I must be going crazy...

I had this sudden urge to read old voltron LD fics and I went onto Ao3 to search for this one soulmate au pidge x lotor fic (sue me I luv this ship) where Lotor is already emperor and decides to peacefully ask Earth to join the Galran Empire (bc he learned is soulmate is there). He rescues Matt and Sam Holt and returns them to Earth and he meets Pidge

Tbh I'm usually not into soulmate au but this was enjoyable.

However....

I CANT FIND THE STORY ANYWHERE!

And no I can't remember the name. But I've looked through all the tags for the fiction I can remember individually (too many) and I couldn't find it!

Because I found this part of the story a little confusing, Shiro didn't die, Keith found him in the battle field after killing Zarkon. And he stayed dead. Disclaimer: I don't ship Lotor and Pidge canonaly but that doesn't mean I can't create an AU where it happens, right? I mostly made this so Wattpad could finally have a over arching story for Lotor x pidge instead of a single short chapter. The other stuff for them always ends up being Keith and Pidge for some reason and Lotor's a big pervert in those, so I wanted an actual ship for them.

I was explaining Tron: Uprising to my friend and got to the part about Paige starting to like Beck when one hilarious slip-up happened. I wanted to say "...and that's why Paige wants to shag the mechanic" but I was sleep-deprived so I said "...and that's why Pidge wants to shag the mechanic" .

Then my friend said "Wait, Pidge? Like, Pidge from you-know-what?" and I realised my mistake and burst into laughter.

Now I've got this stupid idea.

Imagine her being a medical program who also enjoys making music (or engineering, since it suits her) with her pre-cut hair.

That's cute, isn't it? But:

Don't think about her losing her friends.

Don't think about her joining the Occupation thinking that they saved her.

Don't imagine her changing her hair as an attempt to move on.

Don't think about her caring for the citizens despite being an officer.

Don't think about her meeting the Renegade and engaging in a mutual foe yay flirting with him. Trying to stop him all the time. Gaining his respect.

So this is a new page, and I thought I would use it to promote the fanfiction I’ve been working on for this tag :) It currently has 7 chapters with a little more than 52,000 words! It is a work in progress. 

It’s called Not As Bad As We Thought and it’s located on both fanfiction.net and ao3!  Both are under my user MorningStories.

Here’s the summary~
