No, no, it was nothing
5: Adding to the way he could look bigger last year, now there are times when he lowers his pressure and looks small!!
Tumblr media
Pag 14

Part 21
Takahiro: We need to talk. (His speech was still slightly slurred).
Usagi: Ar- are you drunk?
Takahiro: Only a little bit. Is my family there?
Usagi: (Sighs, leans against the wall, crossing his arms), That depends, what family are you talking about?
Takahiro: My wife and Kid.
Usagi: So not the baby brother you claim to care so much about, only to get drunk because you hate the fact that he’s gay?
Takahiro: You don’t Understand.
Usagi: What I understand is, that the you’re going to lose the brother you say you care about so much if you  don’t come to terms with who he is and his happiness. I think you should probably figure your shit out before his graduation, or you might lose him  forever.
Takahiro: B-
Usagi: I have to go, I think it’s  better if you give everyone space. (Hangs up, Misaki Runs into his arms, tears are in his eyes). Did you hear all that?
Misaki: Yeah.
Usagi: I’m sorry.
Misaki:  It’s not you’re fault. Um, can we just go to bed.
Usagi: Sure, yeah. It’s been a long day. (He picked the younger boy up cradling him in his arms, heading up the stairs to their room).
Misaki: (Wraps his arms around his neck), I didn’t ask you to do this.
Usagi: (Laughs softly), Yeah, but you aren’t really complaining.
(Usagi walked into  their room, closing the door behind him, sitting Misaki on the bed, he grinned staring down at him causing Misaki to blush.)
Misaki: What?
Usagi: (Leans down, pushing hair behind Misaki's ear. He smiles warmly kissing him on the lips.) You’re so fucking sexy. I- miss you.
Misaki: (He sighed, rubbing his hands up and down Usagi’s arms), I miss you too.
Usagi: Can’t we, (He gave a naughty smile, sliding his hands under Misaki’s shirt, playing with his nipples).
Misaki: (Moans slightly), No baby, you know we can’t.
Usagi: You aren’t making any effort to move my hands.
Misaki: It feels good, I miss it, but no. (He took Usagi’s hands out of his shirt), stop babe.
Usagi: (Sits on the bed beside  him), Look, I just think we can have sex, what's the worst that can happen?
Misaki: Your stiches that are barely healed could come undone, then you have to get them fixed, and we’ll have to wait longer. You just got home from the hospital a few  days ago and for some reason I just let you lift me.
Usagi: We’ll the Doc said, no heavy lifting so...
Misaki: Hey... (He knocked against Usagi), I just want you to be carful.
Usagi: We’ll can we sleep with our shirts off?
Misaki: You have to promises no nipple play.
Usagi: Okay. (He grinned, ripping Misaki’s shirt off pushing him on the bed hungrily kissing him).
Misaki: (He looks up at the older man, running his fingers through his hair, moving his arms down to the bottom of his shirt, slowly taking it off. Misaki ran his hands over the older mans back.)
Usagi: I thought we weren’t doing this. (He grins placing kisses all over Misaki’s face.)
Misaki: We aren’t, but, that doesn’t mean I can’t feel your back right? I miss the feel of it.
Usagi: You’re cute.
Misaki: (Blushes), you know how I feel about that word.
Usagi: Yeah, you love it.
Misaki: I actually have grown to love it.
Usagi: Because you know it’s true.
Misaki: Maybe, (The younger boy shivers)
Usagi: Are you cold?
Misaki: Yeah, it’s freezing.
Usagi: (He smiles, pulling the covers around them, turning now the two were on their sides). Better?
Misaki: Not quite. (He grinned, turning to Usagi, so his head was on his chest), perfect.
Usagi: (Grins, Wrapping his arms around Misaki). Absolutely.
(The two fell asleep, wrapped in each others arms, their hearts syncing, beating as one).
(Usagi was the first to wake, it was around seven thirty am, Misaki was sound asleep, his head resting against Usagi’s chest, the older man smiled gently pressing a kiss against his head. He loved Misaki so much, he wished Takahiro would accept Misaki, he knew Usagi was Gay and didn’t mind, Misaki was probably right, his brother had this whole life planned out for him, and his plans didn’t include him being gay, let alone falling in love with his brother best friend. Takahiro would have to get over it, Misaki was who he was, and he couldn’t change that, and it’s not like they planned to fall in love, Usagi clearly remembers that they hated each other at first. Usagi laughed to himself, he couldn’t believe almost five years ago they met, and a few months after that they started dating, although, he still feels awful about the way he treated him when he first came to his place, Misaki forgives him but Usagi still feels sick when you thinks about it. He closed his eyes trying to push the memory away again. Misaki stirred, he stretched looking up at the older man.)
Misaki: Hi, (He grinned, blushing).
Usagi: Morning. Did you sleep well?
Misaki: Yeah, I guess. (He ran his hand over Usagi's muscular chest). Did you?
Usagi: Mmmmm.
Misaki: Good. (He sat up pulling the covers around him, he looked down at Usagi who propped himself up on his elbow, grinning at him).
Usagi: What is it baby? (he ran his hand up Misaki’s thigh).
Misaki: Um, (Misaki twisted his engagement ring around on his finger), Never mind its nothing. I- I’m going to take a shower. (Misaki started to get out of bed, but Usagi  reached for him).
Usagi: Tell me what’s wrong.
Misaki: Todays Saturday.
Usagi: Ah, (He sat up, giving him a confused look), and Saturdays make you sad?
Misaki: I graduate next week.
Usagi: So you’re nervous?
Misaki: No, I- (He looked down at the floor), I guess I don’t know how to feel, and with everything going on right now, Maybe I don’t want to Graduate.
Usagi: I know. (He sat on the edge of the bed) Come here, (He pulled Misaki on his lap), What do you want to do?
Misaki: Well, I want to take a shower. (He giggled), Um then I want to go get breakfast.
Usagi: Okay, where do you want to go?
Misaki: Lets go to the place we went yesterday? I know it’s out of the way, but can it be our place?
Usagi: Might as well be, It’s going to be close to our house.
Misaki: Okay. Also, I know you told my brother he should give us space but what i-
Usagi: No baby, you can’t go to him. it’s his job to figure this out. If you make up with him, he’ll think he’s off the hook, he’s not.
Misaki: Yeah, I guess. I just want to do something.
Usagi: (Caressing Misaki's face), I know, because your a fixer, this is different though.
Misaki: I know, (Kiss Usagi’s cheek), I’m going to take a shower. (Stands up).
Usagi: Can I come?
Misaki: (Rolls eyes), Fine, but no funny business.
Usagi: (Laughs, standing up), I KNOW! I KNOW! (Wraps arms around Misaki placing kisses on his neck).
Misaki: (Giggles); Hey, quite it.
Usagi: You said no funny business, you didn’t say no kissing.
Misaki: (Runs into bathroom), Sneaky.
Usagi: (Grins, chases after him).
Mahiro: Mommy, I’m hungry! (lying on his stomach, legs in the air, reading a book).
Manami: (On the couch flipping through channels), I know honey, but it sounds like your Uncles are up, so maybe when they come downstairs we can figure out breakfast. I can get you some juice and crackers for now?
Mahiro: Okay!
Manami: Alight, (she grins, standing up, ruffling Mahiro’s hair as she passes him walking into the kitchen).
Mahiro: Mom, when will Mitaki and Uangi get married?
Manami: I don’t know sweetie: (Brings snacks to him).
Mahiro: Are they going to have kids?
Manami: Maybe, why? you want cousins?
Mahiro: Yeah! Plus, I think they would make good parents, they deserve kids...( Puts, a finger to his chis), How do they have kids?
Manami: Um...
Mahiro: They can’t have kids like you and daddy.
Manami: And how did daddy and I have kids?
Mahiro: I don’t know, but I know that they can’t do it like you guys did.
Manami: Well, if they want to, they have a few options, but that  would be up to them.
Mahiro: Oh. (Takes a sip of juice), is this one of the conversations for when I’m older?
Manami: Or when they decied to have kids, and we can explain it to you better.
Mahiro: Okay.
Manami: (Sighs), Okay. (Sits down, leans against couch).
(Misaki wrapped a towel around his waist as he stepped out of the shower, Usagi has gotten out before him and was getting dressed in the bedroom. The older man still preferred wearing sweats instead of his dress shirts and ties, Misaki walked into the bedroom where Usagi wore black sweat pants, he was digging through the draws looking through a shirt to wear when he turned around to face the younger boy).
Usagi: Hey,(He pulled him towards him kissing his cheek).
Misaki: Hi. (He look down at his stomach, looking down at his scar, carefully running his fingers over it).
Usagi: Misaki, it’s okay.
Misaki: It’s not.
Usagi: I’m okay though. I’m here. Plus, I never would've discovered my love for sweats without it.
Misaki: (Laughs sadly), Yeah I guess.
Usagi: Don’t worry. (He grinned putting on a black shirt and a black hoodie). I love you.
Misaki: I love you too.
Usagi: Okay, I’m going to take this downstairs. (He picked up the laundry basket sitting on the), I’ll see you in a minute, then we can go eat.
Misaki: Sounds good.
(He stood up kissing Usagi softly on the lips, he exited the bedroom, Misaki went to the dresser searching for something to wear, landing on gray sweatpants, a white shirt, and a red hoodie, quickly towel drying his hair, then he made his way downstairs. Misaki paused at the top of  the stairs, watching Usagi interact with Mahiro, the two were growing closer, it made his heart swell.)
Usagi: Go fish.
Mahiro: You promise you don’t have any fives?
Usagi: I don’t have any fives, I’d let you have a five if I did.
Mahiro: Fine. (He grumbled pulling a card from the deck, a huge smile forming across his face.) I GOT THE FIVE!! I DIDN’T NEED YOUR STINKY CARDS ANYWAY!
Usagi: (Laughs), Good game. (He stacked the cards together shuffling them).
Misaki: (Walking up behind him, kissing him on his cheek), Hey.
Usagi: Hey, you ready?
Misaki: Yeah, (He glanced at Manami and Mahiro), You guys want to come eat breakfast with us?
Mahiro: Yes!! (He jumped up running over to Misaki almost knocking him over, running into the mudroom, Manami racing after him).
Usagi: Aright, lets go. (He stood up stretching, as his phone started to ring), Hold on. Hello?
Eri: Usami; it’s me.
Usagi: (he slid his hand in his pocket, glancing at Misaki, raising an eyebrow.) What's up Eri?
Eri: What are y’all up too today?
Usagi: About to go eat,  why? what's up?
Eri: Rose has the day off, we were wondering if you wanted to hang out.
Usagi: Well, you can join us for breakfast if you want, I can text you the address?
Eri: Sure! See you soon!
Usagi: (Hangs up, putting phone in his pocket, Misaki is staring at him in disbelief). What?
Misaki: It’s just, not even a few months ago, you wanted me all to yourself, and now...
Usagi: (He sighed, pulling Misaki towards him wrapping his arms around his neck). These people are our family, and I always want you to myself. (He chuckled), But we haven’t seen Eri and Rose in a while, I thought it would be nice to invite them out.
Misaki: Remember when you hated people? What happened to that guy? That’s the guy I fell in love with.
Usagi: (Laughs), You’re so full of shit. The guy you fell in love with is the clingy overprotective guy.
Misaki: Yeah, (He scoffed), That guy shows himself to others a lot these days. A lot of people didn’t think you had another side to you.
Usagi: You’re the one who helped  bring out the softer side of me.
Misaki: Ah, I can’t take all the credit.
Usagi: You can, I’d be dead if I hadn’t met you.
Misaki: (He grinned softly kissing Usagi on the lips). Maybe, I know I wouldn’t be graduating if I hadn’t met you. I’d also be really sad.
Usagi: You make me really happy too baby. (He grinned, the two leaning in for a kiss when Mahiro ran in pulling their hands).
Mahiro: LETS GO I’M HUNGRY!!
Usagi: He’s hungry.
Misaki: Yeah. We’re coming, don’t worry.

"Koi No Yokan"
Chapter: 6.
"One Court To Rule Them All"
Tumblr media
Neither the first years nor the second years approached me until and unless there was something they needed from me. I remember Iwaizumi mentioning something along the lines of how intimidating I looked and I was okay with that, as I remembered Aiko saying, "it's a nice look to have on you so the juniors know they can't mess with you" and here nobody except Oikawa tried.
"Ah! Look....here comes Kirei Chan like a breath of fresh air" Oikawa said as he looked up at me, his voice came out in a teasing huff, he was bent over with his hands placed on his knees, breathless from running laps.
The corners of his mouth turned up in a signature smirk that always came out when he was either teasing Iwaizumi or getting a perfect shot.
I narrowed my eyes for a split second after getting caught off-guard before managing to compose a relaxed but formal smile on my face, "happy to help".
I was only very occasionally cocky whenever Oikawa tried messing with me on purpose because for some reason I felt too conscious of Iwaizumi. He was a nice guy and I didn't want oikawa and my occasional banter to hijack the volleyball practice and become the center of everyone's attention.
The third years were pretty chill with the exception of - Oikawa Toru. Oikawa's way of pissing Iwaizumi off in the beginning was flirting with me which I would have to grudgingly admit charmed me to quite an extent but then when it went back to his fangirls, I came to quite a realization, that I was losing my footing.
He was a player with layers of issues that I was only starting to get glimpses off. For me, I was fortunate enough that I was able to downplay most of Oikawa's attempts at…..well, whatever he was trying to pull off. Sometimes, just sometimes it was fun watching Oikawa sizzle like fish on a frying pan whenever I complimented Iwaizumi or Kindaichi.
"That spike was so nice Iwa-san, you look to be in good shape, pretty sure we'll be winning the next one"
"Yup, Iwa-chan wouldn't be doing that without a setter like me"
"yeah right, crappykawa"
Yup, that Boy had not just a raw nerve but a bunch of raw nerves under the cool, charming exterior of an obnoxious prideful player - obnoxious prideful side which I saw more off
During my time as their manager, it wasn't just Iwaizumi and Oikawa taking the center stage, there were others too and I was fortunate enough to learn about them both, on and off court, their personalities reflected their style of playing. Kindaichi - a first year, was quite tall for a first year and a little jittery, eager to do better as one would expect of all first years. His hair though was a highlight, his teammates called him "turnip head" if he missed any of his shots, earning his glare everytime.
The boy had quite an attitude as did all first years
(The third years managed to keep them all in check. Oikawa being the captain was super chill with them, so I don't know, if anyone of them ever tried to test Oikawa's patience if they did...good god bless their souls.)
Yet, Kindaichi was always painfully shy around me, so he didn't really approach me except that one time, where he was trying to reach for something at the exact time I was, that was…awkward.
Then came Shinji Watari, buzz cut with a kind face, first year. He was a nice Chap and I think the least of the troublemakers and one less person Iwaizumi and I had to worry about.
Hanamaki and Matsukawa, Ah! Now, here are two punks who always tried to look like they were the coolest bunch. I don't know which one of Oikawa's fangirls they were trying to Impress.
Kunimi? Never have I come across someone as unbothered but sly as Kunimi, He was just a different species all together
Mad dog was another junior who was as his nickname suggested - hyper, aggressive, "mad dog" but his real name was Kyoutani and if I thought Hanamaki and Matsukawa were punks… they had nothing on him. Kyoutani was Punk™.
Next came Yahaba Shigeru, he had a boyish charm similar to Oikawa's but was more reserved than any of them yet that didn't stop him from being salty about something, anything especially if it were his annoying teammates. Ah! but Yahaba Shigeru's hair was no joke, it was fabulous, me and Manami almost burst out into laughter watching Yahaba prance out onto the court like he was some fabulous life guard of a TV drama but Yahaba's face? It was salty, Yahaba's hair? caramel, and Yahaba Shigeru? salted caramel personified. "m--anamii Chan, p-lease don't title your article as salty life-guard saves the day" I whispered out of breath from laughing quietly.  "ca-aa-n't promise that senpai" replied Manami, also barely keeping her own laughter in check.
And then we had - Oikawa Tooru, himself. Oikawa was built like the ring from Lord of the Rings (-One ring to rule them all) and Iwaizumi one Sam to keep that ring in check.
During the plays, Iwaizumi's movements were quick and rough but Oikawa's surprisingly OR not, looked graceful and sharp, he always looked chill yet on the edge, just one step behind from turning into some sort of a demon. That sense of formidable feeling emitted only from Oikawa and no one else.

Mistakenship
This came to me in a fever dream. Thank @kusunokihime for insisting that I bring it to Tumblr, and for providing the muse Suigin Ryu in Minato’s life.
“Sorry, I can’t stay late today.” Minato was already packing up his paperwork. Thank goodness today hadn’t been too hectic, and he was actually going to finish on time today. If he’d had to tell Ryu they’d have to reschedule again, she might just kill him.
Well, probably not. But she’d be upset – they’d been planning this movie night for weeks now.
“Yeah, I get it.” Takashi winked in Minato’s direction. “Don’t worry, I can finish up here.”
“Uh, thanks.” Minato frowned in confusion but kept packing. If he hustled home, he would have time to change and shower and still be able to get to Ryu’s with time to spare.
“Someone’s eager to get out. Gonna spend the evening with your girlfriend, is it?” Manami asked from the next desk over.
Minato almost dropped the scroll case he was holding. “E-excuse me?”
“The girl with the white hair, whatever her name is.” Manami continued, not looking up even when Takashi bit back a laugh. “You’re going out with her, right?”
“N-no?” Minato managed. He and Ryu hadn’t… they’d not even discussed…
“Oh, I get it.” Takashi grinned, turning back to his work. “Yeah, I wouldn’t admit it either.”
Minato froze. “What’s that supposed to mean?” He asked, voice completely level.
“Well, she’s from some other country, right?” Takashi continued, oblivious, and would have said more if Minato’s shuriken hadn’t pinned his collar to the back of his chair. “Urk!”
“That sort of language is the source of half the problems in the village these days.” Minato continued, still without inflection. “I’d better not hear it again.”
“Uhh… sure thing, Mina.” There was a low murmur of assent as the dozen shinobi who’d turned to look at the thunk of the shuriken voiced their agreement. Minato, however, had already started out the door.
 -:-
“All finished. Here’s the record for ward seven.” Ryu handed the paperwork over with a smile. It had been a good day, nothing untoward had happened, and through the fervent application of effort and making herself scarce whenever she could, Ryu had managed to finish her duties on time.
“Excellent.” The next medic took the record. He was new; Ryu didn’t even know his name yet. “Everything normal with the perforated-”
“Yes, he’s fine.” Ryu was already taking her hair down. She’d scrubbed out and wanted nothing more than to sign out and get home.
“And the guy with the-”
“On new medication, seems to be going fine, it’s in the report.”
“And the-”
“Inspection for tonight, reassess tomorrow morning.”
“And-”
“Trust me, it’s in the notes.” Ryu was all ready to leave for the evening before this new medic looked up.
“I’m sorry, do you have somewhere to be, uh…?”
“Suigin Ryu.” She didn’t ask his name; she’d learn it soon enough, and she was in a hurry. “And yes, I do.”
“That’ll be your boyfriend, huh?” A passing nurse asked from behind Ryu. She froze.
“My… my w-what?”
“The handsome one with the blond hair. Always polite and helpful.” The nurse gave Ryu a knowing look. “He’s a real catch, actually.”
“M… Minato? He’s… he’s not…”
“Uh huh. Sure thing, honey.” The nurse scoffed good-naturedly. She took the record of Ryu’s duties from the speechless medic. “I’ll sort this out, you have fun. See you in the morning.”
“T-thanks. You too!” Ryu managed as she left the hospital with such alacrity as might justify the word ‘fled’.
 -:-
Minato, now in a t-shirt and jeans rather than his shinobi gear, was still thinking about the implications of earlier when he knocked on Ryu’s apartment. Did it really seem like she and he were…?
The door opened to Ryu, in similar civilian clothing. “Hey, Minato. You’re early!”
“I got out of work faster than anticipated.” He smiled and held up a shopping bag. “I brought food!”
Ryu smiled broadly. “Awesome! It’s been a long day, I really didn’t want to cook…”
“I hear that.” Minato followed Ryu into the apartment’s living space, which was best described as ‘cosy’. It was dominated by a television in one corner that had been an absolute bargain, and a blanket fortress that would provide a perfect place to sit, watch mind-numbing movies, and eat dinner in.
“How was your day? Same as usual?” Minato asked, kicking off his shoes.
“Yeah, pretty uneventful. Yours?”
“Same.” He hesitated. “Something odd did happen as I was leaving, I guess.”
“Oh? Y-yeah, same here, actually.”
That made Minato look over to Ryu in concern. If the village miscreants had been making trouble again… he probably didn’t need to do anything, really, but still. “Nothing bad, right?”
“Oh no, no. What was your thing?” Ryu looked… embarrassed?
Minato mentally shrugged and continued. “Well, as I was leaving someone said something that… made me think I was missing something, I guess. Like when you can’t see something obvious, and you’re the only person in the room who missed it?” Or one of two people.
“I bet that doesn’t happen to you very often.” Ryu snorted, grabbing plates for the food Minato had brought. “What was it?”
“Manami – you’ve not met her, I think? – Manami… she didn’t ask, but she said something that implied she thought we were… going out.” Minato said, trying to keep his voice at an even speed rather than hesitating and rushing in turn.
There came a crash from the kitchen as one of the plates slipped from Ryu’s grasp.
“You okay in there?” Minato stuck his head round the door to see Ryu’s shocked expression. “Ryu? Talk to me.”
“Uhh.” Ryu recovered a moment later, setting down the other plate so she didn’t drop that one and casting around for a dustpan and brush. “That was unexpected.”
“Yeah, that’s what I thought.” Minato didn’t elaborate but knelt down to help clean up the broken plate.
“No, I mean that’s basically what happened with me. One of the nurses…” Ryu, going a warm shade of pink, couldn’t meet Minato’s eyes. “She said pretty much the same. That you were quite the catch.”
Minato snorted, almost dropping a piece of plate for the second time. “Did she now?”
“Mhm.” There were a few minutes of quiet as they cleaned up the shattered plate. When they eventually returned to the blanket fortress, food in hand, they both hesitated.
“Look, Ryu.” Minato put his food down on the sofa, which had been stripped of cushions to build the fort. “I don’t wanna make things uncomfortable, but…”
“You’ve been thinking about… it.” Ryu finished, putting her food next to his. “Weighs surprisingly heavy on the mind, doesn’t it?”
“It does.” Minato took a deep breath. “And as much as I hate to just acquiesce to popular opinion...”
Ryu didn’t finish that one for him, just gave him a look that was half expectant and half trepidation.
Someone’s gotta say it. “… Will you be my girlfriend? For real?”
There was a pause that might have been a second or might have been a thousand years.
“Yeah. Yeah, I will.”

Summary: Amu Hinamori is considered by many to be "cool and spicy", and as such she comes off as unapproachable. What they don't know is that they couldn't be further from the truth, though there is one person who begins to take notice of the seemingly aloof pinkette.  (College AU)
Disclaimer: I don’t own Shugo Chara or any of the characters. (I also know no body cares about SC anymore but here I am so please at least give this a shot)
Amu Hinamori, for the most part, was a fairly average person. She completed her schoolwork on time, worked part time in a bakery with her cousin, ran in the mornings around campus, and occasionally sat in the park to draw. Many of her classmates considered her to have a "cool and spicy" personality. Though they couldn't be further from the truth, as on the inside Amu was incredibly anxious about doing and saying the wrong things. Being reserved by nature and having a constant stoic expression don't help dissuade those views of her either unfortunately no matter how hard she tried.
"Hey did you hear about the new store that popped up?" Amu overheard Manami ask Wakana and another girl the latter two were hanging out with from behind her; subconsciously the aloof woman slowed her pace so as to better hear the conversation.
"Yeah! It looked really cute! We should stop by there before going back to the dorm." Wakana eagerly replied before continuing in a softer tone, "Should we invite Hinamori-san?"
"No way!" Manami hurried out in a hushed tone, "She's way too cool for a place like that, I'd hate to get laughed at."
"Yeah.. you're right." Wakana sounded dejected and that's when Amu decided to stop eavesdropping.
As she changed direction to the library she couldn't help but think how much she hated when things like that happened, of course her outer personality just had to ruin things for her! It was honestly tiring putting up a front like this all the time, but the pinkette didn't know how else to be. Her persona was born from a need to act like the tough older sister and somewhere along the way it stuck, now it felt like it was too late to change. Even her own family didn't know what she was really like, though she couldn't really blame them. Now that she was in college it was even harder to show them her true self, unfortunately with schoolwork and her job she only ever saw them on holiday's and birthdays.
A sigh escaped the woman's lips as she pulled out her text books, getting an early start on her essay that wasn't due till next month. Amu had always done well in school, with no friends to hang out with after school and only occasional baby sitting duty, there was really no excuse to fail. So she did what she always did to distract herself, and studied, popping in headphones to help her concentrate, and hitting the play button to listen to Utau Hoshina's latest song. Her younger sister Ami loved Utau when they were growing up and constantly went with Amu to see the blonde sing live. They had even met the singer twice when Amu had saved up enough to get them Meet & Greet passes, Ami was so happy when Amu told her the news both times. A smile found it's way onto the pinkette's face at the memory as she began to hum quietly along to the song and write down information she could use in her paper.
Before she knew it the sky was beginning to get dark and the librarian was rushing her out. The September air was chilly and Amu had to pull her cardigan tighter around herself as she started the walk back to her dorm room. She thinks she really should have brought a coat with her this morning, although she wasn't expecting to be out so late. There's a rustling in the bushes that caused her to stop and tense up; now Amu would never admit it, but she was actually a really paranoid person. She blames it on all the scary stories the girls from elementary school used to say to psyche each other out, though she tries not to think about any of those tall tales right now as she takes a deep breath. From next to her she heard a small meow, a sound that nearly caused her to jump right out of her skin. With a hand on her heart in an attempt to calm down, she looked to the left where the sound came from, and saw a small black cat with large yellow eyes peering up at her.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack," She grumpily told the cat whilst reaching her hand out for it to sniff. "What're you doing out so late?" She questioned as it leaned into her touch.
As she petted the cat she managed to lift it's head up slowly so as to get a better look at the collar.
"Yoru, huh? What a cool name." Amu proclaimed, his yellow orbs stared into her own amber eyes before closing slightly with contentedness.
"Well, I better get going." With that she gave Yoru one final pat on the head, "Do you need help getting back home?"
The cat seemed like he was sizing her up and for a split second she was convinced he might answer. Though he simply got up and turned away, wandering off towards the boy's dorms. The pinkette watched the cat for a couple seconds more, before she continued on her way. Thankfully the walk from the library to her dorms was short because she was exhausted, it'd been a long day of being her outer persona and right now she just wanted to curl up in bed and warm up with some hot tea. Suddenly, it felt like she was being watched, and the pinkette felt the hairs on her arm stand. Amu couldn't help tensing up as her mind raced with all the possibilities of something out there watching her, waiting to kill her. With a shake of her head and a deep breath, she glanced over her shoulder, and relaxed slightly when she didn't see anyone. She was just being silly again, letting her anxiety get the better of her, so she turned to face forward, and made her way to the dormitory. And if she walked back faster than she normally would, well there was nobody around to call her out on it (at least nobody she noticed anyway).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        Amu was seriously beginning to wonder if this cat really had a home, despite the fact that he had a collar, she just wasn't convinced. This was the fourth time in two weeks she'd seen him upon leaving the library, and she'd taken to carrying treats on her person. Sure, cats were known to be practically self-sufficient creatures, but wasn't dangerous to let them be outside all the time? What if he got run over? Or even worse, what if poor Yoru got snatched up by a hawk?! That would be terrible! If she ever met the owner, she'd be sure to give them a talking to! She knows she would be devastated if anything ever happened to her guinea pigs, luckily she had her parents to thank for watching over them.
"I thought we weren't allowed to have pets on campus," Amu wondered aloud as she knelt down to scratch behind the black cats ears, "You should get back home before the campus guards find out and take you away."
"I doubt that'll happen." A cool, masculine voice spoke behind her, causing the woman to shriek and jump up, clutching her heart. The pinkette turned around carefully and took in the much taller man; he dressed in dark, gothic clothing, had dark hair and piercing blue eyes.
"And why is that?" She narrowed her eyes at the man who sneaked up on her as she tried in vain to calm her panicked heart.
"Because he's a smart cat, Yoru always knows whenever a guard is nearby." He told her in a matter of fact way that had Amu believing that the cat belonged to him.
"You know, you should keep a better eye on your cat, a hawk could come and snatch him away." She scolded.
"Hawks?" He asked in disbelief, "At this time of night? Besides, we're not nearly close enough to any mountains for that."
Amu can felt her cheeks heating up in embarrassment and scoffed before turning away from the man, "Whatever, just don't come crying to me if he ever gets snatched up."
        The pink haired woman neglected to wait for a response and simply started to walk back to her dorm. After about a minute, he caught up to her and spoke in the same scolding manner she took with him earlier.
"You know," He started, clearly teasing, "It isn't wise for you to be out so late by yourself."
"Oh really?" Her eyebrow twitches in annoyance and she can feel a headache coming on, "I can take care of myself thank you very much."
"Of that I have no doubt." She could practically feel the smile in his voice and resolutely avoided looking at him as he continued to walk with her.
"Do you always study this late?" He questioned after a minute of no response from her.
"No. Sometime's I go to work." She didn't know why she mentioned this, or why she's even still talking to him.
"Oh you work at the Hinamori Patissiere right?" At this Amu stopped walking and shot the man a bewildered look that has him quickly continuing, "I stop by sometimes, and when I saw you petting Yoru I thought you looked familiar."
"Um, yeah I do." She started before shaking her head and apologizing, "Sorry, I didn't recognize you at first." To be honest she still didn't him despite trying to place him in her head; though she idly wondered if he could be a stalker, and opted not to continue walking to her dorm lest he come murder her in the middle of the night.
        He shrugs in a sort of nonchalant way before bending down to pick up Yoru, and Amu was surprised to have forgotten the cats presence. When neither party decided to continue the conversation and the golden-eyed woman neglected to continue on her way, the tall man chose to leave first.
"See you later bakery girl." He said with a wave of his hand as he walks off in the direction of the boys dorms.
"Keep a better eye on that cat!" She called out to his retreating form, and waited a good moment before she felt safe enough to head to her own dorm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Despite having been in college for a while now, Amu still didn't quite know what she wanted to do with her life. So far she's been taking all the required courses, but the semester would be ending soon and she would need to decide on a career path. And as much as she enjoyed drawing, she just couldn't see herself making a career out of it. When she was younger she wanted to be a cake decorator, but upon growing she realized what a foolish dream that was, so she abandoned it somewhere in fourth or fifth grade. She just wasn't as talented as Shuu was, despite learning almost everything she knew about baking from him. With a sigh (she's found herself doing that a lot lately), Amu headed off in the direction of her next class. Funny enough, it was a cooking class. Though Amu prided herself on being a decent baker, for whatever reason cooking just didn't come as naturally to her.
"Alright class," Spoke the teacher in a syrupy sweet voice, "Today I want you to work in groups of two to come up with your own unique flavor of Mochi. Whether you want to make Daifuku, the Hanabira, or ice cream variety is up to you. All I ask is that you get creative with it! And yes you are allowed to choose your own partners, but if I see you goofing off I will not hesitate to separate you. Now get to work!"
Amu has always hated working in groups, and unfortunately this class provided more than enough opportunities to get the students to work together. Thankfully, however, there was one person who the pinkette got along with, and he seemed to be thinking the same thing as he slid into the seat next to her.
"Partners?" He questioned even though Amu was sure he knew the answer by now.
"Partners." She agreed as she took two aprons off the hook and handed one to Nagihiko's outstretched hand. "What kind of Mochi were you thinking we should make?"
"How about Ichigo Daifuku?" He questioned and Amu felt exasperated.
"Always the overachiever huh?" Regardless she gathered the necessary ingredients.
"Of course, I doubt anyone else is thinking about using strawberries anyway."
"Well yeah, that's because strawberry isn't a 'creative' flavor."
"Oh yeah, and what would you suggest adding to make it more creative?"
"We could always add some yuzu peels?" As Nagihiko gave he a curious look, Amu found herself in a rush to take back her words, "Of maybe not, we could just add the some Macha-"
"No, it's a great idea!" He reassured, "Are you sure you came up with it?"
With an affronted gasp and a shove to the table, the pink haired woman can feel herself loosening up. While the only time she interacted with the long haired man was in this class, she found herself enjoying his company and wished they could hang out more. Of course Nagihiko was a busy person, what with his main focus being on his Master of Fine Arts in Dance degree. Apparently he wanted to be a famous dancer, and then a dance teacher. Amu thought he was the coolest person she knew, even when Nagihiko was Nadeshiko, they were still cooler than her.
Before she met Nagihiko, she never knew that some people could be more than one gender, and he opened up her previously closed eyes. Thankfully Nagihiko had a system, and would were a necklace with a blue bead for when he felt more like a guy, and would switch out the bead for a pink one for when he felt more like a girl. Right now he was dressed in what he called his "boy clothes" and had a blue bead on. It wasn't too confusing for Amu to understand and though she didn't often get the chance to tell him, she admired him greatly. He was more honest with himself than she could ever be. With a sad sigh, Amu refocused her thoughts onto the task at hand.
"You seem to have something on your mind today." Nagihiko told her, and looked at her expectantly.
"Just thinking about midterms coming up." She lied easily through her teeth as she washed the strawberries and yuzus.
"Considering how often I see you in the library, I don't think you have anything to worry about." Although he spoke in a comforting tone, it was clear that he didn't believe her earlier fib.
She simply shrugged in response before setting both fruits into on of the bowls, and moved over to their table. As she pat the strawberries dry with a paper towel it felt like Nagihiko's brown eyes were staring into her soul. In an effort to ignore the effect his piercing gaze had on her, she resolutely focused on carefully removing the leaves of the strawberries. Nagihiko could be really persuasive when he wanted to be, but Amu felt too embarrassed to tell him the truth. As close as it seemed like they were, this was probably the only class they would ever have together, and after this they would never speak again.
"Do you have plans after class?" He asked, effectively causing her to loose her train of thought.
"What?" She questioned and wondered for a brief second if he could read minds.
"Are you busy after this?" He repeats as he mixed the mochiko, sugar, and salt.
"No," She informed him as she refocused on her own task, "Why?"
"Some of my friends from middle school and I are all getting together after this to catch up, you should join us."
"I wouldn't want to be a bother." To be honest, Amu had actually known Nagihiko in middle school. Though they never spoke and only ever had one class together in their entire time at being in the same school. Nagihiko was apart of the student council back then and Amu had a fairly good idea about which friends he was talking about.
"I wouldn't have invited you if I thought you'd be a bother." He expressed, and Amu felt her resolve shattering.
"Only if you're sure they wouldn't mind." She paused in her pasting of the anko onto the strawberry as she waited for his reply.
"Of course they wouldn't."
"Then... I'd like that a lot. Thanks."
His eyes are on her again and she can feel as a blush rose to her cheeks that she tried valiantly to fight down. Though nervous at the prospect of seeing her middle school crush and the rest of the student council, she couldn't help but feel excited at being invited out. She was so lost in her thoughts as always that she failed to notice the small, contended smile that graced her features. Nagihiko noticed, however, and stowed it away in his brain for later. A part of him wished he'd tried to be friends with her sooner, back when they were 11, he wondered if he could make up for that now. Amu reminded him a lot of his girlfriend Rima at times, and was because of this that he was trying harder to be there for his pink haired classmate. He was sure she would be a life long friend, if she would only let down her guard more often.

[ 365 Days of SasuHina || Day Three Hundred Thirty-Four: Street People ] [ Uchiha Sasuke, Hyūga Hinata ] [ SasuHina, homelessness, blindness ] [ Verse: Best Years of Your Life ] [ AO3 Link ]
They met quite by accident.
After the death of his parents and the disappearance of his brother, Sasuke was tossed from family member to family member. But wherever he went, ill luck seemed to follow.
The final straw was his aunt - his mother’s sister - facing a rather sudden death. Her son, Shisui, was already in college several states away when she took Sasuke in at the age of fifteen. For months, things seemed...normal. Manami had claimed she didn’t believe in superstitions like so many others in their family. According to her, they’d always been a magnet for misfortune.
But not long after his sixteenth birthday...Sasuke lost the last safe harbor he’d been afforded. After military service that took her leg, raising a son by herself, and mourning the death of her younger sister...Manami was killed ever so simply in a car wreck.
...she wasn’t even driving. A pedestrian struck on the sidewalk by a drunk driver. Her lacking limb meant she was too slow.
...too slow.
Sasuke found himself with nowhere else to go. Shisui couldn’t take him, and Sasuke refused his apologies.
“I’m not your responsibility. Don’t give up on your future for my sake. Don’t quite school. I’ll figure something out.”
‘Something’ turned out to be couch surfing for a while. But that was soon given up when his dropping out of highschool soured his reputation to many a parent of many a friend.
And so...Sasuke was officially homeless.
Shisui, refusing to do nothing, had given Sasuke his car, claiming he was getting by in the big city without it. It was his only home, a place he could sleep, live, and travel in.
...but that didn’t change the fact that he was alone.
He worked odd jobs as best he could, but few wanted him around. A high school dropout, homeless, and with a bit of an attitude...he wasn’t exactly prime worker material.
Lounging in his car one night, he tried his best to think up some way to make money. He just needed enough to scrape by. Once he turned eighteen, he was sure, he could try to get his GED. Try to start putting pieces of a life back together. And Shisui would be back to help him out. But at the moment...he was stuck.
...and then it hit him.
Literally.
Rolling over in the back seat, he gave a cry and a curse as something along the rear dash tumbled off and clunk him on the head. Scowling and rubbing at the sore spot, he spotted one of the few things he’d managed to keep with him.
His guitar.
...of course…!
The next morning, he found a decent parking lot in a grocery store nearby one of his hometown’s parks. Locking the cart and jogging across a few intersections, he found a bench sat along a fountain. Sighing to steady his nerves, he placed a cap on the ground before him...and started to play.
Admittedly, he was a little rusty - he hadn’t picked the thing up since Manami died. But he knew quite a few tunes, and after a while to warm up...was actually doing pretty well. A few people stopped to listen, some even coming up to throw a few spare coins or bills in his hat, which earned them sheepish, grateful smiles.
And that’s when she showed up.
Drawn by the music, a girl his age carefully maneuvered through the crowd, stopping at the rim of people and listening. This guy was actually pretty good, she couldn’t help but think.
And then he started playing a song she knew...and it was her turn to have an idea. Cane in hand as she carefully guided herself to the edge of the fountain, Hinata sat along the lip...and began to sing along.
Startled, Sasuke had actually fumbled a few notes, looking to his unexpected companion and earning amused laughter from his little crowd. She was angled away from him, just...sitting there singing.
And honestly? She was...really good!
Gawking at her a moment longer, Sasuke eventually reverted his focus, finishing up the song and earning applause. Several people came forward and dropped money, and guilt quickly bloomed in his gut. Scooping up the hat and muttering thanks, he approached the girl, still sitting along the fountain’s edge.
“Hey, uh…” How to address this… “Look, you obviously earned some of this. You want a few bucks?”
“Oh, no - I’m fine. I...I hope I didn’t interrupt…?”
“No! Actually I think that really helped,” he admitted, spare hand itching his neck. Watching her, he realized she wasn’t looking at him, instead staring a bit over his shoulder with oddly-pale eyes.
...wait a minute…
Glancing to her side, he saw the telltale white cane. And then it all fit together.
“Are...are you blind?”
As soon as he blurted it, he went red in embarrassment. That was so rude, he did not just do that...!
“I-I mean -?”
But she just laughed. “I am. And d-don’t worry, I get that a lot. I have minimum vision - I can perceive s-some light, but...otherwise, I’m unable to see most things. Hence the cane.”
“...wow. Uh...I’ve never met someone blind before.” Thus he...really had no idea how to react. “...you...you sing really well.”
“Thank you. I took choir when I was in school.”
Sasuke’s brow furrowed. But she looked his age… “...have you already graduated?”
“No...I had to quit. I...ran away from home a few months ago. For a while I stayed with a friend, but...it didn’t, um...d-didn’t work out. So now I’m doing this solo.”
“Blind?!”
Another laugh. “Well...so far it’s actually h-helped. People tend to be pretty sympathetic. But...it’s still difficult, yes.”
Sasuke scrambled to think of something - someone like her shouldn’t be navigating all of this alone! “W-well...I have a car! If...you need someplace to crash, I’d be fine with it. I can’t just leave you by yourself. That’s not right.”
Her lips curled in a somber smile. “Taking pity on me?”
“N-no, I just -!”
“I’m just teasing you. May I...ask you your name?”
“...Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha.”
“I’m Hinata Hyūga. Nice to meet you.”
A bit of an awkward silence bloomed.
“...y’know, I...was serious. If you need someplace to go -?”
“I’m sure you’re crowded enough, but I appreciate it.”
“No, really. I can’t just walk away. My mom would kill me. Just…” A nervous hand ran back through his hair...and then he asked, “...what if we just...did this together?”
“What?”
“Y’know...all this. And the performing. I’ve only been here an hour but there’s at least twenty bucks in here. If we, y’know...pooled our talents, I bet we’d do even better. Maybe even make enough to scrape by. And that way neither of us have to go it alone.”
Hearing he was serious, Hinata hesitated. “...you really...want to help me?”
“Hell yeah I do. I know it’d work. We can at least try it today. See what happens. Either way, I’ll buy you some dinner for your help if you decide to leave. How about it?”
Milky eyes blinked, clearly taken aback. “...all right. Let’s try it…!”
And so, they put their heads together, plotting out songs they both knew. The rest of the afternoon was spent doing slightly-shaky duets, Sasuke filling in gaps to let Hinata’s voice rest.
By the end of the day...they’d made over a hundred dollars.
“Man, this is the way to do it!” Sasuke couldn’t help but whoop. “Here, this is your half...want to go get something to eat?”
“Oh, yes please...I’m s-starving!”
One round of fast food later, they made their way back to Sasuke’s car. “Well...it’s not much, but for now, it’s home.”
“I’d be happy to see it,” Hinata lightly joked. Carefully, she felt her way into the passenger seat. “...well, I suppose I’ve broken my promise to Father about g-getting into a car with strangers.”
Sitting in the driver’s side, Sasuke just snorted.
“So you sleep in here…?”
“Yeah. That’s about the only time I’m in it, honestly. Move it when I have to, but otherwise I’m out and about trying to scrounge up money. Food. A shower. Stuff like that. I’ve managed okay so far.”
“...may I ask...w-why you’re homeless?”
“Lost my parents when I was seven. Was traded around by family, but...weird stuff kept happening. Last straw was my aunt dying in a car accident. Hit by a drunk driver.”
“Oh no…”
“My cousin’s away at college, said I could have his car. Took some finagling to get it in my name, and paying for gas and insurance makes things hard, but...so far, so okay. Shisui - my cousin - says he’ll come back and let me room with him once he finished up school. He’s going for his masters right now. Another year or so and he’ll be back.”
“Wow…”
“...what about you? You said you ran away…?”
Hinata gave a small nod. “...my father has always been strict, but...the older I got, the worse his treatment of me became. He treated my condition as a burden. I wasn’t the p-perfect daughter he wanted. A friend offered to let me stay with her, so I left...but her parents ended up saying I couldn’t stay. I’ve stayed in a shelter most of the time since. But, um...it’s not ideal.”
“Neither is living in a car.”
“No...but I guess n-none of this is easy. Being street people, I mean. I could go back to the shelter, but…” She seemed to dim. “...it can be...unpleasant.”
“...well, my offer still stands. It’s not grand, but it’s something. I bet we can make enough to get by pretty easy, between the two of us. And we wouldn’t be alone.”
Absently, Hinata slowly turned her cane in her grip, thinking. “...all right. I-I’ll stay.”
“Just until my cousin comes back. Then you can bunk with us.”
“B-but -?!”
“The way I see it, we’re friends now,” Sasuke replied airily, clearly ignoring her refusal. “And as your friend, I’ll just have to let you couch surf...once I’ve got a couch. But couches aren’t good for sleeping, so...it’ll just have to be a bed. Then you and I can catch up on studies, get a GED, and then...go from there. Until then, we give the folks a little song and dance for our dinner, huh?”
After a pause, Hinata just giggled softly. “...all right. It’s a deal.”
                                                          .oOo.
So this is...very random. While the term 'street people' doesn't HAVE to refer to homeless people, it's the most typical example. I've had friends go through homelessness before, but know very little about it personally, so I didn't want to come off as either glorifying or ignorant. Hopefully I managed that much ^^;      Anyway, uh...not sure how to really extrapolate about this one. I likely got a lot wrong, lol - but I tried. I just like the thought of them pairing up and helping each other out, using their talents to scrape by until they can (hopefully) get a second chance. Probably won't continue this one, but it was neat, I guess!      But it's late, I'm very tired, and I better get to bed, so I'll leave it there. Thanks for reading!

📣 Takashi/Ichiro, 🎉 Emile/Kaoru, 🎃 Yoko/Killian, 💢 Tori/Naoki :3
Thank you for sending these in!! I love it all omg
📣 - yell at my muse.
Yesterday, Manami came in to Takashi’s room and talked to him about how she was able to be “friends” with another Eizan and her brother felt conflicted on how to respond to this. He always warned her about them, but she’d always tell him that they were only misunderstood and she never followed what he said. She may have been one of the nicest people in the planet- but this made it an easier target for the Eizans if they were planning something.
Takashi didn’t feel like meeting any of them so he decided to avoid them at all cost. He didn’t go inside the Elite Ten room even once today, and he didn’t even bother in going to places where he believed Shigeo would be. He was too busy thinking about his sister and the chances of her being mistreated by an Eizan- and he didn’t want to see them at the moment.
However, he forgot that one of them always did whatever he wanted as he was a delinquent. It was the end of school and he spotted a male with glasses on the streets, screaming at some students he recognized. Takashi mentally slapped himself. “Alright Takashi, this isn’t your problem… wHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT YOU’RE THEIR UPPERCLASSMEN! YOU GOTTA DO SOMETHING!”
He snapped out of his thoughts and walked over to the group. “Hey Volcano-Head, are you erupting again for the dumbest reason called nothing again?” Takashi playfully asked, even having a little smirk on his face. If it was his time to bring out insults- he always acted calm. He gestured for his underclassmen to leave the place and they began running away.
Ichiro began to twitch. “What the fuck did you just call me, runt?!” He yelled at the blonde, angered at the fact he decided to insult him the moment he spoke. “I can punch your face right now so I can make you shut the fuck up!” He hissed at the male and Takashi moved backwards, raising his hands in the air.
“Oh we have a badbutt over here.” He said these words in a very mocking way. “I swear to Zeus and to all the divine beings above- do you actually think a punch will scare me, Volcano head?!” He scream back, a bit irritated by the nicknames he was given. Seriously, should it always be about his height?! “ven my neighbor’s Pomeranian can scare me more!”
“Of course you’ll be scared of that dog, it’s probably because that dog matches your height, you bitch!” He threw another insult at Takashi and Takashi began clenching his fists in anger. “That dog probably thinks you’re a match to it because of you’re as tiny as it!”
“Well, if you met that dog, it’ll probably think you’re one of its kind because you’re a pancake bitch!” Takashi countered. “Oh wait. Oops. You know, gotta make the pun because female dog but… I meant you’re a pancake Medusa!” He went back to insulting and Ichiro’s face began getting red.
“You fucker-!”
There were a couple of people seen watching the two fight, and one of them was Takashi’s brother who was already going to the place to pull his brother back.
🎉 - celebrate with my muse.
No person who was surprised the moment someone knocked the door three times then opened it. A male who held his guitar with a bright smile on his face came in, looking excited. “Hello! I brought my guitar for the celebration!” He said excitedly, and a person pushed the person out of the way to see Emile.
“Hey there, Guitar Hero! I’m glad you came!” It was no other than Kaoru, a person who considered the visitor as one of his closest friends. “Here to celebrate with us?” He grinned, showing the same amount of excitement as the person who just came. The person who was pushed grumbled before slapping the back of Kaoru harshly. “Ow! Oh right, sorry Tatsuya-senpai!”
“Yeah. Whatever.”
Emile began laughing slightly, already used to the fun interaction between the dorm mates. “Of course I’d come! I can’t miss a celebration with mi amigo!” He was walking inside and he began closing the door behind him. “I also want to know the details... What is the celebration?” Even if he was invited, he was never informed on why they were celebrating.
“It’s a small celebration because one of my lovely dorm mates got to pass her exams so she won’t get expelled.” He informed him. “I wanted to ask if you could play your guitar as I sing so we could make the day brighter! Because, y’know- A great guitarist and a pretty good singer always makes a day better.”
“I’m so down to do that!” He responded and he went to the usual place he sat on. “Just name the song and I’ll happily play it!” Even if he wasn’t part of the dorm- he always felt a part of them because of how they acted around him. It was as if he was one of the people who actually stayed there and he felt so happy. It was even better that they acted like an audience to a musician.
“Thanks a lot, Guitar Hero! Can’t make the day as special without you!” The male from the dorm grinned and sat beside Emile. “Even your personality makes the day better, damn! You’re so amazing that you’re able to do so much things by your presence alone!”
The person who was deemed as a “Guitar Hero” by Kaoru felt his heart warm up and he couldn’t control the smile that was forming on his lips. “Thank you so much-! I really appreciate all your words, mi amigo!” He thanked the male and be started to strum his guitar. “So... what is the perfect song to start this celebration?”
🎃 - attempt to scare my muse.
The whole house was dark and this really confused the ginger haired male. Was the power out? He decided to try and look for the generator to see if there was a problem with it. The problem was... he couldn’t really see a thing. It felt like he was in a horror movie... Maybe it was one of those days where he loved his interest in the horror genre- at least he would know what to do when the worst things happen.
He was moving around the house aimlessly, but he was able to memorize the area of the house by now. He felt so relieved that he was able to remember where the flashlight was located or else he’d be doomed in a situation like this. He got the flashlight from the drawer and pulled it out of the drawer. “There we go.” He says this to himself before he turns it on.
If he had one wish right now, it would be that there was no serial killer in his house. He’d rather meet a ghost then a man with a knife. It wasn’t because he couldn’t defend himself- trust me, he could. But it was because if anyone were to die from them inside the house- the owner of the house might be scarred for life and he didn’t want that.
He continued to search for the generation but he felt something moving on the ground and he ended up flashing the light on the direction where he heard the crawling. “In times like this, you shouldn’t panic or else you’d be dead.” He mumbled and before he continued to walk- he felt his heart stop the moment someone grabbed him from behind as red orbs sparked from the dark.
“Do you want to play~?” The voice was high in pitch, and it sounded much too happy to feel comfortable. A giggle came from the person behind him and Killian only paused for a minute before he turned off the flashlight. Even if he had to experience such a scary encounter, he was still clever.
“Yoko. Did you actually get a voice changer?” That was the only thing he says before he held the arms wrapping around him. “And attempt to scare me with it?” He asked once again and she only released him so he could turn on the generator. Once the lights was on, he saw the female pouting slightly.
“Hm. I actually thought that would get you.” Yoko opened her eyes before grinning. “But I guess you’re too smart to be scared~!” She walked to him before poking his cheek. “Your heart stopped for a moment, but after a few seconds, you were hardly even scared.”
Killian sighed out of relief. “I’m just happy that it’s just you... However, if it weren’t me and you did this- I do think they’d be terrified out of their lives.” He explains and Yoko laughs happily.
“Will they? Now I have new idea for my next CreepyPasta story!”
“Did... Did you make me a test subject to know if your idea is believable?”
“That and I wanted to see if I could actually scare you!”
“Well... At least I helped you in some way.”
💢 - snarl/growl at my muse.
It wasn’t the perfect day to meet Tori. She was in a bad mood because this morning, Daiki decided to annoy her to death. When she finally arrived in school, she had to meet Ichiro who never gave her a break from being angry. The day was horrible and no one could blame her for her bad mood. She didn’t want to see any nuisance for the rest of the day...
But maybe fate didn’t allow this to happen. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Naoki in the opposite direction, looking at her with a smirk on his face. God, what did she do to deserve this? “Tori Isshiki. A pleasant seeing you here.” Naoki was a bit tolerable to her- until he speaks more than just those lines. “I didn’t expect to see you here, are you not trying to improve your skills and decided to roam around instead?”
Tori immediately growled at his comment. Did he actually think it was the words she was looking for now? Did he think that she wanted to hear those words from someone like him?! He was wrong. “What was that, Eizan? I couldn’t hear your bullshittery.” She wasn’t having any of this. Not today. Not ever.
Naoki’s evil smirk remained on his face and he only ended up chuckling. “Maybe you just couldn’t hear the truth.” He stated this before he continued to talk. “I would have expected you to be back in your dorm or cooking elsewhere so you could prove to everyone that you’re better than any of the Eizans.”
Tori didn’t hold back any of her anger, tired of all his insults. “Of course I’m better than any of you! A lot of you are just pieces of shit who can’t do anything but talk about nonsense!” She snapped at him and Naoki began glaring. “Thinking about insults and doing all the barks so everyone could hear- all of you are no bite at all! It’s fucking annoying!”
The two were now having a dark aura and their death glares were aimed at each other. “How rude. Actually thinking that of us. Miss Isshiki, I hope you know well that we could do much more things than you actually imagine. You just never get to see that because you’re too much of a coward to actually risk something.”
She had enough of this and she only walked pass him, even shoving him away from her. “Die.” She mumbles, even looking behind her for a moment. “And if you do think I’m a coward I want to tell you I’m not. I’m ready to face you in a shkugeki any day.” With this, she walked away while ignoring everything the male added to their conversation.

“I’m late.” this one is Manami's very essence. Manami/Toudou?
For the first time in his life, Manami makes an attempt to get somewhere on time.
Of course, this makes it all too fitting when he fails to reach his destination on time and he grits his teeth as he does his best to cut through traffic on his bicycle. Toudou is going to be furious; Manami can already tell that without having to be within fifty meters of him, and he highly doubts Toudou is going to believe him when he tries to explain that he had left right on time and traffic had gotten the better of him. He should have known better than to trust a car.
“I’ll just have to pick the car up after we’re done,” he murmurs to himself, winding between cars as quickly as he can. He had left it on the street when he realized it was slowing him down.
Toudou is going to be furious with him. Everyone would probably be; he can almost imagine them taking bets on how late he’s going to be or if he’s even going to show up at this point. More than once, he had skipped an appointment, or just missed it because he fell asleep and came too late to make it up. He should have expected something like this would happen the one day that he endeavors to make it somewhere important on time.
His bike skids and he almost hits the ground, then kicks himself up at the last second.
“I’m sorry, Toudou,” he hisses under his breath, shifting gears and breathing a sigh of relief when he finally cuts through enough traffic to hit the open road up the mountain. Less traffic here, easier to navigate, and he knows mountains too well. “But I’m on my way, I swear.”
He should have stopped to call Toudou, or anyone really, and tell them he was on his way, but the last thing he wants to do right now is lose time and be even later.
The climb for him is usually enjoyable and he smiles now, but only a little, and focuses more on shifting gears as needed, on waiting for the air that propels him forward, the wings that give him the little bursts of speed he needs to ride with nature. Later, maybe, they can take a ride together and enjoy it all they want, but right now he needs to make it to Toudou’s side and probably receive the verbal lashing of a lifetime. He definitely deserves it now.
“Almost, almost,” he murmurs. “I can’t be more than a few minutes away now.”
He pushes himself probably harder than he should, and he’s definitely going to end up sweating through his shirt at this point, but at least he took the jacket off before he ruined that, too.
As soon as he hits the parking lot of the small church, a hand grabs him by the back of his shirt and yanks him off of his bike, startling a yelp out of him. “I want to say that I can’t believe you were late to your own wedding, but this is something that you would do.”
“I didn’t try to be late,” Manami whines. “Fukutomi-san, tell me he’s not as mad as I think he is.”
Fukutomi gives him a stern look and shakes his head, then pulls Manami toward the doors, stopping only so Manami can slip his arms back into the jacket. He’s lucky that there was so little traffic and the wind has not been too intense today because otherwise he would have ruined the entire tux, and he knows that being late is already pushing it more than a little too far. Maybe he should have just let someone else drive him, or take the advice Shinkai had given him about coming early and just wasting time around the church rather than be late.
“He was only mad for the first hour,” Fukutomi tells him, “but now he’s crying in the back.”
The words make Manami skid to a stop just inside of the store, and he tries his very hardest to ignore the way the guests turn around to look at him, swallowing hard around the knot in his throat. “What do you mean he’s crying? What happened? What’s wrong?”
A heavy hand drops down on his shoulder and he turns to see Arakita’s pissed off face right in front of his own. “He thought you weren’t coming, dumbass! You made him wait for hours.”
Shinkai sighs and grabs him by the back of the neck, pulling him back and putting some distance between them. “Stop it, Yasutomo, you’re only going to get him confused and freaked out. Manami, Toudou started to think you had decided you didn’t want to marry him because you made him wait for so long, so he got upset and locked himself in the back with Makishima.”
The thought of Toudou crying over such a thing makes Manami’s stomach hurt, and he immediately shakes his head, pushing through his senpai. “That’s not so at all! There was traffic and I got caught up in it. I even ditched the car to try to get here faster.”
“You didn’t call any of us to tell us what was going on and Toudou had been trying to get a hold of you as soon as he realized you were going to be late,” Arakita snaps.
Manami knows the layout of the church; Toudou had wanted to go over every square inch of every possible venue before he decided on one. So he knows where the back is and finds himself in front of the doorway seconds later, having blown past his guests with no explanation, hoping his senpai might be willing to do just a little bit more for him today.
“There you are!” Yuuto catches him by the shoulder and drags him the rest of the way toward the door, shaking his head. “Unbelievable. Late to your own wedding. We should have known.”
Izumida gives him a disappointed look. “Well, what’s done is done. Just get in there and talk to him.”
Manami could argue that it still isn’t his fault that he was late today because he really had tried his best to be on time, but instead he focuses on the doorway in front of him, smashing the flat of his hand to the wood and wincing at how badly it stings to do so. Muffled conversation on the other side of the door stops before he hears footsteps and he gets his hopes up, planning on throwing himself on Toudou as soon as the door opens so he can apologize.
In retrospect, it’s a good thing that Doubashi grabs him by the shoulder and holds on tight, not letting him escape, because Makishima is the one who answers the door. He looks nicer than usual, even if the black and white dress clashes oddly with his bright green hair, but then Manami takes in how angry he looks and wilts under the expression.
“So you finally showed up. Late is better than never, I suppose.” Makishima plants a head on top of his head, a little roughly, but Manami doesn’t argue because he probably deserves it at this point. “He’s been upset for over an hour now. Get in here and fix this and don’t be surprised if we end up having to reschedule everything for a later date.”
He yanks Manami into the room and exits it, pulling the door shut behind him; Manami doesn’t even hear the way it slams into place, already halfway across the room to where Toudou is sitting in a chair with a handful of wet tissues in hand, sniffling softly. He still looks amazing even though he’s crying, which is like him. He stills when he realizes Manami is walking toward him though, his eyes widening like he can’t quite believe it, his lips wet and trembling.
“You’re actually here,” he breathes, dashing tears out of his eyes. “I thought you weren’t coming.”
Manami stops in front of him, arms outstretched toward him, then drops them and stuffs them into the pockets on his jacket, letting his head fall. “I’m sorry I’m so late. I really did try to get here on time, but I didn’t. But I’m most sorry for making you think I wasn’t coming. I should have called, or something, or anything. Toudou… Please don’t cry. I’m here now.”
“I expected you to be a little late, you know, I even made a note that we might have to wait for you, but…” Toudou trails off, then slowly pushes himself to his feet, tugging the sleeves of his jacket back into place. “Honestly, Manami. Making me get all worked up for nothing.”
“I’m sorry.” Manami holds his arms out again. “Come here. It’s okay. I’m here.”
Toudou hesitates, dabbing at his cheeks with the corner of a tissue, keeping the distance between them. “You came here because you do want to marry me, right? You aren’t just apologizing for being late and then springing it on me that you don’t want this?”
Manami shakes his head. “No. Like I told you when I asked you, I don’t… I don’t know what all marriage is going to take, but I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
“Idiot.” Toudou smiles through the tears. “You really are an idiot sometimes.”
“Yeah, I am. Now c’mere,” Manami takes a step closer, stretching his arms out a little more.
This time, there is no hesitation. Toudou throws himself into Manami’s open and waiting arms, clinging to him tightly, face pressing hard into the side of his neck. Manami squeezes him tight and kisses the side of his head, and he feels bad for being late but he feels better to have Toudou in his arms and reassured that everything is going to be okay now.
They stand there for a few minutes just like that before Toudou leans back and kisses him, and Manami could joke they’re supposed to save that for the ceremony but he doesn’t. He owes Toudou for stressing him out as badly as he did and Manami would be lying if he said he didn’t take every opportunity he did to kiss Toudou as often as possible.
“Okay,” Toudou says, taking a step back. “You’re glad my parents aren’t going to kill you.”
Manami grins, bumping their foreheads together gently. “I’ll be waiting at the altar.”
When he finally does join the others at the front, they all give him stern looks for being late but Manami just grins and shrugs, taking his place. He was late, it happens, and nothing he can do now is going to change the fact he was late to his own wedding, but Toudou had smiled at him before he came out here and his lips are still warm and tingling from the kiss they had shared. He has to really outdo himself with the upcoming kiss, he can feel it.
If Makishima still gives him a sharp look from the other side of the altar, then he earned that one. But at least Toudou is happy, and he knows Manami loves him and wants to be with him.
He could never imagine not spending every single second he has left at Toudou’s side.
The music swells suddenly and Manami focuses his attention on the doors, his heart thudding impossibly loudly against his ribs, so loud he’s surprised that ti doesn’t overpower the music. He just saw Toudou a minute ago but seeing him walking down the aisle on his father’s arm makes all the difference and Manami thinks, distantly, that there isn’t a hill or a mountain he’s climbed that makes him feel as good as the sight of this right now.
He makes the second kiss count for more and if for a brief moment the guests swear they see wings envelope Toudou’s body gently, so be it.

Can we get a scenario where the hakogaku boys comfort their s/o who woke up during a thunderstorm and is terrified because they absolutely hate thunderstorms, please?
aww, anon, this request is super cute! i’d like to mention that when writing requests, I stated i’d only do about two max (i’ve only been trying to write for all characters becuz i’m a people pleaser >>) so posts do not become long-winded! i’m going to pick about two hakone guys. if it’s not who you want, please send the request again with the characters you’d like to see. The two of them didn’t always get to spend much time together, but when they did, it was always on the weekend. Izumida Touichirou would invite his s/o over and they’d have a sleepover of sorts. There was nothing going on aside from two people wanting to be close. The bike club also kept Izumida very busy, so he enjoyed it when he had free days just to spend lazing about with his s/o.On the television, there was warning of a bad storm rolling through. It must have been typhoon season, he thought. In preparation, he had brought a flashlight into his room and set it on his nightstand. The way his s/o reacted, he had an inkling they didn’t tell him about their fear. Even so, he let it go. Once time for bed, he and his s/o assumed their natural position: they’d sleep with their back to him, butt planted firmly into his groin as they curled up and he’d wrap a protective arm over them while his other rested under his cheek.Sometime later, a huge crash of thunder rocked the house. Izumida slowly came to. It wasn’t necessarily the sound of the thunder, per se. He couldn’t tell if it had been only minutes or hours. All he knew was that he could feel his s/o jump.“Are you okay?” Izumida asked with concern, slowly pushing up while rubbing at his eye.“N-no,” his s/o said, clearly shaken. Even in the darkness, Izumida could see how upset they looked.“Oh! Is it the storm? Come here.” Izumida opened up his arms for them, pulling them close. “You should have told me. I would have done more.”As lightning flashed through the window, his s/o prepared for another rumble of thunder. They pressed their face into his chest, squeezing their eyes shut. As expected, the thunder came and they whined.“I have an idea!” Izumida said, gently pulling away from them. “I promise I won’t leave you.” He said genuinely and went to his desk, grabbing his ipod and headphones. “I know you might not like the music, but it’ll help drown out the thunder and I can hold you so you won’t see the lightning!” He was very proud of his idea.He smiled as they finally cracked a little smile, putting in the headphones. They turned on the playlist and pressed their face back into Izumida’s chest. “You’re right, your music taste is awful…but it’ll help.”Izumida grinned and held them close, resting his chin on the top of their head.=====With the bad storm rolling in, Manami Sangaku’s parents would not allow his s/o to leave. They explained that the trains would be down and no one in their right minds would be caught out in the storm. Plus, they’d get caught dead center in it if they left now.His s/o agreed and thanked them for caring so much. His parents had Manami pull out a cot from their closet. Manami set it up on his bedroom floor, giving his s/o his bed so he could sleep in the cot. Their house didn’t have much room otherwise. Plus, the two of them would get to be together! “Ah, (Name), did you let your parents know?” He asked.“Yeah, I just texted them and they said that’s fine.” They said with a nervous smile, trying not to look too shaken up about the storm. Right now there was just violent wind shaking the trees outside and beating against the house. The sky was the ugliest color of gray the both of them had ever seen! After chatting for a few hours, the two of them drifted off. It wasn’t until thunder rumbled in the distance that his s/o darted up in bed. They looked down to see Manami still asleep. “Sangaku! Sangaku!” They cried out, jumping down and shaking him.“Hmm?” Manami fought through his sleep, opening his eyes. “What is it, (Name)?”“I never…I never told you this but I’m super scared of thunderstorms…” The thunder was light right now, but it wouldn’t be for long.“Oh! You should have told me, (Name)!” Manami said, clearly still sleepy. More thunder rumbled in the distance, getting closer and closer each time. They held firmly on to Manami each time, trying not to cry.“When I was younger and used to be scared of the dark, I’d build a pillow fort. I’d pretend the pillow fort was like an impenetrable castle and nothing could get me in there.” Manami explained. “I think now calls for a pillow fort.” He nodded. His s/o looked at him like he were mad but slowly managed to smile. “Okay, Sangaku. Let’s try it…”While building the pillow fort in his room, they had seemed to not notice the storm as much. It wasn’t completely gone but it helped to distract their minds. Once completely, Manami helped them inside with a grin. “Tada! No thunderstorm can bother us in this bad boy.” He said. The two of them got comfortable in their pillow fort, snuggling close to one another. Between all the covers and sheets everywhere (Manami had stole some from the linen closet and pillows from the living room), it was hard to hear the rain beating against the windowpane or the small rumbles of thunder.“Thank you, Sangaku…” His s/o said while drifting off to sleep.“Of course,” Manami retorted sleepily, pressing a soft kiss to their temple.

So I was working on a Karmanami fic (sorry for being so jnactive lately!) but while browsing through ao3 I found a great fanfic for Nakamura x Asano and I fell in live with this ship. Sue me if you want, but we all know Nakamura had a thing for Nagisa but gave up on him because Kayano and her best friend was Karma... So I think these teo really work together! And of course I immediately started writing. The karmanami should be out soon too! "I can't believe that guy!" Nakamura procedeed to complain as she dropped her things on the chair next to hers and let herself dramatically fall into her own chair, stretching her hands behind her back. "And the reason you are telling me this is..." The man in front of her questioned, looking rather amused at his lunch companion. "Because Karma is too busy with his girlfriend to listen to my stories!" Rio sighed, letting her head fall on her arms in a "drama queen" fashion. "So I am simply a substitute." The man concluded rather than asked, smirking slyly. "Oh, stop being such a downer Asano! You shouldbe glad that I'm willing to entertain you with my stories!" Nakamura pouted, grabbing the menu and quickly broswing through it. Asano picked his own menu, covering his expression with it and letting out a small chuckle that he had stiffled for a while now. His friendship with Rio Nakamura was still a mistery. Being in the same class as Karma, Asano was in permanent competition with someone worthy, but this didn't only affect his learning. With time, he and Karma started going for wagers outside the classroom .It was strange, but his relationship with the red-headed wasn't only a competition, but some kind of rivalry friendship, as they came to respect one another and also learn some of their weaknesses. As such, Karma learned that Asano hated strawberry milk ("just one more thing to prove the bastard had worthless taste!" as he claimed) and Asano came to learn that Karma liked to read chemistry articles in his free time ("never thought a man could be so weak to a woman's charms" the former claimed). Another one of the perks of knowing Karma was getting to know all the intersting former 3-E class members he interacted with. Asano took a special liking to those who scored high on the end of second term tests, such as Nakamura and Isogai or Kataoka, who were all open enough to give him a second chance (or mock him whenever he lost to Karma, in Rio's case). The five virtuoses were all rather reluctant at mingling with class E's students at first, but after seeing how their leader gained respect for them, they gave in. As such, Asano's highschool years were filled with learning more about his opponent and his friends. Out of all of them, Asano resonated the most with Nakamura: she was a foul mouth like Karma, and almost as smart as him. Moreover, her resolve to be a diplomat was something he admired and they often discussed topics such as politics and the right way to tackle a sensitive issue. Over the years, they grew as good friends and she started turning to him whenever Karma would be tol busy to plot something with her or listen to her rambles. Of course he wasn't the evil trickster in person, but he did provide her with scary ways to take revenge if ever needed and he could keep a calm head on his shoulders. This time, however, it seemed like she needed love advice. Or at least a way to take revenge on a guy who stood her up. Asano closed his menu after regainig his composer and looked over to his... Friend. The word sounded weird in his thoughts and even stranger when he tried saying it aloud, like it could chocke him. However, it was undeniable that she was a friend. After all, not everyone keeps in touch even when studying oversees and most definetely most aquantiances don't face-time each other just because they are bored. "So, what happened?" He finally asked. "Huh?" She answered as if he distupted her train of thoughts. Looking up from the menu, she exclaimed : "Oh. That. Ughh." She grimaced, closing the menu loudly. "Listen to this! Your friend Ren asked me out!" She pointed at Asano, who looked taken aback by her remark. "Ren did?" "Yeah! Like what, now that he can't make his way to Kanzaki he tries the remaining options?! And I wasn't even the first one on his list!" She puffed, crossing her arms. "He tried Hayami first! But that was taken, too, so he went to Hinano-chan who turned him flat down and THEN to me." She exclaimed uncreduosly. "I was FOURTH on his list! Cand you BELIEVE him?!" She esclaimed, slamming the table with her hand. "Am I a fourth option?!!" She repeated as if it was the most despicable thing on earth. Asano surpressed a laugh: to think someone would get down just because of such a thing. It was well-known that Ren was a womanizer, but it still fazed Rio that she could be so down on his list. Honestly, it fazed Asano too that his friend only placed Nakamura so down on his list. Practically speaking, she was a girl that could bring many advantages: a high income, fluent English that was mandatory in negotiations, as well as a high persuasive power and a flexible mind that could easily find solutions. "Well, you know Ren." He tried calming her down. "He's a womanizer. I don't think he ranks you or anything... He's more impulsive and attacks who he sees." "And he sees me more often than Hinano-chan!" Wrong argument, Asano realised. "So that's not..." "May I take your order?" The friendly waiter asked. "Sure." Asano gave him a buisness smile, internally thanking him for giving him more time to think. After they ordered, an awkward silence installed between the two, as Rio lost her angriness and instead weakly asked again, with a sad vibe: "am I really that bad?" "Oh, come on, Nakamura, don't be such a downer!" Asano used the same line as her with a smirk, which did seem to help make her feel better. "You know as well as I do that Ren's not so much about quality as he is about quantity." He added. "Hey! Are you calling my friends unqualified?" Rio pointed out, but her words were calmer and warmer and she didn't do a good job at hiding her smile, so Asano continued. "Not at all, I wouldn't dare. I am merely pointing out that Ren's ranking is of no meaning." He retailed. "Of course, you are right. But you have to admit that even so, he was a jerk." "I do not deny that fact." Rio giggled. "However, you don't knkw that from me" asano cauciously added. "Did you say something about the womanizer? Oh, you meant Maehara, right?" Nakamura trailed off, changing the subject. For the rest of the meal, the two didn't bring up Ren anymore and they enjoyed their normal time together: politics, work, catching up and talking about how Asano was bound to be a forever alone because all the women were after his money and none of his secretaries were reliable. "Don't laugh, Nakamura! This is a serious issue! I need a competent worker to do his job to get my appointments in order and all I get are silly and sloppy women!" "Because you have a magnet for these kind of people! But I'm sure the allmighty Asano can manage on his own?" She smirked. "Yes of course. But it gives me a headache every time." He sighed. "And that's why I'm here to heal you~" he blonde laughed. 'Heal' was indeed a good word. Asano enjoyed his time with her and never considered it a waste of time. Moreover, she was always capable of keeping up with his work and let his complain. He could let his guard down around her and still feel safe. "I wish you were my secretary." He honestly said. "Now, now! How could I deprive so many women of their wish to get into your pants? I'm not that mean." She laughed it off, but a trail of rose still colored her cheeks. Lunch was over before either of them could notice and they had to go back to their daily routines. "What now?" Nakamura asked as they walked together to the underground subway station. "Meeting with the CEO of a cars' factory." Asano answered bored. He never liked cars to begin with: they made him nautious. "There there." The woman patted his arm with petty mixed with a sly smirk. She knew fully well that her friend hated cars: she had pictures from their last trip to the sea where the driver had to pull the car over for asano to puke. Her and Karma were all over the place taking photos of him (but of course Karma had to erase them because Manami scolded him, no worries: she the pics later). However, she couldn't help but joke: "fast and furious?" "Nakamura." Asano turned to her with a mixed expression: half amused and half serious, "you're getting weaker with your comebacks." "No!" She fake gasped, pointing a thinking finger to her chin: "it must be my Ren-allergy acting up!" She found the diagnosis. Asano laughed a bit, which earned himself a strange gaze from Nakamura. "That's rare." "Must be my being-fourth-on-the-list allergy." He joked. As soon as the words left his mouth, he turned with a worried expression to his fellow, afraid he could have hurt her. To his surprise, she was smiling: "Glad to see you suffer from it too! We are now oficially allergy buddies!" She said, pretending to sneeze. Asano looked at her in disbelief mixed with fondness: what kind of idiot would put this woman on the fourth place? Objectively speaking, she was smart, funny and could always heal headaches. "For the record" he started as they made it to the station, where they had to part ways, as they were going im opposite directions. "You'd be first on my list." That was a subjective point of view, of course. For a few moments Nakamura remained speechless, holding his stare as she stared back at him. Finally, she answered: "I never made of list. But I just ran the possibilities through my head and you win by far." She stated, matter-of-factly. He never expected that: a joke, brushing it off: yes. Accepting the challenge: no. "Are you free tonight?" He suddenly asked. "Got work until ten." She responded with her usual tone. "Can I pick you up at 10:15?" He said again, with a buisness tone. "That's not within working hours" she laughed, nodding. "And for the record" she added as the next train was announced "you'll have to cure my headache because I have a meeting with a French diplomat next and his accent is killing me!" And with that, she got onto the train and left. A fine woman, Asano thought. And despite being subjective, that was a fact for him.

Part 19
(Usagi and Misaki pulled up to a diner that sat on a  road off a beaten path, the diner looked virtually deserted but there were a few cars in the lot, Misaki figured it was probably the staff).
Misaki: Why do you think he wanted to meet us here? You don’t think he want’s to kill us, do you?
Usagi: (Laughs), No, of course no.  Although, this place is in the middle of nowhere.
(Usagi shut the car off, the two boys got out of the car,  holding hands they walked towards the diner until Takahiro, Shoved Usagi, causing him to fall to the ground).
Takahiro: WHAT THE HELL! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO MY BROTHER HOW COULD YOU OUT HIM! HOW COULD YOU TELL THE WORLD YOU TWO ARE ENGAGED WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!
Misaki: WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU! (He walked over to Usagi pulling him up), you okay?
Usagi: Yeah, I’m fine. Takahiro, first of all I came out, Misaki’s name wasn’t even mentioned!
Takahiro: Oh, really! Thank god!
Misaki: But, it will be after graduation! we WILL tell that, I’m the person he’s  getting married too!
Takahiro: WHAT, (He started to go after Usagi again but Misaki blocked him shoving him back instead). Misaki, don’t you see what’s happening here?! Usagi-san is manipulating you!
Misaki: (Laughs) Okay, first of all, I’ve wanted to tell you this for a while now, Don’t call him that anymore, call him Akihiko or Usami, but I don’t want you to call him the same name I scream out it bed.
Takahiro: I started that pet name.
Misaki: It’s even weirder when you say it like that, so stop. Second, I knew it, I knew you didn’t approve of us, so you’re convincing yourself that he’s manipulating me? I asked him to get married, I asked him if we could tell everyone about us, but he said he wanted to come out himself first. (Misaki took Usagi’s hand, the two started to walk towards the diner). Do me a favor bro, if you care about me at all, figure your shit out or leave us alone.
(Misaki sat across from Usagi in the diner sipping on his third cup of coffee, sharing a plate of fries).
Misaki: I think I finally understand why he hates us together.
Usagi: Yeah, the “Thank God” Comment”, did not help.
Misaki: I don’t want to talk about this right now. Can  I show you how I want our house to look? I know Ren wanted blueprints, but if we show him the outside of the house, and like an idea of how we want a layout of inside, d-do you think he could make blueprints that way?
Usagi: (Nods), Yeah, of course.
Misaki: Look, I just want you to know, (He reaches out taking Usagi’s hand), I want this to be our house so while I have ideas for the way the outside looks, and the inside, you have to contribute to stuff.
Usagi: (Reaches across the table, caressing Misaki’s face), I’m fine with whatever you want.
Misaki: I know, but the whole point, is for this to feel like out house okay?
Usagi: Yeah, Okay. So show me the house.
Tumblr media
Misaki: What do you think?
Usagi: I love it! (Usagi had moved to the other side of the table, he was leaning against Misaki, his chin resting on his shoulder).
Misaki: (Turned his head slightly), Are you sure? because of you h-
Usagi: I love it, I mean it’s not a Japanese style house at all, so it’s definitely not traditional, but that’s what I like about it.
Misaki: (Chuckles), I guess we aren’t the most traditional couple huh?
Usagi: I mean, I fell in love with my best friends brother, my family hates you but also some of them are kinda in love with you, so yeah, i’d say so.
Misaki: (Softy kisses Usagi’s check), You’re the only one for me.
Usagi: (Smiles), I love you.
Misaki: I love you too.
Usagi: So what other ideas do you have?
Misaki: So many! I kinda want four floors, that way we we have plenty of space. So we have the basement floor  and I was thinking could have like a ,oive theater there?
Usagi: I don’t think we need that, how often do you think we would use it?
Misaki: I don’t know, I just always thought it would be cool.
Usagi: I just don’t think we would use it.
Misaki: Okay, I was also thinking, we could have a room for the bears, but not all of them. But in the basement
Usagi: Yeah, I was thinking of getting rid of a lot of my toys and bears anyway.
Misaki: Really?
Usagi: I don’t think I need them as much anymore. The snow globe you got me is amazing. Suzuki-san, and Jr for sure, but I think we can get rid of  all the other stuff, I’ll have  to look through it all, but yeah, I think I’m done with it, unless it’s something you gave me, I don’t want it. but if you want a basement, maybe a proper laundry room. You could have a door that says “Laundry room” and its a barn style door”. We can get drying racks, a table for folding clothes, nice laundry baskets.
Misaki: Awe! I love that, but the basement will be  kinda big, I mean what else would go there?
Usagi: We don’t have to decide now, and maybe in the future we could come back to the home theater, I’m just saying, with the two of us living there, we don’t need it.
Misaki: Yeah, you’re right. Okay so when we go to the first floor I was thinking an open living room, leading into the kitchen, a big on with seating in the kitchen. Oh, and an island is that okay? Like this...
Tumblr media
Usagi: I love that, It’s enough room for you to cook, and we can actually it in the kitchen.
Misaki: Okay, and then the living room will meet with the kitchen, but I also think we can have sliding barn doors in case we want to close it off, and we can also have a half bathroom off the living room?
Usagi: I like it. Second floor?
Misaki: Okay, the  second floor, would be two guest bedrooms, each with a bathroom.
Usagi: Okay, that works.
Misaki: The third floor is our space, I have a great idea...
Usagi: Can our bedroom have a balcony?
Misaki: YES! I was thinking the same thing!
Usagi: Really?
Misaki: Yeah! Look, here’s an idea I found, it has a balcony so what do you think?
Tumblr media
Usagi: I think that’s amazing, and Pinterest has everything!
Misaki: (Giggles), I know.
Usagi: Can I design the outdoor space for the balcony?
Misaki: (Hands him the phone), DO IT BABY!
Usagi: Okay, here I have three different ideas, which one is your favorite?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Misaki: I think we could use the first and second, and then maybe the third for our backyard.
Usagi: Okay, cool.
Misaki: And I think a big walk in closet for us, do you want to see a picture?
Usagi: No, if I say huge walk in closet, Ren will know what I mean.
Misaki: Okay, This part is my favorite, the bathroom, so this is part of it, and Instead of that tub I want this one. your going to love it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Usagi: I do LOVE it. I can  picture it now. (He smiled, wrapped his arms around Misaki and gently placed kisses on his neck, Misaki giggled then moaned slightly).
Misaki: Hey, stop people are here.
Usagi: (Lips pressed to his neck), It’s only us and  the workers.
Misaki: Still. (He pulled away from Usagi), Save it.
Usagi: I’m tired of wating.
Misaki: I know, me too.
Usagi: So, (clears throat), um seeming like our space is going to be pretty big, but there’s probably enough space for us to put an office right? Because I made one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Misaki: Top one would be your desk, bottom mine? We could add a couch?
Usagi: Yeah, and I was thinking, It could just be across from our bedroom.
Misaki: Yeah, that’s perfect. So last thing, backyard.
Usagi: Hot tub, this one.
Tumblr media
Misaki: (Laughs), okay. I also want this for outside, we have lots of land, so we can always add more, one day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Usagi: Well, what about the fourth floor?
Misaki: What about it?
Usagi: What do you want up there?
Misaki: Oh, its dumb.
Usagi: Tell me. (He knocked against Misaki with his shoulder).
Misaki: It’s just another little hang out space for us, like in case we have company, and we just want to get away, just a place the two of us can get too, and no one else.
Usagi: (Grins), Can I see it?
Misaki: I guess.
Tumblr media
Misaki:  I know it looks dumb, and not our style really but it’s cozy and makes me feel warm... Do you hate it? You hate it don’t you I can look for something else. (He scrolled fiercely on his phone, until Usagi took it from his placing it on the table).
Usagi: (Takes Misaki’s face staring into his eyes), I love that little attic space, I love that we’re designing a house together, and I love you, so fucking much. (He softly pressed his lips to Misaki’s giving him a soft but deep kiss. (He pulled away, pressing his forehead to Misaki’s). I’ll send an email to Ren with our ideas.
Misaki: (Nods, he leans into Usagi, locking his hand with the big cold one), We’ve been here for almost two hours.
Usagi: Do you wanna go?
Misaki: No, I like being in a place where no one knows where we are, lets stay a while.
Usagi: (Grins, places a kiss a Misaki’s head, pulling the younger boy closer to him. It was nice to escape realty for a while).
(Takahiro was angry, he could not believe his brother was shutting him out of his life, after everything he’d done for him! and He was dating his best friend who the fuck did that, he took another shot of whisky slamming the glass on the table, no one was home yet, and he needed to vent to his wife, she always knew what to say. The door opened to the apartment and Mahiro ran inside hugging his fathers leg almost knocking him to the ground, he was really drunk so he’s balance was off.)
Mahiro: Hi daddy!
Takahiro: (slurring words): Hi buddy, where’s mommy?
Manami: (walking in with groceries, placing them on counter) I’m here, Mahiro, go to your room, and play, I need to talk to your dad.
Mahiro: Okay, (Runs into rum).
Manami: (Crosses arms), Are you Drunk?!
Takahiro: (Slurring) NO, I’ve only had like five shots and two beers.
Manami: (Rolls eyes), what happened?
Takahiro: (walks over to sit on the couch, he couldn’t stand anymore), Usagi and Misaki.
Manami: Oh, really?
Takahiro: I kinda attacked Usagi.
Manami: What the fuck is wrong with you?
Takahiro: He came out on a Live, said he was engaged, and that they were living together.
Manami: SO? you know that already!
Takahiro: But now, he want’s Misaki to come out after graduation.
Manami: (takes a seat on the couch), I have a feeling that was Misaki’s idea.
Takahiro: So! I don’t want anyone to know!
Manami: Know, what?
Takahiro: THAT MY LITTLE BROTHER BROTHER IS GAY! I DON’T WANT HIM TO BE GAY! WHY CAN’T HE BE NORMAL?!
Manami: TAKAHIRO, I CAN’T BELIVE YOU WOULD SAY THOSE THINGS, HE IS NORMAL, AND USAMI AND HIM ARE IN LOVE. IF YOU CAN’T ACCEPT THAT, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE. (Stands up), You know what, I think Mahiro and I are going to leave for a while.
Takahiro: Hon-
Manami: For someone who say’s he loves he’s brother as much as you, everything you just said disproved that. Grow up Takahiro. (Walks in Mahiro’s room)
Takahiro: (stands up, drowns the last bit of whiskey, then slams the bottle against the wall, Mahiro runs out of his room with a  backpack on).
Mahiro: What happen?
Manami: (Walks out of her bedroom with a small bag on), Mahiro, how would you like to go stay with Uncle Misaki for a few days?
Mahiro: MATKI!! Is daddy coming?
Manami: No, he’s not. (Sharply looks up at Takahiro), Your dad isn’t happy that Misaki is. (The two exit the apartment leaving Takahiro standing in the shattered pieces of the mess he made.

Conversation
Part 13
Misaki walked into Usagi's room with a huge grin on his face he was in a great mood, Usagi was coming home today, he was feeling great about his exams, he was just in a really good mood.
Aikawa: (Sitting on the couch, on her computer). Wow, what are you so happy about?
Misaki: (Walking over to the chair beside Usagi's bed). Uh, today's just a good day.
Usagi: Misaki, don't be so modest, he passed his exam with flying colors, (Looks up at Misaki grinning), and i'm so proud of him.
Misaki: (Blushes) Usagi. (Sits down, placing bag on the floor beside him). Thank you. (grabs Usagi's hand).
Takahiro: Misaki, Congrats on passing your exam.
Misaki: Thank you Takahiro.
Takahiro: And, I also want to apologize for being so upset about your relationship with Usagi-san, I didn't understand, but he explained everything to me.
Misaki: I thought I made it clear before.
Takahiro: Maybe you did, but I didn't want to listen.
Misaki: Well I appreciate you accepting our relationship.
Takahiro: I'm trying.
Usagi: Try harder.
Takahiro: Right, so do you think you guys are going to have kids?
Misaki: (Glances at Usagi and raises an eyebrow).
Usagi: (Shakes head), He asked me the same question.
Misaki: Takahiro, I think we should just focus on the fact that we just got engaged first. Plus Usagi doesn't like kids.
Usagi: (Gasps), that is so not true.
Misaki: Remember the last time we had to babysit Mahiro?
Usagi: I was nice to him.
Misaki: You're jealous of him because I had to watch him and couldn't hang out with you.
Usagi: If we had our own kids I wouldn't do that.
Misaki: I would need you to prove that first.
Aikawa: Wait, if you have kids can I be the surrogate?
Usagi: Sure!
Misaki: (Runs hands over face). Nobody's having kids! We just got engaged, and I still have to graduate.
Aikawa: And I have a date!
(They all look at her)
Aikawa: What?, I'm just trying to change the subject.
Misaki: Where are you going?
Aikawa: Um, I think IMI.
Usagi: Aw, That's where we always go. (Looks at Misaki with heart eyes). It can be expensive though.
Misaki: It's only expensive because you rent out the whole balcony!
Usagi: I just want us to have a nice time.
Misaki: I have a nice time when I'm with you no matter what.
Usagi: (Kisses Misaki's Knuckles), I know.
Misaki: (Grins), So you don't always have to try so hard love.
Usagi: I know, but I'm not done trying to impress you.
Misaki: (Blushes), Stop.
Rose: (walks in grinning with papers in her hand) Okay Akihiko, you are all set to go, someone will be up here with a wheelchair shortly to escort you out of the hospital so make sure you have all your stuff. I need to take your IVs out. (Walks over to Usagi and Unhooks everything attached to him). Okay, you're all set.
Usagi: YES I'M FREEEE (laughs)
Rose: (Nods and turns to Aikawa) And you, are you ready for our date?
Aikawa: Um, I can be I'm not dressed though, I know that place has a dress code.
Rose: That's okay, my place is close to here, you're about my size, we can change there.
Aikawa: (Blushes) Um, yeah sure. That works.
Rose: Okay, I have to go clock out, but i'll be back in about five minutes.
Aikawa: Yeah, O-okay.
Rose: (Winks at Aikawa and heads out)
Aikawa: (Rushes over to Misaki who is gathering Usagi's stuff.) Misaki, What do I! I'm so nervous I could puke, I've never been on a date before help me.
Misaki: We'll I'm glad you came to me, I know exactly what to do, I'm an expert.
Usagi: (Stifles a laugh).
Misaki: Don't listen to him. (Places Usagi's stuff in a bag).
Aikawa: No, I'm asking you because you were probably really nervous for your first date with Akihiko.
Miksai: Oh, yeah. I was.
Aikawa: And how did you handle it?
Misaki: (Blushes), Uh, Not very well if remember right.
Usagi: (stands up and walks over to Misaki wrapping his arms around him).
Misaki: Usagi, you should be resting.
Usagi: I've been resting enough, besides the doctor said I should be up and walking around. Aikawa, don't listen to him, yeah he was nervous on our first date, but he did fine.
Aikawa: What was it like?
Usagi: I picked him up from school.
Misaki: Embarrassing at the time, but super sweet looking back at it.
Usagi: We hung out at the beach, went to the movies, went shopping-
Misaki: He made me get a suit because of the dress code thing.
Usagi: He looked so cute in it because the suit was a little to big, but you know he always looks cute. (Kisses Misaki's Cheek).
Misaki: (Blushes) Usagi.
Usagi: It's true. Uh and then we went to dinner and that was really nice, except unfortunately that's where he met Isaka.
Misaki: Yeah, that was fun.
Aikawa: How did that go.
Usagi: He asked why I was dating Misaki after rejecting him many times. (scoffs)
Misaki: I didn't like that, it was embarrassing. He tried telling me stuff about Usagi's childhood like he knew I didn't know.
Usagi: Yea, it's okay we talked it on the ferris wheel.
Misaki: Yeah, it was beautiful.
Aikawa: Is that where the Idea for the ferris wheel scene came from?
Misaki: (Blushes) Kinda
Aikawa: So you!
Usagi: Not on the ferris wheel, at home.
Aikawa: Are you going to add an engagement to the series?
Usagi: No
Misaki: (Turns to face Usagi), Wait really?
Usagi: No, I feel like that would be way to personal.
Misaki: Usagi, (Reaches up, and brushes hair out of Usagi's eyes), You can write it if you want, only if you want to progress the fake story based on us along.
Usagi: (Grins) I'll think about it. But I already have four turned in.
Misaki: I know, I'm just letting you know that I'm okay with it.
Usagi: Thank you Misaki. (Leans down to kiss him.)
Misaki: (Pulls away) Usagi, I-
Usagi: (Smirks) Yeah, I know. We should get the rest of our things together.
Misaki: Yeah.
Takahiro: Um, do you guys need any help?
Misaki: No, you can go home.
Takahiro: Usagi-san?
Usagi: Go home, you have a family, we've been keeping you away from them long enough.
Takahiro: Are you sure?
Usagi: Yes, I have Misaki, I'm good..
Takahiro: Okay, see you Usagi-san, Misaki can I see you in the hall for a second?
Misaki: (Glaces at usagi) Uh, sure. (Follows Takahiro into the hall, leans against the wall). Whats up.
Takahiro: Look, Usag-
Misaki: Usagi can be stubborn? I know, He's fine. Go home to your family.
Takahiro: (Sighs), I'm having trouble letting go, my baby brother is growing up and has is own family.
Misaki: Yeah, Usagi's my family, and I have to take care of him, the doctor said it would only be about a week, he'll be okay, so if you don't mind, I have to go take care of my family, you should take care of yours. (Turns to leave).
Takahiro: Misaki, are we going to get pass this.
Misaki: (Turns head to face him) I don't know, you were the one who made me feel like crap the night we told you.
Takahiro: I- I don't remember that.
Misaki: I do, and i tried to forget, but you haven't made it easy.
(A few months ago, outside Takahiro's house. Usagi is holding Misaki's hand tightly, he can feel the nerves racing throughout his whole body).
Usagi: Misaki, we don't have to do this.
Misaki: We do, because I graduate in a few months, and if we don't tell him, I-I am afraid of what might happen if I have to move out.
Usagi: (Caresses Misaki's cheek) I'm never letting you go.
Misaki: (Smiles) I know, and I believe that our relationship is strong enough to get through anything, but I can't imagine not living with you. (Wraps his arms around Usagi).
Usagi: (Tightly holds Misaki) I know, I love you.
Misaki: (Tearly) I love you too.
Usagi: (Pulls away, wiping a tear away from Misaki's cheek), Okay, we need to composes ourselves and go in.
Misaki: (Nods), Yeah, you ready.
Usagi: Yep. (Knocks on door).
(After dinner the three of them sit on the couch sipping tea).
Misaki: So thanks for dinner.
Usagi: Yeah, it was great.
Takahiro: I'm glad you enjoyed, sorry Mahiro and Manami couldn't be here, she cooked dinner but then said something come up.
Usagi: Oh, that's okay, we actually have something we want to discusses.
Takahiro: (sighs, takes a sip of tea), I still think living together when Misaki graduates is a bad idea.
Misaki: I want to stay with him.
Takahiro: We had an agreement.
Misaki: I know, but I'm an adult, why can't I have say in this.
Takahiro: Why do you want to stay with him so badly?
Misaki: Because, (glaces at Usagi
who slightly nod), I- I- (Clears throat, starts to sweat), I'm in love with him, I love Usagi.
Takahiro: (Gasp, drops tea cup, it shatters). No, when did this happen? (Looks at Usagi), Do you know about this?
Usagi: (Looks at him like he's an idiot) Of course I know, I'm in love with him too. (Grabs Misaki's hand), Look Misaki and I have kinda been dating for four years.
Takahiro: WHAT! FOUR YEARS! FOUR FUCKING YEARS! HAVE YOU BEEN TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MY BABY BROTHER?! (slaps Usagi's face,Usagi flenches).
Misaki: Usagi! (Runs thumb across his face) WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU. usagi are you okay?
Usagi: (Nods), Yeah I'm okay.
Takahiro: HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO MY BROTHER?
Misaki: He didn't do anything to me, we're in love.
Takahiro: I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!
Usagi: Takahiro, calm down. It's not what you think.
Takahiro: WHAT I THINK IS, YOU'VE BEEN TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MY BROTHER FOR YEARS, AND HE'S SCARED AND HE DOESN'T REALLY LOVE YOU!
Miksai: (Gasps), How could you say that? You know how hard it is for me to open up and get close to somebody, and Usagi is the first person i've ever let me walls down too, let alone fallen in love with, and you think this is a big joke, or that it's fake? Do you have any idea how hard this was to tell you that i've fallen in love with your best friend? Do you know how long we've wanted to tell you but couldn't, we thought you would be shocked but we didn't know you would react like this. (Stands up, heads to door) I want to go home. Usagi?
Usagi: Yeah, we should go. (Stands) I- I am so, sorry, but I'm so in love with your brother. Misaki means everything to me, and I would never hurt him.
Misaki: Usagi!
Usagi: Coming!
(Present)
Takahiro: I don't remember that.
Misaki: Do you remember showing up at our house a few days later?
(A few months ago)
(Usagi and Misaki are at home on the couch watching TV, Misaki's head is resting in Usagi's lap, he's stroking Misaki's hair.
Misaki: Do you think he'll ever approve?
Usagi: I don't know, I'm sorry I ruined your relationship with him.
Misaki: (Scoffs) This was his fault, what about your relationship with him?
Usagi: As long as I have you, I don't care, I only want you Misaki.
(The doorbell rings, Usagi gets up to get it).
Usagi: Misaki, it's Takahiro, should I let him in?
Misaki: (Sighs) I think you should, we should probably talk.
(Takahiro enters, a gloomy aura surrounds him)
Takahiro: Can I talk to you guys?
(Misaki and Usagi sit on the couch nervously holding hands, Takahiro sits on the other couch, his arms crossed).
Misaki: Talk
Takahiro: I thought about it, I reacted awfully to you guys coming out to me, It must've been really hard.
Misaki: Yeah, it was.
Takahiro: I'm sorry for the way I acted, It's going to take some time for me to app- get used to this. I don't want this to ruin the relationship i have with you guys.
Misaki: It's going to take some time for me.
Usagi: Thank you for coming over, and telling us that.
Takahiro: Are we good?
Usagi: You accused me of forcing Misaki into this relationships.
Takahiro: We'll It's just I know how you can be.
Miskai: If i didn't want to be with him, I wouldn't be with him.
Usagi: He's right.
Takahiro: So this is an equal partnership?
Usagi, Misaki: Yes!
Takahiro: okay, we'll I am going to go, I still need time. Goodbye. (exits).
Misaki: He's never going to approve of us Usagi.
Usagi: (Pulls Misaki into a hug) Are you okay with that?
Misaki: I just want you.
Usagi: And I just want you.
(Present)
Takahiro: I'm okay with it now, or at least i'm starting to be.
Misaki: (leans against the wall). So tell me why you made such a big deal, why did you hate the idea of us being together?
Takahiro: I guess, the idea of you growing up scared me, and when I saw that you found someone who could take care of you that wasn't me it scared me, Plus Usagi-san is my best friend and he's dating my little brother, that kinda bugged me. But then the way he talked about you a few hours ago, I finally realized that he truly loves you, like he's crazy about you. I didn't understand before, Misaki you seem so happy, I've never seem you that way, not since before our parents died. I'm really happy you've found someone who you feel this way about, and that this person feels the same way about you, no wonder Usagi-san can deal with you living with him.
Misaki: He makes me so fucking happy Takahiro.
Takahiro: I know that now. I'm sorry I was such an asshole about it.
Misaki: (Sighs) I accept your apology. (Steps forward to hug Takahiro).
Takahiro: (Hugs Misaki) I love you bro
Misaki: I love you too.
Takahiro: Look, i'm going to go spend time with my family, you should go take care of yours.
Misaki: Okay.
Takahiro: And, call me when you guys get home, and if you need anything.
Misaki: I will, I promise.(Walks back into Usagi's room)
Aikawa: we'll everything is packed up. (Aikawa smiles at Misaki and hands him his phone).
Usagi: If the stupid wheelchair was here we could go. (He groans and spins around on the reclining chair).
Misaki: Are you sure you got everything?
Usagi: Yes
Misaki: Really?
Aikawa: Yes, but you can check if it makes you feel better.
Misaki: (Checks around room, finds Usagi's charger and laptop charger).
Aikawa: Okay so we missed two things.
Misaki: Two important things.
Rose: (Walks in, flushed) sorry guys, I had to take of something.
Aikawa: Oh, that's okay. Ready to go? (Grabs her stuff)
Rose: Yeah. the discharge Nurse should be here soon, (Grabs Aikawa's hand). I'll see you guys later.
Usagi: Bye, thank you so much.
Misaki: (singsong) Have funnnn.
Aikawa: Thanks.
(The two girls walk out hand in hand grinning and Blushing).
Usagi: So, I want to leave.
Misaki: Relax Usagi, we can leave soon.
Usagi: (Whining) I wanna leave nowwww
Misaki: (Rolls his eyes, Places hands on Usagi's shoulders) How old are you?
Usagi: I'm thirty-two
Misaki: Oh, so you're not a two year old.
Usagi: Shut up!
(Discharge nurse walks in with wheelchair)
DN: Alright, sorry about that, are we all set to leave?
Usagi: (Jumps up) Yes!
Misaki: Babe, be careful.
Usagi: Sorry, I'm just happy, we get to go home!
Misaki: (Rolls eyes, grabs his bag and Usagi's double checks room, grabs the keys and heads out the door).
(Rose Holds a sleeveless red dress up to herself in front of her full length mirror, Eri Aikawa Nervously sits on the bed watching her, they have both showered, and have put their hair up in messy buns, their makeup is done naturally and now they were picking out dresses, they wore robes while deciding what to wear).
Rose: What do you think?
Eri : Well, the red really brings out your hazel eyes, and your olive skin.
Rose: Sooo
Eri: (Chuckles) Go with the red.
Rose: Okay, now shoes?
Eri: (Hops off bed) Oh, I saw these black knee high boots in your closet, pick those.
Rose: Oh perfect.
(Eri walks into Rose's closet, grabs the boots and hands them to her, Rose grabs them, takes off her robe revealing a matching lacy black lingerie set, Eri blushes).
Rose: Oh, I hope it's okay that I change front of you.
Eri: Oh (Blushes harder) Yeah no, it's fine.
Rose: (steps into dress) Hey, can you zip me up?
Eri: OH! Yeah sure. (Walks over to Rose and zips up her dress, her skin is warm, and flawless. Rose is stunning).
Rose: Eri?
Eri: Yeah?
Rose: (Smirks) Is everything okay?
Eri: Oh, (Takes hands off Rose's back) Yeah, sorry.
Rose: Okay, now for you, I think a blue dress.
Eri: Why?
Rose: (Brings hand up to Eri's face, runs thumb under her eye). You have these beautiful, grey blue eyes, a blue dress will really make them pop. I have the perfect dress. (Smiles, walks around Eri and goes into closet pulling out a high-low navy blue dress, it was sleeveless, and sparked. she looked around and found ankle high laced peep toe boots with a chunky heel.) Perfect. (She walked out of the closet, grinning) Okay, this will look perfect on you.
Eri: (Blushes, eyes wided) Uh, I don't think so.
Rose: Yes, take your robe off.
Eri: No, I don't have pretty underwear sets like you.
Rose: (Laughs) Eri, who cares, (Whispers) It's just us here, You're beautiful.
Eri: O-O-Okay. (Slides Robe off, revleing a black push-up bra and matching panties, Blushes).
Rose: See, You're Beautiful. Now, but this dress on. (Tosses dress at Eri).
Eri: Are you sure.
Rose: Eri, babe you are amazing, put it on now, or I will force it on you.
Eri: (Eyes grow wide) Okay, god. (Pulls dress on).
Rose: Here, i'll zip you up.
Eri: Okay.
Rose: (Jumps over to Eri, zips up her dress, placing hands on her shoulders) Look, (Turns her towards the mirror) You're a babe.
Eri: I do look good.
Rose: Yeah! see.
Eri: (Looks at phone, its seven-thirty) Crap, we need to put our shoes on and get out of here, don't we have reservations at eight?
Rose: Yeah, come on. (They pull their boots on and head out the door).
(Misaki and Usagi walk into their house, Misaki helping Usagi to the couch, he’d gotten sleepy on the ride home and Hardly made it up to their home).
Misaki: okay, just rest for a little while, and we can eat later.
Usagi: will you lay down with me?
Misaki: yeah?
Usagi: please, I know we weren’t in the hospital long, but I miss holding you in my arms.
Misaki: (smirks) yeah, but no funny business, your doctor said no sex for two weeks.
Usagi: I know, I know. I just want to cuddle.
Misaki: okay. (Grabs cover, walks over to Usagi and falls into his arms).
Usagi:(places chin on Misaki’s head, wraps arms tightly around him), this is nice.
Misaki: (wraps arms around Usagi’s arms, lacing his fingers through his). Yeah it is, I really missed being wrapped in your arms.
Usagi: I missed this too. (Yawns)
Misaki: (smiles and Closes his eyes, he was exhausted as well but wanted to make sure Usagi was okay, but he could tell by Usagi’s steady breathing that he was sleeping). *thinking* I wonder how Aikawa is doing on her date?
(Rose and Eri sit on the balcony overlooking the city of Tokyo, it was a beautiful evening and they were both filled with nerves, although Rose was better at hiding it).
Eri: Wow, it's so pretty here, this is the spot where Misaki and Akihiko always sit, although Akihiko always rents out this whole space, Misaki always complains, but I think he secretly likes it... what do you think we should eat? I was thinking we could share the grilled fish and sake? Or the steak and sake...
Rose: Eri,(Places hand on hers, causing her breath to slow), Relax, it's going to be okay. And the grilled fish sounds awesome.
Eri: Sorry, I don't know why i'm so nervous.
Rose: It's okay, so am I, i'm just really good at hiding it.
Eri: (Smirks)
(Waiter comes over and takes their order of grilled fish, with veggies and sake).
Rose: So, it seems like you really care about Akihiko and Misaki?
Eri: Yeah, they're like my best friends in the world, I love them, they're the closest thing to family I have.
Rose: What about your parents?
Eri: Eh, they I'm not really close with them?
Rose: What happened?
Eri: (Shrugs) We just had a falling out, they wouldn't help pay for university, they thought I should stay home and be a housewife, they had my future all planned out, down to an arranged marriage and I didn't want that.
Rose: I'm really sorry.
Eri: It is what it is, even though Akihiko drives me insane, especially when he doesn't meet his deadlines like his suppose to, he's always been there for me, and Misaki has been really good for Him, Isaka wants Misaki to be like Akihiko's assistant or whatever.
Rose: Won't that be a conflict of interest?
Eri: Akihiko is at his best when Misaki is around, we figure, the more Misaki is helping him the more books he can get out, plus there was this mangaka who really wanted Misaki, but we had to let him go, he was making them uncomfortable.
Rose: How?
Eri: Uh, stalking Misaki, he's completely in love with him and no matter how many times he turned him down he wouldn't listen, so we had to let him go, but turns out he had a better job offer at another company anyway, so i guess we did him a favor.
Rose: Misaki and Akihiko, are they okay?
Eri: Yeah, they've been through a lot but they always come out stronger.
Rose: Akihiko has to tell the public soon right, about him in Misaki?
Eri: That's what he wants.
(The waiter brings out their food, it looks amazing, they eat it and talk some more getting to know each other, Eri walks Rose back home, she ends up staying the night, they don't have sex, but fall asleep in each other's arms as quickly as they start falling in love.
