Multiple hot takes in this one:

I think people who keep up with wags are weird especially those who make fan pages and defend them like they know them especially for the wags who literally never interact with people so you don’t even know their personalities. I think it’s also weird when you see a photo of a driver with their partner ie Oscar and lily and people go oh she’s Barbie and he’s there I guess like you can compliment her but putting down a person to compliment another is crazy to me. It’s just icky because if someone said that to my partner or about them I’d be upset. It’s just weird 😰 obviously there are exceptions for if they’re in their own field and you genuinely like their work then that’s okay. Like Alex’s gf lily who’s a pro golfer, but only liking their stuff when it’s attached to said driver and them being a wag is the weird bit.

Speaking of Oscar, this is more Charles fans, I love Charles a lot but those Charles fans who come out of the woodwork to use Oscar to put lando down is insane. Lando will have a bad stop and Oscar will do a good thing and I just see all these Charles fans saying Oscar finally showing lando he’s washed or I bet landos pissed Oscar won before him, which has been proven wrong on many occasions he’s proud of Oscar and does everything to bring it up knowing Oscar won’t really brag about it . Like you guys should be more worried about what war Ferrari is brewing over there instead of trying to make it seem like lando and Oscar hate eachother.

Which brings me to my third take, I love c2 content it’s great but people who are deluding themselves into thinking they’re besties is crazy. It’s okay they can just be teammates no one’s gonna die. I feel like people use the excuse oh well would you laugh with someone you hated? Uh yes especially if I have to work with them, you can also have good times with someone you don’t like. Plus they get paid for this so obviously theyre gonna laugh and do whatever to secure their seats. I’m not saying they hate eachother either I’m just saying they’re coworkers atleast and at most friends but those type of friends you make in certain classes so it makes time go faster ya know.

Also Carlos needs to muzzle his mother because lord I would not let my family members have twter accounts or social media accounts. The way you could literally lose your seat over something a family member likes is crazy. Like why was she beefing with Ferraris long standing driver you’d think she’d want her son to keep his chair especially since Carlos’ sponsor backing is leaving the team. I’d be all up on twter liking c2 content and even some Charles posts congratulating him on doing good like cmon. Shit talking your competitor isn’t gonna work with Carlos like it did his dad in rallying but that’s neither here nor there

One last thing which might be so controversial but like I gotta say it. Checo hate is ridiculous, Yes he made the woman should be in the kitchen statement but you have to understand that was a long time ago and after that incident he apologized profusely and he even has an organization to help young women in motorsports and always mentions the women who work in motorsports. Yes he shouldn’t have said it in the first place but he has learned and grown and showed that he grew from that. It’s a lot more than some of the current drivers who have said or laughed at jokes at women’s expenses and never apologize. hate him for cheating, like honestly there’s a few drivers I don’t like because of cheating that’s just a moral thing on my end but I think the unnecessary hate is unneeded.

This just came to me while rereading this but also those people who compared Bianca being ableist to lando moaning in stream are mad weird. So obsessed too like yall are missing the whole point of why everyone’s upset just so you can whine about how you don’t like lando like he’s not a 25 year old man who can do what he wants. Lando being silly and horny on stream is not the same as using autism as a derogatory word towards another driver who is doing your dream job ((finishing 27th in your championship while your teammates all finished 1-2-3 is embarrassing) (don’t even get me started on her exploiting her brother))

carlos's mom -> yeah don't know what to say about this except she's a mom being a mom, and not realizing that her likes are public. can't speak to reyes and her ways, as i've said before i try not to pay too much attention to watch goes on outside of carlos really.

checo hate -> i know it exists but i havent come across it to get into detail. but wild loud hate on any driver i think is fucking ridiculous. like the haters who are loud and proud and harassing the driver?? theyre gross and pathetic.

hiii, i recently started following you and only started watching f1 a few weeks ago. I saw in one of your new posts you answered someone talking about charles dating Charlotte whose an influencer but you also mentioned his ex?? did something bad happen?

hi bestie welcome lol!!! i hope you’ve been enjoying it so far unless you’re Ferrari fan then L in the chat for us lol!!! okay tea below the cut i think i got everything. also all of the asks are tagged with #tea time 🫖 and you can scroll through & see it all!!

Recap:

Giada was Charles’ gf for 4 years (met through school) she was still with him when he got signed for Ferrari (2016) Giada’s friend (speculation of if they were friends or best friends still going on) was Charlotte. They did hang out a bit and were always on each others Insta stories but not consecutively but they did portray online as very close. Also Giada was very close with all the Leclerc family, she would attend holidays/hang with his brothers/ and was close with his mom (or got along with her well)

Then one day Giada posted on insta “Charles broke up with me to focus on his Ferrari career” on Instagram.

TWO WEEKS later Charlotte & Charles become insta official!!! so there’s speculation of cheating either physically or emotionally. So Giada looses a best friend and her boyfriend. And clearly the reasoning Charles gave Giada was not the truth because if he had to focus on his career then why get a new gf two weeks later & why is it one of her friends??? There’s speculation Charles maybe cannot be single [x] this tik Tok is his birth chart break down (if you’re into that) but it basically says “he will be a bachelor for a long time” but that can present in different ways so my take is he needs someone like a gf but doesn’t need to be all in, just a space filler if you will. Also no hate to Charles he’s literally my love. Also now when Charlotte goes on holidays with the families the pap pictures (which people believe Charlotte calls the paps or they both do lol to get photos together) but the photos always look awk & like Charlotte isn’t close with the family like Giada was.

Now Charlotte tea:

She has scammed people by selling alliexpress (a knock of online store) jewelry sets at real jewelry prices. She currently has her Etsy shop back up & reviews continue to say “items not like pictured”

She also will post ads & promotes herself right when Charles wins races so she has the most opportunity for reach & views. Exhibit A There is also a theory she’s a tax evader lol cause her father works for (may own not for sure) hotels//casinos in Monte Carlo which happens to be a place many wealthy people can get away with tax evasion but that’s her family so she may not be the one doing it lol.

And lastly TW!Weight talk TW!food Charlotte has also upset many of her followers (she also has a large amount of young gals following her) about the way she talks about “all the weight I’ve lost” or sharing a “what I eat in a day” that shows unhealthy eating habits. Nothing is wrong with posting these things or speaking about weight loss but the way she goes about it has the connotation of being better because of the changes not about being healthy.

Giada update/tea:

I’ve recently found out Giada has interesting (to say the least) family members (Her cousin) have been described as hateful and have said things publicly that they should have not. [X] here is a link to an old ask where someone explains it all perfectly!! Also she now has a new boyfriend they seem very happy together BUT he follows Charles & Charlotte on Insta & it is speculated they have had to be in the same room with Charles and Charlotte at hang outs (oh to be a fly on the wall for that lol) Giada has also been accused or speculated for having misogynistic views.

In conclusion:

There has also been issues with Charlotte copying if you will multiple things about Giada. Like similar dresses for events & such. But people say it’s become they have the same stylist or now Charlotte has Giada old stylist (Giada left, Charlotte right)

jacob is now in max's shoes. distressed dogboy that loves naught but his gf and also processed snack foods. this sad little woof woof finding a crop top and yoga pants and being like "oh hell yeah i can make this work" only to get murked by kaylee hackett on the other side of the island

emma is now in laura's position. she broke up with jacob the day before they managed to escape chris hackett's Jail for Dogs & Ne'er-Do-Wells and now she feels like she needs to alleviate his curse bc he's been pretty bummed out since. vlogging her entire trip to the hackett house with the expressed intent to murder a man

ryan is in abi's role. the suave announcements boy has been on his mind this entire time and the day that they both finally tell each other that they like each other, he gets infected with Says Really Mean Things And Attempts Homicide On You And Also Is A Werewolf disease. he's abt to start biting ppl fr

dylan is in a similar situation to nick. not only did abi just kiss him for no real reason at the firepit but finally when he tells the guy he's liked all summer that he likes him, he gets attacked by a fucking bear??? homophobia still has some shooters out there apparently! also he's saying rude things he doesn't mean and it hurts :(

abi is now filling emma's role. she and the cute australian guy have been flirting all summer but she seriously misfires bc she assumes that making him jealous would be what made him want to make things official. plus now she's wearing baggy-ass clothes and running from murderous animals(?) so things have been tough lately

nick is currently in jacob's situation. he planned on making tonight the night he asked abi to go steady, but completely forgot that this was the day they left camp, so he oopsie poopsies the van. whoops nick you did a fucky wucky and now people are dying! also he had to watch abi kiss a very vehemently gay man to make him jealous and also he's naked. bad night overall buddy

laura is in kaitlyn's shoes. she's literally the only person here with an okay response to trauma, although a bit skewed since she does also tend to shoot at the problem first. the bright side is that she gets to be with her boyfriend for most of the entire night, so that's neat! (and come on of course she would get after max for not knowing the hackett's quarry song)

max is now in dylan's role. he's mostly just scared shitless of kaitlyn so the speech over the intercom is part fear of the bears(?) and part fear that kaitlyn will stab him if he gets the terminology wrong. ready to lay down his life to protect his gf, even if he's abt to turn into a werewolf. he's gonna react even more severely to getting maced (febreezed) by abi though, although he can act. give the boy a hand (srsly he needs it)

kaitlyn stands where ryan stood in canon. she's so confused when abi gives her the dare to kiss either max or laura but honestly she thinks they're both cute so. when emma shows up she's like "wait where's jacob?" and emma's like "about that" and kaitlyn's like "ok so i'm going to go save my bestie and i want it known that i'm not a fan of u but i also do think you're gorgeous"

bobby now owns and runs hackett's quarry. after his duty was up, he came back and started the camp and has adored being a mentor to kids since. no one at camp ever saw him angry before the incident with the van and they're all literally terrified of him now

chris is the sheriff of northkill. he got appointed sheriff after the death of the previous sheriff in the fire at eliza's sideshow, and has taken the position very seriously, in exchange for keeping eliza and silas's secret (the whole werewolf thing), which is why he keeps jacob and emma over the summer

travis is constance and eliza's handyman. he's felt the need to be worthy of approval since birth, and has taken up to doing the dirty work for his mom as a way of proving himself. he's fully aware that being stabbed hurts and will do it again unprovoked

constance goes out hunting with travis. she fills the same role her husband did in canon. emma reminds her what happened to her husband and she threatens to torture her endlessly. also there's smth going on with eliza but idk they're gal pals

eliza fills the same role as constance did in canon. after the fire that burned down her sideshow and killed jedediah, constance offered to let her and her son silas stay with them. after emma kills silas during the night, she becomes silent with rage

kaylee is now the biggest threat of the hackett werewolves. she's filling in for her brother caleb. freeze-dried girlboss

silas is floating in the pool now. rip dogboy. also he was the one that convinced kaylee to start the fire. manipulative little shit

caleb is patient zero. after helping to rescue silas and eliza from the sideshow, caleb notices a bite on his leg. while running from the flames, the "dog man" (eliza's ex-husband) bit him. the dog man died in the fire, but the curse lived on, as caleb left his grandfather to die in the chaos

jedediah's taken up tarot since dying. he cursed his bloodline after seeing caleb and kaylee among the flames, refusing to save him, opting instead to save an albino boy and a woman that he barely knew. he's now trying to convince whoever is listening to off the vorez family, even at the cost of his own family. plus lance hendriksen would fucking slay this role i mean come on

~Leo is prone to randomly hyperfixating and spending 4 days at a time on one project and forgetting everything else including to eat or properly sleep so during that time only his big sister Reyna can get him out.

~Everyone is always extremely stressed when she's not there

~Hazel's refusal to make things for herself with her powers is short, she eventually makes matching bracelets/anklets for her and Frank

~Regardless of what Rick wrote, Aphrodite is actually accepting of all kinds of love and is happy that her daughter is finding herself

~Leo is asexual im not a fan of calypso so 🤷‍♀️[and bi romantic, he had a tiny crush on jason at one point]

~Jason tries to visit Lupa at least once a year

~Leo's biggest regret is not coming sooner to see Jason one last time.

~Piper and Leo hang out a lot more after that

~Reyna is and will always be surprised how close she got to Artemis once she joined the Hunters

~Thalia and Reyna bicker so much no one believes they're besties [or more if ya want]

~Also they're on camp roomates (omg they were roommates😏)

~Nico is somehow always near or in the infirmary when Will is working. They're excuses are always either 'I have a doctors note' or 'he's my emotional support human.'

~Nico mocks Will's accent and vice versa

~Nico goes apeshit whenever someone else mimics an Italian accent

~Both Will and Nico will cry at Disney movies

~Will may be a healer but he will slice you open w a scalpel

ok i dont have a specific character or ship but hit me with some of your SL hot takes girl

Ooh yes here’s a few that came to mind:

Luna is a solid protagonist. Haters gonna hate. People attack MCs for either being selfish/annoying or Mary Sues. And Luna is neither!! She cares so much for her friends and always puts the team before herself to the point where she even sacrifices a huge solo spot in s3 for the team (which may have been a bad decision from an outside perspective) but it shows her priorities are genuine. Also throughout the show we see plenty of her flaws, and she does suffer for her mistakes. Ámbar easily manipulates her because she’s always losing things, she has to work twice as hard to get her grades up, she practices non-stop to get to everyone’s skating level and sometimes doesn’t win. Her plans don’t always work out!! S3 got a bit too perfect for her and the Roller Team and I do wish there was more of a struggle there but out of the entire series you can’t say she didn’t earn her spot or deal with things not going her way. To me she worked hard to get where she was and nothing was easily handed to her. Not to mention her ability to forgive the ones who wronged her. That’s my baby and I really am proud!

I don’t like Matteo BUT I could fill in the gaps if I wanted to explain his behavior….but the writers should’ve done that and I don’t care enough to do it 😁 But at the end of the day he’s still part of the core four and from a story POV I find it hard to ignore him completely as their stories are so intertwined but to me Matteo’s the weakest link and my loyalties lie with Luna/Ámbar/Simón who’s individual arcs I think are way better and earned my sympathy. Matteo I’m just like please get over yourself 😭. That being said I’m a Gastteo bro besties/Mambar diva couple liker — I know make it make sense!! and sigh Lutteo - they do have chemistry, and of course I just want to see Luna happy. There are scenes I like of them and I do root for them in the end but what’s my other option? Michel ☠️? But I’m not attached to them and would love to hear other peoples HCs of her future that wouldn’t involve an endgame Lutteo. But I’m also fine with accepting canon - they were the least egregious in s3 and I’m willing to jump on board to make my viewing experience enjoyable. I guess it comes down to I don’t hate him enough to throw him overboard but he can walk the plank :)

Pedro is a nice character leave the old man guy alone lmao!!! Nico can go but Pedro is a sweet drummer boy who worships his gf Delfi and loves his bandmates. He’s a good friend and super silly like when he wears his dad’s oversized suit to help save the Jam & Roller? The fact that he dresses like the grungiest rock boy and he’s the softest softie?? Just give the boy his flowers and put it in his hair!

Jazmín and Emilia 5ver I CAN FIX THEIR ENDGAMES but you already knew this 😜

ANDYYYYY BESTIEEEEE. How I missed your angsty writing and the way you break my heart. No but like honestly, I just caught up with the last 3 chapters of We'll burn the Sky and bestie, I wasn't readyyyyyy for the pain you were going to put me through.

I have a lot of things to say so sorry if this is long.

Well first of all, I LOVE petty reader, I can't express how much I gasped when I saw the whole breakfast gate and Chrissy's reaction was just AAAAAAAHHH, she truly is an inspiration. I love that from the 3 series that I've read from you, they are so different. First we have LWTUA Reader, a strong, brave but also really broken girl that just has so much trauma but also so much love to give which is precisely what makes her the fiercest of fighters for who she loves; then we have Everlong reader, heartbroken, insecure but also strong in her own way, is no easy feature to see the man you love break your heart thousands of times and still be able to love him; and now we have this Reader, also traumatized, maybe not in the same way as LWTUA reader, but in a more realistic setting, everything about suicide, an abstent mother but just the lack of love in her life just creates a character that has to have a tough side to survive AND THATS WHY THE PETTINESS WORKS SO GOOD.

(This is more to share my personal experience relating to the part where she remembers what her mother taught her of not letting them see her cry or broken cause I also have that bad trait of not allowing/want to let people see me crying which has led to a lot of difficulty expressing my feelings and somehow I see this reader struggling with everything inside her, yes she is telling eddie how heartbroken she is, how hurt and betrayed he has left her but I also feel the hesitation and how much it would hurt to be betrayed in such a way by the one person you have allowed to share your heart with, idk I might be talking out of my ass here but that's how I interpret it)

Moving on with Steve... oh Steve, beautiful, innocent Steve. GET THAT DICK GIRL. I'm glad it happen, and I'm more glad that Eddie saw it, fuckkkkkkk himmmm. The fact that he didn't like immediately broke up with Chrissy when she showed up left me speechless, men really be telling you they love you like no one else but they'll let their gf (they didn't tell you they have) parade around their relationship and let her cuddle with them and also go to breakfast expecting everything is good and well???? Went to my best friends boy friends outer space/alien themed birthday party last night.

I posted a selfie in my costume with my location and the guy who asked me to be in a three-some with him and his gf messaged me.

He asked if I really was in the same city as him and I said yes and then he asked if he could come say hi before he heads to bed and I said yes.

He showed up and I went outside to say hi and we started talking and he said his gf is bi and she doesn’t care if he flirts with other girls or does whatever as long as he always goes back to her because she flirts with other girls and does whatever. He said he’s trying it out because if she does whatever with other girls then he’s okay with it as long as she’s not with any guys.

It’s weird but whatever.

So we started making out and he got really grabby but it felt so good and he was grinding on me and he already knows every single one of my kinks and he knew exactly what to do now that we finally seen each in person after so many years. It was getting really hot so he asked if there was somewhere we could go and I said the house party is full and there’s no privacy anywhere. He’s 100% dominant and I’m 100% submissive and we’ve done stuff over the phone and phone sex before but in person was better. And from what happened last night, it was amazing.

I’m not going to plan to spend time with him, if it happens then it happens and if it doesn’t then it doesn’t. If I have time to kill next time I’m in the city, he better hope he’s available.

alright so, my brother got a gf who's also artistic but she's like a professional artist, but we paint in different styles so it's fine. But she would often try to "help" me get better, which is already a wtf. But I stopped talking about my work cuz of her.

And there's been small things, silly things, I've done since i was a kid, like I'm the self anointed clown 🤡

But then she started doing those stuff, so I just completely stopped 🥲

And these were things that got my siblings to laugh, and now the gf got all that attention, and basically from the get go I just didn't like her, first impressions are sooo important

Cuz first thing she did when we were alone was just like come up close to me and tell me that my brother told her about all my past trauma, which btw? So fucking unnecessary? Like why? Is he thinking about this often? Is he OK?

But even more so what the actual fuck.

You don't go up to someone as like "I heard you were fiddled with as a kid, but I'm here for you"

Like what did she expect me to say? "Thank you woman I haven't heard much about and this is the first time I talk to you"

It's been 7 years since then, and I'm just... so uncomfortable with her.

But I don't want my brother to know and to be unhappy cuz yay he found someone who loves him, and she also got a kid and he's an amazing step dad.

And she is also good friends with my other siblings, but since she stepped so much over the comfort zone line, I'm constantly on guard.

Last time I met her she tried to get me to use oil paint or some more "natural" type and not acrylic... which I love to use, cuz I can mix it with water and it dries fast etc

She's even had the fucking audacity to try and "correct" my work, by just showing me the insta posts I've posted and go "if you did this, instead of that... it would look better"

We are both adults, but I have to hold back so much teen drama energy, mom knows about this, and I'm not gonna make a big deal and make drama, cuz my big sister says she's like this cuz she's trying me make me like her...

Cuz this is totally the right way to go about it -_-

One of the ickiest things she's done is at my big sister's wedding, we were all tipsy, and she sat down on my lap, I just held my hands up, if she was gonna fall, that would be on her, and she got like??? Teen drunk flirty, and I sure fucking hope my discomfort showed on my face.

Even fucking worse is that my brother, also drunk af, grabbed her by the waist and placed her on his and just went "she's mine"

Like no bro absolutely don't worry, even if she was single I'd never even hug her

She's so eugh

But ugh

I can be happy with that I never really see her, but that means I won't get to see my brother as much.

And even tho I want to lowkey show her I don't like her, I can't, cuz she will tell my brother, then he's gonna wonder why I'm like this, and prob get upset, then his mood have been ruined, what if this turns into a fight etc etc

MEDIA THREAD-FEBRUARY

A short month no doubt, spent most of it drawing (I gonna try to finish those wips I swear). Anyway:

14.-Hazbin Hotel (season 1)

I'm not someone who enjoys negative ranting on media. But oh my god I didn't like this show. Thankfully I watched this along side my GF and my Bestie but still, it was quite dreadful getting through this show. The script was annoying. All of those parodies about Vivzie's shows are true, there's always a swear in most sentences. It stops being funny and it becomes annoying, cringe even. I don't get this show, is it a comedy or a genuine attempt of making a social commentary??? It tries to tell a story about redemption and the value of change, but it doesn't have the pay off nor the build up to excel imo. For most of the runtime, this show barely attempts to dive deep into the nuance of the characters, most of the time if there is nuance to be found. It later decides to either treat it as a joke or rush to no end, lacking the payoff expected for serious issues like sexual and psychological abuse. The visuals were also kinda sucky. It has a unique style no doubt. But everything blends together when there's so much color overlap and over designed characters with similar motifs and color palettes. Most of the songs are alright on their own, but in the show itself, I only enjoyed like half of them. Yeah this show wasn't for me, and the more I think about it, the angrier I get ngl.

. #15.-Kimi ni Todoke (season 1)

Love letter to shojo media (? One of my favorite shows rn, it's so comfy, yet it still pulls them punches with the drama when it needs to. Every character is so loveable and the humor is wholesome fun. I really like how it develops the characters thru meaningful interactions and moments that pushes these teens foward. I'm loving this show, quite excited for S3 later on this year :]

#16.-Sonic Frontiers (main game replay and update 2 content playthrough)

I still really like this game! Admitedly, its luster did shine off a bit now that it's been a while since the original release. This time more cracks became more noticeable to me, particularly the plot itself is rather empty and on a second playthrough it brings the game down a tad bit. The last section in Ouranos island is veryy weak plot wise, even though I had a blast with the gameplay. I still believe that this is a cleverly designed game, but I wished it had more production values behind it. By far the main aspect that will age the game later on. This game kinda lacks the visual aesthetic and presence that many other games in this franchise have. Not only that, the new additions like the jump acceleration kind of made some of the open zone sections kind of dry... I really look foward to the next mainline game, this game is still the best step in the right direction it could've been. The update 2 content was also really fun! I really like the action challenges and the new kokos were neat to get. I mightttt need another replay to abuse the spindash to hell and back, but I still need to finish new horizons as of writing.

#17.-Sonic Frontiers: Final Horizons update

Damn was this a mixbag. I'm a bit underwhelmed ngl. It wasn't bad, but it kinda pushed the game to its absolute limits, and not in a pleasant way. The unrefinement from the main game is in an all time high. The new island content and characters are ok. Amy is fine for the most part, doe I wish she was able to wall climb. Knuckles was so much fun and I hope they use this template for future appearances. And Tails' tornado was so broken that made his sections redundant. I think everyone but knuckles kinda show the issues with the open zone. You can skip so much of the platforming that it kinda robs you from the main draw of the game. The new cyberspace levels are really cool!! But I did not enjoy completing the extra missions, they made the experience far more frustrating and unpleasant, not only that but you hardly even need to engange with cyberspace, but i'll get to it in a second. The new mixes are nice and the new levels are pretty sick and fun to speedrun but I still feel like they don't benefit from the asset re-use and the weird jank the game has.

The tower challenges were a bit of a mixbag, the platforming got a bit obnoxious on tower 2 and 4 ngl, but I did enjoy the trials. Trial 5 is no doubt quite infamous, but I actually found it fun, I liked figuring out how to minmax my time defeating the titans. It kinda show how clunky the parry and the animations are however, and yet, it also made me appreciate the enemy design and the combat way more than I already did! Finally, we got a new final boss battle, and it was alright? The spectacle was nice, but after all the things I had to do to even get there, I'd rather have the original ouranos island section as easy and anticlimatic it might've been. The new added story wasn't that much different either, just a tad more flashy with a bit more involvement from the main cast. Overall it was an ok addition, but I wished I didn't spent that much time doing the extra missions and stuff, many of the parts of this update lacks the incentive I desired and at times, the payoff I expected. Which is why it felt underwhelming for me. I hope the next game is an improvement over final horizons, if this is going to be the main base for the forseeable future, then there's still work to be done.

#18.-Super Mario Bros (NES)

I'm starting to play more retro games as of lately since I really want to have more games that I can replay whenever I want a quick gaming session aside from Mega man and Sonic. So I'm want to try the 2D Mario games since admitedly, I was never a Mario guy (If you couldn't tell by my Sonic fanatism). 2D Mario has never grabbed my attention since it is rather vanilla and the "new super mario" series also left a very bad taste in my mouth just like everyone else growing up. Anyway, og super mario on NES was fun tbh. It is quite challenging for modern standards, but I found plenty to like tbh. The potential for further replays is hampered by those tight physics doe, I'm already playing SMB3 (I'm gonna skip 2 for the time being tbh) and I can already tell that the control was pretty tight in this first game. Hammer bros are really agressive too. I'm glad I'm finally beat this game, even though it cramped my hands like a MF bc I played this on a 3DS.

#19.-Kimi Ni Todoke (Season 2)

THIS WAS PRETTY GOOD, the drama got pretty interesting and it developed the characters extremely well. It has a ton of nuance that I want to rewatch and admire all over again ngl. Left extremely soft after watching it. Can't wait for season 3

Bestie what happened 😭

ALRIGHT i'm going to give the most brief timeline of events this year that i can 😭 this comes with light trigger warnings for abuse, sa, poor mental health + associated behaviors. i think that's it.

JANUARY: celebrated my one year anniversaryyy with the love of my lifeeee and honestly everything was fine. i was having fights with my mom but generally things were good. i was gearing up for my last semester of college and going around and it was good!

FEBRUARY: again it was FINE i was starting to panic about my life changing but that's normal. early in the month i started getting harrassed by my ex-boyfriend and it became a whole situation. but i was still okay. i was working my dream job as a paid internship and planning to move but not stressing too much because i had everything in order!

MARCH: march actually came and went really fucking fast. a lot happened and my gf was playing lacrosse so it was a blur of finishing up coursework and watching so!! much!!!! lacrosse!!! + a whole field of other spring sports. again there was more with my mother siding with my ex but that came and went.

APRIL: april was my birthday month! had a birthday, and then the panic really started to set in. i was searching for apartments in washington dc but my heart really wasn't there because my mother was in the area. everything got a little slower when my gf suffered an injury from lacrosse and was ordered rest. also the harrassment from my ex increased tenfold but the first part kind of culminated here. overall, it was okay.

MAY: i graduated!! it was not as joyous as i thought it would be because i wasn't rich in family or friends, but it was okay. at a grad party, i was taken advantage of and humiliated. it was more impactful than it should have been. i was ashamed and trying to forget it happened. i wasn't coping too well. at the time everything going on just turned into a puddle of mental wreck. it got to a point that i was having daily anxiety attacks and in a bad place. i adopted a cat though!

JUNE: so i thought the ex situation was over but! it wasn't! this guy found my address through his friends and showed up at my place regularly, would non-stop call and text me from different phone numbers, would threaten me and my girlfriend, etc. he even found out about my sa from the month prior and attempted to use it to humiliate me, on top of so much other bullshit. my mother was fully on his side at this point and the whole situation made my mental health plummet. i felt so fucking scared all the time. another thing to note is that he got married in april (which was a leading cause of the fight we had then) and was still married at this point. it felt awful to know that we had both "moved on" and i was still stuck in cycles of his abuse.

JULY: i was supposed to move in june, but complications prevented me from doing so until july. so in july i moved from new jersey to washington dc! it was honestly huge for me. i lived in the dmv area during my teen years, so it was refreshing. my girlfriend had gone for the first time the prior year when she was helping me after i went low contact with my mother. my girlfriend and i moved into our first place together and we loved it. i was working my dream job for real and kate was taking up work as an artist and it was one of the best months of my life. all of the stress i had slowly started to fade out.

AUGUST: there were some complications here. we found out that my gf's injury wasn't healing right and would require surgery. which was fine. we were tight financially, as an artist and a writer often are, so i started waitressing again, which was my student employment job of choice during college. my girlfriend got surgery and started physical therapy, so she was recovering well. everything was still okay.

SEPTEMBER: in september my mental health began to tank again without much rhyme or reason. after seeing my mother for the first time in months, i decided to go no-contact with her because it went terribly. the whole thing filled me with so. much. guilt. my father passed away when i was a kid, so cutting my mother out felt worse than it should have. i was barred from seeing my younger sister until she turned eighteen (but she is thankfully so understanding) and everything just felt like a wreck. at this time i also had to take a break from my dream job because it wasn't making ends meet. my girlfriend and i were experiencing some personal conflicts but it was nothing huge. it was mostly just added pressure on top of everything that had already happened.

OCTOBER: october was a wreck of a month. my girlfriend and i quickly recovered from our spats but my mental health wasn't getting any better. i couldn't afford therapy and things were getting bad faster than i could handle them. it was a vertical battle. essentially i abandoned everything that wasn't absolutely necessary and began living in a perpetual routine of working shifts that could go on upwards of twelve hours, several times a week... cooking dinner from nothing... cleaning... making minimal conversation... and downing energy drinks so i could do it all again. any semblance of life that i had just simply felt like it was gone. all of the things i was looking forward to? gone. at the end of the month, there was an emergency in my girlfriend's family and we had to make an emergent trip to boston.

NOVEMBER: cont'd. so we went to boston and stayed for about a week (this was actually the time when my phone broke lmao). i had to go back because we'd left our cat in the care of friends and had to sort some things. kate stayed in boston. i came back to learn that i'd lost my waitress job and would lose my apartment without proof of income. so i made the spur of a moment decision to pack some of our things, deal with the rest, grab the cat, and come up to boston indefinitely.

flash forward to december, things are getting better. it's still difficult. it's getting better. and hopefully next month things will be great. hopefully next year everything will be okay again. but all is well, besties ✨ and god that was long! oopsies.

Skipping to the loud gym, your skirt swishes against the fat of your thighs. Your cute ass can be seen peeking out from under the pleated fabric, leaving those around you to coo at your pretty self. Without meaning to, you catch the eye of those around you.

Seeing the gym’s doors, you push them open with an excited vigour, happy to finally be with your big brother and boyfriend.

Immediately when you enter, you see Oikawa being swarmed with his fanclub, leaving a straight shot to the rest of the team. Spotting your bad-boy bf, you squeal in delight, gunning at him at top speed. He’s currently sitting on the bleachers, your brother seemingly scolding him for his RBF and bad attitude, but his eyes snap up in an instant, recognising your voice from anywhere.

An uncharacteristic smile is present on his pierced face, standing to his feet, he readies himself to catch you and twirl you around. That’s a plus of being in shape; picking up your supes cute gf whenever you please!

That is, until a certain pretty boy steps in the way.

Tooru has his arms out, in a stance that will allow him to catch you with ease. Before you could slow down and avoid him, he yoinks you up and off of the floor, holding you in a tight embrace, “(Your Name)-chan! I knew you’d come visit me! I’ve been waiting all day for you, Cutie!” The glares from your boyfriend and brother are instantaneous.

Iwa looks ready to scalp the brunet, whilst Ken looks ready to scrap-possibly even catch a body. Oikawa’s fans look absolutely bloodthirsty, jealous of your cute self being in the arms of the equally cute male.

Pouting, you push at the pretty boy’s chest, “Put me down! I’m not here for you!” He coos at you, moving in to kiss you on the cheek, only for you to push him away by his face, “Stop it, you’re being weird! Put me down, I wanna see Ken-Chan!”

By this point, your boyfriend and brother have made their way to you, ready to rip him to shreds, “Put my sister down, Shittykawa! Don’t be a perv!” He karate chops the starlet on the head, causing him to drop you in surprise.

“Iwa-Chan! You’re so mean to me! Now look what you did, (Your Name)-Chan is hurt-” Kentarou catches you in an instant, cradling you in his scarred arms. Oikawa’s mouth gapes in shock, brain not computing the fact that the dyed haired male moved at lightning speed.

“No, she ain’t,” He gruffs out, smooching you on the cheek. You giggle, hugging the tatted male tightly. Your (size) breasts smoosh against his buff chest, as you start to pepper kisses all over his face, “She ain’t ever gettin’ hurt if I’m here,” He places a kiss on your lips, relishing how you immediately kiss back.

“Ken-Chan! I missed you so much!” He rolls his eyes, the tips of his ears turning red. Readjusting his hold on you, he cradles your ass instead of your thighs, causing you to gasp, “Kyoutan, don’t be a perv!”

He smirks, readying himself to respond, only for your brother to beat you to it, “Yeah, ‘Kyoutan,’ don’t be perving on my little sister!” Redirecting his smug look, he sticks his tongue out at your fuming sibling.

“Bite me.”

The look on Hajime’s face is priceless, “Biting you isn’t the only thing you need to worry about-”

“Haji,” His attention immediately snaps to your sweet face, which is currently pouting, “Don’t threaten him! He’s precious to me!” Before Kyoutani can say something smart, you rest your head against his neck, practically nuzzling him, which also shuts him up.

The spikey haired ace is immediately offended, “I-wha-(Nickname), aren’t I precious to you? Aren’t I your most wonderful older brother?” You giggle, nodding your head.

“Yes! But Ken-Chan is baby-”

“(Nickname)-Chan, aren’t I baby?! I feel so left out!” Oikawa and his fangirls are off to the side, watching the interaction. Whilst Oinks looks positively offended and left out, the girls are angry that you’ve stolen the captain’s attention.

“No, you’re the ugly side character,” Hajime states nonchalantly.

“Yea, yer uglier than the dirt under (Your Name)’s shoe,” Offended noises and indignant hand movements follow their words, as his fans start to shout in anger and shock.

You lightly whack Kyoutani on the shoulder, scolding him with your eyes, “Haji, Kyoutan, don’t be mean! Tooru is pretty,” The setter preens in delight, “But, he’s dumb. So, he’s the dumb, but pretty, character!”

His hands grasp his chest as if you’d stabbed him, “(Nickname)-Chan, my heart, it’s breaking-” He fake gags, causing your brother and boyfriend to roll their eyes, “The only way to fix it…. Is to get a kiss!” He bolts towards you, causing you to shriek in surprise. Placing you on your feet, you’re quickly placed behind the dyed haired man, ‘Mad Dog’ making an appearance.

Practically frothing at the mouth, he snarls at Oikawa, whilst Hajime sticks out his foot, effectively tripping him. Once falling, the pierced male yanks him up by his shirt collar, and hauls him up to his feet. Now face to face with the scary male, Oikawa gulps in fear, “I’ll kill ya, put ya in the ground, Pretty Boy. Once yer dead, Iwaizumi’ll dance over yer corpse.”

“Yes, I think I will,” Hearing his bestie agree with the sentiment, Oinks finally realises that he messed around too much.

“Now, yer gonna apologise to (Your Name), or I’ll shave yer head,” Now fully standing, Kyoutani moves out of the way, allowing the setter to apologise face-to-face.

Dropping to his hands and knees, he starts to bow at you as if you’re royalty, “I’m sorry, (Your Name)-Chan! I promise I didn’t mean to offend you! Please don’t let Mad Dog-Chan and Iwa-Chan kill me!” Giggling at his over the top words, you nod your head.

“It’s okay, Tooru-Chan,” You pat his head reassuringly, “I know you love your fangirls more than me,” This causes the gym to erupt into cheers, as the other girls start to swarm the male. You can hear him scream in fear, but are quickly pulled away from the crime scene, and taken out to the car park.

Your brother holds you close to him, glaring at your boyfriend who looks equally as angry. There’s a heavy silence between the three of you, as you’re squished into a hug by your brother.

“Haji, why’re you holding me so tight? Don’t you have to get back to practice?” He doesn’t answer, instead speaking to your boyfriend.

“Take her home, Kyoutani. I’ll deal with him now, you can deal with him later,” He nods, taking you from your older brother’s arms, and practically carrying you to his motorcycle. Setting you on the back of the bike, he opens the back hatch of the bike, and pulls out your pastel pink helmet. Placing it onto your head tenderly, he flips the eye cover up, allowing you to see him clearly for a moment.

Smiling up at him (he can only see your eyes crinkle), you speak, “Hi!” His pissed off face immediately dissolves, causing him to smile at your cute self.

“Hi, Baby,” Grabbing his rough hands, you interlace your fingers between his.

“Aren’t you going to practice, Kyo-Ken?” He rolls his eyes, but gives your hands a squeeze.

One Punch Man ship reviews bc I’m bored

WARNING: BIG ONE PUNCH MAN WEBCOMIC AND MANGA SPOILERS

GenoSai: do I even have to say it?? They compliment each other so well and are already besties. They make me so happy and I love their love. Genos literally came into Saitama’s life and brought so much new life and excitement when Saitama thought he’d never get any. Genos gives him love and appreciation all the time and never abandons him. Saitama isn’t connected to his feelings, but he cares about Genos and would do just about anything for him, to keep him safe. Genos constantly teases Saitama and Saitama grumbles and takes it with some banter, Genos is super emotional and Saitama does his best to comfort him, they fucking love shopping together and just hanging out period, they talk about the dumbest shit and somehow they still understand each other with the one brain cell they both share. It takes Genos forever to realize his feelings are deeper and Saitama has to be TOLD by their friends that he should fucking realize his feelings already. Just...I could keep going but I’ll stop! 2718873737839439/10 (let’s not talk about the age gap btw, 6 years isn’t bad and Genos is a legal adult.)

FubuSai: the stereotypical straight ship ppl gravitate to. Eh. I can see it, but at the same time I feel like they don’t completely compliment each other. Are they a hot couple? Duh. But I feel like their pride and communication issues would get in the way. 4/10

TatsuSai: hnghhhh. Someone mentioned this before, can’t remember who, but Saitama literally thinks she’s a child in canon. So that just....makes it gross. Same problems as FubuSai but worse. I’d rather see them as hesitant friends w a weird bond. 0/10

SonSai/SonicSai/idk the ship name: eh, toxic. Cant see them getting past communication issues and pride, again. Plus Sonic wants to kill his ass. Also, I just feel no romantic tension?? Even in fanfic it just falls flat for me. 3/10

MumenSai: a favorite!! Wish I saw it more, it’s very cute. Mumen is so kind and would absolutely be there to help him w self esteem and just help him be a better person period. And Saitama would have a cute little kind guy to tease and open up to. I could maybe see Mumen’s kindness getting on Saitama’s nerves when he’s in a bad mood bc Mumen almost never snaps and Saitama feels shittier, or maybe Mumen being mad at Saitama for being kinda lazy at home while Mumen is working his ass off and he’s like babe I just got home, please stop playing the fucking game and pay attention to me I have a concussion again. Prob too nitpicky on this one, heh, but 8.4/10

Genos x Sonic: wtf? As a crack ship, sure. That’s hilarious. But as a serious ship, 1.3/10 bc I could MAYBE see them bond over their love of my chemical romance or sum.

TatsuKing: eh. Indifferent on this one too. I can see them getting along and Tatsu being the mean but supportive gf in public, but a sweet gf in private. FubuPsy/Fubuki x Psykos/idk: hell yeah!! This series NEEDS more wlw ships, both for me to project onto and to cry over. Prob my fav Fubuki ship, cuz they’ve known each other since they were young and had a tenuous friendship. I didn’t use to ship it until I saw that scene in the wc after the MA arc (u know the one) but here we are. They’re big personalities so any interaction is bound to be chaotic at first, but I really think they’d work. Pride put to the side, Psykos could be someone for Fubuki to finally rely on other than the Blizzard Bunch, someone to confide in, a badass partner to fight monsters with, talk about nothing for hours with, be a super fashionable #girlboss couple with, and someone who would really see her for who she is-especially w Psykos knowledge of her from the past. Hell, Psykos might even know her better than Tatsumaki. Fubuki could be an anchor to her like she currently is in the wc, providing a quiet comfort and making her open up little by little. Would prob be toxic at first bc of the MA arc and their desire for power, but is a very good ship I think. 9/10

Speedal/Sonic x Mumen: an old fav! Sonic would have a hard time not hating Mumen at first bc he’s the picture definition of a hero, sum he hates. But hanging out with him would show him Mumen is a GOOD guy genuinely and he’d be like ohhhh shit I’m in love w this man. Mumen would thoroughly appreciate someone to make him live a little, break some rules and stand up to ppl when they talk over him. He’d DEFINITELY be upset when finding out Sonic is an assassin, but would prob be conflicted bc he knows Sonic is a good person despite that. Would prob make Sonic give up on killing for them to be together. Sucks bc of the assassin thing and bc they haven’t met in canon! So we’re not sure how they’d interact with each other, sigh. 7.4/10

Okamaitachi x Bushidrill: a very underrated ship! To be clear, I headcanon Kama as a trans woman and so does most of the fandom. Anyway, very sweet and already built as a friendship bc of their partnership under Atomic Samurai. I can’t remember who writes fic and makes art of them on tumblr but AAAAA it’s so good! Very sweet. Basically depicted Bushi as a nervous himbo who’s honest about his feelings but scared to say them and Kama as a sweet lady who’s crazy about Bushi. Very sweet. Want more of them!! 6.1/10

OneZon/Zombieman x One Shotter: never even thought of the ship till I saw @megidolan art work! Very wholesome, and from what little we know of Shotter we know he’s a sort of nervous yet strong willed guy, and Zombieman would totally help him calm down bc he’s so chill. I could see them sharing cigarettes and talking shit on heroes while cuddling u know? 7/10 only because I don’t see enough of it but very good concept.

Mumarou/Mumen x Garou: a lot of ppl are gonna hate me for this but....I don’t like it. I’ve tried! I just—idk. I’ve read so many good fics about them that make me like it a bit, but the concept is just eh. I think their relationship is, in most reps, really cliche angsty stuff. I wish I could elaborate I just...gah! Basically, there’s better ships for the both of them imo. Sorry!! 4.3/10

Sonic x Flashy/SonFlash: yes!! Prob my fav Sonic ship. They have soooo much tension, it’s almost worse than Genos’ tension w Saitama. Flashy LITERALLY poisoned Sonic so that he wouldn’t be forced to kill him at the ninja graduation. He cares. They’ll never say it out loud, but they care. They have someone who understands what they went through in each other and someone they’re both so similar to, yet so different from. Sonic is more vocal about his expressions and let’s people know it while Flashy often keeps things to himself, they could really influence the other to be more this or that. I could see a lot of comfort with these two, and not much is needed for relationship development; they already have so much unspoken between them after meeting for the first time in years. Love it. Wish I saw it more! 10/11

KingSai: wonderful! Out of the few ppl Saitama is close to, def my second fav pick for a ship for him. There’s a post saying how Saitama doesn’t cut King off when he’s going on rants about games and stuff bc he’s talking TO Saitama, not at him like Genos tends to do on accident. They’re already great buddies! Saitama could find a shy gamer man who he can talk to about manga and stuff and also a passionate bf who could break out of his shell w Saitama and be himself with no lies. King can have someone to protect him, duh, someone who finally understands his weird sense of humor, and someone to shower him in the love and kindness he deserves when Saitama is in the mood to be all out like that w his affections. Plus he’s Saitama’s anchor and brings him back down when he’s super anxious and depressed and tells him what’s up that he needs to fix without sugarcoating it. Would def have a bunch of inside jokes and go on dates that are just staying inside playing video games all night. Domestic af. 10/10

Fubuki x Mizuki: my first wlw Fubuki ship! Hard to find but very good. Mizuki is this big ball of kindness, energy, and raw power that would make Fubuki go ‘Ohhhhhhh, big pretty lady make brain go brrr.’ I could see Mizuki grounding Fubuki when she’s in over her head, giving her random gifts bc she saw sum and thought of her, doing a marathon run and wildly waving at Fubuki in the crowd, and all around being a dependable woman confident in herself and in love with a mysterious esper. Prob a little shy when it comes to anything physical bc she loves Fubuki so much and is overwhelmed by the realness of being w her. Fubuki gives Mizuki advice on ‘acting like a proper hero’ or whatever and though Mizuki thinks she doesn’t need it, Fubuki still helps her a lot w her career and being taken more seriously by others. Would give Mizuki someone who loves her for who she is and would go wild on her in private when she can be open about her affection, would be someone Mizuki could exercise with and listen intently to Mizuki’s physical knowledge, and would absolutely bandage her when she’s all banged up. Hnghh love this ship. It’s only behind the FubuPsy ship juuuuust a little bc they haven’t met in canon so we can’t be sure about their interactions and stuff. 8.8/10, I love WOMEN

Batarou: how could I go this far without mentioning them?! They have SOOOO much tension in the centichoro fight, like come on. Both snarky assholes who are huge softies one the inside, Badd being the more logical one (still a himbo, tho) and Garou being the more chaotic one. Probably take forever to admit their feelings bc they’re so prideful and stupid <3 flirt through constant wrestling matches and it takes Genos saying ‘they should kiss already, they’re getting on his nerves’ for them to finally realize what’s up. (@rayadraws has a great au where Garou Genos and Badd are a chaotic friend squad and Genos is the only brain of the group, haha. Very good au y’all check it out!) Would constantly pick on each other affectionately and switch into concerned SO when the other is hurt like the big teddy bears they are. Raise Zenko together for sure. Garou would fumble being romantic and Badd would find it both hilarious and cute. 11/12

Zombie mask/Amai x Zombieman:

So. I don’t like Amai Mask and I used to hate him, BUT the webcomic and fic have really helped me calm down on him (he’s still a dick tho), so it’s easier to want to ship him and stuff. Bc of Amai’s anger issues and controlling behavior, I could see this relationship being super toxic and icky—but I think they have some form of understanding that pulls Amai back from being a complete dick, you know? Start off as fuck buddies and slowly form something else from spending companionable time together other than screwing. Zombieman pulls Amai back from his angry fits and soothes him over with his logic. Talk maaaaaad shit about heroes, but only when they’re alone because Zombieman knows Amai will talk loud af about the heroes they’re roasting and Zombie doesn’t wanna stop a fight from happening. Zombieman loves making Amai flustered and has a secret check list in his head of all the things that get Amai red faced. Loves to listen to Amai rant about things for hours and loves to watch his face go through almost cartoon like expressions as he talks. He won’t admit it, but Zombie loves to be spoiled by Amai’s shit tons of cash and often takes rides in Amai’s limos when he wants to smoke and think to himself. Amai has a hard time realizing how his feelings have changed, but gets hit hard with it when he wakes up to Zombie making them breakfast one morning while wearing Amai’s underwear. Amai also loves to spoil Zombie and takes him out to restaurants and buys him cool new weapons on the weekends. @batneko has pretty much gotten me into this ship and I strongly suggest looking at their works! 7.9/10

DemonKnight/Genos x Zero/Drive Knight: I’m pretty sure this used to be a crack ship before the past like 10 manga chapters—and now here we are! Not a fav bc 1. ZERO LEFT GENOS TO SELF DESTRUCT AFTER THEY COMBINED TO FORM THE FUCKING JET HE WAS JUST LIKE lol bye SO LIKE if he left him to die that’s super hard for me to forgive and ship grrr 2. Disregarding the manga’s canon and looking at the wc, while I love the little trip they went on where Zero demonstrated his abilities and helped Genos kill monsters, it’s super sus. He knew alllll of this info on Metal Knight and was super supportive and understanding when Genos said he needed time to think. Like,,,what are his intentions? We know so little about him—is he trying to trick Genos or was he being sincere? THAT STUFF ASIDE, they’re a really fun ship. They’re both huge fucking nerds and can keep up with their talk on robotics for hours, they’re both cyborgs so they understand each other’s pain, and they’re both super cool and angsty. I think they could really settle into a deep bond that can go platonic or romantic, just depends. Genos needs more ppl in his life so hell yeah! Plus, he can really let go with Zero bc they don’t have that teacher/student relationship and Zero, if he’s really a sincere and kind guy like in the wc, can be there for Genos and listen to him. Don’t have much to say on this ship other than @wellthisisembarrassing makes GORGEOUS art of them! 6.3/10

Webuiko/Suiko x Webigaza: YEAH I KNOW THEY HAVENT INTERACTED IN CANON AND WE DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM BUT HEAR ME OUT. Webigaza—cool af determined cyborg idol who’s surprisingly down to earth when talking with Child Emperor. Suiko—sassy and honest fighter who doesn’t take shit and is very passionate. Suiko would go to talk to Web then immediately freak out bc aaaa she’s way prettier than she thought, she can’t do this! Web would have to gently encourage Suiko to talk and at first is like ‘ah man, must be an adoring fan, ugh I’m so tired. At least she’s hot’ but when Suiko snaps out of her shyness Web is like oh! She’s super cool wtf. Always bump into each other during fights and help each other get fixed up, Suiko using her muscle power to lift Web’s pieces (and give Web a great view of Suiko’s muscles holy SHIT) and Web would patch Suiko up. Not to be stereotypical, but they’re def a masc/femme couple. I love the idea of this ship soooo much and I really hope they interact! 6.6/10 only bc they haven’t met 😭😭😭 look them up on here! There’s some great art of them by a few blogs

Dr. Kuseno x Bang: pretty sure @baldyborg came up with this one! Super cute. Just two old dudes finding a nice friendship in each other, maybe after Bang helps carry Genos to Kuseno’s after a day of fighting. Bang would find Kuseno to be a very cute little nerd man and would be sooo impressed by Kuseno’s mad scientist skills. Kuseno would be super impressed when seeing Bang in action too. They’d prob talk as soon as they meet each other and Genos would be in the background like you guys it’s been an hour, please fix me I’m on the verge of death 🧍🏻Bang would give Kuseno advice on training techniques to teach Genos and advice on making his bodies more martial arts ready or sum, meanwhile Kuseno would give his take on how to be kinder to Garou so that Bang would learn to repair the relationship with a gentleness he’s seemingly lacking (yes I’m talking about the chapter where he and Garou start fighting and Bang is just not doing enough to reach out to Garou, he’s being a callous old man! So yeah I’m still mad about that). Genos and Saitama would prob be out on a date and Saitama would be like oh theres Bang, wonder what he’s doing? Then Kuseno would walk up and kiss Bang and Genos and Sai would be shocked like SIRS 👬 Genos would tell Bang he doesn’t need another adoptive dad and Bang would be like....ok.... I see them retiring in a cottage together and Bang would become a huge softie. Yes I’m actively ignoring chapter 141 of the wc, shut up. 7.6/10

TankTop master x Mumen: they have a nice friendship going on in the manga right now! Just bros supporting bros. Tank is the picture definition of a muscly himbo and Mumen is his cute passionate bf. Also workout buddies af!! Don’t have much to say other than pretty good ship, just not a fav. 5.2/10

SaL anon here friend and while I would call last night's episode a mixed bag, I definitely thought the good outweighed the bad. Really the only part in the bad category was the L of it all, but there was sooo damn much of it. I know we keep saying how strong the S3 M*ria vibes coming off L are but MY GOD last night really went hard on them. The way her "I don't care I saved someone, I wanted it to look cooler" attitude reminded me of "I don't care if I kill someone, I need to know who to TBC

save in my visions" made me want to break something. In what universe are we supposed to like this character after that?? Ugh, and I won't even touch AR's "why are you guys reducing me to a LI?" comments 🙄. On to the good stuff!! I don't think we've ever seen the Buckley-Diaz family look sooo damn family shaped. And not just for a scene or two, for the whole episode!! Buck just so easily jumps into Dad/husband mode it's ridiculous, and NO ONE questions it (not even his gf). And the heart scene??!! Honestly WTF was that, tell me again KR how am I supposed to interpret that scene? To borrow a very accurate tag, no romantic undertones my whole ass. While I would have liked to see more Buck and Chris scenes, I loved the Diaz boys interactions so I won't complain too much. And then Bobby and Eddie talking?? Madney slowly finding their way back to each other? Unexpected icing on the happiness cake. Finally, pretty sure i've got this week's song 😘.

Bestie, hiiii!!! The good definitely outweighed the bad last night though in what seems to be the running theme of season 5, the good was GOOD, but the bad was BAAAAAAAD. In news that shocks absolutely no one except KR apparently, when it's actually focused on the mains, the show comes back to sparkling life! While every moment with L (and tay kay) sucks that life right back out of the show. 🤷🏻‍♀️

...am I? Am I manifesting season 3 m*ria vibes by mistake?! Is the universe taking me out of context like it did with Buck and the dishwasher?! Seriously this episode was just an RNM season 3 nightmare! Woman complains and pouts about something she has no business complaining or pouting about while being entirely self-centered? Everyone else tripping over themselves to make sure they mention her every time she's not in frame? Make it stooooop!! But seriously, WTF was that?! That was supposed to make her, a supposed veteran of the force who is used to dangerous rescues and should know all about how luck plays into things, look sympathetic? Like, "I couldn't have done this rescue without getting lucky so what does it even matter if someone lived"?! Girl,

Also cackling about her being like, "I'm more than a love interest" while bringing literally nothing to the table besides sticking her tongue in Buck's mouth within 5 minutes of meeting him, and being the one who has been perpetuating this whole "sexual tension" thing this whole time! ANYWAY.

Also, them cutting Chim's "like I never left" after putting it in every promo? Not having Hen and everyone making a big deal about his first shift back?! No elaborate cake of the united states with a little car driving across it?! All so, what? L could have 5 scenes doing nothing? Howard "Chimney" Han deserves SO much better, and so does Kenneth Choi. At least him and Maddie got to be on screen together again which was, as always, so so good.

Moment. with Eddie was stunning, show stopping, amazing, etc. Gavin has always been good but him and Ryan are really taking things to the next level right now and it's a DELIGHT to see. I LOVED the scene with Bobby too, though my small gripe on that was, if we were going to have a big talk this episode, the emotional beat would have hit better if they hadn't told us they had talked beforehand, but not shown it. If they had shown the talk being a bit awkward and Bobby still being cold, then given us Bobby still being there for Eddie, OR not being told that Eddie apologized, and then seeing Bobby still stepping up to help out because "that's what family does, Eddie" would have hit that beat a little more on the head, BUT it was a great scene.

And the Buddie moments?! What kind of fanfiction fever dream was every single Buck and Eddie interaction?! Aside from Buck having to trade favors with his gf so KR can remind the audience she exists, it was NOTHING but romantic undertones. God, not even undertones! I saw someone say that if a guy took them to a horse therapy place to help their son, and help them start healing, they would absolutely assume the guy was in love with them, and they would be in love right back. Like, that is a FAMILY! Just two husbands and their son.

I'm SO excited to see what song you have for this week! I swear, every other SaL song I listen to I'm like "Oh! This is Eddie!" ....*5 minutes later* "Oh! This is Eddie!", but your choices are always on point! I'll let you know if the two that were in particular stuck in my head today happen to be what you pick!
