Yandere!Joker x Reader with Chronic Pain Headcanons

💚 After being captured by The Joker, you were terrified. Anyone in your position would be, even if you were, apparently, the object of the clown's affection. You were under the watchful eyes of both The Joker's lackeys and the Clown Prince of Crime himself, and the thought of angering them was horrific. So you tried to keep your mouth shut. Most of the time, the pain was somewhat bearable, but being restrained in such a manner made it agonizing.

💜 You can't hold it together. Who could? Your muscles screamed in pain. Your head pounded and throbbed. Your whole body was alight in agony. Your body heaved as you began to quietly sob. What else could you do but cry? Maybe you'd at least be able to cry yourself to sleep to escape the pain judt for a moment - but a sudden explosion of noise makes you wince and flinch, migraine pounding in your skull. The Clown quickly took notice of your tears and read his goons the riot act. Who did it? Who hurt his darling? Was it him? What about him? Nobody answered, though. He muttered something about cowardice before kneeling in front of you, cupping your face in his gloved hands, asking in a soft voice what was wrong. Disoriented and tired, you told him.

💚 You assumed this aspect of you would make him turn on you. Maybe, hopefully, see you as not worth keeping and send you off if you're really lucky. But if anything, this made The Joker more protective of you. None of his men were allowed to touch you. He didn't trust them not to make anything worse. Only he could help you unless it was an emergency. He kept you locked up in his room almost at all times. The TV was on at all times, you were left with some things to read and games that would strain you, all while laying on the comfiest bed he was able to pilfer in the dead of night. Oh! And the very soft handcuff he attached to the bedpost to keep you from running off, of course. Only the best for you, sweetheart.

💜 He'd make sure to get anything he thinks may help. Ointments, medicines, heating pads and ice packs… Hell, he might just kidnap doctors or physical therapists to begin a care plan if he had even the slightest inkling it may help. He wanted to show you just how deeply he cared for you. There is nothing he wouldn't do for you. No lengths he would not go. All he could hope for is that you'll see how much he truly adores you. That you feeling okay and being without pain was all he could ever hope for, ever dream of.

💚 One night, while you lay together with something playing on the TV, both of you silhouetted by the light of the television, does he tell you. After his impromptu bath in the ACE Chemicals factory, he was left with lifelong burning sensations. They came and went. Sometimes he could hardly see or breathe. Other times, he could hardly feel anything at all, like he'd gone entirely numb. Nobody else really knew, but he wanted you to. To know he understood. To know you weren't alone.

💜 He loves making you laugh! Maybe now even more so than he already did. Laughter is the best medicine, after all! And he's so glad he could take your mind off your pain, even if just for a moment.

BTAS headcanons: Stroking their hair (Two Face, Scarecrow, and Penguin)

Very, very self indulgent as I have literally dreamt about this.

Two Face

It's no secret that he's touch starved, and he absolutely melts at even the slightest touch from you.

Due to his scars he believes he's disgusting, so physical affection from you reassures him that he's not and you love him the way he is.

Despite the whole acid thing his hair is actually really soft.

He enjoys this even more than you do. It's the perfect thing to comfort him whenever he needs it, which is pretty often imo.

Scarecrow

This dude has INCREDIBLY fluffy hair. Like you could literally just pet it for hours and never get tired of it.

He denies this fact at first but eventually makes an effort to not wear his mask around you so you can always stroke his hair if you'd like.

He's awkward about this but he does enjoy it, it means a lot to him to have a partner like you who adores him unconditionally.

Penguin

Oswald has always been very insecure about his appearance and believed himself to be unattractive since he was young, so when you came along, he had no idea what to do.

His hair is fairly thin but quite silky and soft, it feels like heaven to just run your fingers through it.

He loves when you do this and is always willing to let you stroke his hair as long as you'd like.

Absolutely loves when you cuddle him while doing it. He might even fall asleep in your arms.

He tells you about a book he read. His smile widening as you nod, showing you are listening.

For most of his life affection has barely crossed his life.

He can't wait to break out from this horrible place and find you.

Could I have hcs for BTAS!Riddler falling in love with a reader who is a huge fan of his game, Riddle of the Minotaur? The Reader is famous for being the greatest player in the world at it, no one has even come close to their level, ever. They even said that they would love to meet the creator someday, they think whoever made all the puzzles and riddles in that game must have been some kind of godly genius!!

This took me a bit to write, but I love this idea!

●After Mockridge took the rights of the game from Edward, he didn't check the top scores of the game as often. Too busy with revenge, however- every few months he'd check the scoreboard. He always saw the same name at the top, second place still far behind.

●He was curious as to who the person could be, but he was a busy man. With fighting the bat, going after mockridge, and scheming he simply didn't have enough motivation to waste his time. At first.

●That was until you started getting in the papers, getting interviews, and gaining traction. That's when his intrest was fully piqued. There was finally a name, a face, and a person to the username that always stood high on the leader boards.

●He tunes into the interview. He's almost immediately enamored by your words and flattery. He hears you mention how you'd just love to meet the creator of Riddle of the Minotaur.. well he can arrange the can't he?

●The next morning you'll be greeted by a message when you open Riddle of the Minotaur, a pop up displaying a series of riddles. Decode them and you get a personal invite to meet the creator of the game- Edward Nygma himself!

●When you inevitably show up, he welcomes you- he'll most likely meet you in the Riddle of the Minotaur Maze he originally made for mockridge. All with the dangerous parts deactivated, he'd hate for his guest to accidentally set off one of the traps.

●He'll question you about how you got into the game, what drew you to it? Anything you want to tell him? Once he let's you ramble for a bit, he'll question you with some riddles. In return he expects you to ask him questions, good ones, and to listen as he did for you.

●He'll ramble on about the creation of the game, the various puzzles, scrapped content, the betrayal of mockridge, and run ins with the bat and his bird brained sidekick- oh, what's this, you want to ask him a riddle? Well go ahead.

●He solves it within a matter of seconds as expected with a smug smile. As the night drones on, the conversation slowly drifts from the game and your skills to more personal things. Such as jobs, hobbies, pets, likes, and dislikes. Time flies when you're having fun sadly, soon enough you two will haft to depart for the night.

●The next morning you'll find an update for Riddle of the Minotaur. You look online, how strange, no one else got the update. Only you. The update includes harder riddles, less lives, less time. Some of the riddles also seem oddly flirty.. how interesting. Lucky you! It appears this may just be the start of something more.

When you enter your lonely apartment, all that welcomes you in is silence.

That's nothing surprising though.

Jon did tell you he'd be out tonight, setting his newest Scarecrow plans to motion.

Just like it was the night before.

And the night before.

And the night before...

One would think that when he's changed his profession from university professor to a criminal, he'd have more free time to spend with you.

After all, Jon was his own boss now.

However, that was not really the case...

Jonathan, no matter if a professor or a criminal, still spent a lot of his time dedicated to his work.

There was nothing wrong with that, of course, you didn't mind.

But sometimes, you really wished he'd spend more time home...

For example after today at work you'd really appreciate it.

But there was nothing you could really do.

And so, you dragged yourself to your bedroom, going to get changed, then get in bed.

You didn't have the energy to do anything else.

So, preparing and eating dinner was something you'd skip for once.

And a shower could wait for tomorrow morning too.

You just wanted to sleep and forget about everything that went wrong today.

Rude customers yelling at you.

Almost giving back too much change and causing a shortage at the cashier's till.

Spilling a customer's drink at them.

Slowing down the line at the bus entrance because your pay card refused to cooperate.

You just wanted to forget it all and let go of how devastated today made you feel.

And so, changing to your sleep attire, you get in bed and hug Jon's pillow, hoping that hugging something that'd remind you of Jonathan would ease you and help you sleep.

However, a pillow, whether Jonathan's or not, is not enough of an replacement of the actual man whose closeness and embrace you craved.

And so, instead of being lulled to sleep, you only end up feeling worse and soon enough you burst into tears.

You cry and cry with the little energy you have left, squeezing the life out of the pillow.

And as you cry, you completely lose track of time.

And maybe an hour passed, or maybe it was just a few minutes, but eventually you're silenced when a gentle hand rests on your back.

"Love," Jon said softly, and the moment you hear his voice, you turn around on the bed to face him.

"Jonny," you say quietly through sniffles, relief washing over you upon seeing your lover.

You almost don't want to believe he's finally back.

"Oh my love, what may be the reason for such tears?" Jonathan asks in a gentle voice, cupping your face in his hands as the eyes of his mask lock with yours.

"Have I left you alone for too long, my dear? Is loneliness reason for your sorrow?" Jon continued to ask as you sniffled.

"No..." you shake your head, looking at Jon as your hands rest on his.

"I- I just had a really rough day..." you confess, tears continuing to pour down your face.

"And I... I just..." you try to explain yourself, but that action proves to be way too hard and exhausting.

And so you just give a shaky sigh, trying to compose yourself.

But Jonathan seems to understand what you're trying to say perfectly, and he sighs.

"Is this a common occurrence?" he asks after a moment.

And you debate whether or not to tell the truth.

You'd be lying if you said this is the first time you had to face such day on your own.

But you also don't want to worry Jon or male him feel guilty...

However, when Jon takes off his mask to look at you with a gentle and loving expression, you choose to be honest.

"Yes... this happens often..." you confess, "but I never tell you because I don't want to interfere with your job...".

"Oh, my dearest..." Jon murmurs lowly, his expression growing sorrowful.

"I am so sorry that I am not with you as much as you need... I was so focused on my job that I seem to have been neglecting you..." Jon says lowly as he caresses your face.

"I failed to see how much you need me..." he sighed.

"But that will change, alright?" Jon then added, offering a reassuring and promising smile.

You try to decline though, not wanting for Jon to put his work aside just for you: "No, no, Jon, it's okay, you don't have to-".

But Jonathan shakes his head: "No. Nonsense, my love!".

"I should be a better man and take care of you when you need it," he says.

"I've been putting work above you for too long, but I promise that will change!" He told you, and brought your face close to his, resting his forehead against yours.

"You shall be my number one priority from now on!" Jonathan promised, smiling gently.

"Say, how about we make this weekend ours? Just the two of us, no work, no nothing!" Jon suggested, and you'd be lying if you said you didn't like the sound of that.

"This weekend - and every other time on your day off - will be dedicated to you, we'll do anything you want!" he said with enthusiasm, sounding like he really meant his words.

And you couldn't help but smile a little and nod.

"I like the sound of that..." you say softly, and Jon smiles.

"Good... and that's a promise my dear, every day you're off, I'll put work aside and spend the day with you," Jonathan promised, and then he kissed your forehead softly.

"And if I dare to ever break the promise, you're free to rat me out to Batman," Jon told you, making you chuckle a little.

"Okay," you said through soft chuckles, already feeling a little better.

And Jonathan smiles at you gently, enjoying the sound of your, although tired, chuckles.

"Good... now, how about I go take a shower and then slip in bed with you?" Jonathan suggested, to which you eagerly nodded.

"Please..." you say softly, and Jonathan finds himself smiling again.

"Alright, see you in a few," Jon tells you with a smile, once again going to kiss your forehead and caress your face before he got up and went ahead to take a shower.

"See you in a few..." you muttered right back, finding a smile growing on your face as you realized that tonight you were not going to fall asleep by yourself.

You feel so selfish.

And you feel so bad for what you did, instantly regretting it.

What was done was done.

And while you did feel really like a shit person, some part of you subconsciously knew that putting yourself first wasn't a bad thing.

And so, you just sat on your couch, staring at your lock screen that was a picture of you and Harley, waiting.

"Harley, I'm- I'm so sorry for calling you up when you're having a girl's night out-" you sobbed into the phone just a couple of minutes ago.

"But I just had such shit day- and I- I just need you," you'd plead into the phone.

And while you felt really bad for interfering with Harley's plans, you really were a mess and needed her to be with you...

And you tried to explain yourself more over the phone, but before you could utter anymore words, Harley cut you off with a "Hold on, sugar, ma's I'm coming right back home now!" and the call was ended.

And so, now you were stuck sobbing softly and waiting for Harley to come home to you.

You waited and sobbed for some time, kinda losing track of time.

But after a few moments or so, the front door opened and Harley stepped inside.

"Harley," You breathed and immediately got up from your seat, running over to hug her.

"Oh, sugar!" Harley called right back, immediately taking ahold of you and hugging you tight.

"I'm- I'm so sorry for ruining your girl night out," you sobbed in Harley's hold, apologizing and apologizing.

"No, no, sugar, it's alright! It's alright!" Harley quickly shushed you, cupping your face and wiping away your tears.

"You didn't ruin anything! You know that I always want you to come to me when you have a problem!" Harley reassured you as she continued to wipe away your tears.

"I- I know," you nodded, sniffling. "But- but it's not that serious- I- I mean- I'm just having a rough day,".

"Oh, sweetcheeks, it's very serious when it's got you crying me a river over here!" Harley disagreed, shaking her head with a frown.

"But what happened? Did anyone hurt you? Should I kill anyone? Who should I kill?" Harley questioned, immediately getting protective.

"No-one... Just lots of things at once... rude customers, breaking several glasses, missing my bus stop,... just so many things..." you explained as you clung to Harley and she sighed.

"Oh my sweet baby, seems like today was really rough on you!" Harley sympathized with you as she cradled you in her arms.

"But that's why I'm here and I'll try to make it all better, yeah?" Harley smiled at you, tilting your face to have you meet her eyes.

And sniffling, you nodded.

"How about we go rest a little now and tomorrow we can spend the day together, hm?" Harley suggested.

"We can..." she thought for a moment.

"We can have ice cream for breakfast, stay in sleepwear all day, and I can make you your favourite for lunch,..." She started suggesting ideas to which you smiled softly.

"I'd- I'd like that..." you murmur softly, making Harley smile.

"Awesome! So come now, let's get you out of your work clothes and jump to bed, m'kay?" Harley smiled bright before she peppered your face with kisses.

"Okay..." you said with a small chuckle as Harley did so.

"Good," Harley nodded, satisfied.

"But before that, one more thing," she paused, "remember, that no matter what happens you can always come to me no matter where I am or what I'm doing, okay? You'll never bother me, you're never going to be a burden, okay?".

And you nodded.

"Okay... I'll keep that in mind..." you muttered, nodding your head.

And Harley smiled.

"Good, let's go to bed now, bunny-boo," Harley told you gently and taking ahold of your hand, she led you to your shared bedroom.

Arkham and btas Harley falls in love with s/o after joker

Finally some Harley stuff on this blog!

Arkham harley

Poor kid is still recovering from what happened holloween and what happened back at Arkham City

The pain of losing joker was bad enough but then 5 chances to get him back and ivy’s death only made her sadness worse.

So when you appear in her life and she starts laughing at your jokes she genuinely has to take a second to think

Wait,only mr j ever got her to laugh that much…….

Let’s just say her hearts a fluttering mess now.

She’s constantly leaving you stuff animals with red balloons with diamonds tied to their writs.

Oh and maybe some candy she stole an hour ago!

Now this is Harley so disagreements are bound to happen but when you raise your voice to be once she’s genuinely prepared for a hit

Eyes smooshed closed and shaking in place

But nothing ever comes.

It’s kinda a whiplash after all the years she took the abuse.

Be gentle when you hug her,she’s gonna need a lot reassurance now.

“Ya know your a lot different than mr j,you know that puddin?”

Ivy was her first big step getting away from joker like baking a cake

What Pam doesn’t expect is you coming into the picture and giving the cake frosting. The two of you trying to pull her away from the smiling psychopath

In the middle of a crime she accidentally grabs,one of the trick guns with the “bang!” Flag

When you pull the trigger and realize what happened she shrinks back expecting to get screamed at.

“Harley?! Hey it’s okay just pass me another!”

“O-oh! Right!”

She already starts to fall for ya by this point but then the event at the asylum happens.

You’re a sobbing mess when you heard from the dark knight she fell. But then he informs you no body.

A whole week later she comes back,in such an awful state she barley has energy to stand at the front door.

You know you can’t bring her to the hospital,so instead you nurse her back to health.

You end up begging her not to go back to crime. Jokers dead,Pam ran off awhile ago not leaving much for you to go off of, there’s nothing for the both of you there now. Joker went so far as to rope her in on hurting a kid this time. They’ve passed a line.

She starts to feel different……more loved. Like you’re really the best thing in this life now. Less like she’s constantly on a tightrope and now on solid ground.

Batman while on his usual patrols one day stumbles upon the two of your weekly date at the little malt shop down the road.

He loves gift giving, jewelry and flowers. He’ll kidnap you and supply you with flowers upon flowers for you to decorate your room with.

He loves to give you a luxurious home, he has a beautiful (very expensive) home that he bought specifically for you (very legally(he promises))

He loves to take you out, show you out on the town. He’ll show you off, everyone will stare in awe.. or he’ll make them. Yes, that indeed is a threat

He’ll buy you beautiful suits and handsome dresses, he’ll do your hair and makeup if you want it. He’ll pick out a perfume or cologne for you.

If you want something more simpler he can put you in a low-cut top and pretty little shorts.

He picks out everything for you! And you will love it! Cause he picked it out, and he has wonderful taste!

He loves to cook you you, maybe it’s because it’s the only thing you can eat cause your kinda kidnapped. But he’s pretty good actually.

He keeps you in a very cozy room, a bookshelf or two, warm blankets, nice fluffy clothes, soft pillows.

He treats you like a baby, he reads to you, he spoon feeds you, he cuddles you, he puts you to bed, he changes your clothes, he bathed you. Everything

If you don’t like it? It’s not like you have a choice. Maybe he’ll try to do it a little less but, he’s still treating you like your 4

“Honey, I’m home!” I joked, locking the door behind me. 

Jittery nerves filled me as I slid my shoes off. Not the bad kind of nerves, the type that makes you anticipate what someone's reaction would be. I had just been hanging out with my friends, and as always, it took a bit of a turn. My friend Ash had asked us to accompany them to get their ear pierced. They had easily influenced me to join them, and now I was sporting a shiny new conch piercing.

“Welcome back, dear,” Eddie greeted as I entered the living room. “How was your day out?”

“It was fun!” I replied with a smile. “We went out to eat, and stopped at the library.”

“I’m glad you had a marvelous time,” He smiled, warmth filling his gaze. Then he paused, eyes raking over my face. I pretended like nothing was different, that jittery feeling growing. I bit my lip, trying to stop that mischievous smile that threatened to overtake my face. 

I understood why Eddie did what he did. There was a sort of thrill, to see if you can do something without anyone catching on. To try and outsmart the smartest. Although compared to a bank robbery, this wasn’t that big. 

“It seems your day was a bit more adventurous then you’re letting on,” A small smirk rose on his lips. A bright grin landed on my face, no longer able to hold in my excitement. Raising a hand, Eddie gently went to caress my ear, but I flinched immediately at the contact.

“Ouch,” I winced, raising a hand to protectively cover my ear. 

Eddie’s smirk fell, a pained look crossing his features, “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

“I know,” I tried to smile reassuringly. “I found out that the conch is one of the more painful piercings. I thought they meant the needle at first, but it’s actually because of how long it hurts afterwards. My entire ear is sore right now.”

“Should I prepare an ice pack?” Eddie fretted, hands held up like he was holding himself back from touching me. 

“Maybe tomorrow if it’s still sore,” I replied, leaning up to peck his cheek. “But thank you. How’s your day been?”

Eddie’s face turned a soft pink as a silly smile took over him. For the rest of the night, Eddie talked about his day as you two took purchase on the couch. Yandere BTAS Scarecrow with a Bodyguard S/O

Wow, I might just do the whole dork squad with a bodyguard S/O, but who knows, just wanted to write something else before getting back to requests. I also just wanted to thank you all for 30 followers! It's amazing, and I really appreciate you all (:

× Despite how he treats his henchmen, you're his bodyguard and so, you have more of his respect, and commands that respect to not only be given to you by other henchmen, but heroes as well. Mutual respect is the best he can hope for at the moment, though longs for the day you'll start to feel more for him.

× Tries not to push his obsession on you, and tries to keep his true feelings away to keep the relationship purely professional. Despite his best efforts however, he finds himself unwilling to let you fight for him, and often makes you do menial tasks and chores to keep you out of Batman's way. If none are available, he tries to pull you away from the scene before it's too late and you get hurt.

× You tempt him more than anything, but you also motivate him. You make him remind himself why he has to win, what he has to have. And despite him being your boss, he seeks above all else to show off his strengths to you. You will be with him for every success and failure, and so he feels the need to show that no matter what, he is still a threat not to be messed with. This is both a reminder to you, and a warning.

"BOW DOWN TO THE MASTER OF FEAR, COWER BEFORE ME AND BEG FOR MERCY!"

× Jonathan will trust you with his identity, his knowledge, his regrets... his fears. But all he asks in return is the same from you. He wants to know everything about you, just as you will of him. Eventually, he will formally ask you to be his partner in crime, out of costume before you leave for the night. Now that the two of you know each other on more than a professional relationship, he believes that this is the most logical source of action.

× And while you may say no, to him this is just your humbleness speaking, and that you actually would love to, it's just that you think you are undeserving of this. Firmly telling him that you in fact have no desire to work with him anymore causes him to, very insistently, remind you of how much he now knows about you. With a small smile, he can remind you of your address, full name, age, living family members and where they're located. If you truly want to play with the master of fears emotions, then two can play that game.

× But more likely than not, you'll accept, because who would pass up on an opportunity like this? Scarecrow's offering you something you couldn't have ever dreamed of working with other villains, and you won't ever find another opportunity like this ever again. And while all of this is true, with this he'll slowly cut away every body else. Friends, family, you will no longer need them with your villain lifestyle, he's really doing you a favor. Besides, all you'll ever need is him and the legacy the two of you will create for yourselves.

"You understand, don't you? Love and fear can make people do crazy things, and you know they were getting too close to the truth, yes?"

D - Depraved: Does your yandere have a shrine? (If so, what's on it?)

I don't think Ed is really the type to have a dedicated shrine, though I do think he'd have keepsakes of yours around his work area or on his person. Pictures of you, writings or doodles you may have made that he was able to snatch up (maybe even saved out of the trash), pieces of clothing that he was able to cut or rip off… You know, normal stuff! Little things to sate him while he couldn't be with you.

I can also see him considering the crimes he committed in your names as a sort of ‘shrine to your love’.

E - Erratic: How unpredictable are they? How quick are mood changes?

Ed prefers sticking to plans when it comes to his crimes, but he can be prone to unpredictability when it comes to social interactions, typically. He can be prone to paranoia and reading into things. Inconsequential words or even a change in tone or expression could be suddenly seen as slights or insults against The Riddler, which can lead to explosions of anger and accusations of betrayal towards civilians, the authorities, Batman, or in the latter case, his hired help. 

But with you, Riddler feels at ease. Any paranoia is soothed by your presence. With you, he feels so at ease. So right. His equal. His match. His soulmate! Any desperate need for validation is quelled by you. Even if you argue and fight with him, he'd know it's not anything you have against him - well, not really. It's not your fault you've been lied to! You'll understand that you and he were meant to be after he helps you unlearn all the horrible things the idiots of this city have force-fed you.

After all, if you weren't perfect for one another, why did he feel so safe and secure with you?

I - Intimacy: How intimate are they with their darling?

Ed is so touch-starved it's not even funny. He never wanted to be separated from you! Be prepared to be basically smothered in affection. Hugging, cuddling, nuzzling, smothering you in kisses - everything he's missed out on, he wants to finally make up for. All his time spent waiting for the perfect partner is finally worth it now that you're here! And as stated above, he won't get angry if you don't reciprocate. You're just confused, it's okay. 

Any attempts at fighting him or cursing him out will just lead to him cooing to you condescendingly as he ties you up in restraints so you can calm down… Though, he may not be able to hold back from being affectionate before you're done with your time-out. He just adored you so much! You know, exposure therapy is a very effective treatment for aversions, and this would be the perfect opportunity to show how wrong all those fools in this cesspool of a city were.

What are your headcanons for a romantic relationship with BTAS Scarecrow? I just came across your blog today and I’m curious

I can make a list for sure! It looks like tumblr hates me because just searching for anything on my blog is pretty bad.... These are just the ones that are romantic sfw content based on BTAS! Scarecrow as the main influence. For the most part, I actually ended up writing most of the characters more general/ based on all the versions I've seen of them in some way.

When they take him back again,he'll be happy to see you.

He would tell you how easyly he will escape again. And you start to think that theres no way changing his mind

He would get really happy to see you. He would literally yell to get ur attention "Y/N, Hi" then he waves until the guards tell him to shut it.

●Safe to say the first few he's surprised that someone's touching him without the intent of beating the life out of him. Not that he doesn't appreciate it. It's just at first he isn't sure how to respond to the onslaught of affection. It's unfamiliar to him.

●After the first few times he'll start to return hugs, pecks, and dish out more words of affection. He'll try to make his displays of affection a bit more noticeable to better macth yours.

●However he'll ask that out in public or around others you could tone it down a bit. Not because he doesn't like it. No, no, it's just he needs to look scary and intimidating and that's a bit difficult to do when you're showering him in affection.

●His goons definitely tease him for it. Until he offers them a free demonstration of his fear toxin. That makes them go radio silent. Same goes to anyone who pokes fun at you.

Jonathan doesn’t find himself to be a very jealous man. He’s mastered most of his emotions, and is quite in tune with them more often than not. After all, when’s the last time anyones seen that professor smile?

Of course, he’s quite the soft romantic for his partner. He has no qualms breaking his comfort zone for your own comfort, even if he very openly begrudgingly does so. He’s supposed to be self centered, and finds that you make this increasingly difficult.

I could imagine that, maybe while as ‘Scarecrow’ (if we’re going with the idea that Jonathan Crane and Scarecrow are the same man but different mindsets), Jonathan is significantly less handsy with his partner and more reserved. Being threatening simply doesn’t correlate to being doting, though it doesn’t mean we won’t take care of you. After all, it’s hard to stay fully in character when you’re with him. Surely, many would assume you’re not spoken for as a result.

If he’s jealous, he’ll keep you under scrutiny. It’s not that he’d believe you’d be unfaithful, however.

He wouldn’t want you to leave his side, and as Jonathan, he’s more emotionally vulnerable and communicative with this. It just depends on the situation since he’d like to imagine, despite his flaws that he’s very comfortable and secure in his relationship.

If someone’s bothering you, he can take care of it, though he doesn’t doubt your ability to do it yourself. He might either get said person isolated or just take you away from the situation alltogether. He’d rather not scrap with another right now. (He’s very easily intimadated).

Maybe he’s a bit more touchy afterwards. A hand on your shoulder as he guides you or his hands fixing your hair. He wants to be closer, and finds that it works doing it subtly without indicating his insecurities. He doesn’t need verbal reassurance. You recriprocating affection is enough for him.
