Voyager plotline in which The Doctor, Seven, Tuvok, and Neelix have to become a barbershop quartet in order to save the crew. With the little outfits and everything. (Harry's providing the music)

#It's life or death bc neither Seven nor Tuvok would want to do it otherwise #Look at the EMH and tell me he wouldn't love to twirl a little cane around and sing a jaunty little tune #I chose Neelix as the fourth bc I remember Seven was trying to teach him how to sing? #and I like a whole 'we'll NEVER get to nationals like THIS!' moment bc he's got enthusiasm but is horribly off key #I think the resolution is that they try to just have Neelix lip sync but something goes wrong and one by one the other members #fall in the middle of the performance for a variety of reasons and then it's only Neelix and whoever was providing his voice falters #and so Neelix just has to sing himself and it turns out the aliens fucking LOOVE his terrible off key vocals #everyone else is groaning (from the variety of ailments and injuries that hit them) and Neelix is grinning with a trophy the aliens gave th #(they also gave their crew back) #fake star trek voyager episodes my beloved #st voyager

Am I the only one who noticed that in the S2 cover art, the Forgiven prisoners are facing towards the door, while the Unforgiven ones are facing away from it?

Ahh yes!! It really is such a cool detail!! It takes the idea of Es/us getting in their heads and makes it something very tangible 👀

The innocent prisoners are comfortable showing us their thoughts: Haruka looks like he's checking you're still there following him. Yuno isn't happy about it, but she still wants to show you something to prove her point. Muu can keep hands behind her back because she hasn't done anything wrong, see? Regardless of Shidou’s emotions for what's through the door, he's putting on gloves to administer care, since that's what he'll use this opportunity for. In his teasers, Kazui seems eager to get something off his chest, and out of everyone he looks the most purposeful at leading you inside.

Meanwhile, guilty Fuuta and Mahiru have their backs to the mindscape. I think it's interesting that theyre not trying to stop us from going in -- it looks more like they themselves don’t want to spend any more time in their own head. They're afraid of us, and are shielding their prominent injuries (eye and arm). Although Kotoko may have been the one to actually attack, I absolutely love how well the art conveys this was our fault. They’re in so much pain because of us.

I'm curious if, given their t2 changes and the fact they weren't physically injured, Amane and Mikoto will end up looking more angry than scared...

I hate how people are cancelled for shipping characters with age gaps because 80% of the time I do not pay attention for the age of the characters. I was raised in the 2000s cw tv shows where every teenager was interpret by an adult and everybody from 15 to 30y looked the same. In animation I also can't tell because every story follows their own style in character designs.
