I cant believe i have to say this but if you still hate bkdk in 2023 you need SERIOUS help in reading compheresion. let me run it down for you real quick about midoriyas character:

he is strong headed and fucking stubborn. no, he wouldnt have killed himself, and no, i dont care if you relate to midoriya and hate bakugou because guess what. midoriya isnt YOU. midoriya isnt LIKE YOU. he doesnt think of himself as a victim, and he doesnt hate bakugou, and if i have to say this one more time im going to lose my mind.

the "bakugou abused midoriya at a inch of his life" is just WRONG LMAO hori made it clear that bakugou was at his peak shittiness on episode ONE. even the guys he hung out with said "you went to far- this isnt like you dude" which means his behavior was out of place and unsual. and guess what? afterwards? he didnt cross that line ever again.

how does midoriya feel about it? well i thought it was pretty clear- but heres a refresher: when bakugou said for midoriya to kill himself, what did midoriya do? he got upset. why did he get upset? not at bakugou- he was upset because bakugou would get in trouble. not because bakugou told to off himself, but because possibly bakugou would recieve punishment. he did not give a shit that bakugou was being an asshole, because he was going to do what he wanted anyway. he was going to become a hero anyway. he was going to do whatever it takes anyway, because he is EXCACTLY like bakugou abiet more unreasonable and implusive.

im sorry but midoriya isnt a helpless ray of sunshine that needs your help in saving him. he broke the bones in his arms until recovery girl said "hey listen, if you pull this crap one more time- your arms wont work. period." and yknow what he thought about instead. "ill just use my legs! and break those instead!" BECAUSE HES FUCKING BATSHIT CRAZY!!! YOU GUYS!!! HE BROKE HIS HAND AND USED HIS FINGER ON HIS CHEEK TO CREAT A POWERFUL WAVE TO HIT TODOROKI WITH. YOU THINK HE ISNT CAPABLE OF TELLING BAKUGOU TO FUCK OFF!?!?!

you seriously underestimate him and im tired of it!!! hes more feral than bakugou is!!!!!!! you should be SCARED of him. he would wreck his own shit just to wreck yours. like i dont know where this fanon fucking izuku self came from but STOP TREATING HIM LIKE A INNOCENT DOE WHO CANT DO SHIT. hes the mc for a reason. now go away <3 forever <33

I've had an idea that i really like but probably won't write for a while (or maybe never) where iruma is very observant and slightly manipulative but like as a survival method

Like he find out his parents sold him and he doesn't really care about that part. They weren't that great anyways, but he needed a legal gaurdian and didn't know anyone who could forge an identity for him anyways

He sees that he's been sold to a demon, and he feels conflicted. On one hand that is a very bad idea and would be completely reckless of him to agree with this, but on the other hand he's curious. Curious about demons and hell and are there any other creatures there? Do demons have tails and wings and horns? Which mythology was right about hell?

And maybe, maybe this could be another chance? At living a nice life? Maybe he doesn't need to wait until he's an adult to finally start living, maybe he doesn't need to stay in this world that turned it's back on him the minute he started walking. Maybe life could be better there, in hell

And it's not like he has anything to lose anyways. Except maybe for his life, but he's been gambling with it since the tender age of 1, so what's new in that?

And so he agrees, with the very stupid plan of attacking Sullivan and booking it the second they arrive at hell. He can't be that much stronger than a grizzly bear, right?

But then sullivan took him by surprise when he proposed to him that he becomes his, grandson? And oh how convenient is that? He wont have to hunt and build a shelter, or hide and defend against hell creatures. He sees this as an absolute win! (And he pushes down the memory of a gentle smile and graying hair on a nice spring day) (yes i want drama i want the word grandpa to be bitter sweet in this fic i dont want him to just accept sullivan as family i want him to overcome and let go of the things he left behind)

And so he acts nice, he acts sweet and bubbly and just the right character that old people love seeing, and he doesn't expect sullivan to be fooled, but he seems to be playing along with him so iruma will act right. He'll act nice until he finds a safer place to be.

Opera is suspicious of him, but they're just a bodygaurd so as long as sullivan wants him around, they won't do anything about him

And then iruma finds out he's going to school, and he feels both excited and annoyed. Excited because school is the perfect place to learn about this world, and annoyed because kids his age are annoying. They never understood him, never felt comfortable around him. Always whispered behind his back about how he was weird and would sometimes go feral and attack other students (they took his hard earned money and said it's no big deal and we'll pay you back later~)

So, school. The uniform looked interesting, it was different. There is a lot of diversity among demons. No one looked at him for too long, he blended in just fine, everything was going alright

Until his new grandpa put the spotlight on him

And made him say the speech instead of another student (favoritism is never a good thing)

And gave a very dangerous spell to cast without telling him how dangerous it was

And got him into trouble with his new teachers

And the freshmen representative came to fight him

What a wonderful first day

And so they fight, iruma dodges because that's a whole new species who could be extremely durable, too hot for his touch especially qith the fire floating around him, so best not test his luck

He keeps dodging, azz gets nad and iruma saves the girl who i can't remember her name, he german suplex azz and gains azz's loyalty

But Iruma doesn't trust this. No one changes so quickly. Azz is definitely scheming something, lowering his gaurd only to stab him in the back

But calling him out is dangerous, and with azz being so close it'd be dangerous, but easier to keep his eyes on him

And so he doesn't shy from azz's approaches (except he disappears into thin air whenever anyone attempts to put him in the spotlight) he'll play along with azz until he can safely cut him out of his life

He's just playing along

AAAAAAAAAAA IM FINALLY DONE WITH CHARACTER SHEETS FOR MY ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE KIDS WHICH IVE BEEN WORKING ON FOR AGES NOW😭😭😭

Although i couldnt fully finish quinn and alice because school is starting literally tomorrow for me so i had to cut down on the expressions and poses 😭 and also i want to work on something different now HAHA

BUT YEAH!! if you wanna see me ramble abt em and know more abt their lore and some additional sketches of em together, ill put em below to save your scrolling fingers!! :]

OKOK SO!! The designs on the character sheets are actually a bit of redesigns!

Like for example, Alice was supposed to have a bunny mask like the pic below, but i changed it because i couldnt think of a solid reason WHY shed have the bunny mask so unmasked it is! (although, a bit sad to lose the bunny mask because it was a cool design, but i can always use it in another oc i suppose!)

(Although i put a lil bunny design on her sneakers in her post apocalypse design, as a lil nod to this!)

OKAY SO THEIR LORE!! AHEM AHEM

Carmen : Shes the typical rich kid that comes from a prestigious rich school that few can get in, although their parents pressure them alot especially in how she presents herself and in her studies :(

She often gets forced to do things she doesnt want to do, but because of her parents high expectations and harsh judgement, they do it anyway even if theyre unhappy abt it :( [thats the reason why she looks so sad in her pre apoc. design!]

And in one of those things she doesnt want to do but does anyway because she was forced by her parents was Ballet!! And in that ballet class, they meet Darcy. She absolutely hates him in how much he trashtalks her and in every mistake they do, making her even more miserable. But even so, shes actually really good at ballet!! she just hates it HAHA <3

But ohoho!!! The apocalypse comes!! And she finds that with no society judging her every move, she finds freedom to be themselves!!! Mischievious and sly, as well as loving beating things up!! <3

Post apocalypse time! They realize that life is too short and precious to constantly worry about what you look like and to always cower under her parents gaze, so she goes #girlboss and lives her life the way she always wanted to be >:] She gets so good in fighting zombies that she becomes an instructor in self defense!! B]

Darcy : ALSO a typical rich kid thats also very annoying and pompous in every way, loves belittling and trashtalking others for his own benefit <3

Hes also brothers with Anthony! Although they have a very strained relationship (to the point he wont talk to him) because Anthony never defended Darcy against their parents whenever they chastised him for wanting to be a ballerina because that aint a 'boys' thing and that fact he never was 'manly enough'🙄

But how does Darcy get these prestigious ballet lessons you may ask? Well he gets funded by his way cooler uncle B] in who he lives with!

Hes top in his ballet class, being the star pupil even, until Carmen arrived that changed everything. She was just as good as him, and maybe even more. And that shook him to the core. He had to be better than everyone, he just has to! Because what else was his effort and fight for?

So yeah, WOOHOO RIVALRY!!!! He made fun of her at every turn, talked shit behind her back, just anything to maker her miserable so they would stop attending classes.

Untillll the apocalypse came :]]] AHEHEHEE he was sure put in his place, as he had to begrudgingly team up with Anthony and Carmen of all people to survive. Although, they do get to bond, and becomes a better person during and after the apocalypse.

POST APOCALYPSE YAYY OKAY SO hes achieving his dream and training to be a ballet instructor!! >:D

Anthony : Hes a super duper kind sweetheart, very much contrasting to his brother, Darcy! Hes the captain of his schools soccer team too! Combined the fact that hes very kind and also very good at soccer, no wonder many other kids get crushes on him, but he never really returns the feelings.

But at the other side of the coin, hes afraid of making other people sad or disappointed, to the point where hes non-confrontational and self-sacrificing, and wants to be useful to others.

And why does he and Darcy have a complicated, strained relationship you may ask? Well hes afraid of confronting his parents that he ends up betraying Darcys trust and hurting his feelings because hes too afraid to defend him, even if he really wanted to. He feels really guilty about it everyday, but he cant bring himself to say a word against their parents.

At the start of the apocalypse, his first thought was to find Darcy. And with the help of Carmen and Quinn, he does! And during the apoc., it was hard to try to rebuild their relationship, but through understanding and trust, they become close again as they were when they were little children :]

And uh,, youre probably wondering why he doesnt have a post apocalypse design? To simply put it, he sacrificed himself for everyone to get out safely <3

Quinn : The typical mean delinquent girlie who always gets in trouble in school along with her squad of bullies as they like bullying other kids and messing shit up that gives their school a constant headache😌😌😊

But sometimes, in the back of her mind, she knows that what shes doing and what her other 'friends' are doing can get too far. But that gets overlapped be her squads pressure to do shitty things. She cant turn back now, can she? She has no one except for her squad of 'friends'! 😔 So better do what they ask so she doesnt disappoint em! Plus the fact her family life is just... not good!!

[One person in particular got bullied so much that they moved schools because of them, which is Alice]

When the apocalypse hit, all her 'friends' left her to die, but was saved by Carmen! Hooray!! And during the apoc., with no squad to pressure her on, she doesnt know who she is without them. But she cant help but feel like she can breathe more as well. Plus the fact that shes teaming up with Alice, and has to confront her complicated feelings of the past with that.

after the apoc., she never goes back to her previous way of life, and goes to study to become a therapist so she could help troubled youth, as she was never given the help she needed before.

Alice : A very shy, quiet girl whod prefer to be in the corners to not be noticed by anyone. Very low confidence in her self as well as very self consious- as she was bullied in her previous school.

When the apocalypse came, she was saved by Carmen, Anthony, Darcy, and...Quinn??? One of her previous bullies from her previous school??? Gasp!! But yes During the apocalypse she slowly finds confidence in herself again, letting all out her feelings in smashing zombies heads!! >:D You go girl!!

And with Quinn, although she may never forgive her, she slowly gets along with her along the way.

After the apoc.,,,,, well honestly i have no idea ill just have to think about it more HAHA

Demon King or Neil

Summary: Neil and Damao are playing video games until Damao loses by a second and chaos erups

Warnings: Tickles

Characters: Lee!Neil, Ler!Damao

Damao and Neil were alone at home.. well more or less at least. Ira was upstairs, chilling in his room, probably sleeping.

When the young demon had asked Damao if he wanted to play video games, the werewolf thought of it as a challenge and almost immediately agreed to it.

And now they were sat in the common room, both incredibly focused on their little mario cart race, well one more then the other as Neils tail swished back and forth in Damaos sides from time to time. "I wont let you win Neil!" Damao grinned as he had the first place on their thrid and last round. The male felt Neils tail swish a little faster making him look at the little demon, seeing a smug smile "We'll see about that!" he exclaimed just the second before the screen showed the blue shell and hit Damao just a few meters in front of the finish line.

"No... come on!" he murmured and saw Neil pass him and finsih the race. "YES!" he exclaimed happily and moved to lay-sit on the cough "Hehehe sorry" Neil giggled at the pout Damao was wearing- "do you find this funny?!" the werewolf asked and raised a questioning eyebrow- his lips tuning upwards ever so slightly. - it was, it was incredibly funny, the little pout the muscular man had worn was totally out of character!

Neil smiled at him, giggles making it past his lips as he wasn't completely sure what the other was planning- still he felt brave enough "mahaybe!"- Ira would save him if that wouldn't be the case anyways- right?

Damao wasn't sure what he was expecting but a 'maybe' was definetely not it. He grinned, time to mess with him. "Y'know Neil, I think the demon king is in control" he sighed mockingly, making Neil raise an eyebrow, curious to where this will lead.

"our Neil would never do such mean thing as taking the first place right from our grasps, especially not with such a curel method!" Damao continued, speaking in a different manner then he usually would to keep things playful.

"But I just di-" "I'm going to bring Neil back to us and I already know how." Damao grinned playfully at the nervous smile on Neil's face.

what was that werewolf up to..? just a few weeks ago he was trying to avoid Neil at all costs! No that doesnt matter now- Neil would take this rare chance to bond with his roommate! The demon sat himself towards the other and put the controller away "And how..?" he asked and tilted his head- Damao punced seeing the smaller's eyes widen in shock and a small yelp escaped as he was wrestled down.

"Give in Demon King! You cannot avoid faith!" Damao exclaimed and quickly went through Neils defenses and squeezed right above the spot between his ribs and armpits. "HEhEHEY!" Neil protests with a jump, taken completely off guard.

Damao chuckled at the response and trapped Neils one hand next to his head onto the couch. "Hehe you can't escape me Demon King! I will save our Neil and bring him back!" "BUhuhUt IHI'M RiHIHihight hEHehere!" Neil shot at him, trying to glare without luck though as a soft blush dusted his cheeks.

"No way! hmmm.. maybe I'm doing this wrong.. let's try.. HERE!" he announced and let both his hands about to vibrate Neils waist earning a shriek and kicking legs "NAHA! DAHAMAHAO! HOHOLD OHON!" the demon cackled and held onto Damao's wrists.

Damao heard a door open above them- that Ira heard them.. oh well he had a Demon King to defeat!

Neils thoughts were racing, his blush growing as he noticed more and more how much he didn't mind this at all- still he was not the Demon King! He was resting inside hime yes but he was not in control!

Ira let out a chuckle and made himself known to the two "IHIHIRA HEHELP!" Neil squealed out but didn't look into the vampires direction as he tried to somehow lessen the maddening feeling. The vampire and Werewolf locked eyes for a second. Damao switched to skribbling over Neils ribs and Ira sighed while e shrugged "Not sure what he did but don't take it too far." he warned and kept walking over to the fridge.

Damao chuckled and looked at Neil who had calmed down quite a bit- still giggling uo a storm though. "You're lucky Lily doesn't know about this~" he teased, seeing Neil flush in a crimson red all the way up to his ears. "Dohon't tehell heheher!" Ira chuckled from the kitched "SHE ALREADY KNOWS!" he yelled out making Neil whine between his bubbly giggles that earned in pitch at the comment.

Damao chuckled and let up for a second. "If you're Neil and not the Demon King, I'm pretty sure you know where Lynn and Lily went." Neil huffed a chuckle "They're out for easter shopping" Damao hummed "and?" he asked with a sly grin. "and..?" Neil echoed "yeah there's another reason they're outside today." Damao told him- not leaving Neil any room to think before going back to tickling him.

"IHI wahas RIHIght thOHOugh! NohOHOhot TheHE tuHUHum- DAHAmahao!" The taller of the two clicked his tongue "That could've been a lucky guess, Easter is soon after all." he sighed but the playful smile never vanished from his features.

Ira hummed as he nibbled on his bloodsicle "if I were you Neil, I would try and fight back. Oh well, laters!" the vampire called and disappeared back to the upstairs.

Niel huffed through his giggles- how dare Ira leave him here!

Yet before the demon could make anymore protests their front door flew open showing Lily and Lynn. "Ah, welcome back." Damao greeted, letting Neil up. The demon greeted them with a giggly hello- still laying there Lily ran up to him and started to ramble about the pretty ornaments she and her brother had seen today.

Damao stood up and went to help Lynn. "oh by the way, why are you blushing so hard?" Lily suddenly asked earning wide eyes and his blush that had just began to vanish grew again.

"Neil is ticklish!" the two heard from the stairs "Ira-AHaha~"

Easter preperations could wait a little longer he guessed as Lily just continued to ramble and kept on randomly poking him.

《The Mandalorian》『SEASON 3 : Episode 7 - Chapter 23』 - 「THE SPIES」 // Finale Part 1 of 2

SPOILERS!

Thoughts on rewatch…

Kane being an insider is not surprising. She was always suspicious.

The mention of Grand Admiral Thrawn is by no means a mistake, in light of the Ahsoka trailer at Star Wars Celebration. He’s mentioned quite a few times in this conversation between the Imperials in the room via Hologram. And he is currently somewhere out there, wherever Ezra Bridger might be; which will perfectly lead up to the Ahsoka series.

The mention of Commandant Brendol Hux is no surprise either; he’s gotta be General Hux’s dad, which partially explains how Hux came to be in the First Order in the Sequel Trilogy.

Project Necromancer - no secret code name, it’s for bringing Palpatine back to life. Ian McDiarmid pointed out at Star Wars Celebration 2023 that Palpatine does not like to lose; he will do anything possible to win, even if that means coming back from the dead once again. The mention that Thrawn is “missing” and the Imperials needing “new leadership”obviously points to the inevitable reanimation of Palpatine. “Somehow, Palpatine returned”. Yes, somehow, because the rebels and the New Republic did not know. That was how secretive it was, but we know now how that’s coming along. It’s all falling into place.

The Watch’s light cruiser having the Mythosaur’s logo on the underside of their ship reminds me of how Thrawn also had/has the logo of a Chimaera on his ship. Because what else do you do with a ship that big and when you claim it as your own? You draw a big-ass symbol on the underside of it, that’s what.

It’s also a tad funnier that the Anzellan feels more like a puppet because of the way it looks and moves, as opposed to Grogu, who feels more realistic. But hey, puppets, so.

Grogu repeatedly hitting the yes and no buttons is hilarious! And the fact that he’s hitting it NONSTOP as they walk through the town center is extra funny. Also, Grogu picking up a Meiloorun fruit is by no means an accident; this is foreshadowing the Ahsoka series, since the fruit was first seen in Rebels and also the last time it was seen before this episode.

Bo-Katan speaks up and makes a plan. And it’s not surprising that at first nobody speaks up; but it isn’t until Din “I didn’t want to be here but here I am so I might as well” Djarin offers to join her, that Koska Reeves says she will go too. Only after she has spoken, Axe agrees to go, and so does Paz Vizsla. It’s something that reunites them. The music as they head off-planet is beautifully haunting and confident.

The drop hatch in Bo’s ship opens, and the volunteers look down on the planet they once called home. They shake their head in horror and dismay at what’s left. It’s… really something, to feel secondhand dread and sorrow.

Din spots something in the distance; Bo realizes it’s the Nite Owls, the group she once used to be a part of. But how did she know, and why? They have nothing but a weathered and worn ground transport.

The captain of the Nite Owls recognize Bo and refer to her full title as Lady Bo-Katan Kryze. They do not forget that she was and remains Mandalorian royalty.

During the dinner on the ground transport boat, the captain spoke of the refusal to give up, but Bo drops a verbal and historical bombshell on the entire party: she had to surrender under the choices given to her, in that if she did, her people would be spared. She surrendered, but as the Empire is wont to do, they didn’t care and bombed her world anyway. She did what she thought was the right thing to do, she did what she thought she had to do to save her people, but it still didn’t end right. Bo isn’t usually one for diplomacy and talks for peace - that was her sister Satine’s specialty. However, because Bo did what she thought was right, it still wasn’t right. And she knew this, even if if it was “the only chance” to save her people, according to her. It was her mistake and she owes up to it. She screwed over big time in trying to do what she thought best for her people. What would have happened had she not surrendered? Would she have died earlier?

The captain brings up Death Watch - the very same terrorist splinter group who opposed the peacekeepings of Duchess Satine Kryze. The Armorer notes how “Death Watch exists no longer.”

Bo states, “Our people have suffered time and time again. From division and squabbling factions.” I feel like she is in part referring to how differences between her and her sister Satine - war vs peace - have driven them apart, and now that Satine has long been murdered and gone, it’s caused Bo nothing but pain and loneliness. It’s driven the Mandalorians nowhere but apart. “It is always our own division that destroys us” is a very powerful and deeply regretful statement that Bo makes.

Bo admits her mistake. She is by no means perfect; she’s lost everything, and part of it by her own hubris. “I was selfish. And this is what it wrought,” she laments. When Din speaks to her, she admits to not knowing if she is able to keep the Mandalorians from splintering like they always did. It’s a very heavy duty, weighed down with much sorrow and regret.

Din speaks of the Darksaber: “I only know of this weapon what you taught me. To be honest, it means nothing to me or my people. Nor does station or bloodline. What means more to me is honor. And loyalty. And character. These are the reasons I serve you, Lady Kryze. Your song is not yet written. I will serve you until it is.” The thing about the Darksaber is that what we know of it from the Clone Wars and Rebels is that whosoever wields the blade gets to rule Mandalore, via bloodline and station. Seems like only the Mandalorian royals have held this blade for ages. However, Bo is a princess with a ravaged planet, unsure of leading a fractured people who have never once known peace. Din respects her not because she is a princess, but because of who she is as a person. He sees a loyal warrior who does not want to give up despite all signs pointing to how and why she should. She’s lost everything and deserves nothing yet here she stands on her own two feet, against the world and many more to come. Her story we know but little of, and the fact that Din knows her story is really only just beginning says a lot about her as a Mandalorian herself. Mandalorians do not quit, that much we know.

It feels bright and upbeat and deceptively confident when the series theme music plays as the crew set of in search of the Great Forge.

The fight between Paz and Axe is a foreshadow. And it’s funny that Grogu stops the fight before it gets worse, as he’s technically not a Mandalorian so he’s from “neither” side and so, he could step in. Hilarious how a child can stop two grown men from punching each other’s daylights out.

The Mythosaur emerges! And I like how it serves as an incentive for the Mandalorians to go further into their former civilization.

When the Imperials come in with their jetpacks, the first thing I thought of was that little mini-arc in Rebels where Sabine was revealed to have created some tech for the Empire that had something to do with the Mandalorian beskar armor, whereupon she was like “yeah I did that but I must destroy that tech because it’s bad even though I did it when was in the Academy”

I thought it was cool when the theme song played as Din brought up the back of the war party, and advanced to the front of it, charging headfirst into battle, with Paz and Bo right behind him.

Din is captured and disarmed, and Moff Gideon states, “Thanks to your planet’s rich resources, I have created the next-generation Dark Trooper suit forged from Beskar alloy.” The fact that he says “next-generation” implies that there was a previous generation to begin with. Aka, Sabine’s technology for the Empire that had something to do with Beskar. I don’t know if this is true or false.

Gideon also says, “By aggregating the best of each [cloners, Jedi], I will create an army that will bring order to the galaxy”. That is part of the groundwork for the beginnings of the First Order.

Bo creates a diversion, an escape route, and Paz leads the way out, firing his gatling gun-type blaster cannon like a man with nothing else to lose. He fires repeatedly, and ignores Bo’s orders. His final sacrifice is noble and is no less what is expected of a Mandalorian like him.

The appearance of the Praetorian Guards are no surprise. We last saw them in TLJ, very efficient warriors and guardsmen. Makes sense that they be brought out to bring down the last Mandalorian standing in the room. They waste little energy and leave as quickly as they enter.

Finishing thoughts:

I like how this episode went. With the multiple mentions of Thrawn and Hux, the intentional integration of a Meiloorun fruit, and the mention of “next-gen” beskar armor, I really would not be surprised if Thrawn and/or Ezra and/or Ahsoka and/or Sabine make an appearance toward the end of next week’s finale, given the trailer for Ahsoka from Celebration weekend.

Also not surprising that Pedro Pascal and Katie Sackhoff are top-billed this episode. The rest get “co-starring” credits.

One interesting feature is a concept art in the credits showing all the Mandalorians by the fire, and Din and Bo are speaking to each other, his hand on her shoulder. This scene was never in the show. But the overall concept art is amazing in terms of scale, lighting, and detail.

We still have one more episode to go. Emily Swallow, who portrays The Armorer, spoke with Collider during the Lucasfilm panel at Celebration. When asked what she thought fans would think of next week’s finale, she had this to say: “Well, I think there are gonna be some people who are like 'Woohoo! Yeah!'' and some people were like 'I hate this!' this because there always are.” I can’t wait until next week to find out what that is.

A= Affection (how do they show affection)

First of all this man is terrified to show any affection because even the remote possibility of you moving away or rejecting him is just...its too much for him. I definitely see him as an acts of service kind of guy. He will listen to offhanded comments you make on things you like. So if you said you liked a certain kind of flowers, youre going to see those randomly in your room. Or your favorite music? It will be playing when you guys do need to take a vehicle or flight for a mission of some kind. Felix absolutely never says anything about this stuff either he just does it and leaves. It second nature to him.

Now for Felix... he wont want to initiate any kind of physical contact with you but he melts when you touch him. Touching him helps him understand you truly don’t fear him, adores when you put his hand on the side of your face and lean into it or kiss his hand. He knows what he is capable of and the fact that you trust him enough to have it there makes him feel as if not every part of him is as evil as others know him to be

B= Beautiful (what is their pet name for you)

I think it’s pretty much canon that he will call you little one. Everyone is little to him but you’re special and that’s just you’re nickname. If he’s upset he will probably use your actual name.

C= Cuddles (Are they a cuddly person?)

He wants to be. The more comfortable he feels that he won’t hurt you the more he’s willing to be more cuddly. Once he’s settled though he isn’t going want to leave, he isn’t planning on going anywhere if you are okay with that. Loved when

D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? What kind of future do they want)

Not big on the traditional marriage and all of that, it’s a very human materialistic tradition and out of all of the guard he is much more of a minimalist. Again though this man listens, if he catches wind that any of that is something you’d like he will try his hardest to give it to you. Being with the volturi gives him purpose so he really doesn’t want to leave nor would the kings want him to leave. But I could see him use some savings he had to get you guys a nice cottage or something to get away every once in awhile

E= End (How would they break up with their partners if they had to? What would make them do that in the first place?)

Felix would never end things. Till death due you part is something he takes very seriously. I would say he is hesitant in initiating any sort of relationship with you. He knows he had a reputation as a flirt and you’re too special to treat you like anyone else because you’re not just anyone else, not to him. He is going to suddenly stop making flirty jokes to the other women in the coven and they all know immediately something is up. And it takes a lot of pushing from everyone to get him to initiate even a friendly conversation or continue a friendly conversation if you are the one initiating

F= Fear (Whats something that terrifies them)/ Fiance (How would they propose)

Other than losing you? Probably you being afraid of him. In any aspect he fears you seeing him in a fight and tries to separate his work and you as much as possible. Everyone has more than one persona in the volturi they have to be taken seriously in their world so most know whatever they portray. Felix worries about you not being able to separate the two.

Felix would probably take you back to wherever you had your first real or kiss and propose in a way that ties everything back to that moment. He will only propose if you want a whole wedding ordeal. Aro probably pushes him to do it also because it’s an excuse for a party. He will end up enjoying more than he expected though. If marriage isn’t a big deal he will make a big deal out of anniversaries and he plans on gifting you rings and jewelry anyway however you wear it is up to you. A band of metal isn’t what binds him to you.

G= Gentle (How gentle are they emotionally, physically?)

Emotionally Felix could be described as cold but in reality he’s just a problem solver. If something is upsetting you he thinks of the most rational way to fix it not necessarily knowing or understanding why you would want to just vent. He has trouble doing that himself often internalizing until he just has a bad day and takes it out on whatever poor guard has training duty that day. Felix hates being perceived as weak so it will take some work for him to open up.

Physically in what aspect?? Like any form of touch he’s going to be very gentle and for the nighttime activities he’s going as slow as you’re comfortable with. He will gain more confidence on that aspect quickly

H= Hugs (Are they a hugger? What do their hugs feel like? How much do they like to hug?)

His hugs just envelop you. Not quite bear hugs but the hug that you never want to let go it feels so comfortable. He always gives a tiny extra squeeze before letting go every time. If you’re having a bad day and it’s not something he can fix he will hold you until there’s no tears left

I= I love you (how soon did they know they were in love? How long did it take to say the words?)

It depends. When did you guys start being friends from there when did he finally ask to hang out just the two of you or did you ask? This timeline varies depending on you, from the moment he saw you he knew he was attracted to you that does not mean he thought it was fair to pursue you. When the rest of the guard is together he will try and find a moment to talk with you one on one. Demetri and Heidi will absolutely help without him noticing because he’s too nervous to even talk to you. After you guys go out on one date though it doesn’t take long for him to fall very deeply in love. He worries about saying anything in case you don’t reciprocate his feelings, as far as he knows you might just be scared to say no to him. Ask him what’s on his mind a few months in when he’s super fidgety and it’s bound to come out, he can barely contain it honestly

J= Jealousy (Do they get jealous easily? Do they try and make you jealous)

Yeah. Entirely too easily too. Even when the two you barely spoke or were only friends he would grow quite sullen at sight of you with another man. Even if that man was just talking with you, but say he saw you laugh or hug them….well some poor guard probably had a harder day during training. Even now that you’re in a relationship he worries because he is constantly gone due to missions. So in a sense it isn’t jealousy but a yearning to be the one you always have to go when you need help, he knows it’s impossible but it hurts him to think you don’t need him. It would be cute if he wasn’t so genuinely worried about losing you.

K= Kisses (what do their kisses feel like? Where do they like to kiss you?)

The first time he let himself believe there might be a chance you could like him and accepted him for who he is he took a chance at kissing you. A lot of the guard had gone outside of the castle for the night. Felix is honestly more of an introvert and you could see his leg shaking and him getting anxious the more you were out. You offered to go back to the castle and the two of you ended stopping at the fountain to look at the stars. You both overheard a couple of humans talking about Heidi and trying to justify her rejection towards them by saying she of all people wasnt that pretty. The two of you couldn’t help but laugh and as you locked eyes for a second he pressed his lips against yours. It was quick, way too quick Felix pulled back and stared at the ground, you were both now painfully aware that at one point you hands had intertwined. You wondered if he regretted it. You asked if he wanted to head inside and he only nodded in response but didn’t let go of your hand. You were a few steps in when he suddenly pulled you back into the shadows “I can do better than that..” he said in a low growl he looked at you to make sure it was okay before cradling your face between his hands and letting his lips meet yours. You seemed to melt into eachother and you it couldn’t have been more than 10 seconds but it was deep and left you with longing you weren’t able to ignore any longer.

Around others the only place he will kiss you is on the cheek, even when he gets back from missions he greets you that way first but when he’s been away he makes sure it’s closer to your ear so he can whisper how much he missed you.

The other regular day to day kisses are more short and passionate and he always lingers a bit similar to the way he hugs or embraces you.

For Felix the best way to show him you love him honestly is when you began kissing the back of his hand, particularly his knuckles. He’s seen and caused so much destruction the fact that you show no hesitancy to him means the literal world.

L= Littles (Do they want kids? What are they like around kids? How many?)

Maybe in another life, but he sees himself as too much of a danger. He is selfish enough to not want to let you go but he doesn’t even think you should be around him so kids would be a definite nope. And if you were juman he would never put you in the kind of pain Bella went through it just wouldn’t happen.

M= Mornings Memory

Vampires can’t sleep but Felix is one of the older members in the guard he’s seen and done a lot. And a lot of it he isn’t proud of. Because he can’t sleep memories seem to creep in, it affects everyone differently for Felix it silences him turning him into a shell of someone. It’s almost as if he is back in that memory and it’s almost impossible for him to escape. You have to be careful when he has one of these spells because it is the only time his senses are off, the gentlest touch will jolt him back into reality. It takes him a second to realize where he is and he almost always seems as if all of his energy has been sapped from him.

It’s extremely rare but not impossible to get a handful of immortal children cases. The memory that haunts Felix the most is one of the children that was created shortly after they had been made illegal. The vampire was unaware but still extremely possessive. He hadn’t had to personally get rid of the children, and this one…they had been crying no whimpering for their mother. The transformation process wasn’t even complete and this tiny and helpless human was under the worst pain imaginable. Everyone in the room was uncomfortable with what they had to do, he didn’t remember what guard member eventually had to take care of the child but he would never their eyes the process was almost complete and it was as if this child knew what was happening opening it’s eyes just once before they had disappeared forever.

Ever since immortal children are not brought up no one likes what they have to do but Felix stiffens at the slight mention of it. He can hear their creator screaming at him and calling him a monster as he held him back before ultimately having to get rid of them too.

N= Nights Newborn

I’m sure we can all imagine that Felix was a rough newborn to keep under control. No one was able to stop him when he went into a frenzy and even if they had wanted to kill him there was no with the ability to. Not yet, all of the kings had been injured at the hands of Felix as a newborn when they tried to calm him when he first woke up. Once his thirst was quenched he was willing to listen and hear out Aros plan. He had no one left in his life and they quickly became part of the family he craved. Word spread of Felix early on and during some of the wars they went through there was a point where a group of at least six relatively bigger vampires decided the best way to win was to take them out in groups, they ganged up on Felix and consequently due to more than one coven trying this he has his fair share of scars. He isn’t proud of them and often (thank you @avyannadawn for this idea I will use this till the day I die) hides his scars with long sleeves or scarfs.

O= Open up (When do they feel comfortable enough to open up? Is it all at once or painfully slow? Do you have to dig?)

I’m realizing that I may have given this guy a bit too much trauma… Felix isn’t one to hide his past but he won’t give anything up you won’t ask. For the memories that start to bother him you will have to find him zoning out or maybe you will be talking to him and he will suddenly stop answering at something triggering and it’s hard to get his attention back. When it comes to his past and scars it is something you’re going to ask offhandedly, it could be a simple question just asking why he has so many scarves or something like but but his discomfort will be apparent and you’re going to have to give him time to be able to talk about. Which he will with you because he doesn’t want to feel like he’s hiding himself from you and he feels like you have the right to decide if his past is too much.

P= Patience (Are they quick to anger? How do they calm down?)

No one is more patient than Felix at least with you. He sees little to no need for an argument if it’s something that bothers you that greatly he would rather you be pleased anyway. Outside of your relationship it depends on who he’s with, is someone bothering you? Or saying some thing unkind about you? Rage. You’re perfect as far as he’s concerned. Some trials carry a heavier burden than others and he may come into your room upset but he won’t direct it at you. He literally just lies down and tries to breathe to calm himself often covering his eyes with his arm, as if that would shield you from what he went through. Often times you sitting down next to him and running your hand through his hair will do the trick. You’ll see when he’s calmed down because you can literally see him relax his muscles. Afterwards he will want to rest his on you and will probably try to apologize

Q= Quiet/Quizzes(What do they like to do when they have time to be alone? What fun things do they remember about you? Do they remember everything?)

Alone and worth you he enjoys the video games humans have come up with over the years. Not the violent shooting ones he has enough of that in his life but just mind numbing arcade games or worldbuilding rpg games. I dare you to show him something like Pokémon he won’t be able to shut up about it.

Remembers everythingggg. Specifically though he remembers your emotions a lot so if he knows something makes you upset he’s going to try his best to make sure that doesn’t happen again and likewise will try and steer you towards things he knows make you light up.

R= Recovery (How you take of them and vice versa after a battle?)

It’s been a long while he’s needed to recover from a battle. There just aren’t big covens he needs to worry about anymore and Alec and Jane help cover him every time. He will also do his fam fest to keep you out of a battle but on the off chance someone tries to hurt you he’s going to check on you first. Making sure someone is covering him, he will gently place his hand over any part of you that’s hurt but this is one of those times he’s seeing read he’s going to look at you and you just have to place your hand on his cheek for him to know you’re okay, he will ask Demetri to watch you before he goes on a warpath

S= Safety/Solution (How protective are they? How do they solve problems)

Uhm extremely. He will die trying to shield you before a hair on your head is out of place. The kings are wary to put you two together because you distract him from his mission. If the kings are going to need to be summoned they know to keep you away not that they don’t care about you but they need Felix 100% focused. Felix prefers it that way anyway

T= Try/ Touch (How much effort do they put in? When they need or want your touch what do they do? How often do they do this?)

I need to stop answering these in past questions. He puts in all of the effort. He simultaneously gets so awkward when you do the same. He can’t believe someone is willing to pay attention to small things he says like that. He literally has no idea he does the same. But do something for him and he is going to try and outdo it because you definitely didn’t need to do all of that for him and you are the one that deserves to be spoiled blah blah blah the man doesn’t know how to receive not platonic love.

U= Ugly Side (What a pet peeve of yours they have? Bad habits?)

He shuts down. It’s obvious when he’s having a hard time and he is a terrible liar when he tries to spare your feelings. He doesn’t want you to be as down as him. He doesn’t even let Demetri know and Demetri knows everything but words like hurt his feelings a lot. He knows that people see him as an executioner it comes with the job. Felix has gotten hood at masking but when he tries to do that shit with you when you know it bothers him because he’s told you before ✋✋✋

V= Vanity (Do they concern themselves over how they look?)

He dresses nice but he doesn’t actively try to. He is mostly focused on covering up so when Demetri decided to get him clothes that’s what he’s used. Same with you anything you’ve replaced he uses. Also he makes sure to have spray your perfume on whatever scarf he’s using. He will also ask you wear some of them around every once in awhile so it smells like when he wears it.

W= Whole (What makes them feel complete?)

Cheesy as it is, you’re the one thing he was missing. You make him whole. He loves some of the family he has in the guard but when he met you he would have been ready to run away if it meant you were safe. The fact that you love the world he’s in means that much more to him.

Y= Yuck (What do they not like in a partner?)

I think someone who makes all of their jokes somewhat degrading, making fun of a slip up is one thing but he hates people that make jokes on appearance or things people could take seriously. He doesn’t like fake niceties

Z= Zzzzz (How do they sleep? Sleeping Habits?)

After guard duty or a mission he’s making sure he gets at least a full evening with you before going to hang out with anyone else. He just needs time to be with you when he can. Afterwards he enjoys either reading or playing some games with you (yes both kinds). If there’s time, it’s relaxing to mess around with the other guards. Felix does enjoy to have fun and he has had some elaborate pranks throughout the years that he would love to have your help in.

I've been seeing some chatter about Goblin Slayer again (I think the second season is coming out) and like. I want a place to shout something into the void. The work is obviously inspired by ttrpg, an interest of mine, and it gives it a heck darned bad name too. Yes, the use of sexual assault is puerile and yes the eugenic logic the show builds up from is gross, but far, far worse, this isn't how ttrpgs are supposed to be run.

I remember reading the LN by recommendation of someone I don't associate with anymore, sometime shortly after the anime was announced. I saw the little guild have dnd 5e sheets in there for resumes and I'm like "awww that's cute". Then the rest of that first dungeon happens and I'm like :/. Because to an extent of course I am, but also, I put myself in the mind of a player at that table and believe you me-- if the DM put the group into a situation we were meant to lose to fuck us over and put his super cool OC in to save the day? I'd walk away. And as patience trying as that must've been, imagine sitting in anyway, maybe he convinces you out of game that he just wanted to establish stakes and you can make new high level characters now to accompany him. Okay now he spends the next several minutes (pages) describing to you all these women you are wont to oggle, the fullness of their breasts and the shortness of their skirts and -- Hey? You're not rolling our dice with the same hand you've been using to write under the table have you? Get the fuck *out.* I get that most people consume media in a different way from me, and most probably got onboarded by the anime which probably never made pretense that it was supposed to be about roleplaying. But at the same time my head explodes because we all know there's gonna be someone who gets too inspired and throws caution to the wind and makes their whole table uncomfortable because bleh. Simply have better ideas, idunfuckinknow

A/n: Sorry for the longe wait. This chapter is pretty short but I'm still happy with it. Still not sure where this story is going or hoe it will end but I like where I'm taking it. Thanks for the love of this series. More to come.

Part 4

Y/n’s Pov

Darkness. That’s all I saw around me, total darkness. It felt like I couldn’t feel my own body as darkness surrounded me. I screamed out to the void not getting a response, I don’t know here I am or what happened, but I didn’t like being here. “Eddie! Billy! Hello!” Nothing but a dark black abbas giving me no sense of direction. I was lost, alone and scared. I felt my heart rate pick up as my body began to shake as I screamed out for the two people that mean the world to me who can possibly save me from this void. “HELP!!” I fell to my knees in despair just wanting to go home. Then something in the void changed, I heard something in the distance and began to follow it. The sound became louder as I moved farther into the darkness. Once I was close enough, I could finally hear Eddie and Billy’s voices but not just them talking, they were singing. Singing my song. I felt tears leave my eyes as I began running to their voices hoping to come across my boys in this darkness. Their voices were fading in and out, but I could still hear them. “Eddie, Billy! Can you hear me? Hello? Help me!” The sound of them singing was then behind me which made me turn around. Behind me was a big blue door with a silver handle, I slowly walked towards it cautiously not knowing where it would take me but knowing my boys were in this direction.

I place my hand on the handle opening the door. The sight that I walked into was hard to take in, it was a hospital room all around the area was still in a black void but the hospital bed, monitor and my boys sitting at the end of the bed remained. I walked through the threshold of the door and began to feel tears in my eyes as I listened to my boys sing my song. I was about to speak to them when I finally noticed who was on the hospital bed. I then came face to face with myself sleeping soundly but breathing rapidly, I sat on the bed looking at myself not believing what I’m seeing but not questioning it from how much we’ve all been through these last few years, with the upside down and Vecna, I’m glad thats all behind us and we can move on. I looked back at my boys where they came to the last verse making me smile at them and place my hand on both of theirs. The second they finished the song all my worry was gone, and I was happy to see them again. My body finally stopped shaking and all the monitors stopped beeping wildly and went back to normal. “She’s ok Ed’s” I smile at hearing their voices “Yea wait till she finds out we know her favorite song.” I laugh along with Billy “Yea will never hear the end of it.” I nod “No you both wont.” After they spoke their voices disappeared and a bright light was coming from the door I walked through. I warm feeling came over me as I walked closer to it, I wasn’t really paying attention to what I was doing or where it would go until I heard my heart monitor beep slower, and I immediately moved away. I tested it by walking back to the bed hearing the monitor go back to normal. I realize that wherever I am is giving me a choice to either stay or leave. A big decision I never thought I would have to make. If I leave and say goodbye to my boys forever or do I stay with them but must deal with this town and Jason that caused all this to happen, not only that but by now I assume the doctors would know my real age and take me away anyway. It’s a lose-lose situation. I move away from the door and sit back onto the bed where Billy and Eddie sit, I watch as they look after me while also looking stressed out themselves. Would it be easier for all of us if I just accepted what happened to me as a sign to just give up? Billy and Eddie would have normal lives again, be able to do the things they want without me stopping them. But if I stay, will everything change or be the same? Would the doctors have someone take me away right away or give me time? Not that I own anything anymore, it's all gone. Nowhere to live, nothing but the clothes on my back, I know the boys would just have me stay with them, but I couldn’t ask them to do that. I don’t want to be a burden. I got out of my head looking at my boys talk amongst each other never taking their hands away from mine, knowing that they would do anything for me. And I know they wouldn’t want to give up, especially not on us. I can feel the pull from the door beckoning me to enter and leave for good, but I can't not with so many people who care about me. I stood up from my seat and came face to face with the door giving myself a big sigh “I can’t I’m not ready.” The door then immediately shut, and the pull was gone.

I turned back to the bed and saw my body was glowing a light blue and beckoned me to it. I took one last look at my boys knowing that I made the right choice, we would be better if were together. So, I took a deep breath and placed my hand onto my own which sent of a bright like taking me into darkness. The feeling of air coming back into my lungs hit me like a train as my eyes shot open making me see nothing but blurry images and hearing soft voices. I felt feeling come back into my body as I moved all my muscles and took a deep breath which caused me to cough a little. My eyes finally adjusted to everything around me, and I found myself in a hospital room surrounded by people I love including my boys. Tears suddenly left my eyes as they both looked in my direction, all I remember is Jason leaving me to die and thinking I would never see them again but seeing in front of me brought me to realize that everything was ok. I was ok. But I still ended up asking. “Are you real?” Both boys came to my side and held my hands “Hey, baby its ok we’re here we’re real.” Billy wiped my tears away as Eddie kissed my head “I thought I’d never see you both again.” They both smile my way as Eddie spoke “It’s ok Y/n, everything's ok now.” I smile but then shake my head “We’re in the hospital, aren't we?” They both sigh and nodded knowing what I was going to say. “That means my age. They're going to know and when they do, they will.” Before I continued both boys reassured me that I wasn't going anywhere, and Hopper spoke “They are going to give Eddie and Billy a chance to take you in and take care of you.” I looked at them both in shock, were they willing to take me in? I shouldn't be surprised they’ve been trying to get me to move in with them for months. I smile there way “You would really do that?” Billy laughed “Darling is that even a question? Of course, we would.” I smile and then notice the bandages on both their hands and the soot in their hair and clothes. “Why are you guys dirty?” Before they could answer the doctor walked in asking if he could speak to Hopper and Joyce, leaving us alone for the first time.

“Boys? Why are you dirty and smell like smoke?” Then I realized there not telling me because I already knew. I remember seeing the boys in my room, which means they went in after me, they risked their lives to save me. “You both ran into my house to save me?” They both nodded as tears fell down my face “Then I owe you both my life, without either one of you I wouldn’t be here, so thank you to the both of you.” They smile and both kiss my cheeks. “We would do anything for you sweetheart.” Before we could continue talking a commotion caught our attention from outside the room, Billy was about to investigate when the door slammed open revealing a woman I never wanted to see again. My mother. “Get back from my daughter the both of you, you are not family, you are not allowed in here.” I was verbally shaking as Billy spoke “I’m sorry but who gave you the right to be here?” my mother barked back “I am her mother, and I suggest young man that you step out of this room along with your friend or I will have you removed.” Before Billy could say anything back the doctor walked in with Hopper, so my mother thought they were here from her call “Finally Doctor remove them from this room immediately Officer I suggest by force they seem aggressive, and when can my daughter be allowed to leave for home?” I was shaking in fear and not knowing what to do or how I could get out of this, I can't get home with her, I just can't. But the doctors might side with her since she's my mother and I’m only eighteen. I can’t breathe. “Ma’am let's talk about this out here Y/n has been through a lot tonight, so I suggest giving her some rest.” She laughs “Do you really think I’m going to leave my daughter in this room with two men? You have another thing coming. Remove them now or I will have you lose your job.” Hopper only laughed as he grabbed my mother's arm escorting her out. “Like I said ma'am let's talk out here.” “Unhand me.” But he pulled her out of the room none the less, telling Billy to keep an eye of me and he’ll make sure she won't step into this room.

mitski's song, "i bet on losing dogs" is metaphor-heavy. she could be talking about wanting to salvage a relationship of some kind.. maybe trying to convince herself that someone still loves her, somewhat like lying to herself..?

this is just my speculation and i highly doubt it is accurate but its just my opinion :')

(slight tw: mentions of drugs, alcohol gambling... very slight only a single mention)

"My baby, my baby You're my baby, say it to me"

typically, couples call each other baby as an affectionate gesture (or at least someone close.) shes somewhat forcing the person shes talking about to call her baby. convincing them to be loving with her.

"I bet on losing dogs I know they're losing and I'll pay for my place By the ring"

mitski is betting on a "losing dog", the losing dog in this context may be a failing relationship? she knows that she'll lose her money by betting on this "dog", and yet, mitski bets anyway. maybe betting on this "dog" is the only way she can cope with her crumbling relationship with this person. (somewhat how people drink and gamble as a way to numb something?? maybe im stretching it)

"Where I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down I'll be there on their side I'm losing by their side"

once again, mitski is betting on a dog, and when it loses she looks "it" in the eyes. coming to terms with how she cannot save her relationship. again, trying to numb the inevitable.

"Will you let me, baby, lose On losing dogs"

she asks her baby, her partner, permission to try and save her relationship though she knows its too late. she knows that this dog will lose no matter how much money she bets on it.

"I wanna feel it I bet on losing dogs I always want you when I'm finally fine"

her trying to feel anything left from her relationship? shes once again counting on something that she knows will inevitably fail. the last line doesnt make sense to me?? maybe like how a dog is extremely loyal to their master even if they hurt it (not all dogs but yk)

"How you'd be over me looking in my eyes when I come Someone to watch me die"

before she becomes the dog, i guess her lover would look in the "dogs" eyes before the fight starts? that line seems like mitski is switching her perspective from the better to the "dog" itself. whatever dog loses in dog fights.. usally gets put down or killed..

why would mitski narrate herself as the dog instead of the person betting on it? at least im pretty sure shes trying to convince they still love her, hence how she asks them to call her their baby. again, how shes betting on "losing dogs", willing to put her money into something she knows won't work in the end, sort of trying to hold onto the last bit of hope i guess??

in a way, i relate to this song. or at least, my interpretation of it. i find myself counting on things or people even if i know they they wont fully stick around

hello. earlier i made my game 'UNITRES Dreams' open source on github. i want to talk about it. click the little 'read more' thingy to read da rest of this post. i had a lot of things i wanted to say about it and why i think open sourcing games is kind of awesome Lol !!!

so. let me start off by saying that, although i was planning on releasing the source code for unitres for a long while, i was Not prepared to release it now. in fact, it kind of happened on accident.

in case you didnt know, earlier on twitter i was talking about how i wished there was a good way to release my archive of old builds for the game. i have a google drive full of old builds but i also i dont like using google drive. i sent a link to the drive in a reply to someones tweet, but there is one big thing i forgot: the game's project file is also in that drive.

anyways, instead of just deleting the reply or removing the file from the drive, i decided to just release the source code on github now, since i might as well. a part of me feels like i shouldnt have released it so suddenly... but also a part of me feels relieved.

you see, the unitres dreams source code is Bad. tons of messy code with almost no comments... a bunch of hackish solutions to tons of problems... everything is just incomprehensible unless youre me. considering ive been the only person working on the game for years, i understand most of the code and never needed to make comments (especially since making comments in construct 2 is Annoying).

my original plan for releasing the source code was to go back and clean everything up; improving tons of messy systems and adding comments explaining how everything worked. i also was planning on adding new content for a new update to the game aswell.. such as an options menu and maybe new levels and characters or something. i have Tried going back a few times to clean some little things up and work on a keybinding system... but i havent had the time to focus on it and do what ive wanted to do with it.

so, yeah. im kind of glad the source code is just Out now. it probably wouldve taken me Years just to do what i planned... and i think its best to just get it out now instead of just waiting years for something that might never happen, even if the source code right now is incredibly insane and unusable.

which leads me to something most people might be wondering: Why even release the source code in the first place? honestly, i doubt a lot of people will get use out of it, especially with the bad code and it being made in an old, dead engine that you cant even Buy anymore. but despite this... i think its good to release the source code for your games for a few reasons...

for one, its good for archival reasons. ive had a huge anxiety over losing all the source code for my games... its happened to me before and it really hurts. not only can you not use it in the future, but you lose a lot of work youve done, and for me ive lost a ton of games which were important to my journey as a game dev. nowadays, i try to hold onto all of my projects and have saved them to multiple computers and hard drives, but releasing them on stuff like github and google drive at least makes me feel a little better.. and hopefully with the unitres source code being public and the google drive for the old builds being out, it means that i wont have to worry about losing either of them.

another big reason is that, even if no one uses the source code for anything like mods or whatever, i think games having their source code out is good for learning game dev and understanding how games are made, even if the code is a big mess. even if i did get to go with my plan of cleaning up the source code... i feel like thatd be kind of dishonest, cus Most games Never have perfect code when theyre made. its good if you use the most messy code in existence just to get the game done... you can't always spend forever perfecting something, and at the end of the day the game eventually has to come out at some point. even big triple A projects will have weird code in some places... thats just a fact of life. i think having the source code out lets people see the kinds of crazy stuff that goes into a game, and maybe seeing my crazy code will influence others to do things a lot better in their own things. that's what i think, anyways.

and hey, even if My game never gets any sort of modding community, that doesnt mean Your game wont. there are a lot of communities out there who make some crazy things with mods.. and things such as open source games or decompilations can lead to some incredible stuff. with decompilations, youve got things such as mario 64 or the retro engine sonic games being ported to pretty much Everything, and then youve got open source games like Doom and friday night funkin which are being pretty much kept alive Because theyre open source and have a huge modding community. even if a game never gets as much interest as those.. it doesnt mean it never will, and having a game be open source can help a community grow so much more.

anyways umm yea. i think making games open source is awesome. there is a little part of me that feels weird about making unitres dreams specifically open source and the possibility that people might make fangames and mods out of it, as its something thats really personal to me (especially since the main character is named after me), but if people do make fangames and stuff with it i dont think ill mind, especially since a lot of my early work was fan games and unitres dreams takes a lot of inspiration from the media i love. all that i ask is that people include the original credits from the game in their thing, especially if you reuse any of the music from the original soundtrack.

i think, at the end of the day, my goal with this is to inspire more people to open source their games. a lot of good things can come out of it. that's all i have to say i think. play unitres dreams on newgrounds dot com ehehehe !!

hi markets how is life going for u bc basically the guy who was my best friend for years well we stopped talkign last spring completely bc long story short he was Very in love with me and i could not get myself to feel the same even though i TRIED girl i genuinely tried sohard but that just ended up with him feelinbg led on and hurt and asked to never speak to me again hahalol well yeah he just texted me out of the blue bc he got a leaked frank ocean song and sent it me. because he knows i love frank ocean and knew i wouldg love it and whAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THAT DOESNT HE REALIZE THAT NOW THIS SONG WILL BE FOREVER ATTACHED TO THE FEELING OF GUILT AND HEARTBREAK AND ILL NEVER BE NORMAL ABOUT A SONG THAT WILL PROBABLY NEVER BE RELEASED AND WILL ONLY EVER EXIST AS AN ATTACHMENT IN OUR MESSAGES????? anyway yeah. the song wasgood

ANON. anon listen to me because i literally had this exaxt same situation with my (now ex) best friend SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL almost two years ago. i also tried and i also accidentally led on and hurt them and they didnt ask me to never speak to them again and actually jsut ignored me all summer instead and likely got all our shared friends (aka most of my friends lol) to do the same so i just didnt bother trying to reconnect once school started again. im also currently on the other end of this kind of as the best friend who took that old best friends place (though we probably wouldve ended up becoming best friends even without that whole mess i hope) broke up with me after a few very good months of dating and a few very bad ones and i asked him not to speak to me for a while but then decided to reconnect with (which judging by the fact that im active on tumblr could be going better).

so yeah now that ive given you my credentials heres what you do you thank him if you havent already and tell him you hope hes doing well and then you put your phone down and go on a walk far far away from it and think about the whole thing. that isnt the best advice because there realyl is no good advice for this situation its one of those things that tears you apart and then points at you and says haha oh YOURE torn apart you say wow what a selfish asshole haha!! but honestly its so clear to me just from this one ask that you care about him so much and im sure he can see that too. if hes texting you he can at least see it a little, and if you would like to do so im sure your friendship is salvagable. the person who put me as the heartbreak emoji in their "people i had feelings for this year" tik tok last december invited me to their house last month and we laughed and joked even though last time i had been there i had been pretending to feel something i could only wish i truly felt. and i dont think theirs an effort more admirable and beautiful than trying to save something like that, than looking the world straight in the eyes and saying "you want me to leave this for dead but i wont because i CARE and that means something." i mean if he wants too of course. which if he sent the text he might thats kind of how i wnet about it when i tried to reconnect too. maybe take this with a grain of salt because im in a highly emotional time in my life but all im going to say is im sorry anon. i know how awful it is to lose a best friend. and im hoping everything goes well for both of you

ok after Thee category 5 doubleblack moment and watching tristamp w my brother i'll answer this sk8 ask. then i'll go look at deathnote images saved to my phone to complete the collection of anime i care about

so you will never believe me but sk8. is about. a bunch. of skater boys. we have langa who moves to japan from canada after his dad dies bc his mom's japanese. him and his dad used to do snowboarding together but langa got lowkey depressed after his death and doesn't feel much passion for snowboarding anymore. plus he lives in beachy town now so it'd be impossible anyway

he meets reki there tho. and Oh reki is just like. the sun. they're in class together but didn't really talk (langa doesn't talk much) but they bump into each other while reki's out skating and he gets langa to try it and it just. goes downhill from there

reki takes him to S !!! which is this like super secret skaterz place that opens at night on some mountain where they have races and place bets and stuff. long story short langa finds that Spark he's missed ever since his dad died in reki and skateboarding - as in, yeah sure skating's fun but it's reki that makes his heart beat fast and not the adrenaline or whatever. it's not Skating itself that makes him happy but it's skating With Reki. they're so fucking SWEET. they have a bit of a fight halfway thru the series bc reki has some inferiority complex and langa almost loses the Spark again. it's really sweet. at some point he vaguely talks to his mom abt this fight and she assumes it's about a girl he likes so she asks him. "you LIKE this person don't you" and langa BLUSHES HE'S SO CUTE and says yeah :// so she hypes him up to go talk things out and says. good lird. "show her she's a lucky girl!!" and langa. i am quoting word for word. answers. "what girl." gay people real

and those ^ are the little boyfriends. now the BIG boyfriends ugh !! unsufferable. you got kojiro aka joe and kaoru aka cherry and we meet them at s. in fact they FOUNDED s when they were teens along w adam who's the bad guy in this show and i want him dead. joe is. built like a brickhouse and mildly italian ?? he runs a restaurant during the day and the Gang meets up there a lot he's the sweetest in the world and worries and helps the kids anytime he can i adore him. cherry's gnc af (you're insane) he's pretty as fuck and had a Punk Phase as a kid where he had a couple of piercings and emo bangs and NO ONE has ever looked better EVER but he's Mean but still Cares. when they met adam back in the day him & cherry had a lil somethin somethin going on but he ended up dumping them Both for being boring bc he's insane. i don't wanna talk abt him. so that leaves cherry & joe alone again - which is cool. they've been together since preschool they're the type to bicker and talk shit 24/7 while still always being glued to each other. they're so Horny but they won't fuck. everyone at s wonts them carnally. the kids (by this i mean reki & langa but mostly miya who's like a little shit pro skater they picked up along the way) (shoutout to the icp clown rockstar legend shadow who's the 6th and final member of The Gang) call them mom and dad Frequently and they call the gang "The Kids" an incriminating amount of times (they accidentally adopted two 16yos one 14yo and one 24yo. at age 26)

realizing i don't Know how to explain joe & cherry you kinda just have to witness them. there's this bit where cherry's explaining to The Kids how adam does one of his moves so he skates right up to joe and says "Hello..." in a. weird fucking tone and joe hisses back "You're Too Close!!!" threatheningly like he's gonna fuckin Jump him. there's this other bit during THEE beach episode where joe's flirting w some ladies (he's a manwhore) and miya grabs him pretends that he's his dad and tells him that Mommy's mad !! pointing at cherry who's like napping sexily. and joe actually looks at him and like fuckin whimpers and blushes like a virgin and all he can say for himself is THAT IS NOT YOUR MOM !!!! hello. what was that. also there's the bit where adam fuckin slams his board across cherry's face (?!?!?!?) and joe picks him up like a princess (which he calls him sometimes. princess and pinky and the likes) and gets him to the hospital and THEN cherry sneaks out of the hospital to go to joe's restaurant and falls asleep there and joe looks at him sooo tenderly and says something like "at least we aren't alone right kaoru?" and it's Sweet bc cherry has troubles sleeping but he feels safe enough to sleep around joe..... don't u wanna scream

OK OK SO. I'll put this under the cut bc a) its long and b) it has spoilers for everything thats been translated so far (so up through hajime DLC!). This will involve predictions and theories that probably wont be relevant for a WHILE so there might be things that show up in hermits room/interlude/CoM! If you've played further than whats been translated into english please don't confirm or deny anything, I wanna find out as i play <3

anyways disclaimer over time for my elaborate theory time

HEAR ME OUT. Sanemitsu Isoi's power, his 'will', is the ability to rewrite the past/reality, which is also what the Harada Factor is. It's literally the ability to rewrite the world's definitions and change the world. LITERALLY REWRITING REALITY.

Mutei Harada did this to 'write' Seodore Riddle's Empyrean Cells into existence, which is the 'role' he was assigned (that of the announcer).

We know Sanemitsu is hesitant to use his ability (and hasn't in years). I think he's scared to use his ability to get back what he lost (OG reiji, rai, haruki/being a dad to haruki, hajime and utsugi and his friendships with everyone in the institute) because he knows if he retcons the timeline, he'd never meet Reiji, his SON, who he is so desperately scared of losing. Seodore mentions in Reiji's DLC that reiji is sanemitsu's number one priority, the one person who is desperately trying to hold on to. If Sanemitsu uses his ability, he cant guarantee that he'd be able to meet reiji again and be his dad,, Also, If Sanemitsu uses this ability, I don't think he'd remember the original timeline. I think he'd get bits and pieces, but not everything.

Seodore wanted Sanemitsu on his side because he wants him to Retcon his immortality/let him finally die. This is why he tells Hatsutori that it's not his INTENT to change the past, but as a result of his wish (removing his immortality), the past would change as a result. Seodore's factor (the Riddle factor? Empyrean factor? IDK) allows him to remember the other arrival points in some way. This is what the Purple TextTM is, and why his purple text appears at the end of each ending. it's META.

This also explains how seodore is in the right places at the right times to recruit people; he's slightly/somewhat aware of what happens in the other worldlines/arrival points. When he uses Brugmansia, he just decides on a timeline where That Thing Didn't happen. my evidence for this is the explosion in reiji dlc, which reiji SAW happen. But?? It didn't just look like seo regenerated, it looked like there had never been an explosion AT ALL. bc seo RETCONNED It. He picked a timeline where That Explosion Never Happened and slapped that bit onto our MAIN timeline.

Haruki inherited the Harada Factor, and used it at the end of Arrival Point S to retcon Reiji's death and save him, granting us Arrival Point S+. As an extension of this, All the other endings/loading saves are Haruki using the Harada Factor to fix/change the timeline. Seodore, as previously mentioned, is the purple text and is aware of our attempts to get the perfect ending. Haruki in S+ is aware of S, but not by a lot. I think it's like an impression... or like a dream? He knows SOMETHING happened as demonstrated by the 'no it's not our first time meeting' line, but I think it's more faded and in his subconscious more than anything.

I think Mutei is also immortal, and his assigned role is the Hermit. The story intentionally mentions that it's never confirmed that he's DEAD, just that it's been long enough that we can assume he is. Othmayer or however the heck we spell it... is seodores dead boyfriend. I dont think he died in the car crash, I think he died later somehow and I think he was involved in the mutei-seodore group. also i think that's the 'date' that seodore goes on once a year. Its not a date hes mourning his dead bf :(

In addition to that, I think the bit at the beginning of the DLC where we get the 'lets die together' line is Sanemitsu knowing that he's the only one who can kill seodore (by rewriting his immortality) but in doing so he kills himself. the self he is now. the self that Exists due to these circumstances and the Life hes lived up until now.

OVERALL. The whole narrative about writers, stories, and the COMEDY aspect of it all ties in here. its META. the very game mechanics that we take for granted are a part of the story.

The fact that seodore says that he was 'assigned' a role implies that there are multiple people involved, with other roles assigned. I think these are all the Factors (which are separate from the Fragments).

ALSO heres my prediction for CoM. SO in the dlc, sanemitsu mentioned that there are mirages in japan, and if people see too many of them they disappear. I think this is caused by either a factor or another fragment, and the plot will be solving this mystery. These mirages could be similar to the red/blue-green/yellow ghosts in coe!!
