they really are touching on the subject of what it means to be an "Avenger" in this chapter... that bloody trail guda leaves as they move forward represents their despair, the exhaustion in their body feels as if carrying weight when they have nothing on them but their own self. guda's journey is a path of blood where they leave a trail behind, a mark of victory, a mark of defeat, a mark that they were there and has moved forward.

but the anger - the flames that dont burn engulf those tracks leave them empty, almost lifeless. numb. but thats the dangerous part. being empty. and so you find something to feel that emptiness. happiness. enjoyment. and so you cant help but lean over to death and destruction as you make your way down the hill to cross over to another destination.

and so for that to be prevented, you need an unwavering will of steel to prevent your body, your mind, your heart from going numb from both the despair and anger that could tear you and those you love apart.

so…i went to TOC on the 19th, and let me tell you, it so effing KICKED ASS! i got there and i was right near the buses, amd who was there but non-other than MCR…it was just me and my friend, so i yelled out gerard's name and he turned around and waved to me and i was like holyfuckingcows ….though i did not meet him ( ;/) i was so happy, it like made my life…mcr was so hottduring the show!!! and after me and my friend were like waiting around so i went by this fence were all of these rodies were packing up soveniers and stuff and i was omg! bob was coming so i was like can u sign my cd, i was so nervous that i said it kinda quietly and he was like ya sure! so all of these stupid girls were like omg! who is that and i was like the drummer from mcr, and sure enough, the screamfest began, then he asked if he could use my pen i was yessssss……so after i met ray but then he left cuz the idiot ppl were likeblah blha….it was happinesssssssssssssssss!

Gojo's idea of getting your attention when you're a new teacher at Tokyo Tech is committing the crime of eating your bento box that you packed for lunch and stored in the fridge in the lounge. You can't believe when you went to retrieve it only to find it completely missing and nowhere to be found. This left a really bad impression of the annoying idiot who stole your entire lunch—Seriously, who even does that?? And you were adamant at getting down to the bottom of it so you wrote a note to the Bento Box Thief and stuck it on the fridge.

After the back and forth exchange throughout the afternoon, which became exceedingly clear that it's nothing more than a game from the culprits' end, you had a really strong desire to punch him in the face when you find him out. The last note Gojo writes to you is the time and address to a fancy restaurant as a way of making it up to you, and you almost want to stand him up but you couldn't possibly miss the chance to meet him and decide on your sweet revenge.

#the 'revenge' is ordering every expensive item and wine bottle on the menu hoping he'll sweat when you keep listing one thing after another #then come to find out gojo comes from money and can easily afford it which puts a damper on your plan and he finds it entertaining #dare I say even adorable?#you just became even more interesting and enticing to him—his taste is questionable but he isn't exactly normal either #he's definitely working on getting a second date with you but you keep playing hard to get (that's alright he loves a challenge)#gojo satoru #gojo x reader

She’d merely been venting her frustrations to her dorm mates in the common room, she hadn’t expected advice and well… plotting. sorry for speaking my truth it will happen again. i think my main issue with valax’s redemption arc is literally just that there’s never a moment where the mc gets to actually talk to her about what she did—there’s not really a cathartic conversation, so valax and mc moving past what she did to them feels less like forgiveness and redemption and more like an agreement to ignore the elephant in the room

like sure we got to talk about our trauma (in chapter 17 of 20. lol. lmao, even) to the party, but valax wasn’t present for that?? and like, sure, she says once that she is sorry “for the pain she caused [them]”, but there’s a difference Tew Me between “sorry for hurting you ig ✌️😗” and actually being like “yeah, i abducted you and forced you into a magically induced coma and stole your blood and robbed you of a full year of your life and repeatedly tried to murder you, to say nothing of the grief i caused your loved ones. i did all that shit and i’m sorry for it and deeply regret it, and i acknowledge that you don’t owe me forgiveness, but i will spend the rest of my life working to build a better world for my people instead of being my mother’s pawn”, and a difference between “my mother is unhappy with me for saving you :(” and actually like, giving the mc space to talk about the impact of her actions towards them. like girl you are not getting out of this shit with one sentence’s worth of apology and a sex scene lmfao!!!

during the first half or so of the book the focus for mc is not falling the fuck apart bc they have a friend group to tentatively piece together and they’re averse to showing fear in front of valax, so they’re repressing all their trauma—and by the time valax joins the party, the narrative has gone full Valax Cool And Good mode, and fully allows you to flirt with her and tease her and generally stops taking her seriously as an antagonist. which would be all fine and good if we had actually at any point gotten to be like, “hey, you abducting me and keeping me in a magically induced coma and stealing my blood and trying to kill me has actually caused me a lot of lasting fear and pain,” followed by some set of choices wrt forgiving or not forgiving her for all that in light of the revelation that she did all that shit bc her mom tortured and brainwashed her

like why are my friends more pissed off about the time this bitch abducted me and did evil little experiments on me than i am. free valax she did all that shit bc of her mommy issues but i should’ve gotten to call her a cunt just once. pb stop making all your mcs generals in the idgaf war challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
