‘Let me go,’ she whispered to him, gritting her teeth. Her heart started to break at what she was experiencing right now and by whom.

With rapid breaths, he shook his head and tightened his hold on her. In his mind, he was already planning ways to keep her close to him and only him; all these years, he had ached for the one thing, which was her. And no way in hell would he let her go now, after all these times.

‘You can’t seriously do this to me.’ A tear fell on her face as she tried to remove herself from the person she loved. Right now, all she could see was the obsessive, possessive person, not the man she fell in love with.

With his big hands, he took her chin and forced her to see his eyes, which spoke all the words his mouth couldn’t do, but it still didn’t change her mind.

She is not supposed to stay here and doesn’t want to now. Whatever feelings they had for each other don’t matter now.

‘You are married, Abrar. Not once but thrice, and you can’t possibly have me either! I am not some side-chick you could have as a trophy to showcase, and I will never be yours.’ She spat the very well-known facts with disgust on her face.

‘Not yours. Not yours, ' Abrar kept, hearing those words that left Aparna's mouth. As his eyes turned red with anger, his hands tightened around her chin, causing her breathing to become rapid.

‘I am yours Abrar. We are one soul and will always be.’ Abrar remembered their promise and her words when they were both young. And it doesn’t matter how the present is; all he knows is that she is his as much as hers.

She is the flower that makes his morning bloom.

She is the sky that covers him as a blanket.

She is the hunger that keeps his animal alive.

She is Aparna to his Abrar.

As Abrar watched her, a wave of emotions washed over him. He felt a deep sense of peace and contentment that everything was as it should be. At that moment, he knew that as long as he had Aparna by his side, he could face anything life threw at him.

Aparna opened her hazel eyes and looked at him, the look tugging at his heartstrings. A wide smile spread across her face as she slowly raised her eyebrow at Abrar.

‘What is going on in your brain, my Abrar?’ She asked him in her honey-like voice. Abrar just smiled and gestured that he was gazing at the most beautiful angel.

Born mute, Abrar had always felt self-conscious about his condition. But Aparna had made sure he never felt ashamed of it. She smiled playfully and pushed him away, but Abrar quickly caught her wrist, bringing it to his lips. He kissed her wrist gently, his touch feather-light, and slowly traced a path up her arm to her neck. He kissed her behind the ear, savouring the moment and their love.

Aparna’s breath hitched at his touch, and she sighed softly. She turned to face him, her eyes filled with love and desire. Abrar looked into her eyes, and at that moment, he knew he was home. He leaned in slowly, capturing her lips in a tender kiss.

The kiss deepened, and passion flared between them. Abrar’s hands roamed her body, memorizing every curve and every contour. Aparna moaned softly, her hands tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer. They lost themselves in each other, the world fading away around them.

Aparna descended from the plane, stepping onto the bustling tarmac of the airport. She took a deep breath of the familiar air, her gaze sweeping over the passing scenery as she rode in a car towards her destination. The cityscape looked different yet oddly familiar, reminding her of the years she had spent here, growing up and away from everything she once loved and cared for.

At a young age, Aparna was faced with a difficult decision. It was a choice that had changed the course of her life, leading her down a path she never imagined she would take. Despite the hardships and sacrifices, she didn’t regret her decision. It had been the right choice for her at the time, but it had come at a cost—the loss of a love she had cherished deeply.

As the car moved through the streets, Aparna’s thoughts drifted back to those days. She remembered the turmoil, uncertainty, and fear of the unknown that had plagued her mind. But she also remembered the strength and courage she had found within herself, the resilience that had carried her through the most challenging times.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice from the front. “Seems you are lost in your own world, Aparna,” Abid’s voice brought her back to the present. It was no surprise to her when she was invited to the wedding, not just any wedding, but Abrar’s third wedding. She shook her head, a wry smile playing on her lips, wondering how in the world he managed to marry three times and still keep his other wives.

Years had passed since she had any contact with Abrar and his family. It was a surprise when she met Abid, Abrar’s brother, who had insisted she visit and stay with them for some time. She had been close with him, but not as close as Abrar. And so, here she was, returning to a place that held both bittersweet memories and the possibility of new beginnings.

“I’m just relaxing, Abid,” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the car’s hum. She leaned back against the seat, closing her eyes and letting her mind wander back to the past.

Her thoughts were clouded by the image of her and Abrar, tangled in each other’s arms, making love inside the garage. It had been the night before her departure, the night she had promised to return but had not done so until now. The memory was vivid, every touch and caress etched into her mind as if it had just happened yesterday.

‘Abrar’ Aparna whimpered as she felt herself going to peak again for like third time, her chest heaved and her core twisted with the pleasure she never experienced before.
