing with the first years. You could of just woken up with messy hair, drool dried on the corner of your mouth and he'll still think you're the most beautiful person in the world.
When he stares at you it's as if the world slows down and everyone goes in slow motion. He'll notice the twinkle in your eyes or how you suddenly shifted to your right. As he's in a trace where his hearts flutters at the sight of you.
His Six Eyes will notice even the tiniest detail about you.
Even in a crowded room his eyes will immediately try to find your form. You're the first person he seeks whenever and wherever.
He likes to boast about you to everyone, especially his students. You're his lover and he's proud to have you.
To him, you're his equal, his safe haven. You're the only person he can truly let his guard down with. You love him not because "he's the strongest shaman" but just as "Satoru" and that's something he thinks about that makes him feel all warm inside.
You're his everything, he wouldn't know what would he do if he ever loses you. If Gojou truly loves you he will fully commit to it.
You and Gojou didn't exactly start off on the right foot.
You thought he was too arrogant and annoying.
While he thought you were weak and boring.
You quickly proved that wrong, and his perception of you changed. He would often tease you and find opportunities to spar with you.
You slowly started to grow on each other from rivals to lovers.
He's still annoying though.
B= Bestie (Do they act like best friends while dating? How comfortable are they with you?)
Why absolutely! You guys are lovers at the same time bestfriends.
Gojou is very comfortable around you. He's pretty confident man already but when he's around you there's no breaks for this man.
He will do the wackiest and craziest things just see you laugh and smile.
You both tell each other everything, such as recent turn of events or even student gossip. He loves to gossip.
You can expect him to wake you up at 2 am just to go to McDonald's while blasting music from the car while you both sing on top of your lungs.
Of course there will be moments where both have arguments or disagreements but they don't last long. They get solved pretty easily.
"Wanna get icecream?"
"Fine, but you're playing."
Gojou can be quite obnoxious at times and you're not afraid to let him know. He doesn't listen and still annoy you anyways.
But now you should be used to his antics and don't take them too seriously.
There is no such thing as a boundary for this man.
He can literally become your safe haven during sad times or hell as he tickles you until you cry.
C= Cuddles (How often do they cuddle? How are they when they cuddle? What cuddle position do they like best? Are they the Big Spoon or Little Spoon?)
If he could, Gojou would always want to be cuddling with you. Whenever and wherever you both are.
He loves the feeling of having you in his arms or him in your arms. His home is where your arms are. It's one of the moments where his Infinity isn't activated.
He wrap his long limps around you and bring you as physically close as possible so he can nuzzle against you or press kisses to you.
Whenever he's in a cuddling mood or he's feeling stressed he'll come to find you and pull you to the nearest chair. He'll have you sit in his lap while he embraces you tightly. He won't go until he's satisfied too!
He usually prefers to be the bigger spoon, he likes the idea that you're safe within his arms. Sometimes he'll just stare at you while you sleep, smiling to himself as he drifts off to sleep.
If you're both in bed you must cuddle! It's a rule he made up.
He doesn't being the little spoon either, he loves the feeling of when you playing with hair. He truly feels comfortable and vulnerable within your arms.
He can't decide with position he likes best, he just likes the feeling of your body close to his.
D= Domestic (Are they willing to settle down with you? Are they willing to do chores? What do you two do at home?)
Gojou never thought he would settle down. That is until he met you!
With his busy and dangerous lifestyle, he thought he would spend the rest of his days alone.
Being with him, is a huge risk. The higher ups or the enemies would use you as a bargaining chip.
After lots of convincing, that you'll promise to be by his side forever. You'll have his heart now and forever.
Gojou when he's at home...he's lazy. He'll be munching on some snacks, lying on the sofa while you hang the laundry.
Somedays he's tired from work, so you let him be but if he really isn't doing anything. Some threats work really well on him.
"If you don't don't do the laundry, you're sleeping on the sofa tonight!"
"Then I'm off to do it!"
Having growing up with servants, he's not used to doing household chores.
But he will try, because he doesn't want you take take on the full workload. Teach him, he's a fast learner!
At home, within your arms is where he feels safest. Majority of the time you two would be in contact with each other one way or another.
You're watching tv? He's sitting you with his arm around your shoulder. If you're cooking, he'll come and unexpectedly hug you from behind. This man craves your touch.
Watching movies or television is something you both do very often, you'll both be snuggled up together, while Gojou throws commentary here and there.
Cooking or baking is another thing you both do. Majority of the time you both rarely get to spend together due to Gojou's work schedule. Who ever arrives home first will have to make dinner. However, you two are both at home you both help each other make a delicious dessert or meal. Nothing like eating a home cooked meal together.
Playing video games together is a must! You're his player number 2. He's very competitive so if he wins, it's non stop boasting but if he loses he demands an immediate rematch. Mario Kart or Super Smash Brothers is some the common ones you both play.
E= Endeavor (Are they supportive in you trying to do something? Will they help you reach for it?)
Gojou Satoru is known to be your literal hype man.
He will be very supportive of you and what you're trying to accomplish. As long as it's not something like becoming a murder. He's gonna have to do a double take on that.
If you're gonna become a piano, he'll have a grand piano delivered straight to your home. If you're gonna become an artist, he will buy you the best art supplies.
As they say "live your life to the fullest" and Gojou completely agrees with that statement.
If you're trying to learn something new, he will be encouraging you. There are times where he can be a little but don't take it to heart. He just wants you to improve and sugarcoating things isn't always the best way to improve.
If you're feeling down but you're trying to achieve, he'll be there to comfort you and motivate you.
"Things won't always go your way, but I promise I'll be there to cheer you on."
If you're trying to learn a new skill, he might have a go at it too. He's a fast learner but if he doesn't or can't do something, he'll just blame it on the fact that if he does it then he's gonna become perfect so he chooses not to. It's just to save his huge ego.
F= Fights (How often do you guys fight? Who apologizes first? How long will the fight last? What is the reason behind the fight?)
You guys argue pretty often but they're mostly about trival issues. Like Gojou forgot to take out the trash or who cooks today.
If you both do fight seriously. It would definitely have to do with "work". Because of Gojou's busy schedule you're not sure when will he be back home or when he will be gone. If you both have very different schedules it would definitely lead to some misunderstandings.
If you realize you did something wrong you'll apologize to him right away. While he spouts things like "I told you so!" but he's only teasing.
If he realizes he did something wrong it'll take him a while for him to admit it. Depending on the seriousness of the situation his apology will differ.
If it's something trivial, he'll just pepper you with kisses while says sorry a hundred times.
If it's serious, he'll fully embrace you and apologize, straight to the point no needless words.
Trivial fights don't last long but serious one may take time. Depending on who's wrong or right.
Gojou is a stubborn person so even if he's wrong it'll take him a while to admit it. Maybe days or a week but no longer than that. After all he can't resist not being around you.
G= Guard (Are they protective of you? How protective are they? Are they willing to risk themselves to save you?)
This depends whether you're a shaman or a civilian.
If you are a civilian, he will be very protective of you. You don't have the ability to see curses so who knows what or when can hurt you.
He'll take sure to put lots of talismans and barriers around your home for safety.
Gojou due to his busy work schedule won't always be home or be around you. During these days he's worried sick about you.
He'll be sure to message or call you whenever he can to check up on you.
If he truly senses you're in danger, no matter what he'll go to you instantly. After that happens he'll more frightened of losing you and might resort to leaving you.
Despite how much he loves you, you're life is more precious than him. He can't risk that by being around you.
If you're a shaman just like him, he won't be as protective over you. He'll understand and trust that you'll be able to defend yourself.
He'll make sure to spar with you so that you won't lose in touch in fighting.
Even though he knows you can take care of yourself, in his heart he still worries for you. So he may or may not pop up randomly during your missions and exorcise the curse immediately.
You may end up getting annoyed or mad at him because you may think he thinks you're weak but that's not the case. He just loves you and worries about you.
Whether you're a civilian or shaman, Gojou will 100% risk his life to save you. He's lost so many people, he can't afford lose you too.
If you're out in public, he'll be sure to be holding your hand or have an arm around your waist. He'll glare at anyone who looks at you funny through his sunglasses.
Gojou has a massive presence so good luck to anyone who tries to approach you. They gotta get through him first.
H= Healing (What is their reaction in you getting hurt? Do they get hurt often? Do they help you patching you up? Or do they not know how to patch you up, and tries their hardest?)
Gojou hates seeing you hurt in anyway. Even if it's a tiny wound. It's kinda like if you're hurt he's hurt too. That's his way of thinking.
If you get injured during a mission, you can bet Gojou will be all over you.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"For the hundred time, yes..."
Despite your assurance that are fine, he'll still insist to take you to Shoko just to be safe.
If it's a trivial wound like you accidentally cut yourself or you stubbed your toe. Gojou will be the one to take care of the wound. He does have basic knowledge on how to treat wounds.
If it's a severe wound, he'll instantly bring you to Shoko. He'll teleport all the way from Hokkaido to Tokyo if he has to.
He doesn't know how to use the Reverse Cursed Technique but at the moment when you're dying in his arms he will try his best to.
He will literally become your human shield if he knows things are dire.
If he sees an enemy wound you, well it's gonna be game over for the enemy. Instant oblivion.
It is known that Gojou has his Infinity activated at all times, so he doesn't ever get hurt whether from missions or trivial issues.
Very rare but when he does turn off his Infinity he can get hurt but it's because he let's it happen.
He still gets sick from time to time because that's something his Infinity can't protect him from.
I= Intimacy (How romantic are they? Do you two often go on dates?)
Gojou as we all know is very affectionate and romantic person.
He's very cheesy and likes to tease you just to see you blush.
He can't keep his hands off of you, he has to be touching you even just by lacing your fingers together. He also likes to stand near you often behind you or right beside you.
Gojou goes all over Japan for his missions and he makes sure to always bring a souvenir home for you whether it's a little trinket or something you'll like. Definitely will buy sweets, he'll share just a little though.
You'll often be surprised with deliveries of bouquets at work addressed to you but not written from who but you know who it is.
This man is extremely rich, so you ever have an eye on something, he'll secretly buy it for you.
When you're cold, he'll give you his jacket or hug you to keep you warm. If you're feeling hot under the sun, use this man as your personal shade. He doesn't mind.
It's rare for the both of you to have day offs at the same time so it's always something special to him.
He'll either take you out shopping or a cafe date.
He loves going around Tokyo with you to different places and secretly takes pictures of you when you're not looking.
If you don't feel like going anywhere he's fine with just cuddling you while watching a movie.
Gojou just has a sense for you if you're feeling down or stressed. He'll instantly know and would try to make you feel better.
He can cook your favorite meal or even give you a massage.
He's not shy to show the world how much he loves you, everyone in the Jujutsu society knows about you two.
J= Jealousy (How often do they get jealous? Do they get easily jealous? How will they react?)
Gojou doesn't get jealous easily. He trusts you and knows the things you do and won't do. However, on rare occasions it does happen but he won't directly voice it out.
"I'm the strongest most handsome shaman ever!" But behind that he still has insecurities. It usually depends on the person you're interacting with. If he sees you getting a little too close to someone, he'll step inーcausally stepping in between the two of you. A hand around your waist around strangers and a full on back hug around people he knows.
If a stranger tries to pick you up, he'll swoop right in towering the poor stranger. He knows he's attractive and he knows show to use it.
"Pay attention to me (Y/N), not Nanami!.
"Satoru, we're talking the recent sighting of a grade 1 cursed spirit."
Afterwards he'll just be very whiny and needy, he wants your full attention on him and him only!
K= Kissing (Do they like kissing you? Are they shy or confident in kissing you?)
Gojou Satoru loves all forms of affection. Kissing being one of them.
Gojou has had experience with kissing so he knows what he's doing. One moment he'll be kissing you sweetly then it turns into a full blown make out session.
He's not embarrassed about kissing you in public. Despite the Japanese culture of being conservative of PDA. He won't be making out with you in front of the entire crosswalk but he'll give you pecks or smooches that last a moment or two.
Whenever he leaves for work, he'll always ask for his goodbye kiss or when he's back home he'll be eagerly waiting for your kiss.
Whenever you both pass by each other whether at home or at school, he'll press a chaste kiss to you.
His tongue is divine, he definitely knows how to use his tongue. You can bet he knows how to tie a cherry into a knot using just his tongue.
You will always taste something sweet lingering on him as you kiss him.
He doesn't have a specific type of kiss he likes, he likes them all as long as they're with you. Forehead kisses, cheek kisses, eskimo kisses you name it!
He will definitely will to try out all forms of kisses with you.
L= Love (Who drops the L-word first? Would they rather say it or do it?)
Love is a complicated feeling, Gojou hasn't felt that before with any of his past relationships.
That was until he met you. That's when he realized that what the feeling was.
You were cuddling in bed together, face to face. There was no talking just silence as the two of you stare deeply into each other's eyes. Only the light of the moonlight peaking through the curtains illuminating the room.
Gojou stares into your eyes with a soft smile on his face as he gently lays his hand on your cheek.
Your eyes held the universe within them, the universe that is you and it's staring back at him with so much love and affection within them. He feels the warmth spread throughout his body. He whispers softly "I love you..." as his own eyes reflect yours.
You gasp with eyes widening, processing the words he spoke. You feel your eyes well up in tears, as your cheeks warm. You place your hand over his and whisper back "I love you too.." smiling brightly at him.
That was the moment when he first told you he loved you, it was so genuine and raw.
Afterwards he'll always voice out that he loves you but of course he shows it as well. He'll call you beautiful while pressing a kiss to your forehead.
M= Marriage (How do they propose to you? What’s their ideal wedding like? Where do you plan it?)
Gojou is a very spontaneous man, I can imagine him doing it during the most mundane and random moments. Such as after you're both walking home from a date or maybe it's late into the night while you're both cuddling.
Maybe moments where you're hurt or if he almost lost you.
"Marry me, (Y/N)..."
It's just a spur of the moment kind of thing, when he's the most vulnerable. When he realizes "ah, I want to spend the rest of my life with this person..."
Gojou is pretty flexible with the kind of wedding he wants. He doesn't really have a dream wedding.
The elders of his clan would definitely bug him for a Traditional one as it is customary.
However, if you want a Western style wedding instead he will definitely go for it.
Mostly likely, you both will have two weddings one traditional and western.
Money is different not an issue with this man. Say the word and you shall receive. It's definitely going to be extravagant.
Whether you want to or not he'll find a way to splurge his money.
If the elders are opposed to your marriage you'll both will just have a private wedding, inviting the people closest to you guys.
Not marrying you because someone said no is not an option for him.
N= Nicknames (What do they call you? Do they call you these in public as well? How often do they call you in nicknames?)
Gojou has a variety of nicknames for you!
Ranging from the typical baby, babe, sweetie, darling and honey.
Or something more sweet such as princess/prince, my love, my dearest.
And there's those really cringey ones such as sugarpie, cupcake, my strawberry cheesecake.
He will literally call you by any dessert name.
"Hey, my kikufuku!" Yup, that's you.
If you're shorter than him you can add shorty, short stuff or munchkin to the list.
When he uses them usually depends on the situation. If he's feeling really affectionate or needy he'll be using the really sweet nicknames.
Sometimes he'll even come up with the most ridiculous ones as much as it embarrasses you.
Usually he'll just call you using the common nicknames. He will only use your real name during serious situations.
He's not shy about proclaiming you as his chocolate cupcake. Not even in front of his students or colleagues.
"Are you referring to (L/N) sensei?" "Bingo!"
You've tried to beg him to stop but the man doesn't listen.
O= Open (How open are they with you? Are they willing to share their secrets and past with you? Do they trust you?)
Gojou despite being a man who loves to talk does not like talking about his private life or his past.
It's very personal information to him and he doesn't want the information to fall into the wrong hands.
If anyone asks about it he'll either ignore the question or answer it very vaguely.
You would have to be someone has spent years by his side to be to attain that level of trust with you.
There are some things in his past that isn't easy to talk about, even though it doesn't bother him now. If you ask he will tell you about it briefly.
If it's information not regarding his secrets or his past, he doesn't sharing those details. If you wanna about his mission or want to check his phone, he will let you. He has nothing to hide except the secret pictures he takes of you.
He in return trusts you as well, but he won't pry into things you don't want to talk about.
If you manage to gain his trust enough for him to reveal personal information about him, don't break it. If you do, you will never be able to gain it back.
P= PDA (Are they into PDA? Do they often do it? Their reaction if you hold their hands or kiss them in public.)
Gojou is into PDA but he doesn't flaunt it as often as you think. He won't be making out with you in the middle of the school hallway but he will press chaste kisses to you.
He's not afraid to hug you or hold your hand around the faculty or students.
He won't do something inappropriate in public he likes to keep that in private. Through sometimes he will because he likes seeing you embarrassed while you desperately ask him to stop. Trying not to gain the attention of the people around you.
He also likes seeing the reactions of other people when he does display affection towards you but mostly he does it to see your cute reactions.
If you initiate hand holding with him, he will definitely hold your hand back tightly. If you kiss him, he'll be surprised but then he's quick to tease you about it.
"Oya, is my cupcake getting bold~?"
If anyone looks at you two with disgust he will yell out "you got a problem?"
He's not shy to show the world he loves you.
Q= Quirk (Do they find your quirks adorable or odd? Do they tell you or not? Do they have a quirk of their own?)
Nothing escapes his keen eyesight. He'll notice and remember a lot of your quirks even the ones you're unconsciously doing.
He thinks its absolutely adorable, like how you furrow your eyebrows in concentration how you pout when you're deep in thought.
All these little quirks make you who you are and he adores them.
Gojou will tell you about them of course, even if you try to deny it. If you don't believe he'll try to take a picture to show you which ends up making you really embarrassed.
"I can't help it, I don't even know that I'm doing that..." you whisper with a blush on your face.
Gojou has a quirk of fiddling with his blindfold or his sunglasses if he's wearing them.
Definitely a fan of putting his hands in his jacket or hands while he stands or walks. He doesn't like the feeling of his hands being empty.
R= Reliable (Are they loyal? How loyal are they? Are they there for you when you need someone?)
Gojou is a very honest and down to earth kind of guy. Of course, loyalty is something he firmly commits to.
Cheating is something he won't resort to at all costs. No woman or man is tempting enough for him to be swayed.
We all know he is a good looking guy, he's bound to attract suitors anywhere but he'll turn them all down. He already has you, why would he need anyone else?
There are times where you might feel insecure or jealous but Gojou will always be there to assure you not to. He'll do his best to comfort you, until you're smiling again.
"You're the only one I need..."
During these times he'll even share his precious sweets with you. He'll feed you cake while hugging you from behind.
Have faith in him because whenever you need him, he'll make sure to be there.
S= Solace (How do they comfort you? Do they immediately notice you being sad?)
Gojou just has sense whenever you're feeling sad, even though you try your hardest to hide it.
He just sees through your facade. He won't ask if you're okay when he clearly knows you'll try to lie about it.
If you're trying to avoid him, he'll either pin you against the wall or pull you into his embrace.
He'll be silent as he takes off his blindfold to stare deep into your eyes, how could you lie when those eyes are looking straight at you.
He won't ask you about what's bothering you but he will always be there to comfort you.
Gojou would pull you into his lap on his expensive chair and cradle you like child as he gently caresses your hair.
Ligerning forehead kisses is also he does to comfort you.
Gojou would also bring his sweets stash and slowly feed you some while he hugs you from behind. If you want food, he'll be glad to cook up your favorite meal.
He knows a lot of cringy and cheesy jokes, in which ends up with him laughing at his own jokes. His laughter is contagious so wouldn't be able to hold back a smile after that.
T= Turn-off (What do they dislike in people? What is their turn-off?)
Gojou hates the old way of thinking he finds in elders especially the elders of his clan and the jujutsu society.
He doesn't like anything anything serious or boring. If you're too uptight, he'll find a way to break that.
Another thing he hates is when people do something behind his back or say something behind his back. If you have something to say, then say it straight it to him.
Routine is another thing he dislikes, he's very spontaneous and looks for the fun in things.
He dislikes vegetables and anything bitter. He's a lover of sweets afterall!
Prying too much into his personal life, as proud as he isーhe doesn't like going around talking much about his private life or his past.
U= Umbrageous (Do they easily get offended by what you said? How will they react when you get hurt by what they said?)
Now if you mean playful gets offended then the answer would be yes. If you're seriously trying to offend him, he won't. He's not the type to take things like that to heart.
Call him an idiot, a narcissist, he will playful hold his chest in pain and whine to you while he pouts.
He'll even tease you back if he feels like it.
"Sorry, did you say something~?"
Even though he doesn't take insults to heart, if you use his past against him, he will take offense to it. His past is something he doesn't want to bring up so if you or anyone brings it up. That changes things.
He tries to keep the optimism but he's only human with emotions so there will be times you could offend him.
If you managed to offend him, he'll be unusually quiet as he dwells on your words.
He won't resort to anger but that doesn't mean he won't at times. That's when he's firing insults back you, blinded by rage. He will regret it afterwards though.
V= Vision (What do they imagine their future? What is their dream? Do they want to spend it with you?)
If Gojou truly loves you, he'll definitely would want to spend the rest of his life with you by his side. Somewhere where he doesn't have to be on guard and would always welcome him with open arms.
Yet at the same time he is afraid of the dangers that come associated with him. If you're a civilian he'll try to distance himself away from you. He's afraid one day when he's not around, someone might come after you. His world is completely different from that of a normal person's afterall.
If you work in the same field as him. He'll definitely be more reluctant to push you away, because he knows you can handle yourself. It lessens his worries.
Still life as a shaman is still as dangerous, you're putting your lives at risk every time you go on a mission. The thought of losing you scares him to the very core.
Despite that he still loves you and if can't be with you he would like to associated with you someway maybe as acquaintances or friends.
He dreams of a world without cursed spirits, where he can live a peaceful life, settle down and start a family with you.
In a world crowded with darkness he dreams of a single ray of solace that is you.
Someone that will stay by his side no matter how difficult it will be.
W= Wacky (What is their reaction in you doing something crazy? Will they join you or stop you?)
Gojou Satoru is a man child, he does the most ridiculous of things like wearing a skirt of a highschool student.
If you're the type of person who's just as energetic and wild as him, it's going to be chaos.
You both will pull pranks on the students and faculty. Poor Ijichi being one of your primary targets.
If you're the type of person who's more on the serious side then he'll be shocked by your suggestion.
But of course he's willing to join in whatever plot you have.
Gojou already gives the higher ups a headache, if you're added to the mix it's going to end up being a massive headache.
He lost count of the amount of times he got scolded by Principal Yaga.
He can come up with the wildest ideas and sometimes you will have to become his break.
Principal Yaga specifically asked you to keep him in check after all.
X= Xtra (Random Headcannon about them)
Gojou Satoru has a driver's license. In fact he even owns several cars.
Of course, they're all the expensive ones because he thinks they look cool.
Does he use them? Not that often, when you literally have the ability to teleport or have Ijichi to drive you around.
As you expect he's a fast driver, you will literally be griping your seatbelt for dear life. It looks like he's gonna crash but he won't. He just likes to scare you.
Of course there's a stash of candy and extra pairs of sunglasses in the glovebox.
Gojou is surprisingly a great cook. You would think being raised with servants he wouldn't know how to cook but he does.
He studies the recipe very carefully and cooks. It's as if he has a natural talent for cooking.
At first, you were pretty skeptical of his cooking but once you had of bite of his dish. You could feel the literal flavors explode on your tongue.
When it's his turn for him to cook, expect him to be wearing a cute apron while blasting music from his speaker.
He'll be singing and dancing in the kitchen.
Hug him from behind while he cooks and he'll melt right then and there. Trying to hide a blush from you.
Y= Yearning (Do they long for you? Will they find themselves missing you while you’re away? If so, how will they cope with it?)
Even though you haven't seen each other for a day he terribly miss you. Your just gives him warm and when you're not there he feels cold.
He goes on missions very often and they can last days or even weeks depending on the case. He'll try to update you as much as he can on when he could come home.
Even when he's in the middle of fighting cursed spirits, he'll find his mind wondering towards you.
If he's away from you, you'll be getting calls and texts from him quite frequently. He'll make sure to always greet you good morning or good night and ask how you are.
He'll always ask if you've eaten or not and asks you to send a picture of your meal to prove it to him. He needs to know you're being well fed.
If you think he talks too much he texts just as much. He'll even take random selfies of himself or something interesting he wants you to see.
If you send him a selfie or video he'll save that so fast and save that to his folder. So he can look through them whenever he misses you.
If it's a long mission, he might pack one of your shirts which has your scent so he could take a whiff to calm himself or cuddle as he sleeps.
After a mission if he's not tired yet, he'll video call you every now and then.
He'll try to come back as fast as possible because he doesn't feel complete without your presence.
Z= Zzz (Do they fall asleep easily? Do they move around while sleeping? What sleeping position do they like best?)
If we are talking about the past Gojou, maybe around his youth then no. He had difficulty sleeping because sleeping meant he's vulnerable to attacks.
This is why relies mostly on sweets to stimulate his brain because there are days where he can't sleep at all. His powers drain a lot of energy to keep up.
Once he could run Infinity automatically, he doesn't have any trouble sleeping at all. In fact, he passes out instantly once his head hits the pillow.
The man works hard and goes on tons of missions so of course he's bound to be tired when he gets home.
Gojou Satoru is 190 cm tall so of course he has a large king sized bed at home. He likes having a lot of space but he tends to move around a lot unconsciously.
There have been times where he has fallen off the bed as well.
If you're sleeping with him and want to prevent him from taking all the bed space, you both cuddle that way his limbs are locked on you.
His likes to sleep laying on his back while you lay on your chest or embracing you from behind as you both sleep on your sides.
It's very rare from him to snore but that doesn't mean he doesn't and when he does, it's loud.
However sleeping with him has it's benefits, if you wake up before him you'll be graced by the most angelic view. As he breathes softy while his long white eye lashes remain closed.
If he does wake up you will also be graced by his morning voice which is divine.

Scene Stealer
Tumblr media
Pairing: Rafael Casal x Reader
Word Count: 1.6k
Warnings: Minors DNI, a little angst, some language, a smidge of jealousy, but mostly just fluff! No smut! 😃 All errors my own.
A/N: This an ask from @wreakhavoconmacroissantdiggs for the Show Runner AU.  I really love these two. Hope you enjoy, Loves! 💚
Read the previous part, Sundancer .
Hi lovely! Idk if your still doing requests right now? If you are can I have a fluffy/soft-ish moment between Rafa and reader? In the Showrunner AU and reader is actively filming a scene and Rafa's being difficult, lol
Your relationship was the talk of the town, especially since you accompanied Rafael on the red carpet of his latest win; it also happened to be your first nomination.
Ever since you went public, you were content with being ‘partners.’ You, especially, said there was no need for anything more. You didn’t want to tie Rafael to you, because you didn’t own him.
Art was the most important thing, not a conflict diamond and a piece of paper.
Rafael quickly agreed. After all, it had been his manifesto. You two had a perfect understanding. Until you got this role.
This gig required you to dance, and you hadn’t used your classical training in a while. You were nervous as hell.
“Who does music videos with this big a budget any more?”
You just rolled your eyes as Rafa as he delivered the shade. He would never outright say that he didn’t want you to do it; he always supported you, but you could tell it bothered him.
There was a slight tension in the air in the days leading up to filming, but you both pretended nothing was up. You were busy with rehearsal, so you brushed the thoughts of this shift in your relationship aside.
Maybe he was a little tight because you told him that the singer could definitely get it during a cast party before you two were a thing. Except in Rafael’s mind.
Rafa had taken mental notes on everything about you, and this one he didn’t forget. But, he loved you, and he was going to ride for you.  Right?
----------------
On the day of the shoot, Rafa pulled up to the studio at about 1:30. He agreed to meet you there when you invited him for moral support.  You’d been there since 11 am.
He shook his head to himself as he was shown to your dressing room, lamenting the fact that he didn’t bring Diggs, because he would be the one needing moral support today.
Rafael knocked on the door and heard you say, "Come in!"
He walked in and saw you in a big, poofy, but short wedding dress. A more elaborate ballet tutu, but still definitely a wedding dress. Rafael was thrown for a loop, so he just stood there, taking you in.  He felt like he was breaking a rule, looking at you in this dress.
You looked absolutely amazing.
The make up artist was working on you, but you turned around and grinned when you saw him in the mirror.
Rafa felt like he needed to sit down.
"What do you think?"
Rafael actually couldn't think. He looked down and noticed that you had your pointe shoes on. They matched your skin tone perfectly and extended your lovely legs.
He began to feel warm, a heat which began in his chest and radiated throughout his entire torso. But he was a thug.  He tried to express it.
"You look beautiful...."
His throat was dry. What the fuck was wrong with him?
To you, Rafa looked a bit like a fish, his mouth opening and closing with no sound coming out.
"What?" You cocked your head at him.
Rafa recovered and moved toward you. ‘Keep your cool,’ he thought.
You  shrugged at him, turned back around to the mirror, and continued.
"I would never actually wear anything like this. It's too poofy and big. Too princess-y. Not my style." You grimaced.
"You look beautiful." It finally came out.
Rafael smiled, feeling an overwhelming desire to kiss you. The makeup artist exited and Rafa was left staring at you in the mirror again. You were a vision.
He cleared his throat, deciding to lighten the mood.
"Can I climb under that dress and do what I want to do?"
You threw your head back and laughed. Once again, Rafael was caught in your spell.
"I'm working babe, but we can arrange something later..."
‘Whatever you say, my love,’ Rafael thought.
But what he said was, "Cool."
--------
When filming started, Rafael stood out of the way behind the camera to watch. It was a church scene and apparently what you had to do was dance down the aisle to the altar for the wedding scene.
You were lowkey checking for Rafa, and everytime you looked over, he was glowering at you, the set up, or back seat directing. You could read him like a book, and he was not amused or positive about this.
That only made you more tense and out of the zone. You began to regret inviting him.  What was his problem? Was he jealous? He was being an ass, and you were going to tell him about himself later.
You ignored him as you stretched to get ready for another take. You were not going to let him ruin this for you.
---------
Rafael saw you and melted. He watched, mesmerized, as you danced toward the star of the video. Rafael’s heart clenched when you reached them and kissed them lightly on the lips.
It happened at least six times for the different takes and angles, and Rafa had visions of dragging you away from there, but he remained calm.
Rafael had no idea that his emotions were so loud. All pretense, all acting skills, all professionalism went out of the window the moment he saw you in that wedding dress.
He just did not think this production was up to the standard of you. And he caught on to the interactions between you and the star of the video between takes. It was not cool
You  ran through a couple more takes and finally it was time for the last scene, the love scene.
You were whisked back into your dressing room for a wardrobe change. Rafa paced up and down in the hallway to calm himself down. After a few minutes he thought it worked.
Until you came back out.
You were in the sexiest black nightgown he'd ever seen. And those heels. You looked hot as fuck. But when he looked into your eyes, it was clear that you were terrified.
"Rafa, I don't think I can do this. I'm not feeling it…” Nerves were getting to you.
“They are sooo not like I thought they were. They're kind of…. There’s no chemistry. And I’m a hack actor if I can’t do this…”  You bowed your head, ashamed.
Rafa hooked his fingers under your chin and brought your head up. He looked at you sternly. He was angry. But not at you.
“Energy up. Expectations down.”
You tried to respond with a brave smile, but you were really about to burst into tears. Rafael grabbed your hand and pulled you back into your dressing room. He made sure to lock the door.
You thought you knew what he wanted.
“Rafa, we don’t have time for that, I…”
“C’mere.”
Rafael hushed you and grabbed your hand, pulling you into his embrace. His large hand was on your lower back, and he held your other to his chest, beginning a slow dance to music only he could hear.
You looked up at him quizzically and raised your eyebrow.
“Rafa, what…”
“I know that we talked about not seeing the need for marriage in this crazy world, and that we are married to our art, but take a little mind excursion with me…”
You fell into rhythm with him as he began to whisper-sing “Hideaway.”
…See you’ve had the wrong plan
been sipping the wrong wine
Ay ay… let me put you on my vibe.
“Imagine we’re dancing at our wedding…”
You snapped your head up and looked in his emerald eyes. They twinkled down at you.
“I said, ‘imagine.’ This is just an exercise.”
“I would write a new song just for you and sing it while we’re dancing and get you wet for me but make you wait until after we party all night with our friends to get some.”
He smiled down at you and you were with it, getting into the fantasy. You swayed with him a little longer and smiled back up at him. Rafael’s stomach flipped.
So of course he twirled you away from him and back into his arms. His hand moved down your back to your ass.
“Seeing you in this would be the perfect wedding present. Imagine me waiting on you, not wanting to wait any more to touch you, taste you. Make you a mama.”
You stopped and stared at Rafael.
“….That’s quite the imagination you have there…”
Rafa stared back at you. “I am a creator. I create wild musings.” He turned you around to face the mirror.
“Use it.”
He put his hands in your satin covered hips.
“Pretend you’re a woman who would want that. Marriage. A husband who would cherish you and try to make you happy.”
Rafael bent down to hug you from behind, pressing his cheek aside yours.
You gazed at your reflections in the mirror. In that moment at least, you were that woman.
Rafael kissed your neck. You closed your eyes and you felt it before you opened them, but when you did, he had stepped away.
“Now go out there and pretend that person is what that woman wants.” Rafael looked at you in that way one more time before he cleared his throat and looked down.
You straightened up and walked toward the door.
“Thanks for the fantasy, Cash.” You looked back at him.
Rafa winked at you. “Anytime.”
——-
Three hours later, after you’d killed the scene and production had wrapped, Rafa waited for you in the parking lot, smoking and dialing Diggs on the phone.
“Whattup. D. I need you to talk me out of buying a rock.”

Weighing in on what that other anon is arguing about; I agree with you that accessibility does take priority over someone's personal views. Sighted people don't have to pass a morality test to access content, so expecting that of people who rely on screenreaders and/or transcripts is extremely bizarre. I don't really agree that someone can reasonably support HP while also Not Support JKR, since support for the series goes directly back to fueling her, but rendering any and all related content inaccessible to certain groups is not helpful or progressive in any way. Someone not interacting with HP content isn't exactly supporting trans people if the reason they're not interacting is out of inaccessible instead of by choice.
Plus you've made it pretty clear that you're aiming for accessible first and foremost, and it's not like you're spreading TERF rhetoric unfuted? So I'm not really sure why that anon is getting in such a tizzy over these theoretical disabled TERFs in the first place.
Thank you so much for sending this anon, it means a great deal.
I've added a few extra personal opinions about the "Engaging with Harry Potter is inherently supporting JKR and her bigotry" argument under the read more, just for the sake of transparency (because I really don't want anyone getting a nasty surprise like that anon again, I want people to feel safe here).
But
Please know that I am very passionate about giving all my followers the tools to avoid her work as easily as possible. For simplicity's sake, I'm current tagging any content related to the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beasts series as "harry potter," but I can change that if it feels too general.
Also, let me know if I should tag things related to her other works, such as the Comoran Strike series. I think I've only reblogged one GIF of that once, but I am more than happy to hunt it down and tag it if that would help (though as what i'm not sure...maybe just #comoran strike?) You'll have to be more patient with me on that one though, because I know next to nothing about the series, so I won't be as good at identifying content from it unless OP labeled it properly.
Ok, so I will say that I do not personally think a fanfic here, a small purchase there, a movie over there...is "supporting" JKR. Or at least, it doesn't have to be. The idea that its finically supporting her nastier agendas in any meaningful way is laughable, so I can only assume this is a moral thing. Especially because I've seen people call making hand-made Hogwarts bracelets or what not actively harmful, which is...not something I agree with.
As I said before, I fully respect everyone and anyone's right to cut her content out of their life completely, especially given the very hurtful things she has done and said. I just also don't think its morally reprehensible to watch a Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts movie, buy a video game, or whatever. I have seen people who actively support JKR on this website (some of the particularly unsavory TERFs), for example, and it rarely has anything to do with Harry Potter. It's always about her vile tweets.
But that's just my opinion, and I'll leave it at that.

Rules: Answer 21 questions and then tag 21 people who you want to get to know better.
tagged by @elizabethsyson
Nickname: Muggle is my nickname, but when I went by Muggle in person for more than a month at a time, it naturally got abbreviated, usually to Mugz
Zodiac: Aquarius
Last movie I saw: into the spiderverse (same answer as last time. I don't watch that many movies tbh except around Christmas. unless YouTube counts in which case... music of some sort? idk links for the next answer)
Favorite musician: changes by the day. I've kinda been in an acapella and/or folk music mood recently so the Maccabeats and Peter Hollens are in my YouTube and Spotify history a lot recently. also I'm eternally in awe of Forte Handbell Quartet (eta a longer video; i recommend skipping to the techno piece or the Jurassic Park theme)
Last thing I googled: "vine why are you buying clothes at the soup store" (my wife hasn't seen it; also i can't find the vine because apparently it's a much bigger meme than I realized). before that it was "chgrp not root" because work and group permissions are useful when they work
Song stuck in my head: well for most of the day when I haven't been actively listening to something, it's been the Pokemon RSE route-walking music. (but that somehow happens frequently when I'm in the no-music-no-internet room at work, as I was for most of the day, and I don't know how I accidentally trained my brain to make that connection). right now, surprisingly, I don't have any background music playing in my head. I think it's because the humidifier provides just enough white noise that my brain doesn't feel the need to provide its own
Other blogs: my main is @muggle-the-hat and I'm a mod on @why-do-neurotypicals but we've gotten one ask ever so that blog has been dormant for a while. I have a bunch of other sideblogs, but they're all small and I use different screen names on each of them (enby life: no idea which name suits me best so I may as well try them out) so i feel like it would just confuse things to link them.
Following: blogs matching all the themes of my sideblogs, (including this one, which is writeblr), korean langblr, jumblr, assorted fandom blogs, authors of my more favorite fanfictions (some overlap with other categories), and irl friends and acquaintances (including one fandom blog turned irl friend)
Do I get asks: on my main if at all, which isn't really surprising because i have hundreds of followers there and maybe 60 followers combined among the rest. but I get asks far less often than I reblog ask memes so... I'm always happy to get more. I do get tagged in ask games more on this one, but writeblr is actually vaguely organized about tag lists so that makes sense. also I used to get tagged a bunch on my main and I rarely could find the posts again to follow up when I had time to answer.
What I’m Wearing: pajamas. staying warm and cozy
Lucky number: I don't remember what I said last time, but I like a lot of numbers. 64 is a good number. recently I've been debugging software in which 0x3E is my lucky status number and 0x0E taunts me. (um, decimal 62 and 14). Also my other favorite number i can't share until it's no longer the combination to the lock to the Secret Room. (or realistically never because opsec and i shouldn't make public the types of parents we use for that combination lock), honestly I aim to be like.... ah, I'm sure the anecdote involves G.H. Hardy but i don't remember on which side. anyway one mathematician remarked to another about how the id number of the taxi he rode in was sadly uninteresting, and the one I aspire to be like, argued "what are you talking about, this number is interesting because ______" and I'd like to be able to do that for any arbitrary number thrown at me. (hi yes math is good, history is hard, math history is interesting yet i still forget the people even if i remember the math. except when things are named after people, but that tends to be, like, Euler and LaGrange and other people who did lots of cool science things so i remember the methods and the names of the methods separately which never helps)
Amount of sleep: ....depression both screws with my sleep schedule and means I always feel like I need more sleep except when I wake up at 5pm and feel like I've wasted the day. so yeah. I can never get enough sleep
Favorite food: yes (why do I have to pick a favorite?) uh, chocolate in most forms, many other sweet things, red meats (especially if served with potatoes), curry (especially if it has "too much" ginger), fresh-baked bread, chai the way my favorite local Indian restaurant makes it (spicier with just a little bit of sweet, which is the opposite of what i can get from the mocha machine at work which is wayyy sweet with a hint of spice but that inferior chai is still superior to coffee so i drink too much of it). also vegetables which I really don't eat enough of: sauteed zucchini and onions, roasted broccoli
Dream trip: dreaming requires creativity and tbh I funnel that mostly into my writing instead. I wouldn't mind going back to Korea for another visit though
Dream job: my current job is pretty good when I feel productive and when my debugging tools actually produce data maybe??? (they were not being helpful today. but i still mostly like my job.) dream job is probably this but with seniority and confidence and double the salary (while living in a similar area of the country; I wouldn't want to double my salary by moving to work for Google in California and having less available after rent than I do now)
Describe yourself as aesthetic things:
the smell of old books
the first glow of sunrise (the sunrise painting the mountains pink and gold)
a rainbow in the spray from a waterfall
the flicker of distant lightning (watching a thunderstorm fade into the distance)
this picture
Tumblr media
Random fact: about me or about the world?
how about a combination answer: when we got our new handbell music this season, we only looked at half the pieces our first rehearsal and afterwards I tried to look up one of the pieces we hadn't gotten to on YouTube because it's got a weird time signature and I wanted to get a feel for how fast it would go and how strict the counting is...... except it turns out we're the first group to ever play the piece. it was commissioned recently but seeing my conductor's name on the page didn't tell me how new it was because he's super prolific. (the fact that it was on printer paper without the publisher's graphics should have been a giveaway but it's only the second time I've been among the first to play one of his pieces so I think I can be excused for not realizing)
Languages: mostly just English, but I took Spanish for years, so I can hold simple conversations in it. I can almost read sound out Hebrew fast enough to keep up in services, and I know some random Hebrew vocab but comparatively no grammar. and I took Korean in college, enough that I can recognize sentence structure but I can really only speak tourist-Korean, though I can sound anything out (if it's typed. handwriting is hit or miss.) in both Hebrew and Korean (and Spanish tbh but i don't often listen to Spanish music) I'm very proud when I can separate the words enough, listening to a song, to translate them without looking up the lyrics. also I tried to learn Japanese from Duolingo when it was new, but I still hadn't gotten the kana straight when it started progressing to kanji so that was a rough time and I went back to Hebrew.
tbh I "dabble" in "language learning" which really means I start a million courses on Duo and stick with none of them. with the notable exception of French, which I acknowledge is super common and probably a good idea to learn but the spelling and pronunciation seem so arbitrary I'm scared to look close enough to learn it properly, and I've never particularly considered starting the Duolingo course for French
I think I lost a few questions, because that's only 18 answers. whoops.
um... who to tag
@abluescarfonwaston if school hasn't drowned you in work yet and @copperscales I'm interested in both of your choices for lucky numbers especially.
... wow I'm blanking on other mutuals I haven't tagged recently. as usual lmk if you'd like to be edited in, or just answer the questions and tag me back, that's great too.

Possible Japril fanfic
This was an idea I have been considering for a while, but I don’t know if I should go along with it. Tell me what you guys think.
The rain poured heavily, drenching the cabin. Inside, the two identical girls were tending to their own activities. Lucy Kepner decided to spend her day playing solitaire while Bianca Avery was tacking pictures she cut from a magazine to the walls, both girls peacefully ignoring each other.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew in, sending Bianca's pictures to the floor. Gasping, she dashed over to the window and tried to pull it shut.
Lucy noticed her plight and went over to help. "Oh gosh!" she exclaimed. "It's stuck!"
Fortunately, they were able to get the window completely closed.
“Thanks," Bianca said with the first genuine smile she gave Lucy since they met.
"You're welcome," Lucy replied with a genuine smile of her own.
Bianca squatted to pick up the pictures, and Lucy knelt to help her gather them. When Lucy noticed Bianca's stuffed frog inside of the bucket she set out to catch the rain water, she grabbed it and handed it to the other young lady.
"Here's your..."
"Binky," Bianca finished for her, taking the stuffed frog and some of the pictures.
"Are any of your pictures ruined?" Lucy asked in concern.
Bianca sighed while showing Lucy a torn picture. "Only Eric Dane."
"Who?" Lucy questioned with furrowed brows.
Bianca released a surprised scoff. "You can't tell me that you don't know who Eric Dane is."
Lucy blushed and fell into a seated position on the floor. "Well, I don't watch much television, unless you count surgery videos. I actually spend most of my free time practicing sutures on my teddy bears." She giggled nervously, thinking that Bianca would find her hobby strange.
"You do sutures in your spare time too?"
"Too?" Lucy asked with a lifted brow. "You mean...?"
Bianca nodded before putting the pictures to the side and sitting next to the other young lady. "I can't tell you how much my grandma Catherine tries to get me to practice the running whip-stitch."
Lucy giggled. "Your grandmother’s name is Catherine?"
"Mhmm."
"What a coincidence! Catherine is my middle name."
“Really?" Bianca received a nod in response. "My middle name is Lexie. It's from an old friend of my dad’s who passed away before I was born."
“If you don't mind me asking, why do you practice sutures?"
“I come from a family of surgeons. My dad, grandma, and even my great-grandpa, Harper Avery. He died when I was a baby."
“Harper Avery? As in the Harper Avery Award?”
Bianca nodded. "Yeah, but my dad doesn't want me to rest on the laurels of being an Avery—whatever that's supposed to mean." She rolled her eyes. "So, how do you know about sutures and the Harper Avery Award?”
Lucy smiled. "My mom is a surgeon too. Head of Trauma, to be exact. She was nominated for a Harper Avery last year, but she lost to a cardio surgeon, who created a way to do a hetero-topic transplant without it taking too much time. I haven't had a chance to read the article about it yet, but it sounds interesting."
“Sounds like something my Aunt Maggie would enjoy,” Bianca said with a chuckle. “So, what hospital does your mom work?”
“North Valley. It's in Whitefish, Montana, which is like 3000 miles from here."
Bianca’s eyes widen. “3000 miles?!”
Lucy giggled. “I’m kidding. But it feels that long away from home, you know.”
“Tell me about it. I miss Seattle, especially the ferry boats."
“How far away is Seattle?”
“Washington, the state, is at the end of the country. Actually..." Bianca trailed off as she grabbed a photograph from her stack of pictures. "Here's a picture of my house."
“Wow!” Lucy exclaimed. “It’s beautiful.”
“My Uncle Derek built it,” Bianca explained. “He died two years ago though. My Aunt Meredith couldn’t handle living there anymore, so my dad bought the house from her, and we have lived there since.”
While she talked, Lucy noticed a man with his back towards the camera. His had caramel skin—similar to hers—and a neatly shaved head. He wore a burgundy polo shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
“Who’s that?” She asked, passing the photo back to Bianca.
“That’s my dad. He didn’t know I was taking the picture or else he would’ve turned around.”
Lucy nodded, taking in the information.
“In a way, he's like my best friend. We do everything—and I mean everything—together…." she trailed off when Lucy suddenly stood up and rubbed her arms. "What's the matter?"
“Nothing,” Lucy answered as she walked over to her cot and climbed in. “It’s just chilly in here, that’s all.”
Bianca wasn't buying it, but she shrugged it off and decided to rummage through her trunk. She pulled out a pack of Oreo's and a container of Jif peanut butter. "Want one?"
“Sure. I love Oreo's. At home, I eat them with peanut butter.”
“Get out! So do I!” Bianca responded, marveling at how much she and Lucy—a girl she met days ago—have in common.
“You’re kidding? Most people find it disgusting.”
“I know right. I really don't get it." Bianca's face twisted into confusion as she walked over to Lucy's cot and took a seat on her trunk.
“Me neither,” Lucy agreed.
“So, what's your dad like?" Bianca asked curiously as she opened the jar of peanut butter and dipped an Oreo inside. "Is he the kind of father you can talk to or is he one of those workaholic types?"
“I don’t have a father,” Lucy answered, but then she realized her words came out wrong. “Of course, I have a biological father, but I never met him. He and my mom divorced when I was a baby. She never talks about him. It’s almost like he evaporated or something.” She took an Oreo and dipped hers in the peanut butter.
“It’s scary the way people don’t stay together anymore,” Bianca replied.
“Tell me about it.”
The pair fell into a comfortable silence while munching on their Oreo's and peanut butter.
“How old are you?” Bianca asked, never being short of questions.
“I’ll be twelve on October 24th,” Lucy answered.
“SHUT UP!” Bianca responded, and Lucy furrowed her brows. “So will I!”
Lucy’s eyes widen. “You were born on October 24th too? How weird is that?”
“Extremely," Bianca agreed. She randomly glanced at the window and beamed when she noticed the rain had stopped. "Hey! It stopped raining! How about we go to the mess hall and get a popsicle or something?"
Before Lucy could answer, Bianca leapt off the trunk and headed towards the door. She was halfway out of the cabin when she realized that Lucy wasn't following her. She turned and found the other girl nervously fidgeting with her locket.
“Are you okay?” She asked in concern.
“Bianca, what is your mother like?”
“I don’t have one,” Bianca answered simply, unsure of why the other girl would want to know. “My parent split up when I was baby or probably before then. My dad doesn't like to talk about her. All I know is that she was really beautiful.”
“How do you know for sure?” Lucy inquired.
“Because my dad had this old picture of her in his sock drawer, and he caught me looking at it all the time, so he gave it to me.” She looked towards the woods then back at Lucy. “I’m really thirsty. Are you sure you don’t want to get something to drink?”
“Will you stop thinking about your stomach at a time like this!” Lucy admonished, taking the other young lady aback.
“At a time like what?” Bianca asked with furrowed brows.
“Don’t you realize what’s happening here?!” Lucy exclaimed and started pacing the cabin while Bianca watched her. “Think about it! Your parents are no longer together, and neither are mine. You’ve never seen your mom, and I’ve never seen my dad.”
Bianca listened intently to Lucy’s words.
“You have an old picture of your mom, and I have an old picture of my dad. Well, you probably have a whole picture. Mine is a pathetic little thing that’s ripped in half-”
Upon hearing this, Bianca's eyes widen and she made a mad dash for her trunk, shifting things around as she looked for something in particular.
“What are you looking in your trunk for?”
Bianca stood, clutching a wrinkled and torn pictured to her chest. “This is a picture of my mom, and it’s ripped too.”
“Right down the middle?”
“Right down the middle,” Bianca repeated.
Lucy locked eyes with Bianca for a minute before going over to her drawer and taking out a pencil case that held her own wrinkled and ripped photograph of her father. She clutched it to her chest and turned towards Bianca.
"This is so….freaky,” she said nervously while slowly walking towards Bianca.
“Very.”
“I say we count to three, then show them to each other. Okay?”
Bianca nodded in agreement.
“One...”
“Two...”
“Three!” The girls said in unison before turning the pictures towards each other, gasping as they saw the images of their parents in the hands of the other girl before connecting them into a perfect fit.

(AN: Please excuse the awful edit)
“That’s my mom,” Lucy whispered, staring at the twenty-five-year-old face of April Kepner.
“That’s my dad,” Bianca said in awe of the twenty-six-year-old face of Jackson Avery.
Just then, a bell sounded in the distance.
“That's the lunch bell," Bianca announced, her voice choking as she's pulled out of her revelry. "But I'm not really hungry anymore."
Lucy reached out to wipe a stray tear that fell from Bianca's eyes, unsuccessfully fighting the urge to crack tears herself.
“So,” Bianca spoke again, “if your mom is my mom…..and my dad is your dad, and we’re both born on October 24th, then we are like….like sisters!”
“Sisters?” Lucy replied, her tears flowing freely down her cheek. “Bianca, we’re twins.”
Overcome with the emotions of their unexpected reunion, the two girls embraced, wetting each other's shoulders with their tears.

Hi! So I want to start honoring the Morrigan, especially Anand. I'm familiar with the myths, I've read people's experiences with her and I've read Morgan Daimler's book. A lot of people say that if you ask something of the Morrigan or want her to help you, you have to be willing to pay a price. I don't know if that's just general offerings or if the Morrigan is going to ask something else of me. And if she does, I don't know how I'm going to know what that is, since I don't have much in (1)
the way of a “godphone” or what to do if she asks something I can’t give. I also don’t know if she’d even want me honoring her, I’m anxious that I’m not, idk, worthy enough to ask for her attention. Can you offer any advice? Thank you for your time (2)
Hello Anon! I’m really glad you asked this question. I must apologize in advance, because this response ended up longer than intended–but I think it is a topic that deserves thorough exploration.
Personally I think “price” is the wrong word. While I’ve had experience (especially early on) where we had a sort of “this for that” interaction, I felt it was much more a matter of honoring or acknowledging them. Reinforcing my interest and my commitment. Initially I anticipated that the acts would be either ritualistic or complex or somehow inconveniencing, but there were a few days while I was struggling with depression, when it was literally a message of “take your medication.” As we continued, I realized it was less about what the act of devotion was, and more about the intent.
They tend to be very engaging and active in the lives of their devotees, at least from what I’ve seen, so I think it’s understandable that they expect gestures that demonstrate that you are serious about your interest.
When you are working with the Morrigan more closely, I will also say that sometimes sacrifice comes with the territory, but it is usually a matter of giving up bad habits and cutting poisonous things out of your life. This could be seen as a “price” in that it sometimes means making difficult choices that bring pain and heartache in the immediate. But I’ve never encountered a situation where what they asked of me was selfish or greedy. It’s always been focused on a call to better myself, to prove my commitment to following a difficult path, and strengthen my own sense of confidence.
I think it’s useful to think of the Morrigan in the context of a general of an army, or a ruler–they are, after all, the “great queens”. Within their lore and in the greater community of modern devotees, they are universally accepted to be intimately linked with personal sovereignty, and honor in warfare. With this in mind, you can see the difference between a deity (or a person) who demands homage in the form of a gift or price or sacrifice that may put you at risk somehow either physically, financially, or emotionally, and a strong leader who expects you to work hard, show your dedication, and be willing to make personal sacrifices in order to become a stronger, better you.
In terms of literal, financial price–the only time I remember encountering this was very early on, when the things I was expected to purchase were a few books about them. While money is often an issue for me, I think this was a reasonable price to pay, and definitely an investment for deepening my understanding of them.
I’d also like to address the idea of the Godphone. I am fortunate in that my own personal gifts run in the form of divination and communication with my gods. I’ve had this kind of spiritual link for as long as I can remember, and it’s often been easy to differentiate between what’s me, and what’s them. When it wasn’t clear, or I was dealing with skepticism, my request for a “sign” was usually met with something fairly obvious–a crow, someone spontaneously starting up a conversation about the Morrigan, or other uncanny things that were hard to ignore. However, this is not always the case. There have been very long periods of time where that link was severed, and I was unable to access that open line of communication. I worry less about this now than I used to, as I’ve found that the Morrigan commonly will enter into a period of intense conversation, but then back away and let you put your new knowledge and tools to work.
For someone who doesn’t feel like they have a Godphone, I think it is definitely possible to develop one over time. The most important thing to realize is that communication with gods takes many forms. One person may have dreams, another may literally hear the voices of their gods in their mind, and still another person may find omens in their mundane life, such as birds, or symbols that continue to reappear, or even songs on the radio. There are many ways of communicating with our gods; this is supported by both Celtic lore and traditional practices throughout the world, across many different cultures.
For the time being, if you are feeling drawn to honor the Morrigan, your first goal should be studying. Absorb all the information you can. Talk to devotees in the community, read blogs, watch videos, learn the different interpretations of the myths. When you are ready, think about how you would like to honor them. You could do a traditional offering (apples, alcohol, or milk are good options), start a tumblr devoted to them, recite poetry, or even just take time every day to talk to them. Even if you don’t hear an answer right away, they will listen.
If you are truly ready and committed to starting a devotional practice,  you might not receive any sort of obvious, earth-shattering sign, but you will begin to see change in your life. New challenges, new opportunities, strange coincidences, and–very often–old wounds resurfacing so that you can begin to work through them. For me the period of change was very rapid and a little disorienting, but I was able to tackle some very deep issues and for the first time actually make progress in unraveling the impact they’d had on my life.
Long story short, there is no “price” that comes with working with the Morrigan, but there are expectations. Sometimes this means giving up things that are no longer serving you well, breaking old habits, or taking chances you wouldn’t normally consider. How you choose to do your day to day devotions is totally up to you–if you have limited means, offering a prayer or pouring libations into a bowl is perfect. There’s no need for grand gestures or buying ritual items that cost a lot of money. Above all, when entering into a relationship with them, they will demand that you live your life honorably, demonstrate your ongoing respect for their guidance, and take care of yourself.
I hope this helps alleviate some of your worries. If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to me or any of the other devotees here on tumblr; we’re happy to help offer suggestions and share our own stories.

Are you taking requests for the 2nd Gen bidders? If so, how are they with kids? Like give them a day to baby sit a child, who would more traumatized, (lol don't take this the wrong way) The 2nd gen bidders or the kid they're babysitting? If you're not taking requests for them, would you mind doing this for the (regular) bidders?
of course i am!! i’ll always take request for the 2nd gen bidders!! thank you so much for this request :D
anyone can ask me anything about the 2nd gen bidders, and i’d be happy to answer!!
Kazuma:
Mother hen mode activated
Already planned out an itinerary for the child’s activities that day, down to meal time and bath time
“You need to be out in the sun for at least 10 minutes to get Vitamin D!”
A big worrywart that won’t let the child watch anything more than PG-13
Covers the kid’s eyes during kissing scenes
Cooks the kid’s meals himself. He makes sure they’re nutritious and delicious
If he had time, he’d childproof everything in the house
Kinda awkward when trying to play with them, but he eventually settles with playing a board game with them
Naoko:
She’s nervous af so tries to google “how to take care of kids”
Orders pizza (with no pineapples lmao) for them because she has no idea what kids like to eat
It’s super quiet and awkward for the first few hours
Naoko offers to study/help the kid with their homework
Obviously, the kid doesn’t want to do anything related to school
The kid suggests playing make-believe instead
And Naoko’s suddenly excited because it’s been a while since she played like that
She remembers how it’s like to be a kid again and she has fun for the first time in a while
Tatsuya:
The child would cower at the sight of Tatsuya’s scary face
Poor Tatsuya would be secretly crushed by that
He just wants to get along with the kid :(((
He’d try to play with them, but they’d be scared at first
Until Tatsuya offers to play horsey
The kid reluctantly agrees at first, but then they have fun using him as a horse, pulling his hair, messing around, etc.
He’s happy they're getting along, but ouch his hair :((
When Soryu gets home, Tatsuya looks tired af and wants to pass out
Setsuna:
Ohohoho kids!!!!
Setsuna’s excited because she loves kids!!
She’s practically a kid herself tbh
The kid would be so enamored and impressed with Setsuna’s magic tricks
“How did you make that entire chair disappear??” “Practice!”
Setsuna can’t cook, so she begs Kazuma to bring some food from their house lmao
She even teaches them how to play card games (and how to cheat lmao)
By the end of the day, the kid becomes a poker expert
Yuu:
The first thing he does is take them to a dog park
Because puppies are always the best!!
The kid has fun playing with the puppies, and so does Yuu (who takes selfies the whole time)
After that, they buy some ice cream at a kiosk nearby
On the way home, Yuu runs into some fans and he’s lowkey afraid they might cause some trouble, but the fans end up gushing over the kid instead
“Oooooh!! Is he your little brother?” “Oh, uh he’s my cousin, haha.”
Crisis averted
The kid didn’t even know Yuu was an idol and now they have stars in their eyes lmao
Yuu gives the kid an autograph before they leave
Ryoko:
She’s actually pretty good with kids despite not looking like it
They go to a nearby park and play all the outdoor games you can think of
Piggyback rides!!
She treats the kid to some fast food and she even gets him a happy meal with a free toy
When they get back home, the first thing to do is Nap Time
Nap Time ends up lasting till dinner though
Ryoko orders some pizza and they end up watching cartoons till Mamoru gets home
The kid doesn’t want to leave, much to Mamoru’s surprise
Junya:
He’s kinda nervous because he knows kids don’t like him
After an awkwardly quiet lunch, Junya asks the kid what they want to do
But they’re so quiet, like they haven’t really spoken a word at all
Junya is so lost
“Come on, kid. Don’t do me like this.”
He tries to get the kid to watch some cartoons so Junya can have an excuse to go away
It’s already almost time for bed, and the kid’s seen about 7 shows back-to-back
After another particularly silent dinner, Junya offers to read the kid a bedtime story
For the first time that day, the kid’s eyes light up
He lets out a sigh of relief
Ema:
Poor Ema would be so flustered at first because this kid is so energetic??
They keep running around the house chasing her cat, Sir Nathaniel
The poor cat doesn’t like getting his tail pulled
Ema wants to r e s t
She’s screaming inside because this tiny human being won’t stop bouncing off the walls
Eventually, Ema suggests they have a nice little tea party with cookies instead of wreaking havoc around the house
The kid agrees and Ema makes chamomile tea so the kid can take a nap
They eventually do and Ema is t i r e d
Hayato:
haha oh fuck
He knows he’s absolutely terrible with kids, so he’s Not Excited for this at all
He orders a fuckton of takeout food, gets a bunch of toys out and leaves the kid to their own devices while he plays video games in another room
Eventually, the kid gets bored playing on their own and wants to play with Hayato
He has no idea what to do except teach the kid his video game
It’s pretty brutal and violent, too lmao
Hayato forgets that there’s a kid around him and cusses a lot when he loses
By the time the day’s over, the kid’s almost swearing like a sailor and Hikaru’s disappointed in his son smh
