More spider stuff. I did the band one very abruptly but I like it. Last two drawings are older.

Update: added one more picture to end this group. It’s another older one. Some b-boys (and one girl).

Update 2: Now that I have some coffee in my system I can actually write more stuff about my AU. Read below if you’re interested.

-In my AU Hobie does not have spider powers, he never got bitten. He created a movement using the Spider-Man costume as a symbol and a disguise from the police. He doesn’t need powers to fight against injustice. The other spiders find out about him and he becomes a honorary spider cuz they appreciate his work and they think it’s super cool. Also like what more punk than fighting with no powers? Anyway that’s why is patrols are more sporadic, Peter does it on purpose cuz he doesn’t have powers and doesn’t want him getting severely injured. He’s the only spider on foot. Also he’s a parkour kid.

-The other spiders involved are Jessica, Julia and Anya.

-Valerie (the OG spiderwoman) is also in the story but she’s retired from her role and lives in upstate New York. She comes by though to visit. Her and the older spiders are like siblings (she would be like the oldest sibling). The older spiders call her Val and the younger spiders call her Ms. V.

-Everyone loves Valerie. She’s great honestly.

-Judge is also in the story but he’s next door to Ganke and Miles’s room instead of rooming with them.

-Peter and MJ have a daughter.

-Ganke’s mother knows that Miles is Spider-Man. She finds out before his parents by accident.

-Billie has High-functioning autism.

-Don’t know if I made this obvious or not but like…many of the spiders are not straight. Not all of them but like…many of them.

-The younger spiders have to be extra careful with injuries. Especially when it comes to school. One time Miles wasn’t careful and teachers started getting very concerned and it almost turned into a…big situation.

-Ganke and Venom become buddies.

-Ganke’s grandparents on his mom’s side passed away when he was a kid. Ganke doesn’t have a close relationship with his grandparents on his dad’s side but he is pretty close with his Uncle on his dad’s side. His mom was an only child.

-Ganke’s mom gets really sick at one point and his Uncle helps out a lot during this time.

-Miles is a terrible liar due to his anxiety. Ganke is the smooth talker out of the both of them. Miles tries to smooth talk and…it just doesn’t go well.

-Whenever the go past the music store for Ganke the owner lets Miles fuck around on the drums in the music room. But the rule is that a) if you break it you buy it and b) if a customer comes in and wants to see the drum set he has to get off. Same for Ganke and the keyboards.

#my art stuff #beetlejuice #cartoon #toonjuice #digital art #bugs #emoji #I made my own brush for the bugs so I can use them in the future #I’m trying to make art more enjoyable for myself and that means making it much less complicated and take less time #so I’m hoping to use this brush more in the future when drawing beej #or things in general #I’m getting better at lightning the weight I put on myself with my art #but it’s an upphills battle and I am STRUGGLING #I’ve been using this eene inker randomly for a while now and it’s making art so much easier to do for me somehow #but it looks so disgusting in my art. not cus it’s an ugly brush. I think it’s really nice-looking actually #but I have such a strong need for all my art to look clean and for every line to be intentionally put where it is #I have a tendancy to go in and fix singular pixels in EVERYTHING when I draw. even if just to make it intentionally look unintentional #but this brush does it on it’s own and I haven’t felt this relaxed while making digital art in MANY years and it’s STRESSING ME OUT #but it’s good that I can relax. That’s the goal. I want to be able to rnjoy drawing again.#The biggest hurdle is my autism hating change but once I’m past that I know I’ll be right as rain #in the meantime I hope people can still enjoy what little stuff I mannage to crank out randomly #also don’t ask me what the style is. my hand just went off with the “whatever just get it down real quick” mentality #I really need to draw the sweetheart more… I say when he is all I draw besides myself anymore-

@llamagoddessofficial was looking at other peoples interpretations of evil mc and that spurred me into actually making a face.

I forget what sort of stories had this, but I distinctly remember there being a few stories online about women with skeleton hands (the reasons why varied but I distinctly remembered that it existed) so I decided to go that route rather than outright scars (also obv magic skeleton stuff to make it emotive bc otherwise it’d be a hard cold skull which while cool is hard to convey via doodles)

It’s wild to me that some of you have entire discourse accounts dedicated to shipping hate & over analyzing shipping between the anime, manga, & light novels to the point of making harassment campaigns against the authors/writers of the side stories. Yet y’all don’t send the same hate towards Ikemoto & his highly suspect ass art style with the way he draws some of these kids.

Y’all would not believe how much strength it takes out of me to not reveal my secret fictional crushes every day.

#i have so many crushes #some come and go #but others resurface from childhood and then it’s like ‘SHIT DO I DRAW SOMETHING AND POST IT?!?!’#but like I know my taste is off the wall already so y’all are probably use to it #some I already mentioned or hinted at but I’m too shy to draw or post art #the problem is that I already have f/o(s) that I barely focus on already #so just adding or focusing on other characters kinda makes me feel bad #which is funny because some crushes I just post about right off the bat but others it’s just 😬#and it’s not like I have to keep them a secret because they’re bad or because others ships with them #heck most don’t really see anything self ship related about them #it’s more of just feeling embarrassed really #and guilty #which I know I shouldn’t because if I want to post a new fictional crush on my blog I should be allowed too #and then there’s the whole getting crushes for a week or so and then they disappear #which then makes me really feel bad because the feelings kinda eventually go away or fade where the f/o ends up kinda sitting on a shelf #but idk #💬 chy chatter 💬

Here’s some sketches of young Ancient Cookies

I was just trying to go off of what flashbacks and concept art told us for their designs. By far the easiest was Dark Cacao, but that’s probably also because I’ve drawn him a few times before. Plus he’s all cape here

Originally I was just gonna draw Dark Cacao, Pure Vanilla and Hollyberry, but then I decided later on to try to come up with something for Golden Cheese and White Lily. With White Lily’s design, I just used the hair we got in the Academy flashbacks. For Golden Cheese, @sparkytheflame35 was again kind enough to give me some pages of her from the concept book, so I just used bits of that to cobble together a design for her. Also I’ve noticed in her official art that it looks like her hair is two slight different shades? Like her left side is more orange but her right side is more yellow. Not sure if it’s just a shading thing but I put it in regardless

I actually had a lot more fun than I thought I would drawing Golden Cheese, I might have to draw more of her later on

Then down below we’ve got some random sketches

First we have basically how Dark Cacao became part of the group. Basically my headcanon is that he was this mysterious silent warrior of the Great Icing Ridge, who would go out into the wastes and help those who found themselves in danger. He ends up finding the others stuck in a snowstorm and unprepared while also being attacked by monsters, so he steps in and takes care of it, and helping the group find shelter. Later when the snowstorm subsides and he helps them get back, and just before he plans to take his leave, Hollyberry, unaware he was trying to leave, basically drags him back with them to get a drink at the inn, grateful for his help. He is powerless to stop this. One thing leads to another and Dark Cacao Cookie decides he wants to join them on their adventures, and so the day they go to leave, he meets with them, bringing all his things and indicating he wants to join, and they welcome him with open arms

Also the group grew one by one, with the order following the (presumed) release order of the Ancient Cookies. So it goes Pure Vanilla (off on a pilgrimage), Hollyberry (looking for an adventure), Dark Cacao, White Lily (she and PV had a falling out since the Academy, but they ended up making amends and she joined them), and finally Golden Cheese (I dunno how she joined)

Then I wanted to draw Pure Vanilla just snapping at someone, because I think he deserves to be just a little feral sometimes. The Cookie he’s saying this to probably said something very rude about one of his friends, and he wasn’t having it. No one was expecting it, and so they’re all slightly terrified, especially when he goes right back to happy in an instant. They all learn not to tick Pure Vanilla off

Then I just wanted to draw a feral Golden Cheese, so I drew that. Not sure where “feral chicken mode” came from but it just did

Anyways, I think that’s all I have to say on the matter, so hope you enjoy!

#I feel like the eyes blend into the light colored hair and I’d rather them stand out a bit more #but I’m not sure I should use pure white because I haven’t so far with these #should I change that?#I swear it takes so long for me to finish these because in the middle of making them I get new drawing ideas that don’t fit in with my page #so that requires a new page #I have one that’s supposed to be a bunch of young Dark Choco interactions with other characters #but I keep getting sidetracked and don’t finish it #but anyways #I want more about Golden Cheese #cookie run kingdom #dark cacao cookie #pure vanilla cookie #hollyberry cookie #white lily cookie #golden cheese cookie #my art

daww thank you! That's so sweet!! Drawing big buff military men has been a challenge for me, it's very different from my usual stuff - but it's fun to love a piece of media so much that it forces you to leave your creative comfort zone. I used to only draw animals when I started out, so that's definitely shaped my style into what it is. But Ghost and Soap deserve a little softness, as a treat, so it’s ok that my style is sorta mismatched with the source material

Me: Taking off my ship goggles, while the polycule jokes are funny the intention with the Getter Team was less romance and more so a strong friendship that turns into brotherhood. It’s still about how relationships are important, but less of the angle of love and more of having comrades will make facing conflicts easier, even if you may be ripped away from your friends-

Also me: There is absolutely zero platonic explanation without shipping goggles on to explain why the FUCK Ryoma said “oh so you want me to bite you?” in such a playful tone with a grin on his face to Hayato simply calling him a watchdog, that’s straight up flirting.

Rhys has the most baffling nose I have ever attempted to draw it’s thin then it’s wide it’s long in profile but also kinda flat the bridge is concave but the tip points down but the nostrils are higher and every time I’m struggling with it and need a new ref it somehow looks completely different from my prev sketches!! The man has a new nose for every angle and I for one am SICK OF IT SIR.
