how his thick tongue pushes past your lips and into your mouth, reaching almost the back of your throat, relishing in the muffled little sounds you make. your drool mixed with his saliva drips down your chin, and your hazy eyes look up at him when he finally pulls away, giving you a second to breathe.

a pet headcanon of mine is that after they're done with the sigil removal, emira expands her horizons and starts studying the psychological side of healing, pulling in some resources from the human realm and combining it with boiling isles methods (i imagine the field of psychology in the boiling isles, while existent, was often pushed aside as just a lesser branch of the healing coven back when belos was in charge. i do imagine there's often magic like the memory tweezers involved)

and i imagine she ends up focusing in on like, art therapy and self-expression, because she knows how important that can be, after having her individuality stifled so hard when she was young

Finally went and watched Zero Tea Time and like, how is this man still functioning at all??? If we're to assume that Furuya sleeps about 2 hours a night regularly, I'm sorry but this man would in no way shape or form be able to do what he does. - Sincerely, someone who has legitimately slept 3AM to 5AM regularly for several months due to having pre-existing sleep issues and a job that started at an ungodly time.

Like, yes I get that I shouldn't be thinking too deeply since anime logic, but also on this same schedule I felt like I was about to die by week 3 and was essentially a human zombie with my mental health down the sink by week 6(and technically I was sleeping more than 2 hours since I would take some naps as well) so I have some strong feelings about this. Hell, there's no way this man would be able to keep track of what time it is let alone all his jobs and secrets with that amount of sleep. Even if we go under the assumption that he sleeps 3-4 or even 4-5 hours usually and the 2 hours was a special case this man would still not be able to make all those deductions and chase all those criminals. Sure you won't feel as shit, but you definitely will still be feeling quite shit.

No wonder this man depressed and insane with a sprinkling of anger issues and seems to be constantly lowkey disassociating in Zero Tea Time. Yes most of it is because he's the only one left and is horribly traumatized but also like Furuya, have you considered taking a nap? It doesn't solve the trauma, but give yourself 8-10 hours of proper sleep and you'll be waking up ready to take on god.

As a side note, are there fics where Furuya is severely sleep deprived and how that impacts him? Because so far I haven't seen any but I also don't usually go out of my way to find Furuya centered fics. Because if there isn't I'll write one myself, not enough chronic sleep deprivation rep round here in general. Mans mother hens everyone around him, he deserves someone to mother hen him back to force him to sleep because the world will not in fact end if he takes some time off.

the universe must have heard my complaining from the past week because i was assigned two projects and one discrete task at my externship today :'(( i can't go into details but they involve subpoenas, investigations, and doc review, oh my! after i logged off of work, i got some coffee and journaled on the patio outside—i love the mosaic table and little tree that's signaling the beginning of autumn☕🍂

Usually I'm all for not treating two characters as a one inseparable unit. I'm all for exploring them separately from each other or considering some interesting rare pair options for them.

But not with Madara. I love Madara very much but I'm sorry his canon obsession with Hashirama can't be ignored by me. I can't separate it from him. Their bond with Hashirama is completely something else. It's a very integral part of who Madara is.

He wants his attention even if it will be in a fight he wants everything Hashirama can give him. He'll recognize him in any situation. He'll be happy to see him even if the last time they have seen each other Hashirama killed him. He talked about uniting Ying and Yang and clearly meant Hashirama as Yang to his Ying. He ended up merging a part of Hashirama into himself in a most literal sense. He can't shut up about Hashirama when we see him as himself and not an impersonator (obito) or through other's memories.

So, my mini angsty Furina and Neuvillette headcanon/thoughts

I always loved the idea of them being adoptive siblings, and I especially love the idea of Furina being an older sister to Neuvillette. She was always a little eccentric and all over the place, always one to love performances, but she also always took her role first as a daughter of Egeria (just yet another headcanon of mine), then as the Hydro Archon, seriously. She knows her responsibilities, even if she does like to also indulge in her fun loving side.

So imagine with me, if you will, that she understands that she must have the time to fully dedicate herself to her duties as the God of Justice and to stopping the prophecy from coming true. Similar to Rukkhadevata and Nahida, she splits off part of her consciousness, the main part of it going into the Oratrice and a small fragment of it left in the form we call Furina. Essentially leaving behind a figurehead while she does most of the grueling work behind the scenes.

Imagine, if you will, Neuvillette watching his older sister disappear and leave a younger, more immature version of herself in her place that he now must watch over and take care of because that's still his sister, even if now it's only a fraction of who she is. Imagine his frustration borne not only from her antics, but also from the fact that he knows that she is more than this drama-loving figurehead that the people think of her as.

(And if you want some extra angst, imagine she doesn't tell him about her putting the majority of herself into the Oratrice. All he knows is one day his sister leaves for the Opera Epiclese and comes back as a caricature of who she is.)
