TCM headcanons I have that no one asked for:
Pre-Nam Chop Top works at a record store to bring in some money for the family. Absolutely enjoys his job.
Johnny totally loves rock and metal. Chop Top has gifted him many records of his favs since he works at a record store. Definitely something Johnny looks forward to when it’s his birthday or Christmas
Speaking of which, Johnny enjoys music ranging from Metallica, Megadeth, Exodus, Misfits, etc. to Entombed, Death, Bathory, etc.
But who he dearly holds to his heart is Ted Nugent.
Would absolutely slobber all over Ted Nugent’s dick. Like serious super-fan of Ted Nugent.
Chop Top and Nubbins would totally adore The Garden.
What more could you ask for? Two twins who make some good ass music and dress up, Nubbins and Chop Top resonate with that.
Will beg Sissy and Bubba to do their makeup like Wyatt and Fletcher. Doesn’t matter the look, they want it on their face!
They all have fun doing this and they will sing their bad covers of their songs.
Johnny would get sad listening to Superheaven, but he is addicted to them. No bad songs, he loves them.
Drayton has a thing for Jim Morrison. Come on baby, light his fire!
No one needs to know this detail about him, they would never let him live it down.
Sissy sees a sister-like relationship in Bubba more than a brotherly relationship. She will go to him for her problems and complaints that would fall on deaf ears to the rest of her family.
Sissy would love it if Johnny could secure a girlfriend, but he would rather use them and dump them in a ditch.
They have gotten into many fights over this, Sissy just wants another woman in the house besides Nancy’s old ass!
But Bubba will suffice until that day comes.
Speaking of Bubba, he loves to play games!
Gets the family together for Just Dance, but it mostly ends in Johnny opting out and the twins being mean and fighting during Just Dance.
Makes Bubba cry, all he wanted was to spend quality time.
Johnny feels bad and will absolutely bust his ass to Cotton Eye Joe to make Bubba laugh.
Surprisingly a good dancer, it is weird.
Mario Party is CHAOTIC.
Ends in Johnny strangling Chop Top and Nubbins trying to get Johnny off of him.
Chop Top talks too much shit. He is the king of Shit Talking.
Sissy will laugh her ass off while Bubba gets super worried.
Drayton threatens to take their game away if they don't quiet down.
If Johnny was not batshit crazy, he and Leland would totally do the Cotton Eye Joe dance at a party.
Like two Western men.
They would make every heart swoon, on some real shit.
They would be an iconic, powerful duo. Lets be honest here, they would be unstoppable.
Too bad Johnny is too far gone to even be normal lmao.
Chop Top and Sissy smoke weed together and will talk about life. It's their way of escaping.
Drayton has caught them before but he lets them be. They all have their own ways of escaping their minds.
Drayton has totally used the devil's lettuce himself when he was younger, so he knows he can’t condemn them.
Will still act irritated about it.
Cant forget about Nubbins!
Kid is hyper, absolutely fucking haywire that even Chop Top can’t keep up sometimes.
Used to be self conscious of his birth mark when he was more self aware, but as he started to lose his sanity, he stopped caring.
Has tried to cover it up with makeup but none of the foundation will cover it up well enough.
Very impulsive and will forget tasks if he’s in the middle of something.
Let’s just say he was making himself a sandwich and Drayton asks for him to check the traps, he would forget about his sandwich the entire day until Johnny or Drayton complained that he wasted food.
He cant help it! He forgot!
Bubba makes sure that no harm falls upon the barn cats. He loves them! Would cry for months if one of them were to die.
Has tried to keep kittens in the house but Nancy scolded him for it.
However, when it’s really cold in the winter, he will sneak a few inside in the basement.
Him and Sissy will name them too!
Johnny has named a few too, but they were mainly after musicians like Ozzy, Dio, Ted, etc.
His favorite cat would have to be Ozzy. Total cuddle bug and mischievous little bastard.
He sneaks Ozzy in every night and they sleep together. He can’t go to sleep without Ozzy.
Sometimes will invite Dio and Ted but they tend to fight.
Sissy has a pretty, fluffy white cat named Belle. She sneaks her in as well at night to sleep.
If Bubba could, he would collect all the cats and keep them in the house.
Nubbins was extremely confused as to why they were so fond of the cats but he never made any advances to hurt them.
It just confused him.
He didn’t hate animals, he was just used to them being dead.
Johnny adores one of their Jersey cows named Daisy. Spends time with her and plays ball with her in the pasture.
Nubbins has caught Johnny asleep on Daisy and snapped a picture which woke Johnny up.
Cue a lot of screaming and Johnny trying to catch Nubbins to destroy the photo.
But Nubbins was still able to keep it. He thinks it’s a nice photo, Johnny looks at peace.
Alright I think that’s enough for now lol. There will probably be a pt.2 in the future when i have more ideas but that’s it for now

As an expansion to Silas’ little family, I’ve added his uncle Kade Lynn
Tumblr media
His cousin Wyatt will come later, but I wanted to give a little info on Kade’s full relation and how he factors into Silas’ story. Born on an old tobacco farm in Nebraska, Kade Lynn was never one to sit still. Whether it be playing in the fields well past dark or his inability to stop working when he was barely hanging on, his constant need to move was far more than either of his parents could handle usually. Pile that on with the uncontrollable shifts he’d have until he reached school age and you’d have a recipe for disaster. Thankfully, they had a secret to keeping him in one place for an extended amount of time: His sister.  The elder of the Lynn siblings, Kade was very much the wild older brother that Jennifer adored being around. He was everything that she ever wished to be: Outgoing, adventurous, confident in what lie beneath his skin. He never shied away from the fact his family was not human. In fact, he embraced it enough to let it be part of his “legend” when he began his days as an escort in his early 20′s. It wasn’t something his parents approved of, but when the farm wasn’t making the cut (and his son had been born not that long into his career), he had to suppliment where he could. While it was fun for a long while, things took a turn for the worse after his sister met her husband Oliver Blanchard. Nobody in the family aside from Jennifer liked her partner, they could smell his rotten intentions from a mile away. Sure enough, the longer they were together, the worse she began to look. She was weak, hardly able to keep herself standing for long periods of time. Her skin had turned a ghostly white and her veins made a rather unsightly dark web down her neck and arms. Once beautiful grey eyes were void of any light, only the empty husks that Oliver had left her. Even when she had announced her pregnancy, Kade hardly believed she was going to live to see her son be born.  Thankfully, despite the hurdles of dealing with her controlling and rather insane husband injecting her with different supposed medicines, she infact lived to see her son Silas be born. Far too weak to hold onto him, Kade had to hold the baby for his sister to see her little bundle of joy for the first time. What neither had realized was that would be the last time she’d get to see her son. In the following weeks, Oliver continued his nightly visits to give her medicine that was to “restore her strength” and “aid her failing heart” in what would be her final days. As he watched his beloved sister slip away from him, an unholy rage came upon Kade. He’d been unable to protect her the way he’d always done all because of that bastard she called her husband. He couldn’t see his nephew because Oliver had up and disappeared with him after he was born, only returning a full six years later.  Since then, he’d tried to maintain a place in Silas’ life as the fun uncle and the father that Oliver never tried to be. He raised the boy like his own son and often found himself at odds with his actual father on many occassion. When the old bastard finally kicked the bucket, he became the main support for Silas and often checks up on him to make sure he hasn’t suffered any ill effects of the doctor’s old experiments.

Corpse: Never Saw You
Corpse x Fem!Reader
An idea popped into my head so I decided to write it. I'm not gonna just make up a random face and put it on him cause I find it so very disrespectful to give him a random face that looks the way you want it to. If Corpse ever says anything being uncomfortable with having fanfics about him, this will be removed. ENJOY!  I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT CORPSE SO IF I GET SOMETHING WRONG LET ME KNOW!!!!!
******
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*  At exactly 7AM the sound of my alarm rang through my room. I moved my hand my hand to find the noisy clock. Finally turning it off, I groaned as I sat up and slowly opened my eyes. Maybe staying up until 5 in the morning when I have to be at work by 8 was not a great idea. Oh well, too late now. I quickly got ready for day the ahead and sat down to eat my breakfast.
"Yo, did you leave some for me?" Wyatt, my roommate and best friend of 12 years asked jokingly. I must've fallen asleep cause I felt Wyatt hit me on the head with a spoon. "Y/N, you good?"
"Yeah, I was just up late." I replied, pulling my phone out. 7:37 it read.
"I'm gonna start taking your books and notebooks at night." Wyatt said, grabbing his food.
"Yeah, yeah whatever." I said. I put on a video and ate.
"You watching Corpse again?" he asked teasingly.
"No," I answered. "it's Sykkuno so hush." Wyatt laughed to himself, sat down and moved my phone over so he could watch too
*Le time shkip*
I checked the time on my phone 7:53.
"Shit! Wyatt I got go!" I jumped out of my seat, grabbed my keys and bolted out. I turned on my car and sped off to work. Once I got there I ran inside, put on my name tag, I did more things that you wouldn't care to hear. I made my way to the electronics section and walked around to see if anybody needed help. I came across a tall man with curly hair so dark it looked black. He was dressed in black from head to toe.
"Hello sir, do you need any help? I asked.
"No, I'm good thank you." he responded, his voice deep and raspy. It sounded so familiar. I accidentally let out a gasp of surprise when it hit me. Holy shit, he's here! What's he doing at Target, let alone the one I work at. He looked at me, confused.
"I uh, um, well you-if y-you need anything don't be a-afraid t-to ask." I stuttered. I felt the heat rushing to my cheeks.
"Are you okay?" he asked, a small laugh escaping his mouth. God, that's adorable
"Y-yeah, I'm just...your v-voice kinda surprised m-me." I replied. Please stop stuttering already!
"Oh, uh sorry 'bout that." he said.
"Don't worry about it," I said. "it's cool."
"On second thought, I'm trying to get a new camera for my sister. Do you have a preference on what I should get?" he asked, looking into my E/C eyes.
*le time shkip because I'm lazy*
"Thanks for the help." he said.
"No problem Corpse!" I said cheerfully, well I was cheerful until I realized what I said. "I mean um, oh God uh." He just stared at me, a hint of fear in his eyes.
"You know?" it was more of a statement then a question.
"I-I'm sorry, I d-didn't want to say anything to s-scare you away." I said, looking everywhere but at him. "I promise I won't tell anybody, I'll pretend I never saw you." we stood there awkwardly for a few minutes when he let out a small breath.
"Please don't tell anybody. I'm not just saying this for me. I don't want people attacking a pretty girl like you to get information about me." he said. He's trying to help the both of us, God he's nice wtf! Wait, did he call me pretty? Awww I nodded my head, finally looking at him and smiling. He returned it and I could feel my cheeks warming up. He laughed a bit, enjoying the affect he had on me. I was burning now. Why's he doing this to me?!?!?!
"I guess I have to go now." he said, his smile slightly falling.
"Oh, uh well, have a good day." I said, starting to turn away.
"Wait," he started. I looked back at him confused. "could I maybe get your number?" I felt my cheeks get warm again HOLY SHIT, CORPSE WANT'S MY NUMBER!!!!
"Uh, yeah. Sure." He pulled out his phone and handed it to me. I hesitantly put my number in and gave it back. I gave him another smile before going back to work. OMFG I JUST MET CORPSE HUSBAND!!! HE ASKED FOR MY FREAKING NUMBER! AHHHHHHHH!!! I finished the day with a spring in my step, definitely the best day ever.
******
"Bitch, I'm home!" I shouted, entering the apartment and closing the door.
"Hey!" Wyatt greeted, giving me a side hug. "How was it?"
"Great, very very great." I said cheerfully.
"Really, what happened?" he asked.
"I got a customer that was really frickin' nice and they just made my day." I answered.
"That's cool. Wanna play Mario Kart?"
"Grab me a White Claw and five minutes, let me go change." I told him. I sprinted up the stairs and into my room. I shrugged off my work clothes and threw on some sweats and a tank top then made my way downstairs again. Wyatt handed me a controller.
"I'm gonna kick your ass." he joked, selecting his character.
"You say that everytime yet I always win." I said, choosing mine.
******
I grabbed my phone and scrolled through Instagram for a bit. When I was about to put it down, it buzzed. Looking at the text I started to blush.

Chapter Thirty: The One With His View
Warnings: Weight loss
Word Count: 2376
    Bucky's POV
Bucky sat in his bed with his arm laying detached beside him. His eyes stared down at the photo of Hunter and Lily on the beach, Joey there with them. His glassed over eyes focused on that bright beaming smile on the blonde's lips. One he hadn't seen in person for over a month now. One that he only saw in his dreams at night, or in the photos on his phone.
Scattered around his apartment were printed photos of her that he had taken. The day after she broke up with him he had them printed out, just to have her in his hands once more. Her bright eyes crinkled at the sides as he took sneaky photos of her, ones he only showed her the night he took them, to avoid her from dodging him. She always hated having her photo taken, but he just couldn't help himself.
She was the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
He ran a shaky hand through his grown out hair, tugging gently on the roots, just as she always did. He ran those same hands down the front of his face, his overgrown facial hair scratching the callouses that he earned over the years. Glancing down at his phone, the brunette sighed. May 3rd. Her birthday was tomorrow. He could only take a guess how she was celebrating it.
Her and Hunter probably sitting on the couch with Chinese, Gen and Rose occupying the other sofa as a cheesy rom-com played on the TV. When Hunter went to bed, she'd probably change it to a horror movie. He never understood how she enjoyed them so much. To Bucky, horror movies were something he could never get on board with, yet Lily adored them so much, he would sit there with her. He would typically end up curled into her side, wincing whenever there was a loud noise from the screen.
But she'd never say anything about it. She'd just chuckle and call him a "big ol' baby", and kiss the top of his head before throwing more popcorn in her mouth.
Her favourite was The Nun. Bucky despised it. Whether it be her desensitization to it, or her strange love for things that made her yelp in fear, she would watch it so often. Eventually, Bucky actually opened his eyes for some of the more scary parts. But he always ended up curled into her side once more, breathing in her scent to sooth him. She'd never watch ones that were more so thriller based, the psychological ones that messed with peoples heads and typically involved person to person violence though. He knew she watched them alone, but wouldn't with Bucky.
Because he told her what they did to him mentally. So she didn't. Because his comfort was always her main priority, especially with his trauma.
The alarm on his phone blared, sending a jerk through his body. Glancing down, Bucky groaned. He had therapy in half an hour, which meant he had to leave now. He'd managed to dodge the conversations about Lily with his therapist, but the Doctor knew that. Which meant, sooner or later, she would pry and get him to open up about his heartbreak.
-----
"Lily was her name, right?" Dr. Raynor asked, tilting her head as she stared down the man across from her.
"I'd prefer not to talk about it." Bucky stated simply, readjusting in his seat on the couch.
"Mmm you said that a month ago. Then again three weeks ago. Then again two-"
     "I get it."
Bucky knew that his luck would go against him. Of course Dr. Raynor would bring her up the day before her birthday. As her present sat heavy in his coat pocket. He'd carried it around with him for the past month, never letting it far from his sight. So much sat inside of the case, begging for her.
"She has a son. I have that here in the notes. You loved him, and even saw him as your own," the Doctor began, crossing her legs, "did you imagine having a family with her yourself, James?"
"We were a family already," he stated softly, voice cracking halfway through, "from the moment I first stayed at her house, we were a family."
"Let me rephrase," Dr. Raynor continued, tilting her head, "did you imagine having a child of your own with her?"
Yes. The answer was yes. He pictured it in his head whenever he saw her with Hunter, or pictures of her with Hunter when he was a baby. What Bucky would have given to be there for her then, to have been Hunter's father since birth. But he took what he could. Instead, he imagined her pregnant with his child. They'd talked about it briefly. Both agreeing they'd love to have a little girl, name her Stella, or Amelia, something classic. They even tossed Rebecca back and forth, for Bucky's sister. In the end they decided on Rose-Rebecca for a middle name instead. For a boy, they came up with Wyatt or Theo, with Steve as the middle name.
They'd imagine their home. Somewhere in the countryside, a large backyard for Hunter and their other kid. A dog or two, maybe even a cat. Lily wasn't fussy on the idea of cats, not their biggest fans. But Bucky always wanted one.
"You told me two months ago you planned on retiring," Dr. Raynor commented, pulling him out of his thoughts, "Was that to settle down with her? And start that family of your own?"
"Yes." He stated, voice loose and breathy.
"Did you end up following through with it?"
     "Yes."
"How do you spend your days now?" she pushed, trying to get the truth out of him.
"I volunteer at the old folks home near my apartment," he answered honestly, sighing as he spoke, "Tony offered me a job at the tower but I'm not sure I want to take it."
     "What was the job?"
"Talking to retired veterans, young and old." He stated softly, fiddling with his gloves.
     "Does Lily know this?"
He shook his head. He'd debated calling her over the last few weeks. Wondering if she'd even pick up. He drove past her street once, before doubting himself and refusing to ever step foot near there again. Too much pain followed when he realized he wouldn't have anywhere to go on that street. He wasn't allowed back at her place, not after she told him to get out, and said goodbye. With her back to him.
"Have you had any contact with her son?"
"No. No, I won't do that to him," Bucky whispered, voice failing him, "I couldn't. He deserves happiness, and peace. It's not for me to contact him."
"And her sister, you said she was pregnant a while back," she continued, "what about her?" He shook his head again, prompting her to continue, "And...Gen. I think that was her name. Her best friend. Anything?"
     Another shake of his head.
     "Hand me your phone."
Bucky sighed and tossed the device over, watching the Doctor swiftly catch it and turn it on. Her eyes softened when she saw his lockscreen. Bucky stared down at his lap, knowing what she saw. On his lockscreen, Lily stood on a balcony, a grey suit jacket on and a white lace dress. The sun shined bright on her face as she leaned her head back, blonde hair dancing in the wind. Her smile was slight, as she enjoyed the feeling of the sun. He took it when they were at his apartment in October, on a particularly warm day. She raided his closet and took the jacket.
     She still had it.
"She's beautiful." Dr. Raynor stated, swiping up to unlock the phone. A tear fell down Bucky's cheek. His home screen was different, but still Lily.
Lily and Hunter were asleep on the couch, Joey curled at the base of the couch. Bucky had come over for dinner to find them like that. So he draped a blanket over the two and got to work on the food in the kitchen. Not daring to disturb the two. He always loved seeing her asleep. The stress lines he adored along her forehead and cheeks disappeared, her face was calm and supple. Her lips slightly parted slightly and eye lashes laid against her slightly flushed cheeks.
"Cute kid," Raynor commented, moving on to his messages, "You've ignored everyones texts James. Only Sam and Steve seem to be getting an answer from you. If you can even call it that."
"They mostly come over unannounced to my apartment," Bucky said gravely, shifting once again, "typically to force me into this exact same conversation we're having."
Tossing his phone back, the doctor sighed, "When did you realize you had fallen in love with her?"
"I couldn't tell you, Doc," he sighed, running a hand through his hair, "there were so many times where I would just look at her and know. Know that she would have an unspoken power over me."
     "Tell me more about her."
Bucky knew where to start. He began by talking about her appearance, all walls he had up disappearing after the doctor saw just how much he was still in love with her. He began with her hair. Describing it as something that he could play with for days on end. It was always soft and was bright and reminded him of the sun. Her eyes were a deep amber hazel with flecks of green in certain lights. Her skin was bright and boisterous, always seemingly full of life when he was around. Her nose was something that he could only describe as sculpted. A strong ridge with a dip near the top. Her lips were that of a love song. Soft and welcoming, seemingly molded to his own. A beautiful cupid's bow that had him longing to kiss her from the moment he saw her for the first time.
Her body was something Bucky could barely voice. A simple figure, dips and curves. Gentle stretch marks along the thicker parts, her hips, her thighs. Her stomach and waist was his favourite thing next to her hands. Her stomach had small marks along the bottom where she grew to carry Hunter. He would typically wake her up on weekends by kissing those marks, reminding her of the beauty. Her hands were gentle and calloused from years of hard work. But always so gentle, skilled fingers that would trace simple patterns along his skin and run through his hair.
     He left out the explicits.
Her personality though. Bucky didn't know where to start. He was rendered speechless when he got to it. But he started with the dirtier parts. The harsher parts of her that he didn't always enjoy, but loved more than anything else. She was snappy, and had an affliction with everything being perfect. She was controlling, and never let him lead her through different things. Sometimes she wouldn't listen, and focus on that dark voice that plagued her head instead of listening to him. But she was kind. Kinder to him than anyone. She would sit him down some nights and point out all that she loved about him. She was warmhearted, and never let herself see the bad in people. Her mind was something that fascinated him beyond words. She was a quick thinker, always ready with a comeback or some fact he probably didn't need, but loved to hear anyways.
When he became coherent to his words again, he felt the warm tears flooding his cheeks rapidly. Something that only ever happened in the confines of his own apartment, away from everyone else. But this time, he spoke. Three simple words that shattered his heart.
     "She was mine."
-----
Standing in his kitchen, Bucky used his flesh hand to mix the blueberries into the batter in the black mixing bowl on the counter. He wasn't sure what possessed him to make these today of all days, but he did.
The lock on his door turning made the brunette sigh. Steve or Sam, or both even, were here. Which meant that he wouldn't be able to get the peace and quiet he wanted for the day. Ignoring the struggle, Bucky poured the batter into circles on the skillet, smiling at the sizzle they made. Something Lily said was what he wanted. He watched intently, waiting for the bubbles to begin popping. When the door swung open, he chuckled. They figured it out.
"I told you to turn it that way first," Sam muttered to Steve as the two walked in, "but nooo Mr. America had to do it his way."
"Former, Mr. America." Steve corrected, shutting the door.
"And now Mr. Pain-in-my-ass." Bucky sighed, flipping the pancakes before turning to face the two men standing near his kitchen.
"Hey Buck," Steve smiled softly, walking forward, "How're you feeling?"
"Well it's 2 o'clock and cyborg is making pancakes. So either he's so old he's losing his mind, or he's not doing great." Sam grinned walking over to the counter and leaning on it.
"I've had a long month." Bucky smiled tightly, flipping the pancakes onto a plate beside him.
"You could call her." Steve offered, stealing a blueberry from a container.
"She doesn't want to talk to me." Bucky muttered, covering his pancakes in butter and icing sugar. Just as she used to in the mornings for him.
"You sure about that?" Sam whispered, eyes staring down Bucky.
Bucky shook his head and grabbed his utensils and orange juice before walking past the two into the living room. He sat down, turning on the TV and trying his hardest to ignore the heavy stares of his best friends from the other end of the room. He knew they were here for a reason. It could be the fact it was her birthday and Bucky had plans to make it special for her a month ago. Or it could be to pester him. Or even if something happened they won't tell him. The last was his best guess.
"I'm guessing by your annoying stares," Bucky sighed, turning his attention to the men, "You're not here for pancakes."

Hello again! ❤️ How would the ONF members react to their s/o sitting on their lap? It can be either fluffy or smutty, whatever you’d like uwu I hope you have a great day! 💕-💍
Aww that’s so cute!
Hyojin
Tumblr media
Waiting for Hyojin to come back home was a little bit nerve wracking. He was gone for a long while, about two weeks, and you were excited to see him again. While stuck in thought you didn’t even hear the door unlock. Hyojin noticed you sitting on the couch staring at the TV. He smiled at your figure before clearing his throat, obviously catching your attention.
“Babe! You’re home!” You said with a big smile. Hyojin nodded and quickly sat down on the empty space beside you.
“Hi baby...” His voice gave away how tired he was from practicing. It pained you knowing that he was exhausted from practicing for a long while, but you knew how to make him feel better though. While he was talking about his time at the dorms with the members, you climbed onto his lap and wrapped your arms around his neck. He stopped talking for a minute, then hugged you as tight as he could.
“I missed you a lot baby.”
“I bet I missed you more though.”
He chuckled, “I seriously doubt that.”

Well... this isn’t exactly what you had in mind when you told your boyfriend you wanted to watch a movie together.
“Hey, what kind of movies do y’all wanna watch?”
“I swear to god MK if you say Barbie one more time-“
“Let’s watch Barbie.”
“No! Let me go Seungjoon! He asked for it!”
Chuckling at Minkyun and Hyojin’s little feud, you walked into the kitchen where Changyoon was finishing up the snacks. As he placed the pan with freshly baked cookies on the counter, he looked up and saw you admiring him.
“What’s up babe?”
“The usual, except Hyojin wants to fight Minkyun again.”
From a short distance you heard Seungjoon screaming. It definitely took a while to get Hyojin off of Minkyun, who was just laughing and having fun. But once everyone was settled, you decided to pick a classic. Grease. It certainly had everyone sitting down in their designated seats. But you had different plans.
Walking over to where your boyfriend was, you moved his hands that were occupying his lap and sat down. Changyoon’s eyes widened at the sudden action, moving to whisper into your ear.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing baby... just wanted to sit in my designated seat.”
He smiled before wrapping his arms around your waist. “You’re so adorable. I love you.”
“I love you more.”
“No I love you more.”
“No I-“
“Okay we get you two love each other. Couples these days...”
J-Us
Tumblr media
“Oh, and then she had the audacity to say that I was the one hurting her! She started it!”
“Well at least you didn’t hit her.”
“I should’ve...”
Seungwoo chuckled at your response. You had a really bad day, and Seungjoon always let you rant to him. No matter how big or small the problem was. As long as you felt better afterwards, he didn’t mind. Sighing, you walked over to him and stood in front, hesitating a bit. Seungjoon stopped smiling and stared at you, slightly worried at how silent you became.
“Sweetheart, what’s wrong-“
Before he could finish, you quickly sat on his lap and started crying. He frowned before holding you tight, rubbing and patting your head while kissing your cheek every so often.
“I just don’t understand why she picks on me... we’re in college for crying out loud! We’re supposed to be adults!”
Seungjoon just kept his tight grip on you, telling you that everything will be okay in the end. “We also may have a little problem...”
You sniffed at moved back a little to face him, tears still running down your face. “Are you seriously hard right now?”
“Well... I kinda didn’t expect you to sit on me like this...”
“I’ll be done crying in five minutes.“

“Baby... why are you so far away...”
Wyatt moaned out in sadness, staring at you sitting in the chair across the couch. You looked up from your phone to see Wyatt not exactly sitting the way he usually does. His head was leaning against the backrest, his legs spread out, and he looked sad. “Well, what do you want me to do?”
He pouted, “I want you to sit with me.”
“Okay,” you said before standing up from your seat and walking over to him. You then placed your knees on both sides of his thighs, straddling him while wrapping your arms around his neck and resting your head on his shoulders. He tensed up a bit, then relaxed and held you close to him.
“I kinda meant beside me, but this is way better.” Wyatt said, smiling from ear to ear before moving his hands from your back to your ass, lightly gripping it.
“Jaeyoung...”
“Sorry, my hands slipped.”

“Okay but... Suki and I were in the middle of fixing our relationship. I was gone for a little bit, she could’ve already moved on to a different person!”
You groaned at your boyfriend’s response. See, he was becoming more and more busy with his fellow stray cat friends rather than spending time with you, and it wasn’t at all very pleasant. “But Minkyun-“
“Suki didn’t receive enough water! She could’ve died of thirst... and her death will be on my hands!”
Pouting, you lightly shoved Minkyun down on the love seat behind him and straddled him. You also buried your head into the crook of his neck before speaking up. “Babe, I missed you a lot... and you’re spending most of the time you have left with your furry friends rather than your girlfriend. I’m feeling a bit jealous.”
Minkyun giggled at your confession while pulling your closer, smelling the floral scented body spray he bought for your birthday.
“If I had known you were gonna be jealous, I would’ve done this a long time ago.”
You moved to look up at him and glared. “Don’t push it.”
“Got it.”

Today was absolutely wonderful. The weather was nice, the people weren’t huge jerks, and the beach wasn’t that packed! It was the perfect time to spend it with your boyfriend and his friends. You hadn’t seen them in a good while, so you asked them if they could hang out with you. (With Yuto’s permission of course)
“Heads up!”
Seungjoon yelled as the volleyball he hit went a little off course, heading straight for you and Yuto.
“I’ll save you!”
Minkyun shouted dramatically as he ran for the ball, getting hit very hard in the back. He proceeded to fall down in a very theatrical like manner and stared up at the blue sky.
“So... this is what death feels like...”
Yuto just stared at Minkyun while he laid there, then looked back at you.
“So as I was saying-“
“Wow! Not even a “Thank you my brave hero!” After I sacrificed my body for you?”
“I’ll cook two meals with you tomorrow.”
“Alright have a nice evening.”
Minkyun said as he got up, dusting off whatever sand he could, and ran back to continue playing volleyball. You giggled at how quick Minkyun agreed, and placed your head on Yuto’s shoulders again.
“Ahh, this is the best day ever...”
“It would be even better if you were in my lap.”
“Bet.”
As quickly as that left your mouth, you were in his lap. Shifting around to get comfortable you accidentally brushed against his clothes area, causing him to let out a small moan. Of course that made you smile.
“Aww... is my baby boy feeling okay?”
“Please don’t tease me...”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be doing the real teasing when we get to bed.”
Hopefully this wasn’t too bad lol. I finished watching avatar with my little sister now, so I’m back with the full time writing again. I love y’all 😘

               * ╰    KATHRYN  NEWTON  ;  TWENTY  ;  SHE / HER  ——  wow,  DORCAS  MEADOWES  sure  has  grown  !  it’s  almost  hard  to  believe  they  actually  passed  recruitment…  i  still  remember  them  being  so  INTUITIVE  &  OPTIMISTIC  now  they  just  seem  MATERIALISTIC  &  CAPRICIOUS.  guess  they’re  special  if  they  made  it  this  far.  word  in  the  halls  is  they’re  training  to  be  a  HIT  WITCH  but  i  don’t  think  they’ll  make  it  out  alive.  after  all,  they’ve  shown  signs  of  being  NEUTRAL  in  the  war.
PINTEREST
character  inspo:  amy  march  (  little  women  ),  shelby  wyatt  (  quantico  ),  glinda  upland  (  wicked  ),  rachel  green  (  friends  )
dorcas  louisa  ruth  meadowes  hails  from  old  money,  sweltering  summer  heat,  peaches,  spanish  moss,  and  crickets  at  dusk.  she  grew  up  in  the  american  deep  south,  the  baby  of  a  well-established  pureblood  family.
with  four  older  siblings,  two  doting  parents,  and  a  fleet  of  nannies,  dorcas  was  never  in  want  of  attention.  basil  &  myra  meadowes  married  and  had  children  young  and  fast;  her  mother  had  dorcas’s  eldest  brother  when  she  was  only  twenty  one,  and  had  dorcas  (  the  youngest  )  five  years  later.
(  her  siblings,  in  order:  montgomery,  or  monty.  the  only  boy,  aged  25.  clementine,  23.  the  twins,  willow  &  winona,  22.  and  last  comes  dorcas,  20.  )
their  parents  loved  them,  to  be  sure,  but  basil  &  myra  were  never  much  for  hard  work;  the  nannies  dealt  with  diaper  changes  and  crying  toddlers  and  scraped  knees.
but  when  the  sun  was  shining,  the  meadowes  would  gather  their  offspring  and  spoil  them  rotten  with  picnics,  and  weekends  at  their  beach  home,  and  banquets  with  all  basil  &  myra’s  friends.  and  so  all  dorcas’s  childhood  memories  of  her  parents  are  of  laughter  and  golden  days  and  bliss.
basil  &  myra  held  frequent  catered  banquets,  the  adults  getting  flushed  and  tipsy  off  rot-your-teeth  sugary  drinks,  cooing  over  the  dolled-up  children.  dorcas  adored  the  attention.  she  loved  dressing  up  in  her  best  clothes  and  showing  off  the  meagre  magic  she  could  do  (  though  she  still  had  impressive  control  over  wandless  magic  for  a  child  )  and  being  patted  on  the  head  and  called  darling.
i’m  pretty  sure  jkr  has  said  that  ilvermorny  is  the  only  north  american  wizarding  school  but  i’m  gonna  go  ahead  and  say  fuck  that  cause  i  can’t  see  dorcas  and  her  siblings  going  to  ilvermorny,  since  1)  it’s  in  massachusetts  and  2)  it  “  has  the reputation  of  being  one  of  the  most  democratic,  least  elitist  of  all  the  great  wizarding  schools  ”  and  i  think  dorcas  would’ve  gone  to  a  preppier  school
also,  one  school  for  all  of  north  america  ?  yeah  ok,  sure
so  we’ll  say  she  went  to  a  smaller,  more  prestigious  wizarding  school  in  virginia,  the  wizarding  equivalent  of  a  private  school.  aglionby  academy  vibes  from  the  raven  cycle.
it  wouldn’t  be  quite  fair  to  say  dorcas  excelled  in  school.  she  did  quite  well,  but  she  wasn’t  top  of  her  class.  more  like  …  fourth  in  her  class.
she  wasn’t  even  top  in  her  siblings.  they  all  had  their  unofficial  roles  to  play.  monty  was  the  athletic  one,  clementine  was  the  brainy  one,  the  twins  were  charming  and  mischievous,  and  dorcas  …  dorcas  was  the  pretty  one.
but  that  doesn’t  bother  dorcas.  she  loves  her  siblings,  and  she  loves  her  parents.  everyone  knows  how  close  the  meadowes  family  is.
the  thing  about  dorcas  is  that  she  never  seems  bothered.  she  floats  through  life  with  a  carefree,  laissez-faire  attitude,  apple-cheeked  and  dimpled,  laughing  off  any  failure  that  comes  her  way,  because  hey,  no  big  deal,  it  wasn’t  that  important  anyway.
(  if  you  asked  dorcas  what  is  important  to  her,  what  matters  to  her,  she  would  have  trouble  giving  you  an  answer.  )
dorcas  flits  from  short-lived  interest  to  short-lived  interest.  when  she  was  thirteen,  it  was  horseback  riding.  when  she  was  fourteen,  it  was  wandlore.  when  she  was  fifteen,  it  was  poetry.  but  none  of  them  lasted  very  long,  conquered  by  that  old  familiar  restless  boredom.
dorcas  is  the  quintessential  baby  sister  (  think  amy  march  )  which  is  why,  when  monty  enrolled  in  a  martial  arts  course,  dorcas  insisted  on  enrolling  as  well.  (  i  feel  like  wizards  probably  have  their  own  unique  styles  of  martial  arts,  but  i’m  gonna  say  it  was  something  like  jiu  jitsu  where  you  use  the  opponent’s  strength  against  them,  since  dorcas  is  fairly  small  )
soon  after,  monty  was  recruited  by  the  american  quodpot  team  and  had  to  leave.  but  dorcas  stayed  on.  something  about  the  thrill  of  it,  the  foreignness  and  the  physicality,  kept  her  hooked.  when  she  was  on  the  mat,  there  was  no  past  or  future,  just  in  the  moment.
not  that  she  vocalized  any  of  that.  if  you  asked  her,  it  was  just  a  fun  way  to  stay  in  shape.
dorcas’s  parents  found  their  daughter’s  new  ‘  hobby  ’  strange,  but  delightful  and  cute,  trotting  it  out  as  a  fun  tidbit  at  parties  when  they  showed  dorcas  off.  did  you  know,  dorcas  reckons  she’s  a  wrestler  now  –  bless  her  !  watch  out,  she’s  dangerous  !  followed  by  a  round  of  laughter.
as  a  child,  dorcas  would’ve  loved  the  attention,  but  now,  it  was  starting  to  grate.  not  that  she  would’ve  ever  dreamed  of  protesting  —  she  loved  her  parents,  and  they  meant  well.  there  was  no  sense  in  making  a  big  deal  over  a  silly  hobby.  it  wasn’t  that  important  anyway.
the  only  person  who  took  her  seriously  was  her  coach,  a  fearsome,  grizzled  wizard  with  an  amusing  name.  in  fact,  robert  robertson  took  her  more  seriously  than  she  took  herself.  he  wouldn’t  let  her  quit  when  things  got  tough,  and  under  his  tutelage  she  branched  out,  explored  other  fighting  styles,  met  other  experts.
her  parents’  interest  in  her  martial  training  waned  quickly,  especially  when  a  new  hobby  came  along,  one  with  well-defined  cheekbones  and  striking  grey  eyes.  seymour  darville  was  the  nephew  of  a  family  friend.  also  pureblood,  of  course.  he  and  dorcas  hit  it  off  right  away,  and  it  wasn’t  long  before  they  were  an  item  and  their  gossipy  relatives  finally  had  something  to  gossip  about.
years  went  by.  dorcas  grew  from  a  teenager  to  a  young  adult.  she  continued  her  training.  meanwhile,  her  relationship  with  seymour  solidified.  her  older  siblings  all  found  partners  and  wed  young,  just  like  their  parents.  dorcas  became  an  aunt  four  times  over.  their  gossipy  relatives  began  dropping  not-so-subtle  hints,  wondering  when  it  would  be  dorcas’s  turn  to  take  the  veil.  the  cement  of  dorcas’s  future  life  was  hardening.
seymour  proposed  over  a  candlelight  dinner  with  roses  and  a  ring,  violins  enchanted  to  serenade  them.  it  was  picture-perfect,  something  straight  out  of  a  romance  novel.
dorcas  didn’t  answer.  she  told  him  she  needed  time  to  think  about  it.  for  a  girl  unable  to  commit  to  most  things,  a  husband  was  an  awfully  big  commitment.  especially  one  she  feared  she’d  fallen  out  of  love  with.  but  her  family  was  expecting  it,  and  his  family  was  expecting  it,  and  besides,  there  was  nothing  that  made  a  girl  half  so  interesting  as  a  diamond  on  her  finger.  right  ?
and  that  was  when  dorcas  was  recruited  for  edin,  by  robert  robertson  personally.  dorcas  had  never  been  overseas  before.  she’d  always  stayed  home,  comfortable  with  the  spanish  moss,  the  peach  trees,  and  american  pureblood  tradition.  going  to  edin  would  be  …  insane.  training  to  be  a  hit  witch  ?  dorcas  wasn’t  a  hit  witch.  she’d  get  one  month  in  before  she  got  bored  and  wanted  to  leave.  not  to  mention  how  far  it  was.  and  she  had  family  in  georgia,  a  loving  boyfriend,  a  future.
these  were  all  things  dorcas’s  family  said  when  she  told  them  she  would  be  going  to  the  united  kingdom  for  a  year.
i’m  just  worried  about  my  little  girl,  darlin’,  her  mother  said.  you’ve  never  been  so  far  from  home  before.  what  if  something  happens  ?  what  if  you  don’t  come  back  ?
to  which  dorcas  replied,  well,  of  course  i’m  coming  back.  i  can’t  miss  my  own  wedding.
and  of  course,  that  derailed  their  protests  completely,  as  dorcas  knew  it  would.  dorcas  would  go  to  edin  and  play  hit  witch,  have  her  fun  for  a  year,  and  then  she  would  come  back  to  her  family  and  her  fiancé.  shackled  to  home  for  life.  and  edin,  and  dorcas’s  martial  training,  and  the  one  thing  she’d  committed  to  in  her  life,  would  stay  an  ocean  away.
some  other  things:
even  though  rappaport’s  law  forbidding  muggle  and  magic  interaction  was  lifted  in  1965,  when  dorcas  was  five  years  old,  the  segregation  between  muggle  and  magic  was  too  deeply  ingrained  to  fade  that  easily.  as  such,  dorcas  is  HELLA  clueless  about  the  muggle  world  !  her  private  school  had  very  few  muggleborns,  and  the  muggleborns  that  did  attend  kept  quiet  about  their  heritage.  there  was  no  muggle  studies  or  anything  of  the  sort.
she’s  also  used  to  being  rich  af  lol
other  than  on  the  mat,  dorcas  tends  to  avoid  conflict.  she’s  genuine,  kindhearted  and  optimistic,  and  remarkably  in  tune  with  others’  emotions,  though  her  pureblood  naïveté  might  rub  some  the  wrong  way.
she’s  like  …  fucking  good  at  fighting.  she’s  nimble  and  surprisingly  strong,  and  people  tend  to  underestimate  her.  she  works  hard  to  keep  herself  in  top  physical  health.  she  eats  healthy  and  exercises  regularly.
this  was  a  fucking  NOVEL  i  am  so  sorry

Favourite Episodes of Season 5 of Charmed
1. A Witch’s Tail
I love mermaids which is why I love this episode! On my rewatch I noticed how they dealt with Piper’s anxiety which I thought was really interesting. It was a little sudden for her to have it but it did make perfect sense. She lost her mother so young and doesn’t want that to happen to her child. We haven’t seen how her mother’s death affected her. They always focused on Prue. So it was interesting to see how Patty’s death affected her. I liked that they had to her have panic attacks, freeze up and hide as though are all very relatable. Also having the Fearless spell as an easy way out of dealing with things - which I think we can all relate to and wish we could do!
That final scene though when she puts the picture of her and Patty in the new baby book and Patty writes ‘Grandma and Mommy’ will forever make me cry!
2. Happily Ever After
Honestly, any episode that has Jennifer Rhodes in it, I am going to love it (same with Finola Hughes). Having Paige and Grams meet for the first time was everything! There was a bit of resistance at the beginning from Paige but they got to bond. Paige calling her Grams at the end was adorable!
3. Siren’s Song
This one always makes me laugh because of Piper’s powers malfunctioning and then the baby switching Piper and Leo’s powers. Holly and Brian play off one another so well.
Also, the spell that Leo wrote was fucking hilarious! ‘We harken ye....”
4. The Eyes Have It
I remember watching this episode and thinking it was so gruesome with the eyes being gouged out. It was really disturbing when I was a kid!!! I like the episodes where they deal with other witches/Wicca. It is always cool!
5. Sympathy for the Demon
BARBAS!!!! Honestly, he is one of my favourite demons and this is one of my favourite episodes! We had never seen him play out Piper and Paige’s fear before so it was cool to see that. I could really relate to Piper’s thing of being happy and then something bad happens immediately afterwards. I feel that is something I deal with. That scene with Phoebe holding Paige’s body, sobbing about how she thinks she is evil. Holly and Alyssa have such good chemistry and bond that they really sell those emotional scenes well.
The whole Paige not being as good as Prue, I liked as well. Because I think it has been something Paige has felt since the beginning. The girls talk about Prue in such high regard (which they should) but I think Paige felt she had to reach that level. But she is just as good as Prue and there shouldn’t really be a comparison between the two.
6. A Witch In Time
Omg I remember watching this one when I got the DVDs. My sister only recorded the first 6 episodes of season 5 and that was it. I remember being so shocked when the demon vanquished Phoebe and Paige. It is also the first time the demon gets a hold of the Book of Shadows which is pretty fucking major.
Holly once again killing it with her acting after Phoebe and Paige’s death. SHE IS JUST A REALLY GOOD ACTRESS AND SHE KILLS ME WHEN SHE IS CRYING!
7. Centennial Charmed
100 episodes of Charmed and also marked the final episode of Cole Turner. Those last few episodes of Cole were the most interesting his slow descent into madness was amazing - Julian killed it. I liked that his whole motive for turning on the girls was so they could kill him. But then when he realised not even they could do that and Phoebe won’t take him back - he had to go back to when everything was good between him and Phoebe.
I liked seeing what would have happened if Paige didn’t bring the sisters back together. Piper full of revenge and rage trying to find Shax to kill him for Prue’s death and Phoebe becoming cold and in a loveless marriage. But Paige ultimately bringing them back together to defeat Cole.
I am not Cole’s hugest fan but I will say it was very sad to see him go. He is such an important part of their story, particularly Phoebe’s. But I am pleased they bought back Julian for the 150th episode.
8. The Day Magic Died
This episode had the comical moments of the sisters and Leo trying to deal with no magic and also had so much heart as well. I loved seeing them try and deal with having no magic and try to keep Piper calm. It had the great sister moment between Phoebe and Piper with Victor’s new wife talking about their sex life and Piper not wanting to be left alone with them lol!
That birth scene will always make me cry. The emotion, particularly between Alyssa and Holly, felt so real. Like Alyssa seemed to forget that they were acting and was completely caught up in the moment. Leo’s reaction to the fact they were having a boy was so fucking adorable. The fact Victor was their as well was really sweet. He was able to be there to support his daughter (save her life as well) and watch his grandson be born.
This isn’t in this episode but I have always loved that they named Wyatt Matthew after Paige and Leo. Particularly Paige because it made her feel more part of the family.
Also, the fact they were going to name the baby after Prue if she was girl broke my heart.
9. Cat House
Paige being able to see moments of the sisters before she knew them was awesome. This is one of those episodes that I wish they actually had used scenes that Prue was involved. It would have been cool for Paige to actually meet Prue in some way or another.
AND GETTING ALL THOSE PIPER AND LEO FLASHBACKS WAS ADORABLE.
Getting the backstory of Kit was also really cool.
10. Sense and Sense Ability
Honestly the funniest episode of the whole series. “PMS Monkey” will forever be one of my favourite lines of Phoebe’s. Phoebe and Paige’s interactions were really funny.
Having them lose one of their senses was a really cool idea. I know Brian had some hand in this episode but I don’t know how much - possibly just the idea. It said that he wrote it but on further investigation, he stated that the edited version from Brad was different from what he wrote. Which makes me sad coz I would have loved to see what Brian had come up with.
11. Oh My Goddess
FINALLY, MY BOY CHRIS HAS COME TO THE SERIES!!! My first TV crush and he is still so hot. Is next season going to be me just being in love with Chris? Yes it is!
This is a heartbreaking episode to be a Leo and Piper shipper. Leo becoming an Elder and having to leave Piper and his family was so sad. Holly was amazing at portraying that anger and heartache.
Also, can we just talk about the fact that Leo fucking saved the Elders from the Titan’s and they still put him through so much fucking shit in the show? THEY LITERALLY WOULDN’T EXIST IF IT WASNT FOR LEO SACRIFICING EVERYTHING FOR THEM.
I HATE THE ELDERS SO MUCH!

After Multiple Miscarriages, Hilarie Burton Says She and Jeffrey Dean Morgan Have Their Happy Ending
In her new holiday movie, A Christmas Wish, Hilarie Burton’s character dreams of having one simple wish fulfilled by Christmas — finding love.
Off-screen, the One Tree Hill alum will be spending her holidays living out her festive fantasies next door to a Christmas tree farm in Upstate New York with two beautiful children and her new husband, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan. But while the 37-year-old actress may be living a picture-perfect holiday this season, her journey to get here was filled with heartbreaking setbacks. At times, she says, she felt like the struggling lead in a holiday movie, waiting for her happy ending.
“I wasn’t necessarily wishing for love, but I wished for a baby for a really long time,” says Burton, who suffered multiple miscarriages before she and Morgan welcomed their second child in 2018. “I've been very open about my struggle with that and I have a book coming out in March 2020 with Harper One called The Rural Diaries where I talk about a wish for a different life.”
“My life has mirrored these holiday films since I've been doing them,” Burton continues. “It was like life was imitating art because I started doing all these movies about a woman who leaves the unfulfilling life in the city, moves out to the country, falls in love with her life again and ends up getting her happy ending. In the birth of my daughter, that was the fruition of this whole wish I had for moving out here and growing my family.”
“Every morning of the five years it took us, I'd open my computer at the kitchen table and see the news and I'd grow bitter over the endless parade of celebrities showing off their bumps and babies,” she wrote on Instagram. “I'd weep out of jealousy for how easy it was for them. Didn't they know something could go wrong? Didn't they know that there were other women out there struggling?”
"Fertility is a fickle thing," her post continued. And the last thing she wanted was for her daughter's birth "to cause any other woman to weep at her kitchen table. If anything, my wish is that she would restore hope for others.”
Recalling her own dark days, Burton says she can relate to the shame that many women suffer while experiencing fertility challenges. However, she believes the increasing number of women speaking out about their struggles is helping shift attitudes.
“There’s a difference between personal shame and public shame,” she notes. “I think people speaking up has really helped remedy the public shame of infertility. Personal shame is an individual thing. I felt a great deal of personal shame, so I think the more this dialogue happens, the more women are freed up to process their feelings rather than bottle them up.”
She hopes to continue expanding public dialogue around the once-taboo topic through her book, The Rural Diaries, and thinks her husband's perspective in the storytelling can be particularly helpful for men experiencing this kind of loss. After all, it was a book that Burton turned to while trying to understand how Morgan was dealing with their first miscarriage.
“We had multiple miscarriages, and every time his reaction was very, very different,” she says. “There's a wonderful book that was given to me by a friend and it's from a man's perspective of dealing with infertility. Even though Jeffrey wasn't necessarily able to articulate his feelings the first time it happened, I was able to read a book of someone else's account,” she continues. “It helped me understand what he was going through, so if our book can do the same thing for people, then that's the whole reason for putting it out there in the universe.”
Although Burton and Morgan have been together for more than 10 years, the actress admits that she has been surprised with how different it feels to be husband and wife, even just one month into marriage.
“Married life is fantastic — we’re still in love!” she says. “It feels nice to be Mrs. Morgan. It’s a comfortable feeling. It feels different; I didn’t think it would, and it didn’t necessarily at first, but now when I say, ‘My husband,’ that little nagging, dark cloud in the back of my mind that knew I was lying [previously] is gone. Now, I’m smug about it. I’m like, ‘Well yes, that is my husband,’ and no one can question it. I feel validated, so it’s fantastic!”
While Morgan had his Supernatural family there on the couple’s big day, Burton had her nearest and dearest One Tree Hill costars, including Sophia Bush, Antwon Taylor, Bethany Joy Lenz, and Colin Fickes. The cast have remained tightknit, which Burton owes to the show's North Carolina setting.
“When you’re isolated in the little coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina, there’s a summer camp vibe to it,” she says. “You’re each other's community and family. You work together 18 hours a day, and on the weekends you hang out with each other, so a lot of us saw working on that show as like going to college — those were my sorority sisters.”
“That kind of bonding at that particular age, during our first taste of freedom, too,” she continues. “For a lot of us, it was the first time we’d been away from our families. Those are people that you cling to and you grow up with, and I’ll love those bastards forever! My husband teases me about how obsessed we all are with each other, but when you meet fantastic people, you keep them in your world, and they’re worth every effort. I just adore them.”
Although many of the actors established unbreakable bonds during their time on the series, it was two years ago that the strength of those relationships was tested. One Tree Hill staff writer Audrey Wauchope accused series creator and showrunner Mark Schwahn, of sexual harassment during her time working on the show. Many of the show’s actresses — including Burton and Bush — came out in support of the writer, signing an open letter backing Wauchope’s claims. Shortly thereafter Schwahn was fired from The Royals, the E! series he was working on at the time.
“Every family has their secrets, and it’s always a test of the family when that dirty laundry gets aired,” Burton says. “I personally appreciated the men of the show supporting us in a way that’s hard to articulate. They easily could have stuck their head in the sand and said, ‘Oh, I didn't see anything,’ but they didn't. They stood by us. This is a business where you can't trust everyone, and I’ve found the people I can trust — that’s why I want to continue working with them over and over again.”
That included the 2018 holiday film, The Christmas Contract, and this year’s A Christmas Wish, the Lifetime film which also stars singer-songwriter Tyler Hilton and his wife, Megan Park, which will air on Nov. 28. Burton says she created the whole film around Park, having wanted to play sisters with her for years. She then asked Hilton to portray her love interest since he was off tour.
The film sees Maddie (Park) convince her sister, Faith (Burton), to place a wish for love into their hometown’s Christmas wish box, but while a romantic opportunity presents itself, Faith finds herself questioning her feelings for her best friend Wyatt (Hilton) instead. Singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera makes a musical cameo, too.
Burton notes that holiday films like A Christmas Wish are about more than feel-good festive fun and cute romances, citing her own transformative experience leaving Los Angeles in pursuit of a more fulfilling life.
“These kinds of stories empower women to take risks and, in my own life, it's a testament to that,” Burton says. “It's a testament to taking risks, making that wish, saying it out loud, and letting it happen.”

Timeless 2x11 Reaction: “The Miracle of Christmas Part 1 and 2″
And thus Timeless is officially over. How did the writers fair with the series finale aka The Timeless movie? Pretty freakin’ fantastic.
Tumblr media
Let’s dig in...
It’s been several months between Timeless’ Season 2 finale and their series finale tonight, so the writers wisely include a “Previously on Timeless.” We flashback to all their adventures while Unhappy Future Lucy (who looks a little scary if I’m being honest) narrates. It helps because I seriously forgot her mother is dead. (They kill Susanna Thompson on every damn show!)
Tumblr media
The beginning is a little jarring because storylines I expected to happen in a season or two are all happening RIGHT NOW. My brain needs time to downshift, but I eventually adjust.
Tumblr media
First things first - dealing with the third point in the love triangle, Garcia Flynn. Timeless isn’t interested in drawing out the shipper war because Wyatt and Lucy are kind of a mess. They require some screen time so they are fixed in a realistic manner.
Scary Future Lucy gives Present Day Lucy and Wyatt her diary. Spoiler alert: Lucy hooks up with Flynn. Spoiler alert: They break up sometime down the road because she is really in love with Wyatt. They play out Lucy and Flynn’s entire relationship in under 3 minutes. I’m not joking when I say they breeze through three to four seasons worth of triangle.
Tumblr media
I love Goran Visnjic, and while I adore Lucy and Wyatt, I was never opposed to Lucy and Flynn. I mean yeah he’s a murderer. That’s a real negative, but it’s friggin Goran Visnic. Have you seen this guy? He’s so hot. Where Dr. Luca goes so goes my nation.
Tumblr media
Kidding aside, the writers convey the depth of Lucy and Flynn’s relationship with just a few lines, which is an impressive writing achievement. I love how Flynn is all “I can’t believe you date me because I tried to kill you a bunch of times.” HAHAHA. Classic. And true! Ah the joy of television romance. But it ain’t gonna be you Flynn, so mosey along big fella.
Jessica is not pregnant. UGH. I HATED THIS STORYLINE SO MUCH.
Tumblr media
I appreciate the writers giving it a fast and hard death, but this is one of the ways I think Season 2 went wrong. Timeless is a show that defied the typical television tropes and that’s what made it so interesting in Season 1.  However, I think their Season 2 renewal, and desire to snare more viewers, created a “throw everything, but the kitchen sink” mentality.
They used every romance trope they could think of in Season 2 to see what would stick. It was just... not good. I don’t blame Timeless anymore than I do any other show that does this (and it’s pretty much all of them). It was just disappointing to see the show move in this direction, when previously they’d been so good at avoiding those kinds of storylines.
Flynn sacrifices himself by going back to 2012 to kill Jessica, so Rufus never dies. REDEMPTION ARC BITCHES!!! YESSSS!!
Tumblr media
Seriously, he is so bad ass. Flynn puts a couple bullets in Jessica (plus one extra to be sure) after a ninja knockdown fight. He knows the effects of traveling to his own timeline will kill him... or something. Whatever. It doesn’t matter. Then he watches 2012 Flynn with his beautiful and living family through a window before he dies.
Tumblr media
Flynn leaves a goodbye letter for Lucy that pretty much says he loves her, but he knows she loves Wyatt and he wants her to be happy. So yes, GARCIA FLYNN sacrifices himself for Rufus, ensures Lucy and Wyatt find the happy ending they deserve even though he is in love with Lucy, helps stop Rittenhouse and save the world. I AM SO EMO ABOUT MY BOY RIGHT NOW!
Tumblr media
As for Lucy and Wyatt, they tiptoe around each other for most of the two hours. Wyatt thinks she ends up with Flynn and Lucy doesn’t want to be second choice. They are the only two who remember the Jessica history. Dear God, can we all forget too? Everyone is pretty much, “Why aren’t y’all together because y’all were together before and it was perfection?” So meta.
Tumblr media
Wyatt almost dies in an explosion while delivering a baby during the fall of North Korea. Yes, you read that correctly. WYATT LOGAN IS HERE TO SAVE NATIONS AND DELIVER BABIES!
Tumblr media
Lucy realizes she almost lost Wyatt and they are wasting time worrying about the past.
Tumblr media
This part of the finale feels really predictable to me. There’s no way they are killing off Wyatt, especially after Flynn dies. Lyatt is endgame, so the two characters dancing around it for so long feels like prolonging the inevitable.
“After that explosion I thought you were dead. And for a moment I saw my whole life without you and my world ended Wyatt.”
But damn though, what a speech Lucy gives him.
Tumblr media
Honestly, it is slightly annoying she did most of the talking because Wyatt is the one who screwed up. At least he offers up a “I wanted to pick you Lucy, but I felt I owed Jessica because she was my baby mama” explanation. Of course, we all knew this.
Tumblr media
Lucy accepts Wyatt’s “I am a big pine tree” explanation because facts. Things really get cooking with some Lyatt mistletoe kissing.

Ah, a time honored holiday trope I will never grow tired of. Then they have sex
Tumblr media
BUT CUT AWAY TOO SOON! Boo NBC!
Tumblr media
Rufus is alive, but doesn’t remember being dead. Jiya remembers Rufus being dead, but he doesn’t remember Jiya living in Chinatown for three years in the 1800s. I think.
Tumblr media
Jiya is concerned she’s no longer the woman Rufus fell in love with (re: see three years of trauma). I argue Rufus fell in love with a bad ass and Jiya is still most certainly one. It is frustrating how quickly they had to go through her physical and emotional trauma from Chinatown. Ugh, this is some seriously important drama that could have been a multiple season deep dive. Stupid cancellation.
Tumblr media
Rufus and Jiya realize they are still perfect for each other, because they are perfect for each other. They start a company together and become billionaires saving the world. Jiya’s hair color is extremely pretty in the final scenes too. I feel this is very important detail to include. I heart them.

Lucy and Wyatt discuss how they don’t want to become scary Lucy and Wyatt from the future and THEY DON’T BECAUSE OF FLYNN. They get married, Wyatt works for Agent Christopher on special projects, and Lucy is a tenured history professor who focuses on important historical women. BECAUSE THERE AIN’T NO TIME FOR THE MEN! That’s right fellas. Drink your tea and wait your turn.
Unfortunately, Lucy is not able to get her sister Amy back. She gives an poignant speech about grief and loss, which could be the show’s mission statement. This is how you write a series finale:
"Everybody loses someone they love. And no matter how badly they want to they can't get them back. In spite of that they find a way to go on. That's everyone's history."
What connects all of time is our humanity. We are born. We live. We love. We suffer grief, pain and loss. We find joy. We endure. This is the thread century after century. In the end, we aren’t so different after all.
THEN LUCY AND WYATT GET MARRIED

AND HAVE TWIN GIRLS NAMED FLYNN AND AMY.

ALERT!!!!!!!!!! MULTIPLES CONCEIVED! IT IS THE DREAM! EVERYTHING IS AMAZING!!!!
Tumblr media
The final scene is 2023 Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus traveling to 2014 to tell Garcia Flynn about the time machine. Lucy tells Flynn he doesn’t lose his humanity even though he never gets his family back. He is the hero the team and the world needs in the end. It connects the beginning and end of Timeless so seamlessly. This was probably always going to be the bookend. I just wish we had a few more seasons in between it.
Tumblr media
They hint at a future time machine being invented by a young girl Rufus took an interest in at the science fair. The morality of the time machine is debated between Agent Christopher and Connor. She wants to destroy it, but Connor argues they need to keep it so they can stop others from abusing its power. You can’t un-invent something. Someone sooner or later will create the same technology Connor and Rufus did. They have a responsibility to make sure time travel is not abused and another Rittenhouse does not rise. So, the time machine is kept, covered, guarded and waiting.
Do I think we’ll see a resurrected Timeless about this girl and her time machine? No. I don’t. This is the last stop on the Timeless train and, while it was a wonderful ride, it is over. Actors are released from contracts. Writers, producers, crew, etc have all moved on to other gigs. It’s a freaking miracle they even made the movie. (Apropos episode title).
Timeless approached the series finale the correct way, which is what’s important to me. They didn’t leave a bunch of loose ends. The world was saved and I saw all our beloved characters living their happy lives in peace. I need to know these characters are going to be okay, so I can say goodbye.
Tumblr media
Thank you Timeless for the insightful way you approached history, your cast of wonderful characters, humor and unflinching honesty. I look forward to the streaming deal so I can rewatch again and again.

Stray Thoughts
The finale is one EPIC Lucy speech after another. My girl runs this show.
Tumblr media
Nobody was dressed appropriately for a North Korea winter.
It looked like the mother threw her newborn into Wyatt’s arms as her son came running to her. LOL Nice catch, soldier.
"I've loved you since the Alamo." Girl is that ever right.
Don't mock. Saint Christopher is for REAL. He has helped me out of many jams.
Hahaha. Wyatt said m'am. That's how you know it's the end.

[ jung yoonoh, cis male, he/him, twenty-four ] KING CITY by SWIM DEEP? whenever i hear that song, it reminds me of WOOJIN “WYATT” HWAN. maybe because they’re RESOLUTE but also EGOCENTRIC. they’ve been living at mulberry apartments since MARCH of 2015 in APARTMENT 213 and have 1 ROOMMATE.
Tumblr media
Hi friends. I’m Hazel, I’m twenty-four, and I go by they/them pronouns. I was in Soundscape a loooong time ago and I’m stoked to be back for this reincarnation! I write too much, ramble too much, and just generally am too much. Hitting me up through dis/cord is probably the easiest way to plot and chat; you can find me in the GC if you’re involved in it!
Background
Wyatt was born in Spain. Madrid, to be exact; a city that his parents had immigrated to ten years before he was even a thought in their minds. They left behind family and friends in favor of starting a new life, a job opportunity presented to his mother — a renowned curator who is now known world-wide in the art community for her prowess in her field — having been the thing that prompted the relocation in the first place. They settled into their new country, taking time to learn the language fluently, and building a home and life for them and their future children. A more permanent one than what they had already made back in Incheon.
His father works as an architect and was able to find a job in his field relatively easily following the initial transition. The work both of his parents have put into getting to where they are is something that Wyatt has always admired, and something he took inspiration from growing up, cultivating his own work ethic despite his oft times unruly nature beneath it all.
Growing up, Wyatt’s interests were fleeting. To describe him as ‘fickle’ may not be entire accurate, but he came close to it nonetheless. He would fixate on one thing for a certain period of time, and then he would move on to the next, constantly looking, looking, and looking for that one passion. Perhaps in a way he was attempting to emulate his parents in this as well, and the idealized version of his own path in his head involved an absolute certainty that it took him some years to find.
When he was around his early teens, he finally began to learn a thing or two about himself. He’d always been exposed to a lot of different forms of art, from both the forms his parents practiced, and the ones that they took the time to teach him as well. He took violin lessons from the time he was old enough to, and he went to plays, attended events at art galleries, and even would sit with his dad while he would draw up plans for his next big project. It was none of these things, however, that spoke to him the way that the performing arts did.
Music and dance was what finally captivated him. Asking his parents to get him dance lessons wasn’t something he hesitated to do, and neither did they hesitate in giving that to him (under the condition that he kept up with his schooling, of course). Once he started, he didn’t stop. Vocal training came next, though he was perhaps a bit more challenged in that category; still, he pushed himself, and he worked hard, and he knew he was going to get somewhere. Everyone knew that he was going to get somewhere. At least everyone that knew him well enough to understand his drive, his determination.
Getting involved with the theater in his school was simple enough. He did a lot of stage managing as well as acting, singing, anything that he possibly could do in order to be as involved as possible. It was incredible, and it made him so happy just to be there. He performed in talent shows, at local coffee shops, for anybody who would listen, busking in the streets.
When he was fifteen, all of that changed.
It was January, and it was cold at the ski resort his family went to each and every year, a sort of traditional holiday for them that had begun before Wyatt was even old enough to remember. He stuck to skiing, mostly, and he was fairly good at it, albeit he certainly could’ve used some improvement. Unfortunately, that opportunity never came. There was an accident when he was navigating one of the trails, and he ended up damaging his right knee rather severely as a result of it.
Several surgeries later, and there was no way Wyatt was ever going to dance like he used to. He’s walked with a limp ever since, and he will live with chronic pain in that knee for the rest of his life. On his particularly bad days, he often walks with a cane.
Times were dark for a while. He slipped into a really bad head-space, his motivation and his previous ambition having been drained out of him in his misery at no longer being able to do what he loves. There seemed to always be a rain cloud hanging over his head.
It was at age sixteen that his parents decided to move again. His mother had been offered yet another job, something that paid a little more, and that offered their family a new setting. It was her thought that perhaps her son would do better in a new city, would find something fresh to pull his focus, to reignite his passion. His father agreed, and so they went. Baltimore is a beautiful place full of life, full of opportunities. Sadly, a move didn’t fix everything. At first, it didn’t fix anything at all.
Part of Wyatt was angry that he had to leave his friends behind, that he had to leave everything behind; part of him was almost relieved. Most of him was still stuck in that murky place of indifference, of perpetual irritation at everyone and everything. He became a bit reclusive when they first arrived, staying in the house for weeks aside from going to school, and then months.
Light drug mentions/alcohol mentions TW.
Then things changed. Again. It was almost like he had flipped a switch, going from hiding himself, to never wanting to be at home. His parents became worried when he started staying out late, going to parties that the new crowd he’d managed to integrate himself into at his high school invited him to, and using substances he very much should not have been using. Mostly it was alcohol, which wasn’t as bad as the other, but was still not good either. H e got lost in it, and he got lost in his own head in a different way than he had been before, but still just as dangerously.
A wake-up call wasn’t something that necessarily happened. Healing is a gradual process. Understanding one’s own pain is a gradual process. When it hit him, it wasn’t an all-at-once thing, but a thing that had been creeping up at him for a long time. He was eighteen and he was graduating, and he was desperate. So desperate tohave something, to not feel so fucking lost.
It was that year that his mother had another baby. They had been trying for a long time, and with the help of a fertility specialist, they finally managed. Wyatt had a little sister.
To this day, he’d attribute his own introspection and inevitable growth to thoughts of her, and to the desire to be a good example for her, an older brother that could take care of her and give her everything that she needs. Of course, he’d already begun taking those steps even if he didn’t give himself credit for it; it’s easier for him to reconcile it with doing it for somebody else, somebody far more precious than he is in his opinion.
When he first signed up for university, he had no idea what he was going to do. He took classes in the arts and the humanities, doing what interested him without much of a direction otherwise. His management skills began to develop once again through becoming involved in his university’s theater program, where he helped pull the productions together in any form possible. It was bittersweet, getting back into it, but it also fanned the embers inside of him into the smallest of flames. It was a step. A hard-earned, painful step, but a step nonetheless.
Realizing what he wanted to do only came through the help of friends and family. They bounced ideas back and forth, tackled his insecurities and his objections, and eventually he saw it. Saw what he wanted, and maybe even what he needed. The skills he’d accumulated over the years and the fact he still desperately wanted to be involved in the entertainment industry lead him, and through a lot of failures and a series of small, small movements, he started to make it.
Building a career from the ground up, particularly in music and in film, is the most difficult thing he’s ever done. He stumbles a lot, and he’s not exactly in the position he wants to be in, even two years out of school. He’s stuck as a low level personal assistant at an entertainment firm that isn’t exactly in the top twenty of all time, that’s for sure, and his boss leaves a lot to be desired. She runs him ragged, and still manages to find a way to pick at his failures and insecurities at the end of the day. Still, it seems to not just be his best shot, but his only one.
“Quick” Facts
Twenty-four year old Virgo born on September tenth, 1994.
Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, and grew up in a bi-lingual household. He learned a third language, beginning just before their move to America, and continuing on through the first few months of being there. Wyatt knows Spanish, Korean, and English.
Mostly dresses to impress, favoring formal wear for his job more often than not. He wears dark colors, neutrals, mostly blacks and grays. He feels like outward appearances are important, particularly in the field that he works in.
Uses a cane semi-regularly, depending on how his knee is feeling on any given day.
Has a quick wit and a biting sense of humor, and isn’t afraid to speak his mind when he feels that it’s needed. That being said, he shows restraint when his input is not needed, and even if he struggles with it sometimes, he tries to be aware of when it’s time to shut the whole fuck up (emphasis on ‘tries’).
Adores his family, and in particular his younger sister, who is around six years old now. She’s pretty much his world, and he would do anything for any of them, including his extended family back in his parents’ home city of Incheon, South Korea. They return there for a holiday every year, funded by his parents. Their former tradition of going to a ski resort yearly was abandoned following Wyatt’s injury.
Bisexual and has known so since he was young. He doesn’t particularly feel the need to share this with anybody, but neither does he hide it, with the exception of when it comes to his extended family. His mindset is more along the lines of ‘it’s, like, nobody’s fucking business’.
Despite his disillusionment about the world — or the appearance of it, at any rate — he still spends far too much time in dreams. There’s a lot of idealism hidden beneath that cynical outer shell, and it shows in ways that are subtle, but consistently present.
Doesn’t share information about his personal life or feelings very readily, and has a sort of persona that he adapts to whenever he is around strangers. Most would call it being ‘polite’, but for him, it’s a bit different from that. He’s a touch fake at times. At least he knows it.
A serial monogamist. He dates people and then drops them like there’s no tomorrow, and hasn’t had but one relationship that has lasted longer than six months.
Judgmental, to a degree, though he doesn’t mean to be.
His parents give him a monthly allowance to help with expenses, as well as anything else he might need. He wasn’t precisely spoiled growing up, but ever since that fateful ski trip, they’ve become not only more lenient with him, but downright too lenient. He accepts it because his job simply doesn’t pay well, and he’s reckless with it, choosing to blow it on things that aren’t necessary --- and other people.
Lol pls give me attention!

Reactions and Feelings for 2x05
OK... HERE COMES MY FEELS.
Holy cow, y’all. I said this last week too, but this episode was incredible!! It was tragic, it was moving, it was tense. I know this episode was supposed to “break the mold” of the season and signify the midpoint, and yeah... it did! There are so many things to unpack here, so buckle up. This might get long.
Obviously, MAJOR spoilers inside. Enter at your own risk.
First off, the casting for young JFK blew me away. The accent was spot on and that was cool and all, but his acting was amazing!! He was adorable and I love the trope of bringing someone from the past into the future. They are always so much fun to watch them react to technology and culture. There were two times during the episode that my heart tore for him. The first time was when Kayla was telling him about his family’s curse and hit fate. The second when we asked if he was a good president. Yeah, I teared up at the second one, especially when Lucy said he was one of the best. It was so heartfelt and moving.
Mission wise, this was SO cool. While I really wish we could have gotten a few glimpses of the boys trip and the drama and funniness that would inevitably ensue, I am happy that the episode stayed mainly in the present. This made the plot of the episode run very smoothly and focus more on the Lucy of it all. Along with other characters that don't usually get a lot of screen time. Which made me happy because I am always happy with more of those type of scenes.
OK, NOW FOR MORE FEELS.
Let’s start things off with Jessica, because she was easily one of the biggest pivotal characters for this episode. I don’t mean “case-breaking-saving-the-day” pivotal, but plot line wise she turned everything around.
Before I go on, I would like to say that I absolutely love her. She has spunk. She is funny and friendly. Honestly, just a really likable character. I would love to say that I hate her and just want her to leave right now and let Lyatt sail into canon bay, but I can’t say that. I see the chemistry that Jessica has with Wyatt. They were married and obviously have a history... that can not just be thrown aside. They play well off each other.
Not only does she relate well to Wyatt, but she also seems to like Lucy as well. Even when Lucy is at her most awkward point, she tries to befriend her and comfort her when she is not feeling well. She actually puts effort into trying to get to know her and what she does/did for a living. Can I just say that Lucy handled that situation so well?? She could very easily be a bitch to her, but instead she talked with her and handled it with grace. I am LOVING this friendship that is blossoming. Not to mention the multiple times that they speak up for one another and show mutual respect.
Next on my list: Jiya. Everyone with a brain and at least 1 IQ point loves Jiya because she is just so pure and smart. This episode is no different. If anything, her pureness escalates exponentially and we FINALLY get to see Jiya and Lucy getting a little closer. Jiya taking take of Lucy and talking to her about the whole thing with Wyatt, not judging her at all, was such a great moment for those two (it also confirmed my theory that Rufus told Jiya about it mwahahaha). It’s so important for Lucy to have someone to talk to about all of this and I am glad that she is opening up to Jiya.
Also, Jiya is super smart and I loved her loop theory, even if I don’t 100% understand it... I approve.
Speaking of people who love and care for Lucy, let’s talk about Denise because this was a HUGE episode for her. For one, I am enjoying her stepping into the protective and caring ‘bunker mom’ role. She really does care for the team and wants the best for them. The fact that Rittenhouse has the nerve to come after her... OH I AM MAD. Carol is a grade A piece of crap of a person and a mother. Yes, it appears that she does actually care for Lucy and her well being, but in her twisted mind Rittenhouse completing its goal is the best to her.
I am super concerned for what this means for Denise’s family. It is longer safe for them to live in their house. I have a feeling that we will see them coming to live in the ever growing bunker.
Carol may be a piece of actual trash human being and mother, but Denise is the exact opposite. The scene with Lucy and Denise in the bunker KILLED me. I was crying like a baby when she told Lucy that if she were her daughter, she would be so proud of her. That line sucker punched me in the gut and had me in tears. What a moving line! I love one (1) bunker mom.
Next up: Lucy. Abigail Spencer is yet again reminding us that she is amazing. The depth of character we get to see in Lucy this episode is beautiful. We get to see her have emotions. She snaps several times mainly at Wyatt, not in a hurtful way, but in a way that expresses her feelings and reminds him how awkward of a position this is for her. I am so happy that the writers are letting her have completely rational conflicting emotions and Abigail portrays them perfectly. Despite her feelings for Wyatt, she knows that getting his wife back was the driving force for him and she wants him to be truly happy. If that is not true love showing from Lucy, I don’t know what is. It’s the ultimate sacrifice. My heart hurts. Someone bake Lucy some cookies and give her a giant hug please.
Now here comes the part that my shipper heart was physically torn from my body, crumbled in a million pieces, then run over by a truck. The last five minutes of the episode were PERFECT. Do I wish Lyatt was happy and together and everything was beautiful? Well, duh. But am so so so happy they addressed the fact that they were a thing, things did happen, and that the feelings involved in the thing were and absolutely mutual. THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY TO DO THIS. ALL OTHER SHOWS TAKE NOTE. Also, the call back to Bonnie and Clyde “Babydoll and Shweetheart” was breathtakingly beautiful. I totally believe that the callback was a giant sign from the writers that they have not forgotten about the Lucy and Wyatt of it all. After watching it again, I noticed that the facial expressions are similar to the season one episode. Yeah, the one where Wyatt realized he had feelings (don’t @ me on this, he knew it right then and there). I know Wyatt loved his wife and is trying to spark the relationship again with her. I support that. However, I think we will see that Wyatt and Jessica’s feelings for a second chance will change soon.
Speaking a relationships that are changing. Can we talk about Flynn and Lucy?? The last scene where they are just silently there for eachother was awesome. Now, you may have figured this out by now, but I don’t ship these two romantically. I see them a more of a brother/sister dynamic. I love that these two are getting closer.
So yeah, Lucy’s family might suck. BUT she has a new family that loves her and I think that that is beautiful.
Speculations:
1) Flynn and Lucy are related (maybe brother and sister?).
2) Jessica and Wyatt will mutually split ways sooner rather than later in the season, but she will stay in the bunker.
3) Jessica and Lucy will become friends.
4) Jessica and Flynn will become friends???
5) Denise’s family will come to stay at the bunker.
6) Jiya will have a major breakthrough soon in her health.
7) Mama Rittenhouse will have a redemption arc towards the end of the season.
Favorite moments:
Jessica’s “Well she’s a teacher, right?!” and everyone looking at her flabbergasted
Lucy pointing at Jess when someone says “Someone’s mom is here” at the party
Flynn’s sassy “yes ma’am, all three of them”

Boys - Bill Skarsgard x Reader
Title: Boys
Pairing: Bill Skarsgard x Reader
Warnings: None
Summary: Imagine being Bill’s girlfriend and being casted to play Beverly’s older sister in the new IT movie. Even if you characters gets killed early you stick around for Bill and the kids who love nothing more than to tease him about your relationship because he is super sweet and cute with you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I wish I didn't have to kill you.” Bill mumbled, almost pouting at you and you just chuckled at him, shaking your head.
“You can't change the script, Bill!” you pointed out “But even as that, I promise I'm not holding a grudge on you. I'm sure if there is one man on this Earth whose arms I'd have to die in it would be you.” you said with a soft smile and for a moment he merely gazed back at you with a loving smile on his face.
“Die in my arms, not by them.” he said with an almost adorable frown as he looked down, swinging his long legs back and forth like a little child. Almost adorable because you couldn't tell much of your boyfriend underneath all the crazy clown make up he had.
“Baby” you giggled how cute he was despite it all “It's not your fault and you know that. Besides, come on Bill! I am very much alive and talking to you! It was just a scene, I'd love to have some on screen time with you but we couldn't have that. Let's just enjoy the time we have behind the scenes, yes?”
“I guess you're right.” he locked his fingers with yours, gazing down at your hands “It's just- It till feels a little fresh, that's all.”
“Bill” you let a soft sigh, realizing what he actually meant by that “Bill baby can you look at me?” you whispered, moving closer to him and cupping his cheek to make him face you because he obviously wouldn't otherwise “I am here, you know that right? You can see it. You can tell it apart, right baby?”
“I- I am. I really am and I'm sorry if I'm bring you down. It's just- I tried to put the least bit of emotion possible into it but I simply couldn't. And it just... it was too real that-”
“But it is not real. It may have looked like that but I am here, Bill.” you leaned in and kissed his cheek. “I am just by your side and that's over. It was just a scene.”
“I'm sorry, sometimes- when it comes to you I just- I know I shouldn't even think about it anymore but it's pretty hard.” he confessed with a tight smile and you shook your head.
“No, it's absolutely alright and I understand but you could have told me earlier Bill. I wouldn't have just let it slip.”
“I know you wouldn't. You're too damn stubborn to.” he breathed out a laugh and you giggled, nodding your head.
“Damn right I am. Which is just why you are not going to get rid of me that easily!”
“I don't plan on trying.” he shook his head and you grinned, leaning in to press your lips on his hard. The moment you pulled away he only laughed more and you raised an eyebrow.
“You hang out too much with Penny, boo!” he pecked your nose and you instantly touched it. Pulling your hand away you saw some red paint had transferred there.
“Who knows, I might be him in disguise.” you giggled and he grinned.
“You know-” you sighed softly as his eyes fell back on your hands “I would have loved to be a little more around you and the kids in front of the cameras but that doesn't mean I am going to stop coming here because my character's dead. Besides, I guess-” you paused and shrugged “It would probably make the audience freak out to see Beverly's older sister making out with the creepy clown that wants to eat her and all of her friends!”
“Would it really?” he smirked, raising an eyebrow as he looked back at you “I mean it wouldn't be that hard to believe you could make even Penny fall in love with you.” he shrugged with a seemingly innocent smile “You're too beautiful to just kill on the first 30 minutes of the movie.”
“That's... both weird as heck and cute.” you giggled as he broke into a grin and wrapped his arms around you, your own resting on his chest.
“But come on, think about it!” he said so excited “Wouldn't it be a great plot twist? You are not actually dead but only hurt because he saw how gorgeous you are and decided to-”
“Bill!” you exclaimed with a giggle and he joined in with laughter.
“No Bev, of course your sister is not dead! There she is, sitting on the lap of the monster that wants us dead and giggling!” you recognized that voice as Finn's and you immediately turned your head to see all the kids right behind Jaeden who had a phone in his hand and no wonder recording.
“Shame on you Penny!” Sophia said, or at least tried to say, with all seriousness and menace “Corrupting my sister after everything else you've done to us!”
“I'd say it's more like the other way round!” Bill said in a Pennywise voice and then giggled just like when he was in character, looking at you “But I know she does never complain about anything either!” he grinned that characteristic smile.
You gasped “Not in front of my sister!” you hit his shoulder .
“And now you're slowly turning into a clown like you!” Finn gasped in fake shock “You're about to go down Penny!”
“But it's not all my fault!” Bill replied once more in Pennywise voice.
“Great, and now you are denying it?! I can't believe you, you are so lucky you have her close!” Sophia crossed her arms over her chest.
“What?” you looked at Bill “Oh now! Shame on you mister! I thought we had something going on here! I should have never left my family to be with you, you boys are all the same! No matter what species you're in! Or from what planet!” you scoffed, turning your head away from him but he tightened his hold on your waist to keep you there.
“No please, don't!” he pouted very clearly but you still crossed your arms over your chest.
“And for what? Sewers and floating kids. Yeah, no thanks!” you insisted with a hard look on your face, despite him pouting and giving you the puppy eyes.
“But I'll try to- to doll things up for you!”
“Oh yeah with what? Red balloons maybe? No thanks.” you scoffed as he whimpered slightly like a little puppy, a scary and weird puppy maybe, and truth was you had a hard time to not give in and either laugh or just hug him “It's over, Penny. We're done!”
“And cut!” Wyatt said and everybody cheered, clapping.
“Fabulous! Fabulous!” Jack's voice was heard above the cheering and you giggled as both you and Bill took a bow.
“Thank you, thank you! I'll make sure to dedicate my next oscar to all of you!” you giggled, letting go of Bill's hand as the kids run closer towards the two of you.
“Just dedicate it to me and it will be all enough!” Jack exclaimed, shrugging everybody else off and you giggled, ruffling his hair.
“Hey, if you want to hit on her get in the line dude!” Finn hit Jack's shoulder playfully and you grinned.
“Agreed, absolutely agreed! You're not the only one here!” Jaeden said matter of factly and you and Bill laughed.
“I'm sorry guys, but in case you haven't realized it-” you wrapped your arms around Bill's waist and he did the same “I am more into creepy looking dudes! And don't worry, you'll get it when you're older!”
“It's all in the smile, guys, it's the smile that won her over!” Bill said with a chuckle and you all laughed.
“But you stayed back on set not just for Bill and you've said it!” Wyatt pointed out and you nodded your head.
“Absolutely-” you said and watched as they all acted so full of pride “I couldn't leave Sophia all alone with you weirdos!” you completed and she giggled as they all at once scowled.
“That was a low blow! A low blow (Y/n)!” Jack said with a fake sad face before he once more fake cried on Jeremy's shoulder.
“It's ok Jack, it's ok. It hurt us all.” Jaeden patted his back as Jack fake sobbed and whined.
“Look how traumatized he is!” Finn said overdramatically “We all thought you did it for us! How could you not, (Y/n)?!” he added and Jack followed with another sob that honestly only made you want to laugh.
“Why?!” Jack sobbed and you snickered.
“We thought we were special for you! And you're doing this all for a clown!?” Wyatt asked just as dramatically.
“Well, Sophia and little Jackson as well but-” you didn't have the chance to complete your sentence as Jack sobbed once more even more loudly.
“No! That hurts my heart!” and he fake cried more.
“Alright you drama queens!” you couldn't hold back your laughter “Since your feelings are so hurt, I'll admit I may have stayed behind for you too!”
“See-” Jack was suddenly all cheerful “-I told you it was easy to get it out of her!
“Damn it, I still thought she'd insist longer! There goes ten backs!” he huffed, handing the money to Chosen.
“Goo! Now let's go find the clown make up and-” Jaeden started but he was cut off.
“So you wanna be little clowns don't ya?” Bill asked suddenly in a Pennywise voice making them jump but some chuckle.
“Well well well-” he grinned, letting go of you as he leaned down with a characteristic grin “Let's see who will survive first to get to the make up and then compete with me!” he said and made a go for them only to have them running away while laughing.
He pretended to chase after them but gave them a lead “What?” he asked with a pout and head tilt, making it all the more creepy because of the make up “Don't they want a balloon?” he asked you with a frown and you and Sophia laughed, shrugging.
He grinned, approaching you “I shall see you later my fearless ladies.” he gave you a small bow as you and Sophia laughed “I have some boys to go after!” he winked at you, grabbing you face and pressing a deep kiss on your lips and you heard Sophia giggle.
“I love you.” he whispered against yours lips and you grinned.
“I love you too.” you mouthed and with a finally, Pennywise, smile he was off to find where they were hiding. All the while his characteristic laughter echoing as he said he was going to get them all. It was a thing on set anymore in between takes and if someone from the crew ever run into a scene like it they would just pass by without a second look.
“Oh dear” you breathed out, sharing a look with Sophia.
“Boys!” you both said at the same time and laughed.
“Come on, let's go have some girl time before we can deal with them again. Someone's always got to clean up after their messes.”

DR. DALLAS GROGAN
On April 9, 2020, Dr. Dallas Rupert Grogan died peacefully in his beloved Muskoka after a brief battle with Covid-19. His family takes solace in the knowledge that Dal spent his self-isolation in their treasured family cottage on Little Lake Joseph exactly as he wished, caring for and receiving the care of his cherished wife Jane. While the anguish felt by the large and devoted family is overwhelming there is consolation in knowing that their loss is Heaven's gain. Dal was a compassionate physician, a brilliant conversationalist, a humorous and captivating storyteller, an avid golfer and gardener, a talented painter, a fervent reader and a keen listener, as well as a tender-hearted husband, father, and grandfather. Predeceased by his parents, Sydney Dallas Grogan and Thelma Bernice (Slemin) Grogan. Treasured by his wife of 63 years Jane Ann (Loudon) Grogan. Adored by his daughters, Pamela (Harry Taylor), Lisa (Kevin Green) and Cheri (David Wilson). Revered by his grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica Row) and Connor Taylor (Alice Jeffers), Zachary, Alexis (Sam Pivnick) and Taylor Green, and Dallas and Wyatt Cochran. Each grandchild knew him as their "Gaboo," an irreplaceable friend and eternal role model. Loved by his siblings Joan (Michael Jelley, deceased) as well as twins Heather (deceased) (Don Richardson), and Margaret Johnson; cherished by his early cottage partners, sister- and brother-in-law, Gwen (Mueller) Loudon and Bob Loudon (deceased). Celebrated by ten nieces and nephews and countless steadfast friends. Dal's elegant charm and warm heart touched everyone he met. Dal grew up with three sisters on Briar Hill Avenue and attended Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute. He enrolled in the University of Toronto's Arts & Science program and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1957. At a UofT Drill Hall dance, Dal spotted a beautiful girl with a big wide smile who he decided to invite to a Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI House) fraternity party. With time for just a single dance, Dal boldly asked for her phone number and, upon its receipt, refused to write it down, insisting that he would never forget it. He never did. That night he arranged the date, and his life with Jane began. Dal could recite that phone number until the day he died. After six years of courtship, Dal and Jane were married and moved to Agincourt, where Dal became a partner in the Agincourt Medical Centre, and served for a short period as Chief of Emergency and board member at Scarborough General Hospital. He simultaneously practiced part-time at the Toronto East Detention Centre and at a private methadone clinic. Dal lived life in the service of others, whether he was delivering babies, making house calls, writing prescriptions or answering the door to neighbours needing stitches, bandages or other medical advice. He even attended the deliveries of his grandchildren. Dal worked long days, including two evenings a week and some weekends, taking Wednesday afternoons off to play 18 holes at Scarboro Golf & Country Club. But it was in Muskoka where Dal was happiest and most relaxed, enjoying elaborate family meals that Jane and the girls prepared, reading books in his favourite chair in the living room, chatting with his grandchildren, painting in his basement studio, or playing golf and tennis and socializing with friends at Muskoka Lakes Golf & Country Club. When Dal arrives in Heaven, dear family and friends who left before him will welcome him with open arms. The family thanks the Intensive Care Unit team at South Muskoka Hospital for Dal's courageous and compassionate care including doctors Gleason and Kuhlmann, nurses Melissa, Kristen, Ruth, Penni, Matt, Kelli, Jenn, Kali and Lauren. The family is also grateful that Jane was able to say goodbye to Dal in the ICU, and his daughters were able to say their goodbyes to him via teleconference.

What Just Happened?!?: No Future in the Past (S2E08)
TACOS ARE TASTY! TACOS ARE TASTY! Holy freakin’ balls. My emotions. My feelings. Holy shitballs the angst. Holy backstory.
New-ish Character(s)
By that I mean now we know concrete things about them.
Father Juan Carlo, curiously called Padre by others but he refers to himself as Father: Owns a chop shop, he’s who you call if you need your car towed, and the Chief of the Volunteer Fire brigade.
Robert Svane: A friend of Wyatt Earp who delivered messages between estranged BFFs Doc and Wyatt.
Sheriff Clootie: A madman, the unhinged Sheriff of Purgatory with three wives and fathered Constance Clootie’s two demon sons that were killed by Wyatt Earp. Oh. He was the one who cursed Wyatt.
Monster(s) of the Week
It’s apparently my feelings because it has been utterly destroyed by this episode and I’m not sure I have made my peace.
Final Thoughts (before I get into it, because oh boy! do I get into it.Some spoilers? IDK at this point I think everyone knows what went on, in general)
Holy storyline and so much information! I watched it live. Watched it again immediately after. Watched it a day later. And then I watched it again and took notes. So much notes that I felt like I was in a vision quest back to my Organic Chemistry class.
This episode gave us a concrete How the Earp Curse Began 101. In Season 1, they did say how and why, but as with Wynonna Earp, things move quickly and people may have missed it. It’s interesting to point out that there may be episode parallels between the seasons. For instance, S1E07 and S2E07 are both major Wynaught episodes; S1E08 and S2E08 are both Wynonna learning more about Earp history (S1E08 she learned Ward wasn’t exactly the heroic Earp heir and S2E08 she learns about the origins of the curse); S1E09 and S2E09 are both written by Alexandra Zarowny (AKA Wayhaught Whisperer) so I think we’re gonna have a major Wayhaught moment this Friday. Of course, it could all be nothing. But, it could be something.
Anyways, what I found interesting in this episode was how it showed us different sides of characters. How the paragon of all things good and moral and just can actually fuck up because she’s only human and can make mistakes. Or, how the evil demon who let’s be honest seduced a young girl in captivity and called it love was once a good man, meek but loyal to his friend. Is it a thing that it’s these two characters? Maybe. And if you follow that road you can come up with so many theories and speculation that it’ll be hard to climb out of the rabbit hole. Did that happen to me? LMFAO OF COURSE! It really is probably nothing and just a coincidence (I suppose we’ll see by the end of the season, I hope).
Continue reading for...well, hopefully, at this point you know what you’re gonna get if you usually read these “What Just Happened” posts. Why do I have no picture? I got lazy. Again.
10 Things That Happened
1. Willa Earp: The bitchiest bitch there is, the bitchiest bitch there was, and the bitchiest bitch there ever will be. And not in the sassy, fierce bitch way. It comes to no surprise that in S1 reaction vids, whenever Willa comes on many shouts of “Willa, you bitch!” are heard. This flashback to a young Waverly just shows the hatred Willa had towards the youngest Earp. Keep in mind: Willa is 8/9 years older than Waverly. When she threw Mr. Rabbit on the pond/lake so that Waverly will fall through the ice, Willa was old enough and capable of understanding death.
2. “God, I tried so hard, but nobody ever celebrated my birthday, or ordered copies of my school photos, noticed my report cards.” It’s safe to say Waverly was a sad child. Remember her family portrait drawing from S1, where every one was smiling except for her? Now, maybe I’m thinking too much, but something does NOT add up with this statement, unless things are so dark in the Wynonna Earp Universe that even Gus and Curtis neglected Waverly.
Waverly was 4 when Mama Earp (Wendy Rossie) left (Wynonna 10 and Willa 13). This was around the time Bobo persuaded Waverly to bury the talisman that allowed Revenants to set foot on the Earp homestead. She buried the talisman because she thought “..it would stop Mom and Dad from fighting” (S1E02).
Waverly was 6 when the homestead was attacked and Ward was killed and Willa was taken (Wynonna 12 and Willa 15).
Presumably Wynonna was institutionalized or sent to a foster home soon after, but Waverly would have spent the majority of her childhood and schooling years with the McCready’s, who took her in (I think Gus is Mama Earp’s sister? Was that my headcanon/read it in a fic? Or is that actual canon fact?). Wynonna would have been in and out of her life.
Am I missing something? Yes, I understand that Ward largely neglected Waverly, but it seems that Willa was the direct source of Waverly’s horrible childhood with the Earps (See: Willa tried to fucking murder her!!). Which then should shift the focus to Curtis and Gus McCready. They were the ones who, basically, raised Waverly. As any psychologists and others who work in the medical field will tell you, children are resilient. I understand that Waverly had a traumatic childhood. However, why didn’t her sense of abandonment and neglect (for the lack of a better term/I can’t find words) ‘go away’ after leaving a toxic environment and joining the McCready Family, a presumably healthy and nurturing environment? Is there something more with Gus and Curtis we don’t know about? I mean, obviously, because CURTIS KNEW ABOUT THE STONE WITCH’S SONS!!!! HE WAS THE KEEPER OF THE BONES! HE HAD THE SKULL! WHY?!? ANDRAS, ARE YOU GOING TO TALK ABOUT THIS?!?
3. “Mama used to call you her angel.”/”What is my angel’s name?”. Hello, if you regularly read “What Just Happened?!?”, then you know that I’m one of the few(?) who don’t think Waverly is the half-revenant child rumored to exist and I don’t think Bobo is Waverly’s father. The scientist in me is screaming “OCCAM’S RAZOR”. But the writer in me who never really finishes a story because of always thinking of storylines is saying “It’s too convenient. Too many so-called hints. It’s not a big enough surprise or plot twist”. But, let’s talk about this anyways...
First, let’s go back to that magical treehouse in S1, before Bobo tells Waverly she wasn’t an Earp: “I used to watch you girls, and I’d wonder how a man like Ward Earp ended with so much goodness. And then there was the baby. And I used to think about saving her too.” We now know that back when Bobo was Robert Svane, he held on to the idea of “I am a good man” very strongly. He also seemed to be very religious, believed in guardian angels, and was praying while dying. He was loyal to Wyatt Earp; like Ride or Die-level of loyal, so loyal that he rode with Wyatt and died for (or because of) Wyatt. During this scene, I thought it was interesting (Read: weird) that Bobo says “the baby” and “saving her” even though he was talking to Waverly. Is there some reason why he didn’t just address her directly? Why didn’t Bobo say “And then there was you” and “I used to think about saving you too”.
Second, again in S1E02, Bobo tells a young Waverly “...it had to be an Earp” to bury the talisman. This could be true. Or, it could be a lie he told to explain why he couldn’t be the one to bury it (because he can’t step foot on Earp land).
Third, if Bobo did father Waverly and knew about it, would he really have left her with Ward Earp? Or, wouldn’t he have just taken Waverly after Ward’s death and hid her away like he hid Willa?
4. Father Juan Carlo: It is my burden. My curse. To survive and witness. Never to decide. We finally learn about JC! He was the one who originally trapped The Widows in the crate. In addition, he was one of the seal keepers and has ties to the origins of the Earp Curse. A priest in Purgatory, he was the one who sent a message to Wyatt (and Doc afterwards?) about Sheriff Clootie.
Since JC’s appearance, the Earpers thought he was an angel or a watcher. It’s interesting to find out that he was a man of the cloth. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this episode was the first in which God and religion sort of played a role, or had some type of importance. With JC’s death, there is no more symbolic figure to represent the antithesis of demons (even if JC couldn’t necessarily act in any way). Someone now will fill this role, but who? There are some speculation floating around about angel!Waverly (did it replace the angel!Nicole specs?). One (somewhat major? IDK) reason why I don’t believe Waverly is at all supernatural is based on what Dominique said during an interview at SDCC2017: “Waverly is the muggle you root for”. I also think, story-wise, keeping Waverly human is important in regards to highlighting how strong and capable she is and how, if things were different, she would have been the perfect Earp heir. Waverly made the demon possessing her exhausted! If she was supernatural, the thought automatically becomes “Oh. She fought off Mictian/Mikshun/The Goo because she’s (whatever)”. It is more amazing that human, adorable psycho Waverly was able to fight the possession due to her own strength and goodness and will.
“Juan Carlo thinks Wynonna’s special”
I think this came up a few times in the past. We know JC had to tell/suggest the Order to work with Wynonna. Ewan replies along the lines of not wanting to babysit another Earp heir. Plus, why Wynonna? Why now, to interfere and have the heir go through a vision quest to see the past? How is Wynonna different from previous Earp heirs?
Juan Carlo: I was granted immortality like your friend, Doc, along with a few other perks. And some burdens...I’m not allowed to interfere...But, at this point, I’m no longer afraid of the consequences.
What exactly were the consequences? It couldn’t just be death, because--that’s boring. We do find out that he has a fatal case of gangrene. I think JC definitely knew Constance was dead and that either way he will die because his disease returned(?) and immortality is off the table.
5. Ewan and the Order: Wynonna, the seals, these aren’t our fight. The Order has been tasked to protect the Ghost River Triangle from demons. Period. It’s not the first time we wondered, then where the hell have you guys been?!? So far, all we know is they hunted and killed everyone who was possessed/infected by Mictian/Mikshun. With their connection to JC, it seems that their purpose is to protect the Triangle from demons trying to get in. They are completely separated from the Earp curse and Clootie demon. So, who formed the Order and who gave them the task and are they completely human?
Ewan: Any word from Black Badge lately?
How did Ewan know about Black Badge? Did he know it’s gone from the Triangle/Purgatory and was taunting Dolls? Is there a connection between BBD and the Order?
6. Doc Holliday, Robert Svane, and Wyatt Earp. The original (love) triangle. The (original) Ghost River Triangle ship.
Doc: I have made my peace with Wyatt. Now you can go to Hell. Robert: For Wyatt, I would. I would ride to Hell and back for him if need be. Used to be you would too.
Let me just get this out of the way, Wyatt Earp definitely is the reason why Doc and Robert became the 170-something year old gunslinger and sociopathic revenant in a fuzzy coat we all know. Doc may have been suffering from tuberculosis since he was 14-years-old and may have made a deal with Clootie (which something about it confused me which I will get into later) to prolong his life, but he was put in a well because Wyatt killed Constance’s sons. Robert was shot by Peacemaker because he was traveling with Wyatt and was used as a human shield by Sheriff Clootie and being Ride or Die (in his case Ride and Die), he sacrificed himself, letting Wyatt shoot through him. However, he didn’t know that just condemned him to Hell because of the curse put on Wyatt.
Wyatt Earp, the problematic BFF.
7. Robert Svane and Wynonna Earp. What is their connection?
Wynonna: How can you see me? Robert: I suppose because I’m dying. Though I’ve caught glimpses of you my entire life.
Words (and hallucinations) of a dying man? I don’t think so. Robert does acknowledge that maybe it’s a dying thing, but that does not explain why he has seen Wynonna, or glimpses of her, his entire life. Does this mean Wynonna does more vision quests? If so, then why would it bring her back to Robert?
8. Vision Quest: I have ears, let me hear. I have eyes, let me see. I claim my birthright, I claim my history. A glimpse of the past. Cool. Cool cool cool. But did Wynonna’s actions affect the timeline?!? From what JC said and from the words of the ritual, she was there merely to observe and watch. But when Robert and Wynonna were both dying, they were able to interact and physically touch. Did Wynonna affect the timeline in anyway through the vision quest? It is possible.
**In the vision quest/past, Robert rang the bell; the bell rang in the past and in the present.**
VISION QUEST DID EFFECT TIMELINE: In the cold open of this episode, Wynonna asks Waverly who pulled her out of the ice and the answer was “You did”. But Wynonna has no recollection of it happening and Waverly, to me, looked confused as to why Wynonna even asked. Now maybe my theoretical physics is rusty (Read: non-existent) and my understanding of time-space continuum is through various sci-fi media and Hermione’s Time Turner, but I think Wynonna doesn’t remember because in the past she might have been the one to pull Waverly out but it will not be her past. Confused? I think I confused myself too.
Time, as we’ve seen, is a tricky thing when you’re the Earp Heir and when wielding Peacemaker (Remember Hypnos?), which itself is a tricky maybe sentient big-ass gun.
Perhaps, pre-vision quest, Waverly really was pulled out of the ice by Wynonna; Wynonna still haven’t told Robert the whole “Waverly” thing. However, because Peacemaker and its relationship with time and how it affects the Heir tends to get screwed up (Hello accelerated pregnancy!), Wynonna experienced/remembers her past as it happened post-vision quest. That may explain why Waverly suddenly/finally remembers it was Bobo who pulled her out when she revisits the pond/lake at the end of the episode (or was that only revealed to the audience?). Would this then change the dynamic between Bobo and Wynonna, now that he’s back? Because he really should now have realized that his ‘guardian angel’ was Wynonna (why didn’t he in S1 and he really wanted Wynonna dead or maybe this is a new thing cuz because Andras & Co.  basically scrapped their original S2?)
Or is this just the crackiest of all crack speculations? Because I’m cool with that.
VISION QUEST DID NOT EFFECT TIMELINE: Meaning nothing changed and Waverly just how the fuck did she know?! that it was directly because of Wynonna that Bobo saved her from the water. This just brings a whole other set of problems and gets dark and gloomy when you stop and think about it.
Wynonna gives Bobo the name “Waverly” as his angel. That means Bobo was able to befriend and pose as Waverly’s imaginary friend because he knew her name. Bobo was able to trick young Waverly into burying the talisman so that The Seven could come and attack the homestead causing Wynonna to accidentally shoot and kill Ward while Willa is taken as insurance. Bobo was then able to basically groom Willa, attempt to cross the barrier, Willa opening the gate, causing other demons to enter including Mictian/Mikshun, etc.
In short, by giving Bobo Waverly’s name, yes it may have saved the youngest Earp when she fell into the ice, but it lead to the series of events which ultimately brought all these things to happen; meaning, Wynonna may have manufactured her own destiny/fate like a super intense, accidental self-fulfilling prophecy. And I don’t think Wynonna even thought about the consequences of giving Waverly’s name, all she heard was Robert’s promise of never hurting his angel.
Isn’t that really fucking sad?
9. The Wedding Ring & Doc and his immortality (my confusion).
Throughout S1, Doc’s overarching story is his thirst for revenge against the Stone Witch, Constance Clootie: She pushed him, leaving him stuck, alive forever at the bottom of a well because his best friend Wyatt Earp killed her two sons. But, at some points during S1 and S2, Doc mentions making a ‘deal with the devil’. Assuming, the deal he made was with Constance to cure him of his tuberculosis, which is also why he and Wyatt had a falling out. But he also sometimes says he was cursed ‘to live and live and live’. Yet, in this episode we find out what makes his ring special.
Constance Clootie: The ring you want? The one that heals the dying and delays death interminably is also my seal.
Getting the fact that the ring is a seal out of the way, it apparently heals and pretty much gives immortality. Which begs the question, did Doc’s initial deal with Constance just gave him his health and then was just cursed with immortality?
Also, Constance told Juan Carlo and Robert “Hide your seal on a holy site and they’ll keep [Sheriff Clootie] locked away forever”, but she kept hers on Doc. In a well. That well was not a holy site. And Doc has since been moving around, sure he sort of lives in Shorty’s (a holy site), but still. Is it a plot hole or just a ‘the wedding ring is special okay? leave it alone’ thing?
10. “Once you look, you can’t unsee the result”, or the that seems like such a specific and purposeful statement and I’d like the Nicole Haught backstory for context please, AKA Wayhaught angst. Nicole, you done fucked up. I’m sure you’ve read others’ posts about it, so I won’t go on and on. Basically, Nicole Haught messed up. Perhaps she was overeager and so sure that Waverly is of course biologically an Earp and that sociopathic revenant is screwing with her, see I knew the results would be--oh shit. Was she wrong to open the mail? Yes. Did she mean to keep the results from Waverly? Of course not. She brought it with her. She planned to give it Waverly. But when she saw how Waverly is struggling to distract herself and could see how much the result would destroy her? Well, here’s when she acted like the majority of hetero-, male love interests and did something wrong to protect the one they love. Also, this show is full of people deciding for someone else in the name of protection and love. This is a theme throughout every relationship (friendship, familial, romantic, etc) in Wynonna Earp. But, I think this trope/pattern will disappear when everyone is on the same page and when they all work on their communication skills.
Nicole: Like it or not you guys are all kind of in this together...You Earps are a party that’s tough to crash. It’s hard not to feel like an outsider, even for me...All I’m saying is I remember what it feels like to be new.
I know. I am guilty of saying that Nicole was jealous of Rosita. But I don’t think Nicole was jealous in a sense that “Oh, is Waverly interested in her romantically?”. Nicole was jealous of how easy it was for Rosita to get along with Waverly and essentially, become one of the gang/part of Team Earp. It is clear that she still struggles with belonging, being included. Yes, she’s in a relationship with Waverly. But while Nicole wants to be (well) all in, I think Waverly wants to keep Nicole separate, not just for protection (initially with the whole BBD un-deputizing), but because Waverly wants something that’s just hers and relatively untainted by the Earp curse and all that it entails.
It also didn’t help when Rosita said, “...it’ll show Wynonna that we’re here for her, right?” Because with Rosita’s connection with Doc, she is a part of that we. In contrast to when Nicole talks about Wynonna’s pregnancy, “...you guys are all kind of in this together”. She acknowledges that she has no part to play and when she did ‘mommy-sit’ in the last episode, Waverly called her asking for “a favor”. With Wynonna’s pregnancy now being a huge aspect of the group dynamics and ties them all together, Nicole is again in the periphery. Hopefully she becomes more and more integrated within the group, separate from the title of “Waverly’s girlfriend”. I do think it will happen because Kat mentions many in SDCC2017 interviews that the baby brings everyone together and changes their perspective on what’s truly important.
Discussion & (hopefully not-problematic) Discourse
1. “OMG. Rosita & Waverly are definitely gonna fuck. Waverly is gonna cheat on Nicole. What is their ship name gon--”.  Hello. Please calm down. Pause. I get it. Hot people are hot together BUT---
Now, as you may or may not notice this, I like to keep this blog hate-free and as problem-free as possible. Ship who you want! You’re into Earpcest? You do you, just know that I am slightly judging you, but hey! I’m not gonna kink-shame. You ship Rosita and Waverly and their ship name is pretty: Roserly. Well, it is a pretty ship name. You low-key ship Wynonna and Nicole? Sure! Why not? That has angst-fest written all over it (haha! Wynaught? Why not? Get it. Do you get it? Do you--I’m guessing you do). While yes, I do have a bias towards Wayhaught (if you read my tags, you’ll know they’re my OTP of all OTPs), saying Waverly will cheat on Nicole and fuck Rosita is out-of-character and wouldn’t add anything to the storyline. Wayhaught is shaping up to be actual!relationship with problems that adding a third person (with her own relationship issues to deal with) would make the narrative/storytelling seem “drama for the sake of drama”.
Waverly would never cheat. Waverly and Champ were together for a long time and it’s canon that he was an unfaithful boyfriend. You’re telling me that Waverly Earp, voted the “Nicest Person” in Purgatory, would cheat on Nicole Haught  based on attraction/Rosita is hot? Meanwhile, Waverly Earp, who had immediate attraction-at-first-dimpled-smile with Nicole Haught, waited (at least) a few months before breaking up with her longtime cheating-douchebag of a boyfriend. And then, she didn’t even jump Nicole the moment after breaking up with Champ. Plus, Waverly did say, “Rosie’s so much fun. I’m really happy for her and Doc”. This is my plea: Please Let Waverly Have A Friend 2K17-18. Chrissy probably decided to leave after the whole poisoning thing and kidnapping Waverly debacle. I want Waverly to have a friend.
There’s such thing as too many love triangles. There are people who say “Oh. But Emily Andras and love triangles and Lost Girl”. You’re using a previous show as an example as to why a show runner would put love triangles. You get a love triangle. You’re in a love triangle! NO! PLEASE DEAR GOD NO! If anything, that would be why a show runner would be against having a love triangle. Case and point: In an interview, Emily Andras mentioned being against the old love triangle thing, because she has already done it in Lost Girl. But Wynonna and Dolls and Doc! you say...if you think Wyndolliday is a conventional, same old love triangle then please, you must go back and rewatch Lost Girl or think back to the horrible days of Team Jacob/Team Edward. In Wyndolliday, there’s a lack of “I hate you because we love the same girl”. Each man respects the other’s relationship with Wynonna and have an agreement to continue supporting her and to be there for her. This is why there are whispers of “Stop being a coward Andras and just have a polyamorous relationship”.
Haha! They’re fighting. Wayhaught is going to break up and Waverly is gonna fuck Rosita. Ok. If you think relationships are all heart-eyes and make outs and snuggling, what Disney Happily Ever After did you step out of? Really. I want to know because life is hard and I want my three wishes from a genie and spontaneously break out into song, complete with back-up singers and dancers.
Relationships are a lot of work. Why do you think the divorce rate is 50% and climbing? There will be fights and disagreements and arguments...and that’s just how two people, who decide to share their lives with each other (in any capacity), will be able to grow and mature. And for the love of all things holy and unholy, please stop saying Nicole Haught is toxic!!! We do terrible things for people we love. Nicole’s character is defined by the need to protect and yes! she has a bit of a hero-complex. But doing terrible things for people we love is not the same as doing terrible things TO people we love. By saying Nicole is toxic, I think it’s belittling and diminishing the actions of actual abusers (am I making sense?). By saying abusive relationship! and toxic!, it chips away what an abusive relationship and being toxic means. Calling relationships that are not abusive abusive and calling non-toxic characters/people toxic, it starts to make the words abusive and toxic meaningless and that’s NOT something that should happen. Did that make sense? Or, am I just opening up myself to hate?
PS. I personally think that if Wayhaught break-up, Nicole will be the one to have a relationship with Rosita, not Waverly (if Rosita is not heterosexual). Based on this episode, Nicole admitted to feeling left out and this seems to be something that she continues to struggle with. If anything, feeling like outsiders is something Rosita and Nicole would bond over and could become a foundation for a relationship (whether it be a friendship or more). Speaking of friendship, as much as I love the Wynaught BrOTP, I want to see a Rosita and Nicole friendship because I want to see who Nicole is outside of the Earp “Inner Circle”. I want to see Rosita and Nicole drinking and complaining about Wynonna. Do I want to see this because I just want it to be a catalyst to jealous!Waverly? Kind of...YES! Okay?! Why do I want to see jealous Waverly? Because if Waverly was ready to blow someone’s head off with a shotgun for almost sleeping with her chronic-cheater boyfriend, what would she do to someone flirting with Nicole? How would she act?
2. Speaking of the youngest Earp; Waverly “I really should have a therapist because I have major abandonment issues, haven’t you noticed?” Earp. At 4, her mother left without any explanation. At 6, she is witness to one sister shooting and killing their dad and the other sister taken, believed dead. Prior, her father never remembered her birthday and she wasn’t included in the height chart and her oldest sibling tried to murder her, repeatedly. She then lived with the McCready’s but her remaining sister is not a constant presence. Even leaving her at age 18 to go travel the world, while she’s stays in Purgatory. Her high school boyfriend constantly cheats on her. Her Uncle Curtis who raised her and basically was her father dies when she’s 21 and the man who gave her a job and was like family also dies.
I need Waverly to talk to somebody. Please. Because I need her to be okay.
3. The sadistic part of me wants Waverly to be an Earp, biologically. Unless it has been definitively stated, which it hasn’t, the question of Waverly’s lineage is still unanswered. To be honest, when Bobo told Waverly she wasn’t even an Earp, my reaction was “How the fuck would you know?”. Anyways, being biologically an Earp would go hand in hand with the show’s theme of Found Family.
Let’s be real. Sometimes, families just suck and are horrible to each other. No huge hidden family secrets. No conspiracies. Your family just happens to be the one you are born in and just because you share blood/DNA, it doesn’t mean you automatically care and love each other.
Thus, the reason for Ward being a neglectful father and Willa having so much anger and hatred towards Waverly would be...none; there is no reason. And how heartbreaking and awful would that be? Maybe it’s because Waverly looks very much like their mother and Ward couldn’t look at the youngest Earp without being reminded by his wife that left him. Maybe because Willa was jealous that Mama called Waverly ‘her angel’ while Daddy kept forcing her to practice her shooting...
While I do appreciate it if Waverly’s origin/lineage is that she’s adopted (because there’s not many adoption stories, that I know of), I just think there’s something honest and dark and real about being hated by the people that are supposed to love you unconditionally.
As usual, I’m open to discussion, thoughts, opinions, corrections, etc. I honestly didn’t do a good job editing, so there could be mistakes.

Wynonna Earp Episode 2X04 Thoughts and Faves
Every week so far during Season 2 I finish the episode thinking the show has leveled up, and wooooo doggy, was that the case again this week. There was a lot to unpack and mull over in the hour of television, and here are just a handful of things that stood out to me:
That opening scene, man, it was just gorgeous. From the haunting music to the cinematography, Waverly’s slow-mo walk, the interaction between the Earp sisters (that small, frustrated sob from Waverly, good god), everything was done so well and pulled you right into the feel of the episode. From the start you knew something big was coming, but you didn’t know what, and the payoff was phenomenal.
I liked Jeremy from his introduction, but the BBD scene between him, Wynonna and Waverly really cemented things for me. I love the interplay between him and Wynonna especially. “Close your mouth, Jeremy.” It’s so great. This scene really has me looking forward to the inevitable episode when Jeremy has to make decisions and take actions to ‘prove’ himself to Wynonna, which will result in him becoming a solidified part of the group. He took steps in this episode, but you know it’s coming.
Speaking of that BBD scene, Waverly felt more like our Waverly in that scene than she has in awhile. And I love the way Wynonna relents, despite her reservations, to her sister joining Lucado’s BBD Op, basically because of Waverly’s face. She can tell how much it means to Waverly, so she gives in.
The way Rosita says ‘Thunderation’ when she mocks Doc is a joy. I kind of want it to be my new ringtone. Much like Jeremy, I’ve enjoyed Rosita so far. I look forward to finding out more about her. What is it that has her trying to seduce Jeremy in one moment, then trying to leverage Dolls’ serum for something in the next (which backfires, because messing with a demonic dragon-being while he’s in withdrawal is never a good idea). Why does she need protection? What exactly is she trying to get free from?
The Wynonna and Nicole scene was one of my favorites of the episode. I’m on the record already with my belief that it highlights the respect Wynonna has for Nicole. Wynonna doesn’t do apologies often, and if she does, it’s normally awkward and quip riddled. This wasn’t. It felt like an acknowledgement that Nicole is an important part of her sister’s life, and her opinion on Waverly’s behavior and general well-being can be trusted. Like many people, I’ve loved the idea of a WynHaught brotp since episode 1X07, and this felt like further development towards that.
Lounge singer Waverly is a good look, and damn can Dominique sing, but my main thought during the scene was ‘who are all these people in a dark, smoky lounge during the day?’. It’s winter, so the sun would set pretty early, yet it’s fully light out when Waverly is singing. I guess there really isn’t much to do in Purgatory.
Regarding the Bading Bading scene, I find it interesting that Waverly was willing to use the ‘Tacos are tasty’ code to call in the BBD backup (not knowing there wasn’t any), but she’s upset when Wynonna shows up and blows her cover. It highlights how much Waverly wants agency and a form of independence. She wants so badly for Wynonna to view her as an equal, the way she feels Wynonna viewed Willa. Waverly is tired of Wynonna having to come to her rescue, and it makes me wonder if we’re building towards Waverly being the one to rescue Wynonna at an opportune moment this season.
The “You know when my birthday is, right?” call back to season 1 hurts. Wynonna is the one Earp Waverly would expect to remember her birthday (we know Ward didn’t). You know Waverly is going to tuck that interaction away with the rest of her fears revolving around inferiority and not belonging.
Underrated Earp sister moment of the episode: “No, damn it.” -Waverly, “Stupid bitch.” - Wynonna, directed at Siri. Simultaneous expletive dropping Earp sisters are a favorite of mine.
Tucker is super creepy and extremely manipulative, and his scene with Nicole had my spine straightening. God I hope Nicole is the one to ultimately take that weasel down by the end of the season. It certainly feels like they’re setting that up. We know Wynonna will be required to deal with faux Mercedes and Beth (insert woeful ode to the real Mercedes we hardly knew, but loved), but let Officer Haught remove the walking embodiment of patriarchal bullshit from our screens, please.
I love that Nicole is getting her own storylines outside of her relationship with Waverly. I know there was no Wayhaught this episode, but I’m honestly fine with that. I love the character of Nicole Haught all on her own, especially as they develop her more and more as an individual. She plays so well off other characters and with multiple dynamics that it would be a crime not to utilize it. Not to mention, I feel like seeing her in her own element only strengthens the Wayhaught relationship. It’s like when you meet a couple in real life, and for awhile you only know them as an entity, but when you finally have the chance to interact with each person one on one it cements for you why they work so well together. Understanding the individuals helps you understand the couple in a multi-dimensional way. I love it. Give Nicole scenes with ALL the citizens of Purgatory, as far as I’m concerned.
I adored when Doc showed up at the lounge. His little ‘woohoo’ chuckle and the way he takes the time to scoop the hat up off the floor during a gun fight are a delight. I felt like we were given a glimpse of him in his 1800′s form, as Wyatt’s right hand man, irreverently wielding the moniker of one of the greatest gunslingers to ever live.
Sign me up for the begrudging respect Doc and Dolls display to each other. There is nothing like two competitors acknowledging each other’s strengths and showing reciprocal admiration, despite having reservations.
And now, to the scene. You know the one. If you’re like me, you didn’t see the final moments of the show coming. That means something to me, because I almost always guess the twist or see the surprise before it happens in shows and movies. It’s a testament to the show taking it’s time over the first four episodes in building the Waverly possession storyline. Everything felt like it was hurtling towards a painful showdown between Wynonna and a youngest Earp sister who no longer possesses any of her kindness or care. But then, oh but then, the show switched the field in a single moment.
Something that really jumps out to me in this scene is when the Goo demon states how strong Waverly is. We know she’s a brave little toaster, but this almost seems to be more than that. When Wynonna says she won’t let the demon kill her, the Goo demon says “If only”, which suggests to me it would be difficult to do so. Maybe it’s just the writers’ testament to Waverly’s strength of character and perseverance, maybe it’s more. We’ll have to wait and see, but I loved the ambiguity.
I think I ended up typing SCROFANO’S FACE about five times while taking notes on this episode, but it really is a sight to behold in the final scene. When she holds up Peacemaker to Waverly and it glows, you can clearly see on her face the realization and the pain it brings that she failed to protect another sister. Oh Wynonna, baby, in a town full of demons, with your family curse hanging over your heads, you can’t protect Waverly the way you want to, it’s impossible, but I feel how desperately you need to try.
Moments later, Wynonna is clearly freaked out by seeing her sister possessed, so she stands stock still, which is rare for her. It tells you she’s desperately trying to get a read on the situation to figure out how she can save her sister without harming her. It gives the Goo Demon the moment it needs to make the contact required for a body transfer. And thus, a true ‘I did not see that coming, WTF’, moment is born.
I wonder if the Goo can sense the internal strife and darkness in Wynonna. When Gooverly says “It’d be so easy” it seems to suggest it won’t be nearly as difficult to possess Wynonna as it is Waverly. It could also be referencing her extra powers, but I’ll be very curious to see how in control the Goo manages to be next episode.
Some random fave dialogue from the Episode:
“I’d maim a duck for a spoon right now.” -Who hurt you Wynonna, and why did it give you a dislike for ducks?
“More like crap cakes.” - A classic Waverly quip that I’ve missed with all the demon possession going on.
“You can start fires with your mind?!” - This was one of those places I typed SCROFANO’S FACE, because it was like getting to behold the face of a dog who’s just been told they’re a good girl and getting a treat.
“There’s no one in the bushes?!” - Why is this show so top-shelf?
“My sister’s in there you bitch!” - Protective punch-throwing Wynonna can be on my screen anytime.
“Bad news, they ran out of pumpkin spice.” - Of course Jeremy is a pumpkin spice guy, nothing has ever seemed more in character to me.
“Asscapade.” - Actual dialogue, or Melanie Scrofano adlib? Inquiring minds want to know.
I have to finish this off with a reference to the 2X05 preview. We see Wynonna wielding Peacemaker just fine at one point, so, either the Goo makes another jump, or Wynonna is able to stave it off at times, allowing her to handle the gun. We know Peacemaker is sentient in some way, and can sense when the demon in someone is in control, but doesn’t seem to be able to sense anything when the demon is dormant. It’s evidenced by Dolls, and by Waverly being able to hold the gun in 2X03.
I’ll be curious how it plays out. We know there’s more twists coming, Andras warned us to ‘Just wait’, so I’m preparing myself. I can’t wait to see Melanie handle goo-ified Wynonna.
Also, the Homestead seems to get pretty trashed in the episode, so prayer circle that we get tool-belt wearing Nicole Haught and Doc Holliday fixing the place up afterwards.
