Delusional is my middle name 😁 I mean obviously there would have to be changes. Mulder and Scully aren't mice so they can just walk up to people and confront them.

I see it more as there's a kid who somehow ends up writing a letter detailing how she wants a family and how the people she's staying with aren't treating her well. The letter ends up in the basement office and Mulder is touched by it so they check out the facility and they come across some nefarious business.

So it's more loosely based on the movie 😆
