Su Yu's little smile is EVERYTHING. I feel like we're missing a scene before this though. It just seems a bit out of place that Wu Bi would run up to kiss Su Yu at school and for Su Yu to not be surprised or embarrassed. I'm counting on that uncut release later. Actually I felt like the editing for these two eps was a bit choppy. I'm going to guess it's because they cut a bunch of stuff because it was too gay.

I love all the subtle ways they show us they're boyfriends. Su Yu casually using Wu Bi as a leg rest, Wu Bi teasing Su Yu about him not knowing he's Wu Bi's most important person, Su Yu taking care of Wu Bi, and Wu Bi making not so subtle hints about their relationship in front of everyone. Why always in front of Doudou? Always! 😅

The normally aloof Su Yu kissed Wu Bi! Again it's Su Yu's little smile after the kiss that makes it so sweet. The spoilers were actually true! I didn't think this would happen because in the behind the scenes Jiongmin had said there was no scene where he kisses Xu Bin, but here we are! Xu Bin's dream has finally come true. 🤭

I was not expecting such an explicit confession! They tried to hide the gay a little by having Su Yu add the ocean part, but Wu Bi's qq screen name is 我想我是海 (I wish I am the sea) and so when Su Yu shouts 我爱你, 大海 (I love you sea), he is not so subtly telling Wu Bi that he loves him. Awwwww. ​​​🥹

But also, I have to drag production a bit on the terrible green screen CGI here. It looks so fake! Did they run out of money? How hard is it to film a sunset at a beach?

He just gets worse as time goes on. You start showing and he can't keep his hands off your tummy, always trying to feel the baby kick or move around. Always bragging about how "we're pregnant :)" and telling people how far along you are, as if he did anything more than pump his load into you 🙄 Loves going baby shopping despite complaining that it's something that the women should worry about. He just likes looking at all the clothes and toys and little trinkets he'll get to use once he's finally a father. It makes his tummy all fuzzy and happy and he gets this sweet dopey grin on his face that is just so cute and sincere.

Once you start taking time off, he doubles down on trying to get you to stay home for good. It’s finally Saturday. You are finally able to rest. What makes it even better? Your lover, Pedro, is here with you. He just got back from New York for the Met Gala, which you couldn’t attend.

You woke up from the sun that managed to get through the shutter that was half closed thanks to the wind last night. You stretched your arm to look at your phone on the nightstand, only to see that it was 8am. “Hell no” you thought. It’s Saturday, you were not going to get up that early. Also, you really couldn’t as there were two strong arms wrapped around you. If you tried to get up he would wake up, and it would definitely make him grumpy, which is something to avoid.

You managed to turn around, facing a peacefully sleeping Pedro. His hair falling on his forehead, his mouth slightly open, it made your heart flutter. You put your head against his chest, slowly going back to sleep, his heartbeat being your lullaby.

You woke up later, feeling a hand caressing your arm and back softly. You noticed that none of you moved from the previous position. You smiled, smelling his addicting scent, pressing a gentle kiss on his chest.

“Good morning hermosa” Pedro said, with a cute, low and raspy voice

“Good morning baby” you moved away a little, looking at him, putting your right hand on his face, kissing him softly.

“Did you sleep well?” He asked you, now playing with your hair

“Yes, finally now that you’re here” It’s true that it’s always rough without him. You’re a bad sleeper in general, but magically, you sleep well with him next to you.

“Yo también” (me too), Pedro said. He is also a bad sleeper, and ironically, with you, he’s less. Suddenly, you heard Pedro’s stomach growl. “I guess I’m hungry” he chuckled.

“Okay, stay here, I’m going to make you breakfast” you said enthusiastically as you sat up. “What do you want? Eggs?”

“Hm, yes” he said smiling. He watched you leave to the kitchen.

You started to prepare the eggs. While it cooked, you poured a cup of coffee for him, and a cup of tea for you.

“What’s that smell?” You said, smelling something bad. You walked closer to the smell. It happened to be the eggs. It smelled like it was burning. “Are the eggs rotten?” You came closer. They looked normal.

“What is that smell?” Pedro asked as he arrived to the kitchen.

“You smell it too?”

“Yeah, from the bedroom”

“I think it’s the eggs” you said smelling them again. He came closer and smelled them too.

“Oh wow. Are they rotten?”

“I don’t know, they don’t look like they are” They were ready, so you put them on a plate. Pedro took his cup of coffee and sat down at the table. You put the plate in front of him.

“You know what, I am not really hungry anymore” he said looking at the eggs

“You’re serious? They’re good to eat” you sat in front of him, staring to eat the eggs. He was staring at you.

“So?”

“They’re good, they taste good” he nodded then got up. You started to scroll on your phone, going through your notifications. A few minutes later, Pedro sat back down in front you, with a plate of eggs. “Wait- I thought you weren’t hungry anymore?” You were speechless

“Well- I thought to b-” you cut him

“But you didn’t want to eat what you thought were rotten eggs” you started to laugh

“Claramente” (obviously)

“So you let me eat them?”

“If they were rotten you would not have swallowed, so technically, you would not have eaten them”

“You asshole” you slapped his arm “it’s good to know that if we are being poisoned I’ll be the one dying first” you both laughed

“Why would w-”

“You never know who could try to kill you” you got up. “Be careful I might try to get my revenge” you said, looking at him with devil eyes. He gasped

“You wouldn’t”

“Si si papi” you said putting your plate in the sink. He smirked.

“Lo probaré la próxima vez!” (I’ll taste it first next time)

“No te creo” (I don’t believe you) you both laughed

You started to wash your plate, when Pedro came behind you. He put hair to side, and started kissing your neck.

“¿Qué puedo hacer para compensarte?” He whispered in your ear. His hands went on your waist. You smiled, throwing your head on his shoulder. He turned you around. “mi corazón” he said, caressing your cheek, than your lips.

“Hm, what about watching my favorite tv show with me?” You said putting your arms around his neck. His eyes widened. He wasn’t the biggest fan of your favorite tv show, and sadly for him, you loved watching it over and over. “If you watch at least three episodes with me right now, you’re forgiven” you chuckled

“You’re lucky I love you”

“Says the guy who would let me eat poison” you both laughed.

“Okay okay! Go ahead and put it on, I’ll finish the dishes.”

“Thank you” you kissed him passionately

And that’s how, five minutes later, you were all cuddled up with him on the couch, explaining the basic story of the show before starting it. It was hard for him although extremely funny for you to see him struggle. He did try to entertain himself by kissing you (a lot), but you were strict and stopped him (even if you didn’t really want to).

Gender neutral! Reader X Gotham Rogues Crochet Headcanons

This is so self-indulgent and too detailed for how dumb this concept is...my God. Anyway, crochet headcanons for the Gotham Rogues. How do they react to your crochet hobby? What do you make for them?

Featuring: The Penguin, The Riddler, Zsasz

The Penguin (Ozzie my beloved)

One of Oswald's most prominent love languages is gift-giving (he is SUCH a sugar daddy, c'mon)

So whether you already know how to crochet before meeting him or gently bring up wanting to try it while sharing dinner one night...

He is already getting out his card. A set of beautiful, ergonomic crochet hooks with colors to differentiate between the sizes, a leather yarn bag and organizer, plus yarn to fill it up.

He IS such a snob about fibers tho, he would get you local wool spun right outside of Gotham, bamboo, etc. anything expensive and natural and beautiful. (Even if you beg for some cheap acrylic just to start out with)

He also gets you little penguin stitch markers. He does his research on gifts and makes sure you have EVERYTHING you need to start a new hobby. (Now why is that so hot? Anyway)

He enjoys nothing more than sitting by the fire with you, drinking brandy, (or sometimes nice hot tea), and letting you cuddle up to his side as your nimble fingers create something.

He never gets tired of the cute face you make when you concentrate, or the joy and pride you show when you finally finish a project.

The first project you EVER made had to be a little amigurumi penguin. It was terrible and lopsided and you were almost ashamed to show him. You wouldn't have, actually, if he hadn't been sitting by you the whole time you were making it.

"Little Dove, is that for me? You shouldn't have." His hands plucked it from yours before you could protest, and he hugged it to himself and complimented you. He was so cute and so genuinely happy with it. And it stays on his little bedside table to this day.

BUT to truly make something for him? You try to go with the classics, as Ozzie is a classic guy.

Hat, scarf, mittens.

You use smaller yarn and stitches to give it more elasticity, the yarn is all a deep, darker purple and SO soft. (Cashmere bought on his dollar but it's the thought that counts right?)

You even managed to make a little penguin on only one side of the scarf, making it a little secret for Ozzie while still keeping the scarf classy.

He loves any gift from you but this? He starts planning his winter outfits to match your creations immediately.

He can smell you on the scarf still, since you spent so much time with that yarn, and it makes him smile even as the wind bites at him on cold days in Gotham. 💜

The Riddler

Listen, he's great but we all know he is kinda patronizing and a little bit of an asshole right? (Some versions more than others)

So he supports your hobby, even if your yarn and supplies take up space that he could be using for traps or riddles.

He does to research and figure out as much as he can about the hobby, but he won't dedicate time to it like you will, so he never gets as good. But he DOES know the basics, which means he can now critique you.

You are having trouble with a pattern? "Darling, that's just a double crochet into a half-double crochet into a triple crochet repeated 10 times into a magic ring. Simple."

You lost track of your stitch count? "Well I guess we can't all be multitaskers like me. I'll be silent for a bit while you count. 🙄"

With that in mind, he DOES leave you riddles in crochet pattern form occasionally. They take forever to solve but he's with you for a reason. And success is always...pleasurable for you both. 👀

Your first creation around him was just a little round frog. Green, because you thought you could gift it to Eddie.

It turned out misshapen and lumpy (listen all first projects are like this). And he teased you mercilessly for it.

"I suppose it could be a frog, from a certain angle. Maybe it's supposed to be abstract?"

It went missing after that. (Secretly Eddie keeps it at his workbench and squishes it when he's feeling stressed. The cute face you put on it does make him smile, too, but don't tell anyone 🔪)

For your actual real gift for him? You make a little crochet Riddler plush! You know the man well and he loves himself just a bit too much sometimes. (except maybe Dano Riddler but he would love it too for different reasons)

You decided to not go for realism and keep it simple in the face. But you DID go all out with the clothes. A little green suit jacket, pants, even a belt!

And you found little glasses to put on it. 🤓

When you presented it to him, he was speechless.

He takes it from you, examines it, and the wonder in his eyes makes your heart swell with pride. That is until he opens his mouth again. "I couldn't think of a better subject, truly. Though the face needs some work, dear, it doesn't truly capture my likeness."

But he says this all while hugging it to his side absentmindedly. He hugged it to himself for the rest of the night, actually. (And he now has another crochet project at his work bench)

You sometimes hear him talking to Ed Jr. while he's working, and you just smile to yourself and leave them be, turning back to your own crochet project and enjoying the peace.

Victor Zsasz

My headcanon is that Zsasz is into needlework and crochet, maybe someone in his family taught him?

He recommends what most seasoned crochet people will tell you, don't buy the fancy stuff and get some $3 goodwill hooks to start out with.

He also gifts you some yarn remnants to practice with, and when he doesn't have a job he'll sit next to you on the couch while you watch a movie, patiently helping you with steps you may struggle with.

Sometimes he may silently correct your form, showing you a different way to hold yarn tension or helping you remember how to make a slip stitch.

Your first project was just a simple washcloth. ("Nothing fancy to start out with, get the basics done first and then we may start with other stuff. If you do good.")

And you succeeded! Turns out it IS easier to do something basic at the beginning. Who knew. (Victor did)

After that you continued to have YouTube Video Essay/Needlework nights. Victor would sometimes not even work on anything and just lay against your side.

Sometimes he would even lay in your lap, spitting out any yarn fragments dramatically if they got in his mouth and pouting up at you until he got your attention.

Anyway. The actual project you made him was a nice, cozy sweater. And it was HARD to hide from him. Luckily, his profession DOES sometimes take him out of your apartment for hours upon hours at a time, so you have the ability to work in secret.

You think a simple black sweater is just perfect, something made of cotton or wool and maybe lined with red on the collar/trim, but that's it.

His immediate reaction when you gave it to him was to kiss the LIFE out of you, thanking you for thinking of him.

Then he pulls it over his head immediately, poking his head out and grinning goofily at you.

That night, you don't work on any crochet projects because he takes up your whole lap, cuddled up in his sweater and rubbing his hands up and down your sides, your hips...

Yeah he distracts you well.

And he wears the sweater proudly, but not on jobs. He reserves it for walks around town with you, so he can say his partner made it for him.

Bowser doesn't really have any allies in my AU. King Boo and his boos are a really small community of creatures in comparison to Bowsers kingdom. And they mostly just stay in their forest and mind their own business. And yes sometimes troops go into that forest and King Boo takes them. But Bowser doesn't care about a few measly troops disappearing. It would only be a problem if huge clusters of troops went missing.

Point is though, King Boo and Bowser have no alliance. They just kind'a leave each other alone.

As for King Bomb Omb and King Thwomp? I pictured them to be mega troops created by Kamek. Thwomps are supposed to be these enormous bricks from an old temple that were brought to life. Perhaps King Thwomp is a huge wall of bricks that didn't separate when they were brought to life? King Bomb Omb could be the same. A giant experimental bomb omb that was brought to life.

In the end, King Thwomp and King Bomb Omb were created to serve Bowser. He treats and uses them as tools. Nothing more really..

Y/N put her phone down and dug through the small suitcase of clothes she had packed to find the skirt and top she knew she had packed. Relief flooded through her when she found them at the bottom of the bag.

She darted to the bathroom to get changed, fixing her hair so it looked presentable. She considered lipstick but knew it would make for a nicer first kiss if she stuck to just lip balm. She wanted it to be as perfect as possible.

“Ready to go?” Kyle asked once she emerged. He always looked handsome, but something about the way he looked at that moment was special. He had let his hair run a little more on the wild side than usual. She wondered if it was because she had told him she liked it like that. His top two buttons were undone, whereas he would usually only unbutton the first. She had to snap herself out of admiring him for too long, or she would seem creepy.

“Ready!” She confirmed, realising he was waiting for an answer. She held out her arm, and he linked it with his own. They ignored the kissing noises Ike was making as they walked out the door.

“Are you okay with walking?” Kyle asked. “It’s only down the road.”

Y/N looked nervously down at her shoes, realising it was probably a bad idea to have worn heels, but decided to push past it. “I’m happy to walk!”

Those words haunted her after just five minutes of walking. They were apparently halfway there, but she was already struggling. She did her best to hide her discomfort from Kyle, but he picked up on it as he had slowed down significantly to accommodate her.

By the time they made it to Stark’s Pond, she had to flop down on the nearest bench as soon as possible.

“This is why I don’t wear heels,” She groaned, kicking the demon shoes off. “They’re a torture device and not the fun kind.”

“Fun torture?” Kyle was confused for a second, but the realisation hit him right after. “Oh! Right… Yeah…”

“Sorry,” Y/N laughed a little awkwardly. “I guess you’re not into all that?”

“I guess I’ve just….” He tried not to let his thoughts linger on the idea for too long, not out of discomfort but because the idea turned him on a little more than he anticipated. Even though it was 7pm and the sun had mostly set, there was still a hint of light, and he couldn’t risk her seeing a tent in his pants and being weirded out by it. “Never thought of it.”

“Ducks!” Y/N suddenly gasped, pointing at the birds. “Oh! I wish we had something to feed them!”

“Who says we don’t?” Kyle grinned as she looked at him in pure excitement. “And before you say it, no, it’s not bread because I know that’s not good for them.” Looking through the satchel he brought with him, he found the bag of frozen peas he had snuck out from under his mom’s nose in preparation. There were always ducks at Stark’s Pond, and Y/N had talked about how she always loved feeding the ducks back at home and educated him on what was safe to feed them. He wanted her to know that he had listened and cared about what she said.

Kyle felt his heart almost leapt out of his chest when she flung her arms around him in a hug that left him breathless, both because of how tight it was and because it was paired with a kiss to the cheek. He reminded himself again that kisses on the cheek were normal for Y/N. She did them all of the time with her friends. They were friends.

When she switched and kissed him on the other cheek as well, his hands instantly tensed around her as he hugged her back. Two kisses. Very good friends.

“Come on!” Y/N stood up, her shoes abandoned by the bench, not caring about how muddy it was around the pond as she tried to pull Kyle up with her. She almost fell over when he did get up, not expecting the sudden change in force required, but he managed to catch her just in time. She didn’t seem phased, just laughed at the situation.

Her laugh echoed through his mind and heart. He could listen to it on repeat for the rest of his life and never get tired of the sound.

The ducks loved the frozen peas, and watching Y/N’s joy when they went crazy for them was unlike anything he had ever seen. In his head, he had already planned a future for them where they bought a house in the countryside and raised ducks together. He couldn’t comprehend how he had so quickly become absolutely smitten with her, but he wasn’t upset by it.

As they threw the last handful of peas into the pond, Kyle looked down at Y/N beside him just as she looked up at him, a breathtaking smile on her face. He knew exactly what he needed to do, what he had planned their whole evening around.

All he had to do was lean down and kiss her.

He knew she could sense it. Her smile softened, eyes fluttered half closed as he leaned in and… pulled her in for a hug.

Something in his brain short-circuited. He froze at the last second, head moving to the side to avoid the collision. 

“I really value our friendship,” The words left his lips before he could stop them. They were the wrong ones. He was supposed to say that he felt more than friendship for her, but the words were gone, and the moment had slipped from his grip.

“Me too,” The disappointment in her voice was evident. He could feel it over the disappointment he felt in himself for being a coward and not saying the right thing, not doing the right thing.

“We should get back before it gets too late,” He sighed, looking up as the moon started to peek through the trees.

“Right,” She nodded, looking over at the bench where her shoes lay. “Give me a second…” She walked over and started to put them back on. Kyle could still salvage the evening. He had to. He owed her that much.

With ease, he lifted her up bridal style, just like he had two weeks before on Halloween. She squealed in surprise, her hands wrapping around the back of his neck for support. Her laughter echoed in his ear, returning a fraction of the joy they had shared before he ruined the moment.

The atmosphere between them had changed, but it wasn’t exactly a pleasant change for either one of them. It wasn’t the change Kyle hoped to have returned home with that evening. Few words were exchanged as they settled in for the night, Y/N on the bed, Kyle on the air mattress. Each faced one another, but they were on their phones.

Y/N sighed and turned off her phone. They would be driving to her mother’s house the next day. She was worried the situation would just make things worse. Her mother’s presence tended to do that. She wanted to fix things between them before they were ruined for good.

“It’s cold,” Y/N whispered, snuggling under the covers as she watched Kyle turn his phone off as well and meet her gaze. Concern flooded his face.

“Do you want some more blankets?” He asked, sitting up in preparation to grab some blankets from the closet.

“No,” She shook her head, feeling bold. “You’re warmer.”

“I’m what?” He looked up at her from his lower position on the air mattress on the floor. “Do you want me to…?” She didn’t say anything, just lifted up the covers so he could join her. It was his bed, after all. It made more sense for him to sleep in it than on the air mattress. 

Slightly hesitantly, he got up and slipped into bed next to her, his body stiffening when her arms wrapped around him. It only took him a few seconds to relax into the position, his arm reaching over her in return. It was the same way they had slept the night before.

“Goodnight, Ky,” She whispered. His heart skipped a beat at the new nickname. Maybe he hadn’t fucked up his confession as much as he thought?

“Goodnight, Y/N.”
