Hahaha I've got about a MILLION overly specific headcanons... try not to pass out.

Who is more likely to make an impulsive decision and who is the voice of reason? Amelia makes the impulsive decisions. She's acting without thinking most of the time. And that lands her up in trouble more often than not. Believe it or not, Javi is the voice of reason (although he’s had his own share of insane decisions, but in comparison, he’s better off.) He’s never stolen a car, wrecked it, left it in the snow and hidden in a church while trying to avoid arrest— or at least he didn’t do it out of his own reasoning. He’d have tried to avoid it. Amelia is really REALLY the type who would pull the trigger first and think of implications later.

Which member steels burrows the other ones clothing? Both of them!! Their closets are one and the same, they even go shopping together. And their sizes are roughly the same, Javi being only a liiiiittle bigger than her. So they frequently exchange each other’s clothes. It depends on whose house they’re staying over at. They do have preferences. Amelia had a light pink hoodie with a galaxy print and cute clouds, that Javi hijacked the first week they started dating and now she calls it Javi’s hoodie. Javi thinks she looks absolutely stunning in his leather jackets and offers to do her eye make-up to make it go with the leather jacket— and he dies minutes later because her brown eyes highlighted by his artwork are murderous. Also he’s kept a bunch of oversized shirts that he thinks look cute on him, even though they’re oversized on him too. When she’s wearing oversized shorts she’s usually bare underneath and that is… he likes that.

Who is "more loved" by the in-laws Comparatively, it’s Javi. But that’s because Javi doesn’t have a Warden Carlos Garcia to impress. Pop Pop threatened Javi once, the whole break my baby girl's heart and I'll break you deal but he was pretty happy with Javi dating her, because 1. He was too old to break anything Javi had, and 2. He knew he didn't need to. Amelia on the other hand... had some issues. Izzy's delivery of the "break my big bro's heart" line had far too much impact, especially with her growly voice and the fact that she'd just returned from javelin throw practice and was holding a spear in her hand anyway. Their mom had been really nice to Amelia though, she even offered her cookies when Amelia visited... Warden Garcia said "No." the second the idea was presented. Followed by a "I'm very disappointed in you, my boy" and a more authoritative "I demand you never see her again" which was met with Amelia taking it on her ego, and showing up at the Garcia's in the middle of the night with a shovel, drunk as fuck, and and yelling "GIVE ME YOUR SON OR I WILL TAKE YOU TO YOUR GRAVE! I HAVE MY GHOSTS BACKING ME UP"

Who is more likely to get jealous? Amelia gets jealous. She's crazy possessive. Javi gets jealous, but not as much as Amelia. More than jealous, he gets insecure, with the whole "am I not good enough" vibe, where he's just sulking in a corner like a puppy in the rain. Amelia is the jealous type and would do anything to keep her man. That's it. I'm not elaborating further.

Amelia E. Jones was born and raised in one of Earth space colonies, working since she could talk in her family’s Star Ranch. Her eyes would always look up in the sky with big dreams to explore the Universe.

One day Capitain Kirkland, a space pirate that has the ability to shapeshift in different mythical creatures, decides to visit Jones’ Ranch to steal supplies.

While trying to protect the cattle Amelia meets Arthur face to face, she gets excited over the fact that he has a tail, she’d never seen an alien like him in her life.

While pirates are making a mess of her home she starts to ask questions to the Captain about his travels and space. Amused by her curiosity and lack of fear Arthur jokingly asks her to join him on his ship to see the end of the Universe, of course she accepts. ——— He tries to persuade her by reminding her about her life in the ranch and her family but to no use, her eyes already shining like stars with excitment (and her inhuman strenght) are impossible to say no to.

"There isn't enough of two guys just being friends!" Is such a weird take to me cuz like...

Yugi and Joey, Tristan and Joey, Judai and Manjome, Judai and Sho, Judai and Edo, Yusei and Jack and Crow, Yusei and Bruno (yeah I ship it but it's not canon), Yuma and Shark, Yuma and Bronk, Yuma and Kaito, Yuya and Sora, Yuya and Sawatari, Yuya and Gong, Yuto and Shun/Shay, Yusaku and Takeru, Yusaku and Kusanagi, Takeru and Flame (again I ship it but there's nothing canonical about it), Yuga and Luke, Yuga and Gakuto, Yuga and Roa, Yuga and Nail

And that's just within Yugioh. There are so fucking many. Even outside of Yugioh, I can name just tons and tons of male characters who are just friends and don't end up romantic.

Meanwhile, every single male/female relationship either has one of them (usually the girl) have a crush (Judai and Asuka, Yuma and Tori, Tristan and Miho) or they end up romantically involved in the end (this latter option is admittedly more of a problem in western media since most anime I watch don't like confirming relationships but I could still name so many).

So often I'll watch a movie or show that's not even a romance and they still manage to squeeze in some romantic subplot no matter how forced or pointless it seems. Edge of Tomorrow comes to mind immediately for me, what even was the point of pairing those two outside of "the lead two characters are a man and a woman"? Do we really want to set a precedent that men and women can never be friends? Because this happens. All the time. Indy gets a new girl in every single Indiana Jones movie. Leia was the only woman of the group in the OG Star Wars trilogy so she had to get paired with one of the guys and one of them was her brother so that can't happen. But it was happening romantically (even if only slightly) before they knew. What even was the point of the romantic sideplots in the Equestria Girls movies? Oh and Fox and the Hound introducing a female love interest just so she can be the female love interest. The boy and girl in Mr Peabody and Sherman are both like nine and the movie still insists on pushing a romantic angle between them when one of them tried to choke out the other. Nearly every Disney princess movie gives their lead a prince, with some being more pointless than others. Doppler and Amelia are implied like twice then randomly have children at the end of Treasure Planet. Don't even get me started on Warrior Cats. I could go on but I'll stop for now.

Male/female friendships who stay purely platonic and aren't siblings (Luke and Leia) or different species (Nick and Judy from Zootopia) are so so much rarer than male/male or female/female friendships, which are basically everywhere. And what kind of message does that send? That a man and woman can never just be friends? I'd rather not go into how much this exact mindset ruined or just confused so many of my past friendships so just know that my frustration with this is partially personal.

I'm so tired of the most obligatory milk toast straight couples being shoved into every movie or show I watch, especially if it's said female character's only trait or purpose to the narrative. Meanwhile, LGBT pairings are still fighting for representation in media. Steven Universe and The Owl House were revolutionary in terms of representation and they both got canceled early.

It's one thing if the movie is about romance (ie: WALL-E and Elemental are two of my favourite Pixar movies) but it's another when the romance or one sided crush is just shoved in because "that's what men and women have to be doing." It's a stupid mindset and it needs to stop.

This is why Judai & Asuka, Yusaku & Aoi, and Yuga & Romin being purely platonic matter so much to me.

Ai, olha, lá vou eu.

Vou começar anunciando o que já tá claro pra todo mundo ver, tá bem? Alguém tinha alguma dúvida de que Alice Murphy e Frank Longbottom iam acabar se atracando mais cedo ou mais tarde? Não, né? Felizmente, nossos dois pombinhos pararam de rodear os sinais do coração e finalmente se declararam um para o outro. Fiquei sabendo que foi lá na estufa da Professora Sprout... Pelo visto não são só as plantas que retêm calor por lá!

Uma pena para nosso malvado favorito, Benjy Fenwick, que parece não ter esquecido Alice até hoje. Pelo menos ele tem o colo de Ophelia Diggle pra chorar, não é mesmo? Se querem saber minha opinião, o que rola ali é papinho demais e resolução de menos, mas o que não dá pra negar é o quanto esses dois sonserinos gostam um do outro. Será que estiveram olhando para o lado errado durante todo esse tempo? Eles falam que são como irmãos, mas alguém compra essa história? Aposto que Peter Pettigrew vai cair duro quando descobrir que seu melhor amigo (será mesmo?) não é seu único concorrente.

Agora, saindo do mais óbvio para o menos óbvio, posso jurar que ouvi Sturgis Podmore oferecendo aulinhas particulares para Hestia Jones. Que história de “experiência divertida” é essa, Sturgis? Na verdade, tenho um grande palpite do que pode ser essa tal experiência... Só digo uma coisa: Hestia, minha filha, fica espertinha, tá? Sei de outras duas pessoas que começaram a se encontrar com essa desculpinha de “encontros acadêmicos” e agora tão aí, bebendo whisky de fogo, sooozinhos, em um bar naaada a ver, cheeeios de papinho furado... O que posso dizer? Os quietinhos são também os mais espertinhos, como podemos ver no caso de Remus Lupin e Emmeline Vance.

Ah, e estou apenas começando. Não vou dizer que não reparei na espichada de olho de Edgar Bones para Dorcas Meadowes nesses últimos dias. Vamos lá, Edgar, esse seu papelzinho de lufano gente fina não engana ninguém, tá? A gente sabe que você é bem ligeirinho. Inclusive, é melhor você se decidir, porque não é como se a gente não tivesse percebido que você também tem um abismo por Marlene McKinnon. As duas são melhores amigas, então é bom você tomar cuidado, hein? Melhor parar de tentar impedir Sirius Black de dar uma fugida com sua irmã Amelia e ir logo chamar sua cara-metade pra sair, antes que a coisa aperte aí pro seu lado.

E já que tô falando de todo mundo, vou dizer de uma vez: Mary Macdonald chegou com tudo essa semana, pessoal. Tudo mesmo, tá certo? Indo na onda do Sturgis, essa gatinha deu de oferecer uma “experiência sensorial” para os outros e agora tá aí, me fazendo pensar que não é só de plantas que ela entende. Vocês tão sacando o que eu quero dizer quando falo que os bonzinhos são os mais perigosos? Eu, hein!

Fiquem espertos para minha próxima coluninha na semana que vem. Quem sabe, até lá, James Potter e Lily Evans já terão parado de brincar de cão e gato? Espero que na próxima vez eu finalmente possa escrever alguma novidade sobre esses dois queridos, porque o que todo mundo tá careca de saber é que a Grifinória tá com grandes riscos de perder a Taça de Quadribol enquanto esse gracinha continuar confundindo a ruivinha com um pomo de ouro. É ruim, hein?

TASK 002: TERCEIRO DIA DE FESTIVAL — Parte II

“We're lost in a cloud | With too much rain…”

Hogsmeade está queimando. O que antes era um festival colorido e alegre agora se transformou em um mar de fumaça e chamas. Há um grupo de bruxos encapuzados apontando suas varinhas e impondo distância conforme vão destruindo tudo que ainda permanece em pé. Cartazes com mensagens como “Stop the War”, “Wizards against Wizardry Supremacy” e “Make Love Not War” já não podem ser encontrados. Aqueles sóbrios o suficiente para aparatar somem no meio da confusão, mas estamos nos anos 70 e o efeito de álcool e outras drogas impossibilita aparatações, de maneira que parte expressiva da plateia não pode fazer nada além de correr. Alguns moradores do vilarejo estão dispostos a enfrentar a ameaça, mas são poucos e mal conseguem se identificar no meio da multidão.

No meio da confusão, apenas vinte e dois alunos de Hogwarts decidem ficar. 

Um pouco mais distantes do palco, Lily Evans e James Potter encontram Dorcas Meadowes e Edgar Bones. Os quatro acabam se unindo enquanto tentam procurar pelos amigos e impedir o avanço dos comensais.

No coração da confusão, Remus Lupin e Emmeline Vance escolhem ficar para lutar e se juntam a Alice Murphy e Frank Longbottom para proteger os demais alunos.

Marlene McKinnon, Alastor Moody e Sirius Black, em um acordo mútuo, saem rapidamente de perto do palco para se juntar aos demais bruxos na linha de defesa do vilarejo.

Peter Pettigrew já tinha se transformado em rato para fugir do conflito quando um sopro de consciência faz ele voltar e procurar pelos amigos, encontrando Ophelia Diggle, Benjamin Fenwick e Lucinda Talkalot em formação.

Sturgis Podmore, Amelia Bones e Davey Gudgeon nem sequer pensam em aparatar e logo já estão em busca de outros alunos na resistência contra as figuras que vão avançando como fumaça pela multidão.

Greta Catchlove, Hestia Jones, Mary Macdonald e Pandora Dorellan firmam uma aliança e fazem o possível para impedir que o fogo avance pelas casas.

Com o avançar da hora, fica muito evidente para todos que nada mais será o mesmo e que novos tempos se instalam na comunidade bruxa. Entre as poucas pessoas que permanecem em pé, alguns alunos de Hogwarts chamam a atenção uns dos outros e, conforme a fumaça vai se dissipando meio à noite, eles finalmente se encontram e se juntam até formar um grupo maior. Quando os danos da confusão são contidos e as figuras encapuzadas somem meio à multidão, eles decidem procurar abrigo no Cabeça de Javali e aguardar até que seja seguro retornar à Hogwarts. Exaustos, acabam passando a noite ali, recapitulando os acontecimentos da noite anterior e tentando entender o que acabaram de vivenciar. 

Não sabem que estão sendo vistos através do espelho de dois lados do bar. Não sabem que Albus Dumbledore está observando, de seu escritório em Hogwarts, a aliança que acaba de se formar. 

Não sabem ainda que essa é a primeira reunião da Ordem da Fênix.

Nessa task, pedimos para que os players turnem usando e abusando de todas os espaços que o rpg e o universo bruxo oferecem, além da lista de feitiços que pode ser encontrada aqui.

Enfatizamos que os prompts em tópicos são apenas formas de ajudar os players a encontrarem seus devido lugares no decorrer do fim do terceiro dia, mas que podem ser alterados e incrementados. Aliás, incentivamos a troca de "panelas", onde alguns grupos se juntem e personagens se separem. Isso ajudará a fortalecer turnos entre personagens que nunca sequer interagiram, ou que tiveram poucas interações, como seria o caso de Sirius Black e Alice Murphy, por exemplo. POVs também são muito bem-vindos.

Essa task irá durar enquanto a central sentir que será necessário para que todos tenham explorado o final do dia. Qualquer dúvida, estamos disponíveis.
