This year I wanted to help push Mercury Stardust's and Jory's (Alluringskull) efforts to raise money for point of pride to even maybe a couple people who aren't aware!

This years donathon had such a rough start due to transphobes mass reporting and getting the lives taken down. Mercury, Jory, and everyone involved are still fighting though, and they've just hit $1,000,000 in donations!

Point of Pride is a trustworthy nonprofit organization that helps so many trans people.

Many trans people have trouble getting life saving gender affirming care due to things such as housing difficulties, disability, insurance issues, constant discrimination, etc. Point of Pride helps these communities and funds gender affirming care. Care such as surgeries, gender affirming garments, electrolysis, and art.

I encourage sharing the link, or donating if you can!

You can also go just sit in the lives for the donathon, or keep it on in the background to help boost the algorithm!

Mercury, Jory, the Point of Pride founders, and everyone else who was fundraising on live over TDOV weekend unfortunately didn't make the $4 million goal.

HOWEVER!!!

The fundraiser is still open. Mercury announced today that she'll still be fundraising on lives and such until she gets to that $4 million. So PLEASE, donate if you can! Ask your friends, family, coworkers, fellow students, and more to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE donate as well. My heart breaks every time I read how much people are hating on alluringskull/Jory she is genuinely a lovely person and it REALLY REALLY shows how hard it is for black and indigenous trans women to exist, she literally did nothing wrong and people will Bend over backwards to call her out, even in the trans spaces

Mercury Stardust has called out this too, saying she never deserved this hate for doing things she is going to do as well, saying even the journalists covering their streams for charity, they ignored her, never wanted to interview her

The money was raised for their gender affirming care, they raised 2 MILLION dollars for gender affirming care, and NONE of that was touched, but money that was used was raised Specifically for Jory and people are still saying she scammed people when Multiple people who Worked then who Donated then know other wise
