So based on the Tattoos we can determine a basic timeline when JM got 'em:

End of 2018-Beginning of 2019 - Love Yourself/LY: ANSWER ERA

Extra Note: Lets recall that 2018 was THE year BTS were supposed to disband (they had apparently talked about this all throughout 2017 due to hardships each member was facing at the time), but after talking it out they decided not go separate ways.

End of 2019-Start of 2020 - ON/Black Swan ERA

End of 2021 or beginning 2022 - Permission To Dance ERA

All the above^ were made by the SAME tattoo artist: dx2ta2 at Blind Studio.

Every other tattoo:

Rest of the moon phases

The 7 on the index finger

Were done by POLYC SJ sometime during 2022

JeiKei got his lil 7. With a crossbar. Like someone else's lil 7 with a crossbar. Funny how these things work out. I like the placement, too.

SO you wanna know what I think? I think that, based on recent events and that very queer-coded interview of Jimin's, this focus on solo work is not a bad thing. It really might be coming two years late, but I think it was necessary now. That closet can't stay shut forever. I'm not saying this is a statement or anything but SHUT UP YES I AM LOOK AT THIS SUN AND MOON DUO

And by the waaaaayyyy.... I don't think we've talked enough about that tattoo Jungkook covered up. The photo below was literally in a magazine article about how Jungkook's tattoo was "related to V". UM NO. If it ever was about Taehyung (it wasn't, it's a Korean symbol) it's long gone now. Which you'd think would make a dent in the delusion but it won't, you watch. I'll publish my mail about it maybe.

Of course these are the same people who don't think a touched-up JM means anything and are still screaming into the void about why JeiKei didn't out Jimin's tattoo on VLive (For the last time he did not forget. He just doesn't tell Jimin's stories for him, it's healthy. Try it.)

I think that JeiKei took enough toadlickker crap about that tiger that he decided to LET PEOPLE KNOW ONCE AND FOR ALL. I think Jimin is in on it, DUH, but I also think it's helped to repair his and Tae's friendship. Tae's a good guy to have on your side, but it was never like that with these two. Wait'll you see how he acts with Wooga Squad.

I MEAN HOW MANY WAYS DO WE NEED TO SEE IT

Honestly? I would not be surprised if the man has "Property of 박지민" on his ass.

Shy and Playful Jimin

Vogue Korea put out a Behind the Scenes of their photoshoot with Jimin. I could have done without the cheesy music and cartoon calico cats and chicks but it was good to see Jimin at work modelling Tiffany and grappling with the challenge of keeping the focus on the product when most of us will only be starring at him.

What I am really enjoying, both in these fashion shoots and in the MV yesterday are the glimpses of Jimin's tattoos. Those subtle but significant reminders of his life journey that he has chosen to permanently commemorate.

Sometimes I randomly get impressed that Jimin's first tattoo was a rib tattoo (if you don't know, tattoos on the ribs hurt) and not even a tiny one

There's a reason behind jimin's every action

Nothing is a coincidence when it comes to Jimin . Especially when it comes to his decisions and things he chose to do .

Everything . Has . A . Reason

He had one chance in photoshoot to add tattoos he liked , he planned every single tattoo he'd be getting in future in that one day . It shows how he values his own body like a treasure ,showcases that there's a big place in his big heart for everything he deeply loves and he likes to treat it with deep meaning , how he plans every single step in his life writing his own page in his life , all his decisions are taken with deep thoughts and none of them are inefficient rash decisions [ which he'd regret later that would then need to be hidden with much darker inked large ones or Full black scribbles ] . He takes full responsibility of all his decisions by planning them ahead and thus makes sure the steering wheel of his life is always in his hands ,thus no place for blaming or crediting on anyone else.

Jimin's with you hoodie - named to be used as his self made merchandise for his first OST work

Jimin's Jeju visit in December which possibly was the time of filming of the final episodes of kdrama Our Blues - so I won't be surprised if he had planned his visit for a cameo in the last episodes .

Let me see if it it comes tue now that we're nearing last episodes of the kdrama

you loved your boyfriend's arms

and i mean... could anyone blame you?

the answer is no

i mean, first of all, they were so muscular

and not only were they muscular but they were just so big

andddd on top of all that, one of them was all tatted up

you loved it

and dw, jungkook knew that

when you guys first started dating, you tried to be more subtle about it

when he would walk around in his wife beaters, his arms on full display, you had to act chill and act like you totally weren't freaking out

when he hugged you from behind, you had to act like you weren't staring at his hands and arms

you had to act like you weren't melting into his hold

until jungkook realized how much you liked it one day and you didn't have to anymore..

it was so different now

a big habit of yours would be to trace his tattoos

you'd do it mindlessly while watching a movie together

or while you're in some waiting room somewhere

especially when you're cuddled up in bed together

you'd wake up earlier than him a lot of the time (unsurprisingly since he stayed up really late most of the time)

you didn't exactly want to leave the bed yet but at the same time, you didn't have anything better to do so....

your eyes would go over to his arm which was always draped over your torso

you'd bring your hand to it and would just trace all the little designs and letters

it didn't only calm you but him as well

for example...

whenever jungkook is really stressed with work

and just needing some comforting

you'd lay with him and just trace his tattoos

the feeling of your fingers softly grazing his skin was so relaxing for him

he'd end up calming down

anyways, enough with his tattoos

sorry i just love them so much

i feel like his arms would be such a comforting thing for you

unconsciously too

like whenever you guys were in a crowded place, your first instinct would be to hold onto his arm

or whenever you were scared after watching a horror movie, you'd hold onto his arm as you walked back to your bedroom (yes i was thinking back to my other post lol)

jungkook would love it so much too because it really showed that you felt safe around him

Okay But What If...

The reason we have not seen Park Jimin in anything other than long sleeves all season is...

...new ink? I know, I KNOW. I am delusional, we are ALL AWARE OKAY but just go with me on this. Usually Jimin is in short sleeves, or, you know, naked.

But Jimin hasn't been seen with his arms exposed since they left Las Vegas that I know of. CORRECT ME IF YOU CAN I NEED TO BE WRONG ABOUT THIS I CANNOT SLEEP but we got this in PTD Live Onstage oh hey Jeon whatcha lookin at, buddy

And we saw this in Vegas, no evidence of new ink except the Youth and moon tattoos WHICH WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH THANK YOU SIR

But with the exception of maybe MAYBE a photoshoot here or there, if even that, I really don't think we've seen much of Jiminie's arms, lately. He even did this with long sleeves on (thanks to whoever edited this version, it's quite pretty):

But GAWD YSJ, you may be saying, WHY YOU SUCH A THIRSTY BITCH and the answer is that I am single, fairly recently divorced, and love beautiful men who are both intelligent and totally unavailable. It's a problem. I've sought counseling, let me breathe, DAMN.

I'm not even talking about that shadow or bruise up there that people seem to think is a shoulder tat. I'm not talking about his moons or whatever he has on his back. (Because, let's be fair, we think we know and we might be right but we have no confirmation. What if it's a whole snecky snek or, like, a bunch of emojis? Or a segmented dragon?)

I'm talking about that right arm at elbow/forearm level. Enough ink to sit through some pain for awhile. And don't come at me about "that would hurt," the man has tattooed his rib cage FFS. And his spine. And behind his ear. He done hit the ouchy spots long ago.

Could it just be shadows? YES BUT WHERE'S THE FUN IN THAT HUH?

I'm just saying maybe Polyc has been doing a little worky work on members other than Jungkook. I mean we already know Jimin and Jungkook both went to Blind Studio at around the same time, possibly together, remember those autographs and that whole guy that apparently isn't Koo's artist anymore?

Yeah so it's not out of the realm of possibility, is all I'm saying, and I probably won't say it out loud too much more until we see the man's arms again.

TAKE IT OFF PARK JIMIN, PROVE ME WRONG I DARE YOU. And while you're at it, I have questions about how low that spine piece goes.
