It's about a man, Eric Draven, who comes back from the grave to avenge his fiancee, and himself, on the anniversary of their deaths on the night before Halloween, Devil's Night. He loved his fiancee so much that by some force, he was brought back to life but only for a night. His soul is connected to a crow that accompanies him (the reason being, in the movie, that crows carry souls to the afterlife when people die).

So basically it's about an undead guy seeking revenge on the gang that murdered him and his soon to be wife. It's ridiculously silly, the most goth-edgy-hot topic bait movie ever made, but its SO heartfelt and full of love and kindess at the same time. It also has one of the best movie soundtracks ever.
