So I was trying to find out what the Pandoran ocean’s salinity might be to see if I can conceivably cook a dish with salt (I imagine the Na’vi probably aren’t mining rock salt so I’m just skipping that) and while I did not learn that, here’s what I did learn

Pandora has more ocean than Earth

Pandora has significantly more acidic oceans than current Earth due to the massive amounts of carbon dioxide in the air. For comparison, earth’s oceans have a roughly 8.05 pH at the moment (though it’s projected to drop to 7.7 by 2100) (important to this, pH is exponential, so a pH of 8 is 10x more alkaline than a pH of 7 so that will wreak havoc on the oceans if it gets to then) and the carbon dioxide from the air that’s throwing all this off is about .04% of the current Earth’s atmosphere. Meanwhile, Pandora has an 18% carbon dioxide atmosphere

Pandora’s oceans might not be salty at all, that’s a possibility

Pandora’s oceans do have a bunch of sulfur in them due to all the volcanic activity and thermal vents. They presumably also have other things as well, such as potassium, zinc, and copper that also come out of Earth’s thermal vents. They probably also have some unobtainium too, because Pandora

Pandora has 5 distinct levels of ocean: Epipelagic (Sunlight), Mesopelagic (Twilight), Bathylpelagic (Midnight), Abyssopelagic (Abyssal), and Hadalpelagic (Trench), all five of which have life in them

There is an official Pandoran Ocean Simulator, which you can make a Pandoran-style creature and release it into a virtual ocean, where it will swim around indefinitely

Anyways, this did not answer my question but it does give me new questions, like is Na'vi sweat or skin oils super alkaline to combat being dissolved in the ocean and does Ronal have alkaline eyedrops for the Sully’s and anyone else who actually opens their eyes underwater instead of using their clear eyelids and is that even needed?

Stuck on themyscria

Danny after finishing a gruelling mission for clockwork, gets stranded in the dc universe on themyscria, somehow unable to leave... he thinks its OK at first, he can treat it like a small vacation! there's a nice beach, fruit trees, he can go fishing and strangely he doesn't feel weak from the lack of ectoplasm in this worlds air.

However after a few brief encounters Danny decides to be extremly petty towards the Amazon's and pull pranks on them.

The Amazon's who have decided to kill him for being a man on the island (it doesn't help his case that he forgot aunty Pandora's teachings and what offering apples to women meant)

The Amazonians meanwhile can sense Danny's power and think if he's not mortal then he's probably Zeus or one of the other 'horny' gods in disguise.

(No turning into a goose here Zeus!)

Meanwhile Clockwork is confused, danny should have been back days ago but he can't find him anywhere... why is Pandora in his tower? Why is she grinning?

anon I’m not even joking but right as you sent me this a friend texted me “i see you listening to a lot of ariana grande that album's gonna rot your brain be careful…” verbatim what he said 💀💀. I will admit that I have been in my ariana bag since she released eternal sunshine. she’s not in my usual rotation, but that album has me in a chokehold (to my surprise, bc I rly did think it would be mid). anyway this question is rly fuckin hard bc I like a lot of songs off her discography, but my current top three would be:

break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored but very specifically this version of it. the instrumental. her harmonies at the end. the studio version does not even come close to me. i have bumped this so many times i lost count.

FANTASIZE. it’s tied for my number one tbh, i genuinely think this is one of the best songs and that she should fuckin release it already. anyone who has not listened to this is missing something in their life. it’s so good.

THE BOY IS MINE it’s so good. the way it slows down before the beat drops. her voice. the harmonies. how she STACKED her vocals ugh I love how often she does that. Some sketches of Oceana! It's finally time to talk about her!

Oceana belongs to me. She was ever so slightly inspired by Pandora, who belongs to @starrjoy

Oceana is literally the ocean. All water is her water and an extension of her body. She can be anywhere there is water, and also controls water related storms. She's not quite a goddess, but she's still mega powerful.

Oceana takes the form of a hedgehog because Splash is one, but she can really look however she wants. Most of the time she's Splash's height (so she's short, lol) but again, she can look however she wants. Oceana talks in a an ancient water language made of bubbles and other such sounds that only Splash can understand.

Oceana gifted Splash with several abilities. First, he can control water like a waterbender/hydrokinetic. If she decides she doesn't like what he's doing though, she can refuse him control. She also gave him the ability to walk on water, be a really good and fast swimmer, and the inability to drown. He can breathe underwater, but you just straight up can't down him no matter how hard you try.

Oceana is a bit of a temperamental girl. She's easily offended and angered. She's sarcastic and kinda petty. She has a massive soft spot for Splash though. She hardly ever gets mad at him and loves him to death. Oceana tends to get frustrated easily. Splash is great at getting her to calm down and often acts as her anchor.

So, what would happen if Oceana ever met Pandora? Well, she'd get enormously angry the moment she found out what Pandora did. Oceana would probably immediately start battling her for revenge. Who would win? I don't know! But I don't think it would be an easy fight either way.
