“Weh! Weh!
Süssestes Weib!
Du traurigste aller Getreuen!
Gegen dich wütet
in Waffen die Welt:
und ich, dem du einzig vertraut,
für den du ihr einzig getrotzt,
mit meinem Schutz
nicht soll ich dich schirmen,
die Kühne verraten im Kampf?
Ha, Schande ihm,
der das Schwert mir schuf,
beschied er mir Schimpf für Sieg!
Muss ich denn fallen,
nicht fahr' ich nach Walhall:
Hella halte mich fest!”
- Richard Wagner, Die Walküre
Arturo Toscanini conducts Richard Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries', 1948.
Diego Brando! As seen in @swallowed-teeth 70s AU fic, Ride of the Valkyrie!
Left is probably how he welcomed that reporter into his apartment and on the right, he just saw the Reader looking at him the wrong way and is thinking about the best way to make their life as miserable as possible.
Am I biased towards Diego? Maybe a little bit. Okay, maybe a lot! He has become somewhat of a comfort character for me and I think I really captured his brattiness in these drawings. Especially the pose on the left, it is very DIO-esque, don't you think?
More period accurate outfits for Johnny and Gyro tomorrow!
A modern horror film about the potential and fear of the space age styled like a 1950s B-horror movie, in which we discover the Perseids are actually a form of alien invasion. It turns out a small race of aliens living just outside the solar system associate earth with their version of Valhalla, and the Perseids are the annual sending of their greatest warriors into the afterlife. Scientists all over the world freak out, as they had no idea we were so close to aliens and never realized it.
Skulduggery likes the scary rides and hates the boring/slower rides. as in he wont go in the roller coasters that have 8 year olds on it but will go on the 50 metre drop (like i did)
Ghastly is attempting to keep an eye on everyone. Mostly Skulduggery.
Valkyrie loves it. She and Militsa are together alot
Fletcher is left to his own devices.
On the rides and stuff
Mirror maze
- Fletcher gets lost.
- Valkyrie keeps trying to explore
- Skulduggery goes in through the exit.
That tunnel thing where the walls spin and you have to try and walk through (its apparently called the Spinning Tunnel)
- Tanith walks through as if its not moving, She's a wallwalker.
- Fletcher eventually gives up and teleports.
- Skulduggery walks through fine. "I never fall" (no, he fell like 5 times before but shut up)
The Drop
- Skulduggery loves it, and is shockingly calm
- Fletcher and Valkyrie scream
- Militsa barely agrees to go
- Ghastly waits at the bottom.
Body rock
- Fletcher holds on, he doesn't like it.
- Militsa also holds on.
- Valkyrie puts her hands in the air
Roller coaster
- Skulduggery wears his hat. somehow it doesn't fall of (magic hat)
- Fletcher teleports off
-Valkyrie and tanith sit at the front
i made the mistake of not closing my windows last night and i got raided by like three mosquitos who absolutely demolished me with one of them going as far as stinging me on the chin but I will get vengeance somehow someday
