I saw a video today that said, “It’s very uncomfortable as an adult when your friend starts to date somebody who sucks, and you’re all looking at each other going ‘Guys, if this is the person who makes them happy…I think collectively as a unit we can agree that we would rather see them sad. So what's the plan?’” 

And immediately went: modern Steddie AU were Steve dates his high school friend Tommy and everyone is tearing their hair out over how awful he’s being treated. 

Ft. the Party, led by Dustin, hounding Eddie “I could get a man in a SECOND, I just CHOOSE not to date” Munson for help

However:

Eddie is mostly thinking the entire thing is a joke (King Steve and Tommy Hagan? Gay? Together?? Nice try Henderson.) until he runs into Robin. She laments that yeah, they’re bi, but more importantly, Tommy is fucking awful and Steve refuses to see it. 

2. Eddie, maybe, kind of, still has a crush on Steve ("Stop laughing Gareth, everyone has--had! Had a crush on him!") and the guy was never THAT bad in high school---but Tommy Hagan definitely was and a little revenge would be fun.

and finally;

3. Instead of going with the kids' well intentioned but very misguided “Let’s get Eddie to Steal Steve” plan, Eddie meets up with the Robin/Nancy/Jonathan/Argyle/Chrissy dream team to figure out how to prove to Steve that Tommy is horrible. 

Bonus: Robin and Nancy come up with a full proof multi step plan that involves Eddie pissing off Tommy in ways that look completely innocent. The hope is that Steve will see how controlling and unreasonable Tommy is, and break it off.

This hurts no one and just highlights to Steve Tommy's behavior.

Of course, Eddie goes off the rails immediately upon meeting Steve.

Instead of following The Plan, he, with the kids permission and help, gets Tommy to get blow up about THEM.

This is far more successful.

Bonus x2: A large amount of shenanigan's with the kids vs Tommy are involved. As is a scene were Steve breaks down and admits he knows Tommy is terrible, but Tommy puts up with him and Steve "knows how he is."

Eddie goes home, prints out a picture of Tommy and throws cheap ren fair daggers at it for at least three solid hours while he tries to think up ways to prove to Steve Harrington that his parents are wrong, hes very lovable actually.

In fact Eddie would very much like a shot at trying it out, thanks!

(It is also, inevitably, successful.)

i see this jason todd who actually looks his very young age (instead of the 30yr old man that comics like to portray)

and feel my heart breaking just imagining bruce beating him up, almost killing him, mind-breaking him, and just overall being a total piece of shit father towards him.

a huge chunk of the reason why people don't view bruce's actions towards jason as abusive or wrong is because jason doesn't look his age. he's drawn to be this 35yr old father of three who looks even older than dick (and way too on par with bruce) that people see their fights as one between batman and any of his regular rogues. when they fight, it just looks like batman is fighting a man his age and not an actual young person. it doesn't look like batman is fighting his son who's barely even drinking age (and who def wasn't drinking age in utrh). their fights are portrayed in a way that eliminates the very real power struggle between them.

this applies to jason's entire character as well. a lot of people don't sympathize with how he died or his actions as robin or his fights with the other bats because he doesn't look his age. he always looks older and scarier than everyone else. tim has many sympathizers from the titans tower incident because jason just looked like a grown man fighting a 12yr old (even tho i disagree, tim was built and like 17 lmfao).

anyways, i just wish comics would actually draw jason to look his age, which literally ranges from 19 to early twenties. he's young- so young, and it's so annoying to see him drawn and written as someone older than even bruce.

Just saying,

James is the spoiled one in the relationship. He’s used to getting all he wants because Effie and Monty would indulge his every whim. He’s dramatic as shit, loud, confident, but so theatrical about it.

Regulus is the more quiet one (though not shy or insecure AT ALL. This man was meant to inherit an empire and associate (if not better) the most powerful wizards, be honest with yourself, he was be confident and stoic), and if he wanted something, he had to take it for himself seeing as his parents mostly focused on Sirius for 15 years. He’s independent.

To summarise: Regulus wears the pants in the relationship and James is just happy to be there and be pampered and be bought nice things. Regulus calls him ‘love’ and he’s gone. He wears Reg’s jumpers when he’s home alone. He’s pathetically whipped and would let Reg do anything to him. James cooks so well and makes Reg a different dish each week bc this man is used to house elf menus and that wont cut it. and to clarify my issues with Dream’s video are Not the evidence itself but How it’s shown. most of the video is Not about grooming allegations. it’s edited in a way that downplays a lot of the serious with visual gags. it leaves some of the most important stuff til the end- even with chapters, it’s important to debunk the most important stuff first. this isn’t a hater thing, at least not entirely. people fucking HATED kwite, for instance, but when his video dropped people listened, because it was presented in a thoughtful and respectful manner that immediately got to the most important evidence first and spent its entire runtime focused on one topic instead of jumping back and forth. the reason the analytics look like this

on Dream’s video are not entirely down to haters, it’s naïve to say that when people who were also getting incredibly violent and awful things said about them didn’t receive the same response. people Didn't Like the way it was framed, it was uncomfortable and inappropriate. it would Not be recieving the same amount of backlash if he did the kwite thing and kept it minimalistic, opened up with the most important evidence, and stayed on topic. that’s the gold star of response videos not just because of the evidence but because it handled it Respectfully. even if everything is false it’s important to do that.
