Epic Supergirl: Strength and Beauty by Jade Gretz
The Metropolis skyline shimmered under the setting sun, casting long shadows that danced across the Daily Planet building. Kara Zor-El, better known as Supergirl, perched on the gargoyle overlooking her adopted city, a familiar ache in her chest. News reports of a brutal mugging, the victim a young woman named Sarah, played on a loop in her mind. The city, despite her constant vigilance, still harbored darkness.
Suddenly, an icy wind whipped around her, swirling with an unnatural intensity. Her cape, usually a vibrant red, seemed to twist and writhe, the fabric absorbing the sunlight, turning an ominous shade of crimson. A prickling sensation traveled up her spine, a whisper of malevolent energy emanating from the cape itself.
Dismissing it as an oddity caused by the changing weather, Kara flew towards her apartment, the strange sensation lingering. Removing the cape, she tossed it onto a chair, its color returning to its usual vibrant red. The apartment door chimed, revealing Lena Luthor, her best friend and confidante.
"Rough day, Kara?" Lena asked, her gaze falling on the discarded cape.
"Another senseless attack," Kara sighed, summarizing the news report. "It feels like I'm always fighting an uphill battle."
As they talked, Lena's eyes kept flickering to the cape. "There's something… different about it," she observed, her voice laced with unease.
Kara brushed it off, attributing it to Lena's heightened awareness. They spent the night catching up, the strange sensation in the cape fading to a distant memory.
The next morning, Kara awoke to a blood-curdling scream. Rushing out, she found a scene of utter chaos. People were fleeing in terror, a young man lay motionless on the ground, his face contorted in a mask of horror. Above it all, her cape, now a deep, menacing crimson, hovered in mid-air, its folds writhing like an angry serpent.
Panic clawed at Kara's throat. Her symbol of hope had become the harbinger of death. As she tried to approach the cape, it lashed out, repelling her with an invisible force. A chilling voice echoed in her mind,

The Red Daughter of Krypton
With all of James Gunn’s announcements for the DCU going forward, I thought I would throw this out in the hopes we might see something like things going forward.
I mean we have both a Lanterns series and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow film coming so the groundwork is already there.
Hope you like it!

Who is Kara DC Supergirl Powers and Weaknesses Explained – Popgeek
Unlike the old Supergirl version, who is Superman’s cousin and co-exists as the last children of Krypton in the DC universe, The Flash Supergirl Kara is an imprisoned Kryptonian who comes from an alternate universe to fight General Zod and helps Barry Allen and Batman protect Earth. As she appears in The Flash Super Bowl trailer, Barry Allen says it’s not Clark, which suggests that Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel doesn’t exist in The Flash Universe or possibly he is dead. Interestingly Sasha Calle’s Kara DC character looks much similar to Henry Cavill’s Batman, so it's precise this supergirl is related to superman, but exactly how is not certain yet. And what intrigues us most is her appearance, which is completely different from what we have read about Kara Zor El in DC comics.

Majestic Supergirl: Flight of Elegance by Jade Gretz
A blinding flash of emerald light engulfed Supergirl. One moment she was soaring above National City, the familiar warmth of the sun on her back, the next, a suffocating darkness pressed in on her. Disoriented, she stumbled to her feet, the once bustling cityscape replaced by a twisted landscape of jagged obsidian towers and perpetually churning skies.
Gone was the vibrant blue of Earth's sky, replaced by a sickly, swirling green. The air crackled with a malevolent energy, and a putrid stench filled Supergirl's nostrils. Panic clawed at her throat. Where was she? What had happened?
Suddenly, a flicker of movement in the distance caught her eye. A figure, clad in a familiar blue and red, but with a sinister twist. The costume was tattered and stained, the red replaced by a deep, menacing crimson. Supergirl's heart lurched – it was her, but twisted, corrupted.
"Kara?" she called out, her voice echoing eerily in the desolate landscape.
The figure stopped, its head snapping towards her. Where Supergirl bore the symbol of hope, a stygian black sun emblazoned the chest of this shadow-self. The face, a near-perfect copy of Kara's with eyes burning an unnatural crimson, stretched into a grotesque parody of a smile.
"Lost, little cousin?" a voice echoed from within the darkness, its melodic cadence distorted with a chilling malice. The shadow-Supergirl stepped closer, her movements predatory. "Welcome to the Blighted Dimension, cousin. We've been expecting you."
Fear prickled at Supergirl's skin, but she squared her shoulders, forcing a semblance of defiance. "Who are you? Where's Superman?"
The shadow-Supergirl threw her head back and let out a chilling laugh, the sound devoid of humor, echoing through the wasteland. "Superman? He's here too, Kara," she sneered, "but not quite the way you remember him."
As if on cue, a hulking figure emerged from the obsidian towers. It was Superman, clad in his signature blue and red, but the red was a sickly, pulsating maroon. His eyes, once bright with determination, glowed an unnatural yellow, his face etched with
