#The Chosen One's Divine Protection Revealed

What specifically makes you say that the Ozpin circle is basically a cult?
not "basically" a cult—it is a cult.
ozpin's inner circle is a religious organization dedicated to safeguarding four divine relics entrusted to their leader, who is literally the god of light's chosen one, until he deems humanity prepared for the final judgment. its notionally secular nature likely exists because ozma figured out that publicly doing this:
“The others cheered in agreement. The man considered. He had wanted to bring people together, and his efforts were finally bearing fruit. The accidental experiment was working, far better than any attempts he had planned in his previous lifetimes. “The people here believe in magic, though many have never seen it,” she said. “If you show everyone that it’s real, that the man with infinite lifetimes has returned as he promised—” [...] “She shook her head. “We trust in you and the fate you’ve laid out for us. We believe in the good of people and our shared responsibility to protect one another and Remnant. So many have heard our stories about you, but now you’re here, in the flesh. Your presence is living proof that everything you’ve said is true. It reinforces our beliefs and commitment to the Circle. Together, now, we will make ready for the final judgment.” [...] “And for a time, all that the woman had said seemed to come true. Many more followers flocked to Circle and their reputation and message spread all throughout Remnant. This was what he was here for, he thought. Perhaps, in the end, he would be able to rest.”
inevitably leads to conflict because, surprise! people don't like being told what to do by eschatological cults!
but ozpin's circle is not in fact secular—ozpin tells his hand-picked loyalists that the gods he serves are the Only True Gods and the whole point is that he's working to fulfill the mandate given to him by the god of light. the huntsmen academies are, inescapably, a religious institution.
moreover ozpin's circle is a cult not just in the broader sense of being religious in nature and dedicated to worship of a particular god but also in the narrower modern connotation of a high-control group organized around a charismatic leader. this is not a matter of interpretation; this is overt text. half the point of pyrrha's arc in V3 is to reveal this fact.
members of his inner circle are expected to work in absolute secrecy and—evinced by the antagonism between qrow and ironwood in V2-3, and the immediate suspicion of lionheart in V5—subject to intense scrutiny by other members against the possibility of betrayal. likewise, pyrrha is deliberately isolated from her peers (primarily through secrecy) and put under immense pressure when ozpin et al attempt to recruit her as their next fall maiden—all without informing her of anything beyond the very bare minimum facts of what they want her to do. "we can fill you in on the details once we know that you're with us."
and like. with the way those scenes in V3 are framed, with the very direct line drawn between ozpin's ruinous paranoia and secrecy and preoccupation with betrayal and ironwood's ruinous obsession with loyalty, and with the whole thing where the narrative continues to highlight how deeply and profoundly traumatized everyone who comes into contact with the inner circle ends up being... like, this is the intended reading. it is so unsubtle.
salem's circle is also a cult in the religious sense—she's, er, very explicitly receiving cult from tyrian and i would argue at least notionally from the others as well—and while it remains to be seen to what extent tyrian's belief that she would send him to hunt down anyone who left is grounded in reality, at a minimum she doesn't bother to do anything about it so the implicit threat is there to keep people in line.

Character Peek
Vessel of the Light Force
Tumblr media
Since there has been a lot of time going into the main character art posts, I've decided to do these to at least get some consistent posting in the meantime! :) Closeups and more details under "read more." Click them for better quality!
Her Radiance, Princess Zelda. This is the princess seen in the stained glass windows of Minish Cap, paired with the Hero of Men seen in the prologue. Along with being a princess, she takes on a priestess sort of role in her Hyrule (which is young, and although prosperous is very set back in terms of development thanks to the Era of Chaos). She is the daughter of King Gustaf. Her mother was from the Wind Tribe; Zelda originally had her red hair, but it was turned golden by absorbing the Light Force. Her birthday is April 28th.
Amidst the Era of Chaos, when Demise's armies resurfaced in vengeance for their fallen monster, she was overheard pleading for guidance by the Picori on the other side of a hidden, mystical door. They revealed themselves to her (it was believed that they were creations of Hylia in her era, so they believed a descendant could see them - and she could)! They pledged to help the people of Hyrule in their darkest hour, and Zelda has been an ambassador to them ever since. She is close friends with some of the Minish who have decided to stay.
With her help, the descended Minish crafted the Picori Blade with the inspiration of the ancient Goddess Sword, intended to vanquish the evil in the same way. They sought a hero to wield both it and the Light Force, a pure embodiment of their realm's energy. Zelda was chosen to protect it after the war's end, as her divine blood made her capable of doing so. Her absorbing the Light Force is actually what made Hylia's bloodline (her reincarnations) from then on capable of wielding her ethereal power even without the use of a relic.
She will not appear as often as her counterparts, but she plays a vital role in understanding the history of early Hyrule and the legacy of the Picori Blade. (For example, fashions! The wing accessories in her hair are meant to resemble lesser versions of Hylia's wings, and her casual clothes ended up inspiring the dresses of other toon counterparts).

AU Info:
In Another Life follows a fued of the Goddesses. Tired of the cycle caused by Demise's Curse, the three come to an agreement: they will break the boundaries of space and time and allow the fued to be settled by their Champions. If one seeking destruction, chosen by Din, holds victory, then the world will be erased and built again without the demon's influence. If the heroes blessed by Farore and the princess blessed by Nayru succeed in returning their foe to their seal, then the world will live on. Farore hopes too to end the cycle, but Nayru believes it not to be her place.
The eternal bond between Hylia and her chosen hero will be tested as Hyrule's branches in history reach out to them through broken mirrors. They have found each other in every lifetime - but will their unbreakable connection be enough to save existence itself?

Help I have another idea I need to share sjdnkek
This one's a bit wild ig so bear with me ok??! It's fluffy too and non toxic I think. I hope. Pls tell me this isn't somehow creepy I'm sorry if it is skskdkkd
SO- Aventurine × Ena! Reader.
Ena being ofc, the Gaiathra Triclops. In this version, even though everyone believes Ena was assimilated into Xipe, that's not what really happened - Ena instead made a deal with Xipe, trusting the Harmony to uphold Order, and willingly gave up their path and power as an Aeon, choosing to reincarnate as a mortal. And before they gave up their power, they did two last things: first, guarantee that their reincarnation would regain at least some knowledge of their previous life, i.e knowing that they were an Aeon before. And second, give out one last blessing to one of the people they watched over - Kakavasha.
Ena goes on to reincarnate (I'm thinking something like the Dan Heng/Dan Feng situation, so reader has dreams of their previous memories and such, but is a completely different person to who Ena was), and Reader!Ena lives a pretty tranquil life as a mortal - while Kakavasha goes through hell, and loses faith in the Gaiathra Triclops. I haven't given much thought to how they meet, but maybe Ena!Reader goes to Penacony out of curiosity for what a land presided by Harmony is like (given that they know they used to be the Aeon of Order, and that they had previously chosen to entrust Harmony with their path.) and they run into Aventurine there - and they just know. They can feel Ena's blessing on him, and they're immediately drawn to him.
Getting to know each other, creating a bond, trusting each other until Aventurine can open up about his past with them, and reader reveals their identity, and suddenly everything changes for him - he wasn't abandoned by his God, but rather they'd given him their final blessing before they passed - and reader has this strong urge to cherish and protect him, not because he's the child blessed by Ena, but because they've fallen for him. The complicated relationship they'll have to sort out where Kakavasha feels like Reader is a gift sent by Gaiathra, while Reader cherishes and worships him like he's the divine one. Aventurine being loved unconditionally and cherished for the first time, being basically worshiped by the Reader.. being treated like he's the most precious thing in the world, being looked at with pure love and adoration. The hurt, the confusion, the fear of being loved.. maybe reader can have some issues too and be so wholly devoted they'd do anything for him, no matter how much it might harm them, just to add a bit more trouble to work on.
I don't think I'll ever actually write any of my ideas (even though I do have a writing blog lmao) bc I'm too insecure about my writing and my inspiration bursts are too inconsistent, but thank you for reading my silly thoughts and letting me share them lol I really appreciate it, especially bc you're one of my favorite writers here <3
- Penacony DH smut anon (lol)
I DONT THINK ITS CREEPY AT ALL!! I adore reincarnation romances and I have a particular fondness for reincarnated deity romances. It would be so interesting to see Aventurine process this news. I really like the phrase you used wrt "the fear of being loved" - I think Aventurine would suffer very, very intensely from this fear under regular circumstances with a human. I can only imagine the state of panic he'd be in if he were the object of affection of the god who supposedly forsook him. augflgsjsk it would be so juicy... reader too I'm sure they're full of many complicated feelings just like dan heng is (I bet the two of them would be besties)
I'm sad hearing that you feel you won't write your ideas, I think they are so brilliant and I love reading them 🥺 you're always welcome to share them here - but please let me know if you do ever decide to post something, I'd love to read and reblog it <333

Necromancy
Technically necromancy is divination system that exploits the special powers of the dead. It has come to encompass contacting the dead by various means to extract information, about the future or otherwise. Necromancy is a word frequently misused and misunderstood: it’s been used as a catch-all label for any sort of cemetery desecration. Although desecration may occur in the name of communication (and one person’s ritual is another person’s desecration), vandalism and desecration for its own sake or for destructive purposes is not necromancy under any definition, and there are many methods of contact and speaking with dead souls that do not involve a trip to the graveyard, nor require any contact with a corpse at all.
Necromancy exists because the end of life doesn’t necessarily end the need for one person to talk to another. Necromancy also exists because some metaphysical systems believe that dead souls are the only ones privy to certain information and able to share that information in a lucid manner with the living.
Because it’s believed that the dead are no longer bound by the limitations of the mortal physical realm, they are able to foresee events, understand the past and be either persuaded or compelled to reveal these details. Necromancy may be used to reveal the future or to gain understanding of a past or current situation.
Two kinds of souls may be summoned:
Those with ties of love and loyalty to you, who are probably inclined to be helpful
Those who must be compelled to appear and provide assistance
Different methods of summoning exist for different souls. Whether there must be contact with the corpse depends upon the method chosen.
The ancient Greeks believed that the recently deceased were more coherent than those who had been dead for a while. In essence, the long-deceased are out of practice. The longer one has been dead, the further away from the land of the living one has drifted. It becomes harder for the living to understand the dead and likewise for the dead to comprehend the living person’s needs, desires, and even language. Hence, the Greeks’ inclination to use fresh corpses in necromantic ritual.
Of course, all of this depends upon whether you believe that love, loyalty, and consciousness transcend death. For some cultures, all semblance of human feelings and memory immediately ceases at death, therefore there can be nothing benevolent about contacting the dead. Any contact with the dead is thus, by definition, malevolent sorcery.
The most famous modern necromantic device is the ouija board, available at toy stores amongst the board games, and its relative, the planchette. This begs another point of consideration. Some philosophies consider that wisdom and foresight are acquired during the death process. Others believe that nature and intelligence after death remains what it was during life. In other words, if Aunt Sophie never gave you good advice while she was alive, what makes you think she’ll do any better now that she’s dead?
Be cautious whose advice is relied upon, whether it derives from living sources or those beyond the grave. The ouija board is considered something of a portal to the next realm: an open telephone line, as it were. Consider who speaks with you before continuing and maintaining any conversations.
These are all remnants of shamanic rites, out of context. When shamans are banished, people attempt to do needed jobs themselves, as best as they are able, whether or not they have been extensively trained.
Necromancy should be preceded by intensive cleansing and protective spells. Fasting probably wouldn’t hurt and may make the process more successful to boot. Wear or carry protective amulets and charms.

AITA for doing an intervention on my possibly mentally ill sister?
So my (26F) sister (18F) was chosen to be a human sacrifice by being tied up and taken by a god (and if the god didn't actually exist, presumably left to die out there. I love my sister a lot and I was horrified by this, but I eventually came back to where she was left to see if I could find her body, only to find her alive and apparently happy. Naturally, I was overjoyed, and wanted to know how she had survived; turns out she claimed to have been rescued by the gods, and that she was now living in a wondrous palace with her divine "husband". But she seemed to be hallucinating it all - there was no palace where she said there was a palace. As for her supposed divine lover, I imagine there must have been a real person because she hadn't starved out there, but according to her this "husband" only comes in the darkness and refuses to show his face? Which seems very sus. Yet my sister seemed completely oblivious to the danger and was going on about how happy and fulfilled she was and how she thought she had reached some kind of spiritual enlightenment.
I didn't know what to make of this and, not wanting to take rash action and try to get her out of this situation if she was really with a god that wanted the best for her, I consulted some people I trusted a lot as wise experts. One person I consulted said it was likely he was in fact a god, but a horrific one, because why would he hide his face if there wasn't some horrible secret about it? The other person said it was probably some human criminal who was taking advantage of her psychosis to creep on her. Well, I figured if either of those things were true I had to protect her. You see I had practically raised my sister, who was a lot younger than her, I knew she could be a bit naive and I didn't want something horrible to happen to her.
So I traveled to where she was again. I tried to use reason on her, but she refused to accept it, instead she seemed frighteningly certain that this was what she wanted. She has always listened to and looked up to me, I don't know what had gotten into her. So I did something I'm not proud of, but it was out of love and the only way I could think to get through to her. I threatened that if she didn't use a light to reveal this suspicious guy's face, I would kill her and myself. I even stabbed myself in the hand with a dagger to show I was certain.
It worked and she did it, while I was watching from a distance. But when she did, the god actually appeared and looked very displeased at me, and told me my sister would be exiled and live a miserable life because of what she'd done because of me and it was all my fault. Of course I felt horrible, but I don't see how this was my fault. If the gods are going to act so suspicious, hide their presence so that the reasonable assumption is that the person seeing them is hallucinating, and then make impossible demands that there is no reason anyone would make without something horrible to hide, I don't see how it's my fault if I react with suspicion. But I still have a lot of doubts, so I'm writing this to see what other people think about the situation.

Whispers coming from beyond the veil. Will you answer their calls?
Jupiter in the 8th house natives are accidental occultists. Jupiter blesses with immense knowledge of all things deep, dark, mysterious. Jupiter’s curiosity turns inward and the esoteric arts become their expertise. Understanding the unknown becomes a passion, and the native eagerly dives into the void fearlessly. The “chosen one” of the family. Ancestral gifts are bestowed onto the native, both physical and spiritual. Forms of psychic attack directed towards the native is ineffective, as they were born with astral armor alongside protective guides from the spirit realms. Communication from other worlds are loud, they are natural born psychic mediums. Tools of divination come alive in the hands of a master and watching their perfected craft is nothing short of enchanting. The 8th house is one of secrets. Natives rarely reveal their knowlege unless a conversation ensues. Behind their smiles lie the secrets of the universe.. Just be open enough to ask them the right questions.

Air diffusers can play a significant role in the practice of witchcraft, where scented air is believed to carry messages, reveal truths, and connect with the realm of spirits. These devices offer versatile means to create the desired atmosphere during rituals, ceremonies, and spellwork. Unlike incense, air diffusers can be more suitable for some practitioners due to various reasons, including health considerations and personal preferences. In this article, we will explore the multifaceted applications of air diffusers in witchcraft, covering their use in various magical purposes, such as banishing, cursing, and shadow magic. We will also delve into the magical significance of vapor as opposed to smoke or incense, shedding light on the unique qualities that make air diffusers a powerful tool in the practice of witchcraft.
Air diffusers are versatile tools in witchcraft, allowing practitioners to infuse spaces with various scents, each carrying its own magical significance. The aroma released by an air diffuser can serve as a medium for communication with the spirit world, as it is believed that spirits can be drawn to or repelled by specific scents. During rituals or ceremonies, practitioners may select scents that resonate with their intentions, whether they seek to invoke protective spirits, honor ancestors, or connect with particular deities.
One of the most common uses of air diffusers in witchcraft is for banishing negative energies and entities. By diffusing cleansing and purifying scents such as sage, frankincense, or rosemary, practitioners can create a barrier against unwanted energies, keeping their sacred space clear and protected. The diffused vapor becomes a potent tool for establishing boundaries and warding off malevolent forces, aligning with the magical intention to banish negativity.
In contrast to incense, air diffusers are favored by some witches for their smokeless and low-heat operation. This makes them suitable for individuals with respiratory issues or sensitivities to smoke. The choice of an air diffuser over incense can be seen as a practical consideration, ensuring that the practitioner can fully immerse themselves in the magical work without discomfort or health concerns. Furthermore, the controlled release of scents allows for a consistent and subtle presence of the chosen aroma, which can be essential for long rituals or meditation practices.
Cursing and hexing rituals also find use for air diffusers in witchcraft. Scents like black pepper, graveyard dirt-infused oils, or chili pepper lend an air of aggression and intensity to their workings. The vapor released by the diffuser can act as a conduit for the practitioner's intent, emphasizing the dark energy they wish to project. The aroma becomes an integral component of the curse, enhancing its potency.
Shadow magic, a branch of witchcraft that delves into the exploration of one's inner darkness and the mysteries of the subconscious mind, can greatly benefit from air diffusers. The subtle, vapor-based delivery of scents can contribute to the creation of an atmosphere that facilitates the practitioner's journey into the shadows of their psyche. Scents like myrrh, patchouli, or cedarwood can deepen the connection to the hidden aspects of the self, aiding in shadow work and inner transformation. Conversely, love spells and attraction magic can benefit from air diffusers as well. Aromatic oils like rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang can be diffused to create an atmosphere of love, sensuality, and attraction. The gentle diffusion of these fragrances can enhance the effectiveness of spells designed to draw love and affection into one's life.
Air diffusers also have a role in divination and communication with the spirit world. When used in conjunction with specific oils, they can facilitate a clearer connection between the practitioner and the spirit realm. Oils like mugwort, cedarwood, or myrrh are known to enhance spiritual communication when diffused.
Protection spells in witchcraft often rely on the four elements, and air diffusers can represent the element of air in these rituals. By diffusing oils like eucalyptus or juniper, practitioners can strengthen the protective barrier around them or their sacred space, making it more challenging for negative energies or entities to penetrate.
In meditation and trance work, air diffusers serve as a valuable aid in reaching altered states of consciousness. A carefully selected blend of essential oils, such as lavender, frankincense, and sandalwood, can induce a deep state of relaxation, enhancing the ability to journey within or connect with higher realms.
The concept of elemental magic is central to many pagan and witchcraft traditions, with each element having its own unique properties and correspondences. Air diffusers, when used in spellwork, can invoke the power of the element of air/and or ether to lend energy and intent to a particular work. The gentle diffusion of air-element oils can create a sacred and potent space for rituals and spells that require the influence of this element.
The practice of smudging, common in many indigenous and pagan traditions, can be enhanced with air diffusers. By diffusing the smoke of sacred herbs or resins like sage or palo santo, practitioners can cleanse and purify their surroundings without the need for direct combustion. This smoke cleansing can be a powerful tool in removing negativity and unwanted energies.
Air diffusers are also instrumental in creating a harmonious and balanced environment. By diffusing oils associated with equilibrium, such as lavender and chamomile, practitioners can promote a sense of peace and balance within their homes or sacred spaces, fostering a positive atmosphere for their magical work.
Protection against psychic attacks and negative energies is another common use of air diffusers in witchcraft. Oils with strong protective properties, such as black salt-infused oils or rosemary, can be diffused to create a shield of defense around an individual or their space, ensuring safety from harmful intentions or entities.
In the realm of prosperity and abundance spells, air diffusers can be used to amplify intentions of financial well-being. Essential oils like cinnamon, basil, and patchouli, when diffused, can attract wealth and prosperity into one's life.
Air diffusers are also a valuable tool for enhancing one's focus and concentration during magical rituals and spellwork. Oils like peppermint and rosemary can be diffused to stimulate mental clarity and enhance cognitive abilities, allowing practitioners to perform their magical work with precision.
Witches and practitioners of folk magic often turn to air diffusers when working with lunar energy. By selecting oils that correspond with the moon's phases, they can harness the moon's mystical power to enhance their magical intentions.
In the practice of kitchen witchery, air diffusers can be used to infuse the atmosphere with the energies of the herbs and spices used in culinary magic. This adds an extra layer of intention to the meals prepared, imbuing them with magical properties that promote health, abundance, and love.
For practitioners of herbal magic, air diffusers offer an effective means of working with the properties of various herbs. By diffusing essential oils extracted from specific herbs, they can tap into the magical and healing qualities of these plants.
Dreamwork and lucid dreaming are enhanced through the use of air diffusers. Lavender, mugwort, and marjoram oils, when diffused before sleep, can promote vivid dreams and facilitate dream recall, aiding in the exploration of the subconscious.
Air diffusers are also a valuable tool for aura cleansing and energy balancing. By diffusing oils that resonate with the chakras, practitioners can cleanse and balance their energy centers, promoting physical and emotional well-being.
In the art of sigil magic, air diffusers can be employed to charge and activate sigils by diffusing oils aligned with the sigil's intent. This creates a focused and charged environment for the manifestation of desires.
Psychic and intuitive abilities can be heightened through the use of air diffusers. Oils like mugwort and bay laurel, when diffused during meditation or divination, can open the third eye and enhance clairvoyant and clairaudient experiences.
Air diffusers are also valuable tools for harnessing the energies of the seasons and sabbats in witchcraft. By diffusing oils that correspond with the specific sabbat or season, practitioners can attune themselves to the natural cycles and celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year.
In the practice of candle magic, air diffusers can complement the spellwork by diffusing oils that correspond with the intention of the candle. This enhances the effectiveness of the magic by infusing the surroundings with the desired energy.
Psychic protection and boundary-setting are important aspects of spiritual practice, and air diffusers can be used to create a protective energy barrier. Oils like juniper or myrrh, when diffused, can establish a shield against unwanted influences and psychic attacks.
Air diffusers are a valuable addition to the practice of color magic. By choosing oils associated with a specific color, practitioners can infuse their magical work with the energy and symbolism of that color, enhancing the effectiveness of their spells.
Healing magic can benefit from the use of air diffusers by diffusing essential oils that promote physical and emotional well-being. Oils like eucalyptus, lavender, and chamomile can facilitate the healing process and promote recovery.
In the creation of enchanted spaces and altars, air diffusers can be used to infuse the area with the desired energy. By diffusing oils that correspond to the purpose of the space or altar, practitioners can create a sacred and powerful environment for their magical work.
Air diffusers can also be employed in weather magic and working with the energies of the wind. By diffusing oils associated with specific wind directions, practitioners can align their magic with the natural forces of the atmosphere.
In the realm of astral projection and out-of-body experiences, air diffusers can be used to create an atmosphere conducive to these practices. Oils like frankincense, myrrh, and cedarwood, when diffused, can help induce a trance-like state that facilitates astral travel.
Air diffusers are a valuable tool for grounding and centering in magical practice. Oils like patchouli, vetiver, and cedarwood, when diffused, can anchor an individual's energy and provide a sense of stability and balance.
In self-discovery, air diffusers can be used to create a supportive and introspective atmosphere. Oils like rosemary and lavender can promote self-reflection and inner exploration, aiding in the process of personal growth and healing.
Magical significance lies in the form of vapor released by air diffusers compared to traditional incense smoke. Vapor is often seen as a purer, more ethereal substance, connecting with the spirit realm on a subtler level. This can be particularly advantageous for practitioners who prefer a gentler approach to magic or seek to work with spirits in a more refined manner. The fine mist of vapor is believed to be a better medium for messages and revelations from the spirit world, as it represents a more direct and refined conduit for spiritual energies.
Air diffusers are powerful tools in the practice of witchcraft, offering a wide range of applications during rituals, ceremonies, and spell work. Their ability to release scented vapor makes them versatile instruments for invoking or banishing spirits, cleansing spaces, or delving into the realms of shadow magic. The choice of air diffusers over incense can be driven by health considerations and personal preferences, ensuring that practitioners can fully engage with their craft. The magical significance of vapor in witchcraft emphasizes its role as a subtle and potent medium for communication with the spirit world, making it an invaluable addition to the witch's toolkit. © Dʏsʜᴀɴᴋᴀ/Oᴅᴇᴛᴛᴇ ₂₀₂₃

💕Yandere Aphrodite💕 🌹 Yandere Aphrodite 🌹
[I saw somebody ask for Aphrodite, the thought of a yandere Aphrodite sounded interesting. so I said screw it! lets give it a shot.] 💌 Greetings, devotees of the divine realm! Allow me to regale you with the intoxicating tale of the goddess of love and beauty, the incomparable Aphrodite. In this enthralling narrative, the goddess, renowned for her unparalleled beauty, takes center stage in a story woven with passion, possessiveness, and the pursuit of undying devotion.
💖Aphrodite, the literal epitome of the popular girl everyone desires, revels in the attention bestowed upon her by mortals and gods alike. In this tale, her heart's desire is focused on one devoted follower—perhaps, a mortal caught in the web of her enchantment.
💝 The goddess thrives on the adoration and attention you shower upon her. Vanity is no secret to her, and the conflicts that arise from her insatiable need for attention bring her a twisted satisfaction. 🥅 Her goal is clear: to be the most beautiful and sought-after goddess, and she expects nothing less than your unwavering infatuation.
💛 As her chosen devotee, you hold a unique place in her divine heart. She demands constant reassurance that she is the most beautiful creation in your eyes, expecting you to worship her above all else. Your love, loyalty, and eternal devotion become the pillars on which her divine satisfaction rests.
💢 Aphrodite's jealousy, a force to be reckoned with, drives her to ensure that all eyes, especially yours, remain fixated on her divine allure. "What's hers is hers," she declares, and she will go to great lengths, even incite wars, to protect what belongs to her. The goddess strategically maneuvers divine alliances, using her connections to safeguard both your well-being and her cherished status.
💍 The narrative takes a dramatic turn as Aphrodite finds herself forced into marriage with Hephaestus. Yet, this does not deter her passion. She keeps you close, a loyal servant who occupies a more intimate role in her life. Sneaking into your bed chambers, sharing moments of laughter and intimacy, she reveals a softer side beneath her divine exterior.
💦 Bathing rituals become a shared experience, a blend of sensuality and genuine connection. Aphrodite, beyond her seductive persona, delights in these softer moments, showcasing a multifaceted aspect of her character. As her devoted servant, you attend to her every need, reciprocating the pampering she bestows upon you.
⚠️ Aphrodite, unapologetically possessive, places your relationship in the open, defying even the bonds of marriage. She cares not for the opinions of others, as long as they understand the boundaries: she alone has the right to touch, kiss, and bring pleasure to you. Her wrath awaits anyone foolish enough to challenge this divine decree.
The goddess, in her passion, occasionally resorts to punishment. Be it a touch of roughness or a sensual retribution, she expresses her desires with a fiery intensity, which are punishments and may involve a mix of physical and sexual intensity. From slapping you to overstimulating or denying your pleasure, she orchestrates scenarios that reinforce her dominance. Silk bindings become an elegant tool in her sensual games.
Yet, as your devotion deepens, the need for punishment wanes, for you have already learned your place—by her side, an existence entwined with hers.
Thus concludes the tale of Yandere Aphrodite, a goddess of love and beauty, whose divine influence intertwines with the mortal realm in a captivating dance of passion, possessiveness, and undying devotion.
May her allure forever captivate your hearts. 💖

I am normal and do not have divine intervention in form of vivid visions of the scenarios with my ocs.
I particularly did not have a VERY DETAILED vision of Levi and Karlach's massive freaking fight bordering on murder after the meeting at the Wyrm Rock keep.
I did not have to live through them saying the worst imaginable things to each other and Karlach almost attacking Levi, but him holding her down with the vines and saying how he should've killed her when his father demanded it and- wait, what?
Him remembering scraps of his past and how they knew each other eleven years ago and them having confrontation about that as well.
And Levi being fucking annoyed what the moment he finally decided to kill her Gortash shipped her away to Hells, and who does that??? He couldn't follow to Avernus and had to try to pacify his father with random tieflings' deaths, but it was not enough and Father was so angry, it was the first time Levi was punished so badly-
And Karlach being "wait, what? You were going to KILL me?"
And Levi snapping what of course he was going to kill her, killing is what he DOES, but of fucking course Gortash ruined his plans, he had to do that intentionally, that fucker-
And just flying away to confront Gortash about it and complain about his dumb ass companions who have the audacity to be horrified at the reveal what he's a Bhaalspawn and maybe (totally immediately) falling back into Gortash's embrace.
Him telling Gortash "I need to fix my mistake and kill her now" and Gortash actually talking him down from that bc "Hold on, she can be useful", which leads to Levi saying it doesn't matter, she'll die from burning out soon anyway and Gortash actually offering to fix that bc "she can be useful 2.0", the power of her rage and her engine should not be overlooked.
Which leads to even more weird situationship where Gortash fixes Karlach's engine and Levi mopes bc he's in that place of mind where he really wants her dead and he's jealous and territorial and it's the second time Gortash consequentially saves her life, what is she to him??? (He is not in the right state of mind at all. Imagine unhinged and turn it to 10)
How dare Gortash care about anyone but him, no one but the two of them matter!!!
Which leads to Levi realizing Father punished him for not killing Gortash when he ordered it (before Moonrise Towers), what Orin stabbing him was the result of that, and having several mental breakdowns all over the place and Gortash having to calm him down AGAIN, because it's the professional murderer and world-ender in a frenzy one step from committing mass murder RIGHT THERE.
The team realizing what the only thing keeping Levi in check is actually freaking Chosen of Bane, as Levi laments what he couldn't realize this plan alone, or maybe he could, but he would not. It was supposed to be him and Gortash as the last people alive, not Levi killing him so early and moving on with the plan all by himself.
Levi, knowing what if he does not defy his Father, the first thing Father will order would be to slay Bane's Chosen, and knowing what there's no way for him to survive defying Bhaal and what even death will not free him, he will just return to father and, who knows, maybe father will just pull him right back as he did with Sarevok.
Levi trying to convince Gortash he has to proceed with the plan alone because the moment Levi slays Orin, it will be his end.
Trying to talk Gortash into it, even going as far as trying to offer him the astral prism (after the careful inquiry if the prism will protect him and the team if it's away from them. Turns out it would if Emperor wills it).
Telling Gortash how to find the temple and get the netherstones from his body, warning him "these wannabe heroes would try to stop you, don't let them", telling Gortash he'll probably have to kill Elder Brain bc the crown changed it too much, asking him not to rely on Bane because "gods are not the answer".
Just being all over the place in a frantic, panicked state of his what's as dangerous as a lit up bomb, and then leaving.
Gortash, being Gortash, absolutely refusing to accept the fact what the only person he ever truly cared for, his only equal, is going to die like that and researching all the possible ways to change it/ stop it from happening.
The poor freaking team having a front seat to the worst and the most confusing freaking situationship.
Karlach trying to grasp how is it her practically best friend is her enemy now and it's GORTASH who plays middle ground and stops them from killing each other.
The entire freaking team just being Concerned As Fuck and trying to adjust their image of Levi who turned out to be someone completely different from who they thought him to be.
Just...the entity of act 3 being a mess and full of revelations and it's a miracle they all survive through it.
Levi and Karlach eventually make peace with each other bc neither of them truly meant all the shit they said/did at their fight, they were just hurt, betrayed, scared, angry and lashing out.
The entire team trying to search for a way for Levi not to die because he's an asshole and says a lot of awful things, but his actions say otherwise. He speaks of unleashing horrors and lashes out a lot, yet somehow always manages to make things better and save just another stray soul.
Having the entire "Alright, let's save Levi" council with Gortash in it because they find out he's searching for a way to save Levi too.
Wyll manages to bargain his father back because this is Wyll, come on. The price of it is stealing something for Gortash from Hells bc Gortash has no time to participate in heists anymore and he needs some particular thing like yesterday (the thing turns out to be orphic hammer. Huh)
Just...that. Everyone inevitably working towards a common goal of saving 1 (one) Cursed Child of Bhaal and Levi, meanwhile, having no idea they're doing that.

Hi again :D
Can you share with us a few of your favorite scenes so far from either of your fic? Stuff that really brings out the characterization of Dahlia and any of the others?
What are some things you've learned from writing these scenes, or writing in general? What is the next thing you'd like to work on improving in your writing?
and lastly -- I asked this of Para, too, and I'm interested! -- what advice would you give to your younger writing self now that you're where you are in your journey?
Hiiiiiiii friend! <3 Ooooh, let me go digging a bit here…
I think I will feed you a couple of snippets which exhibit a few different states of Dahlia’s being. (I am sure there are others or even some better ones somewhere, but this is what came to mind at the moment.)
1.) As she listens to the quiet crunching of snow under her feet, she thinks about all of the things she has done recently and all of the things she will need to accomplish. Where is she going, and what is her role in all of this? Is it truly Akatosh and the Divines who push her forward, and is this where she is meant to be and what she is meant to be doing? She often wonders about the invisible strings of fate and how it seems like they constantly drive her onward. This frequently leads her to contemplate how much of her own life choices are really hers, and how many were preordained or destined. Maybe it sounds lofty and self-important to think that the Divines have taken so much interest in her life and what she does, but she can’t help but wonder. And she is indeed Akatosh’s chosen.
As much as she has grown and enjoyed the adventure, she resents the heavy burden which seems to constantly sit like a weight on her shoulders and the feeling that her life isn’t her own. Sometimes she wishes she could reach out and talk to Akatosh like a father. Perhaps this is something she should have expressed to Paarthurnax when she was still at the top of the mountain. Dahlia sighs deeply. Having decided that she has caused herself enough of an existential crisis for the time being, she glances at her surroundings, taking it all in before she sucks in a deep breath and lets loose WULD NAH KEST.
2.) Well, that was certainly close.” Dahlia says in relief as she reveals herself from her hiding spot behind the bookshelf Ulfric is standing by.
Ulfric turns around quickly with surprise. She was here the whole time? How could he have missed her?
Dahlia puts a finger up to her lips to signal to the Jarl not to give up her location. As soon as Lydia’s footsteps are no longer echoing through the halls, she sighs and slumps against the shelf behind her, finally relaxing.
“Are you hiding from your housecarl?” Ulfric asks. “Maybe I should call her back.” He grins at her with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
“No, please no!” She waves her hands in front of her frantically, and Ulfric chuckles. “She wants to put me through all sorts of torture with hair and shoes which I find thoroughly unnecessary and rather tedious.” She pleads with him. “She is very bossy when she wants to be, and I have no intention of participating any further in her schemes. I’ve already indulged her enough.” She states as she creeps carefully to the library’s door and pokes her head outside.
3.) Waves of pain and anguish at what she has done begin flooding her system. She can still feel her hands tingling with the phantom sensation of lingering shock spells. She shakes them as if that will dispel the feeling and clean her conscience of what has transpired.
Nothing. She can still feel it. She will always be able to feel it; there is no escape.
Everywhere she looks, and especially inside herself, all she sees is darkness. What is this beast, this monster she has become?
She is nothing. She is cold. She is darkness.
In her need for protection, domination, and revenge, she had forgotten herself and who she is.
She was not Dahlia in this moment. She was Ysmir, Dragon of the North, and her only thought was how dare anyone think they could touch what is hers.
Dahlia roars with an inconsolable despair, words she never knew in the dragon tongue falling like water fluidly from her lips.
Alone.
She needs to be alone. Deserves to be alone. There is nothing good about her anymore. The darkness swallowed up all her light, and it is all she can see now.
Alone.
She needs to run. Needs to hide. Needs to disappear.
Alone.
Because no one should want to be with someone like her.
Dahlia looks down at her hands again and seeing the blood coating them, she lets out a sob. She is horrified. What has she done? And what would Ulfric think of her? Her mother? The Greybeards? Colette? The citizens of Skyrim? She is supposed to be a hero, and she is anything but.
What are some things you've learned from writing these scenes, or writing in general?
Oooof, well, I have definitely learned a lot through the whole experience of writing in general. Specifically, I think I learned to just let things flow and try to draw from the gut and trust my instincts. I was extremely cautious at first when I started writing (for many reasons.) And now it’s just nice to kind of let things find themselves and have fun in the process. I won’t say that I don’t still sometimes stress over the things I write, but I think what I write now is more natural now because of this—and I have more fun with it.
What is the next thing you'd like to work on improving in your writing?
Is everything too broad of an answer? I know a lot of us creatives suffer from the “we’re too hard on ourselves” syndrome, I am not immune. I know there are a lot of things I could go back and improve upon when I have time later. Right now, I think my focus is on making sure I am not using too many participle clauses (I love them, your honor) and trying to make sure I am showing and not telling too frequently. Yes, yes. I know that it’s the standard advice and complaint of many who give writing advice, but I try to follow it anyway. I think if I had to mention one more thing: trying not to get wrapped up in my own love of self-indulgent drama.
What advice would you give to your younger writing self now that you're where you are in your journey?
Relax, have fun, and don’t be afraid of what you’re creating. It’s all wonderful. The journey is an enjoyable one, and you’ll learn and improve on a lot of things on your way. Don’t stress about the mess and that everything isn’t “perfect”. It doesn’t need to be. (Actually, I should also take this advice for myself right now. It’s always needed tbh.)
And I think as much as you are aware now that I am a hybrid pantser/plotter, I might argue that perhaps I should do a little more of the plotting thing. (Just a smidge. I still do love discovery writing.)

Bruno Madrigal: Hogwarts AU
Tumblr media
Bruno Madrigal is a Pureblood wizard that was born on the 17th of October 1936 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1948, being sorted into Gryffindor house.
He has a Hawthorn wand with a Unicorn Hair Core.
His Patronus is a Rat.
His favorite subject is Divination and his least favorite is Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Due to the nature of his seer abilities, Bruno has been labeled as someone who "makes bad things happen" by both his former classmates and his family when he is merely the requested bearer of the news. Despite being feared by almost everyone in the neighborhood, Bruno is kind-hearted, caring, fairly comical, and possesses a strong love and loyalty towards his family. Although he is described as a monstrous and sadistic person, Bruno is actually a quiet, shy, and kind man who easily becomes nervous and suffers from anxiety, like his sister, Pepa. Bruno is introduced to his niece Mirabel as insecure and avoidant, and believes others' accusations that his abilities only brings problems. However, after he is fully reaccepted into his family, he becomes more cheerful and enthusiastic. Bruno is also shown to be gentle with animals in a way similar to his youngest nephew, Antonio. He befriended the rats living within the walls of the Madrigal mansion, sharing what little food he has with them and enjoying their company. When the mansion crumbles during an attack from dark wizards, he takes the rats with him before making his escape. Bruno also takes quickly to Antonio's animal friends, letting his capybara's join the vision and allowing the coatimundi, who he shooed away prior to his vision, to hang from his shoulder. He is also good at flying which was seen when he rode on a broom to find Mirabel and Alma after the mansion's destruction.
Not much is known about his personality before he left the family, but it is known that whenever he had a prophecy, he inadvertently hurt or angered the people around him, causing him to retreat from society and eventually from his family to avoid upsetting anyone. His abilities made him paranoid and fearful of his surroundings, and he developed a sand-based ritual to help focus and control his power. As a result of living for ten years in isolation within the walls of the Madrigal mansion, Bruno developed odd behaviors, such as knocking on wood, stumbling, muttering, and developing two alternate identities: "Hernando", who is "scared of nothing" and "Jorge", who makes spackle, to keep himself occupied in his isolation, along with befriending some rats to keep him company. Yet, despite claiming he is fine with his isolation from his family, Bruno actually misses them and longs to be with them, despite their negative perceptions of him. He also shares a complicated relationship with his mother, due to his abilities not living up to her expectations and she only saw the worst in him. As a result of his mother's difficult attitude, Bruno was intimidated by her and tried to avoid her, even though he wanted to make her proud.
He is very selfless man and his biggest acts of selflessness is catalyzed by his love for his family. Despite the way some treated him when he was around and didn't like to talk about him after he left, Bruno is not spiteful or vindictive and has a forgiving heart. When he was reunited with his mother, he never showed hate towards Alma nor did he reject her loving gestures in spite of his confusion, and listened intently as she began to apologize to him and the rest of the family for her mistakes. He sacrificed his reputation and went into self-exile for a decade to protect Mirabel from being ostracized and treated the same way he had been after seeing an uncertain vision connecting her to the 15 Chosen Ones. Bruno was also willing to take the blame for Mirabel after the destruction of the family home. Initially fearful of being seen by Alma, Bruno revealed himself and was prepared to confront his mother in order to defend his niece before Alma, having now realized she and her idealism were the causes of their family's problems, embraced him, which surprises him completely. Although his former classmates were initially afraid of him due to his gift, Bruno happily works with them in rebuilding the mansion showing that he now has a close bond with them.
Bruno's greatest wish is to be able to help his family. Although he was initially avoidant of his mother because he was initially afraid of her, he does not feel the same way towards his older sisters or brothers-in-law. The misunderstanding at Pepa's wedding arose from his attempt to help her relax and embrace her emotions with an ill-worded joke. When they meet again, he made his first apology to her and Félix for inadvertently ruining their wedding by stressing her out with his comment, and tells her how much he loves her and he wants her to be herself. With the exception of Camilo, who dramatizes Bruno as a demonic figure and was later confused by his return by being the only member of the family who never knew he's actually a good person, the younger generation does not have anything negative to say about him: Mirabel and Luisa still refer him as their uncle despite the taboo on his name and possessing little memory of him before he left, Dolores empathizes with his problems and chooses not to reveal his hiding in the house's walls despite the depressing vision he gave her when she was younger, Isabela is the only one to say something positive about him while everyone else speaks negatively of him, and Antonio, who has no memory of his uncle, is never afraid of him thanks to the rats and sees him as a friend.

Story concept:
Fantasy world, war-torn country, Big Bad Villain guy off doing evil thing in the distance to drive the plot. You know the deal.
The protagonist is a cleric, an avid cleric of Goddess A. A is a goddess devoted to heroism on the battlefield, to martyrdom and self-sacrifice, to those giving everything they have--even their very lives--to save those around them. Goddess A's most honored warriors have been known to fall for what looks to be the final time, their hearts going still... before rising up and continuing the fight, magically resurrected by the grace of her powers.
Perfect motivation for our hero to fight the good fight, naturally. As long as his sacrifice is true and his cause is just, his goddess will protect him. Or so he hopes, anyway. (He wouldn't be the first to find out otherwise the hard way...)
Then the plot moves on to the wasteland in the woods, and the hidden tribe of druids that live there, among and even within the trees. They worship Goddess B, a goddess devoted to natural life of all kinds, whether they be humanoid, animal, plant, or... well, "other", because some of these fantasy monsters don't fit nicely into that whole schema. They fervently believe that their lives are no more valuable to their goddess than that of the mosquito another might unthinkingly swat, that every living being has its place in the world and must respect it and stick to what niche they've found in their environment.
Bunch of nature-loving hippies, the lot of them, but good-hearted, at least. Maybe one of them even tags along for the rest of the journey.
Now we move to a new country, a... less developed country. Not bad, not "savages", but definitely living a simpler life, one our hero could barely even imagine. The people here... well, they've got a whole bunch of gods among themselves, they can't even decide on that bit. But one group worships Goddess C, a goddess of childbirth, believing that only through her whim is each child given the gift of life and allowed to enter the world. Her followers, well, they pride themselves on the number of children they have, because they see every one of their children as living proof of their devotion to their goddess, and multiple births are thought of as nothing less than a divine blessing, a miracle in the flesh.
Primitive, perhaps, but what else would you expect from that sort of place?
Then we finally meet the Big Bad. Our hero may have assumed up to this point that the villain only cares for himself, but the villain reveals that he's actually an avid follower of Goddess D, that the unnatural immortality that has allowed him to wreak havoc on the world for so long was granted by her blessing as a sign of his faith. She is a goddess for those who seek out eternal life at all costs, who don't turn up their noses at others suffering so that they can walk the earth just a brief moment longer.
Then the final battle comes, and both sides are fueled by belief in their goddess as much as in the mundane justness of their cause, believing that as long as they stay true to their goddess, they must prevail...
...at which point the truth is revealed:
Goddesses A, B, C, and D? The hero's goddess, the druid's goddess, the simple man's goddess, and the villain's goddess?
They're all the same goddess.
Just a goddess of life, initially, nothing more complicated than that, but stories do have a way of shifting with time and across cultures, and she has no choice but to shift with them...
And now two (or more) of her chosen ones are fighting to the death, and she's going to have to pick a side in the fight.

Do you have a canon run through for Dragon Age? If you do, what is it?
(oh wow my first ever ask :D!) Yes! Yes I do! My canon world state mostly has the "Good" choices (as much as there can be in Dragon Age). Dragon Age: Origins (Warden: Valerie 'Val' Tabris, rogue; assassin+duelist): —Circle saved; Mages supported; Irving alive —Brokered peace between elves and werewolves —Branka killed; Anvil destroyed; Bhelen rules —Connor alive (not possessed); Isolde alive; urn not poisoned —Helped Alistair find Goldana (hardened him); killed Marjolaine (didn't harden Leliana); killed Master Ignacio —Hardened!Alistair and Anora rule together; Loghain was executed —Killed the Architect; both Keep and Amaranthine protected; Oghren and Felsi reunited —Didn't go with Morrigan —Sophia killed; Avernus continues his research ethically; drank the Power of Blood —Companions alive, well, and quests done; romanced Leliana
Dragon Age II (Champion: Arin 'Rin' Hawke, mage; Force Mage) —Joined the mercenaries —Returned Saemus to the Viscount; convinced Templars to leave; sent Feynriel to the Dalish; defended Ketojan from the Qunari; Aveline made guard captain; Carver is a Templar —Aveline and Donnic married; didn't side with Petrice; Bartrand not killed; Varric not allowed to keep Red Lyrium Shard; Isabela returns with the tome; didn't give Isabela to the Arishok; killed the Arishok —Let Zevran go; rescued Nathaniel; reunited Charade and Gamlin; handed conspirators to Orsino; allowed Emile to go free; sided with the mages —Sided with Larius; found Malcolm's will —All companions recruited and friend-manced; Merrill didn't destroy the Eluvian; Merrill's clan is alive; friends with Tabris; didn't kiss Tabris (but did flirt a little :3); didn't approve Ander's actions; killed Anders; romanced Isabela is all three acts. (Before anyone says anything; I have nothing against Anders and I have more playthroughs with him alive than I do dead. I'm all for Ander blowing up the Chantry. Is just Hawke mercy killing Anders because he would've been the number one target for Templars, and to also free Anders from Justice. Role-playing.) Dragon Age: Inquisition (Inquisitor Rhosyn 'Rho' Lavellan rogue; Tempest) —Captured the various keeps; Fairbanks not revealed as a noble; closed the lake's rifts; helped refugees; investigated the dwarven ruins; gained the cultists' support; Imshael killed; rescued the troops from the Avvar inner sanctum reached (<- f*ck this quest in particular) —Inquisition forces were regularly deployed; Sutherland's company was successful; contacted Charade; Jecin and Celeste married for love —Mages allied; declared the Inquisition for order; denied being chosen by Andraste; Samson my rival; saved everyone in Haven (<- frigging mission making me reload a thousand times to save everybody) —Celene alive; Celene rules and reconciled with Briala; Florianne alive —Grey Wardens rebuilt; Stroud left behind in the fade —Respected the temple's traditions; allied with guardians; Rhosyn drank from the well —Leliana made Divine —Met Ameridian; earned legend-mark from Avvar; dragon slain; shared the truth about Ameridian —Saved mines; stopped earthquakes —Bull remained loyal; preserved the Inquisition as a peacekeeping force; attempt to redeem Solas —Everybody recruited and friends with everybody; Blackwall made into a Grey Warden; Solas freed his friend; Cassandra rebuilt the Seekers; Dorian reconciled with his father; saved the Charger and Bull is Tal-Vashoth; Cole more human; gave Vivienne the heart; forced Hammon to work for the Inquisition; Varric tracked down the red lyrium source; romanced Cassandra (<- unfortunately as a male! Inquisitor but it's still part my canon world state) And that's that!

more! MORE!! love you <3 answering companion tav asks
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How do they react to the PC either allowing Astarion to ascend or convincing him to spare the 7000 spawn?
PISHA: Ascended!Astarion is bad news bears for Pisha. They already bickered but now he's an uber asshole with a superiority complex who wants to turn you all into his compliant spawns. If you keep them together in your party long enough and allow Astarion to get away with one too many things, she will turn on him and you'll be forced to side with either her or Astarion. If you side with Astarion you have to kill Pisha, who claims it's her duty as a ranger to maintain the balance, and Astarion tips that dangerously. if you side with her, rather than fight Astarion, he comments that the two of you are weak, stupid, and will be begging to have him back soon enough: and then he'll permanently leave your party.
Convincing him to spare the spawn makes her comment that she worries about the ecological damage they may cause in the Underdark, but in the end she's happy they have a chance. At camp, before resting, an exclamation point will appear and talking to her reveals that she is happy Astarion is able to be free of his abuser, and hopes that she can do something similar in the future. If you know about her parents by then it may also trigger the dialogue where you can ask to help her.
ÍLLIOSA: Sparing the spawn nets approval with aer, and ae states that ae would have liked to help them in the Underdark, given the chance. If you are not romancing her or Astarion there is a special scene between the two following the first long rest where ae is comforting Astarion and telling him that he is safe now, but it will still take time to heal. If you're romancing one of them there's no special scene but ae comments that Astarion's growth and freedom could not have been achieved without you.
Ascending Astarion while ae is in your party leads to aer immediate leaving. Ae will say that his ascension makes him a dangerous undead and as a cleric of Lathander it is aer duty to kill him. If at this point you know ae is a chosen, ae will have access to extra divine powers and make the fight harder.
If ae is not in the party and you speak to aer at camp you have to either be truthful (which leads to the same outcome) or you have to make a series of increasingly difficult checks to deceive aer into thinking it was the only way to keep Astarion safe. However, much like Pisha, if Astarion is allowed one too many evil actions ae will turn on you and also try to kill Astarion. After killing aer Astarion makes a comment lamenting about how powerful of an ally ae could have been, had ae been smarter.
If romanced, how do they react to the Dark Urge trying to kill them in Act 2?
PISHA: She is mildly surprised, if you have told her about your urges before. She actually binds you to a tree and sits a few feet away with her bow ready and talks to you through the urge. Pisha apologizes for not taking it more seriously and promises to do everything to help you in the future.
ÍLLIOSA: Dark Urge has a special romance outcome with Ílliosa, but for now ae protects aerself and tries to save you using powers until you are able to overcome your urge. After this ae mentions that urge ae sensed from you seemed startlingly familiar. You can then try and pass two investigation checks on your own memory. If you pass the first one you realize this is not the first time you've felt Lathander's power. The second, harder check, if passed, lets you realize you have met Ílliosa before. telling aer such triggers aer to look worried and state ae does not remember ever meeting you, but ae trusts you.

Is your Tav a romanceable character?  Are there any specific requirements to romancing them?
Yes and yes. You can flirt with him throughout the story, and his first two cutscenes in Act 1 and 2 remain sfw, with some spicy dialogue and kissing but other than that there isn't much actual sex. You also are able to learn more about him through these scenes. However, specific dialogue with Raphael in Act 2 is actually what triggers his proper romance. Without Uty, Raphael will mention they are "good friends". If you leave and come back with Uty in your party, Raphael will appear again and there are a few series of dialogue choices and dc's that you can choose and passing the checks will reveal Uty made a deal with Raphael years ago in exchange for power and information to find his daughter.
He will politely decline further comments if you push him on this and it isn't until Act 3 when you reach Rivington that you meet a pale young tiefling woman where his romance can be furthered. After talking to this woman an exclamation mark will appear and talking to Uty, he reveals she looks startlingly familiar to his ex (if said secret ex is in your camp or party awkward dialogue ensues between you three). You then have a new quest in his journal: Save Moxie.
Saving Moxie after finding out about [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] allows you to follow through with his romance. If you kill her his romance is locked out as he leaves your party and/or tries to kill you depending on your dialogue choices and approval rating.
Does your Tav need to be flirted with to start the romance, or will they approach the PC themselves if approval is high enough?
Uty will not initiate romance as he wants to be a proper gentleman and has a whole bunch of baggage he's trying to sort through. Much like Halsin you can flirt with him but he won't be properly romanced until act 2. High enough approval makes some of his dialogue a bit more flirtatious and/or romantic but that's it.
Do they have a special romance scene at the tiefling/goblin party?
Uty can be found in act 1 but can't be a proper traveling companion until act 2. however, speaking to him and being nice to any tieflings you come across will net some approval with him. If you speak to him at the party with high dialogue the scene you get is actually before your decision to be with someone at night, and he tells you about how he admires your compassion and determination to help his people. It reminds him of himself when he was younger, and he regrets the choices he made to lead him down the path he is currently on.

Sleeping Dove Pt 2 (Legend of Zelda fanfic)
Summary: When the Spirit Maiden Zelda finally passes on, she finds herself in an unexpected situation. The true nature and cruelty of Demise’s curse is revealed, and reality crashes down. Angst, two part story.
Part 1 here
XXX
Hylia had learned over the immeasurable time to let go of things. She let go of the pain of watching Hyrule burn in the Fallen Timeline. She let go of the anguish of never seeing her husband’s smile again, never hearing his voice. She let go of the pain of watching Hyrule flood when things got so bad that the Golden Goddesses had to intervene. There was still hope, particularly for the third timeline. The Hero of Time had found peace there, after his descendent had helped him. Hylia could find peace with that too.
Hylia found she could find peace with many little things. She enjoyed watching her family flourish and grow wherever they could. She marveled at Hyrule’s sheer magnitude. She enjoyed every moment that she could hold her husband, and she never let him go whenever he was with her. She talked to him often, telling him about what he was missing while he was asleep, telling him how proud she was of him for everything he’d accomplished.
And then one day, Demise tried to rip her happiness away.
Her latest daughter had an unbearable heaviness to her. A prophet had spoken of the return of Malice, and the girl had been trying and failing to unlock her powers gifted by her bloodline. Try as she might, Hylia couldn’t reach the girl, some kind of internal block in the child preventing it. Her Hero, however, had a strong devotion to his princess and the goddess, and Hylia swore he could sometimes hear her when he prayed to her. She loved him dearly, and sometimes she wondered that if this new Hero could hear her, then maybe, just maybe her precious sleepyhead could hear her too.
And then Calamity Ganon had come and taken it all away from her. Hyrule was gone. Link was dead.
 Demise had won.
Hylia willed all her power into saving the boy, called out to her husband and saw how he fought to stay alive. Her Link was so resilient, and he held on with fierceness, clinging to the Hero as his daughter-by-millennia cried over his body.
And then… Fi. Fi responded to him.
The current Zelda paused in her mourning, seeing Fi glow. She seemed to understand what it meant, and Hylia released the breath she didn’t know she’d been holding. Tears of grief turned to tears of joy, and she laughed with relief as Zelda ordered Sheikah troops to take the Hero to a shrine that would heal him. Her Chosen Hero just had to fight long enough to get the boy there.
Oh, Link, she thought. You really do have an unbreakable spirit. He was unstoppable when he put his mind to it. He’d protected the Hero of Time in trial after trial. He’d protected the Hero of Light in the Twilight Realm, turning him to a wolf instead of letting him die. He’d somehow transcended time entirely and protected the other heroes in their own timelines. And now here he was, protecting this new Hero (she wondered what his title would end up being when it was all over) by clinging to a single thread of life long enough to get him to a healing chamber. My little dove. I’m so sorry you have to endure this alone. I hope you can hear me. I hope… I hope you know that I’m still here, that I am trying to help you, that I love you.
She watched as the Sheikah placed the Hero into the chamber. She watched as Princess Zelda faced her fate at the castle. She felt her heart clench. She reached out her divine powers to protect her daughter, to give her strength, to keep her healthy and rejuvenate her each night as much as possible.
 “Zelda?”
 Wait. What?
Hylia felt her heart stop – that wasn’t someone talking to her descendant, that was someone talking to her. Ripping her gaze away from her descendant, she turned to see Link standing there in front of her.
 He was awake.
Link gazed at her in confusion, a faint light of hope glistening in his eyes as if he had an inkling it was her but couldn’t be sure.
She couldn’t say a word. It had been so long. She’d been Hylia and nothing more for so long, a fragment of a goddess that many prayed to, a revered ancestor, a distant memory…
 “I’m still my father’s daughter… I’m still your Zelda.”
She let out a sob. “Link.”
His eyes widened and he ran to her. She fell into his arms just as she had all those years ago.
He was here. He was here.
She knew it was temporary. Knew it was because the Hero was in a state of limbo, barely alive but not yet gone. The shrine was healing him now, the Spirit of the Hero didn’t have to fight for the time being. And so, just this once, they were granted this moment.
Zelda could barely speak through her tears, her entire body weak and trembling in his arms. After a few moments, she finally got the strength to say,
 “Good morning, Link.”
