"I can't lose this feeling, I can't lose you!" Majesty
First Asgore ask! Ahhh! I'm so excited >w<
Majesty was a very well known, and very feared monster. Every monster in the underground knew of the king, and knew what he could do.
After his son died, and his wife left, he got even more aggressive. He would kill any human that fell into the underground, and sometimes he would even dust monsters if they spoke back to him too much. Sometimes even if they didn't, if it was a bad day.
Every monster knew to fear him.
And to respect him.
He was the one that would take all 7 human souls, become a God, and let them out of the underground so they could go and destroy the rest of the humans for sealing them underground. It would be a better version of the past.
But then... there was Y/n.
They were a human that was caught by the Royal Guards, and they were brought to him. Edge was the one to find them, and of course Majesty praised him. “I made the right choice when I made you the leader instead of her” and he was going to kill the human.
Something stopped him.
Maybe it was the fight in their eyes, the way that they looked at him with no fear in their eyes... or was it something else? The way his soul jolted? He didn't know.
They didn't die that day.
At first, he only kept them alive because they caught his attention but slowly, they caught more than his attention. He started to care about them, and he was unsure on why. They reminded him a little of Mistress, if he had to be honest! He still loved her but he knew that she would never love him again.
Now, he isn't saying that Y/n was just a replacement for her, more just how Y/n acted, it reminded him of her! It was quite enjoyable. They didn't just cower away from him, and they even sometimes spoke back. It made Majesty pretty happy. He thought it was so funny!
Now if anyone else did it? No, he wouldn't allow that.
It took a while, but finally, they seemed to be pretty happy with him which was good. Sometiems he sat while listening to people talk, and held Y/n on his lap rubbing their hips, bored.
If someone was idiotic enough to try to fight him, oh well, he could easily handle it... why did the Royal Guards even need to talk to him?
Y/n was so small compared to him.
Literally! He felt like he could easily crush them whenever he touched them, it was so cute~
And, he was pretty sure that they were happy with him. Sure, he wouldn't allow them to go outside unless he was with them, or one of the Royal Guards but he gave them anything that they wanted. No matter what it was! Hell, he would even kill monsters if that's what they wanted him to do.
He gave them the most comfortable blankets, the best tasting food. Anything.
Today, he went to their bedroom to check on them and perks up when he saw that they weren't in there. The door had been locked, so how did they leave? His eyes scan around, through his bangs of black hair, until they landed on the window. Cloth hanging down...
They climbed out!?
He growls under his breath, and rushes towards the door. His footsteps pounded on the ground, Almost matching the pounding of his soul. Why would Y/n try to leave him? Did they want to get back to their family? The family that let them climb the mountain and fall in?! He had been treating them so well, and this is how they repay him??
He grabbed his trident as he ran out of the door. He had a feeling he knew where they were heading.
If he lost them... he didn't know what he would do. He felt a love again and that love was going to just leave! Even though he's done so much to make them happy.
Quickly he made it to where the barrier would be, seeing them standing so he holds up his hand, calling out "Y/n! Where are you going?"
They tense up, turning their head to look at him. They were holding the soul of a monster, it giving off the faintest of white glows. Who did they... it didn't matter.
"I... I want to go home" They say, "I've been spending too much time here. I can't stay here forever"
No no no no.
"Y/n, please" he steps closer, "I can't lose this feeling, I can't lose you." he tightens his grip on the trident, knocking it against the ground, as he continues to talk "After everything I did for you, you can't think that you can get away and stay away, do you?"
Y/n steps back from him, closer to the glow of the barrier.
"I will get out of here, and I will find you. If I find you, I am going to slaughter everyone that you're leaving me for. Think about this carefully"
Y/n tightens their grip on the soul, then shakes their head and quickly steps backwards through the barrier.
His red eyes widen, and he rushes forward hitting his fist against the barrier "Y/n!" he roars, "How dare you try to leave me?! I'm going to find you!" he saw them running away but he kept shouting, hitting his fist against the barrier until they were gone from his sight, and that's when he allowed his knees to buckle, sending him down to the ground again.
He was alone...
Again.
He was going to find them, and he was going to kill them for leaving him like that.

“What... is that?”
“What’s what?”
“That... thing. That right there.”
“’Unno, some rusted pre-Collapse crap. Who cares?”
“Who cares? Who cares? Don’t you recognize majesty when you see it?”
“...Majesty?”
“I mean my gods, just look at it! The sheer, raw, unbridled... strength.”
“We are talking about the same crusty, busted-ass little vehicle sitting over there going to rot, right?”
“Whatever this was, it was no mere vehicle, my friend. This was a symbol, an idol, the embodiment of the peak of human might!”
“Are you... feeling OK? The fumes coming off that Hive gunk in the tunnel back there were pretty thick. Your rebreather loose or something?”
“I feel wonderful! Something like this... it’s just... inspiring.”
“Well, uh... if you like it so much, why not bring it back to the hangar, see if Holliday can restore it or something?”
“Oh, if only we could—but I wouldn’t dare. Even with all our power and artistry, we could never do it justice. It is exquisite and beyond us. I must content myself with the privilege of being in its presence as it is.”
“...OK then.”
