I now have 20 of 42 blocks made for this Memorial quilt. I am using the Quilt-as-you-Go method. Each block is made up of one center square and 12-13 corner stripes sewn on an 11"x11" piece of fleece batting. The center square has a fancy quilt stitch around it. These blocks will be approx. 10"x10" when put together and the total quilt will be approx. 60"x70" when done.

Which meant that for the heroes, there was now a Clock ticking down ever so quietly. They had to take care of what was a government branch, had to deal with consequences of going over the law, or their World would End in dragon fire.

I made a thing! A quilt! It's not even half bad!

A while ago I suggested to make a quilt block out of the stomachion, an ancient puzzle. The idea being that all the same pieces can be arranged in hundreds of different ways. Endless possibilities!

Is it too soon to talk about the Tommy and Taylor Kelly parallel(s) we got in this episode??

Because @b-dwolf and I were just talking about the fact that the Buck Tommy kiss is literally paralleling the Buck taylor bathroom hook up in season 2 - down to the song choice and the way Madney are sitting - just without the bathroom! we even got a secondary parallel with Taylor dumping Buck to go to work with Tommy dropping out of the party to go to work.

can i be fr for a minute?? sending abuse to people online for holding different views than you is not activism and in fact actively hurts your cause. most people are not extreme in their viewpoints, you can give them a new perspective if you're willing to spend some time explaining shit. if someone is saying something you disagree with and you rush in there to condescend to them and call them disgusting and subhuman and dont even TRY to explain calmly why their views are harmful, they're going to shut you out instantly and double down on their views.

most people are simply genuinely ignorant to the issues they're talking about - they just pick their views up from the news and the world around them and express opinions because that's what every person does. if you run in there and tell them they're scum for it, what then? if someone does that to you, are you going to think "maybe i should do some research" or are you going to think "this person is an asshole, im blocking them." a lot of you think you're activists and then refuse to do any kind of actual WORK to support your cause.
