I'm losing braincells here.

A trans person asking you to respect their pronouns is not the same thing as a cis person not wanting to be called cis.

Like. You are cis if you identify with the gender you were born as.

It's not a slur, it's not just some derogatory word or something, it's an ADJECTIVE to better communicate what someone means.

It's like. Tall and short. You can have short women and you can have tall women.

Theyre both still women! But one is tall and one is short!!!

So saying "I don't know why we can't respect someone when they say they don't want to be called cis" IS SO STUPID.

Cis women who don't wanna be called cis don't want to be called that because they think that only they, cis women, are real women. They'd call a trans woman a trans woman, sure! But then they'd call themselves the "real" women! Like oh my god.

Cis isn't a slur and it's not a bad word. The only people I've seen using the "don't call us cis, we're just women" were transphobes.

You know queen of tears just has me a puddle of emotions because here you have two people that were meant for each other and have loved each other from the moment they met and yet they've been through their fair share of problems many due to a lack of communication but also because of many external factors so much so that they thought they had fallen out of love but oh no that's not true they had always loved each other, trying to love in the way that they knew and thought was best and wanted to be by the others side at whatever the cost but they just forgot a little along the way about how much they loved each other or how to love each other and now they are on the right track they've crossed that bridge and are healing they are fighting their monsters internal and external alike and they love each other so so much that every little interaction is precious and it's like they are falling in love all over again but also growing that love they have always had but at the same time it all feels fleeting like a race against time and while they are healing you mean to tell me one of them might no longer be around by the end of the story??

and somehow I'm supposed to be fine with that??

Spy x Family is such a Concept of an animanga. Like here is a fairly good representation of what war does to both sides, taking a neutral ground as it unfurls of the horrors it brings to ordinary people, showing that no matter how justified one side is, it does not erase the horrendous things they have to do......but instead of focusing on that, it focuses primarily on the shenanigans of one family living their best fake relationship AU.

Like, in a way, that's the best way to show how hope and light still exist amongst all the war crimes and devastation (focus on life than death without diminishing the latter). Something about focusing on the ordinary or people hurt and harmed by the war even as they're working against it. Or something
