To get my one complaint out of the way:
The Young Avengers were not formed because "Hey there are multiple superheroes under the age of thirty"
They were formed because the Avengers were literally destroyed, and New York needed heroes
It was not this after school club
It was "there's so much villainy going on in this city, and Kang the fucking Conqueror is coming in three days. we are the only people with some link to the Avengers therefore we must stop this"
Eli became Patriot to honour his grandfather and fight crime
Teddy became Hulkling to protect people and figure out his identity
Billy became Asgardian/Wiccan to stand up for the little guy and to honour the Scarlet Witch
Kate became Hawkeye to beat up bad people and save the people with powers
Cassie became Stature to honour her father and carry on his legacy
Nathaniel became Iron Lad as an attempt to stop his evil future from coming to pass
Vision became a Young Avengers to honour Nathaniel and the original Vision
Tommy became Speed to right his wrongs
It was never "you're under thirty, I'm under thirty, wanna team up?"

We don't talk enough about how well ALL of the Vees know and care about each other so much, like--
We first see them when Velvette is calling Vox about Val being upset in ep 2, but there's no way he would have asked for the help himself. Like he's not gonna be like "hey get Vox for me I need him" because that seems too vulnerable, BUT he was expecting Vox to come.
He literally says "Fuckin' finally!"
Which would either mean that Velvette told him Vox is on his way, OR Val knew Velvette would tell Vox to come. (It is possible he expected it because of the cameras, but Vox didn't seem to know Val was throwing a tantrum until Velvette called him, and Vox's plan for the day seemed to involve multiple meetings, so I don't think he watches the cameras often enough for that.)
Also Velvette knew how to calm Valentino down. She was busy with a fashion show and needed to focus on that, and she was mad that Val was wrecking her shit, but even after he was out of her hair and not a problem to her, she repeated to Vox that he needs to go take care of Val.
"Take care of the piss baby!"
I 100% believe she could have done it herself (she probably did partly?? considering he stopped the tantrum and was in his room before Vox got there-- unless her telling Val that Vox was on his way was what did it, but that would still be something she knew to do), but she had a show to run. Still, she wasn't going to leave Val alone to be moping around.
Also the fact Valentino seems to have some level of control over his smoke implies he wanted to be dramatic as fuck or wanted to hide himself and sat in a cloud of smoke on purpose.
Vox obviously knows how to talk Val out of shit, and canon makes it more clear that he understands Val well.
But overall there's obvious intimacy between all three of the Vees in that they care for each other and know exactly what's needed and/or what will happen in situations like that.

The only timkon dynamic I will accept is Conner looking at Tim who is bossy, deeply damaged and unhinged and who only gives a vague half-fuck over little things like legality and what people tell him and being like “babe you are the messiest dude I have ever met but, god knows why, I trust you with my life and my heart because whatever is wrong with you is incredibly sexy.”
Meanwhile Tim is looking at Conner who is wearing bedazzled jorts, a crop top and fringe jacket that says baby slut on the back who is arguing that as a clone who’s barely 5, he should qualify for the under 10 discount at Denny’s because he needs to feel some emotion at 2:47 in the morning and thinking “this is literally the most embarrassing and ridiculous human shaped person I have ever met but he has seen me go off the rails so many times he just buckles in and rides it out and also we have established abandoned anxious child to abandoned anxious child communication and it would take too long to break another boyfriend in so I guess I need to marry him and shit”
And I will literally not take anything else, thank you and goodnight.

So I've reached Day of the Black Sun and I feel like I need to ask...Why exactly is Sokka x Zuko the most popular ship? I'm halfway through Book 3 and they have never interacted even once, like? I'm literally losing my mind knowing how many of you ship this when there is NOTHING there, I know tumblr can make a slash ship out of nothing but a few crumbs but this is a whole new level of collective hallucination.

I see a few people complaining about the fact that in the AMC show, Louis is an active participant in Lestat’s demise, rather than a passive witness like in the original source material. But he actually puts Lestat in his coffin?? That’s the One Request Lestat gives (in the movie and book) that Claudia and Louis just ignore (which is doubly confirmed by Lestat’s POV in the books). A request, really a dying wish, Lestat gives in the vain hope it will help restore him, a goal neither Claudia nor Louis are eager to help him with. In fact, in the movie, Claudia mockingly says “I’ll put you in your coffin!” before proceeding to slit Lestat’s throat with a knife. And afterwards, though he’s visibly conflicted, Louis helps Claudia dispose of Lestat’s body in the way she wishes -- whereas in the show, Louis is immediately so distraught, he cannot allow Lestat’s body to be maimed any further by either himself or Claudia.
As Daniel in the show points out, whether it was a consciously or subconsciously driven decision, Louis putting Lestat’s body in a coffin with the locks inside in a dump full of rats saves/would have theoretically saved Lestat (an action which tracks with how many Louis’ interactions with Lestat in the show Are instinctual, irrational, and seemingly counter to his best self interests). Louis saves Lestat from what would have been his certain end, otherwise. Also, Louis’ active role in Lestat’s (almost) death gives Louis infinitely more agency, and his guilt over it as a result will be So Much more juicy and personal.
