Ahsoka and the clones
I’ll talk about what we know in canon/what can reasonably be predicted based off that, as well as what we as a fandom have decided (lol) and my own takes. I’m holding off on talking about Rex and ahsoka until a separate post because I have A Lot To Say. Buckle up, this is gonna be a long one.
Ok first off, I am forever sad that we don’t get much interaction between Ahsoka and the clones, except for ahsoka and Rex. There’s little throwaway moments that have led to us assuming that she’s close with the troopers, but until season 7 (“loyalty means everything to the clones” and their heLMETS AHH) we don’t see much of that trust.
Some small times we get hints of ahsoka’s relationships with various clones are in the Brain Invaders ep where she talks about how the troopers would never try to kill them because they’re friends (nevermind the order 66 parallels i’m not ok). Also, on Ryloth when she loses most of her squad and is crushed.
It’s sort of strange how we’ve actually gotten so little on this, and still we were sure (even pre-s7!) that she was close with the troopers. I think part of this is because, even though the moments we get aren’t much, they’re more than we get from almost any other character (except plo my icon). We realize that these little snippets get it? I think i’m funny are part of a larger story that we just don’t get onscreen. This assumption is also because of her personality as a whole. We see she has great care for the people around her in general, and this isn’t overshadowed by clear flaws that lead to disaster later, ANAKIN.
And now...season 7. Where we get more interaction than all the rest of the seasons combined. Anakin’s line! The helmets! Rex and ahsoka bonding! Vaughn! Sterling! Jesse! All of the horrible sadness after order 66!
“Loyalty means everything to the clones:”
They all. Salute her. In the hallway. And it’s not even just the 501st, it’s the 212th! They know and respect her, even after being gone—further proof that she cared so much for the clones. She was always loyal to them, so they are always loyal to her.
THE HELMETS
NO JEDI EVER GOT THIS HONOR. Enough said. It was a sign of loyalty and trust, a sign that even though she left, they understood and missed her, and of course would trust her again. This must have hit especially hard for ahsoka after her trial, even though she wasn’t guilty.
The pilot (i’m sad we don’t know his name. anyone got ideas?)
When she’s jumping from gunships and cuts that pilot out from one that’s going to crash? A very deliberate moment to show, to tell us that she cares for these people as people that should live, not soldiers.
Vaughn
Sadness. Ahsoka realizes something’s wrong and she calls out for Vaughn to wait, but it’s too late. And of course, the: “I’m sorry, commander.” Ughhhhh even dying Vaughn believes in her, APOLOGIZES TO HER WHILE DYING
Sterling
This is a small one but she recognizes him instantly!! Meaning she took the time to get to know all her troopers on the way to mandalore, because i’m pretty sure he was new.
Jesse
Alright y’all this one is a little more speculation and my own take, but. We know that maul took Jesse because he’s older, but for that to really be helpful to him, Jesse had to know ahsoka as more than just the commander. Yeah, learning basic info on ahsoka is helpful, but he needs personal information if he’s going to convince her to help him defeat sidious. Also, when she faces off with maul in the throne room, maul says that the Jedi cast her aside!!! We know that she left of her own free will, but all of Maul’s information is coming from Jesse’s thoughts/memories—meaning, Jesse’s opinion of her whole trial was that the Jedi cast her aside.
The order
And the horrible awfulness that is when she says she won’t be the one to kill the troopers on the star destroyer. the MEANING! the SADNESS. To understand why this is so important, I want to go back to how throughout this season, ahsoka has been a bit more ruthless than she has been before. She’s no longer a Jedi, and it shows with some of her interactions (“Bo, help him remember!” is one example). But this. She still refuses to kill these men that she cares about, though they won’t hesitate to kill her. I also need to mention that she did let out maul and did inadvertently cause the death of a lot of troopers, but she knew that she wouldn’t be able to save any of them unless there was a distraction.
And death
Graves in the earth. They took the time to bury them. Rex lost his family, his brothers, almost everyone he cared about. Ahsoka, too, lost part of her family that day. I like to think that part of the reason she left her lightsaber there was as a tribute to the clones. The clones, who were used, who never had a choice, because of one man’s hatred for the Jedi. She left a part of herself with them.
I’ve made myself super sad, and that’s all I’ve got. I’m not trying to paint ahsoka as some kind of perfect person, but she was definitely one of the few who saw them as people, not just soldiers.

10. Your favourite season and why.
Honestly? Either S2 or S11.
Season 2: Sam has psychic powers and Dean is terrified that his brother might actually be bad, but is still ride or die for him. This is where we can see their relationship flourish without the search for John hanging over their heads. But y'know what does hang over their heads? John telling Dean he'll either have to save Sam or kill him, and Sam who is desperate to be saved and willing to be killed. And then!! when Sam dies!!! Dean saves him in the worst possible way!!!! Also, it's visually gorgeous. You've got the high contrast vibes from S1 but slightly less desaturated and you've still got the grainy film texture. An excellent time.
Season 11: Listen. I still think it should have been Chuck sending Sam visions. And I don't particularly care for the B plot. But Sam and Dean peak in this season for the first time since pre-s4 and it was amazing. It's the immediate aftermath of Sam literally unleashing  "a force on the world that could destroy it" to save Dean. Codependency at its peak. And in two mid-season episodes they absolutely nail the S2 energy. I mean, establishing beyond any doubt that Dean loves Sam? And then making him think Sam is dead in the very next episode? Where Sam is also the dictionary definition of BAMF? Not to mention, Sam is just. so understanding of Dean and his messy feelings about Amara. Love that for them.
9. What episodes best encapsulates the brother’s relationship? Does this change throughout the series? Doesn’t have to be the best episode btw.
To answer the second question, the brother’s relationship very obviously changes throughout the show. It’s obviously very codependent from the get go (especially from Sam’s perspective! Literally unendurable), and it varies in toxicity. Some seasons they are very soft! Some seasons I want to shout at Sam to run for the hills and never return. And then there are some episodes in seasons where their relationship is literally awful that are wonderfully tender (like 08x21 when Dean says “You gotta let me take care of you, man”). 
Imo, S1-3 are peak brothers. S4/5 are excellent to watch but not the most tender. S6 is on thin fucking ice. S7-10 are, generally speaking, when I would absolutely be willing to kill a man (Dean), but are still SO compelling because these crazy kids are devoted and have no moral boundaries when it comes to the other. S11 is a return to the good stuff! I haven’t seen the seasons after that but from what I have seen, Sam becomes a Dean apologist and Dean just gets worse. But they’re still codependent, so that’s fine. “You were gonna leave and you weren’t even going to tell me?” and “What about me? Would you trade me?” are baller lines. Sam is a grown man but he’s out here saving the world by being Dean’s baby brother. Iconic of them.
OKAY so. First question. I originally had several episodes per season but I have to limit it to 2, this is going to be too long otherwise. Also, as you well know, I've only watched up to 12x06, so I won't include S12 here. 
Episodes (and explanations) under the cut!
Obviously, both 01x01 Pilot and 15x20 Carry On. Literally the perfect bookends for this show. I don’t need to elaborate.
01x05 Bloody Mary - Has the moment where Dean actually has an emotional conversation with his brother, because he’s switched on to Sam’s emotional needs. He was willing to let Sam blame him for Jess’ death so that Sam didn’t blame himself! And near the end it has the iconic line "You're my brother and I'd die for you." Dean, right? No! It was Sam!! Anyone with any sort of reservations about whether Sam cared about Dean in early S1 can refer to this episode. It’s episode 5!! of the whole show!! and it has that line!!
01x11 Faith - Sam has absolutely no regrets about someone dying to save Dean's life. In retrospect, this episode says a lot about how much Sam loves Dean.
02x01 In My Time of Dying - Sam can sense that Dean is there, either through psychic powers or because they are soulmates. Both are good. Also, Dean is told that he may have to kill Sam, which influences their dynamic for the rest of the show <33
02x21 All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1 - Dean, on his knees in the mud, telling Sam's corpse that it'll be okay and screaming his name. That is all. Also, after thoroughly chewing out a victim earlier in the season for selling his soul to save a loved one, Dean sells his soul to save a loved one. 
03x08 A Very Supernatural Christmas - Sam decorated a Christmas tree with pine air fresheners to give Dean a Christmas. Obsessed.
03x11 Mystery Spot - Dean dies repeatedly, then dies for good for about 6 months, and Sam becomes a ruthless hunter in order to bring him back. Dean spends longer dead in this episode than he actually does at the end of S4.
04x14 Sex and Violence - Dean's siren is literally just a version of Sam that is devoted to Dean and would do anything he says. 
04x22 Lucifer Rising - Bobby coming for Dean's life. The VOICEMAIL!! Dean acting as though them being family is a cure-all and saying he'll beat Sam up, but also apologising. I'll take it. And then, of course, the voicemail Sam hears, which is more or less what Dean said in 04x04, and that being what tips him over the edge. The edge, of course, being killing Lilith to avenge Dean’s death, which has been his quest since the end of S3. Excellent.
05x16 Dark Side of the Moon - Ohoho. This episode. You know why this episode is here.
05x22 Swan Song - Same as the above! Dean who doesn't have a plan, just doesn't want his little brother to die alone. Sam, who fights off the devil himself and (essentially) kills himself to save his brother and the car they call their home. That memory sequence, for me, gave Sam the power not to save the world, but to save his brother. The world was just a bonus.
06x11 Appointment in Samara - "Dean doesn't care about me, he just cares about his little brother, Sammy, burning in hell. He'll kill me to get that other guy back." Dean's anger at himself for screwing up and forfeiting Sam's soul was. a lot. Also, Sam begging for his life and Dean just continuing anyway? Horrific. But very testament to their relationship at this point. Dean wants Sammy back and he WILL kill this other guy to do it.
06x22 The Man Who Knew Too Much - Sam being right about the consequences of having his soul put back in. And "You know me. You know why. I'm not leaving my brother alone out there."
07x03 The Girl Next Door - I was tossing up between this and 07x02 but. this has some flashbacks to past Sam!! Unfortunately, it also has Dean punching Sam for using the Impala, the car they both rely on to get around. And Dean murdering Sam's childhood friend for killing rapists. This isn’t an episode that makes you think “Awh, they’re codependent!”, it’s an episode that makes you send Sam vibes screaming at him to get out.
07x14 Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie - Ever think that maybe Sam fears clowns because he associates them with being abandoned? Also, nostalgia vs reality.
08x09 Citizen Fang - The voicemail from S4 is still hanging over our heads. Dean asking “Does that sound like the Benny we know?” and Sam replying “I don’t know Benny.” Dean keeping Benny away from Sam because Sam is apparently the one who will kill monsters with no nuance or remorse. But this episode is on the list specifically because of how pivotal the line "Yes, I do – too well. In fact, every relationship I have ever had has gone to crap at some point. But the one thing I can say about Benny – he has never let me down." is in absolutely wrecking Sam's mental health down the road!
08x23 Sacrifice - For obvious reasons! “You know what I confessed in there? What my greatest sin was? It was how many times I let you down!” and then Dean’s speech of blatant lies. It sounded good, though. Dean really is that devoted, but unfortunately he has amnesia.
09x01 I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here - Autonomy violation. This is what advanced care directives are for. Dean being so dependent on Sam that he would violate his autonomy and trick him into consenting to possession. Dean will do anything to keep Sam alive, including destroy Sam.
09x16 Blade Runners - The parallels between Colette and Sam are unbearable. “Drop the blade.” Also, Dean becomes SO feral when Sam’s cheek gets cut.
10x19 Book of the Damned - Sam’s speech! “But I can’t do it without my brother. I don’t want to do it without my brother. And if he’s gone, then I don’t….”
10x24 Brother's Keeper - Ahahahahaaa. Sam kneeling down in front of Dean and letting him kill him, if he wants. Dean not doing so. Please do not emulate this relationship in your real human lives.
11x04 Baby - Obvious reasons. Also, the perfect example of how these two communicate. Dean clearly states his opinion so that Sam has something to base his arguments around, and then Sam provides his perspective. That meta about how Dean and Sam communicate and how Sam is the major decision maker opened my eyes. Impeccable takes.
11x16 Safe House - The thing Dean loves being Sam (and Sam being genuinely relieved that it was!!). Sam propping Dean’s sleeping body against the fridge while saying “I got you! Stay with me.” Him cradling Dean in his arms and patting his head and Dean being SO confused but not fighting it.
11x17 Red Meat - Okay, I lied about the 2 per season thing, I just needed all three of these episodes. They are too good to not include. Dean joking to hide how scared he is for Sam? Being willing to let all three of them die just because he thinks Sam is dead? Attempting/committing suicide to try to bring him back? Sam fighting through immense pain to get back to his brother? This episode is so good. They are absolute lunatics (affectionate).

"I'm going up." 
"What- no you're not."
"Watch me." 
And watch you he does. 
He watches the way you drunkenly sway your hips all the way to the small stage at the far side of the bar. He watches as he say your nerves slowly settle in; your palms growing sweaty, and your consistent throat clearing. 
He watches as they soon fade away when the beginning to your favorite country sing comes on. Swiping your clammy hands on your jeans, you grab the microphone, letting the song consume you, and your angelic voice fills the room. To keep the nerves away, you make eye contact with Spencer all the way at the back of the bar. 
It's just you two. Everyone else disappears as you sing to him. The room previously filled with unknown faces and blitzing bodies grows quiet.
Spencer raises his glass in your direction; an unreciprocated toast. 
You shut your eyes as the memories flow through you as the song runs on. All the times you spent with your father, grazing the fields behind your house. Picking daisies with the summer wind sweeping your hair; the sun casting a gentle warmth on your skin. The times you spent with your mother, deweeding the flowerbeds that adorned the front of your house. The last time you saw any of your family this song played. You and your parents were all piled in the front of the truck, warm summer sun engulfing you in a hug, this song playing softly on the radio as the truck bumps and bounces down the rocky dirt road. What you'd give to be back home, down south with your family, away from all the negativity of your job. 
Not that you dont love your job. You were beyond grateful for all the opportunities joining the BAU had given you; you even formed a second family with your teammates. The BAU family just wasn't the same at your own. 
All too soon, the song ends, and you're grown up again. Far away from all the blissful moments fr ok m when you were younger, back to being an adult in ty he heart of DC, drunkenly singing a country song at a karaoke bar. Reality comes flooding back as people applaud and your team goes wild. Oddly enough, Spencer's the quietest. You try to initiate eye contact with him again from your spot so far away from the table, but he averts his eyes, avoiding your gaze. You waltz back to your table and take your seat beside Spencer. 
"What's wrong lover boy?" 
"I- uh- nothing," he gulps. 
"What- did I not do good?" An overly expressive pout falls on your lips. 
"No, no no of course not. You were great! I was just thinking." 
"About what?" 
"About you."
"There's gotta be more than just me bouncin' around in your big brain," you counter with a drunken giggle. 
"Well, true, but a lot of the time it's just you." He looks at you fondly through hooded eyes, admiring your features in the cascading yellow bar light. "But to answer your question, I was thinking about how hot you looked." Your face goes flush as he continues on. "How your jeans look on you. The way you swayed your hips as you sang. All I could think about was how much I want to go home and fuck you."
"Spence, I-" 
"But sadly I can't." 
"Why?" 
"You're drunk, y/n."
"Wha- no I'm not!" You laugh and lightly shove his shoulder. 
"No sober version of you would've gotten up there and done that," he counters. 
"Touchè, Doctor Reid." 
"We can still.." 
"That's like taking advantage of you. Not tonight."
"Come onnn," you drag out in protest, and move your lips to his ear. "I want you, Spencer. You know I do." 
"We can't- you know th-" 
"I'm not getting undrunk any time soon, so the only solution to our pre-dick-ament. Ahahahaah get it? Anyways the only solution is to get you on my level, pretty boy." 
"So an even playing field makes this better?" 
"Exactly." 
His eyebrows sprung up the cute way they always do when he's thinking. "This is such a bad idea." 
He stands up from his seat excusing the both of you from the group. You grab his hand and walk steadfast to the bar. The next hour or so is spent buying spencer drinks. Conversations become slower and less coherent, and the two of you are always pushed up against each other. Most onlookers would think it's cute, but in all actuality you're both keeping each other upright. 
"I think it's time to go," Spencer says from his seat on the bar stool beside you. 
"Yeah, uh I'll go get Hotch." 
You stumble up from your seat and set on a quest to find Hotch. Spencer grabs your hand to get your attention. You look to him and he's pointing back to the tables where you all had originally been sitting. 
Makes sense. 
"Hey, Hotch!" You chirp, drumming lightly on his shoulder to get his attention. "Can you, uh, take me and Spence home. I think we've had enough."
"Yeah," he huffs. "I think you have, too. Anyone else ready to go?" 
Garcia, Emily, and JJ all shake their heads 'no', and Hotch says he'll meet them back here. The three of us head out to the SUV, and spend the next twenty minutes getting home in silence. 
"Home sweet home," you say as you begin to bask in the familiar warmth of your home. The smell of your favorite candles burning on the coffee table. Turning to Spencer, you wrap your arms around his neck and place a chaste kiss to his liquor flavored lips. 
"Y/n, we don't have to-" 
"I want to. Besides, were like the same amount of drunk right now. It's fine." You meet his eyes with a smile and a drunken giggle. 
"You're so chaotic." He quickly places his lips back on yours, and your hands fly up to tangle in his hair. Lips meet teeth and tongue as the two of you make your way further into the house; into the living room and o to the couch. 
With spencer beneath you and you on his lap the kiss continues. You begin to move yourself on his thigh causing him to groan. He plants a harsh slap on your ass, and you jump; only for him to grab your hips and pull you back down onto his thigh even harder. 
The two of you remove your clothes rather quickly. Shirts flying, pants being flung, underwear being removed haphazardly. Soon the two of you are start naked, and you're sinking down on Spencer's length. 
"Fuck," he chokes out as you engulf him. "You feel so fucking good." 
"Spence.." You throw your head back in ecstasy, and Spencer leans up, attaching his lips to your neck. He grips your hips as you rock back and forth, faster and faster with each go. 
"Jesus- fuck! I've been needing this all day," Spencer says between gasps and moans. 
"M-me too." 
Your pace over Spencer doesn't slow, and the constant friction between you too is bringing you closer and closer to your orgasm. You reach your hand in front of you and start to rub quick circles on your sensitive nub. 
 "Spencer, I'm gonna cum," you cry out, feeling that knot in your stomach begin to unravel.
"Gonna cum for me? Hmm? Gonna cum all over my cock?" 
"Yes- God!" 
"Go ahead, baby." On cue, you release around him; your juices flowing all over his lap. You collapse down onto him, heaving and out of breath. "Look at me.. Tongue out." He then grabs your hips forcing you to move on him again; chasing his own release. Not too long afterwards, he loses his composure and crumbles beneath you as he releases inside you. 
You collapse onto his chest once again, breathing sporadic. "That was.." you begin but then trail off. 
"Yeah. It was." Spencer adds, rubbing your back. 
"Can we stay here like this? I'm exhausted." 
"We gotta get cleaned up," Spencer prompts you up off his lap before getting up himself and grasping your hand. "Let's go take a bath. We smell like sex and booze."

Just a few VeeLaDee Fixit HCs (series title pending)
So, first things first. Both Jiro and Takashi live. Lance isn’t idle with his promise to Jiro about “we’re gonna get through this”. But instead of what most the fandom went on about, Lance doesn’t expose Jiro as a clone, but instead builds upon being his “right hand man” and gives emotional support/advice to his friend.

Jiro’s actually the one who discovers Takashi. Which...initially doesn’t go well. It’s kinda been established that Shiro’s extremely harsh on both himself and who he views as “failed leaders”.

...which Jiro doesn’t handle his clone-status or Shiro’s reaction well whatsoever. He’s still determined to get Shiro OUT no matter what (and refuses to say a negative word about Shiro), but, it all just adds to his depression and feeling like an imposter and just can’t see beyond “Get Shiro OUT And Back With His Team/SpaceFam” (which the others actually pick up on for once and aren’t having ANY of it.)

But eventually both Takashi and Jiro adopt eachother as “twins”, and Jiro accepts the name “Ryou” but doesn’t use it right away, choosing to explore who HE is with the nickname HE chose for himself, vs risking falling into yet another “replacement” role.

Eventually, yes, Keith does return with Krolia and Romelle in-tow, and they return to their OG Lions. However, Keith loses his thunder a bit for his “grand reveal”—the others already figured it out and took Lotor back into custody as they try to figure out what to do about what’s left of the Galra Empire. Not like they can risk another Kral Zera, especially with Sendak and Haggar still at large, and the Blades have proven themselves to be top-down anarchists who don’t play well with others, unfortunately. (Krolia is also characterized differently than “canon” tried to have us believe. Sorry, guys, but too many things about her character just DON’T add up. So, fair warning.)

Pidge and Allura are the ones who figure out how to pull Takashi out of BlackLion, treating it like a “transporter accident” with Takashi just...stuck inbetween.

BlackLion loves both Shiro her Paladin and Jiro her protem Pilot. More on that within the verse itself, but yep, I’m toying with the idea of having a rotating Pilots Roster for when for whatever reason a Paladin cannot fly with their Lion. (It also gives various characters I’m pulling in from both VeeLaDee’s side characters, and a few versions of Vehicle Voltron characters something to do besides just manning the Bridge, Engine Room, and Infirmary so that the Castle can truly regain its former glory as a fully equipped Support Ship.)

There’s a timetravel arc planned, the end result being s3-onward being completely ignored. (Yes, that also means my “early verse” won’t exist for anyone other than my Paladin of Time, but I’ve decided it’s worth it.)

How much Takashi retains memory-wise both in and out of BlackLion’s inner quintessence field is...sketchy. Essentially this place exists “outside of time”, so to an extremely vague degree Takashi retains memories/acts on events from both timelines, both pre and post TimeTravel Shenanigans

The transreality meteors are essentially “eggs”. Meaning, the Sincline Ships get reforged into three new Lions, who are also compatible with the OG Lions. Jiro remains both a Paladin in his own right with his own Lion, but is also still recognized by BlackLion as an alternate Pilot as-needed.

The ATLAS doesn’t exist. Instead, Sam builds the PROMETHEUS (and doesn’t make it so obnoxiously big that it can’t fly without the aid of a “paladin” and teledov-go-boom-diamond). That said, the Castle doesn’t get blown up, either (as...the events leading up to that in “canon” never happen.) The PROMETHEUS also serves as a writing device to explore the Garrison/gives the Garrison Characters and Holt Parents something to do. (Think badass middleaged parents/mentors still doin’ stuff. ‘Cause screw ageism.)

The MFE Pilots aren’t cadets, but graduates/officers in their own right, with Adam probably serving as their commanding officer. (Veronica’s part of another team before eventually joining the Castle Crew fulltime.)

Which, yep. Adam lives and gets some much-needed character development. (He doesn’t, however get to date Shiro ever again. But he does finally work through his bad attitude and become a much bette partner to someone else on the Prometheus Crew. Probably a reimagined Curtis.)

I’m HCing nearly all of these characters as either bi/pansexual or (bi/pan)ace. So, lots of flf, mlm, and flm ships, a few of which are queerplatonic.

I’m currently creating my own “canonical” timeline to follow, which once I’ve posted it to Ao3 (eventually) will be free to use as a general reference for anyone who wishes to do so. (I’ve been working on this darn thing since literally s4, then decided to update/continue it once I realized I not only wanted to write holiday fics, but got so pissed at s7&8 that I flatout decided to make a TimeTravel Arc for Fixit.) All my future VeeLaDee fics will be compliant with this timeline unless I specify otherwise.

I do intend to explore a “post game” after Haggar’s finally defeated as the Galra, Alteans, and universe in general tries to transition into a stable era of peace after 10,000 years of strife. (Which...in hindsight is a bit like Vehicle Voltron. Whoops. But I’ve had this idea as a needed solution since s1...well before I started working through Vehicle Voltron with the intention of borrowing characters.)

Yes the Black Bayard can become a prostheic for both Takashi and Jiro. However, this is mostly a stopgap until the others can create usable detatchable/NON-weaponized prosthetics for these guys to use (that they don’t have to share like the Fates’ eye). After they gain their new prosthetic arms, the Black Bayard (and Jiro’s own bayard) take on other forms...but can still be Weaponized Arms as-needed. (Personally I think these guys would be relieved to NOT have prosthetics they wouldn’t ever have to worry about accidentally slicing/burning their friends after, say, being woken up from night terrors. That, and the Lions’ controls are conduits—you don’t need to have all your limbs to fly with them. Heck, you could even fly with them blind if you had to, as established in literally s1)

To understand how and why I believe this is about Tom Keen, aka Christopher Hargrave, you gotta think of it in order. Everything goes back to season one. 
1. Red creates the Townsend Directive.  
The Townsend Directive explains why Red turned himself in. I'll pull together a separate post of those dialogues when I’m finished, but Red’s reason for turning himself in has remained the same. He turned himself in because of Tom Keen. The Townsend Directive is Red’s contingency plan. That’s why it explains the reason he turned himself in, why it’s in play, why he told Dembe it’s critical, why he had a choice in going to Paris, why imposter Katarina would interrogate him regarding its target, etc. How or what Katarina knows of this plan depends on whether it’s real or staged, and whether someone leaked information to her specifically. 
Tom and those elements from Katarina’s past. Imposter Raymond reentered Liz’s life because of Tom Keen.  Imposter Katarina will enter Liz’s life because of Tom Keen. 
2. Then comes the 4x17 pre-pilot scene. 
Red: As I feared would happen, elements from Katarina’s past are circling Elizabeth like a pack of wolves in the night. I put Tom Keen in her life to keep an eye on her, and he married her. Kate: This isn’t about Tom Keen. It’s about your need for control. Red: Indeed. I need to control the danger to Elizabeth. I’ve built a vast criminal network predicated on that very principal. It’s time to live up to my mission statement.
Common sense tells you that if it has to do with why Red turned himself in, then it has to do with Tom Keen - and we’re going back to season one. Common sense also tells you that if Red connected Tom to elements from Katarina’s past, we’re going back to Tom’s side of the story to reveal what connected them. Two Katarinas in S7 just like there were two Raymonds in S5. The only difference is the real Katarina isn’t sitting dead in a suitcase. 
3. Then comes the pilot and season one. 
Red sent Zamani in to kill Tom Keen.
Red: The truth is, despite your feelings, your husband doesn’t matter. Zamani did you a favor, Lizzy.

Red: How did things go with Agent Keen? Zamani: Paid her a visit, like you asked. Red: And the husband? Zamani: Like you asked.
Red: You’ve discovered something curious about your husband, haven’t you, Lizzy?
You can start comparing S6 to S1. Like the “bitch” reference. 
Jennifer: Payback’s a bitch. Especially when there’s two of ’em.
They think Red is a man -
Newton: Must be good to be home again, sir.
They think Liz is a bitch -
Liz: My colleagues call me “sir.” They think I’m a bitch.
♪ If you’re havin’ girl problems I feel bad for you, son. I got 99 problems, and a bitch ain’t one ♪ 
Comparing S6 to S1. Like the adoption storyline. 
Liz: Before we had Agnes, I thought Tom and I were gonna adopt, that family had nothing to do with biology.
The adopted child to Agnes in S7 promo. She’s next to get hit.

In episode 2, Red questions Liz about Tom. Compare to S6. 
Katarina: We did the right thing, right? Ilya: What thing? Katarina: Pulling him from the fire, trying to save his life? I can’t stop thinking about those firefighters, what might have happened if we’d left him there - if they found him, maybe they could’ve gotten him help, saved Raymond’s life.
Both Katarina and Ilya were at the fire.
Red: Does he know about you as a child?

Then came Gina and Fokin. Compare to S6 and the S7 promos. 
Liz telling this “long story” to Aram and the task force.

Long stories. 
Liz: You killed him? Tom: Uh, no. Actually, Gina did, but that’s a long story. Look, what I want you to know is that it happened because I made it clear that I’m out. I’m done with those people and that life. But there are things that I did, and - and - and I might be done with those things, but I can’t promise you that those things are done with me. And I can’t promise you that it’s not gonna happen tomorrow or next week or - or five years from now.
Agnes: Mommy, who’s that funny-looking man? Liz: It’s a long story. But we finally have time to tell it.
In episode 18, the passports and his employer. Compare to S6.
Red: Lizzy, I’ve been monitoring Tom since he entered your life. About a year ago, I discovered that he had purchased three passports from a trusted forger I use in Warsaw.

Liz: How are we connected? Red: That is just a distraction. Liz: No, that is all that matters! This is my life! Tell me! Red: Right now, the only thing that matters is the immediate threat - your husband - finding out who he is and who he works for. The rest will come, I promise you.
Why would Red turn himself in? The immediate threat to Liz. According to timeline, Red turned himself in within 6 months of these passports being issued. The rest didn’t come, but it’s coming now. Why? They didn’t even find out Tom was Christopher until S3. 
Then Tom’s whisper to Liz. Compare to S6 and the S7 promos. 
Liz: Tom told me something right before he died. Red: What was that? Liz: “Your father’s alive.” Red: Lizzy, look at me. I’m telling you, with no uncertainty, your father is dead. He died in that fire. 
Jennifer: Wait. If you killed our father, how come you didn’t know Reddington was an imposter? Liz: My memories of that night. He had them removed. Jennifer: He - He removed your memories.
In S7, Liz tells the task force that her father is dead. Red is an imposter.
Might as well add the second memory wipe in S7. Tom did that. 
Cut to the blacklist and what Liz said of that. 
In looking at this the way I do, you see what’s left. 
Liz: It’s all connected. All of it. Everything. The Blacklist. We’ve been looking at it all wrong. We see these cases Reddington gives us as individual, as if they’re disconnected, but what if they’re not random? What if there’s a larger pattern to all of it?:Reddington got a number from Wujing, a code that he entered into ViCAP after helping us stop General Ludd in order to identify Lucy Brooks, also known as Jolene Parker - who he then tracked down using The Alchemist‘s client list. They’re connected. Maybe not all, but some. Gina Zanetakos, The Courier. I believe they all trace back to one entity. Berlin.

They all trace back to TWO entities, neither of which are Berlin. Place Liz at the center of the blacklist because Red is there for her. You see this throughout the seasons. The Blacklist is there for Liz, to assist her with each new big bad. So you place Liz at the center, then you place two names above Liz. Her father, Raymond Reddington and her mother, Katarina Rostova. TWO entities. When you do that, the picture starts to become clear. Berlin traces back to the father, not the mother. The Cabal traces back to both parents. When you place Raymond Reddington and Katarina Rostova at the top, you can drop down every connection throughout the series. 
As you’ve seen, they’ve YET to connect Tom to elements from Katarina’s past. In order to connect Tom to the mother, you have to look at season one. Red turned to Major to hire Tom. Being a spy is exactly why Red hired him. He wanted someone to look after Liz. As he stated in S5, he let the marriage go because Liz was happy. So why send Zamani in two years later? All you have to do is look at all those things in S1 that were NOT connected to Berlin. 
Red: Does he know about you as a child? Does he know about the fire?
The mark and the scar, not connected to Berlin. Those three passports in 1x18, Not connected to Berlin. Gina Zanetakos and Victor Fokin, not connected to Berlin. The Courier, not connected to Berlin. Berlin had no idea Red was Liz’s father, so Tom’s whisper wasn’t connected to Berlin. Tom and elements from Katarina’s past. Liz’s father and the fire. Add in Constantin Rostov. 
4. Fastforward to when Kate unearths the suitcase.
She apologizes to Katarina. Not to the real Katarina, the imposter. Because she knows in handing this suitcase to Liz, Red will have to enact his contingency plan: The Townsend Directive. 
It’s all about Tom Keen aka Christopher Hargrave and how he’s connected to elements from Katarina’s past. I don't even have to point this out anymore, the show is quite literally doing that for me. Every promo, every spoiler, every scene holds a piece of Tom Keen. He told you not to trust him.
