it's immensely funny to me how andrew lloyd webber read this passage from the book and was like yeah the journey down to the phantom's lair is this really breathtaking magical gondola ride where christine is just captivated by the strange and fantastical beauty of it all (see below)
when in the novel they're both like in a rowboat in the dark with christine scared out of her mind and confused as hell while erik is paddling like he's out for an extreme day of fishing and just staring christine down for the entire duration of the journey without blinking once . like mind you his eyes quite literally GLOW in the DARK and he's just fucking staring into her soul and silently rowing and probably not even breathing like

I love the classic Scooby Doo aesthetic. There’s something so undeniably stylistic and intentional about how Where Are You and subsequent shows were animated. Sure, Scooby Doo gets clowned on a lot for being cheaply animated and I mean, yeah, it was a cartoon from the late 60’s made for kids, and it looks like it. But it’s also incredibly atmospheric and moody. The brightly colored characters stand in contrast to murky, shadowed backgrounds, the jokes and talking dog serve to alleviate the fact that Scooby Doo is often truly frightening in tone and appearance. Take the Gang out of the picture and you’re often looking at some overgrown, swampland with long, overhanging tendrils threatening to swallow up the scene or some vast, twilight-hued desert, abandoned houses with peeling paint and rotting walls, turbulent oceans, or crowded cityscape alleyways. It’s almost always night, the moon always hanging high, when it’s not hidden in the often overcast skies, heavy storm clouds flashing lighting and roaring thunder. The world beyond the characters exists in shades of blue and purple, green and brown, black and gray. Everywhere is frightening. Every building haunted, every ocean choppy, every sky stormy, every forest twisted and choking. When the landscape isn’t overcrowded, threatening to devour up the screen, it’s desolate….sheer mountains and lonely highways, a world of rickety bridges and black-dirt back-roads, dotted by hand-painted signs asking that visitors BEWARE….

Hey zelda fandom
do any of you have headcanons that only you seem to have? I’d love to here them
One of my favorite headcanons that i have is that Skull kid was born a gerudo male along side Ganondorf unfortunately for Skull kid the gerudo chose Ganondork instead of him since they were afraid of the strange anomaly that was 2 gerudo men being born at the same time and thought it would bring tragedy to them
