GB Back To Work!

Hello everyone 👋

I've made it back to my house in one piece. Though one day later because the original flight was cancelled and with my suitcase still stuck at the airport because they didn't send it on the same new flight as me, aha. It could've been a lot worse at least.

I hope you've all been well. I had an adventurous time away these past couple weeks. There were a lot of pretty sights and it was quite inspiring. But I'm very glad to be back. I've missed my normal life.

It'll take some time to catch up on things and make progress as usual, however things are gonna be chugging along again now. Hopefully I can get some good work done before the end of July!

I appreciate the well-wishes and patience and support. It was so nice to see 💕

Will your Graphic Novel come out in English?

i don't have a contract yet so i don't know!

aside from having to think about getting my BA first, i really don't know how that is going to work. i do hope it will be, so it can reach wider audiences, but again – i don't know yet.

i can only say that if i don't manage to get hired by a publishing house (and i really hope it doesn't happen) i would turn it into a webcomic, and that will of course be in english.

hey I went to Bad At It island and everyone you know was there. yeah turns out you just see the version of them they put forwards in order to not disappoint and in actuality everyone is just trying their best which doesn't always mean succeeding. yeah you were there as well but it's ok because you're surrounded by your friends and loved ones and if you take a moment you'll realise we are all flawed by nature but we are all full of love for one another and that matters more than any skill or success or achievement.

When Palestinian’s say “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” they are not calling for the ethnic cleansing of Israeli Jews/all Jewish people entirely. They are just asking for decolonisation.

Between the river (the Jordan River) and the sea (the Mediterranean Sea) lies Palestine, which has been occupied by Israel for the past 75 years. When they say Palestine will be free, they mean exactly that- for decolonisation; to end the illegal occupation of land that was theirs first.

I don’t know where the idea that this motto means genocide or is a “rallying cry for terrorists” came from, but all sources I have seen that spread this message are all pro-Israel and have unreliable propaganda filled articles. There is one article specifically that says that the Palestine flag emoji is used as shorthand for this phrase, and using it is antisemitic.

I hope people keep using this motto, keep chanting it at protests, and know that it does not making them antisemitic, pro-genocide, or an ignorant person. For it to not be obvious at this point that no Palestinian wants an ethnic cleansing of any kind, is shocking.

That's alright! I'm obsessed with the creation part of game making, but it is a struggle for me to do the other parts of running a game dev company. Most of the time I just forget important dates and never put our stuff on sale when it'd make sense, then don't do it randomly either.

I am sorry since I know people are waiting for those, so you're welcome to remind me! Our games are on sale. And I mean right now, I just put the discounts in. The Winter Sales on Steam and Itch.io have started and everybody can get OL extras and/or our older games at a discount starting today then going forward for the next couple weeks :D
