As we all mourn the tragic passing of the INCREDIBLE Atsushi Sakurai, I would like to honor him. Sadly I had made this magazine before his passing, and presented it almost in tears today in class, but it features Atsushi on the cover and a three spread article featuring Buck-Tick

sorry i haven’t been posting much. i haven’t had time to draw a ton on my tablet since all of my studio classes are traditional this quarter.

currently obsessed with grian and have been watching both old and current hermitcraft so so much. i’m doing a piece based off of Moon’s Big for my drawing class, and i’m very excited about it. :)

have a crappy-drawn grian that i i did as a warmup the other day— ironically keeping a video on in the background makes me do my homework faster. most of the time. :)

I would like to take a moment to say, for all the time I’ve been on the internet, I appreciate all of you for being there and supporting me and my work. Now I’m not saying that because I’m leaving social media or anything, but just to acknowledge how far I’ve come in my work and myself. And now I’m finally able to hopefully achieve my goals and dreams of sharing my creations with more of the world! Hermitcraft - MOON’S BIG! (Pencil Cover)

Made this for an assignment for my Materials and Techniques class this quarter. We had to make a comic cover, but it could be based on anything we wanted, with a few restrictions on what needed to be included (SCAD logo, title, artist name, issue #). I’ve been obsessed with Hermitcraft lately, so of course this was the first thing that came to mind. It was super fun to work on- never drawn Mumbo before!

I hope I get to draw them for some more academic work this quarter.
