On the 18th of November, fifteen years ago, Tomb Raider: Underworld was released in North America for Windows, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS.
Underworld follows archaeologist-adventurer Lara Croft as she searches for Mjolnir, an artefact key to entering the realm of Helheim, while confronting adversaries from her past. Gameplay features Lara navigating levels set across the world through platforming, fighting enemies and solving puzzles to progress.
Tumblr media
Production of Underworld began in 2006 following the release of Tomb Raider: Legend, and was developed in parallel with Anniversary. The gameplay was redesigned around a principle of Lara's abilities, with her actions created using motion capture for the first time. A new game engine was created for the project, with the team having troubles transitioning onto next-generation hardware and staff shortages due to production of Anniversary.
Announced in January 2008 for next-generation hardware, it was delayed into November and also announced for then-current generation hardware. The game' received mostly positive reviews from critics, with praise for the environments, story, puzzles, exploration, graphics and the less linear style of gameplay, although criticism was directed at its camera and combat system. It sold below expectations, though ultimately went on to sell over three million copies worldwide.

Did Gotham Knights Gain 4 Player Co-op?
Did Gotham Knights Gain 4 Player Co-op?
Gotham Knights first made a splash at DC Fandome 2020, taking the Batman Arkham formula, making it even more open-world, removing Batman, and then adding his favorite sidekicks with the ability to play co-op with another bat-buddy. Unfortunately it has been hit with a couple of bat-delays, like many games have the past two years thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rumors hit last week that the game…

I don’t understand why studios (all of them not just wb) push their actors to act like best friends or like they are in a relationship when they are promoting. I find it dumb, I don’t need to see the actors doing all that to watch a movie I want to watch. It feels like it’s done for kids. But it works for some people somehow. Just be normal and answer the questions while being friendly coworkers like you actually are. It is painful to watch.
it gains clicks and makes people share it on social media. it’s a lot more entertaining to watch people that have good chemistry together and have banter then it is to watch people sit answering questions and barely interacting with each other.
no one’s forcing you to watch press tours where they do it, but just look at the media attention the Anyone But You promo got or Halle and Jonah during TLM press. it works 🤷🏼‍♀️

The 10 companies facing a possible strike are: Activision Productions Inc., Blindlight LLC, Disney Character Voices Inc., Electronic Arts Productions Inc., Epic Games, Inc., Formosa Interactive LLC, Insomniac Games Inc., Take 2 Productions Inc., VoiceWorks Productions Inc., and WB Games Inc. “Work under the video game contract “includes a great deal of ‘performance capture,’ where trained professionals, many of whom are stunt performers, provide digitally captured performances used to give expressive movement to video game characters,” the guild said. “Unregulated use of AI poses an enormous threat to these artists’ professions.” The union is fighting for protective language in the contract that will require informed consent and appropriate payment for the creation and use of digital replicas and for training AI systems with our members’ performances.”
Unavoidable when I'm sure studios would love to pay minimal reuse fees via AI. VO's not gonna be a viable job in about a minute.
Spent last night with a crew of AI devs. The c-suite went on about how soon all film and TV scripts will be written by AI to appease the bottom line. He asked if I've seen Barbenheimer, I said no, "I just signed up for Criterion Channel and stopped watching all new streaming shows and movies."
He got stuck and didn't have a response for somebody making it a point to consume legacy human entertainment, presented in curated collections managed by humans.
The immediate future is bleak in a way I don't think anybody is really prepared for.

Will really will go to any lengths to keep Jensen's hands and image clean huh? You can put makeup on a pig all you want... doesn't make it a supermodel, it's still a pig. The fact that he really doesn't even answer the question, just talks around it and then ends with "well, it doesn't really matter who ended it" but yea, it kinda really does...
I mean, I agree with him on the fact that we'll never know all the details, but that's about the end of it. I don't know why Will (and AA's) think that WBD would just "let him go"?? Do they think large networks and corporations do things in the best interest of the "little guy"? Do they think they just willingly let people out of contracts if those contracts are beneficial to them? No. If CMP and Jensen were making them money then you bet that they would still be stuck in that contract until Oct 2024. And if Jensen broke the contract he would be paying them a bunch of money. I guess they could argue his clear desperation for income over the past few months/years is an indication but I feel like no matter how many $1,000 FBBC "memberships" they sell, it still wouldn't come close. CMP and Jensen failed at WBD, simple as that.
I know AA's (and apparently Will) refuse to admit that Jensen is anything less than perfect but there really is no way to dress this up to make him or CMP look good. If he was fired (most logical and likely) then that's not a great look for Jensen. If they "let him out of his contract" that might sound better, but it still doesn't look good for CMP or Jensen because the only reason they would do that is if it was beneficial to them - aka CMP was losing them money and it was cheaper to let them go.
"plus he wanted a deal that would get him into projects he would be passionate about. He also wanted to do projects that would put him on camera and WBD failed to help him in that process." - I mean, the one project he claims to want is Batman and that's at WBD... where he just left. But I do love the addition of "he just wants to be on camera" which is the more accurate statement of the two. I haven't seen Jensen be "passionate" about a project in a while.. I guess TB but he didn't seem to put much into the role so I think he was more passionate about the publicity and exposure he was getting from it because he thought it was push him up a tier.
Link. Will makes Jensen sound like one of those employees who deliberately are bad at their jobs so that they get fired and collect unemployment benefits. Except he left out the part #SaveTheWinchesters campaigns, one of them during Walker, by Jensen as well as giving interviews.
Studios are getting rid of unproductive overall deals left and right, more so during the Writer Strike. Will seriously thought WBD/Zaslav wouldn't get rid of CPM who only produced one stinker?
It's not just that producing is not Jensen's passion, he's not good at it! Plenty of people are passionate about their hobbies but suck at the execution and output.
Jensen prefers acting to EP-ing? Gasp, you don't say! That's 99% of the actors. The main reason why actors have production companies in the first place is so they can continue to act by creating projects to star in.
Then Will says Amazon is a "step up". No not really in terms of brand and calibre. After Zaslav leaves, WB will still be the WB and Amazon will still be struggling to figure out its brand.
"[Jensen] found a better opportunity." We shall see if Kripke will handhold or let him coattail.
While my opinions on Solider Boy is well know, I wonder how his Big Sky role went. Was it good? Did he captivate the audience with his interactions? Was it a version of Dean Winchester that was just as compelling?
You're right that Will sidesteps the question, though I'm guilty of that as well lol, I just hope I'm entertaining at least, and my goal wasn't to make anybody look good or even bad per se.
Sure the WBD is currently a car crash that you can't look away, but every legacy studio and streaming services are going through the same bubble burst.

Agree with you on the impact of a press tour. I think most stans forget that most people just watch one or 2 interviews of actors promoting their projects and maybe see a post of a premiere if it looks cool with the costumes and general design. Few people have the time to follow a press tour and that's why so many interviews are repetitive because they get the same basic questions over and over again. So the success of a project has to do with that initial perception plus word of mouth because if your friends that have similar tastes to you tell you that a movie sucks, you are likely to believe them and not waste your money going to a theater to watch it, regardless of who's acting in it. But if your friends tell you "it's ok, not the best thing ever, but I had a good time" and it stars someone that you really like, you're more likely to watch it than if it starred unknown actors. So the actors still have an influence, regardless if people want to call them movie stars or not
Tumblr media
And don't get me wrong! Press tours, premieres, etc, they all build up HYPE for the film...especially in the cities where they're held, and in the areas where some fans are able to see advance screenings and/or meet their faves in person on the red carpet. 🥰
This ALL helps to build excitement and word of mouth for the film, so that it can perform as well as possible at the box office! 😊
Why do you think WB fought tooth and nail to have the Dune cast be able to promote this film? 😅 They even pushed back the release dates several months so that the strikes would be over by the time the cast needed to promote this film.
WB spent a TON of money on this film, and they want their payback rofl 🤣
So yea, the cast and the press tour was definitely instrumental in helping this film sell well (Are you kidding me? WB wasn't going to waste that chance with these 4 hot stars).
My point though is that MOST avg movie-goers are not following a press tour so intently like we are, so they aren't seeing every single interview, every interaction, or everything being said on the red carpet lol. 😅
Most ppl over 30 have full time jobs, rent or bills to pay, and just don't have time for this intense scrutiny lol. The ET networks just take bits and pieces and other highlights and sound bites from the press tours and red carpet looks and put it all together in a neat little bow... and ppl may see it on Entertainment Tonight and whatnot, but they're just not following stuff as closely as we do.
They see a cool trailer and an awesome cast, and they're SAT. And if friends have good word of mouth about it too, then they're definitely going. 😊👍🏾

Day 31: Nyctophobia
10/31: Nyctophobia
Universe // Characters: Modern!Mariposa // Horacio Carrillo
And here we are folks, the final fic for the October Fic Fest! It’s only 21 days late but I completed the list! It was so much fun to do and I greatly appreciate each and every one of you all that went on this journey with me!
2020, the year COVID shut down the world.
Part of the world at least.
The online world never shut down, never had to close its doors or mask up. Schools and Universities turned to online platforms to continue education. Young people turned to gaming, using programs like Twitch and Discord to continue socializing. Corporations went online too, Zoom meetings taking over the board room gatherings.
It’s also where the cartels went to continue their business.
Cops were still a necessity and there were a few days he had to patrol the mostly empty streets of Medellín, but for the most part he was quarantined in his one bedroom apartment with the rest of the world. He discovers something about himself one week into the shut down: Horacio Carrillo and isolation do not go well together. The narcos were still running their business so why was his job stalled?
He couldn’t sleep one night, actually many nights, so he decided to go online and try out one of the games that the narcos were known to use for their meetups. He created an avatar, a curvaceous woman, because then at least he’d have something entertaining to watch, and he set out to explore the online world as flor_fatal. It is a generic post-apocalyptic landscape and the purpose of the game is to collect supplies and allies to survive for as long as you could. He creates a Discord account with the same handle as his avatar, and starts interacting with people.
It takes almost a week of playing the game before people start talking to him. He keeps track of their usernames in a notebook and jots down the information he gleans from them in Discord. The ones that are not from Colombia, he crosses off from the list. The ones that use local idioms and specialized words, he stars. There’s a group of about five characters that consistently pop up that he believes are locals.
Ranchero84, a gunslinging cowboy avatar who apparently knows the location of all the brothels in the game and keeps a “kiss list” in his profile. He doesn’t say much in the chat which makes him suspicious in Horacio’s book. Then there’s DuckHunter007 which Horacio can’t figure out if it was a typo and the game wouldn’t let the person use “fuck” and turned it to “duck” instead or if the ridiculous name was made on purpose. But this person, another busty woman avatar, is much more talkative in the chat. Then there’s Quica420 and The_One_and_Only_Blackie, two avatars fashioned after military type characters, that are frequently found online at the same time. It was actually Ranchero84 that got Horacio into the group DM with Quica and Blackie. Those two in particular frequently chatted with each other, shared inside jokes, and they had a couple stars next to their names.
Then a new character shows up one night. The avatar is another female but is actually mostly covered. Her character is dressed in ripped jeans, a crop top, and a leather jacket with a bright purple and blue butterfly design on the back of it. She joins the group and no one acts surprised at her appearance so Horacio heads into Discord where the name Mariposa appears.
Ranchero84: Hola, Mariposa! Been awhile.
Mariposa: BS with the Ps. U get it.
Quica420: Truth. WB
Mariposa: Is the new kid gonna introduce themselves?
It takes Horacio a minute to realize he’s the “new kid.”
Flor_fatal: Sup
Mariposa: Nice
The chat dies down as they manuver through the bombed out town collecting supplies and weapons. Horacio keeps an eye on the chat but Mariposa doesn’t say much of anything else for the duration of the night. His eyes are stinging and he looks at the clock, seeing it’s 4:18 in the morning.
Flor_fatal: FAAK (falling asleep at keyboard)
Mariposa: Same. GGA (Good game all)
Horacio signs off and as he’s on his way to bed, his phone chimes. It’s a DM from Mariposa.
Mariposa: Nice 2 meet u. You play well.
Flor_fatal: Thx. U2.
And that’s the end of the conversation apparently. He goes to bed for a few hours, getting up just thirty minutes before his shift starts. He actually gets to walk the streets today. But after the sun goes down, the streets are deader than dead. With the quarantine comes a curfew. Not that it’s strictly enforced, especially since he’s out here supposedly enforcing it, but it keeps most people locked behind their doors. He walks until it’s almost midnight before heading back to his Jeep. With nothing better to do, he pulls out his phone and opens the Discord app to see he has a message waiting for him.
Mariposa: U playing 2nite?
Flor_fatal: Not 2nite. Gotta get some stuff done.
Mariposa: For the best. The guys are being idiots.
Flor_fatal: Not missing much then?
Mariposa: Nope.
There’s a pause in the messages. Mariposa is typing and stopping and typing and stopping. Horacio just waits it out and finally a message is sent.
Mariposa: Where do u live?
Flor_fatal: Where do u think I live?
Mariposa: Colombia.
Flor_fatal: K
Mariposa: Cali?
Flor_fatal: No, Medellín.
Mariposa: Me 2!
Horacio sits back and smiles. Maybe tonight won’t be a bust.
Flor_fatal: Since we’re both bored…
Mariposa: Yeah?
Flor_fatal: U wanna meet? F2F?
Mariposa: Sure! Where?
Flor_fatal: Boston Park? By Córdova?
Mariposa: C U in 20.
As he drives over to the park, he runs over the conversation again. Not once did you ask if he was a cop so you weren’t suspicious of this meet up. Which meant you were young, possibly very young, sneaking out of the house. The more he thought about it, the more he realized you were probably not a narco and were literally just a bored teenager looking to break some rules. Well, at least he can return a wayward kid back home. He parks and locks the car before walking down the semi-light path that leads to the statue of General Córdova. He’s only there a handful of minutes before he hears a pebble drop from slightly above his right shoulder. He draws his gun and turns only to find someone standing on the back of the sculpted lion, pointing a gun at him.
“Drop your weapon!”
“You drop your weapon!”
You’re a woman and you’re significantly more confident than you should be. You also sound American but you’re backlit by a streetlight and he can’t make out any physical features.
“I’m Major Horacio Carrillo with the CNP and I order you to drop your weapon now!”
“CNP?”
“Colombian Nation-”
“I know what it stands for.” Your gun lowers slightly. “I just didn’t think…”
As an act of good faith, he lowers his weapon slightly as well. “Didn’t think what?”
You sigh and holster your weapon, crouching down to sit on the lion now. He can see your features better now that you’re closer. You’re plain, nondescript looking, easy to blend in with the crowds in Medellín, but there’s a simple grace in your simplicity.
“Well, fuck.”
Maybe grace was too soft a word for you. “What?”
Your dark eyes move from studying his face to the surrounding darkness. “We were told the CNP weren’t doing anything about the narcos here.”
“Who’s we?”
“DEA and CIA.”
“Gringos.”
“Hey, hey, at least we’re trying to do something before Escobar the Second shows up.”
“Oh right, like we don’t know what we’re doing here. Just a bunch of dumb cops-”
You raise your hands. “Alright, alright. Before we wake up the neighborhood with our fighting, why don’t we continue this argument somewhere a little less suspicious?”
He still doesn’t know who exactly you are and if you really were CIA. But you did know something that wasn’t common knowledge. The CNP wasn’t doing much of anything to stop the increasing rise of narco activity. “I need to see some ID.”
You nod and pull out your CIA badge. “I showed you mine.”
He shows you his CNP badge.
“Good enough.”
You start to shimmy your way down the statue but he holsters his weapon and extends his hands in your direction which causes you to pause. “I’m being polite. It doesn’t happen that often.”
A quick smile crosses your lips before you take his hands and let him help guide you down from the statue. When your feet land flat on the pavement, one of his hands is curled around your ribcage while the other is wrapped around your hand. He’s struck with the realization of just how small you are, or at least how fragile you feel beneath his palms.
“Mariposa, I presume?”
Your fingers flex in his grip as you nod. He immediately releases you and your bravado returns as you follow him back to the Jeep. He opens the door for you and you get into the passenger seat. He slides behind the wheel and pulls away from the park. Silence hangs heavy between you before you speak again.
“I meant what I said. The DEA was told that the CNP wasn’t running any kind of anti-narco operations in Medellín. If we had known-”
“The CNP isn’t running any anti-narco operations,” he admits with a bitter sigh. “But I am.”
“Ah, a rogue cop. We could use one of those.”
“We?”
“Go up three lights and turn left. Park behind the gray apartment building on the right. I’ll introduce you to the DEA guys. You know, in person.”
He sighs, feeling defeated. “So everyone in the discord is DEA?”
“No, we think that Quica and Blackie are narcos.”
“So Ranchero and DuckHunter are DEA?”
“Yup.” You grin. “Agents Javier Peña and Steve Murphy. I’m on loan from the CIA so everyone just knows me as Mariposa since I’m technically not even here. If you’re serious about tracking down these narcos, we really could use someone in the CNP.”
He pulls behind the gray building that you had directed him to and parks the Jeep. “Medellín is my home. I was born and raised here. I became a police officer to make sure it stayed as safe as possible. The narcos are leaking back in and no one is doing anything to stop it. I’m starting to feel like I’m the only one trying to fix a dam that’s leaking.”
“Well, we may be gringos but we do have some cool tools to help with that leaking dam. And we could use some insider information. So what do you say?”
His superiors certainly aren’t listening to him or providing any extra support. And if the American government is willing to foot the bill for resources, he would be a fool to not take advantage of that. “Alright. Let’s meet the gringos.”

A Review of “The Flash (2023)”
Tumblr media
The Flash is a hero I adore from the comics. It is crazy that it took this long for him to have a live-action movie. Unfortunately, the DCEU Flash movie went through development hell. It had multiple directors leave the project, multiple delays, multiple reshoots, the Ezra controversy, and constant changes in leadership at WB. Despite all these shenanigans, does this movie manage to deliver a great Flash movie?
Tumblr media
Firstly, they do deliver some strong and emotional moments. It's hard to be angry at Flash for wanting to save his mother and prove his Dad innocent. Seeing Flash cope with the unintended butterfly effects of going back in time and saving his mother, is a great concept. Barry's desperation to save this timeline because his mother still lives is powerful stuff. It has a heartfelt story of grief which I liked. Funny enough, Ezra has great chemistry with himself. Ezra plays the original and new timeline Barry who both interact with each other throughout the movie. I like the contrast between a slightly more mature and serious original Barry compared to the younger whiny new Barry. There are some genuinely funny moments between the two. I am also impressed by how convincingly they made it seem like there were 2 Ezras on set.
Tumblr media
One of the biggest selling points of this movie is Michael Keaton's return as Batman. It is great seeing him again even though his performance can feel a bit stiff and wooden. I was worried about how they could convince me that a 70-year-old Batman would still be capable of fighting. However, the action scenes with him are awesome and very enjoyable. Ben Affleck also returns as DCEU Batman for 1 last time. He is not in it for long but he is good as well. His action scenes are pretty entertaining and his scene with Barry is a highlight. The music score by Benjamin Wallfisch is wonderful and I love how he incorporates the classic Danny Elfman Batman theme. The greatest part though is Sasha Calle as Supergirl. She is terrific despite not being in it for long. I also think the costume team nailed the Michael Keaton Batsuits and the Supergirl suit as they both look exceptional!
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, the Ben Affleck Batsuit looks terrible. It is ugly and doesn't even feel like a proper Batsuit. Likewise, the Flash suit just doesn't look great. It looks too polished and very plastic looking. There are scenes where it looks like a guy in a giant red condom rather than a proper superhero suit. On that note, I am very mixed about Ezra Miller as Flash. He was all right in Zack Snyder's Justice League as he was more of a supporting role with a better script. However, his performance in this film comes off as way more obnoxious and annoying. It doesn't help that new timeline Barry is meant to be annoying on purpose but the result is both Barry's are infuriating. He does deliver during the more emotional moments but at other times, not so much.
Tumblr media
I am also very disappointed in the action scenes with the 'Flash'. While the Batman action is awesome, the action scenes with Flash are just not that satisfying. They are bland to look at, especially when compared to speedster scenes from X-Men and even Avengers. The 3rd act in this movie is a little overwhelming with the amount of things going on. There are some things concerning the multiverse that occurs as well but feels kind of contradictory to the rules set. I also find the ending terrible and contradicts the whole message of the movie. Additionally, they do something in the ending that raises more questions than answers and feels a little dumb if they are rebooting the universe. My major gripe though, is the atrociously bad CGI. A lot of the shots in this film look very ugly thanks to poor CGI. Some scenes look like it is straight out of a video game than a movie. They also use it to recreate people's likeness including dead people and it is disgusting to look at.
Tumblr media
Overall, what a massive disappointment this ended up being. You can see some element of great in it but it is all overshadowed by the bad. It is sad to see how poor the last couple of entries in the old DCEU are. It makes me more appreciative of James Gunn rebooting the DCEU. We still have 1 proper DCEU movie left with Aquaman 2 but my hopes aren't high.

An exclusive news report from The Verge that highlighted the excitement surrounding MultiVersus as it aims to fill the void that the popular Super Smash Brothers franchise, per similarity and owned by Nintendo. The open beta, which began shortly after the game was announced, allowed players to experience the core mechanics of the game and test the balance between characters from different universes of cartoons with the likes of Adventure Time, Steven Universe and more. The open beta game showcased some of the intense multiplayer battles and introduced new characters and stages that players could expect in the final version of the game next year.
During the open beta, players have the opportunity to receive rewards via Twitch, as mentioned in a helpful GameSkinny article. These bonuses from Twitch offering exclusive in-game rewards and items. The said article taught players how to maximize their chances of receiving these rewards when interacting with MultiVersus streams with the aforesaid video broadcasting platform.
While the closure of the Open Beta can be seriously disappointing, it's important to note that the developers want to use this time to tweak and refine MultiVersus based on the player's feedback. The development team has assured fans that a full release in 2024 will deliver an expanded character roster, improved gameplay mechanics, and a more immersive overall experience.
The decision to shut down the open beta aligns with WB Games' dedication to delivering a high-quality gaming experience for fans. Taking this extra time to refine the game reflects the studio's commitment to excellence and ensures that MultiVersus will meet and exceed player expectations when it returns later next year in 2024.
All in all, the end of the MultiVersus open beta may be bittersweet for fans, but it does mean that the WBG is committed to delivering an unparalleled gaming experience. With the valuable feedback gathered from the beta, the developers have a solid foundation to build on, promising an even more impressive and polished gaming. Fans eagerly awaiting the return of MultiVersus and all the exciting battles it has in store.

But I always thought comicbook shows was where the money was at. In fact, the cw wouldn't have survived this long on the teen dramas without adding the comicbook shows like Smallville and then the Arrowverse. Is the WB not fighting for those shows since the Discovery deal? It's just weird to me. Marvel shows are thriving, but their seasons are way too short and the characters don't really interact much or at all.
Marvel has a business model that works, DC Entertainment/Warner Bros (currently) does not.
The MCU is a well oiled machine where everything is connected, from the huge movies to the limited series with just 6-8 episodes. DC on the other hand can’t even manage to keep the DCEU consistent, much less incorporate anything from DCTV. The biggest and most blatant attempt at that was having Ezra show up in the crossover with Grant but given what a hot mess Ezra has proven to be, all the delays, and the way TV Flash has fallen off we highly doubt anything will ever come of it so it’s a lost opportunity just like so many others.
Point is comic book shows/movies are where the money is at…if they’re done well and more importantly received well. If they’re not then they’re money guzzling content with very little pay off and therefore not worth the investment.
Personally we don’t feel that Batwoman falls under that category and it could have been saved and with a few tweaks and added exposure could have done well—certainly better than some shows that were renewed—so with think it was mistake to cancel that show.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three
Tumblr media
So can we all just agree that phase 4 has been a bloated mess? Okay? Good. With that out of the way, let’s discuss James Gunns final bow to the MCU; it’s no secret that Gunn and the House of Mouse have had a tumultuous half decade. With the brief pandering to their right-wing audience, and just generally keeping him on a short leash as they tend to do with all their collaborators; but I’m not here to go on a diatribe over ethics in late-stage capitalism, so let’s talk about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
GotG 3 takes us to back to NOWHERE, which (if you saw the holiday special you’d know) now serves as their base of operations. When they suddenly attacked by agents of The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), who is after Rocket as he is the Evolutionary’s complex creation and could hold the key to perfecting The High Evolutionary’s greatest experiment.
A lot of moving parts in this one, and I can’t say that seamlessly interact with each other. The movie is a lot of fun, so I’ll make that abundantly clear, but definitely a weird movie and not in the way one might expect.
Visuals were edge lord-esque at times, as there was some icky body horror that I personally found amusing (because I’m 12), might not be up the alley of someone who doesn’t care for gratuitous gore.
Tumblr media
But I love the lighting and camera work during some of these fight scenes, there’s a reason WB gave James Gunn the keys to the kingdom.
Sound quality was all over the place as well, definitely not a bad movie by any stretch but there were points when it was unnecessarily loud. And what can I say about the soundtrack that hasn’t already been said about his previous works? James Gunn has amazing taste in music, duh!
Acting is solid for most part, newcomers Chukwudi Iwuji and Will Poulter are fun, but not particularly memorable, and if you let Chris Pratt outshine that’s got to be a slap in the face. The rest of the cast is extremely entertaining and have amazing chemistry.
Tumblr media
The story was barely there, it was far from Gunn’s writing and I’m convinced that this was intentional.
He pushed the PG-13 rating to its maximum, with occasional f-bombs and a couple of other potty words.
His heart was not in it and he’s done with Disney’s nonsense.
I didn’t hate this movie, I wish it were the film that fans of the franchise deserved but here we are. As a colleague of mine stated, it comes off as mean spirited and I sadly agree after sitting of how this movie made me feel. Anyway godspeed, James Gunn.
I give Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3, a 3 out of 5.

Death in the Family: WB Interactive Entertainment Terminates PS4 and XB1 Versions of Gotham Knights
Rumors began swirling earlier this year that WBIE could have possibly canceled the PS4 and XB1 versions of the upcoming Batman Arkham spinoff, Gotham Knights. More rumors hit yesterday that the game would no longer feature 2 player co-op but would be expanding to 4 player online co-op. Not long after this news hit the official social media accounts for Gotham Knights let it be known that new…

Gotham Knights - Official Heroic Assault Trailer | PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
Gotham Knights is an action-RPG video game developed by WB Games Montreal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics franchise, the game was released on October 21, 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. A release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was originally planned, but those releases were later cancelled. It was first revealed at the DC FanDome on August 22, 2020. The game features Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood as Gotham's new protagonists. Villains featured in the game include the Court of Owls, Mr. Freeze, and the Penguin.

*-* Gotham Knights will be available on October 21, 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Every version of Gotham Knights comes with the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin as a pre-order bonus. This will provide a unique look for your in-game motorcycle, giving it a slight brown tint in several key areas.
Drive through the streets of Gotham in style.
*-* Is there a pre-order bonus for Gotham Knights?
The Gotham Knights pre-order bonus is a 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin. When you pre-order Gotham Knights, you'll receive the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin at launch. It's based on the vehicle's first appearance in DC's Detective Comics #233.
How do you get the Batcycle skin in Gotham Knights?

While some players might be happy just performing wheelies in Gotham Knights, those wanting to do so in style will need to complete the Batcycle Time Trials scattered across the map. Each time trial will unlock a few of the colorways, and completing all of them will also unlock the Bat Out Of Hell achievement. *-* How much is Gotham Knights pre-order?
Gotham Knights Pre-Orders Reveal Expensive $300 Edition.
*-* Will Gotham Knights be 4 player?
A: Yes. Gotham Knights can be played with a friend via the two-player online cooperative (co-op) mode or enjoyed solo at launch. On November 29, 2022, the game will also add Heroic Assault, a standalone mode supporting up to four players in online co-op. Q: Can players
swap between characters in Gotham Knights?
*-* Can you play Gotham Knights offline?
Gotham Knights is playable from start to finish in single-player, developer WB Montreal has confirmed. Despite its co-op focus, the whole game can be tackled offline.
How many hours is Gotham Knights?
According to HowLongToBeat, Gotham Knights' main story is about 16 hours long. To beat it within this time, though, you'll need to focus exclusively on the primary cases, which mostly revolve around the Court Of Owls.
*-* Is Gotham Knights worth it?
Gotham Knights is a good game, and we had a lot of fun playing it. It isn't, however, a great game, and its shortcomings are disappointing. Its engaging story is marred by issues that other games have solved for years. But despite a myriad of problems, ultimately it did more right than wrong.
s Gotham Knights 2 player offline?
To make a long story short, Gotham Knights doesn't offer split-screen co-op. The only way to play the game is online with friends or strangers.
