It wasn’t because he wanted to however, it’s because the fans deliberately forced him to by spamming him and saying that he was queerbaiting!

Just … what is wrong with you people?! What kind of moron harasses someone over this?! What someone identifies as is no one else’s business!!

The fact that Kit had to come out like this is just stupid beyond belief!

I love Kit Conner and think he did a fantastic job as Nick in Heartstopper! That doesn’t make me obligated to know his sexuality!! If he wants to tell people that, then he will do that! If he doesn’t, that’s okay! Us fans should be respectful of that and leave him alone!

I don’t have Twitter (because I don’t want to lose what remaining brain cells I have left) but if I did and I harassed his over this, you want to know I would feel?

the sheer volume of titans tower aus are the most baffling thing to me because fic fandom treats it like this Core Event that his entire life is oriented around… they always treat tim like he’s a newbie who just picked up a bo staff five minutes ago when that couldn’t be further from the truth. he’s existed for over a decade at that point. he’s had over a hundred issues of a solo, not even touching his appearances anywhere else. in universe, he’s been robin for at least 3-4 years. he had AN ENTIRE OTHER TEAM who’s series ran for three years and had comics wide crossovers twice. he was enlisted in a war. he’s time traveled. he’s been to apocalips. he’s not a little baby who’s in too deep that kid’s been to space.
