This could be weather literally, such as: characters enjoying the sun, dealing with rainy days and having to cancel plans, gleeful dancing in the rain, being snowed in, snowballs fights, or more dangerous forms of weather like blizzards, hurricanes, tornados! What kind of weather do they prefer, and what do they like to wear or do to prepare for different types of weather? For whump, characters getting sopping wet, hypothermic, having sunburn or sunstroke, and so on. Do they weather something, either physically like skin weathered by being outside, or mentally with getting through a difficult time? Something else, like a monument, location or item, they frequent or care about could be worn by exposure outside. Perhaps a ship they are on weathering a storm or taking advantage of the weather to get ahead. AUs with a weather related career like meteorologist, or they could have abilities to predict/control the weather. There's also many phrases with it in, such as fair-weather friend, under the weather, or to make heavy weather of something.

Fighting a feeling of attraction never worked. Maureen had accepted that the weeks after she met and fell in love with Dr Zoe Smith, her laugh soft when she finally works out what is making John so antsy.    “You know, I won’t be mad if you want to spend time with Don too...”    “I’m not... I... I’m not gay?”    “Bi maybe?”    Don’s voice breaks into their conversation and John straightens to his full height in moments, Dr. Smith moving to settle at Maureen’s side as she watches what comes next. She and John have come to understand each other, neither wants to be with the other person but they both adore Maureen enough to work on their friendship, making a polycule that works for them all. Now Don is making an attempt to get John to accept how he feels, with the blessing of both Dr. Smith and Maureen, the two women knowing John needed a friend and lover outside of them both desperately.     “I...”    John’s sigh is soft even as he moves closer to Don, looking him over and finally, finally, accepting his attraction.    “You are an unfairly handsome bastard, ya know that?”    “Look who’s talking.”    Don’s smirk is quick and John rolls his eyes then curses softly under his breath, moving to kiss Don, barely aware of Maureen’s happy laughter and Smith’s whistling. He’s home. Finally home. He won’t be alone now, ever.

Wolfgang was never really a chef but he wasn’t a bad cook either. He had to learn to cook for himself at a young age after his mother left and his father would be too drunk to feed him anything. It was one of those things he never questioned about his life: he cooked because he had to eat if he wanted to survive, it was not a big deal. Except, it felt like a big deal now as he stood outside of Kala’s father’s restaurant, mustering the courage to go inside and ask if he could help Wolfgang cook something for their anniversary. Rajan had already made plans for dinner, but Wolfgang was sure he could manage to make them a decent lunch that didn’t rely partially on a microwave. He paced outside for a while, trying to make out what words to use, because the cluster teased him for a reason: he was not good at asking for help when he needed it. Wolfgang was about to leave when he heard Sanyam say, “you’re scaring the customers, Wolfgang. Just come inside.”

Weather (Star Ocean 2, Claude/Rena/Precis)

Title: Weather Fandom: Star Ocean 2 Characters: Claude/Precis/Rena Precis has a few science questions. Written for PolyamShippingDay at @polyamships, prompt was Weather.

"Is it true that there's no weather in space?" Precis had asked during one of his visits, lounging on her bed as Rena went over her notes.

Claude had been quiet for a moment, and Rena could see the crease in his forehead that showed up when one of them had asked a question that he wasn't sure how to answer. The last time she'd seen it was when he'd told them that a rainbow was light being refracted by the rain, and Precis had asked him if that "faster than light" travel that he'd mentioned would let someone get to the end of it and find the spirits that the legends talked about.

"Not as we know it," he finally said, "but that's because the kind of weather we see on planets like this one relies on there being an atmosphere. There has to be air, and water vapor in the air, and heat from the sun, or else there's no rain. If there's no air, we can't have windy days."

"Huh," she said. "I still don't get how there can't be any air out there. How do you live out there with no air?"

"Didn't he explain this before?" Rena asked, looking up from the notes. "They take their own air. Right, Claude?"

He'd nodded along with her. "It's more complicated than that, but yes, that's the simple explanation. If we didn't have air, we'd die."

"Does that mean you have weather on the ships?"

"Only the really big ones," Claude said, a bit more quickly, and Rena can see he's smiling. "That's on purpose, though - they make it rain like it does on Earth or Expel, so that they can grow plants."

"Wow." She leaned back, closing her eyes. "You're going to take us up to space one day, right? Rena and I, I mean?"

Rena sighed quietly. Precis had been asking him that ever since he'd told her the truth about who he was and where he was from, and every time she'd asked, Claude had just looked worried. "I can't make promises about that," he'd told Rena privately, "even though I want to. But the Federation... I still don't know what they'd say if I told them. I'd like to think they'd let Excel join them within our lifetime, but... it can take years. Decades, even."

Precis reached out, took Claude's hand. "You always look sad when I say that," she said. "It must be tough."

"I... it is," he admitted.

"So why don't we help? If Poppa and I could build something that could go to space ourselves, they couldn't really stop us. Could they?"

"That... would be a lot harder than you think," he managed, but Rena could see the delight in his eyes.

"But could we do it?" Precis pressed.

"Yeah, of course. If you could make a ship capable of surviving in space, they'd probably let the planet join on the spot."

"Sounds like a fun challenge!" Precis laughed, still lying on the couch, and opened her eyes to look at Rena. "You'd help us, right? Then we could visit Claude at home, for once!"

Rena looked from one to the other, Precis smiling like a troublemaker and Claude clearly impressed and worried at the same time. "I don't know if we could do it," Rena said, "but for that, I'd try."

Claude shook his head. "I don't think I could stop you if I tried," he said, the slightest hint of a groan audible in his voice, "but promise me you'll be careful. There's a lot that can go wrong, and that's before you get off the ground."

"Oh, don't worry. This isn't my first time building really crazy stuff." Precis opened her eyes just long enough to wink at him before settling back down, leaving Claude and Rena looking at each other. Claude looked so flustered, as was so often the case with Precis; Rena was sure that she did it on purpose.

She also knew that she couldn't possibly hide her amusement, so she didn't try.

It often happened when one was working, the casual trade of clothes especially when one of them is doing laundry.

“Kacchan? Is this going in your pile or mine?” Izuku asked, holding up a Dynamite hoodie.

“Kora’s. She traded one of her necklaces for it while I’m away.” Bakugo replied.

“You didn’t ask for anything of mine?”

“Deku you do remember that you are coming with me, right?”

“Oh yeah,” Izuku looked down before looking back up, “Kora didn’t ask for anything of mine.”

“She has your blanket, as well as a pair of your pants. Sometimes I wonder if you have any usable memories.”

Other times it’s just soft and easy, like during movie nights with friends. Kora would lean close to Izuku and press soft kisses to his cheek to get his attention before cheekily taking his blanket when he leans in for a kiss on the lips.

Another time which only happened once was in the kitchen when Kora had attempted to cook.

“Kats please just try it, if it’s bad i’ll stop cooking all together.” Kora mumbled out sad that she burnt another meal.

“I won't try it but tomorrow you can help me cook so you can feel like you have achieved something in the kitchen.”

“Izuku’s favourite meal tomorrow for his birthday?”

Katsuki ignored the question and just screamed, “I forgot his birthday!”
