hes horrified. he always knew that it was hard to return from that warped and bloodthirsty mindset once he had put on the berserker armour, but for it to be the reason you were injured, that showed him a whole new set of worries and complications that came with the power of the armour.

it depends on how large the injury is. either way, it wouldnt stop him from the heavy feeling of guilt building up inside him, even if you do say it wasnt his fault, because he believed it was. if he hadnt desperately resorted to using the armour, you wouldnt be in this situation.

he wouldnt speak to you for a long time. he couldnt bare to look at you and see the injuries that he, himself, had inflicted on you. it just pained him knowing that he did that to you, yet you still acted like it wasnt as big of a deal as he thought it was.

he avoided you, feeling too awkward and tense to say anything. he doesnt need to say anything for everyone to know how guilty and sorry he is, it was painfully written all over his face. especially when he thought back to the fight that he hurt you in.

if he already doubted why you were on his side, it just increased by ten times the amount it was originally. just how stupid were you? he hurt you, and you still smiled at him whenever you saw him. you still spoke to him like he wasnt the one that gave you the injuries you adorned in the first place. he hurt you, but you chose to act like he didnt.

but a large part of him was grateful that you hadnt took off running. it would've made him feel even worse to have you think he was some untameable monster with no self restraint, yet you were rational and knew that he wasnt in his right mind whenever in berserker mode.

it said enough to have schierke barely pull him out of his need for blood before his body was destroyed, so you shouldve known something like this was bound to happen. yes, you were injured, but you knew that he wouldn't have ever hurt you on purpose.

it made you feel bad seeing him so guilty when he had no control over his actions, so slowly as you got better, his intensity began to calm down.

he didnt flinch as much whenever he looked at your wounds, nor did he avoid eye contact as much. it made you happy to see that he finally made peace with you not being afraid of him or angry at what had happened, even more that he may have began to forgive himself.

what scares him most is chasing away those he holds close to him, and you wanted to make sure he knew you would never run away.
