A report just came out from a Palestinian hostage saying he was strapped with bombs and sent into a Hamas tunnel, with Israel prepared to blow the tunnel up with his body if fighters were found inside and yet people are still making the “Hamas uses human shields” arguments that have been confirmed to be a myth with no supporting evidence

How do you draw so frequently???

I'm starting to think I probably have some passive ADHD so I end up always admiring ppl who can just constantly do stuff, it's like a dream, your art is also like a dream, Vasco is also a sweet dream, I really like Vasco, he looks really sweet

I set aside a little bit of time every evening just to draw, it's become almost like a wind down routine for me. It helps if I don't treat it as serious 100% effort hard mode art time, I usually multitask a little on the side, watch a movie or take breaks to do little chores around the house and art just sort of happens if it happens. Lately I've been making mostly personal low pressure feel-good pieces.

I enjoy call-backs and set-ups immensely. #What other creatures does LSZ have in his sleeve pockets? What other endangered beasts have been accidently translocated? #Will the turtle ever make an appearance again? So many questions. Which I will now answer: #1) At least one rabbit and a few songbirds have made a permanent home in there. #2) I like to think all the cultivators leaving baoshan sanren's mountain are accidently translocated endangered creatures. #3) Yes. The tulu xuanwu will be pivotal presence in the climax of the story. Dare I say - the hero of the darkest hour.

THE RUMORS ARE TRUE! 

I am fresh off of drawing an entire graphic novel (which will be out in stores Feb 2024 oh boy!) and about to start Kickstarter fulfillment for my other (18+) comic, and NOW I FINALLY CAN GET BACK TO SAKANA. It has been a long few years for everyone. :U

Right now I'm focusing on building a buffer of pages before I decide on an official relaunch date, but there are NEW ACTUAL PAGES IN EXISTENCE AS WE SPEAK. I thought it would be hard to jump back in but turns out when you've done something 600 times already the BODY REMEMBERS.

I don't have a set goal for buffer pages other than "A LOT OF THEM" but I'll be posting them to the $5 tier of my Patreon until I decide on a public relaunch date (hopefully mid summer?) There's already 3 whole real pages up there. Unbelievable.

Anyhoo, thanks to everyone who's been waiting patiently for Jiro Sakana to get his ass in gear!! A whole pandemic has happened (is happening!) since the last update oh my god.

It's good to be back!
