Sk8 the Infinity Headcanons

No one’s name in Miya’s phone is their actual name: Reki is Dollar Store Ariel, Langa is Elsa’s Lost Snowman, Shadow is Mister Lonely, and of course Cherry and Joe are Mommy and Daddy

The kids get discounts at Joe’s restaurant since they’re there so much

Cherry helps Langa with his Japanese from time to time (Langa’s teachers have been noticing more and more improvement)

Cherry can’t figure out why everyone keeps calling him Pinkie Pie, if anything his hair is more reminiscent of Fluttershy’s

After finding out Joe studied in Italy, Reki began to ask him about it (How different is the time zone? Was anyone with you or did you travel alone? Are the cafés as good as they look online? Was there a bad language barrier? Did you go to an opera? Etc.) Joe plans to surprise Reki with a trip to Italy when he graduates.

It took Langa a month to remember everyone’s names. Reki was ‘the energetic one’, Shadow was ‘flower clown’, Miya was ‘Meowth from Pokémon’, Joe was ‘the guy who always forgets his shirt’, and Cherry was ‘the one with pink hair who keeps ditching his glasses’.

They’re often mistaken as a family whenever they hang out, mainly because the kids are often referred to as “the kids” (and a few times “our kids” when they lost said kids in the shopping center).

Some people at S have begun to speculate if Joe and Cherry had adopted Reki, Langa, and Miya when the kids first got to S. They view Reki as taking after Joe the most and Miya as taking after Cherry the most. Langa is viewed as somewhere in-between but is leaning slightly more towards taking after Cherry. (Both Joe and Cherry are well aware of the rumors but have said nothing, Miya knows and plays into it, Reki and Langa have been too focused on skating and each other to notice)

Sure, maybe Kaoru and Kojiro hadn’t explicitly said that they were dating.

But they knew every detail about each other – they had a lifetime of memories together (and the photos to prove it), knew each other’s families, had keys to each other's apartments, not to mention the fact that they bickered like an old married couple – their friends really had to be dense not to pick up on any of that.

Point was, a relationship reveal was greatly overdue.

5 times Kaoru tried to reveal that he's dating Kojiro, and 1 time it actually works.

a break from ur regularly scheduled doginahat posts for CHERRY JOE AND MIYA HEADCANONS. they are the sweetest happiest family and they make my heart so soft. please enjoy

- joe is papa and cherry is dad argue with the wall

- miya has frequent nightmares / insomnia & cherry and joe are so patient with getting him back to sleep. cherry brings back his old lullabies, joe reads to him, they make tea for him and make time to cuddle and love on miya so he’ll fall asleep feeling safe

- cherry and joe have been calling miya “mimi” ever since they got close with him and it is a CHERRY AND JOE ONLY THING. a dad & papa only nickname. shadow overheard once tho and now he never lets miya live it down

- miya is obv a moody teenager with an attitude.. so ofc he yells at them sometimes and will slam doors and says shit he doesn’t mean. but he always gives them each a hug and a tearful apology. at the end of the day, miya loves his dads more than anything

- around S hes a bit more distant from cherry and joe.. probably causing mayhem with reki langa & shadow or doing tricks to show off. at home tho miya never gets tired of the affection & kisses & hugs from his parents he’s such a baby

- miya has super thick hair and had no fuckin clue how to handle it until cherry stepped in to help him brush it out & dry it after miya washed it (pushing my cherry can style hair very well agenda)

- cherry’s homescreen is a photo of joe sleeping on the couch on his back w/ his arms cradling miya who is sleeping against his chest

They were invited to Gowpenny Academy and were immediately ride-or-die, best friends, allies in the face of elitist wizards and demonic entities. They performed an exorcism with the power of friendship and shouted down wizard nazis with a chant that inspired a whole house of students. They are the best of friends and each other’s support system.

I can’t sleep, so I’m trying to think of fic ideas instead

- the sk8 found family go on a mission to unalive ad*m

- chuuya gets sick and only dazai is willing to deal with him, but his pm friends try at first

- Soukoku relationship reveal at the Ada, ranpo already knew

- yosano and dazai acknowledge that they have both been hurt by m*ri, and bond a little

- atsushi just wants a day off, everyone else has decided that’s a stupid idea

- Miya keeps showing up at joes restaurant and it becomes a normal thing, he gets adopted by joe and cherry, there’s also angst

- hunter discovers the wonders of noise canceling headphones

- gin and akutagawa have their weekly sibling tea meetup
