A/N: Sorry this is a random fanfic BUT I JUST WATCHED A SAD JIHYUN EDIT ON TIKTOK T^T miss her so much I’m sobbing
It was 8:20am and you were walking side by side with Jihyun on her Uni campus, dropping her off to her dance studio. She was talking to you about how her classes were going whereas you couldn’t stop admiring her side profile.
She was so perfect to you even though she disagreed. She had the most beautiful brown eyes that you loved getting lost into, the most fluffiest cheeks that you loved to pinch, the most softest lips you loved to steal a kiss from, and the most cutest laugh you loved to hear.
Your love story was very kdrama coded. You didn’t want to go to Uni and decided to open a cafe instead after receiving so many compliments on your baking plus perfect beverages.
Jihyun is a dance major and enjoyed a nice hot chocolate and cronut before her classes because she believed a good brain requires good food.
The first time you saw her walk through your cafe doors, you already fell in love with her contagious smile as she looked through the displays of cakes and sweet besides the counter.
At first you gave her a discount, then turning into a lot of free food. This earned a look from Chanelle, your cafe buddy in crime but no matter how many times she told you that you couldn’t just give free stuff to a pretty girl, everything went in one ear and out the other.
So Chanelle eventually gave up scolding you. You owned the cafe after all.
The entire act of kindness was too obvious for Jihyun to ignore and she eventually gained feelings for you too. Then free food turned into endless dates.
Then you confessed and asked her to be your girlfriend after she did a dance performance at her Uni spring event.
Now you two have been dating for many months and you still pamper her with endless amounts of goodies from your cafe.
“You’re spacing out” Jihyun’s voice brought you back to reality.
You didn’t realise you had already reached her studio.
“Just thinking about how lucky I am to be dating you” You winked.
Jihyun hid her blushing face in her palms but you were quick to take it and throw it around your neck as you hugged her waist. “Don’t hide from me, cutie”
“Ugh you’re insane” she tucked her face into your neck.
“For you, I am” You smirked when she hit your chest but then your smile faltered.
Jihyun raised her brows. “What’s wrong?”
“Where’s your jacket?” You rubbed her waist.
“Oh yeah, it’s still drying. Moka forgot to do the laundry”
You sighed and kissed her forehead before taking off your hoodie, giving her a glimpse of your lower abs.
“Here, baby”
She hesitantly accepted it. “But you’ll be cold!”
“It’s better than seeing you freeze to death. Go to class and I’ll text you later okay?”
Jihyun nodded and hugged you tightly while you rained many kisses on her temple and then her lips. “I love you”
“I love you too” She giggled and watched you walk off, not knowing her classmates were behind her.
“Your girlfriend is so goddamn fine, Jihyun” Minju commented.
Jihyun frowned cutely. “Back off”
“Relax~ it’s a compliment!”
“I agree with Minju. You’re so lucky” Jiwoo spoke up.
The girls shared a laugh and entered their studio, ready to begin the lesson.
After 2 hours of non stop dancing, the students fell to the ground out of exhaustion while the AC tried to aid them.
Yunah took a huge swig of her water when she noticed a familiar face out the window. “Hey Jihyun, isn’t that your girlfriend?”
“My girlfriend?!” Jihyun jumped up with a new wave of energy.
Everyone stared at you when you knocked on the door, Himena opening it for you. “Hi how can I help?”
“I’m looking for someone…oh there she is!” Your smile grew when you found your super excited girlfriend drenched in sweat.
Himena let you enter further with a paper bag in one hand and a blue lemonade in the other. “I figured you were tired so I got you some food”
Jihyun pulled her beanie lower to cover her eyes out of shyness. It became a habit to randomly pop into her classes and drop off either food or gifts.
The other students in the studio started squealing and murmuring between each other, totally envying the love Jihyun received from you.
“Must you always do this?” She giggled and laid her head onto your chest.
“Anything for my girl”
She leaned up on her tippy toes to kiss your cheek before accepting the food from your hands. “What’s in here?” She asked, shaking the paper bag.
“Two croissants. Fresh from my cafe” You winked.
“Why can’t you be like that to me?” Jiwoo whined at Yunah, shaking her shoulder.
“Eh?” Yunah raised a brow.
“How long do you have left of class?” You whispered to your shorter girlfriend.
“Finished now actually. My next class starts in two hours”
Your eyes sparkled. “Can I hang out with you for those two hours?”
“Of course, baby. Hope you don’t mind my friends joining” She gestured at the group of girls still watching them from afar.
“The more the merrier!”
Jihyun claimed you were very much Golden Retriever coded and enjoyed how your invisible tail would wag at anything she said to you. She called you a stupid loser one time and you literally just stared at her like she made the stars.
“Let’s go?” You wrapped an arm around Jihyun’s shoulder.
“Let’s go! Come on girls”
As you two walked out the studio, Jihyun reached up to kiss the side of your lips. Something she’s usually too shy to do. “Thank you, baby”
Your heart was about to jump out of your chest. “Anytime”
“I love you”
“I love you more”

Reverse Engineering the Best Kiss 💋 Bracket Seeding
I am very impressed by how accurate the BL brackets organizer's seeding has been so far! I reverse engineered the two seeded brackets ('cause i'm a procrastinating dork), and in both the first seed won, the semifinals was between 1 and 2, and the bottom 16 lost in the first round. Otherwise it wasn't perfect (because that would be no fun) but it was pretty close!
I was inspired by their answer to this ask about how they did the seeding, and extrapolated the order from these brackets.
Below the cut is the seeding for Best Kiss, so you can see what it looks like! (Assuming I ordered them correctly!) The Gender Envy seeding (as reverse engineered by me) is in this post.
(@bl-bracket I can delete these posts if they ruin the magic of it all.)
Of the 64 candidates, 10 did better than expected and 10 did worse, so 69% of candidates performed exactly as predicted by their position, and in 84% of match-ups the higher seed won.
The final 4 were the top 4 seeds, the semifinalists the top 2, the winner, 1st seed. The top 16 seeds almost exactly matched the final 16; Hojoon & Jaeyoon (Roommates) snuck up in there from 18th seed, and 15th seed Sky & Prapai (LITA) fell in the 2nd round instead of the 3rd. The bottom 16 all went out in the first round. The biggest shakeup was because of 7 of the candidates in the 2nd quartile who in the 1st round defeated 7 slightly higher seeded candidates in the 3rd quartile. The biggest upset was 48th seed Shi De & Shu Yi’s drunk kiss (We Best Love 2) winning over 17th seed Seojoon & Jiwoo kiss on the dirt road (To My Star 2), overcoming a difference of 31 positions.

i finished Revenge of others this week so here’s a review!
I really liked this drama, the leads did really well portraying their characters even the guy that played gi osung! the plot was really good, and very mysterious. throughout the show i thought almost all of the kids killed her brother at least once the way everyone hated him was so crazy. the last two episodes were so shitty… i like to pretend the ending was left a mystery because it was so rushed and made no fucking sense whatsoever. do you mean to tell me a boy literally woke up out of a coma, got possessed by the spirit of his dead twin brother and went all the way to school, found his best friend and pushed him out the window???? and nobody caught him or realized he was gone ??? those writers do not need to get paid for those last two episodes idk.. anyways onto the characters

i loved her character, she took no shit and was not playing about finding her brother’s killer. she had the police officers and her brothers foster parents apologizing to her because she’s the only one who knew her twin good enough to know that he wouldn’t just kill himself. and i don’t understand why they didn’t open the case back up after she moved all the way to seoul and told the police officers she was literally on facetime with him and knows someone else came to where he was at, at the time of his murder. she went through so much shit, i applaud her for standing her ground and not giving up after everyone else had.

he’s just a cutie that beats assholes up on the side. his whole storyline is tragic, having to live on your own, work, take care of your sick mother & her medical bills and then also get diagnosed with a brain tumor, all while still going to school is soo much stress for a highschool student. i really wish he had an adult or a friend helping him out with bills and things like that so he didn’t have to start beating people up for large sums of money! but, he was beating up really terrible people that bypassed their deserved punishment because they were either too young or had parents with money. he made students feel happy and safer knowing that sb was taking care of nasty bullies and pervs. glad that he got a happy ending, no school, no stress, just focusing on himself and his happiness ( and ok chanmi 🤭)

so cute and genuine, his storyline is also kinda tragic as well. he got pushed off of his fathers company building by his “friend” and was probably expected to die but just ended up in a coma. he then woke up and got told that he tried to commit su*cide and lost pretty much all of his memories of school, friends and literally anything that could’ve helped chanmi learn about her brother. he turned out to be an amazing friend that tried to help in anyway he could. he was also being manipulated by the person who tried to kill him, which was also one of the only people who knew him on a person level before his accident. the plot did him so dirty because why did they make him get possessed but his dead twin’s spirit at random times 😭. the last two episodes were literal shit and he didn’t deserve that wild ass plot twist which made no sense. anyways he ends up getting taken away by the police and probably lives out the rest of his time in jail or something

this girl brought absolutely nothing to the table other than jealousy and bullying. the whole shows plot is because the step-brother is obsessed with her and one of his friends ended up finding out. i feel really sorry for her having to go through that with nasty ass gi osung (that boy is delusional). she definitely didn’t deserve getting getting sexual pictures of her sent to all her classmates, having her secret about her stepsibling being shared and then also being held against her will by said sibling while he fights the boy she has a crush on. that doesn’t save her from her terrible ass behavior or actions though. imagine hating a girl so much over a boy that you trespass into their space and have their home ripped apart and destroyed. then you go and get two girls jumped by bullies you hired all while you watch and smoke a cigarette.. girl get the fuck on.

i have nothing nice to say about this boy, he needs to be checked into a mental institution immediately. he’s such a pervert, taking unsolicited pictures of his step-sister and then forcing her to kiss him and recording it is such a vile act. then he goes onto commit attempted murder on his supposed best friend, manipulated that same friend to push their other best friend out of a window on the top floor of their school, and then continues to manipulate the friend he manipulated & attempted to kill after the friend came out of his coma and finally came back to school. he then continues on to spread a sexual picture of his step-sibling that he’s obsessed with to their school and pins it on the new girl, already knowing that his sister hates that girl. everything his does is just over the top & uncalled for, he’s a terrible character.
tae soyeon & hong ajung
these two brought nothing to the plot as well.. their characters were nice but i felt like if you took them away it wouldn’t have affected the storyline much. maybe soyeon is a bit more important to the plot because she’s the reason that jooheon got into beating people up for money but ajung and her pregnancy was unnecessary. the could’ve left out her character and still found a different way to introduce the storyline with that lady’s daughter getting unsliced by her classmate who had a crush on her.
