I am beyond excited for this commission by @starsandskies--Literally don't even have the brain capacity to to do more that yell LOOK AT MY GORGEOUS BBS TOGETHER THEY LOOK SO GORGEOUS AND SEXY AND TENDER AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 💙💙💙💙💙
So I think I'm gonna have to leave it at that. 😅 And thank you again, Lúa, for such a beautiful, sensual piece. You captured them perfectly in every sense. (And special shout-out to her work on Goro's cyberware, because holy shit! Absolutely incredible. 💙)
V. Important Question: could Optimus Prime (we'll say from the first Micheal Bay film) beat the combined Megazord from Power Rangers (Mighty Morphing, the OG big robot) in a fight?
I friggin' love these two sequences in the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie. Really cool angles for the animation. Every now and then when I daydream, these scenes' imagery often come up in brain. Optimus Prime is so friggin' cool.
The Transformer 1986 movie is a film I have a lot of nostalgia for even if I don't think the movie is the best. It's basically feels like climactic season finale of Generaton 1 season 2 that wasn't in the show itself. I really love the first 20 minutes of the movie with the seasons 1-2 characters.
The newer characters were cool too though. I liked Hot Rod in the movie but I wasn't a fan of how he was written in season 3 after this film. Kup as the old veteran fighter is also really cool so I liked him.
Didn't really care for Ultra Magnus, Springer, Arcee (in this series), or Daniel though. And Galvatron was super cool when he was voiced by Leonard Nimoy. I didn't like the voice they had Frank Welker do for him in season 3. Also, the character wasn't totally insane yet.
And lastly, Optimus Prime's final fight is awesome. Stan Bush's "The Touch" is iconic if a tad bit cheesy but I love the song and its usage in the film regardless. Power music that really makes you feel like you're winning and can do anything.
