More than ten years after closing the Hellmouth, Buffy’s settled into a single life. She and Spike are just friends, nothing more than friends, and of course that’s just fine by her, even when he stops returning her phone calls. But then a visit from Clem sets her world on end, because Spike’s not just out of cell phone service range—he’s in a whole alternate universe! One where old friends are alive, and Cordelia’s the slayer, and Drusilla is trying to rule the world.
And now Spike’s in trouble. Captured, tortured, possibly dead. He might not love her anymore, but Buffy’s not about to let him just die in some wackadoo Bizarro World. Even knowing he went there to get away from her, even with her true feelings a secret she can’t bear to expose again.
Even if he’s already in love with someone else.
But Buffy’s not the only one who’s hiding something…and some secrets are meant to be slain.

Post-series AU set in the universe of and following the Slayers Audio Play.
Note: While I do refer to the events of the audio play, I believe you do not need to have listened to Slayers to understand what is going on and enjoy this story.
I saw color out the window while getting my morning coffee. Upon further investigation I discovered a sunrise was taking place. Who knew those things were still happening.
For the endless skies reflecting starry-eyed ravens, foraged dreamers that adore esoteric purpose, voyeurs dozing off into darkened illustrations… We paid the fare with ritualistic recollections, bewitching remarks, and fatigued stares outlining lavender lingering bodies bare. Shattering blood-soaked regulations, bonded through deep relations, bent to the accordance amongst the prim and proper. But soothing proclamations’ slowly drip like honey from lips, lover. To drive one mad, seemingly could last forever, as to spend eternity counting the threads amidst your sheets, while vinyl picks up static played on repeat. Yet, evolving has now become a hazy reflection displaying a wintery dazed affection, ripped from the chest and substituted with rose sage scars, brewed into a potion, and placed inside a jar. Left behind hints of hypnotic discretions, ivy crest slits, and desirable mentions, dredging up the past, branding the present, with bewildered ardors’ wholehearted intentions. A living rendition that shafts vexing analogies; long gone passion’s composed rhapsody.

is #radicalfeminism literally just a transphobia tag?
I'm not even seeing posts about any sort of feminism there at all. What in the fuck?

Public transit in NYC *is* good, especially compared to the rest of the country. NYC's problem is that all the public transportation is focused on getting in and out of Manhattan, which is problematic if you don't work and/or live in Manhattan. Even with that problem, NYC is a hundred times more walkable than a lot of major American cities. First thing that comes to mind is Texan cities like Houston. You *cannot* walk in Houston. Anywhere. Basically any major city not in the northeast would be a real pain in the butt not to have a car in. Most walkable city I've been to (and according to my google search the most walkable city in the U.S) is Philadelphia.
I visited new york and I was like, "huh you sure give more priority to cars here than even London does" but because I'm used to almost completely pedestrianised city centres I thought that's what everyone was talking about when they said it was 'unwalkable'
Ive just had a little zoom around Google maps and honestly Houston looks like one giant industrial estate, there are little paths but you have to walk a mile of carpark to get from one place to the next
